21 Alternative Facts That Would Make Raising Kids So Much Easier

Ever wish some things would just go your way as a parent? Our friends at YourTango understand and have rounded up a list of "alternative facts" that would make life just a little simpler.

#12: When poop settles in the training potty, it resembles something other than a snake.

No one said being a parent would be easy. We knew sleepless nights and sibling fights would be part of the deal, but we were prepared to push through all manner of parenting drudgery for what promised to be an immense payoff: the gift of having children and witnessing the magic they create.

Now, as we watch our toddlers destroy grocery stores and eat grass, we can't help but wish that parenting them was just a bit easier. On cue, in steps our administration with "Alternative Facts," a movement that allows people to create realities exempt from actual facts. And people say the federal government shouldn't be involved in our daily lives.

With this in mind, what follows is a list of 21 alternative facts that would make raising small children SO much easier. No, alternative facts are not facts. But here's to wishing they were.

  1. Laundry machines retrieve dirty clothes from under beds, wash, dry, fold and sort, and print money to pay for detergent.
  2. The Tooth Fairy is real and carries twenties.
  3. The Elf on the Shelf can move himself.

  7. Toddlers eat green things other than sprinkles, gummy bears, and gummy worms.
  8. Fellow parents keep parenting advice to themselves, particularly when their advice isn't solicited.
  9. When asked to share their toys, toddlers smile and say, "What took you so long?"
  10. When asked to clean up after themselves, toddlers smile and say, "And when I'm done, can I vacuum and take out the trash?
  11. The Frozen magical rising castle is as big as it looks on the box.
  12. When poop settles in the training potty, it resembles something other than a snake.

  20. Birthday parties can be held inside a Mister Softee truck.
  21. Target holds special Free Play sessions for toddlers. One hour. No parents, no rules, no cleanup. Just destruction.

In This Super Bowl Commercial, a Secret Society Tells Us What We Already Knew About Avocados

In anticipation of the Super Bowl on Feb. 5, Avocados From Mexico released their commercial which will air during the big game. In the ad, members of a secret society meet to address information that has been getting leaked out to the public. No, it's not the "notion" that the moon landing was fake - it's about avocados being healthy.

In a hilarious exchange, one member says, "What they do know is that Avocados From Mexico have good fats." Another member asks, "So, they know they're healthy?" To which he replies, "They know everything." Watch the commercial in its entirety before the game, above.

Avocados From Mexico previously shared bizarre and intriguing teaser for the full-length ad. Eat it!" Shortly after a bout of maniacal laughter, he adds, "Come and get it hipsters."

20 Absurd Struggles Only Millennials Could Understand

If you fall into the category of being a millennial, chances are you've been told you're entitled, lazy, and too connected to the Internet. While none of these characteristics may apply to you, or even encompass what it means to be part of the generation, the time has come to embrace the title.

Being in this group means growing up on the cusp of using AIM and Facebook. Some of us might still even read paperback books. Ahead, check out 21 things only our generation would understand. Let's cheers to our smartphones, laptops, and really, all technology - we wouldn't know who we'd be without it. (Probably still entitled, right?) Read the list, celebrate the millennials of the world, and while you're at it, take all the selfies you want.

No Star Has Ever Pulled a Style Switch-Up Like Selena Gomez

It takes a lot of confidence to completely revamp your look, especially when you're in the public eye. Selena Gomez knows a thing or two about that. The performer has managed to successfully define her style from the street to the red carpet to the stage, but as they say, "it takes a village." Selena credits much of her transformation to stylist Kate Young, who she began working with in 2015 while promoting her Revival tour.

Before that, she developed a relationship with Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquière, and he's dressed her for many events. Selena has become a face of the brand, repping her favorite fashion house at the Met Gala and beyond. In 22 photos, you can see how she's held onto her sex appeal but embraced sophistication, all while managing to keep her feet firmly planted on the ground. Of course, it helps when you're rocking Louis Vuitton's sturdy platform boots.

Is There a TV Costar Curse? 33 Couples That Couldn't Make It Work

Remember how bummed we were when The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder broke up? Luckily they've been able to remain friends, but they certainly aren't the first TV costars to strike up (and then end) a romantic relationship - small-screen duos like Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, and Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron also hooked up during their downtime, and leading ladies like Jennifer Garner, Emily VanCamp, and Sophia Bush were lucky enough to find love on more than one set. Scroll through to see 33 couples that took their love off screen - and even worked together well past their demise.

This Teen's Foot Was Punctured by Her Phone Charger, but That's Not Even the Grossest Part

When 18-year-old Julia Pechar sustained a serious foot injury one evening, she did as all teens these days apparently do and shared the evidence with social media. It all started when the high school senior was watching Netflix and waiting for her popcorn to pop. When she heard the microwave go off, she sprang out of bed and landed right on her iPhone charger, which punctured her foot. Yes, seriously.

"Right before I screamed for my mom to come rip it out of me, I crawled to my phone to take a picture," she told BuzzFeed. I mean, that's everyone's natural response to sustaining a serious injury, right? Julia shared photos of her injury on Twitter, along with a fairly concerning snapshot of her disheveled room. She tweeted, "When your room is this messy, you have to accept the consequences of not being able to see where you step."

To be honest, my inner neat freak is getting squeamish just looking at her messy room, not even her pronged foot. Although the injury doesn't appear too gruesome, Julia confirmed to BuzzFeed that there was, in fact, a pretty messy situation. "For all of the people demanding blood, yes, it did bleed . . . a lot. It still is," she said.

Her photos quickly went viral, garnering more than 11,000 retweets and a mix of replies from other internet users. Some people were generally concerned for her well-being.

Most were overall pretty grossed out at her injury.

Others couldn't handle the messy state of her room.

And still another chunk of internet trolls picked apart oddly specific elements of her photos.

Despite these mixed reactions, it looks like Julia is on the road to recovery. Let's just hope she tidies up that room ASAP.

This Magical Rainbow Fan Brush Looks as If It Were Made With Unicorn Hair

In just the past few months, we've seen magic-wand-inspired brushes, unicorn horn tools, and even mermaid-tail-themed brushes, which have all added a dose of magic to our makeup bags. But right when we thought the well of creativity had run dry for beauty tool makers, the team behind those incredible mermaid brushes and makeup bags came up with this whimsical essential.

The Spectrum Jumbo Rain Glow Fan Brush ($25) features a large brush head approximately the size of one's palm with fanned-out bristles in vibrant gradating hues. (Plus, it has a glitter-coated handle.) Use it to strobe or to add a sun-kissed glow to your cheekbones, shoulders, and décolletage.

As much as it looks like it could be made from the hair of a unicorn's tail, the brand is entirely vegan and cruelty-free. (Whew!) Read on to see more images of the majestic beauty tool, then snag it from Spectrum Brushes.

Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" Suddenly Sounds Sexier When You Watch This Dance Routine

Ed Sheeran released his single "Shape of You" earlier this month, and while we love the song a lot, "let's dance to this" was not exactly a thought that crossed our minds - until now. Choreographer Kyle Hanagami shared a video to YouTube recently showing a group of dancers performing an upbeat, sexy routine to the song, and it might change the way you listen to it from now on. Watch the video above now, then see the song's official music video.

The Only 2 Ways to Make Your Kid's Next Party an Even Bigger Hit With Parents

Six years into this whole parenting game, I've learned a thing or two about kids' birthday parties - the good, bad, and ridiculous. Good: your kids absolutely love them. Bad: they're a pain in the ass to plan, execute, and, if you decide to throw one at home, recover from (prepare to find popped balloons, plastic straws, and party favors all over your house for months). Ridiculous: they can be insanely expensive once you factor in food, a cake, presents, decorations, a possible rental space, and favors.

I'm still trying to find the magic formula that makes my child's next birthday party feel more like fun than work for me, but I have cracked the code when it comes to how to make that happen for the parent of every other child on the guest list. It's simple: either let them drop off their kid and run, or get them just a little bit drunk.

Think about the last birthday party that you had to attend for a friend of your kids. It was torture, right? You were forced to stand around and make small talk with a bunch of moms you barely know, only to discover not knowing them is a preferable state of being; you watched somebody else's kid open presents and blow out candles, then wrestled your own sugar- and adrenaline-laced child into the car kicking and screaming when you literally couldn't take it anymore. Not so fun, right?

I handed the host a gift, snuck out the door, and had two blissful hours by myself.

You know what is fun? Two to three hours of babysitting for the price of a Barbie! The first time my daughter was invited to a drop-off party, she was almost 5 and I was confused. This was a thing? Was I a bad mom for opting out of watching her dress up like a princess and drink seven juice boxes for two hours? As soon as I saw that every other mom was throwing their kid in the door and jetting, I got it. I handed the host a gift, snuck out the door, and had two blissful hours by myself while my husband stayed home with our baby and thought I was supervising a game of Duck, Duck, Goose. Genius.

Of course, I had to pay it forward. Soon after, I threw my own drop-off party for my daughter, where I learned that not only is it awesome for the moms leaving their kids behind, but it's also pretty great for the host. I got to spend two hours at a local kid party hot spot, It's a Girl Thing, chatting with my mom and watching my daughter have the time of her life (see photo above; she's the one in the hot pink fairy dress that has probably been worn by 200 girls and never been washed), instead of making small talk with the other moms, only two of whom I actually knew well.

However, there will be times when your kids are too small for a drop-off party or you are friendly enough with the kid guests' parents that they kind of want to stay that hosting adults at your child's party is a necessity. Then there's only one thing you must do, and that's stock the bar.

If you are going to have a party where a bunch of relative strangers are forced to socialize, pretend they're interested in whatever Lego set your kid is unwrapping, and participate in a rousing game of Limbo, the least you can do is give them a couple of drinks. And I'm not talking about Trader Joe's cheapest wine and a case of beer you stopped drinking in college. At least serve the $9 bottle of wine you uncork nightly for yourself. And pour yourself a glass or two. If nothing else, it will help you cope with the disaster zone your house has become once they all leave.

These Peeks of Jason Momoa as Aquaman Prove That He's the Perfect Casting Choice

In case his crazy Justice League workout regimen or the first look behind the scenes didn't convince you that Jason Momoa is perfect for the role of DC Comics' Aquaman (a trident-wielding half-god also known as Arthur Curry), we've rounded up all the peeks we've gotten at the highly anticipated Atlantian hero. Momoa's hulking stature, no-nonsense gaze, and ability to rock tattoos lend him the perfect look for embodying director Zack Snyder's new take on the beloved hero, and the actor's pioneering attitude and respect for the sea mean that he's inwardly suited for the role also.

Both interviews with Momoa and social media snaps about about his new role reveal that he's ridiculously excited to pick up Aquaman's trident - especially because he'll be able to portray his Polynesian heritage in the role. Check out these incredible moments from the filming of Justice League: Part One and Aquaman's brief appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Once you see how powerful, passionate, and intimidating Momoa appears in the role, you'll barely be able to wait for next year's Justice League premiere! (If that is indeed the case, then here are all the shots you need of him from the Justice League trailer.)

6 Quick Facts About Myla Dalbesio, the Model Who Will Be Everywhere in 2017

Get ready - you'll be hearing the name Myla Dalbesio a lot more this year. Myla, who was Calvin Klein's first plus-size lingerie model in 2014, landed another huge honor this week as a Sports Illustrated rookie. The swim shoot took place on a beach (as expected) and the model's completely uncovered, save for a body chain and bikini bottoms. The moment was a special one for Myla, who has been vocal about media representation of all body types and sizes.

"I hope that this can be an example for other women to continue to stand strong in their convictions and not be afraid to use their voice," she said on Instagram. "And for girls in the industry, I hope this is reassurance that you don't need to have 1 million followers to be noticed. You can still be judged by the quality of work you do and the person you are. Which, I think, is something to celebrate."

Myla joins the ranks of other curvy SI ladies like Ashley Graham, who's known for celebrating her "plus-size" figure, too. She even congratulated Ashley on her own swim shoot a while back, saying, "So proud of you Ashley, and all your triumphs. It's been so exciting watching you ascend over the years." Here's hoping one day the two will meet. Until then, read on for some quick facts about Myla and then check out Chrissy Teigen's SI snaps too.

Iranian Director Makes a Bold Statement About His Decision to Skip the Oscars

On Sunday, acclaimed Iranian director Asghar Farhadi released a statement via the New York Times saying he has decided not to attend this year's Oscars. Farhadi, whose film The Salesman has graced the nominations list as a candidate for best foreign film, offered quite a few strong words for President Donald Trump's ban on refugees. The director explained how he had originally planned to attend the ceremony and use the opportunity to talk to the press about the current state of affairs, but in light of the ban, there's a noted uncertainty attached to that. While it's imperative to read the full length of the statement, this excerpt is perhaps the sentiment that resonates the loudest:

"It now seems that the possibility of this presence is being accompanied by ifs and buts, which are in no way acceptable to me even if exceptions were to be made for my trip . . . To humiliate one nation with the pretext of guarding the security of another is not a new phenomenon in history and has always laid the groundwork for the creation of future divide and enmity. I hereby express my condemnation of the unjust conditions forced upon some of my compatriots and the citizens of the other six countries trying to legally enter the United States of America and hope that the current situation will not give rise to further divide between nations."

This Tuesday, the American Film Institute vocalized strong support for Farhadi. "The AFI Conservatory stands with artists and filmmakers who find the power of creation through freedom of expression and freedom of movement," AFI's statement said. "We believe any form of censorship - including the restriction of travel - to be against all values we cherish as a community of storytellers. We look forward to welcoming Mr. Farhadi back to AFI in the Fall." Farhadi already has on best foreign film Oscar under his belt; A Separation won that honor in 2012. If he wins again this year, though, he won't be there to accept the award. Perhaps that absence will make a louder statement than one of the many political acceptance speeches we assume will descend upon the night.

Wondering What Corinne From The Bachelor Does For a Living? Here's What We Could Dig Up

The latest season of The Bachelor is on now, and and we've been getting to know the ladies competing for Nick Viall's heart. While the contestants usually have some unique job titles, there are actually quite a few established career women this go around. One in particular, however, is business owner Corinne Olympios. Even though she doesn't specify what type of business she manages on the show, Romper discovered a company called Armor Garage, which supplies epoxy coatings and flooring products to the U.S. military, Fortune 500 companies, shops, and home owners. It's run by James Olympios, who may have a relative named Corinne, who may or may not be the Bachelor star.

Running her parents' multimillion-dollar company isn't her only occupation. The 24-year-old also has profiles up on ExploreTalent and Model Mayhem. On ExploreTalent, she details her past experience in modeling, acting, and singing, calling it her "dream," while her Model Mayhem profile echoes that same zealous attitude, adding that she is willing to "do whatever it takes to fulfill my dreams and goals." If the previews are any indication, The Bachelor is already painting Corinne as the Chad of this season, so we guess only time will tell if she's doing the show for "the right reasons."

Meryl Streep Helping Ryan Gosling With His Bow Tie Is a Moment Too Pure For This World

Meryl Streep may be a 20-time Oscar nominee and all-around national treasure, but that doesn't mean she's too important to help a fellow actor avoid a wardrobe malfunction. During a commercial break at the SAG Awards on Sunday night, Meryl lent her assistance to Ryan Gosling, who appeared to be struggling with his bow tie.

The La La Land star may have lost the best male actor award to Denzel Washington, but hey, he'll always have this sweet encounter to take home as a consolation prize (and he still looked pretty adorable while watching costar Emma Stone accept her trophy for best female actor). We're actually not sure who was luckier here: Meryl, for getting to touch Ryan Gosling's chest, or Ryan, for getting his chest touched by Meryl Streep.

Parents Be Warned: Liquid Laundry Detergent Pods Are Giving Kids Serious Chemical Eye Burns

Despite countless reports of kids confusing liquid laundry detergent pods for candy, this isn't the only risk that parents need to worry about. These small packets are also causing an increasing number of chemical eye burns in young children.

According to a new report published in JAMA Ophthalmology, the number of reported chemical eye injuries in preschool-age children increased 32-fold between 2012 and 2015. Although it's important to note that the study looked at data from before new voluntary safety standards created to prevent these types of accidents went into effect, many parents aren't even aware of this potential hazard.

"This is potentially very serious," the study's coauthor, R. Sterling Haring, told Today. "The chemicals, like those found in these detergent pods, can cause long-term, potentially permanent vision damage."

It's believed that a majority of the injuries occurred after kids squeezed or popped the packets and some of the detergent got into their eyes. According to the report, nearly 85 percent of the cases happened at home. Although there were only 12 reported cases of eye injuries related to liquid laundry pods in 2012, 480 children were hurt by the end of 2015.

"It's squishy, it's fun to play with - these kids are playing with them like they're toys or they're trying to bite into them like they're candy," Haring said. To combat this, by the end of 2016, 99 percent of products shipped to retailers complied to a voluntary safety standard made to "withstand the squeezing pressure of a child."

The Moment Denzel Washington Found Out He Won His First SAG Award Should Not Be Missed

Denzel Washington has accomplished quite a bit throughout his decades-long career, but one milestone he hadn't marked was winning a SAG Award - until now. On Sunday night, he was honored with his very first trophy from the Screen Actors Guild; Denzel won outstanding performance by a male actor in a leading role for Fences, and when his name was called, the veteran actor appeared visibly taken aback - so much so that his wife, Pauletta; costar Viola Davis; and her husband, Julius Tennon, had to physically stand him up and send him to the stage.

Denzel confirmed his shock when he approached the podium, telling the crowd that he "didn't have faith" that he would beat industry favorites Ryan Gosling and Casey Affleck in the category. "I said, 'You know that young boy's gonna win, Denzel, you ain't gonna win,'" he said with a laugh. He caught up with reporters after the exciting moment and expressed his genuine surprise at the win. "Casey [Affleck] has been winning everything so I assumed . . . ," Denzel said. "I actually prepared a speech in case we won best ensemble, so I said I better be ready just in case because, I knew I had to speak for the cast." He went on: "As the night was going along, I got a feeling. I said, 'Boy, you better start thinking of some things just in case.'" It was a long time coming (Denzel has been nominated five times previously), but better late than never.

8 Disturbing Bombshells From Leah Remini's Scientology Documentary Series

Image Source: Getty / Noam Galai

When you think of Scientology, a few people probably come to mind: Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and Leah Remini. While Cruise and Travolta are partly known for their unwavering devotion to the "church," Remini publicly split from Scientology in 2013. After having doubts about things the church was doing and questioning the church's leader, David Miscavige (which is apparently a big no-no), about the unknown whereabouts of his wife, the actress had had enough.

In addition to speaking out about her experiences with interviews and a book, Remini decided to dive even further into uncovering the church's corrupt reality with her A&E documentary series, Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. On the show, she travels around the country with Mike Rinder, Scientology's former senior executive and one of Miscavige's right-hand men, to talk to former church members about the horrors they allegedly endured over the years (the church denies all claims made in the show). See the biggest bombshells below, which include forced abortion and physical abuse.

  1. The church's leader, David Miscavige, reportedly beats his staff. Several former church members have spoken out on the show about the physical abuse they endured at the hands of Miscavige (he's 5'1", by the way). All of the situations they described include the church leader's attitude changing at the drop of a hat and him punching, shoving, and choking them in front of other Scientology staff members. Whenever someone even looked like they were about to fight back, a group of Miscavige's men would swoop in and immediately remove that person from the building. One former church member, Jeff Hawkins, recalled that Miscavige looked at him after physically assaulting him and said, "Do you know why I did that? To remind you who's boss."
  1. Women in the Sea Org are reportedly forced to have abortions if they get pregnant. In the show's fifth episode, Remini sits down with Marc Headley, a former event coordinator and video producer for Scientology, and his wife, Claire, a former Sea Org member. While working in the Sea Org, a now-land-based organization of the church's most dedicated members that control management operations, and living at the church's international headquarters in Hemet, CA, Claire became pregnant with their first child. But since Claire alleges that Scientology thinks women in the Sea Org who get pregnant actively want to leave, she was forced to get an abortion. "If a woman got pregnant, she would instantly be scheduled to go and get an abortion," she said. "If she refused in any manner, she would be segregated, not allowed to speak with her husband, put under security watch, put on heavy manual labor, and interrogated for her crimes." Marc and Claire managed to narrowly escape the church (he says he was run off the road by church members in an SUV; she says she snuck out of Walmart and hopped on a bus), but that will never take away their pain. "I can go, 'Well, now I have three beautiful children who are my life,'" she continued. "But it doesn't make me feel better about not being strong enough to tell them to go f*ck themselves."

Image Source: Getty / Pierre-Philippe Marcou

  1. Despite escaping the church, some people are reportedly still tracked down and brought back. Claire and Marc also went into detail about the heavy security that Sea Org members are reportedly under when they live at the base in Hemet. In addition to security cameras being everywhere, their outgoing mail is always read before being sent, they are on strict meal schedules, and the fence that surrounds the property has large spikes on both sides, which prevents anyone from entering or leaving. Claire revealed that when her friend tried to escape, she fell in a ditch outside the property and was brought right back in by church members and put on heavy labor duty. She also said she knew one member who fled all the way to South Africa, where he was tracked down and brought back.
  2. Private investigators reportedly hired by Scientology followed Remini during the filming of the show. In the fifth episode of the show, Remini and Rinder are driving when they notice a suspicious-looking car close by. After signaling to the car several times that he can pass, he refuses. When they pull up next to him and ask him who he is, he says he works for TMZ, but suspiciously doesn't have a camera and quickly drives away. When they then pull into their hotel, two men are sitting in the lobby with their phones pointed at Remini's car. The hotel manager asks if they are guests, and they both quickly get up to leave. Rinder confronts them, they act like they don't know anything, and Remini later reveals that one of the men is a private investigator (oh, and the TMZ guy was driving the PI's wife's car).
  1. Church members will spend thousands of dollars trying to reach the highest level of spirituality in Scientology. Scientology was founded by a man named L. Ron Hubbard, who believed that you need to clear yourself of your "reactive mind" in order to advance up "the Bridge of Total Freedom." People do this through auditing sessions, where a Scientology auditor asks the person a series of questions while they hold two metal cans attached to a machine. The machine tells the auditor if the person is telling the truth, and in order to continue to grow spiritually, church members have to pay for expensive courses in order to improve. It also should be noted that Hubbard holds the Guinness World Record for most published works by one author (and they're mostly science fiction) . . .
  2. If you leave the church, you will most likely lose your entire family. If a member of the church speaks out against Scientology or decides to leave, they will be labeled a "suppressive person" (watch Tom Cruise talk about it at the 4:29 mark). If the rest of that person's family is still in the church, they will be pressured to disconnect from that person, which means cutting off all communication and essentially never seeing them again.
  3. David Miscavige reportedly told private investigators to let his father die. David's father, Ron, was the one who got his son involved in Scientology when he was a young boy. But after years in the church and being heavily monitored while living at the base in Hemet, Ron and his wife, Becky, decided to plan their escape. In episode four of the show, Ron told Remini that he knew he needed to get out after he walked by his son one day and decided to say hello. "Dave looked at me and I knew that I had done the wrong thing," he said. "By calling him Dave," Remini clarified, to which he replied, "Yes." After Ron and Becky finally escaped, his son hired private investigators to follow him, one of whom was brought in for questioning by police and revealed everything. According to Ron, the investigator told police that when they saw Ron have what appeared to be a heart attack (he was simply holding his cell phone in place in his chest pocket), they called David to see if they should intervene, but David replied, "If it's my father's time to die, let him die."
  4. Scientologists believe they have the cure for mental illness. In the show's season finale, Leah sat down with Brandon Reisdorf, a former church member who suffers from bipolar disorder. At the time of their interview, Brandon was in psychiatric care but his family agreed to let him tell his story. While Brandon said he's doing much better now that he's in the care of actual doctors, he detailed his horrific time in the church. After one of his mental breakdowns, the church decided to give him an "introspection rundown," or what they think is the cure for mental illness. It involves locking the person in a room until their "episode" passes, which they think means their body is rid of the illness for good. Scientologists are also well-known for hating psychology and thinking you can treat mental illness with vitamins and intense auditing sessions (as seen in this infamous Tom Cruise interview with Matt Lauer).

These Spicy Cauliflower Bites Are the Perfect Game-Day Snack

The Absolute Best Grocery Items to Get at Costco

This Is How All Your Favorite Chefs Cook For Game Day

Let's be honest: the only important part of game day is the food. If you're like me, the only touchdown you're interested in scoring is serving the perfect chicken wings, queso dip, and chili. To fuel your inspiration for the ultimate game-day feast, look no further than the following popular recipes from some of your favorite Food Network personalities and food experts. Alton has you covered on wings, Ree Drummond's got the ultimate queso, and Giada de Laurentiis gets extra points for her homemade mozzarella sticks. Go team!

Alton Brown: Baked Buffalo Wings

It's hard to choose a favorite game-day recipe from Alton Brown, but he's pretty well known for his buffalo chicken wings. All you need (besides the wings) is butter, garlic, salt, and hot sauce, and you're on your way to perfectly roasted - not fried - spicy chicken wings that are just as good as any restaurant's.

Marcela Valladolid: Game-Winning Guac

It's not game day without guacamole, and Marcela Valladolid's guacamole with fresh-baked tortilla chips is the way to go. Going the extra mile to make homemade baked tortilla chips totally pays off, and they're the ultimate vessel for scooping plenty of lime- and cilantro-filled guac.

Giada de Laurentiis: Homemade Mozzarella Sticks

You'll never go back to the frozen kind once you try Giada's homemade mozzarella sticks. This DIY version tastes infinitely better and is surprisingly easy to make with mozzarella cheese, Italian breadcrumbs, grated parmesan, and homemade marinara sauce.

Sunny Anderson: Southwestern Quesadillas

Cut up Sunny Anderson's Southwestern quesadillas into party-ready portions, and you'll be everyone's favorite person. Be sure to make extra of the cilantro-lime sour cream, because everyone will want to dip their cheesy, spicy quesadillas in it.

Ree Drummond: Chile Con Queso

Queso is arguably the most important part of game day, and Ree Drummond's chile con queso is your go-to recipe. Even The Pioneer Woman admits there's no shame in using a block of processed cheese for essentials like queso. In fact, it's the best.

Aaron McCargo Jr.: Buffalo Chicken Cheese Balls

This Food Network Star winner is known for focusing on bold flavors, and his buffalo chicken cheese balls are proof. Any buffalo-chicken fanatic would be crazy not to try these bite-size appetizers that are perfect for feeding a crowd. He recommends taking a shortcut by using store-bought rotisserie chicken and combining it with hot sauce, cheddar, and scallions before rolling the balls into a crunchy panko breadcrumb coating. The homemade blue cheese dip is what really takes this dish to a new level.

Trisha Yearwood: Cornbread-Chili Casserole

Southern comfort foods are always a good idea for game day, especially Trisha Yearwood's cornbread-chili casserole. Everything you love about chili is covered in a buttery, crumbly cornbread topping, and a generous sprinkling of cheddar cheese and dollop of sour cream takes it over the top.

Chrissy Teigen: John's Famous Chili

Not only is John Legend famous for his mac and cheese, but he also makes a pretty mean chili. John's chili, as Chrissy Teigen calls it in her cookbook, Cravings, packs a serious flavor punch with chili powder, red pepper, garlic, and the secret ingredient: Lawry's Seasoned Salt.

Paula Deen: Spinach Artichoke Dip

Ditch the store-bought jar for Paula Deen's hot spinach artichoke dip. Loaded with the good stuff (namely sour cream, mayo, parmesan, and pepper jack cheese), this ooey-gooey dip is the ultimate match for toasted bread, tortilla chips, and even crudités.

Beyoncé's Grammys Dress Is Basically Confirmed

During Riccardo Tisci's 12-year tenure at Givenchy, he created red carpet looks that became iconic. Every dress was its own story, mostly because it perfectly suited the actress or artist who was wearing it. Even when Riccardo dressed Julia Roberts for the SAG Awards in a black tuxedo one-piece, we were blown away by the outcome - the sleek tailoring, the flattering fit, and the fact that she appeared so comfortable.

But then you've got Beyoncé, who tapped Riccardo Tisci for multiple Met Galas, always the last to arrive and stun everyone with her gown. Our favorite, 2015's sheer bejeweled number, offered about as much coverage as a bikini. With the addition of a high ponytail, Riccardo had helped transform Beyoncé into her own version of Malibu Barbie.

That is why we are sad about Riccardo's departure from one of the most popular French fashion houses, but also why we will follow him wherever he goes. While many predict he'll end up working with Donatella at Versace, Riccardo's not fully finished debuting Givenchy pieces just yet. He'll be dressing celebrities at the upcoming Grammys, and Beyoncé is set to attend. Need we say more about the last Riccardo Tisci for Givenchy dress you might ever see?

Read on to reminisce about our 11 favorite Givenchy moments, all of which promise Queen Bey's baby bump will look mighty fine at the Grammy Awards. (Wink, wink).

You Can Now Buy an Eye Shadow Palette With a Shade Named "Avocado Toast"

Figuring out what beauty style to rock to brunch can be complicated. Do you opt for no-makeup makeup, a red lip with a bare face, a cat eye . . . ? The trouble with this beloved meal is that the temptation to look chic and sophisticated for all your gal pals is overwhelming, but you don't want to appear as if you're trying too hard. Thankfully, Lorac's new Beauties Who Brunch collection solves this makeup mystery with an edited assortment of limited-edition pastel hues, which are perfect for the Spring outdoor brunching season.

Not only are they the ideal shades to rock on a lazy Sunday morning, the names of the products pay respect to some of your favorite entrees, beverages, and personalities seen at your go-to spot. For example, the lip colors (matching lipsticks and glosses) are named Foodie, Brunch Queen, Barista, and Pastry Chef. The blockbuster 16-pan shadow palette (outfitted in iridescent packaging) features hues named Avocado Toast, Mimosa, and Pancakes!

However, the hidden gem in this collection is its highlighter. There is a GREEN illuminator hiding in the assortment that provides a whimsical (not witchy) sheen that will look quite fetching as you gab with your gal pals over bloodies.

The Lorac Beauties Who Brunch Collection launches at Ulta Beauty and on Lorac's website in late February. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available, but in the meantime, read on to see all the products.

After Having Triplets, 1 Mom Has an Important Message About Her Postpartum Body

After two strangers in one week congratulated Desiree Fortin on a nonexistent pregnancy, this mom of triplets decided to take a good look at her postpartum body. However, instead of feeling frustration or shame, in that moment she decided to value exactly what she saw.

In addition to embracing her "pooch," she's hoping to help other moms love their bodies for what they are today. "I wanted to do something empowering, not just for me, but other moms out there, to show how special our bodies are," Desiree told POPSUGAR. "We need to embrace our 'hope wounds' because there is a beautiful story and strong woman behind those scars."

Inspired by milk bath maternity shoots, Desiree posed for raw postpartum-body photos and shared them with other moms - despite feeling completely vulnerable. "I knew if these photos and my story just impacted one person, I will have made a difference," Desiree said. "We all have a story, and you never know the impact it will have on someone just by sharing your heart."

After battling infertility and giving birth to her triplets, Desiree struggled with postpartum depression and wants others to know it can get better. "As moms, we need to learn to appreciate what our bodies go through to bring life into this world," she said. "I love my body and feel proud of all it went through during my infertility, pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum. I feel confident in who I am and do my best to fully embrace my body because it has been through a lot over the last several years."

Now at 18 months postpartum, Desiree has a new perspective when she sees her body in these photos. "I see a very strong woman who fought and conquered infertility. I also see a mom who came face to face with postpartum anxiety and depression and fought to overcome it," she explained. "I love my wounds, and I treasure the life I have been given. I am so proud of my body for all it has done, and I hope my story will reach the hearts of other women looking to see beauty in their own scars."

Did Beyoncé Hint at Her Pregnancy Back in December? This Photo Could Be the Proof

By now you've likely heard that the music industry's royal family is expanding by two. Beyoncé announced that she's pregnant with twins this week, and the Beyhive swooped into formation to do some digging for any possible clues they could have missed - one of which could lie in a series of photos that Beyoncé posted to her website on Dec. 17. Just before the holidays, she shared snaps of herself wearing a fitted blue suede Jitrois minidress, first covering her growing bump with a stole and then holding up a peace sign - was she hinting at the fact that she was pregnant with two babies? We can do this all day, folks.

You'll Be Surprised These Celebrities Are Actually Twins!

In addition to famous twins like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Benji and Joel Madden, and the Mowry sisters, there are a number of celebrities that you may not have known are part of a pair. Ashton Kutcher, Scarlett Johansson, Gisele Bündchen, and even Vin Diesel have twin siblings - and while some of their other halves keep a low profile, others have a place in show business as well. If You're Eating Protein to Lose Weight, This Is How Much You Need Per Meal

Experts are pushing the protein when it comes to weight loss, and for good reason, because it regulates your appetite and satiates hunger. But if loading up on tons of protein is your main focus at mealtimes, you might be getting more than you need.

Certified dietitian Leslie Langevin, MS, RD, CD, of Whole Health Nutrition says to aim for "no more than 20 to 30 grams of protein at each meal." This is in line with the CDC's recommendation for women ages 19 to 70 to get an average of 46 grams of protein per day. But since everyone's weight and activity level matter, this handy chart should help you determine exactly how much protein you need in a day.

So why only 20 to 30 grams at each meal? If you've heard that eating more protein is better for weight loss, it's true, but Leslie says, "The body can only absorb 20 to 30 grams at one time. Eating this amount of protein is a good target per meal because that will help with satiety and be the max your body can absorb at the meal for muscle repair." This leaves room for the other nutrients your body needs. For the perfect weight-loss meal, you always want to combine your protein with carbs for sustained energy and both fiber and healthy fats to keep you feeling fuller longer.

So there's no need to eat scrambled eggs with your morning protein smoothie. And Leslie says you definitely don't want to focus on just animal protein. Plant-based protein like legumes, leafy greens, whole grains, nuts, and soy products offer fiber and are necessary for everyone to "help reduce heart disease, cancer, and can help with weight control."

This Badass Mom Took Her Son's Birth Photos Herself During Labor

Having a birth photographer at the hospital has been a trend on the rise for quite some time now, but new mom and photographer Lauren Chenault decided that rather than hire another photographer, she'd take the photos of her son's birth herself. In the throes of labor, Chenault balanced her camera on her belly and snapped as many photos as she could of Kai Arthur's birth.

"I wanted to photograph my own birth to show how powerful women are," Chenault told POPSUGAR. "I'm able to grow a human inside me and push it out, so I wanted to document it. It was amazing capturing them; I wasn't even looking at what I was doing with the camera, I just kept snapping hoping that I got it."

Of course, aside from taking photos, Chenault had to concentrate on pushing, but she's thrilled with the photos she did capture. "Looking back at it I see an amazing image of my son that I'll have forever. As a photographer, I love being able to credit myself for my own work. And this is one that I'm so proud of to call my own."

Scroll through to see a few of the amazing photographs Chenault snapped of her beautiful baby boy's entrance into the world.

Everything We Know About Jaclyn Hill's Morphe Palette So Far

Following the success of her previous collections with Becca Cosmetics and Morphe, Jaclyn Hill is back with another supercharged collaboration that has left the beauty industry buzzing. On Jan. 20, the makeup artist officially announced she would be releasing a palette with Morphe, which she has previously worked with on a line of brushes.

In an Instagram post, Jaclyn said she has been working on the palette for two years and it will finally become available this March, adding, "I was SO picky with the pigmentation, application & blend-ability. Our goal was to create something high quality with an affordable price." While Jaclyn has yet to divulge all of the details surrounding the palette, she did take to Snapchat to swatch some of the shades and reveal the logo design. It has been reported that the palette will offer a whopping 35 shades.

Following the news, some sleuthing fans saw that a bakery based in California's San Fernando Valley - where Morphe is also headquartered - created a cake inspired by the highly anticipated palette. While the cake does have a note from Jaclyn inscribed on it, Jaclyn later clarified that her palette does not look like the cake.

Jaclyn also recently shared pictures from a promotional shoot with her Snapchat followers. It appears that the shoot was in honor of the palette, as she made sure to conceal any of the products used on set. Then, on Feb. 1, Jaclyn unveiled one particular shadow that will double as a highlighter. We will continue to update this story as it continues to develop, but in the meantime, scroll ahead for a sneak peek.

Jaclyn Hill Is Releasing a Highlighter With Morphe - but There's a Catch

The details surrounding Jaclyn Hill's Morphe palette continue to emerge and they are good. Following her announcement about the shadow palette, the makeup artist took to Snapchat to unveil one particular shade that will double as a blinding highlighter.

On her Snapchat, Jaclyn demonstrated one of the highlighting shades - yes, there will apparently be others - from her palette and made it a point to mention that she wasn't wearing any foundation or primer. While she had previously collaborated with Becca Cosmetics on a line of highlighting products, Jaclyn said this one would be distinct.

"It is a completely different formulation than the other shimmers that you guys have seen so far," she said. Adding, "I wanted to create a great neutral highlighting shade that wasn't too oily or pigmented because I didn't want it to have a ton of fallout when highlighting the brow bone."

The bad news? You'll have to purchase the entire palette to access the highlighter. Based on how incredible the palette is shaping up to be, however, that doesn't sound like such a bad thing. Look ahead for another sneak peek at this highly anticipated release.
