The Cool-Girl Designer Behind This Buzzy Swimwear Brand Is About to Spill All Her Styling Secrets

Since 2012, Gabby Sabharwal has led a double life - fashion publicist by day, designer by night - taking her own eco-conscious, cool-girl collection of suits from small, NYC-based label to reputable fashion favorite. The proof is in the pudding, or, in the style world, in the collaborators and retailers that have backed Gabby's Giejo label. So far this Summer alone, that includes a capsule collection for Madewell and a Gwyneth Paltrow endorsement in GOOP's shop, plus a collaboration with Rebecca Taylor last year and retail presence in the likes of Shopbop and Barneys. Did we mention that Gabby is barely 30 years old? Still, the young designer is practically an industry vet, and while her success grows, she remains humble and enthusiastic - as excited about her collection and the Giejo customer as she was when we first met. Four years later, that's what makes Gabby one of our biggest girl crushes in the biz and a style setter we turn to on the regular for inspiration and advice.

With that in mind, we tapped the swimwear guru for the biggest trends of the season and how to get the most mileage out of the bathing suits you've got. Read on for all of Gabby's wisdom - and all the ways she's rocking her swimwear wardrobe right now.

POPSUGAR: What's the Giejo vibe/who is the Giejo girl?
Gabby Sabharwal: Giejo elevates the traditional swimwear market with a unique, personal style-focused approach to design utilizing surplus and reclaimed fabrics in our limited-edition styles. Offering swim separates and cover-ups featuring versatile prints, multifunctional details, and figure-flattering silhouettes, Giejo allows you to mix and match your swimwear for a personalized look.

We design for the modern woman, embrace individuality, and offer options to explore. Our girl is eclectic, effortless, entrepreneurial, social, and independent.

PS: What's the most flattering swimsuit?
GS: This is going to sound so cliche, but honestly, the one that you feel the most confident in!

PS: What's the swimsuit trend to look for this season?
GS: Definitely high necklines, as seen on the runway and now poolside!

Princess Mary Ditched the Royal Gown For the Boho Dress of Your Dreams

When Princess Mary joined the rest of the Danish royal family for a photo call at Grasten Castle in Denmark, she looked far more casual than regal. No crowns, brooches, or flashy jewels in sight, Mary slipped into a bohemian style midi from Sea New York, which featured a paisley print and two cream tassels. It's the type of design we like to keep on hand for our own group gatherings, whether for a beach vacation or a sunset dinner.

Mary added modest touches to her look, like pearl drop earrings and a black cardigan, and she secured the strings of her dress at the neckline. Finishing her outfit with cognac sandals and a few bracelets, Mary looked sophisticated, but completely carefree as she celebrated the Summer in good company. Read on for another look, then shop her exact piece along with a few alternatives.

8 Things That Are Decreasing Your Productivity at Work

You're at work, and you just can't seem to focus. Maybe it's because you didn't get enough sleep the night before (read: you spent way too much time watching Netflix), or because you skipped breakfast this morning. Or maybe it's neither: maybe, just maybe, you're wasting time at work doing things other than . . . work. That said, here are the eight biggest time-sucks when you're in the office, plus solutions for increasing productivity so you can do your best job ever.

1. Texting.

How much time do you spend texting your roommate about what to make for dinner tonight? "Turn off your phone during peak work hours!" says Hallie Crawford, career coach and founder of HallieCrawford.com. And if you really must know if he's cooking shrimp scampi or chicken parmesan, wait till lunch to hound him.

2. Leaving your office door open.

"Shut it when you have an important project to focus on," Crawford says simply. Leaving your door open invites coworkers to come in and chat, which is OK . . . once in a while.

3. Talkative coworkers.

And speaking of chatty colleagues, sometimes you just have to shut 'em down (politely!). "It's amazing to have friends at the office, but keep in mind you're at the office," says Jill Jacinto, a millennial career expert for WORKS. "Don't let personal conversations with your work BFF go on and on." Her easy fix? "Make plans for an after-work happy-hour to get the lowdown."

4. Checking your email.

You'd rather be doing anything but totaling those sales reports, so you refresh your email sixteen times in a row (maybe you got a new one that requires your urgent response!). "Log out so it doesn't beat you," Crawford says. Seriously! Exit out of the tab. Give yourself a fifteen minute timer for the next time you can check it - and only allow yourself three minutes once you're logged on.

5. Going out for lunch.

Taking your sweet time at Chili's so you can delay that task your boss has been bugging you about? Not your best idea. "If [your lunch breaks] last too long, bring your lunch a couple of days a week," Crawford says. It'll take you twenty minutes to polish off your peanut butter sandwich, and then you can jump back into your work with minimal time wasted.

6. Long meetings.

"Make sure there's an agenda and someone to keep time and lead the meeting," Crawford says. "Have everyone prep in advance." Your team should be striving for quick, concise, and to-the-point meetings, so you have more of your day to work on projects.

7. Online chats.

Those work chatrooms the company set up are great for when you need a quick response from your coworker about the upcoming marketing campaign. However, they're not intended to be used for discussion about your cat's latest antics. "Ween yourself off of [IM chat]," Jacinto says. "Don't be the first to IM. Know that you can share and chat on your personal time!" Jacinto also recommends you schedule a specific period of time in your day to log on and chat - during your afternoon slump is best, because it'll pick you up.

8. Not prioritizing.

We're all guilty of it: working on the stuff that isn't time-sensitive simply because it's easier. "Create your to-do list for the next day the day before so you don't waste time in the morning," Crawford says. Around 4:30 each afternoon, create a quick doc on the things you're going to take on tomorrow. Look at that - you're well on your way to a higher, better performance at work!

Out of Heavy Cream? Try This Kitchen Hack

Picture this: potato leek soup is on the menu for dinner tonight, and you're ready to get cooking when you realize that you forgot to pick up a pint of heavy cream. Don't admit defeat; all is not lost. We have a simple culinary substitution to ensure that your dish will still turn out.

To substitute 1 cup of heavy cream, mix 3/4 cup of milk and 1/3 cup of melted and cooled butter. Many people insist that this substitution will only work with whole milk (as opposed to skim or nonfat); however, in a pinch, give it a try, and see what you end up with. (Though, if it's for an important feast, you may just want to run to the store.)

Just don't try to use this substitution for whipped cream. Instead of a lofty mountain of dairy, you'll be left with a pool of disappointment.

The Sunglasses You Should Invest in Based on Your Face Shape

A good accessory like a pair of trendy shades can instantly pull your outfit together and add an air of mystery - just look at Anna Wintour. Finding the right pair, however, is a hard task because it all comes down to your face shape. The four common facial structures are oval, heart, square, and round. Chances are you will fall into one of these categories.

To get you started, ahead we provided a general guideline of four different face shapes and tailored the frame selections accordingly. That's not to say, though, that an oval face can't sport the same pair of shades as a heart face. If you find one particular style works for you, go for it. After all, some style rules are meant to be broken.

Bella Hadid's Bringing Back the Skirt You Used to Wear With Your Abercrombie Tee

While denim will never go out of style, trends and cuts come and go. But we've got a good feeling about Bella Hadid's distressed skirt. Something tells us the throwback mini, shredded at the hem, and complete with just one button instead of a whole row, is back. While we used to throw on such a design with glittering graphic tees from Abercrombie, or yes, even Limited Too, Bella shows us the perfect way to refresh our old '90s look.

Slip into a cami and accent with matching accessories - the supermodel chose patent leather moto boots and a Givenchy bag - then hit the road. Read on to get inspired by Bella's outfit, then check out how Kim Kardashian recently wore the trend, and shop the skirt that'll fast become your go-to once again.

Gigi Hadid Is The Girl in Tommy Hilfiger's New Fragrance Ad

Gigi Hadid proves she's just as cheeky as she is gorgeous in a new campaign for Tommy Hilfiger's latest fragrance, The Girl. In the video, which you can exclusively stream here first, she plays the role of a very nautically chic ship captain. And she just happens to be bossing around a crew of hunky sailors. Gigi even proves she has some serious comedic timing when she makes the crack, "LA? Never heard of it."

"The mood of the shoot was fun yet sexy," Gigi told us via email. The actual ad campaign photos were shot by Mikael Johnson. "We created a nautical scene using huge ropes that brought an element of exaggeration. The set design was definitely very memorable."

Choosing Gigi as the face of this fragrance was a savvy move by Tommy Hilfiger. Most of us remember wearing Tommy Girl perfume during high school and college, and The Girl is the brand's version of that for millennials. With her happy-go-lucky personality and huge social media reach (she has 10.2 million fans on Instagram), Gigi is the perfect muse for this launch. In fact, the label confirmed via a press release that the scent was actually inspired by Gigi's free-spirited personality. Top notes include green pear, violet leaf, and green fig with heart notes of jasmine petals and silky muguet. It is finished with cedarwood and cashmere. The result is a fresh and fruity yet musky fragrance.

You can buy The Girl by Tommy Hilfiger Eau de Toilette at Macy's ($25-$57) in August.

A Celebrity Trainer's Weight-Loss Rule: 3 Miles or 30 Minutes

Before trainer Kit Rich became a Pilates instructor to the stars (and healthy-lifestyle ambassador for brands like Lucy), she was just a woman trying yet another crazy, extreme, or unhealthy diet in order to lose weight. "I tried everything," she recently told us, adding that she also suffered from eating disorders and body dysmorphia. "I was desperate to lose weight. So I would do, like what most women do, those freaking crazy juice diets. I would do all these extreme things, but it always brought me back to the other extreme."

Related: Kit's 30-Minute Pilates Fusion Workout

After years of yo-yo dieting, Kit finally hit on her problem: she was working out in a way that wasn't sustainable. Her solution was one that helped her lose 30 pounds and one that she still shares with her students today, whether she's teaching a private class in LA or going on tour with a musician client. Her tip? Make it manageable. Specifically, Kit says that her mantra of "three miles or 30 minutes, every day" is what helped her finally break free from weight fluctuations and keep the pounds off for good. As in: run, walk, or hike your way to three miles a day, or do a 30-minute workout instead. "I really do believe wholeheartedly that the middle road is the way to go," she says. "Anything extreme is not long-lasting."

As a former athlete, this manageable mantra helped keep Kit from burning out on her workouts when she was trying to lose weight. "I come from a background of injury, and I had knee surgery, so you can't tell me to go and take some crazy bootcamp class," she says. "Because my knee will start to hurt, and then what's going to start to happen, I'm going to freak out that I won't be able to do that for the rest of my life." Instead, just telling yourself to do something little every day can help you get a hold of your health and your weight-loss goals. "Women need to feel empowered," she says. "They need to feel like what they're doing is something that they somewhat enjoy and that they can have a grip on. And that's why I believe in this three or 30 rule."

It's Official: "La Macarena" Is Back! Watch Los del Río and Gente de Zona Performing at Premios Juventud

We bet you thought "La Macarena" stayed in the 90s only to occasionally come back at wedding receptions and parties with your family, but now that there's a new version out, you might be hearing the catchy tune and lyrics of "dale alegria a tu cuerpo, Macarena" on the radio again. Yes, you read that right. Gente de Zona has remixed the song along with the original singers, Los del Río, debuting the new version called "Más Macarena" on the stage of the 2016 Premios Juventud in Miami on July 14, and immediately releasing the song for purchase.

For those of you thinking "oh, no!," we urge to give the hit a chance. It has all the best parts of the original (the tune, the dance, the crazy lyrics about a girl cheating on her boyfriend with two men!), plus a bit of an urban feel. Watch and listen above.

Sofia Reyes's Neutral Outfit at Premios Juventud Is Simple Enough - Until You Zoom in

Sofia Reyes always manages to catch our eye with subtle details on the red carpet, and this year's Premios Juventud is no exception.

The Mexican singer, who recently performed a mini-concert on Facebook Live from our New York offices, skipped the predictable dress route and instead opted for a sexy two-piece outfit while posing for photos at Bank United Center in Miami on July 14.

But her neutral trousers and crop top combo wasn't even what stood out most. Sofia paired the show-stopping ensemble with navy pumps, dainty jewelry, a bright red manicure, and one of the most playful hairstyles of the night: a Charo-esque high ponytail held together by a retro black scrunchie. So fun! Keep scrolling for more pictures of Sofia's playful look, and then re-watch her sexy music video for "How to Love" featuring Cash Cash.

Sofia Reyes's Neutral Outfit at Premios Juventud Is Simple Enough - Until You Zoom in

Sofia Reyes always manages to catch our eye with subtle details on the red carpet, and this year's Premios Juventud is no exception.

But Wait . . . How Many Almonds Is Too Many Almonds?

Almonds are such a healthy, clean, natural snack - and so easy to mindlessly snack on by the dozen. They're delicious, filling, and loaded in MUFAs (monounsaturated fats) - that have been said to burn belly fat - as well as heart-healthy omega-3s and energizing B vitamins.

But as with all foods, there definitely can be too much of a good thing. Firstly, not many people realize what the serving size of almonds actually is (and surprisingly, it's not "this entire mugful."). The recommended serving size of almonds is actually very precise: 23. This also equates to about 1/4 cup, or a shot glass full of almonds.

So how do you know how much is too much for your diet? Check with your caloric and macronutrient needs. In each serving, there are 163 calories, 14 grams of fat, six grams of protein, and six grams of carbohydrates.

Also, be mindful of how many MUFAs you're consuming. Even healthy fats have a limit - for a 2,000-calorie diet, it's 65 grams. With one serving of almonds, you're hovering around 21 percent of your daily fat intake, and that's if you're on the 2,000-calorie program.

What does this mean? Too many servings of almonds in a day could end up causing some weight gain. So like we always say - everything in moderation (and be mindful of what you're putting in your body!). Find the balance that works for you, and eat up.

This Playboy Playmate's Photo Body Shaming a Woman at the Gym Is Wrong on So Many Levels

Model and Playboy Playmate Dani Mathers, 29, is facing backlash after sharing a photo to Snapchat that ridicules a fellow gym-goer's body. While at her gym in Los Angeles, Mathers took an unsolicited photo of a woman changing in the locker room. She captioned the photo with, "If I can't unsee this then you can't either." Moments later, Mathers shared a selfie reacting to the photo with her hand placed on her mouth, presumably in shock or disgust.

The egregious photo has since been shared by The Daily Mail and various other sources and has thus sparked a pretty enraged conversation. First of all, taken without the woman's knowledge, the photo is absolutely unacceptable and - quite frankly - maybe illegal.

On an ideological level, however, it also discourages people from going to the gym, working out, and just living their lives out of fear that an onlooker should mock them. It is body shaming at its worst.

After receiving criticism on social media, Mathers deleted the snaps and issued a public apology . . . also on Snapchat. In the video available on The Daily Mail, she simultaneously apologized while also claiming that her intentions were not to publicly share the photo. So, she still meant to body shame the woman, but she only meant to send it to her friend? She said,

"I just wanted to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted on Snapchat earlier today and let you guys know that that was absolutely wrong, and not what I meant to do. I have chosen to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know that body shaming is wrong and that's not what I'm about, that's not the type of person that I am. That photo was taken to be a personal conversation with a girlfriend, and because I am new to Snapchat, I didn't realize that I had posted it and that was a huge mistake."

Since the whole incident, Mathers has deleted all of her social media accounts apart from her Facebook page.
