Kanye Has Already Rescheduled His Yeezy Show - and Everything Else You Need to Know
In typical Kanye fashion, the rapper chose a time slot for Yeezy Season 5 without consulting the CFDA. But after realizing there was a conflict with Assembly and Marchesa, Kanye opted for convenience. The show of his collaboration with Adidas will take place at Pier 59 Studios on Feb.15 at 3 p.m., leaving some scurrying off to Anna Sui, which begins at 4 p.m.
"Kanye called me personally to let me know that he had no intention of showing on top of another designer, and was unaware that there was a conflict. He explained that once he realized Marchesa was in the time slot, he immediately looked at alternative options," CFDA chief executive officer Steven Kolb told WWD.
While the CFDA will not be putting the Yeezy show on their official schedule, we're pretty sure it will be all anyone can talk about, you know, once it starts. Read on to see our predictions.

Here's Exactly How to Style a Winter Parka
The following post was originally featured on The Girl From Panama and was written by Pam Hetlinger, who is part of POPSUGAR Select Latina.
A parka is probably one of the most practical pieces you can buy during the colder months. They are waterproof, they can easily be dressed up or down and they are pretty cozy (great for layering too!). Below are three tips to keep in mind to look fashionable in a parka:
- Look for a belted version: Most of the parkas out there are bulky so finding one belted will ensure you don't lose your shape. If you can't find one, a belt like this one will do the trick.
- A faux-fur hood is a must: This is key! The faux fur makes the parka look more glamorous and classy. Also, it will be easier for you to dress it up at night for a date night or cocktails after work.
- Go easy on the military trend: Avoid looking like you are going to boot camp! For example, instead of wearing combat boots and some army green pants, style it with some faux leather leggings and pointed toe booties like I wore here.
That's it! Do you have any tips for styling a parka? I would love to hear your thoughts.

Emma Watson's Belle Dress Is Going to Be Different, but in a Good Way
We all patiently waited for it: the reveal of Emma Watson's Belle dress in Beauty and the Beast. Judging from the photos, the yellow princess ball gown is better than we imagined. Made with silk, the dress has a satin finish that glows for the camera while the layers of organza give the dress a light, bouncy lift. Though parts of the costume has a cage, one specific constricting piece was left out of the new design.
Beauty and the Beast's costume designer Jacqueline Durran revealed in an interview that Belle's dress in the live-action film would not have a corset, a change Emma pushed for herself.
"For Emma, it was important that the dress was light and that it had a lot of movement," Durran said. "In Emma's reinterpretation, Belle is an active princess. She did not want a dress that was corseted or that would impede her in any way."
Given that the actress is a proud feminist and supporter of HeForShe, it's not surprising she spoke up and did away with a tight-fitting bodice in the name of comfort. Scroll through for a glimpse of Belle's updated gown and other outfits before the film comes out March 17.

Grey's Anatomy: Wait, So Is Alex Going to Prison or Not?
We're a couple episodes in to the Winter season of Grey's Anatomy, but one of our burning questions still remains unanswered. Suffice it to say, the biggest controversy on the show right now has nothing to do with patients, surgeries, or Grey-Sloan Memorial Hospital. Instead, it has everything to do with Alex Karev, and whether or not he'll go to prison for beating Andrew DeLuca nearly to death. Last week, Bailey seemed convinced that Alex had taken the plea deal, and that he was going to prison (which, of course, had us worried Justin Chambers might exit the show). This week, a few details have us wondering if Alex found a way out of his legal situation after all.
Let's go over the evidence. At the beginning of the episode, Meredith and Maggie are desperately trying to find Alex's criminal case online. They eventually do, and they learn that Alex has entered the plea deal (which gives him two years in prison). They also learn that the case is "indefinitely postponed," which Meredith believes means Alex is in prison. Thus begins her citywide search for her imprisoned friend. Here's the catch: Alex isn't in prison . . . yet. It's not until the end of the episode that we realize he's been sleeping in Meredith's bed all day.
There are a few things to consider here. The first is Arizona's telling scene with DeLuca, in which she says she really misses Alex and she wishes he wasn't gone. DeLuca looks extremely confused and says, "What?" When you combine that with the fact that the criminal case is "indefinitely postponed" and Alex is in Meredith's bed and not in prison, there's one optimistic conclusion you could come to. Alex may have entered the plea deal, but it's possible DeLuca felt terrible and dropped the charges at the last minute, allowing Alex to go free.
Sadly, the other possibility is that DeLuca did not drop the charges, and that Alex took the plea deal, and he's still going to prison. Maybe he gets a day, or a week, or a month to get his affairs in order, which would explain why he's in Meredith's bed. As for DeLuca's confusion, he's been admittedly out of the loop with Alex's court case for some time. Maybe he didn't know Alex took a plea deal. Maybe he didn't know there was a plea deal in the first place. The tragic part here is that it could go either way. Alex may very well be going to prison after all, but we're going to go ahead and hold on to this faint glimmer of hope as long as we possibly can.

The Powerful Way Simon Helberg and His Wife Protested the Immigration Ban at the SAG Awards
When The Big Bang Theory star Simon Helberg got ready for this year's SAG Awards, he wasn't worried about his hair or his stylish tuxedo; he was determined to make a political statement on the red carpet, and it definitely worked. While posing for photos, Simon held a sign reading "REFUGEES WELCOME," while his wife, actress Jocelyn Towne, had "LET THEM IN" written in bold letters across her chest.
While many presenters and nominees alike have been speaking out against Donald Trump's recent Muslim Ban and the huge protests his executive order caused, Simon and Jocelyn's statements had all eyes on them, as they proudly brought the protests to the red carpet.
Marcia Gay Harden Wants You to Know About the Lesbian Couple in Fifty Shades Darker
You might think Fifty Shades Darker is all about the reconciliation of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, and in a sense, you'd be right. Even so, there's a reason we've got a whole cast of characters to contend with, not to mention the handful of new faces that will emerge in the second film of the Fifty Shades trilogy. With this in mind, it's clear that the films are not just about Christian and Anastasia. Rather, the people around them tell a story and really enrich the narrative as a whole.
While examining the relationships of Fifty Shades Darker, there's one that Marcia Gay Harden thinks might go over your head. We caught up with the actress at the LA premiere for the film, and she clued us into the lovely relationship Christian Grey's assistant has with another woman. We asked Harden what we as the audience might miss if we weren't looking for it, and she said, "The wonderful lesbian relationship of the woman who works for him, for Mr. Grey. She and her lover, I think [the audience] might miss that." So there you have it. All eyes will be on Christian and Ana - I mean, hello, have you watched that sexy elevator clip? - but if you turn your eyes elsewhere, you just might get an ever better story.
1 Fifty Shades Darker Detail That Will Make the Ending Seem Kind of Hilarious
When it comes to a movie like Fifty Shades Darker, the devil's in the details. For instance, according to our interview with Bella Heathcote, the key to figuring out just how crazy Christian Grey's ex is is noticing the one small prop she wears for the entirety of the film. When we attended Fifty Shades Darker's premiere in LA, we couldn't help but wonder what other fun might be hiding in between all the sexiness and danger of the highly and anticipated sequel. Luckily for us, Eloise Mumford, who plays Anastasia's best friend, Kate, had one fun fact for us that makes the ending seem so much funnier.
When we asked the actress what the audience might miss during a preliminary viewing of the film, she shared a fun piece of behind-the-scenes trivia: "The fireworks scene at the very end, we shot it in the middle of the night. And imagining fireworks is maybe one of the most fun acting things you can do." I mean, it totally makes sense. Launching actual fireworks into the air take after take sounds expensive and tedious. Even so, you can't help but crack a smile imagining Jamie Dornan, Dakota Johnson, and the rest of the cast looking at the sky and marveling at nothing. And now, that's all you'll be able to do. Sorry and/or you're welcome.
Bella Heathcote Teases Her Mysterious Character in Fifty Shades Darker
When it comes to the intensity of Fifty Shades Darker, the second movie in the Fifty Shades trilogy, the title tells you everything you need to know. The new film has everything the first one had, except it's sexier, more dangerous, more action-packed, and, well, darker. As the trailers for the film have rolled out over the course of the past handful of months, the heightened nature has come across in spades. And when it comes to the danger, nothing seems more threatening than the unraveling girl who seems to be haunting Christian and Anastasia. Her name is Leila, and she's actually an ex of Christian Grey. But what exactly can we expect when it comes to the mysterious figure from Christian's past? We talked to actress Bella Heathcote at the premiere of the film in Los Angeles, and she gave us all the insight we need.
Who, exactly, is this crazy young woman? "Someone you don't want to find on the end of the bed when you're waking up," Heathcote teased. "I'm basically a spurned ex who's grief-stricken and heartbroken and doesn't have the tools to cope. I'm following Anastasia around, trying figure out what this girl has that she doesn't." To give a better sense of exactly how unhinged her character might be, Heathcote revealed it's all about the details. "There's definitely a prop that I wear throughout that indicates kind of my mental state and how unstable it is." Looks like we'll have to wait until the film's Feb. 10 release to find out what she means.

This Is What It Looks Like When Dog Besties Refuse to Leave Each Other
Meet Merill and Taco. These two puppers were homeless just a few short years ago when they were surrendered to Rocket Dog Rescue in San Francisco. According to the site, the two dogs were inseparable in the shelter and refused to be adopted without the other. Thankfully Merill, a Pit Bull mix, and Taco, a Chihuahua, didn't have to be split up and went home together, and we can all take part in their joy through this adorable photo that's recirculating the internet lately. We sure to love a good rescue story!

The 1 Tip You Need to Use If You Want to Block a Friend Without Them Knowing
With the current political climate, it feels like no matter what you do, everything on Facebook is overwhelming. People are picking fights left and right, and some people's comments are too much to handle. While you should definitely think about taking a break from Facebook if you feel like it's too much, you can also just simply put someone on a restricted list.
Unlike unfollowing someone on Facebook, the restricted list doesn't let your friend see any of your posts, unless you choose to make one public. Check out the three simple steps ahead to put a friend on the list. If this isn't enough, you might want to consider other ways of coping with any Donald Trump-related stress.
This Harry Potter Theory About Dumbledore's Deluminator Will Break Your Damn Heart
We first encounter Dumbledore's mysterious "Put-Outer" early on in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, when he knocks out an entire street's lights with just a few clicks.
"It seemed to be a silver cigarette lighter. He flicked it open, held it up in the air, and clicked it. The nearest street lamp went out with a little pop. He clicked it again - the next lamp flickered into darkness. Twelve times he clicked the Put-Outer, until the only lights left on the whole street were two tiny pinpricks in the distance, which were the eyes of the cat watching him."
At the time, it seemed that the device was a nifty bit of magic just for turning lights off and on with flair - useful, but not so remarkable. We, of course, learn that the Put-Outer, or Deluminator, is much more. It was Dumbledore's will that the device be passed to Ron Weasley after his death, and Ron later discovers it's more powerful than any of them realized.
In The Deathly Hallows, the journey to find the Horcruxes becomes too much for Ron, and he abruptly leaves Harry and Hermione to continue the quest without him. His departure was due in part to the effect Slytherin's locket Horcux had on him, and he immediately regrets his decision to abandon his friends. Unfortunately, he is unable to find them again, until the Deluminator works its true magic, to lead him back to where his heart is, to be reunited with his friends.
A Redditor recently shared a moving theory about the nature of the Deluminator, which if true would illuminate Dumbledore's brilliance even more and further underscore the late headmaster's believe in the power of love. Read the theory ahead.
Based on the theory, Dumbledore designed the Deluminator using a branch of magic he knew Tom Riddle, later Voldemort, had an aversion to, making it less likely that Riddle would think to combat what he didn't believe was even worth considering. It also means that Ron's love for Harry and Hermione led him back to where he was needed despite how difficult their task was, because as the theory reminds us, "we need love the most when we are lost in the dark."

Why Drew Barrymore's Bloody Zombie Sitcom Should Be Your New Go-To TV Snack
Some TV shows are best snacked on rather than enjoyed in a multihour binge. They're the kinds of shows you can have on while you do the dishes and scroll through Twitter, you know? If you're in need of a new program to fit that void, Santa Clarita Diet is likely exactly what you're looking for. Upon initial inspection, it doesn't seem like it's a show that should work. A gory (and I mean, gory) zombie story wedged into a suburban family comedy sounds just complicated and high-concept enough to be a disaster waiting to happen. Fortunately, at its home on Netflix, Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant's oddball foray into the world of 30-minute sitcoms ends up molding itself into more than just bloody, shapeless pulp.
Barrymore stars as suburban real estate agent Sheila, who has found herself, and her marriage to devoted husband and high school sweetheart Joel (Olyphant), in a rut. Then, following a sudden and vomit-heavy transformation, Sheila realizes she's become a walking, talking, cognizant member of the undead (more iZombie than The Walking Dead). After figuring out that her craving for flesh can't be sated by raw chicken or ground beef, she and Joel find themselves traveling down a gruesome road of gore that will leave your stomach turning. In the first episode, for example, Sheila relieves a predatory co-worker (one of many great cameos) of his fingers and intestines while he attempts to force himself on her in their pristine, green backyard. To say Barrymore really goes for it would be an understatement - she gleefully gnaws on stray limbs, ripping at skin and squirting blood in all directions, all while maintaining a loopy grin.
That campy balance between being too bloody and being too silly is one that Santa Clarita Diet never quite masters, but it's enjoyable anyway. It might be shallow fun, but it's fun nonetheless thanks to jokes that come easy and a believable, delightful chemistry between Barrymore and Olyphant (whose comedic timing is vastly underrated, FYI). Though there isn't much depth to it, there is a bit of heart. Sheila and Joel are parents to high schooler Abby (Liv Hewson), who they fill in on her mom's secret. Their continuing back and forth about how to handle becoming serial killers and being good parents has its funny and heartwarming moments ("I know we have to kill somebody today, but we have to be parents every day," Sheila tells Joel in a later episode).
Unlike The Walking Dead - which prides itself on being a show about people who encounter zombies rather than a show about zombies with some people thrown in - watching this can sometimes feel like all blood, all the time. Luckily, each episode only runs between 26 and 29 minutes, which helps to ease the stumbles the show takes before finding its rhythm in later episodes. Once Sheila fully embraces her new identity, she actually ends up being one of the most empowered female characters on TV. With Joel reluctant to help her stalk and kill her dinner, Sheila takes it upon herself to do the heavy, violent lifting while still making time for their daughter. Is Santa Clarita Diet for you? Maybe not, but we can bet that it's more satisfying and hilarious than whatever diet you're on right now.
Emma Stone Refused to Get Off of the SAG Awards Stage After the "You're Done" Signal
Emma Stone is dominating award season, and she continued her winning streak on Sunday at the SAG Awards, winning best female actor for her role in La La Land. Her former Superbad costar Jonah Hill presented her with the trophy, and he may have been more excited for her than even us! Regardless, Stone could barely compose herself when she made it to the stage, ignoring the signal to wrap up her speech several times.
Why There's So Much to Love About the Instant Pot
Everyone has been talking about the Instant Pot ($130 at Walmart), from busy moms to food bloggers to The New York Times. It's currently a top-selling kitchen item on Amazon. Despite its widespread popularity, is the multifunctional cooking device worth it? For a while, I scorned the Instant Pot like a unitasker. I already owned a rice cooker, pressure cooker, and slow cooker, after all. So why would I spend the cash for another appliance? Despite my initial judgments, I still felt pulled to try the cooker out and determine if it's a gimmicky fad or not. Let's just say, the results really surprised me and greatly exceeded my expectations. If you're wondering if an Instant Pot is for you (or IP, as seasoned users call it), here's a list of awesome things to know about the Instant Pot.
- Cook all the things in record time. The Instant Pot is essentially a pressure cooker that also has sauté and slow-cooker functions. Pressure cookers reduce cook time significantly. We're talking steel-cut oats in 10 minutes and chicken breasts in eight minutes. Most, if not all, dishes can be prepared in 20 minutes or less.
- The sauté function is truly awesome. You can adjust the heat, but I found it caramelizes veggies and meat faster and more uniformly than even stovetop cooking. As a bonus, nothing caked onto the bottom of my IP.
- You can switch between functions. Sear meat in the sauté function, then pressure cook or slow-cook it! Pressure cook something, then keep it warm. Changing up the functions allows you to create complex dishes in one pot.
- It's easy to use. Though there are lots of buttons on an Instant Pot and seemingly random beeps, the user manual and recipe guide (that come with the cooker) break each one down quickly so you can dive right into cooking with your device. Just be sure to read them! You shouldn't go rogue with this device.
- It does it all. While there are obvious things like making broth, soups, shredded chicken, and chili, the cooker does some extraordinary things. Make a big batch of eggs (frittata style). Steam up cake and cheesecake. Use it as a rice cooker. Defrost and cook frozen-solid meat in minutes. Forgo soaking dried beans and cook them in about 20 minutes. Make mac and cheese and other pasta dishes in only one pot. The list goes on . . .
- Cleaning is a breeze. I laughed as I lifted the IP pot and rinsed it in record time. The lightweight pot seems to be nonstick (in my experience), so all it needs is a fast, sudsy scrub-down, no exertion required.
- There's endless learning. Instant Pot's website and Pinterest's results for Instant Pot are two awesome sources of recipe inspiration and tips. There's also Facebook's Instant Pot Community that's very active (over 300,000 users), where you can post or read troubleshooting questions and recipes.
All right, I love my Instant Pot. It's the ideal cooking appliance for busy people who are on a budget and want to cook homemade meals but lack one crucial thing: time! While I'm sure there are downsides to the Instant Pot, I haven't discovered them yet.
NASA's Latest Photo Series Shows Before and After Images of Climate Change
Within hours of Donald Trump's inauguration, several pages on the WhiteHouse.gov website went missing - including one on climate change. It's still unclear whether those pages will return or in what format they might. That hasn't stopped several Twitter accounts dedicated to the National Parks Service from going rogue and writing tweets on climate change. It also didn't stop NASA from publishing its latest photography series, "Images of Change," which includes before and after photos of climate change.
The photography series isn't solely focused on climate change. It looks at other changes that have affected our world, such as "effects of urbanization" and "natural hazards such as fires and floods." However, several of the locations the series shown are places changing due to climate change.
Here's one before and after look at how much the Arctic Sea Ice has changed, with a photo from September 1984 and another from September 2016.
NASA, which on Jan. 18 released a joint report with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) on how 2016 was the "warmest year on record," still has no clear path as to how it will function in the Trump administration. There is also no indication (yet) as to whether or not the organization will have to scrub its website of any mentions of climate change. If this photo series is any indication, however, it's clear that NASA feels pretty strongly about the fact that climate change is real.
2016 was the hottest year on record, continuing a decades-long warming trend, according to @NASAGISS & @NOAA: https://t.co/vsbeRX8tig http://pic.twitter.com/RGw7dJd03L
