This means Julia Louis-Dreyfus's political satire will be back for a sixth season, Mike Judge's tech comedy will return for its fourth season, and Game of Thrones will continue into its seventh season (it's still up in the air as to whether or not it will end for good after the eighth season). In other words: your Sunday nights are still safe.

"People are so obsessed with celebrities and celebrities seem to be so obsessed with portraying everyday people," Barber told Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). "I thought, right, if this is what everyone does - challenge accepted."

The Truth About How Dairy Is Affecting Your Skin
Before you dip your spoon back into the ice cream carton, you might want to read this. While you may not be lactose intolerant when it comes to your stomach, dairy could be affecting your skin when it comes to acne, inflammation, and aging. The concept that dairy is connected to skin health has long been buzzed about, and many claim their face is only clear when they eat a diet free of the food group. To weigh in on the matter, we consulted Dr. Frank Lipman of the Be Well group.
"The skin is our largest organ and reflects what is going on internally throughout the body, so when we see signs of irritation or inflammation showing up on our skin, it is a signal that our body is reacting to something," he explained. "Exposure to dairy can often be a culprit here as it can activate our immune system and cause an inflammatory response."
Dr. Lipman broke down three ways that milk and cheese may be keeping you from flawless skin.

All the Celebrities Turning 90 in 2016

Well, aside from both living in two of the most famous homes in the world, and both having four children a piece, they will also both be turning 90 this year - and they're not the only famous names to be celebrating their landmark birthday in 2016.

This Woman's 9-Hour Boston Marathon Run Will Inspire You
Seventy-two year old marathon runner and cancer survivor Fran Drozdz is proof that even if you place dead last in a race, you can still be #winning. She started her run in Monday's Boston Marathon at 11:30 a.m. Fran was on the course for more than nine hours ending her race at 8:45 p.m. and was the last person to cross the finish line.
Fran ran the marathon with a charity team to raise money for Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and in honor of her husband, Stan, who is currently battling cancer. Stan waited all day for his wife to complete the race, and worried his wife was either lost or injured, he called for police assistance as the race crew began packing up the event. His fears were allayed when he saw Fran approaching in good spirits followed by media. He helped her walk across the finish line and congratulated her with a medal.
This wasn't Fran's first time participating in a marathon, though. The runner has earned her nickname "Thunder Thighs" for running at least one marathon in every state in the country and is currently on her second round of the states. So next time you're out jogging for a few minutes and feel like stopping in your tracks, just remember that this woman did it - no matter how long it took her. Check out more of her story in the video below.
Prince William and Prince Harry Share Quite a Laugh While Watching Home Movies of Their Dad as a Toddler
In a documentary made in honor of Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday on Thursday, Elizabeth at 90: A Family Tribute, Prince William and Prince Harry get quite a kick out of watching some never-before-seen footage of their father, Prince Charles, romping around in the yard as a young boy. Dressed in an adorable playsuit and little leather shoes, Charles struts across the lawn to his mother while she tends to his sister, Princess Anne, in her pram. "He walks like George! Or, George walks like him," Harry says with a laugh while sitting side by side with William, who clearly agrees, adding, "It's a purposeful walk."
In addition to the documentary, the queen has been honored with a collection of postage stamps featuring her, Charles, William, and George and will be ringing in her 90th year with a number of massive celebrations. Check out William and Harry's video above, and see the lovely portrait Queen Elizabeth took with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Girls' Night Out: Before and After Kids
Now that I'm out of the all-emcompassing baby phase, I've started reincorporating regular girls' nights out into my life, and man, are they fun. I'd really missed the spontaneous Thursday night girlie get-togethers that were such a big part of my pre-mom life but have seemed so impossible to pull off since I had my two kids, now ages 2 and 5. (Blame high-maintenance sleepers, personal exhaustion, and a lack of desire to attempt to look cute.) While my new nights out with girlfriends are still full of laughter and fueled by wine and margaritas, that's pretty much where the similarities end. Here's a breakdown of a girls' night out before and after kids.
Meeting Time
Before kids: It's happy hour, ladies. Shut down computers at 5 p.m. on the dot and meet up right away because all of our days, full of meetings, office politics, and, OK, some online shopping, were just sooo stressful.
After kids: Negotiate with husbands to leave right after the kids are fed and bathed. Move up dinner and bath time and try to sneak out around 6:30 or 7. The day, full of temper tantrums, nonsensical, yet emphatic demands, and whining has been incredibly stressful. Surely hubbies can handle bedtime alone, at least without calling 10 times in a row like last time, right?
The Destination
Before kids: It's a tough call between that dive bar with the great drink specials, that favorite sushi spot, and the sports bar with a hundred TVs and even more cute guys.
After kids: If we have to a) wait for a table b) strain to hear each other or c) wait too long for a drink, it's not happening. Any quiet (before we arrive) restaurant with good drinks and a menu that doesn't include a kids' section is just fine.
Opening Conversation
Before kids: Dealing with a breakup, waiting for a proposal, or looking for a new job? You get the floor first. Everyone else jumps in with somewhat helpful advice, affirmations about how amazing you are, and commisseration about their equally annoying boyfriends and bosses.
After kids: Your kid bit someone at school, kept you up for four hours last night, or decided to use your hallway to try out that rogue Sharpie? You win. Everyone else jumps in with actually helpful advice, affirmations about how amazing of a mom you are, and commisseration about their equally annoying children.
The Cocktails
Before kids: Bottles of cheap Sauvignon Blanc and vodka sodas flow like water, especially during the warmer months. Everyone has Summer Fridays, so why not blow it out on Thursday and start the weekend off right? Even the worst hangover can be managed during a four-hour workday.
After kids: Things start strong (as in, "where is that waitress? I need a drink immediately") in an effort to get a quick buzz, then slow down as the night goes on. No one wants to get full-out drunk when there's the possibility that your toddler might still be awake when you get home. Two, OK three, glasses of wine is pretty much the max.
The Wrap-Up
Before kids: A little hazy, but a little after midnight, someone decides to go meet her boyfriend while someone else remembers she has an 8 a.m. meeting. Either that or the restaurant runs out of your preferred brand of Sauvignon Blanc because your group drank them all (not that that ever happened to my friends . . . more than twice).
After kids: Shortly before 10, someone starts panicking about missing her usual 9:30 bedtime while someone else's husband calls, begging for help with a suddenly sick or sleep-averse kid. Everyone chugs that last glass of wine and runs home.
The Parting Words
Before kids: Let's definitely do this again next week.
After kids: I wish we could do this next week. Maybe next month?

7 Things Working Moms Need to Stop Doing Right Now
Being a working parent is tough but there are many joys to bringing home the bacon and relishing a role outside of the home. That said, there are a few things working moms do that jeopardize their sanities, self-esteem, advancement, and, sometimes, family lives. Here are seven things that all working moms need to put the kibosh on right now!
Guilt Over Working
Do dads feel guilt over providing for their families? Maybe sometimes if they're working long hours or traveling, but more often than not work is viewed as a natural extension of a man and father's personality. A must-do. A way to survive. Why, as a mother, should work be seen as anything different? Your work is an extension of you as an authentic human being. Your work is a method of survival. Why should it be any different because you have ovaries, a uterus, etc.?
Working After Hours
We all have work that hits us after hours especially for those of us, like myself, who work at home. It's almost as if you live (and you do!) in your office 24/7. However, there has to be a time in which you put the phone down and stop checking the email between particular hours so that you can:
a) Be a parent and effectively enjoy the time you have with your children and
b) Relax and decompress from the day
You're no good to any employer if you're constantly on!
Stalling Asking For a Raise
You need money. You work hard. You have put the time in, so what's holding you back? Are you worried about being too aggressive? Are you worried that your boss will get angry? The reality is the only thing that can happen is he or she says no. No one is going to fire you for wanting a raise, and if the answer is truly no, perhaps it's time you consider a different job. Are you really getting paid your worth? Fight for what you deserve, diplomatically so. Men do it all the time. You are providing for a family. Ask!
Avoiding Me Time
Juggling work and family life is an act and feat in itself, but it's important to build in me time into your schedule just as it's important to build in family time. Not caring for yourself could jeopardize your work performance, which could affect your ability to provide. Not caring for yourself could make you an agitated and angry parent, which means your poor kids suffer. Take time to relax alone!
Comparing Yourself to Childless Co-Workers
When your kids have Spring break and there's no one to watch them and so you need to work from home or take the time off, don't stop to compare yourself to your childless co-workers. Raising children while working is a delicate act and sometimes, especially if there's a family crisis or an illness or other high-needs situation, you may have to step away from work duties or work at home or late at night or flex hours to make sure your job and your family's needs are met. This is something your childless co-workers may or may not understand and a part of you may feel envious that they are not juggling such matters, but it is what it is!
Taking It All On Yourself
If you're a divorced mom or a married mom, the other parent needs to step up to the plate to help out with family duties just as you do. Your work matters just as much as your partner's work or your former partner's work. Don't take on everything yourself regarding family matters and errands, leaving you drained or worse, hurting your work performance because you have bitten off more than you can chew. You need to ask dad or the other coparent to take off work during some school vacations or hey, please make dinner tonight. Too many women take on everything because they don't like how the other partner does something or because they're simply used to taking charge but in order to stay sane, ask for assistance. If this means hiring a babysitter or home-helper or calling on family or friends, do it!
Talking Bad About Their Jobs to the Kids
You may love your job! If so, this doesn't apply to you, but if you hate your job, I truly understand but don't tell this to your children - too much. You don't want your kids to grow up finding and viewing work as drudgery and a horror, even if work can be! You want your children to have a positive attitude about work and careers. If your job is truly that bad, you really ought to consider how you can find a new one! Your unhappiness will bleed into your children's lives, guaranteed.
The Reason This Mother Had to Throw Out 500 Ounces of Breast Milk Will Destroy You
"I normally would not post something this personal, but I do not remember the last time I felt so justly upset," starts Jessica Coakley Martinez in a post to Facebook from London Heathrow Airport, where she was forced to dispose of 500 ounces of pumped breast milk. Aviation security informed Martinez on Wednesday that though she'd passed through several countries' airports over the course of two weeks with the frozen-solid milk, it "might at some future time become a liquid," which violates the Civil Aviation rule.
The working mother of two says finding the time to give her job and family ample care is hard enough without the challenges she faces as someone who is fortunate enough to travel the world for her job. Her wish to exclusively breastfeed her second son for a year was thwarted when she couldn't pump enough to feed him while she was away, so this extra blow of having to throw away two weeks' worth of milk was even more upsetting for her.
This wasn't some rare bottle of wine or luxury perfume I was trying to negotiate as a carry on. This was deeply personal. This was my son's health and nourishment. This was the money I would now need to spend buying formula that wasn't necessary. This wasn't tomorrow's milk; it was two weeks worth of nutrition for my child. And it was the countless hours of my time, my energy, even my dignity in some instances, all driven by my willingness to go to any length to get my child what he needs that you dumped into the trash like a random bottle of travel shampoo . . . Your absolute unwillingness to use professional judgment and customer service to make a reasonable exception in the face of equally reasonable circumstances is shameful.
Martinez's open letter to the security at Terminal 5 will destroy you no matter what your stance on breastfeeding is, as the desire to give your child everything you possibly can is universal. Read her entire letter in full below.
This Mexican Compound Just Made George Clooney $100 Million Richer
The biggest testament to George Clooney's tight bond with friend and business partner Rande Gerber and his wife, Cindy Crawford, are the two vacation homes they built side by side in a shared compound in Los Cabos, Mexico, lovingly dubbed Casamigos (aka House of Friends). Now the friends that played together are making money together. A Mexican billionaire reportedly just purchased the twin mansions for a cool $100 million. While it was previously reported that only George and his lovely wife, Amal, were looking to sell, it seems they were offered a deal they couldn't refuse.
The history of Casamigos goes way back. George and Rande discovered the oceanside lot while traveling together and began to envision the possibilities: Christmas vacations without booking a year in advance and a short enough flight to accommodate spontaneous weekend trips. Designed by Ricardo Legorreta, one of Mexico's famed architects, and his son, Víctor, the two modern structures nestled in the oceanfront compound are breathtaking.
The house was even featured in a past issue of Architectural Digest. Take a peek inside!
Like Rande and Cindy's home (pictured here), George's house also opens with a long hallway that flows elegantly into a dramatic central courtyard. The courtyard connects to a series of sitting areas, dining spaces, an open kitchen, and a bar.
Both homes have spacious pools that face the ocean. Rande and Cindy's pool (pictured here) includes a stunning terrace that provides plenty of places to lounge and eat while taking in the views.
George's home comes equipped with an especially spacious bar area. The large flat-screen TV is a popular spot for catching sports games with friends.
George's courtyard is similar to Rande and Cindy's, with the addition of netted, fisherman-style pendants that illuminate the space at night.
For even more pictures of Casamigos, check out the full feature in Architectural Digest!

Watching Legos Get Crushed by a Hydraulic Press Is Exactly What You Need Today
Are you a fan of watching oddly satisfying things? If so, you're going to love the latest (and weirdest trend): watching a hydraulic press crush items. A hydraulic press is a simple machine used to either crush or mold objects. It's not a machine you commonly see in a household, which is probably why the Hydraulic Press Channel on YouTube is so popular. The channel posts a weekly video showing a hydraulic press crushing anything. Our favorites so far include Barbie, an alarm clock, a camera, and Legos (which you can see in the video above). Even the White House is a fan, seeing as its Facebook page posted one of the channel's videos of a cable box being crushed. If you do anything at all today, watch the video above and see your favorite Lego toys turn into barely anything - you might even empathize with one of the Legos trying to escape.

Dove's New Campaign Is a Powerful Reminder to Love Your Strands
Dove campaigns have a way of making all women feel good about themselves, and the brand's latest #LoveYourHair initiative is equally inspiring. The mission? To get every woman to feel good about their hair no matter what color, texture, or style they choose for themselves.
In a short video, women describe all the societal pressures they face from choosing to wear or color their strands a certain way. Dove responds that it's time to broaden the definition of beautiful hair by celebrating ALL hair types. It's empowering to see a company stand behind us women and our desire to do what we want with our manes - especially since we're big advocates for trying whatever new style trend strikes your fancy.
So, if you're Asian and want to go blond, go for it. If you have curly hair and want to straighten it, do it! And if you love your hair just the way it is without dye or blowouts (sadly, Dove discovered only 11 percent of women do), own it.
We're sure you'll agree that celebrating your natural texture and color is uplifting. It's also refreshing to stop worrying about what everyone else thinks of your style . . . because, at the end of the day, those strands belong to you and you alone.

Why This Woman Is Proud of Being "the Meanest Mom in the World"
Even though Jamie Primak Sullivan took her kids out for ice cream, she still walked away with three extremely upset children and the self-proclaimed title of "meanest mom in the world." But for this publicist and producer, that's a title she'll wear proudly if it means that she taught her little ones an important life lesson.
In a Facebook post that has since gone viral, Jamie described what happened after she brought her kids to Dairy Queen and let them place their orders:
The young lady (maybe 17) handed each child their ice cream. Not one looked her in the eye. Not one said thank you. Not to her, not to me... So I waited. I counted to 10 in my head as they dug into their ice cream and the young lady just looked at me (probably because she thought I was hearing voices) and I watched as my children strolled out the door. I followed them outside where I calmly collected their ice creams and my kids watched in horror as I deposited them into the nearby garbage can.
She then explained to her kids that one day, if they were lucky, each of them would work a job like the young lady who served them their ice cream. She said that when that day comes, she hopes that people will really see them, look them in the eye, and say thank you.
"We are too old at eight, seven, and five to move through our days without exercising manners and honestly, basic human decency," Jamie noted. "So today, I am the meanest mom in the world."
Oprah Winfrey Was the Highest Bidder and This Estate Is What She Won
Media mogul and Weight Watchers partial-owner and spokeswoman Oprah Winfrey only recently bought a lavish Telluride retreat, but it's just come to light that she's already purchased again. Her most recent acquisition is Seafair Farm, a 23-acre equestrian estate in Montecito, the affluent California town near Santa Barbara where Oprah already owns an uberluxe neo-Georgian mansion. Seafair Farm is one of the largest and most coveted properties in town, and until it went up to auction it had been owned by the same wealthy family for thirty years. According to the auction's timeline, Oprah put the winning bid of $28.85 million on the property in November and closed in December. Purchasing a sprawling equestrian farm seems like an odd move for Ms. Winfrey, until you learn that the farm is located adjacent to her existing property on one side and abutted by a 44-acre dedicated preserve on the other. It looks like Oprah is planning on expanding her Montecito mansion into a secluded palace. As for the 4,750 square-foot, four-bedroom, four-and-a-half bath ranch house that sits on the farm along with barns, paddocks, and pens, we can only imagine Oprah will acquire a deep affinity for horses - or have one heck of a guest property to offer friends when they come to visit. Take an in-depth look at Oprah's latest estate below.

Why Being a Workaholic Is a Good Thing - on 1 Condition
Whatever, I'll admit it: I'm workaholic, and I'm not sorry about it. I'm not the type who doesn't have friends, never talks to their family, and has no social life at all outside of work. I am, however, the constant email checker, the late-nights-and-weekend worker, and the person who generally can't or won't "turn it off" when other people are able to (and where maybe sometimes I should).
And I'm 100 percent OK with that. The word "workaholic" has a negative connotation - and in many cases, rightfully so. Working too much is associated with high levels of stress, an actual decrease in productivity at work, strained relationships, and an unhealthly work-life balance. But some of my best work is done during bouts of high stress. If I drew the line at 5 p.m. and closed up shop the minute I deemed the day done, some of my most cherished career highlights wouldn't have occured. We all probably wouldn't get half as much done if we weren't pushing ourselves hard. Maybe that's being a workaholic, maybe that's just being a hard-ass worker. So here's why being a workaholic can be a good thing, but with one VERY important condition.
1. "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard."
I often see this quote by a coach named Tim Notke floating around on lists of inspiring words, and for someone who is a workaholic, this rings especially true. Intelligence and talent will get you far - very far, in fact. But at the end of the day, the thing that trumps everything else is how much you put into something you really want.
2. Workaholics take on responsibility.
They're the people picking up the slack, the people who are willing to do the things that no one else wants to do, the ones taking responsibilities off other people's shoulders when and if they can. Yes, in part it's because a lot of us suffer from the "if you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself" mentality, but we're also able to see the bigger picture and know that taking on the more menial tasks isn't any less important than tackling the things on our actual to-do lists.
3. They're willing to work anytime, anywhere and to do it well.
Workaholics can be counted on pretty much any time of the day, no matter what. They will unfailingly jump into the job eagerly, willingly, and with enthusiasam for the task at hand.
4. They don't stop until their mission is accomplished.
Yes, this can be seemingly impossible. And no, nothing is ever actually perfect. But there's nothing wrong with wanting something to be the best it can be and striving relentlessly toward that goal. Workaholics tweak, edit, redo, scrap and start over, and explore all scenarios until whatever they come up with is something they can be proud of.
5. They advance in their careers.
Workaholics get where they want to go, and they get there faster than most. Because they're willing to put the time in (and then some), they learn to understand their fields or their positions more efficiently and often more intimately. This means success - both personal and professional - is often attained rapidly and thoroughly.
6. They're passionate. Like, really passionate.
Passion and hard work make all the difference in any career, and the effort behind the end result shows, making that end result something even more special.
So, how do you draw the line between being a healthy workaholic and being one in danger of burning out?
Easy. You love what you do. You look forward to those long nights and spurts of inspiration. You put in everything you've got, and you look back and know it was worth it. If you hate what you're doing and you're doing it 24/7, it's not sustainable. But if you're seeking more room to push and develop because you're passionate about growing - not just for the sake of advancing in your career but because you don't want to stop seeing just how high you can fly - then work your heart out. Know your limits, find and appreciate your stress-free and happy moments, schedule a vacation you can look forward to in the future, then get back to cranking out your craft and giving it everything you got. There's definitely nothing wrong with THAT.

Why I Absolutely Refuse to Buy Anything From Ikea
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Sheila Gim
I know I run the risk of being blasted for such a strong statement, but it's true, I absolutely refuse to buy anything from Ikea. Life is too damn short to struggle so much for furniture. Here are my backup reasons why:
1. The Fails Seem Unavoidable, Predictable Even
OK, I've never bought a single piece of Ikea furniture before, so I can't speak from personal experience, but I don't know a friend, family member, and coworker that hasn't struggled, failed, and given up when it comes to assembling Ikea furniture. I think I actively decided against buying anything from Ikea thanks to my sister, who's apartment consists of many pieces of Ikea furniture. I consider her the most skilled furniture assembler in the world, and even she has owned up to the fact that a set of Ikea drawers, for instance, may take her all weekend to build.
All weekend? Excuse me, but my weekends are sacred, and I'd rather be outdoors shopping in a fleamarket for a set of drawers than attempt to build one, suck at it majorly, and run the risk of a meltdown that requires a bottle of wine to soothe. The scene in Celeste and Jesse Forever seems all too plausible. Ryan Reynolds speaks for everyone when he says Ikea furniture causes "a slow descent into alcoholism." In addition, I need very clear, very detailed step-by-steps if I'm going to "build" something, and recently, my sister and I laughed and laughed at the set of instructions (if you can call them that) that came with her Ikea drawers.
2. I Am Accident-Prone and Don't Trust Myself
All of these furniture recalls really freak me out. I don't trust myself to build a safe, sturdy piece of furniture. I am confident I'd find a way to collapse (in the chair) or something equally as terrible and dangerous. No thanks.

3. The Store Is a Consumer's Prison
Have you ever tried to just do a quick "walk through" an Ikea? The store is designed to be a mousetrap. Even the "shortcuts" take you another roundabout way. There is no escaping the florescent lights and dizzying, sickening rows of stuff. I couldn't help but imagine all of it ending up in a landfill in a few years time.
4. I Bought One Thing and Am Unhappy With It
I have bought exactly one thing from Ikea in all of my adulthood, and that's a mattress. Truth is, I had wanted a latex mattress, and my then-boyfriend pressured me into going the cheap-o route and buying from Ikea. I should have known better. I loathe sleeping on the mattress and will never forget my experience of actually buying it. I had ordered it ahead, but since it would have taken forever (and cost extra) to get it delivered, I opted to go to the store to pick it up. Disaster. I scheduled my pick-up time way in advance, but it still took them an hour for them to pull the mattress to the pick-up section. Thankfully I had two extra sets of hands to stuff it into the back of my car, but I'm getting too old for this rodeo of lifting stuff that's too heavy for my small frame. I plan on going the Casper route next time.
5. Ikea Furniture Doesn't "Spark Joy"
I recently went through Marie Kondo's KonMari Method, which calls for assessing every single thing you own (furniture included) and tossing everything that doesn't "spark joy." Ikea furniture doesn't "spark joy" for me. I want to value the objects I own, and I find that's hard to do with Ikea furniture, maybe because it's intended to be temporary and something that's tossed within a few years use. I get that people are often motivated by price when buying furniture, and I am too, but I value pieces of furniture I want to keep for a while.
10 Ways to Spend Less at CVS
CVS is (debatably) king of the modern American drugstores, with tons of shopper-friendly products and prices. We don't blame you a bit, though, if you're looking to save even MORE cash at the Consumer Value Store. Below are 10 ways you can keep your wallet happy when making the trip to this particular chain. (And while you're at it, check out our hacks for saving cash at Walgreens!)
- Enroll in the membership program. Snagging a free ExtraCare card is crucial in hoarding those additional dollars at CVS. The rewards program ensures you get the store's ExtraSavings sales on weekly select items! Simply ask to sign up at checkout.
- Keep an eye on the weekly ad. Take your membership one step further by creating an account online. This way, you can manage your ExtraCare rewards from your laptop as well as view the weekly ad and deals tailored to members.
- Use your ExtraCare Bucks. The precious ExtraCare Bucks (ECB) feature may be the breadwinner of membership perks. These "bucks" are essentially cash, and work as in-store credit. They automatically print at the bottom of your receipt, and they're issued four times per year on Jan. 1, April 1, July 1, and Oct. 1 for 2 percent back on in-store and online purchases. Qualifying items from the weekly ad will earn you ECB as well. Keep in mind they DO expire, so save your receipts and don't forget about them!
- Check the website for general deals. Even nonmembers can see an overview of deals, including printable coupons, on the website.
- Purchase discounted gift cards. You can get these convenient discounted gift cards on Gift Granny!
- If applicable, join the Veterans Advantage program. Veterans will save 20 percent every time they buy items from the online store.
- Sign up to be a CVS advisor. By taking CVS surveys a few times per year, you'll become eligible for savings and rewards. Sign up here.
- Take advantage of the coupon kiosk. Look for the in-store coupon kiosk, which will print out coupons and special offers for ExtraCare members.
- Buy more CVS brand products. Ask yourself if you really need the name-brand product that costs a couple bucks more, or if the generic CVS brand would work just as well. Usually, it's not worth the higher price!
- Download the app. The CVS app advertises app-only deals. Just link your card and swoop up those exclusive bargains!

18 of the Best Things About Going to Disneyland as an Adult

How Saying "Yes" to (Most) Things Has Changed My Life
Thinking back on how different things are in my life now compared to when I first moved to San Francisco after graduating college last year is pretty crazy. I was still with my then-boyfriend of four years. I was just starting out at my job at POPSUGAR and basically starting over in a new city. Minus a couple acquaintences who lived in the Bay Area, most of my friends and family were all back home in LA. It was only a week in when I left our apartment and our relationship, only a week in when I was truly alone. Today I can honestly say that I'm the happiest that I've ever been and it's all thanks to saying one simple word: yes.
My first day on the job, our Fitness editor extended a press invite to a gin-tasting tour around the best spots in the city. Although fresh out of college, I wasn't much of a drinker. But I thought, "what better way to familiarize myself with San Francisco and my new co-workers than getting drunk on a private trolley?" So I said "yes" and happily took her offer. Not only was it a great way to bond with my colleagues, but it was also an experience I'll never forget.
We received yet another invite from our editor later in the year, which required flying to Newport Beach, CA, to a weekend fitness retreat. I was probably the least qualified person to have represented our Fitness team among 400 Tone It Up women. And to those who know me, the thought of this trip was laughable. Regardless of being the ambassador of junk-food binging and always opting for the elevator over stairs anyday, I said "yes." Little did I know that that would've been the start of my slightly more active life. I don't remember the last time I ran a mile let alone an entire 5K. But immediately after surprising myself at the finish line, we spent the first afternoon surfing (which I've only done once in my life for 10 minutes at age 8) followed by some stand-up paddleboarding - also totally new to me at the time. Needless to say, I had the most amazing couple days. I left the retreat feeling inspired to continue this healthy lifestyle, and I do still continue to take weekly dance classes and try to tag along on to as many fitness classes with friends as I can.
Rewind to when I was apartment hunting for myself after my breakup, when the rest of my social life in San Francisco really came to be. I fell in love with the first place I saw and went over after work one day to pick up the lease. As we were about to part ways, the tenant who I'd be taking over for said, "Hey, I swear this wasn't some ploy to get girls but do you want to grab drinks sometime?" I hadn't dated anyone in college besides my ex nor have I ever agreed to an invitation from a complete stranger. But he was cute and terribly sweet so I said "yes." And since then, he's become one of my closest friends as well as the reason why I know what I know about this city today. I got well acquainted with his roommates and amazing circle of friends who've easily become my own and who've introduced me to more things than any travel guidebook ever could. In the beginning, I realized how difficult it was to make friends as an adult. Thankfully, because we grabbed drinks, that problem quickly dissolved.
Before moving out here, I didn't care much for nightlife either. I had never gone to a bar or a club, and I was always content with hanging out at home on weekends as I still am. But new friends equaled new experiences and I was open to (most) plans I was invited to. "Want to go see (insert band or DJ here)?" My music predominantly consists of hip-hop, which is surprisingly scarce in San Francisco in comparison to the thriving electronic scene. "I have no idea who that is but yes!" And it almost always turns out to be one of the best nights of my life.
I was walking home with a girl I had met in dance class one evening and during our talk, she told me that she leads the San Francisco chapter of something called One Salon, a social and intellectual gathering where people discuss a different topic each week. She said that next week's meeting would cover the idea of happiness and the science behind it. You can probably guess what I replied. Yep - I said "yes." The following week when it took place, I walked into a common room filled with total strangers. Aside from a couple previous attendees, it turned out that no one else knew each other. As she explained on our walk home, it was a safe space where all ideas and perspectives were welcome. Listening to everyone's personal antecdotes and thoughts on happiness was eye-opening and I sat fascinated by these differing opinions. I left feeling more inspired than ever and immediately had to call my dad to talk about the amazing, electic group of people I had just met. I've been terrible at returning to the Salon since, but even if I never go back, I'm so glad I was able to experience it at least once.
If you haven't caught on yet, the moral of the story is to step out of your comfort zone when you can. Your social life and overall well-being will reap the benefits of this kind of attitude. It doesn't stop there either - being more open to challenges and opportunities at work will help you grow and standout as an employee, too. Taking initiative and being enthusiastic and willing to tackle whatever comes your way can only result in good. And equally inside the workplace as outside, fear can inhibit so much more than you realize. No one enjoys being uncomfortable; it's a feeling we all try to combat by saying "no." But the second you own that sense of foreignness and view it as a new experience or opportunity, your entire outlook will shift for the better. In addition to the amazing experiences and people I've come to know, that same sense of fulfillment and joy has extended to my daily life and I don't have to do something life-altering every day to acheive that. Harnessing a go-for-it attitude can allow positivity to reach the corners of your every day.
So the next time you're hesitant about accepting an invitation, take the plunge and go for it. What do you have to lose?
