6 Places You've Seen Luke Cage Star Mike Colter Before

Now that Luke Cage has premiered on Netflix and we're all gleefully hooked on the first season, it's time for a little trivia. If you've been watching all of Netflix's Marvel adaptations, you know Mike Colter has already played Luke Cage in season one of Jessica Jones - and that's he's signed up to reprise the role for 2017's The Defenders series - but he's so much more than the superhot superhero with bulletproof skin. Here are six places you may have seen Colter recently.

6 Miscarriages Inspired This Mom's Jaw-Dropping Rainbow Baby Photo Shoot

Jessica and Kevin Mahoney had struggled with fertility issues for a while, but when she finally got pregnant with their second child after so much loss, they knew they had to do something special for a pregnancy photo shoot. Jessica had suffered six miscarriages following the birth of their son Corbin and wanted the pregnancy photos to represent every ounce of hope that came with their rainbow baby.

Kevin enlisted photographer JoAnn Marrero to take the photos, and after back-and-forth communication, they decided they were going to form an actual rainbow using colorful smoke bombs. After suffering so much loss, this beautiful photo shoot was the perfect way for Jessica to show how important it is to stay hopeful and see the rainbow after the dark, cloud-filled days.

"A rainbow baby is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravage of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it does not mean the storm never happened or the family is still not dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds," Marrero wrote on her Facebook page From Labor to Love.

The photo was shared on the popular page Birth Without Fear and has received over 10,000 reactions, all from those blown away by how beautiful this photo is!

6 Rumors About the New iPad Pro That Will Make You Super Excited

Move over, iPhone 7 and 7 Plus: Hints of what the new iPad Pro models hold are here and it sounds promising already. The rumors include a new iPad Pro size and display, and even a lower price.

The news comes from Ming-Chi Kuo, a respectable and reputable Apple source. Kuo released a new report that MacRumors sums up. The details are below.

  1. More iPads: The report states the three new iPads will be released in 2017, from 9.7-inch to 12.9-inch models.
  2. A new iPad Pro size: In addition to keeping the 12.9-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro, Apple intends on announcing a 10.5-inch iPad Pro.
  3. Reduction in price: The 9.7-inch iPad Pro will reportedly come as a "low-cost" model.
  4. A new display: Kuo's last speculation surrounds a new "revolutionary iPad model" coming in 2018. The new iPad will include a "flexible AMOLED panel."

However, noted blog Macotakara just posted fresh news about the iPad. The blog states that we can expect to see new versions of the iPad Pro's, according to Mashable.

  1. Two new sizes: We will see two new sizes come to the iPad Pro line: an iPad Pro mini with a 7.9-inch screen and a 10.1 inch screen. The iPad Pro mini is expected to have everything the Pro line has like the smart connector.
  2. An improved camera for one iPad Pro model: The 12.9-inch iPad Pro will receive an improved camera, with 12 megapixels and True Tone flash.

For now, it looks like we'll need to wait till at least next year to see what other leaks start circulating, but this is a pretty good start on the iPad Pro.

The Most Intriguing Westworld Theory Yet Has to Do With the Man in Black

Like Dolores, we should all be questioning the nature of our reality when it comes to Westworld. There seem to be concrete rules that exist within the show, but there's absolutely more to the series than we've been shown so far. One character that is convinced of this is The Man in Black (Ed Harris), and a theory has already sprung up on Reddit, courtesy of user jz68: The Man in Black isn't a human guest, he's a host.

His character is presented to us as a guest; he disrupts the storyline between Teddy (James Marsden) and Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), and we're led to believe he's a visitor who's been coming for 30 years. He kills Teddy and rapes Dolores, but that's not all he's after. By the end of the episode, we see him torture a host, only to find a map hidden under his scalp.

"For some reason, he became self-aware long ago and has been going around looking for answers," said jz68. "As for the Man in Black saying 'I didn't pay all this money because I wanted it to be easy,' for some reason, he's been programmed to think he's human and retains that part of his programming." This makes a hell of a lot of sense, and as user jas0660 points out, it also explains why he's wearing gloves. If he's an early model, perhaps his hands aren't even finished being built.

The biggest inconsistency with this theory is that the Man in Black, like all visitors, is unable to be physically harmed by the hosts. So why wouldn't he be killed by Teddy's bullets? Now that we know Teddy is a host, it's possible that any character presented as a human is actually an android. By that measure, people in the "real" world could also be robots - looking at you, Bernard (Jeffrey Wright). Let's shelf this theory for now and revisit after episode two.

Every Parent Needs to Hear the Things People Said to This New Mom Returning to Work

"If life gave you a performance review, how would you do?"

Jessica O'Dowd, new mom to 10-month-old Lyric, was given a performance review after her return to work following maternity leave, and the results are something all parents need to hear. Although O'Dowd went into this review seeming apprehensive about her performance now that she has to split her time between work and being a mother - something many moms struggle with after becoming a parent - her co-workers and family members reassured her through video messages that she is achieving so much in all of her roles.

"Now you're back, I have no idea how you're achieving so much in the same amount of hours I have in a day."

"I know you think sometimes that you're dropping the ball, but you are amazing - don't ever question that."

"You are an amazing mother, wife, sister, daughter, and I aspire to be just like you."

"You do such a great job, and I'm so glad that you're back on our team."

After the flood of compliments, O'Dowd reflected on her own successes: "I guess I'm doing a better job than I thought. You beat yourself up about not being the employee you were before, you beat yourself up about not being the mom you thought you could be . . . but apparently you are."

This Heartbreaking Story of How a Man Rescued Kittens in a Dumpster Has a Happy Ending

A kind man named Cliff is our new hero after rescuing a litter of newly born kittens that he found in a dumpster. He heard meowing from the pile of disposed wood and saw a tiny white kitten hanging on in between two beams. It made faint noises and Cliff realized there were others abandoned as well.

Cliff told Love Meow that someone had dumped the kittens into the dumpster and they were underneath a pile of wood that was thrown in on top of them. He spent seven hours digging them all out, although one didn't survive. The litter was as young as a week old or so, as they could barely open their eyes. Since they were so young, they required round-the-clock care, which one rescue group in Springfield, MO, Watching Over Whiskers, offered to provide. Thanks to them, the kittens were bathed and nursed back to health. Two of the smaller ones are even being fed by a rescue cat named Roxy, who just had six babies of her own.

This heartbreaking story thankfully had a happy ending, and the kittens are doing well at their foster home. Watch Cliff retrieve a kitten in the video above and see two of the kittens below!

Here's the Right Way to Repost Instagram Photos

Instagram is among our first-thing-in-the-morning go-to apps. But its almost too simple interface has us wanting functions available on other social networks, chief among them: the repost (also known as a retweet, reblog, or share depending on your social site of choice). Fear not 'Grammers, discover the ways to share a picture you more than just love and give credit to the original poster while doing so.

  • Repost for Instagram (free for iOS and Android) - View your feed in this app, then tap on a picture you'd like to repost. The user's account and profile picture automatically appear as a bar on the image that can be rotated. Hit repost to open and share the photo in the native Instagram app.
  • Repost on Iconosquare - If you use the web client Iconsquare (formerly Statigram) to view Instagram while on a browser, click on the picture you want to share, and find the repost button below the photo. Select that to preview an image of the to-be-shared pic with a reshare icon in the upper left corner (as seen above). Click "Send me by email," to receive an email from Statigram with the preview image attached. Save that to your phone's photo library and upload to Instagram as normal. Though the original photographer's name appears in the photo, don't forget to give them an extra shout-out in the caption.
  • Repost on Websta - Websta (formerly Webstagram) users can apply the same directions as the above Statigram reposting method and have the picture, marked with the original poster's name, emailed.

The Only Thing Better Than Classic Mean Girls Is Dogs Dressed as Mean Girls

Happy Mean Girls Day! In case you didn't realize, Oct. 3 has been dubbed as Mean Girls Day, because it's the day Lindsay Lohan's character references in the movie when her crush asks her for the date. So aside from celebrating this day by dropping quotable lines into everyday conversation, DogVacay's resident dogs dressed up as the characters from some of the most iconic scenes. Scroll through to see their take on Amy Poehler's cool-mom bit, and always remember to wear pink on Wednesdays, duh.

Regina George's Best and Baddest B*tch Moments

When it comes to teen-movie villains, there's no one quite like Mean Girls' Regina George. In honor of Oct. 3 (aka National Mean Girls Day), we're looking back on some of her most hilarious moments as Regina. In 2014, Rachel McAdams participated in a Mean Girls reunion for Entertainment Weekly, revealing that she originally auditioned for Cady. She said that she loved the Regina character, though, saying, "She seemed so deliciously wicked and borderline evil." And as for what she thinks Regina George might be up to now, 10 years later? "Regina is a Real Housewife," Rachel said. "She'd have too much time on her hands, for sure. She's probably found all her other Reginas." Take a look at some of the most memorable Regina George moments - in GIFs.

On a Scale of 1 to 10, Lily Collins's New Hair Is a Definite 10

If you're thinking about getting bangs for Fall, just take a cue from Lily Collins. The actress got a gorgeous new fringe and also dyed her hair a sleek, dark chocolate hue while in Paris for Fashion Week. Celebrity stylist Jen Atkin was responsible for the dramatic style, and Lily also gave her a shout-out on social media for the new look.

That wasn't all, however: Lily pinned her hair back for an Audrey Hepburn-esque feel while at the Valentino Spring 2017 show. She was clearly obsessing over her hair as she posted multiple snaps of her bangs. Furthermore, the darker color is right on trend for Fall. Keep reading to see Lily's full transformation.

9 Well-Known Commoners Who Married Royals

Although royals often marry other royals, some princes and princesses have found love with commoners. There's Prince William and Kate Middleton, of course, who famously met in school. And more recently, Sweden's Prince Carl Philip tied the knot with Sofia Hellqvist, a former model and reality-TV star. Over the years, royals have fallen for all sorts of people, including a journalist, a Hollywood actress, an Olympic athlete, and a gym owner. With a look at royal couples past and present, see some of the well-known commoners who became royalty through marriage.

What Are the Rules in Westworld?

HBO's new sci-fi Western, Westworld, is a lot to take in. There are human-like robots called "hosts," sexually deviant guests visiting the titular theme park, and a whole bunch of general weirdness. Because the series is so insane, we figured it might be helpful to keep a running list of all the rules and concrete information we have about what goes on inside the amusement park - before it gets way too confusing to follow. After Sunday's premiere, here's what we know about how the hosts, guests, and engineers function.

  • While the hosts seemingly reset every day, guests stay in Westworld for up to two weeks, according to the premiere.
  • Guests can do whatever they'd like to the hosts (kill, rape, etc.), but the hosts cannot harm the guests - though signs of a host uprising are evident.
  • Hosts are written with a semipermanent story. Teddy (James Marsden) is Dolores's (Evan Rachel Wood) true love, so no matter where their adventures take them on a particular day, they are the star-crossed lovers.
  • The engineers can replace hosts. We see at the end of the premiere that the host who plays Dolores's father (Louis Herthum) is replaced by a different host, but the storyline of Dolores and her father remains the same.
  • The engineers can rewrite stories for particular hosts. We also learn that the body of the host who first plays Dolores's father has also played several completely different parts within Westworld. His playing the father role is just the latest in his history.
  • When hosts malfunction, they're placed in a warehouse. There are rows and rows of old hosts just standing nude in storage.
  • Engineers are constantly tweaking and rewriting codes. Dr. Robert Ford (Anthony Hopkins), the head honcho, adds a code that allows the hosts to very slightly recall memories from days past, which then manifest in physical actions like touching their lips in recollection of affectionate feelings. The code malfunctioning is what gets Dolores's father in trouble, as he starts to recall his past lives.
  • As dangerous as the town is, even more depravity happens in the desert. Repeat guests know this, and they use Teddy as a guide to take them out there.
  • There's more to Westworld than meets the eye. The villain known as The Man in Black (Ed Harris) has been coming to Westworld for decades, and he's determined to uncover a deeper level of the park. He's onto something; he tortures a host until he discovers a map hidden under his scalp and sets out to follow it.

How Emily Blunt Took the Hollywood Train Straight to the Top

In 16 years of acting, Emily Blunt has already put together the kind of career that most actors try to build in a lifetime. She's had a role in seemingly every genre (aside from a megafranchise), continually surprising and delighting audiences by taking on characters you haven't seen her play before. Her role in The Girl on the Train follows suit, as Blunt takes on a role that's gritty, layered, and unlike any other character we've seen her play before. She's got a lot riding on the film, too, as fans across the globe have been anticipating the big-screen version of the New York Times bestseller pretty much since the adaptation was announced. I sat down with Blunt in New York for a recent press day for the film, where she discussed the challenges of the role, the appeal of the genre, and how becoming a mother has changed the evolution of both her personal life and her career.

Blunt had her star-making turn in 2006's The Devil Wears Prada, which earned her a Golden Globe nomination along with a new legion of fans who would quote her lines from the film back to her for years to come. Since then she's starred in an impressive array of films that truly show her range: comedy (The Five-Year Engagement), action (Edge of Tomorrow), musicals (Into the Woods), drama (Sicario), and so on. Not only is Blunt's résumé a testament to her talent, but as her husband, actor John Krasinski, points out, it's also a testament to the choices she's made. "I've watched her go from being a really good actress who makes really good decisions to being the best actress who makes exceptional decisions, and it's because she can literally do anything," he said. "But I will say above all, I think her taste is what impresses me the most. She chooses roles and understands roles so specifically."

"It's very unusual to have your female heroine be a complete blackout drunk."

So what made Blunt choose The Girl on the Train? The fact that it presented yet another new challenge for her as an actress. "It was a departure for me, because I've never played, number one, an alcoholic, but somebody who is that toxic, physically, and emotionally," she said. "That was the appeal. But also, it's very unusual to have your female heroine be a complete blackout drunk. That was another draw for me."

To Blunt's point, Rachel Watson is not exactly the most lovable protagonist. Unable to move past her failed marriage, Rachel takes the train to and from Manhattan each day, sipping alcohol from a stash in her purse and fantasizing about the lives of a young, beautiful couple whose house the train passes each day. When the woman mysteriously vanishes, Rachel finds herself overly involved in discovering what happened. Not only is Rachel an unreliable narrator because of her drinking, but she also makes a lot of cringe-worthy decisions (there are a lot of drunk dials to her ex) that make it difficult to really root for her, but Blunt made sure not to pass judgment. "I think Rachel is, and I hate this term but you hear it all the time, is ultimately maybe an unlikable character. People don't want to breathe the same air as her. She looks like sh*t, she acts like a lunatic. But yet I had such huge sympathy for her, I felt so hideous for this character and what she'd been through. And I understood why she did what she did. I think acting's the ultimate form of empathy in many ways."

"I think there's a voyeur in all of us."

In the film, we see Rachel in various stages of drunkenness, from going too hard on happy hour to blacking out entirely. Actors often talk about how difficult it is to authentically play a drunk character, and Blunt turned to both friends and reality television for preparation. "I watched a lot of Intervention, which was very, very helpful because, thank God, no one has ever documented me when I'm blackout drunk. I think how we think we are when we're really drunk is not actually what we look like, so I don't have any recollection of what I do, physically, when I've been really drunk - which is not that many times, but it's happened! [Laughs] I think I needed to be able to portray that physically, like what happens to your face? What happens to your eyes? How do people really look? How do people really behave when they're drunk? And I got some really good tips by a couple of friends of mine who used to be drunks."

"He knew. I was resistant to getting up off the ground too quickly. I was like, 'Yeah, but I might tweak something.' He took me aside and he went, 'You did Edge of Tomorrow. Are you pregnant?'"

Ironically, Blunt wasn't drinking at all at the time she filmed the movie, because she was pregnant with her second daughter, which presented its own set of challenges. "It's nice to unwind with a glass of wine, which I was unable to do, and this movie needed more unwinding than most," she said. "It was a really tough shoot. It was a fun shoot, but it was very challenging. There were physical challenges that were happening to me in my real life that I was in that first trimester of exhaustion and sort of feeling kind of nauseous." Then there's the factor of not wanting to share your pregnancy news too early, but it didn't take long for Blunt's friend and costar Justin Theroux to figure out what was happening. "He totally guessed, because he knows me really well. He knew. I was resistant to getting up off the ground too quickly. I was like, 'Yeah, but I might tweak something.' He took me aside and he went, 'You did Edge of Tomorrow. Are you pregnant?'"

Paula Hawkins's novel debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times Fiction Best Sellers of 2015 list and has become so ubiquitous that it's hard to find someone who hasn't read it or at least heard of it. That said, Blunt hadn't read the book before she got approached for the movie, but once she picked it up, she quickly related to the themes. "It's very easy to see why it became the phenomenon that it did because I think those domestic thrillers play very well these days because it feels so close to home for people, and they can imagine themselves in these characters' shoes," she said. "The underbelly of suburban life is quite a realistic thing to portray. What we think we see and don't see. I think there's a voyeur in all of us. I think all of us have done that suburban commute, and wondered about the people on the train or the people that live near the tracks, and looking into windows that aren't ours to look into. Wondering about lives we've never lived. It was a concept that I could relate to."

"Kids just ground you instantly, it doesn't matter what you do for a living or who you are."

Of course, as an actress and celebrity, Blunt herself is living the kind of life that many would love to know more about. She's been married to Krasinski for over six years, and the couple have two daughters together. In addition to the fact that Blunt and Krasinski have amassed tons of fans from The Devil Wears Prada and The Office alone, the couple also have an A-List social life that includes an annual Christmas prank war with Jimmy Kimmel, tropical vacations with Jennifer Aniston, and trips to George Clooney's vacation home in Lake Como, Italy (they even got married there). Though Blunt asserts that her life is a lot more boring than it seems, she understands why people are curious. "I get why people want to come up with preconceptions of what you're like, or misconceptions, I guess, of what you're like, and what your life might be like. I understand that, because I understood it before I became known. I used to wonder about people, from famous people to not. I think it is that sort of need to know what we don't, that need to know behind closed doors. I understand the obsession. I feel like I have two lives - one where I'm in my house, and one where we're outside in public. I think also what people usually see, because it's just broadcast everywhere, is that it's such a spectacle. Because you see the red carpets and you see the premieres and all that. [Laughs] That's so alien to how we normally live our lives. So that in itself is like a character that you play."

"When we first met, I felt like we used to have these amazing stories to tell of our spontaneous adventures, and now we're like, 'Well, I got thrown up on today.' It's not as interesting."

Blunt jokes her life with Krasinski used to be a lot more exciting before they became parents, especially when it comes to finding the right stories to tell on press tours when they're promoting a project. "When we first met, I felt like we used to have these amazing stories to tell of our spontaneous adventures, and now we're like, 'Well, I got thrown up on today.' It's not as interesting." Beyond the stories she tells on talk shows, motherhood has also had a profound effect on how Blunt sees herself - and how she chooses her projects. "It's become my main identity. That's how I see myself at the forefront of things. That's my first priority in how I see myself now. And you wonder how superficially you lived your life before. Kids just ground you instantly, it doesn't matter what you do for a living or who you are. It's a universal grounding that goes on, when that mirror's held up to you and that kid's like, 'Let's see what you got.' It's just a really interesting time. It definitely has changed when I work, and how often I work, and the specificity of what I do now, because my kids are very, very young, and so I need to be there. This is a tender age, and so I need big chunks of time off, and that's sort of how I'm seeing things. I'm very, very specific about when I work and what it is. I have to really want to do it now. It has to be really worth it."

"I might be the actress that's worked with Meryl Streep the most. She stalks me. It's embarrassing."

Not surprisingly, when you take a look at Blunt's upcoming projects, you'll exclusively find kid-friendly fare: three animated movies and Mary Poppins Returns. Blunt lights up when discussing the latter, saying, "What a gift to my girls! I would've done Mary Poppins whether I was a mother or not, but the fact that I'm a mother and to a mother of girls is just so awesome to be able to play Mary Poppins. It's a real gift. Because they're just gonna find it joyous." The film will mark the third time she's worked with Meryl Streep, which is an accomplishment in and of itself. "Am I the actor that's worked with Meryl the most? I might be the actress that's worked with Meryl Streep the most. How lucky am I? She just stalks me. It's embarrassing," Blunt joked. But along with that excitement comes an understandable dose of nerves: "When Rob Marshall called me I felt simultaneously thrilled and frozen with fear. Nobody's Julie Andrews, so I know that much. So I'm just gonna do my own thing. But Mary Poppins is sort of emblematic of people's nostalgia, in many ways. They're some big shoes to fill. When I said I was taking it on, my friend said to me, 'Wow. You've got balls of steel.' I was like, 'Don't say that! It makes it scarier.'"

I ask Blunt what she'll remember most about making The Girl on the Train, and she speaks to the collaborative environment and how that instilled confidence in her. "I think this is the most uninhibited I've had to be in a film, and so I realize more than anything on a film like this, the value in collaboration and the value in a director not straight-jacketing you and just letting you go for it. Acting is so much about confidence, and I think this was a set that was infused with a lot confidence. I just know more and more with every project I do that, my work is always about how confident someone's allowed me to feel." Perhaps now the secret to Blunt's success should be a little more apparent to the rest of us. As Krasinski noted, she has a huge talent but also great taste in choosing her roles. As she mentioned, the confidence imbued in her elevates her performances. And as her friend pointed out - she's undeniably got balls of steel.

You Can Now Order Chorizo at Chipotle, but Is It Worth Going Crazy Over?

While other large food chains seem to add new and unexpected items to their menu rather frequently, Chipotle is quite the opposite. The Mexican food chain has maintained and established its cult of devoted customers on a menu that has undergone very little change over the years, which is why we were pleasantly surprised when Chipotle announced that it would be rolling out the Mexican classic chorizo to its fixed menu nationwide.

Chorizo is a Spanish pork and chicken sausage blend that is typically used in a variety of Mexican dishes. The meat has the common texture of a sausage link with a natural kick of spiciness. I've long been a fan of the spicy meat since childhood after sampling it in breakfast scrambles and with homemade mac and cheese. So when I was given the option to marry it with my favorite Chipotle ingredients, I was especially inclined.

I had the opportunity to get a firsthand bite of the new item alongside Chipotle's culinary manager Nate Appleman. The chefs cooked up the chorizo and served it fresh off the stove top to me (chorizo is best when served and consumed hot!). Before my initial taste, Nate suggested that when eating chorizo, less is more, so my first bite was chorizo over white rice with a sprinkle of cheese.

At first nip, the immediate flavors of paprika and other roasted seasonings were present and the meat had a slight crunchiness on the outside, but it was still pleasantly tender on the inside and easy to digest. In comparison to previous dishes containing the ingredient, I expected the chorizo bits to be insanely spicy. This blend, however, won't leave your mouth with a pungent burn; instead, it presents a nice kick of heat. But while the meat shouldn't frighten those sensitive to spicy flavors, it did lean toward the salty side.

I was also able to try the sausage in place of my typical chicken taco with more diverse ingredient options. This time, I went for a soft-shell taco with chorizo, lettuce, pico de gallo, and a sprinkle of cheese. Once I bit into the taco, a slight salty tang was still present, but a lot less distinct - which I believe was due to the fresh presence of lettuce and tomato in my bite. While I do agree with the suggestion of keeping your condiments simple when opting for chorizo, I think the watery crunch of lettuce serves as a pleasant contrast in flavor, and makes it taste a lot less salty.

My ultimate thought after sampling the chorizo is that while it is full of flavor, to some it may be overwhelmingly salty. While you might want to double up on meat in your average Chipotle meal, a little chorizo goes a long way.

Kim Kardashian Arrives Back in NYC After Being Robbed at Gunpoint in Paris

After Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room on Sunday, she returned safely to the US and was reunited with her husband, Kanye West. The couple was spotted in New York City on Monday as they made their way into their Manhattan apartment building. Kim, who appeared to try and keep a low profile by keeping her sunglasses on and head down, was noticeably missing her wedding ring. It has been reported that the thieves, who reportedly bound and gagged the reality star before putting her in the bathtub, stole $10 million worth of jewelry, including one of her massive diamond rings. Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, was also spotted heading into the apartment building. While the entire ordeal is horrifying, we're glad she's back with her family.

Mom Responds to Note She Got About Treating Her Adopted Black Daughter "Differently"

"I guess finding a note like this on my car after dinner should make me angry," Tonya Keefer, an adoptive mother to both a black and white child, wrote in response to a note a stranger left on her car. "Maybe it did, but more than angry it made me feel really, really sad. I pity the person who sees my family and can only see the colors of our skin. Because in our home, we make no such distinction."

The note she's referring to was left on her windshield as her family ate dinner in a nearby restaurant, which read: "Just because the girl is black does not mean you have to treat her any different than your white child. You and your husband walked off and did not look back for the little black girl to make sure she got out the car safely. You should be ashamed. Seems like you're racist. Give the black girl back to her mother. You and your husband are white trash."

Instead of feeling anger at this person for making assumptions about her family, she wrote a graceful and heartfelt response to the stranger on her Facebook page.

The 'black girl' as you call her, is so much more than the label you place on her. She has a name, we call her Leah. She has a beautiful personality, a silliness that is endearing, and a laugh that is infectious. She is talented and creative and hilarious. In fact, as we drove into the Zaxby's parking lot tonight, she was bouncing and giggling in the back seat, being her incredibly unique self.

See, you see a black girl in my back seat, but not the countless prayers I prayed begging God for her. You can't see the times I've cried or lost sleep wondering if I was good enough for her. You see the 'black girl' with the white family, but I see an answer to my prayers, my daughter, my miracle.

I'm sorry that when you see my children you judge them by the difference in skin color, I truly am. Both of my children were abandoned by their birth mothers. Both of them were born to addicts. And both of them deserve the very best of life, and I'll admit, they deserve more than I could ever give them.

"If this note ever finds you I want you to know I am not angry," Keefer wrote. "And I would love to buy you dinner and offer you the chance to get to know our wonderfully unique family."

Facebook's Newest Offering Just Might Make You Want to Clean Out Your Closets

As if you weren't spending enough time on Facebook, the ubiquitous social-media site, is launching a new offering today that is sure to make it your one-stop-shop for everything. Marketplace, a space to buy and sell items with people within your community, is a Craigslist-like service that will exist on the bottom of the Facebook App. Once users tap the icon (it looks like a storefront) they'll immediately see photos of items for sale in their community.

The service, an extension of the sale function currently available in Facebook Groups, will allow users to filter their results by item type, price, and location. The location function can be adjusted to show sellers in your town or in an entirely different city. Once a user finds a product they'd like to purchase, they can communicate directly with the seller through the Marketplace space on the app.

Given how much time we spend weeding through posts in Facebook Groups now, the addition of Marketplace can only make our time spent there a bit more productive - or expensive, depending on how you look at it!
