Twitter Took a "Sexy" Challenge and Turned It Into Something F*cking Hilarious
When a new "challenge" starts trending on Twitter, you never really know what to expect; will it be a video challenge where participants have to stand still or something more politically charged? But when the #GreySweatpantsChallenge began picking up steam, there wasn't much mystery about what it could mean: Twitter was in for an eye-candy treat. Male users began using the challenge to show off their - ahem - physical endowment and got lots of tongues wagging about the challenge.
But leave it to the internet to turn even the sexiest of trends into a joke! It didn't take long for other Twitter users to begin posting mock photos of what they're "packing," including but not limited to dogs, Christmas trees, Bibles, and musical instruments.
We've collected some of the most hilarious examples (and some devastated reactions from people who were enjoying the challenge's original purpose) ahead. Trust us, you don't want to miss the ficus tree.

4 Weight-Loss Rules For Your Morning Meal
Skipping meals is never a good weight-loss strategy, especially when it comes to breakfast. Eating in the morning wakes up your metabolism, helping you burn more calories throughout your day. A solid first meal of the day also helps keep you feeling satiated so you eat fewer calories later. If you're working to drop pounds, keep in mind these four breakfast rules.
Just Wait Until You See This Baker Cut Into Her Impressive "Illustration Breads"
Let's be real - bread should encompass the entire food pyramid. As if we needed another reason to love bread in all of its carb-filled, starchy glory, Instagram user Konel_Bread is making us fall utterly head over heels. Japanese baker Ran, the genius behind the Instagram account, isn't just any baker - she's an artist who creates works of art within each circular loaf. These masterpieces come to life with each slice, revealing awe-worthy images and patterns made with natural ingredients for every color. And here we are still burning our toast . . .
The Tokyo-based food artist was recently featured on Instagram's official account, where she noted that her creations were inspired by decorative sushi rolls she once saw being made on TV. Her loaves have some fun designs hidden inside, from Snoopy and Hello Kitty to fruits and flowers, but sometimes she incorporates her own son's drawings. "My little boy loves the breads, and he'll usually have two slices for breakfast - maybe three on a really good day," Ran said in Instagram's spotlight post about her.
Curious about how on earth Ran perfectly executes these impressive loaves? So are we! She has her own cookbook on Amazon, although you may want to brush up on your Japanese before purchasing it. In the meantime, browse her stunning works of art ahead, and prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor.

This Is Why 2016 Was a Great Year For Selena Quintanilla Fans
No one can deny that since the untimely passing of Selena Quintanilla 21 years ago in Corpus Christi, TX, her memory and music have remained present. But unlike other years past, 2016 felt defining. This was the year with the most beautiful and remarkable tributes to the late tejano singer.
In the past 12 months, the Latino music community and Selena's old and new fans have been vocal, petitioning big brands to honor their idol and celebrating every win and tribute loudly. Thanks to them, Selena was not only recognized as the top Latino artist of the year at the Latin Billboard Music Awards, but was also included in the list of icons receiving a Hollywood Walk of Fame star in 2017. And, of course, it goes without mentioning that the singer's MAC Cosmetics collection was a sensation, selling out in mere minutes and causing a frenzy of internet reactions. And that wasn't even all. Keep reading to see 17 moments that made 2016 a great year for Selena's fans.

This Hot, Successful Dude Picked Out 10 Grooming Gifts For the Men in Your Life
This holiday season, POPSUGAR Beauty tapped some of our favorite influencers, including popular brand owners, bloggers, pros, and celebrities, to share the gifts they would like to receive or give. Find more gifting inspiration here.
Michael Dubin changed the shaving game. When he launched his company, Dollar Shave Club, in 2011, it quickly became a hit with men (and even some female POPSUGAR staffers) looking for inexpensive razors. The subscription service supplies its customers with shaving goods at nice prices (starting at $1 per blade), and recently, the brand expanded to include more grooming items. (He also starred in this viral video.) Since Dubin seems to know what people want, we had to get his advice on gift giving.
"While shopping for the holidays, I'm very practical," he told us via email. "My general gifting approach is to find gifts that are personal and useful. I think it's a nice gesture to find a present that adds value and convenience, whether I'm shopping for my mom or a colleague. And if you still can't find anything last minute, a thoughtful card goes a long way."

Don't Even Try to Contain Your Excitement as You Scroll Through These Sparkly Gift Ideas
The weird thing about Winter fashion? Most pieces come in neutral colorways, which totally qualify as classic and chic but aren't the most exciting to throw on each morning. We crave that "pow" factor and ways to electrify simple looks. So in terms of must-have gifts this year, we're asking Santa for some sparkle.
Ahead you'll find a variety of embellished, metallic, and sequined gifts that won't only be perfect for friends and family, you'll want 'em for yourself, too. Get ready to fill up your cart and bring some cheer back into the season - and your cold-weather wardrobe, too.

She joins the nearly 300-strong bunch of therapy cats, dogs, and rabbits whose job it is to ease any strain that flyers may experience while at the airport. The animals can all be found wearing little vests that say "Pet Me!" so people know that these little guys are there for their benefit, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
If you won't be at the San Francisco airport to see LiLou in the near future, don't worry - she has an Instagram! We pulled out a few of our favorite pictures of her here, but you should definitely click over to see even more.
Work Your Waist With the Side Bridge
Take your side plank to the next level with this effective variation. Holding the elbow side plank is a challenge, but by lifting your pelvis up and down you work your abs and arms in a whole new way. This exercise really targets the obliques to define the waist while toning the upper arm; talk about a fitness win win. Here's how to do the exercise.
Side Bridge
- Start by lying on your left side with your weight on your elbow. Your legs are almost straight and your feet stacked with the right on top. Inhale to prepare.
- Exhale, pull your abs to your spine, and lift your pelvis off the floor, coming into a side elbow-plank. Really lift your bottom waist up. Pull your shoulder blade down your back so your shoulder stays away from your ear (this will work your lat, too).
- Hold for three seconds. Lower your pelvis back to the floor slowly and with control to complete one rep.
- Do two to three sets of 12 reps on each side.
Modification
- You can make this exercise easier by bending your top leg and placing that foot on the floor. This will decrease the pressure in your arm and the stress on your spine.

19 Must-See Christmas Movies For Kids Depending on Their Age
Christmas movies are the best movies no matter how old you are, but often the films you watch with your family as a child stick with you the longest and become the ones you choose to share as a parent. I'll go straight to sharing Home Alone and other '90s holiday flicks with my own kids, but there are so many older, classic movies and new favorites that all kids should see snuggled up on the couch with hot chocolate (extra marshmallows). However, some of these family movies - both old and new - aren't necessarily for kids of all ages due to things like violence, bad language, obnoxious consumerism, and characters who question the reality of Santa.
Read through for 19 Christmas movies that all kids definitely need to see, but might need to hold off on depending on their age.
Proof That Mawra Hocane Is Poised to Become an International Beauty Icon
If you're on the pulse of the Pakistani film industry, you're definitely familiar with Mawra Hocane. The Karachi native is known for her intensive work in serials such as Yahan Pyar Nahi Hai and the upcoming Sammi, as well as films like Sanam Teri Kasam.
Thanks to makeup artist Karuna Chani, POPSUGAR got the opportunity to connect with Mawra as she visited New York for a very special reason: Pakistan's first-ever film festival, which was hosted by the United Nations. "It is incredible how our cinema is making its presence felt on an international level through prestigious platforms given to us by the UN," she said. "This is only the beginning and there is much more to come."
That statement applies to Mawra's career, too. She uses her celebrity to spotlight social justice issues - and not just in her spare time. In fact, her new serial, which is set to debut in 2017, revolves around a heartbreaking theme: child marriage. "I believe in using my voice," she told POPSUGAR, "so I am very excited about Sammi, which speaks up against child marriages. Through TV, we are trying to raise awareness."
With talent, passion, and looks like hers, she is poised to become an international star. She has 1.4 million followers on Instagram, many of who comment "beauty queen" or "gorgeous" and declare her an "iconic beauty."
They're not wrong! Just one look at her inspires beauty envy, so we of course asked her all about her hair, skin, and makeup secrets. Mawra is actually a spokesperson for Sunsilk in Pakistan and swears by its shampoos and conditioners but also credits her thick, lustrous hair to regular oil treatments. She added, "I also love unwinding by getting scalp massages from my mother!"
One of the two beauty products she's obsessed with can actually be found stateside: the classic Maybelline Great Lash mascara ($6), which Mawra says she can't live without. The other, a "no makeup" makeup palette, comes courtesy of Pakistani brand Nabila. Because they each contain lip and cheek colors, powder, and concealers, "the kits are great for on-the-go touch-ups."
Keep reading! We worked with Mawra and Karuna to get a behind-the-scenes look at Mawra's style for the inaugural dinner of the Pakistan Film Festival. You'll be positively mesmerized by the beautiful photos.
Make Harry Potter Fans Green With Envy Over These 32 Slytherin Gifts
Slytherins get a bad reputation. I mean, there was that whole business with Voldemort being in the infamous House, Salazar Slytherin wasn't exactly perfect, and I'm not trying to say that Snape and Malfoy were angels. Still, it's easy to forget just how many good qualities the House boasts - ambition, cunning, and lifelong friendships to name a few. While over the years I've admittedly had to come to terms with my true Slytherin self, I have to say that now I'm loud and proud about my affiliation with the House, and other Slytherins should be, too! These gifts will speak to your Potter-loving, serpentine souls.

Why This Simple Craft Project For Toddlers Has Been Viewed 7 Million Times
TODDLER BUSY CANWhat a cute idea this is! And it's sure to keep that little toddler entertained and busy so you can get some laundry done, or maybe a shower, or clean the kitchen, so many great reasons as to why you want to make little Busy Can. <3
Posted by HowDoesShe on Saturday, December 5, 2015
It's a typical parental lament: you buy your toddlers fancy toys that whir and light up and blink and speak and giggle and use WiFi, but they inevitably find the boxes they came in far more entertaining.
So maybe that's why this quick-and-easy DIY toy made out of a used Pringles can is taking over the Internet.
The "toddler busy can" - which can be made using pipe cleaners, a hole puncher, and some colored paper hole reinforcements from our old high school days - has been viewed more than seven million times, likely because it promises to keep curious kiddos occupied long enough for parents to have a little time to themselves.
"What a cute idea this is," the video, posted to the HowDoesShe Facebook page, is captioned. "And it's sure to keep that little toddler entertained and busy so you can get some laundry done, or maybe shower, or clean the kitchen."
But perhaps better than simply keeping your kid entertained with a toy made from items you likely already own, it's an activity that can help them develop fine motor skills, improve their hand-eye coordination, and teach them to sort colors.
Will you try making this busy can for your kid?
Glitter Strobing Is the 1 Holiday Beauty Trend Worth Obsessing Over
Regardless of which Winter holiday you celebrate, it's easy to see a recurring theme this time of year: light. Candles, lamps, and strings of lights add brightness, joy, and hope to the long, dark evenings. We'd argue that same trend translates into beauty looks of the season, too. Shimmer, sparkles, and metallic hues all make an appearance on lips, eyes, and cheeks . . . and beautifully reflect the light of your festive decorations.
This year, we're combining the most dazzling beauty accessory ever - glitter - with strobing. As you likely know by now, strobing is a trendy highlighting technique, which consists of applying a shimmery illuminator to the high points of the face like cheekbones, the cupid's bow, and browbones. We decided to kick this popular method into high gear by layering on glitter as a finishing touch.
Glitter strobing is not for the faint of heart, as it's intensely luminous, but it's also one that is sure to inspire both envy and compliments alike. Paired with an LBD, you'll sparkle at any soirée.
The fabulous aspect of this look (besides the glitter, of course) is that it can be completely customized to your desires, bone structure, and complexion. It speaks to the art and whimsy of makeup. Here, MAC Cosmetics Senior Artist Regan Rabanal designed six different looks using the new In the Spotlight collection on two different complexions, fair and deep. That said, you shouldn't feel limited to the colors used in the creations he whipped up - feel empowered to design your own sparkling masterpieces.
"Trying out and experimenting with different colors and sizes of glitter will help discover some amazing combos," he said. "Keep the combinations ombré and focused on the same color undertones." Read on for his tips and tricks and to spark your own creativity.
If You're Trying to Lose Weight, Stop Doing These 5 Things
While some have tried pretty shocking techniques to lose weight, there are also some common, long-held techniques that seem like a good idea - and may even work at first - but are absolutely going to backfire and end up causing weight gain. If you're on a quest to a slimmer you, avoid doing these five things.
Having a Cut-Off Time For Eating
If you've heard that you shouldn't eat past 6, 7, or 8 p.m. in order to lose weight, that's just not true. Food eaten at night doesn't automatically get stored as fat, as previously believed. What time you stop eating has nothing to do with how much weight you'll gain or lose - it's the total calories you consume in a day that matters. If you are a late-night snacker, opt for healthier options that are easy to digest.
Deprivation
Whether it's all carbs, all gluten, all sugar, all baked goods, or all whatever, certified dietitian Leslie Langevin, MS, RD, CD, of Whole Health Nutrition believes this is not a life your pizza-ice-cream-pasta-loving self can sustain. After a period of forced deprivation, most people will just throw in the towel and devour an enormous plate of whatever they're living without, says Langevin. Or, if they are able to go through a period of elimination, once they go back to eating these foods, the weight they lost will slowly creep back on. When it comes to maintaining weight loss, moderation is key.
Subscribing to a Low-Fat Diet
Going no fat or low fat was a huge trend back in the '90s, a fad that we are glad has mostly passed. Most low-fat foods are packed with sugar to add flavor, and as a result, they end up causing weight gain - especially belly fat. Also of importance is that we've since learned that eating healthy fats like avocado, olive oil, and nuts can actually help to increase metabolism and can burn away belly fat. Healthy fats also fill you up longer, so go ahead and add nuts to your smoothie, avocado to your soup, or roast your veggies in olive oil.
Skipping Out on Meals
In order to lose weight, you need to create a calorie deficit. And while reducing the number of calories in your diet is one way to do this, skipping an entire meal is not the way to go. Starving the body can slow down its metabolism and lead to overeating later. And let's face it, if you're running on empty, you won't have the energy for a calorie-crushing workout later. Beyond adopting a healthier diet in general, the best way to reduce your calorie intake is to find ways to make healthy swaps in your favorite foods and also by choosing lower-calorie foods that are high in fiber, protein, or whole grains, which can better keep you full.
Only Exercising
Working out is definitely part of the weight-loss equation, but if you think it means you can eat whatever you want, you're not going to be happy with the results. Keep in mind that a 30-minute run at a pace of six mph (10 minutes per mile) burns about 270 calories. In order to lose a pound a week, you need to burn or cut out 500 calories a day. So that means coupled with your 30-minute workout, you still need to cut out 220 calories from your diet, which most likely does not translate to eating everything in sight. Research actually proves that "abs are made in the kitchen," which means that what you eat - focusing on eating healthy portions throughout the day - can be even more important than how much you work out.
People Write Letters to Their Dogs to Tell Them How Much They Love Them
As fans of heartwarming pet rescue stories, we know the obvious: people save dogs. They save them when they're homeless or hungry or sick, but what some people forget is that dogs also save people. In this video from SoulPancake and Purina Puppy Chow, dog owners wrote letters to their puppies telling them how much of a difference they've made in their lives. In his letter to his puppy, Hunter, Tyler thanked him for being awesome and said, "I cannot wait to spend some of the best moments of my life with you." Watch the video to hear what the rest of these dog owners have to say. Even better, for every video view through Jan. 1, 2017, Puppy Chow will donate one pound of the new Puppy Chow Natural - up to 100,000 pounds - to Rescue Bank, a national pet food distribution program for animal rescue groups and organizations.

The Reason Families Really Need to Have an Elf on the Shelf This Year in Particular
For some families who have an Elf on the Shelf, it has become a beloved family tradition. But for its creator, Chanda Bell, this bit of holiday magic is something much more important than just a favorite Christmas tale - especially after the 2016 presidential election.
Because the Elf on the Shelf and pet friends focus on doing good deeds and promoting acts of kindness, this seasonal friend is an age-appropriate way to broach difficult subjects including acceptance, inclusion, and caring with kids.
"Some part of me wants to believe that this book and its timing is divine. There is such a feeling of divide, specifically here in the States. It's hard sometimes to know what to say to your kids and to talk to them about those types of hard subjects and hard issues - especially in a way they even care about," Chanda told POPSUGAR. "There's not a lot of ways to do that that are not psychological help books, but this is something fun that engages them."
Whether you're teaching your child that doing good deeds helps create Christmas magic, which in turn allows Santa Claus to bring smiles to families across the world, or using their relationship with Santa to explain philanthropy, the spirit behind Elf on the Shelf is encouraging kiddos to be kind to one another during a time when so many adults are struggling with this concept.
"It's important to me that as we build out this young generation's idea of what the North Pole is, that we're infusing it with faith, hope, love, and acts of kindness by arming parents with these talking points to help guide kids," Chanda explained. "Whether it's simply something like what are some of the things you can do that are nice? What are good deeds? Because sometimes kids hear words like that but don't know how to put it into action."
As parents spend time reading the stories of the elf, it allows them to introduce these topics: "That's how I'm able to talk to my kids about things like Saint Nicholas, how he was the first philanthropy and explain how he was generous before his time," Chanda said. "I want my children not to be so consumed with what they are getting for Christmas and I want them to first and foremost embrace the spirit of giving that is meant for the Christmas season - even though talking about it at first can be really hard."

We bet there's a law inside Victoria's Secret that prohibits its hyperfamous Fashion Show from happening without Alessandra Ambrosio. The model is as big of a staple on the runway as teeny-tiny lingerie, elaborate angel wings, and of-the-moment performers. She's been strutting her toned and defined body for the brand since 2000, and since officially becoming an Angel as VS Pink's first spokesperson in 2004, the honor of wearing the Dream Angels Fantasy Bra has been hers twice - in 2012 and in 2014 with fellow Brazilian Angel Adriana Lima. But besides those two bejeweled tops, Alessandra has graced the runway with some of Victoria's Secret's sexiest looks. Keep scrolling to see photos of those hot moments.

What Would Lois Lane's Facebook Reveal to Her? This Artwork Finds Out
Superman might have had a much harder time concealing his identity if Facebook existed in his fictional universe, something a clever drawing going viral depicts. The drawing, shown below, comes from an Australian artist who uses the pseudonym Brakken. It depicts Lois Lane innocently uploading a photo of herself with Superman, except Facebook's face recognition feature mistakes Superman for Clark Kent, thus revealing his true identity.
The clever drawing has since been shared more than 100,000 times on Tumblr. Following its success, the artist took to Tumblr to explain what inspired him and provide additional context. He wrote, "The inspiration for the image came from noticing Facebook's accuracy in identifying facial features in photos. . . . It made me remark on the evolution of technology, and the recurring tropes/themes in comic characters - particularly that of Superman's identity."
Additionally, Brakken clarified that the drawing was in no way meant to belittle Lois Lane's intelligence. Instead, it was an expression of his amusement with Clark Kent's disguise and how quickly modern technology could undermine it. He wrote, "Taking the rule of 'Clark's glasses deceive everyone he's close to,' which has had various forms and executions over the years, into a strictly modern setting made for an interesting way to interpret and appreciate that rule."

Lady Gaga Wears This Accessory All the Time, but Her Latest Version Was $1 Million
For the past few months, there's been one accessory Lady Gaga rarely leaves home without: a wide-brim, Gladys Tamez hat. The star's been pairing them with a variety of her outfits, and while she seems to favor the pink design that appeared on her Joanne album cover, she's stepped out in yellow and dark colored options as well. To some, the piece may seem somewhat tame - versatile and pretty normal for Gaga. But the singer's latest hat definitely proves her days of outrageous fashion choices are far from over.
While performing at the 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Lady Gaga once again wore a Gladys Tamez piece, but this time it was embellished, had fringe, and cost a whopping $1 million. The brand says it was an "an homage to the million dollar fantasy bra," and looking at it, we're pretty impressed - not mention jealous.
Scroll through to see the expensive from a few different angles, then see how Lady Gaga wears the piece off duty. Want one for yourself? Shop a (less expensive) pick from the brand ahead.
