He posted a heartwarming drawing, which appears to have been made by a fan, of Carrie and Debbie embracing while dressed in their iconic film costumes. 38 Empowering Things You Can Say to Build Your Child's Confidence
It can be troubling as a parent when your child doesn't seem to feel as special as you know they are. Watching as a child endures a bout of low self-esteem can be difficult, because despite how amazing you tell your little one they are, you watch as they lack the confidence that you know they deserve to have. In a situation like this, don't let words fail you. Your child doesn't need to hear empty praise in order to feel good - instead opt for powerful praises that prove you not only see your child, but also value their internal strengths and not just physical attributes. Instead of complimenting your child by labeling them (like "you're so good at soccer!"), stick to these 38 meaningful ideas that will improve your kiddo's self-value without inflating their head.

1 Way to Hit Your Weight-Loss Resolution Every Month
The weight-loss goal is easily the most popular New Year's resolution of all time. Gyms flood in January, and markets are cleared out of their healthy staples like kale and quinoa. Then sometime around early February, no one remembers what a New Year's resolution even is, let alone what they're doing for their weight-loss goals.
The best way to approach this? Make yourself a strategy. Use one of these tips for each month of the year and fill out your calendar for 2017 with what you plan to do, January through December. These weight-loss tips have been proven to be effective - and they're impossibly simple to implement.
One month you'll be drinking more water, and the next trying new veggie recipes - but the common theme throughout the year is that you'll be hitting your weight-loss goals. Try these 12 tips in 2017 to have your most successful year yet . . . and don't forget about that gym membership you paid all that money for!
- Join a gym (or a boutique studio that you love): One of the first steps to moving more is committing yourself to a routine. Whether this is your local gym, or a yoga studio near your office, make it convenient. You won't go if it's too far away or has crazy hours that don't work with your schedule. Also, ensure that you love the style of exercise if it's a studio - you also won't go if you hate the workout!
- Get a tracker: Like a Fitbit or an Apple Watch, specifically! These trackers serve as constant reminders that you need to move more. You'll get little vibrations and notifications telling you to stand and move - some even tell you to run! Like tying a string around your finger to remind you of a task, these trackers go with you everywhere to remind you to make healthier choices.
- Try a new workout: Mixing it up is often the key to success - especially if you've hit a plateau. Challenge your body in new ways by trying a workout you've never done before. One month, pick this new activity you're interested in, and stick it out for the whole four weeks. Do it regularly, even if it's a challenge. Not only will you learn a new skill and mix things up for your body, but you'll feel stronger and more empowered, too.
- Try four new veggie recipes: Adding more vegetables to your diet is essential to weight loss. Find the ones you actually love, and your favorite way to prepare them so you can fall back on your own staple healthy recipe all year long. Not a fan of brussels sprouts? Try a zucchini recipe. Keep going until you find what you love.
- Add a vegetable to every meal: We spoke with one woman who told us this was one of the keys to her success - and she lost over 100 pounds! Adding something green to each meal (yes, even breakfast!) will help you get the nutrients you need all day long and create better, long-lasting, healthy habits.
- Cut out sugar for one week: Longer if you can! If you find that you're totally addicted to sugar, that can be a major obstacle in your weight-loss journey. Set aside a week to eliminate processed and added sugars - natural sugar is OK! If you can keep going, aim for three weeks; that's how long it'll take you to really break a habit.
- Learn how to count macros . . . and track them for one week to start: Macros are the fats, protein, and carbohydrates in your diet - and the way you balance them can help you lose weight. Start with recipes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to get a better idea of what your food can look like with macro counting.
- Drink a glass of water before every meal: Did you know that our brains often confuse thirst for hunger? Drinking more water - especially before meals - can help control appetite and help you lose weight.
- Get eight hours of sleep every night: Celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak listed sleep as a massive component to weight-loss success. You'll have more energy for your workouts and more alertness to make better dietary choices.
- Eat more (healthy) breakfasts: Make it your goal to always eat a healthy breakfast, but one month this year, learn a new breakfast recipe, and make it at least twice a week. Breakfast can kickstart your metabolism, curb a sweet tooth, and control appetite - all leading to weight loss!
- Practice mindful eating: Slow down, pause, put your fork down between bites. If overeating or eating too quickly has been a challenge for you, this is an essential practice to take up. Choose a month to practice your mindful eating with every single meal. You might be able to stop food cravings for good!
- Focus on digestion: Take one month to focus on digestion-friendly foods (lots of fiber!), probiotics, and even a digestion-aiding practice like acupuncture or traditional Chinese medicine. By keeping things regular, you'll feel better, lighter, and slimmer.

100 Unusual Boy Names
Are you on the hunt for an unusual baby boy name? We've looked at the United States Social Security Administration's list of the most popular names and rounded up an A-to-Z of 100 rare boy names. Using a ranking system where 1 is the most common name, these unique boy names all have a rank of 901 or greater! But before we reveal the names, here are a few interesting trends we noted among them.
Unusual and Trendy Boy Names
Although they're less commonly used, some of the names on this list still follow recent trends. Agustin and Thaddeus fit into the Roman and Greek trend, while Houston is part of the place-name trend. Biblical names are here as well (Jeremiah and Enoch), as are creative spellings in the form of Brice, Donte, Trystan, and Zackery.
Unusual Celebrity Boy Names
Just as famous figures may drive a name up the charts, they may also keep a name relatively uncommon. Looking at some of the names in the list, not many parents are giving their boys the names Clinton, Nixon, Elvis, Hendrix, Franco, Hugh, Quinten, and Coen, all of which are associated with famous figures in the political and entertainment realms.
Unusual Boy Names Starting With S?
As you look at the A to Z, you'll notice that a few letters are missing. We looked at the names ranked 901 to 1,000 by the Social Security Administration (they don't publish name rankings beyond 1,000), and surprisingly, there wasn't an S name to be found! Other letters that escaped the bunch are U, W, and X.

If Disney Characters Were Millennials
The Disney world can be a little too perfect at times, and it's probably because the characters didn't have the Internet to f*ck things up. We've seen Disney princesses in a different light before, but nothing like these comics, first posted on Dorkly, which were created by artist Justin Hall.
The hilarious strip depicts how your favorite Disney characters' lives play out in the digital age that we're all familiar with. Peep the illustrations, but be warned - you may never see them the same way again, especially Andy.

8 Natural Ingredients You Need to Look For When Choosing Skin Care Products
If your New Year's resolution is to make your beauty routine greener, then start by getting educated. Lackluster skin can get its glow back by relying on more natural and organic products. But first, you need to know what ingredients to look for.
Conventional dry-skin remedies often contain synthetic ingredients, like petroleum jelly and silicones, that sit on top of skin rather than soaking in. This barrier means the skin can't draw moisture from the air or properly dispel toxins. Your skin may seem softer when you first begin using them, only to be left more dry and irritated in the long term. Worse still, ingredients like dimethicone (used to give products a smooth, slippery feel) are known to cause skin irritation and clog pores, and petrolatum has links to cancer-causing contaminants.
Dehydration isn't the only skin issue to crop up in chilly months. Redness, inflammation, eczema, and even acne come along for the ride. Thankfully, there are natural ingredients that moisturize, heal, and calm skin effectively. And with no nasty side effects. Let's take a look.
Aloe vera
This cooling, lightweight moisturizer may seem better suited to hot weather, but its ability to prevent irritation, heal cold sores, and treat eczema and psoriasis makes it a Winter essential, too. Those with sensitive or irritated skin will benefit from this soother.
Try Osmia Organics Purely Simple Face Cream ($60) made with aloe for hydration that calms upset skin.
Chamomile
Dry skin can quickly lead to redness and inflammation. If you are in the red zone, chamomile will help. This skin-calming ingredient contains bisabolol, a natural compound known for its anti-inflammatory properties, beneficial in treating eczema and other irritable skin issues. The herb also holds skin lightening and brightening properties, which give the complexion a boost of radiance.
Éminence Calm Skin Chamomile Moisturizer ($58) contains chamomile and other natural ingredients to comfort upset skin.
Coconut oil
It seems this natural ingredient conquers all beauty issues, and Winter skin is no exception. Use coconut oil to heal dry skin, soothe irritation, calm eczema, and eliminate breakouts due to dry skin. It soaks easily and is suitable to most skin types.
When shopping for coconut oil, always choose organic virgin coconut oil, like Cocovit Coconut Oil ($38), and steer clear of refined coconut oil, which is often chemically treated. This multiuse ingredient may be applied to face, lips, body, hands, and hair.
Honey
This natural ingredient holds more benefits than simply satisfying your sweet tooth. Honey is softening and heals dry, irritated skin. It has moisturizing properties and is naturally antibacterial, so it helps to prevent breakouts.
May Lindstrom The Honey Mud ($80) combines raw honey, natural clay, and plant oils to cleanse, nourish, and hydrate the skin. It is ideal for combating roughness, clogged pores, and dryness.
Neem oil
Neem oil is a staple in Ayurvedic beauty and has the ability to treat many skin conditions. Whether you're dealing with irritation, breakouts, inflammation, or redness, this natural oil can rescue skin. Neem offers nongreasy moisture while it smooths and clears.
Pratima Skincare Healing Neem Oil ($40) may be used as a cure-all for problem skin conditions or to protect the skin from wind burn, excessive dryness, and chapping. It's mild enough for use on face and body.
Sea buckthorn oil
Sea buckthorn is moisturizing, calming, and healing and is possibly the best oil you can include in your Winter skin care arsenal. This natural oil is suitable for most skin types and, because of its natural orange hue, gives sallow skin a beautiful glow. It is also lightweight and easily absorbed.
Kahina Giving Beauty Serum ($90) may be applied to clean skin or patted over your daily moisturizer.
Sea salt
This oceanic ingredient works wonders at softening and soothing dry, rough skin. It is also a natural detoxifying ingredient, drawing out impurities and revitalizing the complexion. Use Kypris Beauty Deep Forest Clay ($88) to relieve itchiness and discomfort, moisturize, and exfoliate.
Shea butter
That superrich, ultraemollient ingredient you are looking for this season is shea butter. It hydrates, protects, and repairs skin efficiently. It can be slathered on the face, lips, hands, feet, and body, making it a good all-purpose one to pack for ski weekends.
For intensive treatment, apply Kahina Giving Beauty Lip & Face Balm ($44) before turning in for the night.

Photo of Premature Twins Meeting For the First and Last Time Will Bring You to Tears
At just 25 weeks pregnant, Charmaine Winsor knew something wasn't right with her twins.
After an initial doctor's appointment told her that the pain and bloating she was experiencing was normal for a mom carrying two babies, days later a cardiologist delivered devastating news: the twins were suffering from Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome.
TTTS is a disease of the placenta that can occur in identical twin pregnancies when vital nutrients from the placenta aren't shared equally, which causes one twin to have a decreased blood volume. Charmaine and her husband, Cameron, were told that their baby boys wouldn't survive the night if they didn't deliver them. Despite Charmaine's fears of the effect of a premature birth, Connor and Levi were born two hours after she was admitted to the hospital for an emergency C-section.
"TTTS is a heartbreaking disease and I know if I was given more information on it early in my pregnancy, I may have been able to try and fix it," Charmaine told POPSUGAR Moms.
TTTS had taken its toll on Connor's body and though both boys were fighting for their lives, Connor was by far the most sick. Seven days later, Connor passed away and a member of hospital staff immediately placed the boys side by side. They had arranged for Heartfelt, a charity network of photographers who volunteer to capture images for parents of terminally ill children or those who have experienced a stillbirth, to come in.
"They placed Connor with Levi straight away and Heartfelt took amazing photos of my boys together for the first and last time," Charmaine said. "That photo is my favorite because it shows that they got to touch each other and be that close again. It's a photo I'll always cherish."
After a frightening 156-day fight in the NICU, Levi was eventually able to go home. His parents are sharing their difficult journey in the hopes of raising awareness for TTTS. "It's a horrible disease to go through and though there are many miracle stories of the amazing babies that live, there's also the other side of the disease - thousands of twinless twins out there from TTTS," Charmaine said. "Infant loss and stillbirth are still very taboo subjects and parents shouldn't be ashamed to share their babies whether they are alive or have grown their wings."
Can You Refreeze Raw Meat After Thawing?
It's probably fair to say that every omnivorous home cook has wondered at some point or another whether it's OK to refreeze that piece of steak after thawing it out and realizing it won't need to be made after all. The short answer? Yes, you can - but you may not want to.
According to the USDA, when raw meat is thawed in the refrigerator, it is safe to refreeze it without cooking. For this reason, it's perfectly all right to purchase, say, a previously frozen piece of salmon, and then put it in your freezer when you get home. But if you refreeze thawed poultry or meat, you will be compromising quality of taste and texture. Not only does meat lose water during the defrosting process, but refreezing it also creates ice crystals within the structure of the meat that alter its fibers, leaving an unfortunately dry cut of meat.
Of course, like all raw animal protein, the true safety of the product will depend on whether it's been properly handled. The best ways to defrost raw meat are in the refrigerator, in cold water, or in the microwave - not on a room-temperature kitchen counter.

Sofia Vergara's Sexy Dance Moves Were the Best Moment of This Year's Award Season - Hands Down!
Pitbull brought all the high-energy Latin flavor to the 2016 Grammy Awards stage in February. Mr. Worldwide - who won his first Grammy ever for his Spanish-language album Dale in a tie with Natalia Lafourcade - made Latinos everywhere proud with his sexy show-closing performance, featuring his hit "El Taxi" and his single with Travis Barker, Joe Perry, and Robin Thicke, "Bad Man."
Oh, and did we mention Sofia Vergara was there? On stage? Dancing? Because she was, and it was the best moment of award season without a question. The Colombian-born Modern Family actress slipped out of an "El Taxi" prop as Pitbull mentioned her name on his song and started shaking her hips in a short and sparkly gold dress. We're really not sure how anyone stayed seated at the Staples Center after that. Watch it all go down above - it's literally a performance you have to see over and over to believe.
Rob Kardashian Leaves the Hospital After Suffering a Diabetic Attack
This post has been updated with new information.
After being rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night, Rob Kardashian appears to be stable. A source told People magazine that the 29-year-old reality star - who struggles with type 2 diabetes - went to West Hills Hospital and was soon joined by fiancée Blac Chyna as well as mother Kris Jenner and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble, after suffering a diabetic attack. According to reports, he checked out of the hospital around 10 a.m. on Thursday morning. "He's been so stressed out so [he's] not taking care of himself or eating right," a source told Us Weekly. "Stress affects his diabetes." In an interesting turn of events, Rob was hospitalized almost exactly one year ago today for intense bouts of vomiting and for refusing to take his insulin. At the time he told People, "[It] felt like I was going to die." Hopefully the new dad will be fully recovered soon.
We Need to Talk About That Hot Mesh Swimsuit Jennifer Lawrence Wears in Passengers
It's not uncommon for us to leave the movie theater itching to shop. This year gave way to plenty of films packed with stylish looks, from Natalie Portman's Chanel suit in Jackie to Emma Stone's yellow dress in La La Land. While you might not expect Passengers to be a film that sparks your fashion senses, it turns out Jennifer Lawrence couldn't leave us hanging.
The actress, who plays Aurora, wears a white mesh one-piece throughout a handful of scenes, including the clip below. Its zipper-front closure lends it a sporty touch, but the piece reminds us of a lingerie bodysuit, making it equally sexy. If you're headed somewhere warm, it's just the right time to pick up the Melissa Odabash design. But even if you're stationed at home, why not invest in some trusty, flattering swimwear and keep it on the back burner? Obviously J Law would approve.

There's officially a silver lining in 2016 - a Champagne vending machine exists. Yes, you read that correctly. Whereas regular vending machines are typically stocked with sodas and junk food, this adults-only version is here to satisfy those bubbly cravings on the go.
The one-of-a-kind machine, which is filled to the brim with Moët & Chandon Champagne, is located on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Keep reading for photos and videos of the glorious invention that will fulfill all of your emergency drinking needs.
This Harry Potter Theory About the Marauder's Map Makes SO Much Sense
One of the biggest Harry Potter plot holes - one that bugged me for years - is how Harry (and Fred and George) never noticed Peter Pettigrew (then posing as Scabbers the rat) on the Marauder's Map. I mean, the map shows literally everything that's going on at Hogwarts, and you'd think/hope that the holder would catch important little details like that a deceased man was sleeping in Ron Weasley's bed. The story of Sirius Black and Peter Pettigrew's infamous standoff was well-known throughout the wizarding world, so it's unlikely that Fred and George wouldn't have recognized the name on the map and questioned it if they'd seen it. So why, when Ron arrived at Hogwarts with "Scabbers," and for the years following, did no one notice that someone who was supposed to be dead was actually roaming the corridors of the castle?
A theory on Tumblr makes complete sense, considering that the creators of the Marauder's Map were illegal Animagi. James Potter, Sirius Black, and Peter Pettigrew wouldn't have wanted to show up on the map while on their numerous and highly dangerous adventures with Remus Lupin, so it's likely they used their remarkable magical skills to protect their identities. In doing so, they also blocked other Animagi from showing up on the map - but only when they were in animal form.
Since Pettigrew was obviously forced to stay in rat form throughout the duration of his time at Hogwarts with Ron, he wouldn't have showed up on the map when Fred, George, and later Harry, were using it. This also explains why Rita Skeeter was able to flit around the castle in beetle form digging up dirt on everyone she could without being found out on the Marauder's Map. Read the full theory and explanation ahead.
Jennifer Lopez Doesn't Have Drake as Her Arm Candy - She Has Something Better
After sending us all into a spiral of emotion by posting a cuddly Instagram photo with Drake, Jennifer Lopez made a solo shopping outing in Los Angeles with something even better on her arm: a highlighter-yellow Hermès Birkin bag.

Hearing Jennifer Garner Telling Kids to Go the F*ck to Sleep Will Be the Highlight of Your Day
When it comes to celebrity moms, no one epitomizes the role quite like Jennifer Garner. The mom-of-three (Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Sam, 4) personifies the role of the modern mom both on screen and off. But sometimes, even celebrity moms really just want their kids to go to sleep. And they're just as likely to lose their patience as we are, begging their kids to just go to sleep already.
Which is probably why hearing the star of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day and the upcoming Miracles From Heaven read Adam Mansbach's expletive-filled children's book Go the F*ck to Sleep for Vanity Fair is a video made in heaven.
Lounging poolside, Garner, who's been extremely candid about her split from Ben Affleck recently, uses her trademark sugary-sweet voice to implore her children to go to bed with lines like, "I know you're not thirsty, that's bullsh*t, stop lying. Lie the f*ck down, my darling, and sleep."
Watch the video and enjoy, knowing that you're not alone in your expletive-filled nightly routine!
If You're Looking to Be Healthier in 2017, Start With These 10 Tips Now
"I want to eat healthier" is a common goal we all share, so here are 10 changes you can make to your diet to help you feel more energetic and less bloated and to support your immune system and your weight goals. Don't feel like you need to make every one of these changes all at once. Choose one or two that seem the most doable, stick with those for a week or two, and make the other changes as you feel ready.
- Eat veggies at every meal: If you only eat veggies at dinner time, this tip is for you! Include veggies at every meal, even breakfast. Try mashed beans in your oatmeal or cucumber in your smoothie. And instead of snacking on processed carbs like crackers, go for carrot chips to satisfy crunchy, salty cravings.
- Include protein, fiber, and healthy fats at every meal: This is the magical trifecta to help you feel full and satisfied and to stabilize blood sugar levels. Choose lean proteins, whole grains, produce, and legumes for fiber and avocado, nuts, seeds, and olive oil for healthy fats.
- Have one huge salad as a meal once a day: Whether it's a quinoa and black bean mason jar salad for lunch or a roasted butternut squash and kale salad for dinner, eating a salad for one meal not only helps you get your share of fiber and veggies, but since it's low in calories, it'll help you lose or maintain weight.
- Make lunch your biggest meal: Consuming more calories midday than at breakfast or dinner ensures you have enough time to burn all those calories. Think of lunch as about 40 percent of your total daily calories.
- Eat until you're 80 percent full: Down with the clean plate club! Instead of putting the fork down when your plate is empty, eat slowly, and pay close attention to how your belly feels so you can stop eating when you're satisfied but not stuffed.
- Go vegan once a week: To encourage you to eat veggies, fruits, legumes, and whole grains, pick one day a week to go vegan. Skipping meat, dairy, and eggs will allow you to focus on eating all those plant-based foods experts are always telling us to eat more of.
- Swap artificial and processed sweeteners for natural sources: Studies show eating artificially sweetened foods and beverages makes you feel more hungry, so you'll end up eating more total calories. As for refined white sugar, the more we eat it, the more we crave it - sugar addiction is real! Plus studies show eating sugar actually ages you and has been linked to cancer, liver damage, heart failure, and other serious conditions. It can also make you feel bloated and foggy-headed. Avoid the obvious culprits such as candy, desserts, and soda, and also avoid processed foods, as these contain tons of hidden sugars. When sweet cravings strike, go for fresh or dried fruit or these healthy dessert recipes.
- Be consistent about meal planning: Choose one day a week where you can devote a few hours to plan, shop, and prep meals and snacks for the week. You'll not only save time and money, but you're more likely to stay on the healthy path once you have that intention set for the week.
- Put down the salt shaker: Too much sodium not only affects your blood pressure, but it can also damage your organs and tissues and cause that bloated feeling that leaves you feeling sluggish and uncomfortable. Aim for no more than 2,400 mg a day (under 1,500 mg is even better) by avoiding processed foods that are high in sodium - make sure to read the labels because even bread, dressings, and sauces can contain obscene amounts. And don't reach for the salt shaker out of habit. Season your food with fresh herbs or garlic instead. Also go for unsalted nuts and seeds and the butters made from them.
- Indulge once a day: Don't give any foods up completely. Denying yourself the bites you crave can backfire, causing you to feel deprived, resulting in bingeing and feeling depressed. So make a point to keep yourself happy and your cravings satisfied by allowing a small treat every day, such as a square of dark chocolate or a small glass of wine.
