Too Faced Expands Its Deliciously Scented Empire With "Papa Don't Peach"

This Flawless 45-Year-Old Model Will Make You Question Your Antiaging Routine

You might be familiar with the old saying "age ain't nothing but a number." This model is living proof of that motto.

Tokyo-based model Risa Hirako is known for showing off her flawless complexion on her Instagram feed. However, her fans are not just floored by her good looks but also by her age. According to Wikipedia, she was born in 1971, making her 45.

Many internet users are in complete disbelief that her smooth skin is that of a 45-year-old woman, but we're not shocked at all. Asian women are known around the globe for using innovative (and intensive) beauty routines to preserve their youthful glow. And while we'd definitely love to know the specific products she uses, we can imagine they are likely part of a 10-step regimen.

There are plenty of ways to care for your skin so you can age as gracefully as Risa. Even better, maintaining youthful skin doesn't have to be costly or include needles. Consistent use of SPF and incorporating antiaging serums into your routine are both great starting points, no matter how young or old you are.

No matter what Risa's beauty secrets are, there's no denying that she is absolutely gorgeous! Scroll through to see more of her viral selfies that have the internet buzzing.

Why Michael Phelps and Other Olympians Are Covered in Circular Bruises

As viewers around the world are inspired by the athletes competing in the 2016 Olympic Games, some are also a little puzzled by specific characteristics of the event. Why does the bronze medal look like highlighter? Did Ryan Lochte really bleach his hair? And what are those bizarre bruises covering Michael Phelps's ripped upper body?

We're still waiting for the International Olympic Committee to produce a themed illuminator . . . and we like to think Lochte would say "jeah!" about his transformation. However, as beauty experts, we do have answers regarding those large circular marks. Phelps and many of his fellow Olympians have turned to a form of physical therapy called cupping. Most frequently used as a spa treatment to enhance massage and reduce cellulite, it also has healing properties.

"Cupping is an ancient Chinese practice," shared Michael Shanahan, massage director at Paul Labrecque Salon and Spa. Small vessels are used to create a vacuum or suction over an area. "As a result, the skin and superficial muscle layer is drawn into and held in the cup, and are usually left on one spot for up to 15 minutes."

This skin becomes reddened due to congestion of blood flow. Some practitioners even use fire to create a stronger seal between your skin and the cups (which will often produce a deep bruise). The higher level of suction applied will increase the client's discomfort, but many describe the "pulling" sensation as soothing. The marks fade after about a week.

Many athletes swear by cupping to treat deep muscle knots, increase blood flow, and relieve pain. But just like acupuncture, the treatment's efficacy is frequently questioned. Scientific studies on cupping and its benefits have been inconclusive.

These hazy results have not prevented its global fans from cupping, however. In addition to athletes, celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, and even Justin Bieber have been spotted with the telltale marks. Shanahan explained that in addition to muscle pain, it is frequently used for issues such as migraines, bronchitis, menstrual cramps, and insomnia. "Cupping is best done by acupuncture specialists," Shanahan added.

If you're interested in trying this ancient form of therapy, please ask your doctor if cupping is right for you.

14 Times Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Willow Is the Best Without Saying a Single Word

In the late '90s, Willow Rosenberg (played by Alyson Hannigan) arose as one of the most beloved characters on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Her gradual evolution from an introverted book worm into a badass spell-casting witch - later goddess - made her more than just Buffy's damsel in distress sidekick. Willow's coming-of-age story made her super relatable and fun to watch.

Her friendship with Buffy was nothing to scoff at, either. Between battling demons and other villains, Willow served as a confidant and voice of reason for the vampire slayer. With that in mind, we've rounded up all the reasons why Willow is the kind of best friend every girl truly needs in her squad.

Everything We Know About American Horror Story Season 6

We have plenty of ideas for season six of American Horror Story, but we know precious little about what's actually coming up in the next installment of the miniseries. Creator Ryan Murphy always waits until the last possible moment to reveal any details, and this year, we're more in the dark than ever before. Having said that, we do have a few tidbits about who will be involved, plus we have teasers, a poster, and the premiere date. Here's what we know!

Dwayne Johnson's Character, Maui, Is Already 1 of the Best Parts of Moana

After getting a supercute sneak peek of Disney's newest animated movie, Moana, in January, and getting to see the first trailer in July, the Mouse House has brought us yet another look at its newest princess. In a TV spot, we get a better look at Moana as she teams up with Dwayne Johnson's character, Maui. If the movie is anything like its gorgeous trailers (which have so many beautiful shots of the ocean that it's basically a virtual vacation), it's safe to say Disney has another huge hit on its hands. Sure, there isn't always a direct English-Spanish translation, but Latin America really lets its creativity shine when choosing new movie names for its audience - almost always losing the original in the process. (Spoiler alert: not even Lost in Translation could be saved!) Read on to see which of your favorites have been hilariously brutalized.

If You've Never Considered Making Bacon on Your Own, You Will Now

Not much more can be penned about the wonders of bacon - after all, it's been adapted into just about every dish imaginable. (Chocolate-covered bacon, anyone?) A recent Imgur post from user fourthwardco is bringing it back to basics with a thorough guide to curing and smoking homemade bacon.

To properly prepare your own bacon, you'll need some pork belly, maple syrup, curing salt, brown sugar, and black pepper. After seasoning the pork belly with said spices and ingredients, you'll place the seasoned pork belly in a resealable plastic bag and let it sit in the fridge for a week. Once the curing process is complete, you'll smoke the pork belly on low heat for about four hours. Lastly, you will slice it up per your desired thickness and fry it up on a skillet.

Truthfully, it's a pretty time-intensive foodie project, but the end result looks downright mouthwatering and way better than your average store-bought bacon. For more on the whole process, see the Imgur post in full below.

I made my own bacon and it was AMAZING!

12 Celebrities Who Prove Little Sisters Are the Coolest

Do you have a younger sister? Do you often feel like she's way cooler than you are? If so, you're not alone. There could actually be a scientific explanation for why Solange Knowles's style is so different from big sister Beyoncé's, why Cara Delevingne's antics grab more headlines than her model sister Poppy, and why Kylie Jenner experiments more with her appearance than Kendall does.

Studies have shown that youngest children tend to be more free-spirited, creative, and rebellious. They are also more prone to attention-seeking behavior than their older siblings. According to Dr. Kevin Leman, a psychologist who has studied birth order since 1967, younger kids "get away with murder," as parents tend to be more lenient and tolerant after raising their first child. Because of this, little sisters are easily more outgoing, uncomplicated, and fun-loving. Does this sound like you (or your younger sibling)? Keep reading to see 12 celebrities who seem to live up to their little-sister roles.

Yes, You Can Actually Pay For Stuff With This Wand Straight Out of Harry Potter

Every Potterhead knows their secret wish is to own an actual functioning wand. Well, thanks to one company, you can possibly own a wand that functions as a working credit card.

Created by Card Cutters, a UK-based company specializing in credit processing, the Ollivander19 is a "contactless payment wand." It looks just like a wand but at the tip of it is a chip that works with near field communication (NFC) card readers. It's the same type of technology behind Apple Pay. Just hold your wand to the card reader and ta-da! A payment will be made. The Ollivander19 works with any item under £30, or about $40. You can see it all in action in the video above.

Unfortunately, you can't simply buy the Ollivander19. You need to sign up on the Card Cutters website and see if you'll be selected. The chances are pretty slim considering there are only eight in existence, according to Metro. But that is what happens, considering Mr. Ollivander did say the wand chooses the wizard - just hope this wand chooses you.

If You Still Miss Parenthood, You'll Want to Check Out This New Fall Show

If there's been a hole in your DVR that used to be filled with a weekly hourlong cry fest, then look no further - we've found the new Fall show for you! NBC's new hour-long series This Is Us already looks like a hit (and one that will serve up a healthy dose of relatable realness). Plus, it's got some serious star power behind it, and it's written by Dan Fogelman, who penned Crazy, Stupid Love, so consider us sold.

Who's Starring?

Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz

What It's About

It's an ensemble dramedy about a group of people who all have the exact same birthday and are on the verge of some major life changes as they all turn 36. Ventimiglia and Moore play a married couple about to have triplets, Hartley is an actor, Brown is on a search for his birth father, and Metz is battling an eating addiction. (It's unclear from the trailer how frequently the stories will interconnect, but I'd assume they'll all cross paths eventually).

First Impression

Ventimiglia recently compared his new show to Parenthood during an interview on the Gilmore Guys podcast, and that seems spot on after watching the trailer. There's a dearth of current shows that fit into the same genre as Parenthood, and the trailer shows promise to deliver that same emotional (if a little cheesy) punch.

When Is It On?

The show will air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC. Stay tuned for a premiere date!

1 Woman Covered Her Face With 100 Layers of a Skin Care Mask

In today's stomach-clenching version of "100 layers of X beauty product," YouTuber Jeely completely covered her face with a skin care mask. She picked black formula, which she complained doesn't dry quickly (she even used a blow dryer to help speed up the process). "It looks like my face has melted," she said. It reminded us of pleather (as in, that fake leather material).

Watching her peel it off looked incredibly painful. "OK, I think I waxed my face," she noted, pointing out tiny hairs that came off with the mask. After she showered, she admitted that her skin felt sensitive.

10 Hair Colorist Instagram Accounts That Will Brighten Up Your Feed

Hair cutting and styling can certainly be considered a form of art - but when it comes to creative expression, it doesn't get better than hair coloring.

Whether a colorist is pushing the limits of the color wheel with bright hues or just getting a client ready for Summer with some highlights, the process requires not only a keen understanding of color but also of texture, cut, and dye. The professionals who concentrate on this skill are, in many ways, the superheroes of the salon. They're part artist, part chemist, and all-around beauty guru.

But you don't have to commit to a new shade to get a glimpse of the magic. Many of the top colorists - working with all styles, textures, and hues - are sharing their favorite dye jobs on Instagram. These are the 10 you'll want (let's be real, need) to follow right now.

See "World's Biggest Git" Percy Weasley in a WHOLE New Way

In the words of Ron Weasley, Percy Weasley is, in many ways, "the world's biggest git." Of the Weasley clan, the third oldest brother is always the butt of the family jokes. He is pompous, he's an overachiever, and he famously chooses his job at the Ministry of Magic over his family. Percy might be many things, but most of all, he is misunderstood. So let's talk about Percy, who is perhaps the least endearing Weasley sibling but certainly not without his strong suits.

A recent Reddit thread explored why Percy is the way he is and delved into his motivations behind both his good and his bad choices in the Harry Potter series. He doesn't always have it easy, but considering his circumstances, things aren't quite as black and white with the former head boy as they seem. And if you really think about it, he is pretty remarkable in his own way. Redditor booksblanketsandtea brought up some pretty interesting observations.

Can we talk about how an incredibly ambitious young man likely ended up in the worst possible House for him because he was terrified of disappointing his family? Can we talk about how he'd been told his entire life that to be ambitious (to be Slytherin) was a bad thing? Can we talk about how protective he was of Ron and Ginny when they came to Hogwarts? How proud he was of Ron, for besting McGonagall's chess set (because who do you think taught Ron how to play? It certainly wasn't the twins, and I doubt either Molly or Arthur had time).

Can we talk about how Percy felt more accepted and comfortable at the Ministry - where people couldn't even remember his name - than he did with his own family, who made him the butt of practically every joke, who either looked down on his goals, or couldn't be bothered to show an interest simply because it wasn't something they themselves were keen on? (And people wonder why he sided with the Ministry over his family, over Harry - who was a complete stranger and was more easily accepted than he ever was?)

Let's talk about how maybe Gryffindor was the right House for him - because even after all this, when he was proved wrong, he had the guts to come back, to apologise to his family that he loved (and who did, of course, love him - even if they didn't really understand him). Can we talk about how brave that was? "Perfect Percy" admitting he was wrong to his Father who [he] had once idolized, and then working as a spy for the Order? Keeping that distance between he and the rest of the family in place so he could feed them info about the Ministry? Before he turned up at the last minute to help fight at the Battle of Hogwarts? About how he lost his little brother, who - if Percy had been just a minute or two later down that passageway - would have died practically hating him? About how Percy likely went the rest of his life thinking that - if given the chance - his family would rather that he had died, instead of Fred? How he himself likely wished that that had been the case? Can we talk about how Percy Weasley was, in the end, perhaps the perfect amalgamation of Slytherin and Gryffindor? Just - can we talk about Percy?

Should we give Percy a little more mercy? Maybe if Percy had been in Slytherin instead of Gryffindor, he would have been able to foster his talents differently. Maybe if he'd been able to relate to his family more and if they'd been more open to who he was despite his undeniable prat-like qualities, he would have felt closer to them despite his job at the Ministry.

But let us not forget that when it really matters, Percy comes back for his family. He bursts into the Battle of Hogwarts ready to fight alongside the rest of the Weasleys, and he does something that many people - even the beloved heroes of Harry Potter - have a hard time doing: he admits he was wrong. He initiates a reconciliation and does what he can to start to repair his relationship with his family and begin again with them all. Brave, brilliant, calculating, ambitious, and loyal. Yep, sounds like the perfect combination of a Slytherin and Gryffindor to me, too.

19 Cooking Tips From Gordon Ramsay That Will Save You From Being Told to "Eff Off"

If there's anyone we want cooking advice from, it's Gordon Ramsay. The world-renowned chef and television host never fails to entertain us or impress us with his recipes (if you've never made his beef wellington recipe, you're truly missing out). It's no surprise that the chef has an ingenious method for scrambling eggs, an odd ingredient that makes pan gravy taste better, and many more simple hacks that will make you a more skilled home cook. So don't be an "idiot sandwich," and upgrade your culinary game with his best tips and tricks (mental yelling voice optional, but encouraged).

  1. Let pancake batter rest, covered, for 15 minutes so it can thicken and create fluffier pancakes.
  2. Leave the root of the onion on while you chop, and make long horizontal slices toward the root.
  3. Rinse rice under cold water in a colander before you cook it to prevent clumps.
  4. The key to skinning fish is a sharp but flexible knife.
  5. Sharpen your knives before and after each use.
  6. Season pasta water with salt (for flavor) and olive oil (to prevent sticking) before cooking it al dente.
  7. Season raw eggplant with salt to remove bitterness, and then squeeze out the excess water.
  8. When marinating meat, gently score the fatty side so that it absorbs the marinade even more.
  9. Add sherry to paella to give it a deeper flavor.
  10. For Gordon Ramsay's best-ever scrambled eggs, add crème fraiche (plus other secret techniques, like cooking off the burner). Also, never add salt to eggs before cooking them, because it "ruins the texture and dulls the color."

  1. To cook a perfect steak, let the meat sit for 15-20 minutes so it comes to room temperature. Then, "get the pan piping hot and don't put any oil into it until that pan is smoking. Liberally season the meat, rub it with oil, and put that into the pan. Don't oil the pan; just the marinated steak. Two and a half minutes each side, take it out and let it rest," he told Bon Appetit.
  2. His most important piece of advice to home cooks? "Get out of your comfort zone."
  3. When making pan gravy, add chopped tomatoes to thicken it and give it freshness.
  4. To quickly peel a whole head of garlic, gently crush it, put it in a covered bowl, and shake for 10 seconds.
  5. To keep a clean kitchen while cooking, always keep a "waste bowl" next to you on the counter so that you don't have to make constant trips to the trash can.
  6. For perfectly minced garlic, add a pinch of salt "for abrasion, which helps break the fibers of the garlic down."
  7. Never throw out the pods from vanilla beans because there's so much flavor left in the skin. "Stick inside jars of sugar and leave to infuse."
  8. To keep herbs fresh for up to a week, keep them in a glass of water.
  9. Don't throw away scraps from fresh herbs - use them in olive oil to flavor salads, pastas, and more. "Place washed and dried stems in a bottle, cover with warmed olive oil, then seal and leave to infuse."

After Running For 15 Years, I Made This Change and Finally Lost My Belly

I started running after college to lose that Freshman 40 I was holding on to. I learned a lot along the way, like what socks prevent blisters and how to shop for a sports bra so you don't have to wear two. But what I struggled with was losing weight, specifically belly fat. And after 15 years of running and experiencing two pregnancies, that still-pudgy pooch - although a sweet reminder that I was my kids' first home - was always the thing I pinched and poked when standing in front of a mirror.

So I signed up for a half-marathon. I was convinced that all those training runs would surely slim my middle, but when I stepped on the scale, I was completely wrong. I was gaining weight because the hunger that came with those long workouts made me want to eat all the time. After the race, although I made some changes to my eating schedule to lose the weight I'd gained during training, my squishy belly wasn't budging, and it pissed me off. It wasn't like I was going to run more often or for longer distances. It was quite by accident that I figured out how running could help me ditch my mummy tummy.

One morning, I skipped the hour-long flat road run and turned into the woods near my house. I let my dog, Reuben, off leash, and we just started running. My pace was much slower because the terrain was so unpredictable. Rain had eroded away the path, creating holes, plus the slippery wooden bridges, the rocks and logs to leap over, and the hills - man, were there hills! I was huffing and puffing way more than on my previous runs, and my quads, calves, and butt were burning. I had to swing my arms more to get up those steep inclines, and trying to catch up to my dog added a little fire to my step. At the end of my 20-minute run, I felt like I did after running one hour.

After just two weeks of running those trails and those crazy hills, I felt an incredible sense of strength in my legs I hadn't experienced before in the 12 weeks I was training for the half. In the obstacle course that is the woods, my muscles were constantly guessing, since running in the woods is completely different than running on a sidewalk or a treadmill. It's like a dance because there's no monotony of movement. Every step is a little different, a little shift to one side or the other, a little shorter or longer than the one before.

Interval training had always seemed so forced when running through my neighborhood: I felt a little weird sprinting past my neighbor's house, so I skipped them and just stuck to my 9:00/9:30 minute-per-mile pace. But the hills forced me to switch up my pace, and I knew this type of training would be the key to ditching my tummy. Running this way was also really challenging to my mind. I felt a complete sense of calm afterward that I wasn't able to get to unless I did a long training run. Instant runner's high in just 20 minutes? I was floored.

And the added perk? My belly looked slimmer. I could see definition in my obliques - I had obliques! By no means am I saying I have a six-pack after a month of running in the woods, but I see now that I was pushing myself in the wrong way. I was working harder, not smarter. If you're struggling with a weight-loss plateau from running, the answer for you, too, might be found in the woods.
