This Lebanese Bride's Custom Wedding Dress Was So Magical, It Got Its Own Hashtag
Dana Wolley is a fashion influencer located in the Middle East, and she's got quite the eclectic taste. You can imagine, then, that her wedding dress was not typical. In fact, Dana didn't just have one gown, but three special pieces that she wore for various ceremonies when she married Samer Zayat. The couple's nuptials took place this past Summer, but Dana just 'grammed a throwback photo that reminded us how magical her Esposa Prive silhouette was. It wasn't white, but a champagne shade that was covered in ornate beading and complemented by Mouawad jewels.
Dana danced the night away in Nicholas Kirkwood platforms that she called "the most comfortable bridal shoe ever." Needless to say, we'd sacrifice a little comfort for a heel complete with a genuine hand-picked pearl too. As unique as all the little details might be, we were struck most by the process of designing a dress from start to finish, which Dana documented on Instagram. Read on to see how she finally arrived at her majestic look, and check out the other outfits she slipped into before the reception even began.
This Mom Officially Wins For Throwing Her Son an Epic Birthday Party at Target
Every year Kara Cook works to throw her children creative birthday parties that reflect their interests but are also original. Since her little boy, Parker, happens to have a passion for Target, she felt that a red bullseye-inspired celebration at their local Target were the natural theme and venue for their next bash.
Even though Target doesn't actually host parties, Kara didn't let that stop her from making her son's dream a reality. A few weeks before the big day, she went to talk to a general manager and asked if they could make any arrangements for the children. While there was nothing official that could be done for the kids - like a tour of the backroom or lesson on the cash registers - this clever mom realized that there was nothing stopping her from taking the children to the store.
"He told me that we are customers and as long as we aren't disruptive, we shouldn't have a problem," Kara told POPSUGAR. "From that point forward, I started using the hashtag #LetsHopeWeDontGetKickedOut when posting my party prep."
When Kara sent out the invitations, she asked all of the guests to wear red shirts and khaki shorts. "Most of the parents responded that they had no idea Target did parties," Cook said. "I told them they don't, and we were crashing the place!"
Although she was nervous about how the party would be received by employees on the big day, as soon as they walked into the store, excited staff members greeted them for an afternoon filled with festive activities. Kara set up tables filled with balloons in the café and greeted kids with popcorn as well as name badge decorating and bracelet making stations. Then four parents led the children on a "Spot Bullseye!" scavenger hunt and they explored the store racing to solve five clues.
As their prize, the kiddos were treated to refreshing slurpees before a café lunch complete with hot dogs and soft pretzels, followed by homemade Bullseye the dog cake. The kids even got to choose their own party favors at the Dollar Spot and then checked out at a reserved cash register.
Although this isn't the typical birthday party theme or venue, Kara said that it turned out to be the easiest party she's ever put together. "The whole party from start to finish was only an hour and a half and was by far the easiest party I have ever planned . . . Even bringing the crafts, balloons, and cake into the store was easy because they have carts!" she said. "The biggest challenge was the anticipation on whether or not we could pull off the party."

Nicole Kidman on How Keith Urban Helped Her After Her Father's Sudden Death: "He Literally Picked Me Up"
Nicole Kidman opened up about life, love, and family during a recent interview with CBS Sunday Morning. In the segment, the Lion actress recalled how her husband, Keith Urban, helped her through her father Dr. Antony Kidman's sudden death in 2014. "I called him screaming and crying," she explained. "And he was about to go on stage. And he walked off stage and he got on a plane - he had just gotten there. He flew six hours and he was right back there. And he literally picked me up and pretty much carried me through the next two weeks." She also added that Keith and their daughters, Faith Margaret, 5, and Sunday Rose, 8, were a huge support system during that difficult time. "I had my children going, 'It's gonna be all right, Momma,'" she said. "It's interesting the way children view things, 'cause they're like, 'You still got your mommy.'"
On the topic of motherhood, the 49-year-old actress couldn't help but get emotional when the reporter, Tracy Smith, asked her what impression she would like to leave on the world. "I would just like to - it makes me sad - I would just like to be here long enough to have my children grow up and for me to see them thriving," she said through teary eyes. "That's all I ask. And that my husband and I are with each other. I'm an older mother, so, you know . . . It's that prayer of, 'Gosh, let me be here.'"
7 Fashion Movies to Watch That Are Not The Devil Wears Prada
Say "fashion movie" and most immediately think of The Devil Wears Prada. Though the adventures of Andy Sachs and Miranda Priestly will always have a special place in our hearts, there are other films out there with equally witty dialogue and stunning wardrobes. Take Sex and the City and The Huntsman: Winter's War, for example. Though the films are vastly different in genre, both have unforgettable costumes.
If you're like us, you determine the quality of a movie based on what the characters wear. And we completely support that. That's why we provided a list of all the fashion films you already love and alternative titles to try ASAP. Make some popcorn, pour yourself a glass of wine, and enjoy.
Feeling Fit? Here's How to Challenge Yourself More in 2017
I am a planner and I like setting goals. In fact, I need them. Especially when it comes to my fitness life, specific goals keep me motivated and active. Finding new challenges to keep your workouts feeling fresh can be difficult when you're already pretty fit. Nothing beats the beginner's mind when it come to tackling a new fitness goal. I remember when I started running, building up to the 5K mark was beyond motivating; when I hit that distance, I was left with the question of what's next? But you guys, the fitness world is so large - you can always find new challenges. With that in mind, here are a few ideas to consider as you turn your thoughts toward all the possibilities 2017 has to offer.
Running
- Up your distance. If you finished a 5K sign up for a 10K. Just conquered a half-marathon? Train for a marathon, with the emphasis on train. Increasing your mileage should always come with a plan that slowly builds to ensure you don't try to conquer too much too quickly and sideline yourself with an overuse injury, like runner's knee or shin splints.
- Try a tri. Mix up your training and sign up for a sprint-distance triathlon and really dedicate yourself to cross-training by adding swimming and biking into your weekly routine. If you're intimidated by swimming, sign up for a class or find a group that does open-water swims.
- Race with a relay team. Round up your like-minded friends and create a team for a long-distance relay, where 12-person teams cover 195+ miles over a 24-hour time period, like Oregon's Hood to Coast or a Ragnar Relay. These races mix the sleep-deprivation silliness of a slumber party with teamwork and distance running. Trust me, it's a great combo.
In the Gym
- Go heavy with power lifting. Lifting heavy weights is a great full-body workout. Find a gym that offers courses on power lifting and learn the differences between snatch, clean, and jerk as you heave barbells loaded with weight to your chest and above your head.
- Master the pull-up. Leave the weights behind and finally master the pull-up. This ultimate bodyweight exercise feels elusive to many women, well at least me, and pulling off five pull-ups is an excellent challenge to work toward. Yeah, this is on my list for 2017.
- Push your push-ups and conquer the burpee. You don't need to leave the comfort of your home to get stronger when you focus on push-ups - here's a 30-day challenge to work up to 50 push-ups. If burpees are your nemesis, try this burpee challenge that builds to 100 reps.
- Get classy. Push yourself out of your comfort zone and try a new group fitness class, preferably a workout that is out of your comfort zone - the activities we tend to avoid are often really beneficial. Hip-hop aerobics, yoga, indoor cycling, Pilates, Megaformer, boxing - the options are endless especially if you add some studio fitness classes into the mix. Heck, push yourself to try a new class once a month. You just might find your new jam.
- Certify your passion. Do you love yoga? Do you go to SoulCycle almost daily? Take your passion and get certified to train other people and inspire them to love what you love.
These Girls Can Seriously Lift!
Take It On the Road
- Take a hike; a long, long hike. Backpacking might not be considered a sport, but hiking for days and carrying all you need to survive is a physical challenge. And one that can take you to some amazing places. Spending time in nature is great for your mental health, too. Check out the John Muir Trail in California, the 2000 miles Appalachian Trail that runs from Georgia to Maine, or shorter trails in our beautiful National Parks.
- Ride a bike - anywhere. Hop on your bike weekly to run your weekend errands, sign up for century ride (yeah, that's 100 miles), or a fund-raising stage ride like AIDS/LifeCyle Ride.
- Start a community. Gather your like-minded friends and create a group dedicated to the activity you love, be it running, hiking, or cycling. Non-competitive clubs can be equal parts social and sport, and are great way to get your sweat on with a group.

Kendall Jenner Found Her Model Double - Then Hooked Her Up With a Job
When you take a peek at the Kendall + Kylie Spring 2017 images, you might mistake the lookbook model for Kendall herself. But that's not Ms. Jenner striking a pose in the clothes she designed - it's Russian model Kate Bogucharskaia. And though you might assume Kendall cast the 22-year-old because they look alike (and Kendall and Kylie clearly create collections based on their own sense of style), Kate Bogucharskaia walked the runway before Kendall did.
Making her debut during the Spring 2013 season at Louis Vuitton and Chloé, Kate has since scored plenty of editorials. She's represented by Next Agency, just like Arizona Muse and Kate Upton, whereas Kendall's repped by The Society Management. Nevertheless, their resemblance is pretty striking. Even their Instagram feeds have the same grunge-meets-sexy aesthetic. Read on to see Kate's photo shoot for Kendall + Kylie, then learn a few things about the girl who's about to make waves all on her own.

Dog Reunites With Her Owner After 2 Years and Has the Most Adorable Reaction Ever
After living and working in Slovenia for two years, Rebecca Ehalt returned home to Pennsylvania in July 2014 and shared a touching video of her reunion with the family dog. In the clip, Rebecca is greeted by the schnauzer - named Casey - who lets out a lot of high-pitched whimpers before passing out, as Rebecca describes it, "from overwhelming joy." Not only is Casey's reaction insanely adorable, but it's also totally understandable since Rebecca's two-year absence has been over a decade in dog years. Even though the video isn't exactly new, it's easy to see why it continues to go viral. Watch the sweet reunion video now.
Chocolate-Lovers Will Freak Out Over Starbucks's Newest Trio of Holiday Drinks

From Dec. 26 until Jan. 1, you can choose from a Tuxedo Mocha, Tuxedo Hot Chocolate, or a Tuxedo Frappuccino. If you're much more excited by the idea of drinking a tuxedo-like coffee drink than dressing in a fancy outfit, read ahead for details of each limited-edition drink.
Tuxedo Hot Chocolate: This starts with mocha sauce and white chocolate mocha sauce combined with steamed milk to create a swirl of dark and white chocolate. It's topped with whipped cream and mocha drizzle and finished with a sprinkle of dark chocolate curls.

Jason Momoa Jokes That He "Kinda Stalked" Wife Lisa Bonet Before They Met
Ever daydream about meeting your celebrity crush and making them instantly fall in love with you? While that seems like a lovely thought for most people, that's exactly what happened for Jason Momoa and wife Lisa Bonet. The pair has been making us swoon with their romance for more than 11 years now, and the beginning of their love story is just as magical as the memories they've shared in the years since they met. After watching her on The Cosby Show while growing up, the Justice League actor admits his crush on her stayed with him until they were finally introduced in 2005. "I was definitely . . . that was the first time when I was like, 'I want that one. I want her. I'm going to get her,'" he told Katie Couric of watching the show in 2014. "I didn't tell her until after we had our two children. But I told her . . . 'I kinda stalked ya. I was going to find ya.'"
Jason also opened up about the exact moment they crossed paths in 2005, telling The YBF, "We met through mutual friends. But when I first met her, she didn't know I was a stalker, but I was. I was with one of my best friends and when I turned around, and they were going to introduce us, literally, like, fireworks. She said, 'Hi, I'm Lisa,' and I said, 'Hi, I'm Jason,' and I just turn around to my buddy like . . . [freaking out]. Inside, I was like a little girl and I [deepened my voice] and tried to pull it together. She definitely makes me shy." It's official: nobody will ever be as romantic as Jason Momoa.
If You've Struggled With Body-Image Issues, This Is a Must Read
Curvy. Thick. Voluptuous. These are all words I've been hearing people call me for most of my life, and in my younger years, they all felt like an insult every single time.
For as long as I can remember, I've been just a little bit chubby. I was a chubby kid and a thick teenager, and now I'm a curvy woman.
An (Almost) Love Letter to My Thighs
In high school, I was incredibly healthy. I was too busy to eat too much and didn't have any interest in crappy food. I was a year-round cheerleader, so I had practice (which included running, weight-lifting, and tumbling) two hours a day, five days a week, in addition to basketball games, football games, and cheerleading competitions. I was strong, I was in shape, and I was still thick.
After one of my last cheerleading competitions my senior year in high school, a mom of a young girl on a different squad pulled me aside and thanked me. I asked her what she was thanking me for, and she told me I was a role model for her daughter who thought she was too heavy to be a successful cheerleader. She told me that when her daughter saw me out there, tumbling with my squad, she felt like she could grow up to do the same, despite what she weighed. At the time, I didn't know how to take that. At 18, I felt like she was telling me I was the fat cheerleader, and let's be honest, I already felt like I was. But thinking about it now, I realize how amazing it was to show that little girl that you don't have to be skinny to do the things you want to do. I flipped my fat ass over my head better than half the girls in that gym, and that little girl knew it.
Once I left high school and my daily activities shifted away from constant exercise and more toward TiVo and nap time (I was a really lazy college student), I realized I needed to make some serious changes to keep healthy. I started going to the university gym at least five times a week and tried not to eat anything stupid, but nothing worked. I started down a dangerous path that I nearly didn't pull myself out of.
But then I tried a doctor-monitored diet a few years later and lost about 50 pounds, still placing me on the "overweight" side of normal for my height by about five pounds. Maintaining that weight was not even close to manageable. I had a resting energy expenditure test done at the end of the weight-loss journey and found out that I literally have a metabolism slower than that of a middle-aged woman. With no activity, I barely burn a thousand calories a day, which surprised even the nutritionist who did the test for me. We tried the test twice to make sure there were no errors, and nope, I just have a really, really crappy metabolism.
I tried maintaining that weight. I was eating the healthiest (and littlest amount) I've ever eaten in my life, and I was exercising an average of an hour a day, seven days a week. No matter what I did, the weight crept back on. But I didn't really mind, because I was still really healthy and active.
But then I had a backslide. Just like always. Just like after every other diet I'd tried in my life - and I'd tried them all. I went back to living how I was used to and how I was comfortable, which included mostly healthy eating with treats here and there and exercise a few times a week. I was happy, I was healthy, and I was still thick.
I've come to realize that what's great about the world we live in today is that, even though it seems like models are getting thinner and thinner, society seems to be getting more and more comfortable with highly visible people who aren't stick-thin. I've got people from every angle preaching at me to love myself and be comfortable with who I am, but my brain just wouldn't accept that. My brain still wanted me to be skinny. It has been an unbelievably frustrating battle for virtually my whole life.
And now today, I'm what doctors would consider to be overweight, but you know what? I'm also really healthy. I even ran two half-marathons last year. I eat right, I exercise regularly, but my genes just don't want me to be skinny. No one in my family is skinny. It's just not going to happen. But if I'm healthy, does being skinny really matter? Sure, I'd love for shopping trips to be less stressful. I'd love to look in the mirror and not think my arms look terrible. I'd love for people to stop telling me that blaming my genes is an excuse. But I'm coming up on 30 now, and I've decided it's time to stop being mad at myself. It's time to stop constantly agonizing over the number on the scale and the number on the tag in my pants. It's time to embrace being thick. It's time to embrace being curvy.
It's time to love me.
The Simple Reason Prince William Doesn't Wear a Wedding Ring
When Prince William proposed to Kate Middleton in 2010, he gave her the stunning 12-carat oval blue Ceylon sapphire ring that his late mother, Princess Diana, wore during her marriage to Prince Charles. And when the two tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in London in 2011, Kate added a gold band to sit perfectly next to her sparkler. But despite the duchess of Cambridge's new jewelry, there was no big exchanging of rings, because Prince William never got one. The reason? It's just not his style. Shortly before the couple's big day, the palace released a statement about his decision to ditch tradition and go ringless, saying, "It is simply down to personal preference. It was something the couple discussed but Prince William isn't one for jewelry." Seeing as how William and Kate are one of the most famous couples on the planet, they would be hard-pressed to find someone who wasn't aware of their sweet romance. So there you have it.
