Gisele Bündchen Shows Off Her Smokin' Hot Body During a Photo Shoot in Brazil
Gisele Bündchen may have retired from the runway, but she's still gracing the pages of high-profile magazines. On Thursday, Gisele was spotted at a photo shoot in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, reportedly posing for Vogue magazine; the stunner showed off her hot body in a bejeweled black one-piece swimsuit and white shorts that put her backside on display. Gisele has been spending much of the Summer in her native Brazil, and recently helped kick off the Rio Olympics by walking the longest catwalk of her career during the opening ceremony. The past few months have also included some personal milestones for Gisele and her family. The model rang in her 36th birthday just weeks before her husband, Tom Brady, turned 39, and most recently, news broke that the couple traded in their NYC condo for a $20 million luxury apartment in Tribeca.

The Best Advice On Raising Entrepreneurial Kids From The Parents Who Did It
Raising a successful child doesn't have to be hard; it just takes a little love and encouragement from parents like you. Read on to hear what out friends at Fatherly have to say about raising the ultimate entrepreneur.
Elon Musk's parents probably always thought he was "really innovative!" and Oprah's parents no doubt felt their little girl had "lots of personality!", but did either of them expect their kids to grow into world-beating entrepreneurs? Of course not, that would have been giving themselves more credit than is polite. But what about Elon's and Oprah's upbringing contributed to their future command of multiple industries (and also all the bees)?
Margot Machol Bisnow asks that question in Raising an Entrepreneur: 10 Rules for Nurturing Risk Takers, Problem Solvers and Change Makers. She interviewed dozens of people (including, full disclosure, Fatherly's co-founder) who've changed the world to find out what in the heck their parents put in their cereal. The big takeaway is that it isn't tiger moms or taskmaster dads who molded these people, but regular parents who have some unexpected tips on raising extraordinary children.
Let Your Kid Try All Their Silly Ideas
Bisnow found that a common thread among entrepreneurial kids was they grew up without fear of doing some wacky stuff - even by elementary school standards. "Even if [these kids] had to fix the mess or apologize for breaking something or screwing up, they were never punished for it," she says.
For example, John Arrow, founder of the high stakes technology troubleshooting company Mutual Mobile, had a lemonade stand growing up. But at 9 he realized billionaires don't sell lemonade, so he followed his next entrepreneurial impulse to give people what they want. He dug up an elderly neighbor's plant tried to sell it back to her. Instead of making the sale, she called his parents. But Arrow's folks weren't mad, just insistent he replant the stolen goods.
Or take the parents of Robert Stephens, founder of The Geek Squad, who put up with his annoying childhood quirk: taking stuff apart. When Stephens was 3 he removed all the doorknobs in the house and neatly laid them out on a table. It rough when your kid locks you inside the house, but that lead to a job repairing TVs at 12 and then launching a geeky computer-fixing empire. "His parents didn't punish him, they started calling him the Fix-It guy," says Bisnow. "So many of these parents recognized the things emerging in their children and nourished them." Getting in trouble may just be a byproduct of incubating that million-dollar startup idea.
Support Your Kids When Their Passions Are Different From Your Own
You might not recognize your kid's society-shifting idea, and it won't always jibe with your notion of success. You could sit little Doogie to prep for the MCATs at 10-years-old, but letting them do what they want early on may be more practical. Bisnow found that kids who went on to do big things were often allowed to pursue their hobbies. "These parents had other ideas about what they wanted for their children. But once they realized their children had a passion, they supported it."
Jon M. Chu, director of G.I. Joe Retaliation and Now You See Me 2 , was a first-generation American whose parents were from China and Taiwan and ran a restaurant in Silicon Valley. Chu was forced to take every musical lesson imaginable. He knew early on he wasn't a concert trianglist, but a born video editor. His parents hit up their techy Palo Alto patrons for used equipment and computers, which Chu used to work on all night long.
One night his mom stormed into his room, angry that he was hiding under the covers editing. "The next day she picked him up at school and said, okay, if you want to do this, you need to be the best," says Bisnow. Moral of this story: Always knock. But also, if your kids aren't going to do the thing you want, make sure they're kicking ass at the thing they want.
Don't Worry About Raising Teacher's Pets And 'A' Students
The cliche that entrepreneurial wizards drop out of Ivy League colleges has another side. A lot of those kids barely squeaked through school, ticking off their teachers, principals, and their parents in the process.
Every week, starting in kindergarten, school administrators called Benny Blanco's (then Ben Levin) mother. You might know Blanco as a Grammy-nominated one-man hit factory who was responsible for Maroon 5's "Moves Like Jagger" and Rihanna's "Diamonds." He also sucked at school. Blanco refused to sit in a circle with the other kids, and his mom's reaction was: "So?" She could have forced Blanco sit with the other kids, but he had a music teacher who saw his ability, so she let him pursue that instead.
"A lot of these kids struggled academically and the schools didn't appreciate them," says Bisnow. "It was super important to have parents who supported and praised them for excelling in things outside of school." Not only did those kids have more self-confidence doing something they loved, but they reached that Gladwellian 10,000-hour mark by the time they could drive a car - and subsequently pull right up to their lucrative career.
Apple's New Update to This Patent Proves It's Not Playing With Phone Thieves
As a company at the vanguard of modern technology, Apple applies for a lot of patents that don't always end up happening - or at least not as soon as we'd like them to. Recently, Apple updated a patent originally requested in 2010 that would use the iPhone's touch ID feature to prevent phone theft. If developed, the technology could potentially be a major breakthrough for this all-too-common crime.
It appears that Apple is hoping to use the iPhone's touch ID to covertly capture the hypothetical thief's fingerprints. However, Apple went a step further to also introduce the idea of recording the thief's voice and snap of a photo of them as they attempt to make a phone call on the stolen phone.
Though progressive, the idea does bring up many legal and technical questions. For example, how would Apple bring the fingerprints, photos, and recordings to the iPhone owner or the authorities? While there are certainly a lot of details to parse through, it's still exciting to witness the company address some of its users' concerns.

The Cutest Part of This Maternity Photo Isn't Even the Baby Bump
My sister's maternity pics...I'm cracking up 😂😂 http://pic.twitter.com/4zbiCvwyfd
- tally (@Ataliagarcia5) July 25, 2016
When Whitney Bowie and her husband, Jeremy, decided to do a maternity photo shoot, like many soon-to-be parents with pets, they included their dog, a rat terrier named Lucy, in some of the snaps. Pretty typical, right?
Well, when the Texas couple went in for one of the most standard pregnancy shots - of the zoomed-in baby bump with both mom and dad's hands resting on it - little Lucy must have felt a bit left out. As the photographer snapped, Lucy placed her paw on the belly, too.
Thankfully, Whitney's teenage sister saw the priceless photo and didn't waste time sharing it on Twitter, where it's since been retweeted 44,000 times and has more than 110,000 "likes."
We have a feeling a lot more pregnant pet owners are going to be requesting this photo from here on out.

Finally, Emoji That Reflect the Other Half of the Population
You may not have noticed, but there is a surprising lack of female emoji on our keyboards. Facebook, Apple, and Google are trying to change that - and so is the Always's #LikeAGirl campaign. For me, the discovery that most of the emoji are men was just as upsetting as not noticing in the first place. Now that we're all on the same page, how weird is it that all the professional, academic, and athletic emoji are men? Why are the only female emoji brides, girls getting haircuts, and dancing women? Thankfully, the #LikeAGirl campaign is attempting to change that. The first lady is even getting involved with her #LetGirlsLearn initiative.
Hey @Always! We would love to see a girl studying emoji. Education empowers girls around the world. #LetGirlsLearn #LikeAGirl
- The First Lady (@FLOTUS) March 8, 2016
Some of these emoji will soon exist on our keyboards, but check out the other ideas from the #LikeAGirl emoji - because, newsflash, there's not much boys can do that we can't also.
If You Don't Follow This Senior Dog Facebook Page, You're Seriously Missing Out
If you're considering "unplugging" from social media, we've got one thing that might convince you to stick around: old, adorable dogs. The Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary Facebook page is probably the purest place on the internet, and the elderly canine rescue will make you smile every time you log on to your timeline. Located in Mount Juliet, TN, Old Friends is a sanctuary dedicated to finding "forever fosters" for dogs who are over the hill. Luckily for us (and the page's 1.4 million - and counting! - followers) the sanctuary posts sweet updates multiple times per day.
While a property filled with old dogs looking for homes might sound depressing, Old Friends is the exact opposite; there's nothing sweeter than seeing elderly pooches enjoying retirement together. From Leo, the shaggy lady killer, to Mildred, the one-eyed Pug who is running for president, you'll grow to love and look forward to seeing these pups-at-heart on your Facebook page.
Don't believe us? Well check out these adorable posts from Old Friends and the overwhelmingly positive responses from formerly jaded social media users. You'll click "like" faster than you can say "awww." (You're welcome.)
Can't Find Your Hot Rollers? You Can Actually Curl Your Hair With Marshmallows
An array of DIY methods for curling hair has emerged in the beauty community. Tampons, socks, and pencils have all been used as substitutes for traditional curling irons. Until now, we thought we'd seen it all when it came to strange alternatives. Leave it to Bunny Meyer (known on YouTube as Grav3yardgirl) to take the trend to the next level.
Bunny has a popular series of videos where she tests out weird beauty products, but what started out as a "Does this product work?" video ended up going in a different direction when she didn't have the curlers necessary to try out a hair dryer bonnet. Looking around for an alternative, Bunny finds marshmallows. Despite her better judgment, she decides to use the sugary treats like hot rollers (after all, they're the same shape!).
It seems like a bad idea to stick a sugary snack in your hair and then apply heat, but Bunny is committed to showing her viewers the best and worst of beauty. To our surprise, the hack worked quite well and resulted in gorgeously glossy ringlets! That said, we can only imagine what marshmallows would do to our locks in the Summer humidity (though maybe the sugar would add a bit of hold?). Watch this video and try not to laugh while Bunny worries that her hair will take on the texture of s'mores.
4 Foolproof Ways to Make Warrior 1 Feel Easier
Why do the most basic yoga poses feel so hard? If you cringe every time your instructor asks you to step your foot forward and rise into Warrior 1, here are four things you can do to make this simple - yet challenging - pose not burn your thighs so much.
Square Your Hips
Proper alignment isn't just for yoga geeks - it'll make this pose feel way more comfortable. Check to make sure your hips are square with your feet, which should be hip-distance apart even though your toes are facing different directions in the pose. Check your stance by starting with your feet underneath your hips, then step your left foot directly behind you, turn your toes out slightly so the foot is at a 45-degree angle, and lunge with the right knee directly over your right ankle. If you bend forward, you should see your left foot - it shouldn't be hiding behind your right foot. Here's another way to think about it: pretend there's a thick imaginary line drawn down the middle of your mat and your heels should be on either side of the line. Pull the right hip back and the left hip forward to ensure that your pelvis is facing forward and not unnecessarily twisting, which can cause strain on your back and hips.
Engage This, Relax That
If your lower back feels constricted, tuck your tailbone and draw your navel toward your spine, to decrease the curve of your lower back, and actively engage your core. We don't want to see a banana back! This should also take pressure off your front knee if you're feeling pain there. Scan your body for unnecessary tension and release it if you can. Be sure your shoulders are relaxed and away from your ears, and your front toes aren't clenching the mat for dear life. If your shoulders hurt when you touch your palms together overhead, separate your hands, or rest your hands on your hips. Same goes for your front thigh. It's tough to hold it parallel to the floor, so if your quad is on fire and you can't stand it, raise your hips slightly to release some tension off the muscle.
Gaze Up and Breathe
Making a pose feel easier can be just as simple as wanting it to feel easier. Focusing on the breath by counting each inhalation and each exhalation, and accentuating your upward gaze can make you feel more energetic, and it can take your mind off the discomfort you may feel, so those five breaths fly by. Actively reaching the hands as high as possible can also make you feel lighter.
Off the Mat
Strengthening your quads outside of your yoga studio can also make Warrior 1 feel almost relaxing, so you can enjoy it as a hip flexor stretch. Running up hills, cycling, and doing squats, lunges, and step-ups will give your lower body the strength and stability to make Warrior 1 feel like a breeze.

30 Snaps That Prove Ashley Graham Is Ridiculously Sexy
Model Ashley Graham made headlines thanks to prime placement in this year's Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The size-14 stunner's ad campaign for swimsuit retailer SwimsuitsForAll was also the first-ever plus-size swimsuit ad to run in the annual issue in 2015. Ashley has been a working model since the early 2000s and has become something of an advocate for introducing more plus-size models in the fashion industry and promoting body-positivity in general. Most recently, she steamed up the video for DNCE's "Toothbrush," starring as Joe Jonas's love interest.
In an interview with POPSUGAR Fashion, the beauty said of her recent success, "Finally the industry is recognizing what many of us have always known: curves are sexy. I hope this sparks more momentum for women to flaunt their curves, whether it's at the pool or while on vacation or as part of a major ad campaign. The world is ready to see more curves in bikinis!" We'll say. In honor of Ashley's success (and her all-around badassness in general), we've rounded up some of her sexiest swimsuit snaps, all courtesy of her personal Instagram. Boomer Phelps Cheers On His Famous Dad as He Cohosts America's Got Talent
Michael Phelps can now add cohost to his résumé. On Wednesday, the retired Olympic swimmer took on a new challenge and served as a host on America's Got Talent alongside Nick Cannon. During his appearance, Michael opened up about what it felt like to win his 23rd gold medal at the Rio Olympics, saying, "At that moment is when all the emotions came out. Remember When These News Anchors Couldn't Stop Laughing After Interviewing Ryan Lochte?
Ryan Lochte has been in the news a lot recently for both good and bad reasons. After winning one gold medal at the Rio Olympics earlier this month, the swimmer made headlines again for claiming that he and three other teammates were robbed at gunpoint after a night out in the Brazilian city. He went on to admit that he fabricated his story, blaming the incident on a language barrier. But if you want a break from the controversial headlines, then look no further than his throwback interview he did with FOX 29's Good Day Philadelphia in April 2013. After talking to news anchors Sheinelle Jones and Mike Jerrick about how he was training for the Rio Games, he also touched on his short-lived E! reality series, What Would Ryan Lochte Do? He delivers some hilarious one-liners during their chat, including, "If you're a man at night, you gotta be a man in the morning." After the interview, the anchors burst into contagious fits of laughter, with Sheinelle's fake eyelashes even falling out of place from her tears. Just try not to LOL while reliving the whole thing above.
You'll Never Text and Drive Again After Watching This Powerful Video
No matter how many times we hear it, some of us still check our phones while driving. It's a hard habit to break, even though we know what the consequences are. One new video will make you never text and drive again, as actors who can't let go of this habit meet someone whose life changed thanks to a driver with this reckless routine.
Created by Summer Break, a TV show sponsored by AT&T, the video focuses on actors from the show talking about how much they use their phone while driving. Most of them say they just text and drive or just send some Snapchats. A few of them even point out that they only do it at stop signs or red lights. The video then takes a turn when Jacy Good enters the room. She tells each one of them how a driver who was texting caused another car to swerve and hit her family's car. The result left her parents dead and Good "fighting for [her] life" for two months. Good now lives with a partially paralyzed body. After the actors hear the story, many of them pledge to never look at their phones again.
The video, posted to Facebook on Aug. 23, has more than 26,000 reactions, 100,000 shares, and 4.5 million views. It's no question why; it sends a powerful message reminding all of us that any action on our phones can change lives forever. Watch it above.

These Cheese-Inspired Nail Art Designs Are Aged to Perfection
If you're someone who can't imagine living life without cheese, you are not alone. But sometimes, pesky issues like lactose intolerance and blood pressure can get in the way of an affair with aged cheddar. Finally, there is a solution that won't interfere with one's health: cheese nail art. It's a sharp look to debut at your next wine and cheese party.
This delicious beauty trend is aged to perfection, with #cheesenails yielding over 100 photos on Instagram. We're so grate-ful (sorry!) that Tastemade Japan recently revealed the secret to achieving cheesy nail art in a quick video. Starting with acrylic nails that feature holes and uneven tips, the manicurist painted on a bright yellow nail polish. After adding dimension with dark orange and white (to contour and highlight the holes, natch), she finished off with a glossy topcoat, revealing nails fit for a Swiss queen. Read on to watch Tastemade Japan's video and see more examples of the delectable trend. Just beware: should you try this look, you'll have to brace yourself for a slew of un-brie-lievably cheesy jokes.
The Korean "Jamsu" Beauty Trend Is the Key to Perfectly Matte Skin
Usually we dip our face in water to cleanse, so we were intrigued by Vogue's report on a new makeup-setting trend in Korea. According to writer Monica Kim, women overseas are obsessed with jamsu, which roughly translates to "submerging." It works similarly to baking, but adds a mind-boggling step of dunking your face in water.
The technique seems counterintuitive: after applying primer, concealer, and foundation to clean, dry skin, you pat handfuls of baby powder (or your preferred loose powder) on top. Once your face has taken on a ghoulish cast, plunge it into a sink filled with cool water for approximately 30 seconds. You'll find that after you dry off, your complexion looks flawless.
Kim noted that after trying this out, her skin not only remained incredibly matte, but even and smudge-free for hours. It even made it easier to apply other makeup on top. She also remarked that if you'd prefer not to go for a mini-dip, you can use a copious amount of facial mist to dampen your powder instead.
Though jamsu sounds a little bizarre, we'd willingly try it! Anything that keeps our makeup smudge-proof is worth testing, especially during the most humid time of year.

Johnny Depp Donates the First Installment of Amber Heard's $7 Million Divorce Settlement to Charity
Amber Heard has made good on her promise to donate her $7 million divorce settlement from Johnny Depp to charity. In a recent statement to People, the 30-year-old actress said, "As described in the restraining order and divorce settlement, money played no role for me personally and never has, except to the extent that I could donate it to charity and, in doing so, hopefully help those less able to defend themselves." She went on: "As reported in the media, the amount received in the divorce was $7 million and $7 million is being donated. This is over and above any funds that I have given away in the past and will continue to give away in the future."
Amber added that the $7 million will be divided amongst charities with "a particular focus to stop violence against women," including the ACLU and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, where she has volunteered for over a decade. "I know these organizations will put the funds to good use and look forward to continuing to support them in the future," she concluded in her statement. "Hopefully, this experience results in a positive change in the lives of people who need it the most."
Amber got her wish on Wednesday when Johnny donated the first installment of her settlement to the charities. His rep released a statement to TMZ, saying, "Following Amber Heard's announcement that her divorce settlement was to be divided equally and gifted to Children's Hospital of Los Angeles and the American Civil Liberties Union, two exceptionally deserving and important charities, Johnny Depp has sent the first of multiple installments of those monies to each charity in the name of Amber Heard, which when completed will honor the full amount of Ms. Heard's pledge. Ms. Heard's generosity in giving to these wonderful causes is deeply respected."
News that Johnny and Amber had settled their divorce broke on Aug. 16; the couple, who was married for 15 months, gave a statement to TMZ (which she later retracted) calling their relationship "intensely passionate and at times volatile, but always bound by love," adding, "Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm." Amber also reportedly withdrew her request for a domestic violence restraining order against Johnny, which she filed back in May.

Connie Britton May Be Leaving Nashville in the Middle of Season 5
Nashville has seen a lot of change in the past few months. The show is moving to CMT this Fall, and a number of regular cast members aren't going with it. While Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere are both confirmed for season five, Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Britton has only signed on for 10 episodes. The new season, which begins production in September, is scheduled for a full 22 episodes. Let's hope she gets fully on board; we can't imagine Nashville without her!
Jessica Alba Just Channeled Her Never Been Kissed Days in a Dress Fit For Barbie
It took about two seconds for us to connect Jessica Alba's most recent interview look to one of her first movies. Channeling her days as Barbie in Never Been Kissed, the actress and entrepreneur, who is promoting both her new movie Mechanic: Resurrection and the Honest Company Hair Care, stepped out to appear on The Today Show on Aug. 25 wearing a fuchsia maxi dress that could have been plucked straight from the doll's closet.
We know Jessica was feeling inspired by the 90s, and her time spent on set with Drew Barrymore, because she paired her bright look with silver platform sandals and hoops - hoops! Not convinced yet? Her makeup featured golden skin and a frosty pink lipstick (our guess is that's her own Truly Kissable Lip Crayon Sheer in Blossom Pink), and her honey brown hair was pulled into a high ponytail. Need we say more? Scroll ahead for more photos and to get her look from head to toe.
