The Beautiful Way Lupita Nyong'o's Career Has Come "Full Circle" With Queen of Katwe

Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o is playing a significant role in Disney's Queen of Katwe - she stars as Harriet, the mother of real-life Ugandan chess prodigy Phiona Mutesi, and she's also a significant figure in the life of the young actors whose mother she's portraying. I sat down with Nyong'o at the Toronto International Film Festival, where the film had its premiere, and she talked about being able to play a motherly role both on and off screen to her movie kids, who had never acted or done press before the film. We also chatted about the full-circle moment this film represents, since she worked with director Mira Nair in 2006's The Namesake as an intern, and I even got a question in about her next big movie after this: Star Wars: Episode VIII . . . though that doesn't mean she answered it.

POPSUGAR: Had you heard of Phiona's story before this film?
Lupita Nyong'o: No, I hadn't, not at all.

PS: When you got involved, what kind of research did you do?
LN: I got the script, and 10 pages in, I put it down; I was weeping. I wrote to my representatives and said, "I have to make the film." I was so inspired by it, I just felt like it was such a wonderful story, and one that we rarely hear from the African continent - an uplifting, heartwarming story with very layered, complex characters, and I just had to be a part of it. And Mira [Nair] directing it, I knew it was in very good hands, and I could trust that there would be an authenticity and artistic nuance that I would be happy to be associated with. I read the article that Tim Crothers wrote, I read the book, I watched Phiona, all sorts of YouTube videos - I did as much as I could before getting to Uganda. But to me, getting to Uganda was the meat of my research.

PS: So meeting Phiona and her family - what was that experience like?
LN: It was very informative and very inspiring as well. Harriet is a very grounded, quiet, and warm individual. Very guarded as well, so just recognizing that in her was something that I wanted to honor in my performance of her. She has a very deep voice, and I was marveled by it, and she sings very beautifully. Just learning from her what her life was like was great. Even just learning what games she played when she was a child and things like that . . . it gave me a good sense of who she was. It's a rare privilege to be able to talk to the person you're about to represent in the movie. And one that I was very happy to have.

PS: And the kind of person she is in real life makes for a complex character on screen. When we meet her, she's lived a hard life and is preparing her children for a hard life; were there things about her that you related to?
LN: Oh, yeah. She's a very relatable person. I've had a very different life, a way more privileged life. But growing up in Kenya, slum life was not far away. I had family that lived in slums, so I visited them often, and so I've seen and interacted with abject poverty. But I also know that because of that, poverty is not the definition of the people that live there. So, for Harriet, she is more than just her circumstances. She had a sense of humor, you know? There were things she'd say about her daughter, ways she'd talk about experiences she had with Phiona and Night, that reminded me of experiences I've had with my parents, or conversations my siblings would have had with my parents. She's very, very relatable.

PS: When you don't have children of your own but play a mother, where do you draw the motherly qualities from?
LN: Well, I was lucky to have her [Harriet]. So that was my first point of reference. She was the person that led me to the version of Harriet that I played. And it was also about just opening up to the children. It was very daunting to think that I would have to be the mother of these four children, and these actors, most of whom had not acted before, and somehow be the leader, both creatively and in the world of make-believe.

For me, it was about spending individual time with each child, and winning their trust, and actually forming a bond with them off screen, so that we could appear as a cohesive family once we were on screen. The little boy, baby Ivan [Jacobo], who played Richard - he was only 2 when we shot, and he spoke no English, and so the first time he was out in my arms, he wanted nothing to do with me because he didn't trust me. So I had to learn Luganda. I had to pick up the basics of Luganda just so I could win his trust, you know? Every day, I was learning as much as possible to be able to have a one-on-one relationship with him. But then Madina Nalwanga, who plays Phiona, she's such an absorbent, warm girl, and she'd never acted before, but she was a dancer, and she had that discipline of a dancer, and she was full of curiosity. She'd sold corn in her past, in many ways she had a similar life to Phiona Mutesi, and I asked her to teach me how she would go and buy ingredients for a typical Ugandan meal and how to cook it. And so my whole onscreen family, we went to the market and watched Madina do her thing, and we went back to her house and she taught me how to make a Ugandan meal. So I think those things, that work, bonding with these particular children, really opened my heart to the idea of being a mother, and before I knew it, I was fiercely protective of them! Even on set, making sure that they drank enough water, were sitting down when they had a chance, and all that. I guess it's there - whether you're a mother or not.

PS: And now that you're doing press with them, are you playing that role here?
LN: Most definitely. I went through this crazy experience when I was 30, and it was so much for me. And so I know - I know what world they've come from, and I know for me, with all the privilege, how foreign and strange it was to be suddenly the object of everyone's attention. So I am trying everything to prepare them for this wild, wild world of red carpets and interviews.

Image Source: Getty / Alberto E. Rodriguez

PS: And it's still relatively recent for you.
LN: TIFF was my coming-out party, and now I get to usher Madina and Martin [Kabanza] through this. So it's a very sentimental feeling, to be able to pass the baton on. It's also very practical and I feel very honored to have that opportunity - to actually affect them.

PS: You were the intern for The Namesake, another Mira Nair film! When you signed on for this, did you make that connection with her?
LN: Well, me and Mira have been close since - her husband and my father have been friends since they were in university, so it's a family affair! My father never told me; I didn't know that my father had any connection to Mira, until I was looking for internships in undergrad. He says, "Oh, I have a friend who is married to a filmmaker, her name is Mira Nair, have you heard of her?" And I was like, "Oh my goodness, I can't believe you've been keeping this from me all these years!" So when I interned with her, it was great to have that experience, to work so near her. I watched early cuts of it, I got her lots of tea - but then, the next year, she has a film lab, Maisha, in Uganda. They invited me to be a part of their administrative team for that film lab, and then I ended up in one of the student films, so I had had that experience in her world, and then this came along. So she's someone I have looked up to and respected, and I deeply, deeply love and admire. So for her to send me an email saying, "I wrote this with you in mind" . . . it's full circle.

PS: I also have to ask about your next film with Disney . . . Star Wars: Episode VIII.
LN: You know you're not going to get anything!

PS: I know, but I would be fired if I didn't try.
LN: I'm not telling you a thing!

This Math Problem Will Make You Question Everything You Ever Knew About Algebra

Math isn't everyone's best skill - and even those who are good at it are questioning everything after trying this algebra problem.

The question originally went viral in Japan, after a study discovered that only 60 percent of 20-somethings could actually solve it. Are you already feeling frustrated and hopeless at trying to know what the answer is? Watch the video below, posted by YouTube user MindYourDecisions, a popular math puzzle channel. In it, Presh Talwalkar, the mastermind behind this question, will guide you to the right answer.

As you can see, not even a calculator can help you, as it will read the problem wrong and arrive at the answer of 9. To solve it correctly in a calculator, you need to write it out like this: 9-3/(1/3) + 1, which will lead you to 1 as the correct answer. The problem tests your knowledge of PEMDAS, the order of operations formula, which says you must get to the answer by following these steps in this order: parentheses, exponents, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction. In this question, that means dividing 3 by the 1/3 first, which is the same as 3x3. That will then lead you to 9-9+1. From there, 9-9=0 + 1 = 1. Ta-da!

If you arrived at 3, 7, or 9 as your answer, you're not alone. Most people have forgotten how to use PEMDAS or interpret the fraction of 1/3 the wrong way. Still not feeling much of a challenge? Try this other math question that not even parents could solve.

Long-Lost Letter From a Dying Mom to Her Daughter Was Just Found 15 Years Later

Gordon Draper runs a secondhand bookstore in Bishop Auckland, England, and he recently discovered an emotional note inside a book that he knew was going to bring him to tears. The letter was written from a dying mother addressed to her daughter, Bethany, and was found inside an envelope packaged with an old photo of a mother and a daughter.

"Bethany (My little treasure)
If your dad is reading this to you It is because I have died and gone to heaven to live with the angels. . My chest was very poorly and I had an operation to make it better but it didn't work. I will always be in the sky making sure you are alright and watching over you. So when you see a bright star like in the nursery rhyme Twinkle Twinkle Little Star that's me. Be a good girl and live a long happy life your dad and Granda will look after you and take you to school. I will always love you and don't let anyone tell you its wrong to talk about me because its not. I hope you don't forget me because I'll always be your mam. Lots of hugs and kisses.
Goodbye
Mam. xxx
P.S I'm depending on you to look after Rosie for me now. Don't forget her will you not."

"I just thought I have to do something with it," Draper said when he found the note. "Hopefully we will find this Bethany to hand her it back. My only wish at the moment is to get it back to its rightful owner." Draper's wish came true and Bethany Gash, now 21 years old, said it meant "the world" that he cared so much to return the letter to her. She said that her mother, Lisa, passed away in 2001, but before she got sick, she'd bought a lot of books in Draper's shop.

The letter must have been lost while they were moving homes and Bethany "never thought" she'd see it again. But in a Serendipity-esque moment, she was reunited with this tear-jerking memory from her past. "When I read the letter itself, it feels like an arrow is piercing straight through my heart," Draper said. "People don't always get the opportunity to say goodbye and through finding and returning the letter, I felt as though I was part of the farewell."

Here's Why Right Now Is the Best Time to Buy an iPad

During Apple's big announcement on Sept. 7, the company's CEO, Tim Cook, focused on the highly anticipated iPhone 7, with little mention of the iPad. As it turns out, however, there are some exciting changes in store for Apple's tablets.

The most notable improvement is the increase of storage on the iPad Air 2, from 16GB to 32GB at no additional cost, which comes as a surprise considering the company's notoriously high prices. This means the iPad Air 2, previously listed for $399 for 16GB of data, will stay at that same price with double the amount of data.

Meanwhile, the iPad Pro will also be available at a slightly lower price. While the 32GB iPad Pro for both the 12.9- and 9.7-inch models will remain the same, the ones with 128GB and 256GB of data will be $50 and $100 less, respectively. Given these new findings, now seems like as good a time as any to invest in a tablet.

8 Reasons You Can - and Should - Enjoy Eating Plantains

For many Caribbean and Latin American households, plantains are a sort of dietary superhero. The starchy fruit is eaten in many different forms: ripe, fried to make sweet platanos maduros, or flattened and then fried to make crispy tostones. Any plantain enthusiast will tell you that they're all pretty damn delicious.

Aside from tasting amazing, of course, plantains are also a great source of many (perhaps unexpected) nutrients and vitamins. While it's still wise to enjoy their fried iteration in moderation, in general, the fruit just might exceed the benefits of its counterpart, the banana. Read on to find out why.

  1. Plantains are a rich source of energy. One cup of raw plantain can carry up to 181 calories. This not only makes it a fulfilling fruit, but also a hearty meal addition on the cheap.
  2. They are rich in magnesium, which plays a very important role in your energy, blood sugar levels, and bone strength.
  3. According to the USDA, plantains carry nearly 2,000 IU of vitamin A, way more than bananas, which carry a mere 76 IU. Vitamin A is essential for your vision, dental health, and your overall immune system.
  4. To no surprise, they also offer much more vitamin C than bananas; plantains carry up to 32.9 mg and bananas 10.3 mg. Vitamin C is effective at protecting your immune system and warding off infections and harmful free radicals.
  5. With around 900 mg of potassium, one plantain can amount for nearly 20 percent of your daily intake need.
  6. They're great for pregnant women! Plantains contain a good amount of folates - about 52 mcg - that help support healthy pregnancies.
  7. Plantains are considered a high-fiber fruit, meaning they aid digestion and maintain regularity.
  8. They're a healthier alternative to potatoes. Try making tostones if you're craving potato chips - they'll be even more satisfying and have more nutritional benefits!

20 Beautiful Bronde Color Ideas to Inspire Your Fall-Weather Makeover

While beauty girls have many reasons to love Fall, one of our favorites is that we get to use the season as an excuse to switch up our style. We pull our best vampy lipsticks out of our stashes, all things pumpkin spice are added to our routines, and we add a bit more of brooding color to our hair. If you're not quite brave enough to try out smoky lilac strands, consider testing out the more natural - but equally beautiful - dye trend known as bronde hair.

Bronde is characterized by the incorporation of glowing blond tones into brunette hair, but this is not your traditional highlighted look. The style is typically achieved using balayage, in which color is "swept" on to the hair strand by strand. This melds the hues together, creating a more natural, sun-kissed effect that looks neither definitively blond or brunette.

While it's usually women with brown- or black-toned hair who opt to test-drive the bronde trend, blondes love it too - it adds dimension to "tired-looking" color. Not only will your hair look healthy and alive after your salon appointment, but just glancing in the mirror at your new style will make you feel ready to conquer the Fall season. Keep reading for some of our favorite examples of bronde hair from Instagram when you read on.

What I Did to Get (Permanent) Eyebrows on Fleek

It's a beauty woe that's all too familiar. It started in middle school, when I couldn't stand to look at the tiny feather boas sprouting above my eyes. Gwen Stefani was rocking pink parentheses, and I looked like Harrison Ford. I had to tweeze them. Because, you know, when you're in middle school you make responsible and wise decisions. Little did I know that tweezing was a gateway to overtweezing. I ended up looking like Clara Bow when all I wanted was a clean Audrey Hepburn.

Eventually I stared at my superskinny arches and realized that (believe me, I tried) there was little waxing or threading could do to help my already barely there brows. I watched YouTube videos of women filling in theirs like they'd been doing it since the dawn of man. But I wasn't exactly a makeup connoisseur. Probably more like a festival face-painter . . .

But I turned to makeup nonetheless - pencils for sketching my misaligned arches, powders for filling in those sexy bald spots, gels to keep unruly hairs in line, and waxes for building up color. Do you know how much time that takes? If I'm being honest, it takes up most of my morning routine. I could shave my entire body faster than it takes to create one perfectly arched brow.

After all that time each morning, I still found myself catching reflections of them in the rearview mirror. I looked like I'd passed out at a party too early and got attacked by a Sharpie. I had to switch up my morning eyebrow-creating routine. "Eyebrows" and "trial and error" are now so synonymous to me that I fear the bad brow days and cherish the good like loved ones.

While, naturally, perusing #eyebrowsonfleek on Instagram, I discovered microblading. The clouds opened above me, and light poured down on my thirsty arches. My brow-brush-wielding hands prayed for a paid vacation. So I decided to look into the technique.

This alternative tattooing method produces semipermanent results. However, unlike the block-like and harsh traditional eyebrow tats, microblading creates subtle, natural-looking brows by mimicking the strokes of eyebrow hairs.

Microblading requires a manual tool featuring several tiny needles in a row to deposit dye into the dermal second layer of the skin. The pen-like device yields amazingly natural-looking arches because the needles etch hyperprecise strokes that actually look like your brow hairs. Or, in my case, my would-be hairs.

Needless to say, I was intrigued, so when I got the opportunity to visit brow specialist Piret Aava for microblading, I decided to take the plunge and get my eyebrows tattooed. What? Tiny tattoos are in style. It's 2016. And I needed some fly eyebrows, stat.

An Extremely Rare Harvest Moon Eclipse Is Happening Today

An extremely rare lunar event will take place on the evening of Sept. 16, and if you miss it, you might not be able to catch it again until 2024. On this night, the harvest moon - the full moon nearest to the start of Fall - will rise and then experience a subtle eclipse, referred to as a penumbral eclipse. The result is a large moon, oftentimes referred to as a supermoon, that temporarily looks like it has a spooky fog obscuring it.

While the moon will still look special for those living in North America, they will not be able to see the actual eclipse as it will start to take place by 1 p.m. EDT. That does, however, mean that countries in the Eastern hemisphere will get to witness the exciting eclipse in addition to the full harvest moon.

Many are comparing the event to other supermoon eclipses witnessed in the last few years. Look ahead to get an idea of what it will look like. You can also see anything you missed from Slooh's live stream of the lunar eclipse.

8 Copycat Starbucks Recipes Done Healthy

It's hard to resist the allure of Starbucks - especially when everywhere you turn, another shop pops up. And while it's OK for the occasional indulgence, our stance is to steer clear of the twin-tailed mermaid. The sheer amount of sugar contained in its coffee drinks alone makes it a daily habit that is worth rethinking.

But that doesn't mean you have to go without. What's life without a Frappuccino, after all? Here are some of your favorite Starbucks recipes that can easily be made at home, which will not only save you money, but will dramatically cut back on fat, calories, and sugar, too.

If You're in Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease Hell, You're Not Alone

My 3-year-old had a fever on Thursday night, spent Friday on the couch watching Cars on repeat while refusing to eat anything but applesauce, and woke up Saturday morning with red spots in the back of his mouth. If you have a child under the age of five, you probably already know that I spent the weekend in hand, foot, and mouth disease hell, and apparently I'm not the only one. My deskmate at the office's son had it last month, the lady at the nail salon said a few of her clients' kids got it, a friend told me she overheard a group of moms lamenting about it at the gym, and a woman I met at a birthday party sympathized with me since her toddler had just gotten over it. It's not a coincidence that it's going around; the virus, which usually starts with a fever followed by painful sores in the mouth and a skin rash on the hands and feet, is most common in the Summer and early Fall and is, you guessed it, extremely contagious.

HFMD, not to be confused with hoof and mouth disease or foot and mouth disease, lives in saliva and mucus, which, as luck would have it, a toddler is highly skilled at wiping on furniture, clothing, people, and various other objects with reckless abandon. It is also spread through feces (yes, poop). As disgusting as it may be, parents of small children know that poop is not just neatly contained to diapers and toilets, so you're in pretty close proximity to potentially infected fecal matter on a regular basis. And since there are no drugs to prevent the virus or to stop it once you have it, you have no choice but to just deal with it. And by deal with it, I mean slowly lose your mind while living in fear that you, too - or worse, your other child/ren - will contract it as well.

The CDC recommends hand washing, disinfecting toys and frequently touched surfaces, and avoiding close contact with people who have HFMD to help prevent infection and spreading. Have you ever tried to stop a 3-year-old from putting their hands in their mouth and then touching things? That's basically all they do, all day. And close contact is essentially a requirement of having small children, so these suggestions are probably more effective at getting a laugh out of parents of toddlers than they are at actually stopping the spread of the virus.

It shouldn't be surprising that in the last three days I've gone through three containers of Clorox disinfecting wipes, two bottles of Purell hand sanitizer, and an entire jug of Mrs. Meyers hand soap refill. I've done approximately 17 loads of laundry and spent roughly five hours cleaning every surface of my house in an attempt to contain the virus. I probably would have become even more obsessive with my disinfecting routine, but a solid portion of each day also had to be spent keeping my 6-month-old as far away from my infected 3-year-old as possible.

But of course all these efforts may prove futile, because our son was probably contagious before we even knew he had the disease and he'll still be contagious after his mouth blisters have cleared up and he's back in preschool. According to the CDC, people that are infected can be contagious for weeks after symptoms go away. And worse, you can be infected and possibly not even know it since "some people, especially adults, may not develop any symptoms, but they can still spread the viruses to others." So basically, you're screwed even if you sealed off your child's bedroom and locked them in there for a week without contact.

And if you, like me, were finding solace in the notion that once your child gets HFMD, they'll develop immunity to any further infections, think again. Different viruses can cause HFMD, so if your kid initially got it by way of the common coxsackievirus A16, you could be in for round two of sterilizing all the things if enterovirus 71 or coxsackievirus A6 show up at preschool.

I can't be sure just yet that my crazy-making efforts to prevent HFMD from spreading to myself and the two other members of my household have been effective, but there is hope that this unpleasant childhood disease will one day be wiped out like chickenpox. Research is being done on a vaccine approved in China, where there were more than 9 million cases of HFMD between 2008 and 2013.

So while we wait for the vaccine to make its way stateside, at least all parents of toddlers can come together and commiserate. And wash our hands.

The 1 Style Trick Kate Middleton's Been Hiding Up Her Sleeve

Kate Middleton's never had a blue period - she's always worn the color, and that's definitely not a bad thing. While the duchess has pretty much experimented with the whole rainbow, she routinely comes back to crisp cobalt coats, navy suit sets, and shades that fall at the ends of the spectrum, like periwinkle or indigo.

Why blue and not green or red you might wonder? Blue is the duchess's power color - it's the hue that makes her glow with confidence, whether she's walking the red carpet or stepping out for a public appearance, making a statement on the street. Needless to say, Kate's worked it in countless different ways, making us realize just how beneficial it is to find our own power color and run with it.

Read on to see all of the unique ways Kate's showed off the blue section of her wardrobe, and let it inspire you to experiment with your own favorite tone.

New Study Confirms That Kids Get Their Intelligence From Mom

You have your mother to thank for all the great things you've accomplished. Our friends at YourTango discuss a study that traces intelligence back to your very own mama.

Hear that, dads?

You have more to thank your mother for than your perfect nose and that Amazon gift card you still have in your night table drawer. (Seriously! Use the damn thing, already!)

According to a study, all your smarts come from your mama, whether you like it or not.

Let's break down the science for those (like me, who hated biology class) who may be a little rusty.

Women have the XX chromosome and men have the XY chromosome. A chromosome is like a hard drive, that lives in our cells. It transports our genes to our offspring.

And according to this study, our intelligence comes straight from those really important X chromosomes; and since our mothers have TWO of those bad boys, it's twice as likely our intelligence comes from our maternal side.

Don't worry, dads! Your effort isn't for naught!

The same study suggests that the XY chromosomes contribute to the physical aspect of your children. Of course, these tests were all done on mice, but there's a pretty good chance this information is accurate for humans, too.

According to Psychology Spot, "Those with an extra dose of maternal genes developed a bigger head and brain, but had little bodies. Conversely, those with an extra dose of paternal genes had small brains and larger bodies."

So. Many. Jokes. But I won't. I can't. I won't!

But it's not ALL science that helps make us geniuses:

"The importance of the emotional relationship for the development of the brain has been demonstrated by researchers at the University of Washington, who revealed for the first time that a secure bond and the love of the mother are crucial for the growth of some parts of the brain. These researchers have analyzed for seven years the way mothers relate with their children and have found that when supported emotionally their children and adequately gratified their intellectual and emotional needs, at age 13 the hippocampus of the kids was 10% greater than that of children of mothers who were emotionally distant. It is worth mentioning that the hippocampus is an area of the brain associated with memory, learning and stress response."

So, before you go yelling at your mom for replying to the Nigerian prince who emailed her, remember: You share the same genes. That same Nigerian prince will be in YOUR future, too!

His list is so delicious and creative, you're probably already hitting print and getting ready to display it on your fridge and reference it as often as possible.

Clever Dog Helps Rescue Puppy Abandoned in a Pile of Garbage

Dogs are loyal to a fault, and not only to their humans, but to other dogs as well. Take Poppy, for example. When she and her human were on a walk recently, Poppy knew there was a puppy in danger underneath a pile of garbage, and she wouldn't leave until her human pulled the puppy out. A post shared on Dublin, Ireland, SPCA's Facebook page tells of Poppy sniffing out the week-old puppy that had been abandoned and is now under the SPCA's care. Had it not been for Poppy's determination to help the pup, she might not have survived, SPCA volunteers said. Awesome work, Poppy!

Attention: The Most Electrifying Clothes at Fashion Week Just Hit the Runway

Everyone in the fashion industry's surely got a favorite collection by now, and we bet it's Altuzarra. While the brand is known for making women feel sexy without showing skin, this season gets a bit more frisky. Often inspired by characters in films, Joseph Altuzarra was attracted to Lula's youthful spirit in Wild at Heart. But don't worry, these clothes are still PG-13.

Diagonal ruffles struck a whimsical note, but playfulness took precedence thanks to sequined cherries and lemons that covered so many of the pieces - even the evening wear. The body was defined and flattered by uniting just the right separates, a knee-length skirt, a vibrant bralette, and a metallic belted blazer, for example. Shiny heels were strapped over patterned tights, calling attention to the legs, while geometric earrings said, "Baby, look up here."

While Altuzarra's recently-launched bags played neutral in the wardrobe before, this Spring they'll graduate to must-have status. These punchy pouches and satchels were not made to wear with just anything; they were built to dazzle street style photographers. Finally, it's important to note that gingham, snakeskin, and floral prints should not match in perfect harmony. But when Joseph Altuzarra works his magic, you better believe they do.

Chloë Grace Moretz's Stylish Teen Vogue Spread Was Upstaged by Brooklyn Beckham's Hat

Keeping up with celebrity relationships can get pretty tough. One day two stars are together, laughing and in love. The next they're done, leaving fans feeling heartbroken and [insert crying emoji here]. But alas, the memory lives on - and Teen Vogue covers, too, at least if you're Chloë Grace Moretz and Brooklyn Beckham. When the actress shared a snap of herself on the magazine's October/November issue, we immediately recognized the hat of the mystery man she was hugging. It belonged to Brooklyn Beckham, and was something they once shared before they (reportedly) called it quits.

Chloë talks a bit about her relationship in the issue and also rocks a variety of fabulous Fall looks. But that hat, man - it's all we can think about. It's the one thing that's still connecting them, giving us a bit of hope.

Check out how they both rocked this "Yeah Baby" cap, both in front of the camera and on the street, then check out Chloë's interview on Teen Vogue's site.

Try Keeping a Straight Face Watching These Kids Explain How Babies Are Made

Jimmy Kimmel had his production crew hit the streets of Hollywood to ask kids how babies were made - and the results were hilarious. Kimmel decided that the best way for kids to learn about the birds and the bees was from each other and not their parents, but he soon found out that it's just as embarrassing. The responses speak for themselves and range "from boobs" to "the downstairs goes into the girl's downstairs."

However, the last kid definitely takes the crown, looking at the woman with disgust immediately after hearing the question. "I'm not in fifth grade yet, I shouldn't know this stuff . . . I've seen Star Wars, and it looks really gross and painful."
