9 Times Rogue One References the Other Star Wars Movies
While Rogue One is a standalone film, it's still very much rooted in the familiar Star War universe. Taking place after Revenge of the Sith and just before A New Hope, this crucial timeline allows for many familiar faces to appear; it's also the perfect opportunity to drop a few subtle and not-so-subtle references to the other films. For those who aren't quite caught up in Star Wars lore or may have forgotten these fine details, we've compiled a list of eight times Rogue One gave a shout out to the films that came before.

19 Must-See Christmas Movies For Kids Depending on Their Age
Christmas movies are the best movies no matter how old you are, but often the films you watch with your family as a child stick with you the longest and become the ones you choose to share as a parent. I'll go straight to sharing Home Alone and other '90s holiday flicks with my own kids, but there are so many older, classic movies and new favorites that all kids should see snuggled up on the couch with hot chocolate (extra marshmallows). However, some of these family movies - both old and new - aren't necessarily for kids of all ages due to things like violence, bad language, obnoxious consumerism, and characters who question the reality of Santa.
Read through for 19 Christmas movies that all kids definitely need to see, but might need to hold off on depending on their age.

The 1 Change I Made to Cure 10 Years of Feeling Bloated
Entering college was supposed to be all bliss and excitement, but I had such terrible digestive issues, I wouldn't dare stray far from my dorm bathroom. It was so embarrassing, feeling so bloated and being so gassy, the only person I could confide in was, of course, my mother. In her thick Long Island, NY, accent she said, "Aww, yaw just nervous. You'll feel bettah soon."
But months later, nothing had changed. I felt happier at college than I'd ever felt in my entire life and I was far from nervous. I still felt like sh*t, though. As a vegetarian who lived on cheese, I was lactose intolerant in a major way, so giving up dairy helped. I even gave up gluten but pretty much felt the same - tired and bloated. Every time I ate, I had digestive pains. Plus, I thought being a gluten-free vegetarian would help me drop my college weight gain, but I was actually gaining more weight.
Why? Gluten-free baked goods, breads, pastas, and vegan ice cream and cookies were part of my daily diet, so no wonder the scale numbers were going up. And even after giving up gluten for 10 years, my stomach was still a bloated mess. It wasn't until I ditched the processed junk and started eating more salads, roasted veggies, soups, beans, whole grains, and fruits that I noticed the enormous difference I had been hoping for. I felt energized and lighter, and, most importantly, I had no more belly bloat. I mean NONE. I even started introducing a little gluten back into my diet and still felt amazing.
The cure? Fiber. I wasn't eating close to enough on my junk-food gluten-free, vegetarian diet. I started focusing on getting at least 25 to 30 grams a day, which worked out to at least eight grams at each meal and three to four grams for each of my two snacks. To ensure I get my fill, I add ground flaxseed and berries to my smoothies and baked goods, chia seeds to my overnight oats, use avocado when I make pesto pasta, and add beans, quinoa, and sunflower seeds to my salads.
I was not only free from the chains of feeling bloated, but eating more fiber filled me up and I wasn't nearly as hungry as I had been, which helped me eat fewer daily calories, and in, turn lose weight. Talk about a major win-win, people!
American diets tend to focus on getting more protein and eating fewer carbs, so if you find that you're feeling bloated, gassy, and you can't remember the last time you pooped, check your fiber intake! As a general rule of thumb, make sure to get fiber every time you eat, whether it's through veggies, fruits, nuts and seeds, or whole grains. If you need some meal and snack inspiration, check out these recipes:

The Walking Dead: Are Animals Susceptible to the Horrific Zombie Virus?
One of the biggest mysteries on The Walking Dead also happens to be one of the most prevalent pieces to the zombie apocalypse puzzle: the virus. Throughout the run of the show, we've learned plenty about it through observation, character explanations, and more. We've even learned about why none of the characters say "zombie" while referring to the infected. There's one thing, though, that isn't quite as explicitly addressed in the series: can animals get it too?
It's true, the show has never truly answered the question in scenes, but that doesn't mean an answer isn't out there. In fact, creator Robert Kirkman directly addressed the issue during a very early episode of Talking Dead, the postmortem show that immediately unpacks each episode after it airs. "Animals can't become walkers/zombies," Kirkman revealed. "Only humans." You know what this means, right? One day, when every human is turned to a rotting member of the undead - or better yet, when all the walkers are finally dead for good - animals will once again take ownership of the world. Now that would be a great ending.

9 Sam Heughan Facts That Make Him Even More Lovable
If you're a fan of Outlander, then odds are you're probably equally obsessed with its star, Sam Heughan. While the 36-year-old is known for making hearts swoon as Jamie, his outrageously sexy physique isn't the only reason we adore him. Whether you're new to the Heughligans fandom or you've been following him for a while now, you will no doubt get a kick out of his most interesting facts.
Zara Tindall, Queen Elizabeth II's Granddaughter, Has Suffered a Miscarriage
Zara Tindall, the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and cousins to Princes William and Harry, has suffered a miscarriage. A Buckingham Palace rep confirmed the heartbreaking news to Us Weekly on Saturday, just a day before Christmas. In a statement, the rep said, "Very sadly, Zara and Mike Tindall have lost their baby. At this difficult time, we ask that everyone respects their privacy."
Zara announced her second pregnancy at the end of November. She and her husband, former rugby player Mike Tindall, are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Mia. The 35-year old equestrian is the daughter of Princess Royal Anne and is currently 16th in line for the throne.
Hello, Get in Formation - Beyoncé and Adele Are Both Performing at the Grammys
Hallelujah and praise the Lord! Both Beyoncé and Adele are performing at the 2017 Grammys. In a roundtable discussion for Billboard magazine this week, show producer Ken Erlich confirmed that both singers will be hitting the stage during the ceremony on Feb. 12; they'll also be going head-to-head for the record of the year, album of the year, and song of the year awards. When asked if the "Sorry" and "Hello" singers would be performing, Erlich said, "Very few people say no to the Grammys. Over all of the years I've been doing the show, there have been three or four acts who've actually said no." When pressed for more information, he "absolutely" did not want to reveal those who turned down the opportunity, but added, "I can tell you that Adele and Beyoncé are not two of them. We have every anticipation that both of them will be with us in February."
Considering what huge fans they are of each other, we wouldn't be surprised if the superstar singers come together for a duet, or at least sing each other's praises during their respective acceptance speeches.

Nobody Gets More Excited About Christmas Than Reese Witherspoon
In case you don't already know, Reese Witherspoon loves the holiday season, especially Christmas. Not only did she recently unveil her new Draper James holiday collection, but the actress, who is best known as "Wreath Witherspoon" during the cold Winter months, also makes it a point to blow out the holiday as soon as Thanksgiving is over. In 2015, Reese posted a bright and festive Instagram photo of herself sitting by a plate of gingerbread cookies 24 days before Christmas, writing, "Never too early to wait for Santa ... Am I right?? #AnyMinuteNow." We can't say we don't admire her dedication. Sleigh on, Reese, sleigh on.

4 Things Elf on the Shelf Skeptics Need to Consider ASAP
Like any trend, despite the frenzy of Elf on the Shelf-loving families, there are some who just aren't fans of the magical elves: to them, they are naughty, creepy, and a lot of unnecessary work. However, the Elf on the Shelf's creator, Chanda Bell, has something she wants these haters to know.
"It's one thing to say this elf is watching you and have it mold [your child's] behavior, but that is not at all the intent or how the stories are written," Chanda told POPSUGAR. "It's really about inviting your own friend from the North Pole to join your family and speaking to this bigger message about how when you are kind and when you do these good deeds, the elves need to report that too. That's really important for Santa because he needs to know that all these good things are happening."
If you're still not seeing the appeal of these tiny elves spending 30 days in your home, check out these four things that every skeptic needs to know before hating on this beloved tradition.

Baby Chanel's First Year by the Numbers
We all fell in love with Ice T and Coco Austin's baby girl, Chanel, when she first entered the world back in November 2015. Now, more than a year later, she's one of our favorite celebrity babies. Not only does she have her own Instagram and Twitter accounts, but her shoe collection is already out of this world. Since she's lived more life in her first year than most people do in their lifetimes, we've broken down the past 12 months into some fun, digestible numbers. Keep reading to see just how awesome Chanel's got it, because, well, she deserves it.
We Need to Talk About Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell's Son, Wyatt
When it comes to Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell's adorable family, you're probably much more familiar with their oldest kids, Kate and Oliver Hudson. But we're not here to talk about them. Instead, we're here to discuss another member of their family that isn't getting far enough attention, in our humble opinion: Wyatt Russell. Usually sporting a lumberjack beard that would make Mark-Paul Gosselaar proud and a smile that we're happily blinded by, the up-and-coming actor - who is currently dating Search Party actress Meredith Hagner - has been charming the pants off of audiences in small (but memorable) film roles over the last few years. Whether the 30-year-old is making you laugh in comedies like 22 Jump Street and Everybody Wants Some! or scaring the sh*t out of you in Black Mirror, we can probably all agree that he's top-tier crush material.

Kind Stranger Gives Earless Old Cat a Chance When No One Else Would
Meet Otitis. He is a 10-year-old deaf cat with no ears who was dumped by his original family when they couldn't take care of his ear issues. Now meet Molly. She is Otitis's proud new owner who adopted him when no one else wanted him. Together they take care of each other, with Molly giving Otitis love and snuggles, and Otitis giving Molly love in return as well as emotional support as her emotional support animal.
Since being adopted on March 8 this year, Otitis has settled in nicely with Molly and her two roommates. "He's very people oriented and loves knowing what everyone is up to. He enjoys being the 'King Cat,'" she told us in an email. Molly shared that Otitis sleeps on her pillow every night (snoring in her ear, no less) and even helps her study.

We Will Soon Know Exactly What Zac Efron Smells Like
Zac Efron, if you're reading this, we just want to know where you spritz cologne. It may not be appropriate request (for the record, we ask women the same question all of the time). But it's just more fun to envision you misting yourself (and your six-pack) in a halo of musk.
When we learned the news that you'd be the new face of Hugo Boss Fragrances, we were pretty jazzed. In the press release, you are described as "the ultimate embodiment of millennial masculinity." Kudos to the Coty copywriting team for that one!

5 Easy Ways to Recycle Your Beauty Products in 2017
As a beauty junkie, I go through a lot of products. I want to try out every new shampoo, lipstick, and highlighter and the result is an endless flow of new bottles and containers in my home. When I finish the plethora of beauty treats, I toss them in my wastebasket . . . . and instantly feel guilty.

Read on to find out how you can make a difference in the New Year by recycling your beauty products. With options ranging from bringing them into a store to shipping them to a company for free, there are plenty of recycling methods for you to choose from and stick with.
This Family Sums Up 2016 in the Most Hilarious Way Possible
Want to get as far away from 2016 as humanly possible? You aren't alone. The Holderness family released their annual Christmas video and perfectly summed up the year, not just for their clan, but for the world in general. As much as they're ready to ring in 2017, they reminded us of some pretty great things that happened: they got a new puppy named Ruby and all of us Gilmore Girls fans got a revival! Their son learned to do the worm and the Cubs learned how to win the World Series!
So, as hard of a year as it might have been, sit back and enjoy watching everyone's favorite YouTube family as they recap - while breaking to try their hand at the Mannequin Challenge, naturally - the year that was.

8 Things Moms Really Want For Christmas
I'll admit that when pressed I can come up with a pretty extensive holiday wish list for myself, full of material items I covet but don't really need (except that fancy handbag, hubby; I really do need that). But what do I, like most moms, really want for Christmas? We have loftier goals, ones that can't be purchased at even the fanciest boutique.
In a perfect world, here's what would be under mom's tree on Christmas morning.
- A baby snooze button. It's still dark out and you stayed up too late checking your Instagram feed or your kid decided to pay you a visit from midnight until 3 a.m.? No matter; once you hear those first cries or calls for mommy, you simply push a button, and it's all clear for another nine minutes. Multiple snoozing allowed, of course.
- A laundry elf. Washed seven loads this weekend and somehow your basket was still overflowing on Monday? I've been there, literally, today. This sweet little laundry elf will make sure all your darks and whites get magically collected, washed, fluffed, folded, and put away in the correct drawers. You just reclaimed at least an hour a day, mama.
- A hands-free, noise-free, self-cleaning breast pump. Is there anything more annoying than the rhythmic whump-whump of a breast pump? Oh yeah, there is. That would be the strapping on and cleaning of said breast pump. This handy invention will literally free up your hands, your ears, and your sanity.
- A padded safe room. It's 2 p.m., your kid refuses to nap, you've already handled a half-dozen meltdowns and another half-dozen spills, and you still haven't had time to shower. That's when the padded safe room comes in. Stick your kid inside - there's nothing that can harm him - and you both get a stress-free time out.
- Coffee and wine on tap. Imagine, it's 6 a.m. or 5 p.m., and that drink you've been craving since your eyes reluctantly opened (or your kid decided to draw on your bathroom walls with red lipstick) doesn't require any work from you beyond the push of a lever. Heaven.
- The perfect babysitter. She's always available, shows up on time, doesn't mind if you're late, and has the house clean and your kids (who she totally adores; they feel the same about her) fed, bathed, and asleep when you get home. Oh, and look at those cute craft projects. A permanent residence is negotiable.
- A hotel room. Daddy, you're not invited. This room, located just a few minutes and a world away from home, is just for mama. A large soaking tub, complimentary room service and wine, and that show she's been dying to binge watch all come included. As an added bonus, upon departure, a cleaning crew will make sure mom's house is just as she left it.
- Someone to wrap all the Christmas presents. Because a tree lined with gift bags just doesn't look the same, but only Martha Stewart has time to make presents look that pretty.
Apply False Lashes Like a Pro (or a Kardashian!)
In a time when Kim Kardashian seems to rule the world, it's not considered crazy to wear false eye lashes - even to Pilates or the supermarket. But if applying a strip yourself feels intimidating, then don't fret. We have expert tips from MAC Senior Makeup Artist Romero Jennings, as well as a visual manual below. Dig up your lash glue, grab a mirror, and get ready to rock a Katy Perry-like flutter.

This Insane Harry Potter Theory About Santa Claus Will Make You Rethink Everything
Have you ever questioned the magic of Santa? It's a pretty amazing feat for him to travel all over the world, delivering presents in a flash. To one Reddit user, it became perfectly obvious why Santa can do all that he does: he must be a wizard, just like Harry Potter!
Reddit user Arumple created a thread discussing why Santa is a wizard. Several users, including TheSortingSombrero, chimed in with great reasons proving that Santa is definitely not a Muggle.
How else is Mr. Claus able to fit all of those wonderful gifts into one bag without it tearing apart? And what about his undetectable house in the North Pole? Sounds familiar to Hogwarts, doesn't it? And the only explanation for Santa being able to deliver all the toys in one night has to be because he uses a Time Turner!
Keep reading to see the mind-blowing theory that will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about Santa Claus ahead. It all makes perfect sense when you really think about it.

Whether they were slipping into a gown for the inaugural ball or just giving a speech in a colorful suit, there was one common thread: these first ladies knew (or know) how to get noticed and make a memorable, sophisticated statement - now isn't that what politics is all about?

This Is How All Your Favorite Chefs Cook Steak
Steak is one of those things that intimidates a lot of people but really shouldn't. If you've ever struggled with cooking the perfect steak, this list of tips should help. We've turned to some of our favorite Food Network personalities and more celebrity chefs for their steakhouse-worthy cooking methods.
Alton Brown: Pan-Seared and Oven-Baked
For pan-seared rib eyes, Alton Brown recommends two key things: bring the steak to room temperature (it cooks quicker this way), and heat a cast-iron skillet in the oven while the oven heats to 500 degrees. He doesn't use the oven until the steaks have been seared first, but heating up the skillet before putting it on the stove helps get the process started and ensure a completely heated-through pan.
Giada De Laurentiis: Add Italian Flavors
Giada's Tuscan rib-eye steak recipe proves everything is better with Italian flair. If you're into rosemary, thyme, garlic, and lemon (who isn't?), this is the best way to cook your steak.
Ree Drummond: Butter-Rubbed Grill Pan
The Pioneer Woman's first blog post to go viral was titled "How to Cook a Steak," and it's easy to see why. Her "never-fail arsenal" is just three ingredients: "Lawry's Seasoned Salt, McCormick Lemon Pepper, and a nice stick of regular (salted) butter." Ree advises coating a hot grill pan in butter before searing the steaks. In the post, she promises, "If you cook it for your friends, they'll never invite you over to their house for dinner again. You will have permanently raised the bar."
Gordon Ramsay: Baste With Butter
It's no surprise that Gordon Ramsay's tip for steak is the same as his tip for burgers: baste with butter. Besides the fact that fat makes everything taste better, Gordon explains that coating steak with melted butter "gives it a nice nutty brown finish."
Ina Garten: Steakhouse-Style Filet Mignon
Leave it to The Barefoot Contessa to school us in making a restaurant-worthy dish at home. If you're feeling fancy and opt for filet mignon, you'll want to use a generous coating of fleur de sel and coarsely cracked black peppercorns to achieve a perfect crust. If you follow her recipe to a T, you'll be the one saying, "How easy is that?"
Chrissy Teigen: Soak in a Garlicky Marinade
Chrissy Teigen admits in her cookbook, Cravings, that she's normally a traditionalist when it comes to steak (page 206), but her husband John Legend's "best marinade in existence" changed her mind. A lot goes into it - soy sauce and garlic, for starters - and after marinating for eight hours, you're on your way to juicy, flavor-packed steak. "I would probably still go simple if I was staring at the most beautiful piece of beef I've ever seen, but use this tangy marinade on a nice, solid rib eye, and I promise you, it will be hard for you to have it any other way," she wrote.
Tom Colicchio: Grill on Each Side
Top Chef's Tom Colicchio recommends turning the steak a total of six times while it's on the grill (grill it for three to four minutes on each side, including the edges). He also recognizes that quality is more important than quantity when it comes to steak. In an interview with POPSUGAR, he said, "start with buying the perfect steak - you can't buy a lousy piece of meat and make it great."
Bobby Flay: Perfectly Grilled
Bobby Flay, master of the grill, doesn't bother with anything complicated for his perfectly grilled steak recipe. All you need is steak, oil, and salt and pepper - and Bobby always recommends oiling the meat itself, not the grill or pan.

Cranberry Is the Seasonal Skin Care Ingredient You Never Knew You Needed
Cranberries do more than just make the delicious sauce to go with your holiday turkey dish. The seasonal berry is actually a fantastic ingredient when it comes to skin care.
"Cranberries contain a plethora of antioxidants, which help to prevent aging," explained Cassandra Bankson, beauty guru and creator of the Skin Science series.
For example, it's high in two types of vitamin E (tocotrienols and tocopherols) that are antioxidants that protect the skin from environmental damage to reduce and prevent wrinkling, hyperpigmentation, and dull skin.
Bankson added, "They also have trace minerals of potassium, manganese, and anti-inflammatory properties, which help prevent collagen break down and can blunt breakouts for those prone to adult acne."
In terms of skin care ingredients, you'll most likely find cranberry seed oil, cranberry pulp, and cranberry seed powder in products. Keep reading to discover 10 of our favorites that feature this delicious fruit!

The Story of Harry Potter's Invisibility Cloak May Be WAY Darker Than We Thought
For many Harry Potter fans, one of the most iconic parts of the entire series is the "Tale of the 3 Brothers," a supposed legend from The Tales of Beedle the Bard that has very real implications for Harry, Ron, and Hermione. The tale of Cadmus, Ignotus, and Antioch Peverell's quest to defy death turns out to be real, inspiring Lord Voldemort to seek out their famed possessions: three gifts from Death called the Deathly Hallows. Luckily for Harry, he already owns one (the invisibility cloak) as a distant descendant of the Peverell clan.
As intriguing as the story is, one Reddit user's dark theory about the Deathly Hallows adds another element of mystery to the Peverell legend.
The theory - which purports that perhaps the three brothers were necromancers summoning the dead - establishes the idea that the three hallows are bits of Death's own arsenal, intended to curse the men who strove to bridge the gap between life and death. The Elder Wand is a bit of Death itself, which can summon immediate death through the killing curse. The Resurrection Stone is part of the arch that holds the veil of Death. And the Cloak of Invisibility is a bit of the veil itself, the gateway through which the dead pass. Sound familiar?
Harry himself sees this archway of death with his own eyes, theorizes the Redditor, in the Department of Mysteries during Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. He hears the whispers of the dead through the arch and witnesses his godfather Sirius pass from the side of the living over to the side of the dead. His possession of the invisibility cloak could explain why he is able to hear these whispers at all and why he is so intently drawn to the Veil of Death during his time in the Department of Mysteries. If he truly bridges the gap between life and death, it means that Harry isn't fully alive.
What do you think about this theory? Could Harry's ownership of the cloak mean that he bridges the gap between death and life? Let us know in the comments!
Princess Sofia's First Encounter With Prince Carl Philip Was "Love at First Sight"
Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia first began dating in 2009, and they tied the knot in June 2015. Throughout their relationship, the couple has shared a handful of sweet moments together and welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby boy named Prince Alexander. But how exactly did the royal and the former reality TV star meet, you ask? Carl first laid eyes on Sofia during a lunch with mutual friends. After being introduced to one another, the couple admits they were shy at first, but Sofia called their encounter "love at first sight." "The first thing I noticed about Carl Philip was that he seemed very humble," Sofia revealed to Swedish channel TV 4 in June 2015, adding, "When I got to know him, I saw that he was incredibly natural, very intelligent, and very humble." Carl expressed similar sentiments, admitting, "I don't think I knew the magic of love before I met Sofia, but ever since I met her, I've seen how love can change a person." And the rest is history.

23 TV Characters We Wish We Could Match With on Tinder
Wouldn't it be great if dating apps gave us suggestions like Outlander's Jamie Fraser or Empire's Jamal Lyon instead of somehow finding yet another man holding a fish in his profile photo? 5 Reasons You Are a Failure at Applying Your Own Faux Eyelashes
You all tell me that you are incapable of applying false lashes.
You tell me about fiascos with glue and smeared eye makeup that happens right before a date or a party. You show me pictures of yourself on red carpets and at major business functions where your lashes are hanging on by a thread.
I really want you to learn how to apply lashes. Mostly because you deserve to have eyelashes. And secondly, if you know how to do it yourself, then I won't have to.
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love how a full set of eyelashes can transform a woman's look. I always encourage my clients, especially those who will be photographed, to have lashes applied. However, if I never had to glue on another lash, I would be thrilled.
Any makeup artist who tells you that he or she enjoys doing lashes is lying to your face.
Any makeup artist who tells you that he or she enjoys doing lashes is lying to your face. We all joined this profession because we love the magic of makeup. We enjoy applying skin care and color to make your features shine. We are artists and we love trying new products and techniques; we love completing a beautiful look; we love the "before" and "after." I don't think any of us are waking up in the morning and saying, "I really can't wait to stick objects slathered in crazy glue into women's eyeballs."
I have a hunch that many of you are all making the same mistakes, which is hindering your ability to apply these lashes properly.
Stop doing these five things and your whole life will change (and maybe mine will, too):
1. You are buying the wrong lashes
The brand doesn't matter as much as the style. Most artists I know regularly use cheap lashes that can be found at the drugstore, so don't worry about spending a lot of money on a luxury lash.
The eyelash section of a store can be very overwhelming as there are so many choices. Don't be tempted by that huge overdramatic pair of lashes. You are probably not ready for those. These heavy lashes look fun, but this whole endeavor can become like "the smoky eye." You like it in theory and you like it on celebrities on Instagram, but probability is high that you won't like it on yourself. Start small.
When you are first learning, it is a good idea to pick up a few inexpensive lashes in different lengths and styles to try to figure out which best suits you. My personal favorite is the Ever EZ Trio lashes by Kiss ($6). They are small little clusters of lashes that you can easily pluck onto your lash line with a pair of tweezers.
The beauty of these is that you can create a natural look with just two clusters or really pile them on for drama. They are easier to manage than a full strip or individuals and you can really hone your craft by practicing with these delights.
2. Your are using the despicable glue that came with the lashes
When you open up your faux lashes, inside you will find a little tube of "lash adhesive." Throw that in the garbage immediately. When you purchase your lashes, you will need to also purchase DUO lash glue($6).
It comes in clear, white, gray, or black. They are all great, but I like the white. You can see it when you are applying the lash and it dries clear. DUO is your insurance that you will not have lashes hanging off of your eyeball at your photo shoot. I have been known to cry, exercise, and shower with great success while wearing lashes adhered with DUO.
3. The glue you're using is cold and thin
The minute you open up your lashes and begin this process, the first thing you should do is squeeze a little puddle of glue onto the plastic lash holder. Let it sit for a minute while you apply eye base to your lid.
The glue needs to warm up and start to congeal a bit. As it thickens it will be easier to manage and it will adhere quicker to your lash line without slipping and sliding all over your lid.
4. You are squirting glue from the tube directly onto your lashes
Don't do this. Work from your little glue puddle using a pointy cotton swab. Dip the swab into the glue and gently coat the band of the lashes with just enough glue to cover it. This will not look like a lot of glue, but it is plenty to get the job done. A common mistake is squirting glue from the tube. You end up with way too much, and again, you will find the lashes slipping and sliding all over the place.
5. You're using your fingers
Once you are an expert, fingers can work fine, but if you are just figuring this all out, using tweezers really helps. The tweezers will help you to gently lift the lashes out of their container without damaging them and then you can easily pop them as close as possible to your natural lash line.
With these five tips you will be in great shape. People ask other questions like, "Should you put on your eye makeup before or after lash application," or "Should you apply mascara to the fake lashes?" There are no rules. Practice different methods and see what works best for you.
One last tip: after all of this hard work to prep for a hot date on a Saturday night, wouldn't it be nice to have these bombshell lashes on for Sunday brunch or maybe even for that Monday morning meeting?
Learn to sleep on your back.
