Wondering What Happens to King Ezekiel in The Walking Dead's Comics?

We've only just met the charismatic King Ezekiel on this season of The Walking Dead, but he's already made a pretty huge impression. Carol and Morgan meet the leader at a new community called the Kingdom; this settlement is a little more rose-tinted than Rick's Alexandria or Negan's Sanctuary. In fact, Carol insists Ezekiel is selling his people a fairy tale. But as we know in the universe of The Walking Dead, nothing stays pristine for too long, and the Kingdom is already organizing with Rick to take down the Saviors. If you can't wait to see what becomes of the show's newest addition, we're outlining everything that happens in The Walking Dead comic books.

Now, we know that King Ezekiel is well acquainted with the Saviors. In fact, he's already participating in Negan's infamous "arrangement," where his men come and take a share of nearby groups' supplies on a frequent basis. In the comic books, King Ezekiel becomes romantically entangled with Michonne. He also teams up with Rick and the members of the Hilltop community to take Negan and the Saviors down. Together, they launch a massive attack on the Saviors' main compound, but they're quickly overwhelmed by Negan's men. After the attack, Ezekiel attempts to overtake another Savior compound and tragically loses Shiva to a hoard of walkers.

As the casualties pile up in the brutal war with the Saviors, Ezekiel loses his footing as a leader. He spirals into a depression. He eventually recovers in time to help everyone fight off the Saviors when they attack Hilltop. This is the last big battle between all the groups once Negan is finally taken into custody. King Ezekiel returns home to the Kingdom, and Michonne goes along with him.

So, how does King Ezekiel meet his tragic end? At one point, Michonne leaves him, and upon hearing that her feelings for him are still there, Ezekiel goes after her. Ezekiel eventually encounters Alpha, the leader of a terrifying new group called the Whisperers. Alpha decapitates Ezekiel and puts his head on a wooden stake. He's later discovered by Rick and the rest of the group.

As a side note, the Whisperers might be coming to the show sooner than we think. They're actually pretty far off in terms of the comics, but as we've learned, the show sometimes does things differently. Diehard fans were quick to call out the connection when the show's official Instagram posted a snap of a severed head on a stake just before the season seven premiere. What's more, doesn't the snap look eerily like the frame of Ezekiel's head in the comics?!

If you thought that was the end of Ezekiel's nightmare, there's just a bit more. Perhaps the most tragic part is that Ezekiel's head reanimates while it's on the stake. So, when everyone encounters him, his head has become that of a walker's. Michonne, overwhelmed with emotion, can't bring herself to finish him off. So, Andrea (who's still alive in the comics) steps forward and does it instead. So, there you have it! King Ezekiel may be selling a fairy tale now, but there's a high chance his death will be just as bleak as the rest of the apocalypse.

What Happens in the Walking Dead Comic Books After Negan's Brutal Entrance

Negan is an unfortunate plague upon season seven of The Walking Dead. First, we watched him kill two major characters in the season premiere: Glenn and Abe. In more recent episodes, two more people fall victim to his sadistic killing streak. While we're still being gradually introduced to his world, we do know how the rest of Negan's storyline plays out in the comic book series. The Walking Dead TV series has veered from canon before, so we can't assume any of this will really go down on the show.

At this point, you have to know that in the comic books, it's Glenn who Negan mercilessly beats to death with Lucille. So after all that ugliness, Negan and a group of the Saviors head to the Alexandria safe zone to take a bunch of stuff from Rick's people. Carl ends up hiding in the truck with Negan's men on the way back (this happens slightly differently on the show), and when he's found out, Carl uses an assault rifle to kill a bunch of the Saviors. Rather than killing him, Negan takes an interest in Carl. He shows Carl around his compound, the Sanctuary, makes a stop to torment one of his many wives, and forces Carl to remove the bandage from his eye socket. Negan even lets Carl hold Lucille while he burns the face of a man his "wife" slept with.

Days later, Negan goes by Alexandria and is approached by Spencer Monroe when Rick is gone. Spencer tells him that Rick is a bad leader and that he (Spencer) should be in charge. Negan kills him on the spot for his cowardice - RIP Spencer. Negan and Rick butt heads one last time before he leaves Alexandria, and on his way back to his compound, Negan is attacked by Rick and his crew. Negan basically laughs in his face, and Rick realizes that he's surrounded by Negan's army. There's a scuffle, but Negan ends up back at the Sanctuary to prepare for "All Out War." (This is a big deal in the comics.)

Rick is actually the one who initiates a fight with Negan and his men. He tells Negan to clear the space of women and children, and when Negan refuses, Rick and his men open fire. Rick's army takes out a portion of the walls, allowing zombies to pour in and flood the courtyard. In the heat of battle, Negan catches one of his men about to rape a woman from Rick's side. Negan stabs him and apologizes to the woman. Despite having several wives, Negan does not approve of sexual violence. Part One of the war ends with Negan's men bombing Alexandria with grenades.

The next day, Negan comes up with a plan to cover Lucille and all of his men's weapons in zombie guts. That way, whoever they hit will be instantly infected. They attack Rick's colony, and Rick ends up getting shot with an arrow. Negan and his men temporarily retreat, and when they go to take over Rick's people, Negan is shocked to see that Rick is still alive. Rick manages to convince him that they shouldn't be fighting; they should be pooling their resources to fight the zombies - then he slashes Negan's throat. Don't freak out; Negan doesn't die.

Two years later, Carl goes to the basement in an unknown house and talks to a shadowy figure about a girl who showed him her boobs. (I'm not making this up.) The man asks Carl if he still wants to kill him, and Carl says, "Yes, Negan. You know I do." He's been living in the basement for two years! He and Rick have some loaded discussions about mercy and why Rick is really keeping Negan alive. Negan ends up escaping with a character named Brandon Rose. He's still alive in the comics, but he's missing in action.

And there you have it! That's Negan's storyline as far as we know. Let's see how closely the show sticks to the books.

Adele Beat Out Beyoncé at the Grammys, and the Internet Collectively Lost Its Chill

Adele really cleaned up at Sunday's Grammys, snagging a total of five trophies and beating out Beyoncé in four categories, including record and album of the year. While Adele graciously dedicated her trophies to Queen Bey, people still weren't happy with the results; shortly after Adele's wins, fans took to Twitter to share their upset reactions. Read all of their emotional tweets below.

Lemonade Producer Talks Beyonce's Baby News

Lemonade producer Malik Yusef was at the Grammys, and when we caught up with him on the red carpet, he shared his reaction to finding out that Beyoncé was pregnant. Spoiler alert: he's just like us.

Adele Says She "Died Inside" When Beyoncé Didn't Win Album of the Year

It's no secret that Sunday night's Grammy Awards were all about Adele. Not only did she open the show with "Hello" and pay lovely tribute to George Michael, but she also swept the awards for album of the year, song of the year, and record of the year, plus more. Perhaps the most noteworthy aspect of her night, though, was how much of it she spent focused on Beyoncé. When she won song of the year, Adele spoke to Bey on the way to the stage. Then, during her acceptance speech for album of the year, she again dedicated the award to Beyoncé and called her a dream.

"My album of the year was Lemonade . . . I was rooting for her. I voted for her."

Back in the press room, Adele followed up on her bittersweet win and gave even more praise to Queen Bey. "My album of the year was Lemonade," Adele said. "A piece of me did die inside as a Beyoncé stan, I'm not going to lie. I was completely rooting for her. I voted for her." Later on in the press Q&A, the subject came up again, and Adele said, "I felt like it was her time to win. What the f*ck does she have to do to win album of the year?" No disrepect to Adele, because she's a legend and she's one of a kind, but we're wondering the same damn thing. And for what it's worth, the Internet wants to know, too.

Rae Sremmurd: "Black Beatles" Is an Internet "Sremmsation"

Anyone who was alive and on in the internet in 2016 discovered Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" because of the ubiquitous mannequin challenge, so when we caught up with the duo on the Grammys red carpet, we had to talk about their reaction to their breakout hit.

Kanye West's Producer: "Kanye's Memory Is Coming Back"

Kanye West was a no-show at the Grammys, so when we talked to one of his longtime collaborators, Malik Yusef, who was up for honors for Life of Pablo with Kanye, he gave us a quick update on the singer on the red carpet.

Adele Praises Beyoncé in Her Grammys Speech: "You Move My Soul Every Single Day"

Of all the winners at Sunday night's Grammys, Adele really cleaned up. In addition to winning song of the year for "Hello," the singer took home trophies for both record and album of the year, beating out Beyoncé in both categories. While Queen Bey didn't take home the gold, Adele made sure that her "idol" was still recognized. Not only did she call Beyoncé her "dream," but she dedicated both of her trophies to her, saying, "I adore you and you move my soul every single day." Adele is the first artist to sweep album, song, and record of the year twice (she first won back in 2012). Congrats, Adele!

Gallant Reveals When He First Discovered His Voice

Gallant was nominated for best urban contemporary album at this year's Grammys for his work, Ology, and when we talked to him on the Grammys red carpet on Sunday night, he chatted about when he discovered his own voice.

How Celebrities Used Makeup For Perfect Cleavage on the Grammys Red Carpet

In addition to worrying about double-sided tape and tan lines, celebrities need to take care of the skin on their cleavage before wearing low-cut gowns. The 2017 Grammy Awards were even sexier than ever, with many of Hollywood's elite - Jennifer Lopez, Demi Lovato, and Lady Gaga - showing off their lady bits.

To get your chest photo-ready, try a strategically placed spray tan or use makeup to contour the area between your breasts. There are even facials available to keep the cleavage area clear (it can break out from sweating in sports bras). Or try some of these at-home body care tips for breasts.

At the Grammys, we found out exactly which moisturizers certain celebrities used on their bodies for flawless-looking cleavage. Keep reading to get tips and insider tricks!

Which Celebrity Couple Had the Cutest Grammys Moment?

The Grammys brought out some of Hollywood's sweetest couples on Sunday night. From John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's sweet love to Beyoncé and Jay Z's family outing with Blue Ivy, there were so many cute couple moments during the ceremony, but which pair's interaction was the cutest? Chance the Rapper Manages to Keep His Cool While Posing With Beyoncé at the Grammys

It has certainly been a big night for Chance the Rapper. After taking home best new artist at the Grammy Awards, he managed to nab two extra awards for best rap album and best rap performance during the show, but nothing compares to his sweet interaction backstage with fellow Grammy winner Beyoncé. After adorably freaking out over the "Formation" singer at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, the rapper managed to keep his cool as the two posed together backstage. In the words of Drake himself, he started from the bottom, now he's here.

Demi Lovato Brought Special Someone to the Grammys - It's Not Who You Think

If you were expecting Demi Lovato to bring rumored boyfriend UFC fighter Guilherme "Bomba" Vasconcelos to the 2017 Grammys, we're sorry to say she didn't, but she did bring someone better. Demi had her stepdad, Eddie de la Garza, by her side for her first Grammys as a nominee and second time performing on stage.

Demi has been open about her tumultuous relationship with her biological father, Patrick Lovato, who died in 2013. Eddie has been married to Demi's mom, Diana, since 1995 and has been an important figure in Demi's life, so it's so exciting to see them share this huge moment of the singer's career. On the red carpet, Eddie confessed to Entertainment Tonight, "I'm just trying to hold back tears, but I'm doing alright." How sweet!

Chance the Rapper's Performance at the 2017 Grammys Will Send Chills Down Your Spine

Chance the Rapper was feeling blessed at the 2017 Grammys. After nabbing three Grammys for best new artist, best rap album, and best rap performance, the 23-year-old rapper from Chicago took to the stage to perform his songs "How Great" and "All We Got" alongside gospel singers Kirk Franklin and Tamela Mann. Watch their soulful performance above.

John Legend and Cynthia Erivo Pay Tribute to the Music Icons We Lost Last Year

There was no shortage of amazing moments at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, but the show's touching memorial for fallen stars like Prince, Sharon Jones, Leonard Cohen, George Michael, and more was one of its most memorable. With a heartfelt video montage touching on iconic milestones and musical moments in each of their storied careers, it paid tribute to their legacies in the best way. John Legend and Cynthia Erivo introduced and closed the emotional video with a heartbreaking rendition of The Beach Boys's "God Only Knows," so keep your tissues handy.

Bruno Mars and The Time's Epic Prince Tribute Had Everyone at the Grammys on Their Feet

The music industry (and the world in general) is still recovering from the tragic death of Prince nearly a year later, and thankfully the tribute to his legacy at the Grammys was everything fans could've hoped for. Morris Day and The Time kicked things off with an electric performance of "Jungle Love" that immediately had people in the audience jumping to their feet to do the "Jungle Love" dance from Purple Rain. They also did "The Bird," before Bruno Mars took the stage for the second time that night. With Prince's symbol glowing behind him, he performed "Let's Go Crazy" decked out in in a sparkly purple blazer, a ruffly white shirt, and a white Prince electric guitar that he busted out an epic solo on. The Purple One would no doubt be proud.

Pentatonix Teaches You How to Sing It Out With Their Jackson 5 Tribute

Sit yourself down, take a seat, because Pentatonix's Grammys performance is about to blow you away. After taking home their third Grammy win, the a cappella group gave a sweet tribute to Jackson 5 when they performed their classic hit "ABC" on stage. Not only did they show off their impeccable vocals, but as always, they managed to add their own signature flare to the song.

Lady Gaga's Rhinestone "Flame Eye" Was the Most Badass Beauty Look at the Grammys

If you thought Lady Gaga was just going to repurpose her look from the Grammys red carpet for her performance with Metallica, then you need to brush up on the singer's style. Gaga loves switching up her hair and makeup during the course of an event, and the Grammys was no exception. Her go-to makeup artist, Sarah Tanno, created an edgy "flame eye" just for the show using products from Marc Jacobs Beauty.

For Gaga's red carpet appearance, Tanno had applied Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Matte Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in (Fine)Wine 47 ($25) and smoked it out to create a sultry crimson eye. She crafted a flame-shaped cat eye on top of this, then finished by adding crystals (just like she did for Gaga at the Super Bowl). The result is a showstopping, sparkling style that held up through the singer's crowdsurfing. Keep reading for more shots of the stunning look.

Here's Why the Crowd Booed After Adele Accepted Song of the Year

The audience started booing soon after Adele accepted the Grammy for song of the year, but it wasn't because of her. Adele shared the stage with her producer, Greg Kurstin, as they accepted the award for "Hello," which the pair co-wrote. When she finished speaking, she gestured for him to take a turn at the mic, but the music quickly cut him off as he started to talk. The crowd booed loudly at the awkward cut-off as the camera cut to Solange's introduction for A Tribe Called Quest.

Adele Says "I Love You" to Beyoncé Before Accepting Her Song of the Year Grammy

At Sunday night's Grammys in LA, the award for song of the year went to Adele for "Hello." Even though Adele's acceptance speech was cute in and of itself, you might have missed her adorable moment with Beyoncé on the way to the stage. If you didn't know, both Adele and Beyoncé were on the nomination list for song of the year (Beyoncé for "Formation," naturally). As soon as Adele's name was called, she turned to Beyoncé and mouthed "I love you, I love you." See the GIF above, and don't forget to watch Adele's incredible opening number and her tribute to George Michael.

Everyone Can Go Home Now, Because Blue Ivy Just Had the Best Night at the Grammys

Beyoncé may have sent us into minor cardiac arrest with her show-stopping Grammys performance, but it was little miss Blue Ivy Carter who arguably had the best night on Sunday. In addition to hitting up the show dressed as a miniature version of late singer and fashion icon Prince, the soon-to-be big sister appeared to have a blast cheering on her famous mom with dad Jay Z and jumping into James Corden's star-studded Carpool Karaoke session. Still, the best moments might have been the ones you didn't see on TV, like when she made a silly face at James in the audience or when she casually chatted it up with Rihanna, who also seemed to be having a good time. It's safe to say Blue was definitely enjoying her night.

It's hard to recall every little outfit detail after an awards show, especially at the Grammys. ICYMI: Beyoncé Blessed Us With 2 Gorgeous Grammys Looks

She arrived looking like the queen she is, but toward the end of the Grammys, Beyoncé was giving us straight up glamour. These women, with a range of personal style, are the best dressed: from Beyonce's gold gown, fit for an actual queen, to Rihanna's smoldering two-piece set, each proudly makes her mark with confidence. So, while we're convinced each has solidified her place in the Grammys style hall of fame, only one can get your vote for best dressed. Who will it be?

The 15 Sexiest Looks at the Grammys

Thigh-grazing hemlines and necklines down to there put these Grammys looks into seriously sexy territory. More than perhaps any other red carpet, the Grammy Awards practically demands attention-getting style - and not just from Lady Gaga. Sure, the boundary-pushing singer brought her most provocative look, but stars like Lea Michele, Chrissy Teigen, and Jennifer Lopez followed suit. Slits, cutouts, sheer finishes, plunging necklines made these the sultriest looks of the night. Read on to see the ones that'll make your jaw drop.

Blue Ivy Is Downright Obsessed With Her Sparkly Purse, and It's Relatable AF

Let's be real: when your mom is Beyoncé, you've grown up watching some pretty impressive stuff. But as every fashion girl's experienced, we have real love for great accessories - so we can't blame Blue Ivy for getting distracted by her sparkly Gucci cat purse, even right in the middle of her mom's powerful Grammys acceptance speech. After all, the hot pink plexiglass clutch has Swarovski crystal eyes! Sorry, Beyoncé, but a girl's love affair with the perfect purse is something nobody should deny.

Naturally, the internet related hard when Blue took every possible opportunity to show off her it-bag to the cameras, and her obsession with the glittery clutch became an instant viral sensation. Read on for some of the best reactions!

Beyoncé's Outfit Just Reminded Everyone That She's an Actual Queen, in Case You Forgot

Making her first public appearance since announcing her pregnancy this month, Beyoncé had our jaws dropping when we got a glimpse of her on stage at the 2017 Grammy Awards. Aside from the fact that she was covered from head to toe in gold, Queen Bey had us bowing down to her shimmering look. Adorned with gold roses, the crown just reaffirmed her royal status. Beyoncé's matching gold collar and sheer metallic dress made for the perfect maternity look.

Beyoncé wasn't the only Carter dressed royally. Blue Ivy rocked a Prince-inspired pink suit that had us immediately saying "awww." Keep reading to see the stunning photos of Beyoncé, and then check out her insane performance here.

Don't Just Look at Katy Perry's Grammys Suit, Zoom in on Her Arm Band

She might have walked the red carpet in a feathered Tom Ford gown, but Katy Perry was only gearing up to make a statement at the Grammys. The singer performed her new hit "Chained to the Rhythm" in a white Tom Ford pantsuit, sneakers from her own collection, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Oliver Peoples sunglasses. She matched the picket fence and tiny square house that made up the set, which speak to the song's message that we all live in a comfortable routine or a "bubble."

Some of Katy's fans, however, suggest the pop star was paying homage to Hillary Clinton's DNC suit on stage, slipping into the same uniform the women suffragists wore. (Katy did stand by Hillary's side throughout her entire campaign.) Still, Katy offered up her own twist on the now-iconic look with an arm band that read "Persist." It seems like, with just one short concert, Katy used her clothes and her lyrics to incite hope and optimism - and that's a power move if you ask us.

We Are Never Going to Stop Talking About Lady Gaga's Outfits After the Grammys

Leave it to Lady Gaga to make our jaw drop. Fresh off a showstopping performance at the Super Bowl last weekend, Lady Gaga showed up at the Grammys adorned from head to toe in black leather.

The look included a daring crocodile-print embossed jacket that was both backless and showed an impressive amount of cleavage, while the neck and arms of the jacket featured lots of fringe.

The bottom portion of her ensemble included half a patent-leather leotard decorated with chains and thigh-high leather boots. She completed her outfit with fishnet stockings, aviator sunglasses, and pink highlights, giving off motorcyclist vibes.

We've seen looks like this from Gaga before. The high platform on her boots has become one of the songstress's favorite looks; she wore similarly high shoes to the Grammys last year.

Good Luck Picking Only 1 Favorite Detail From Rihanna's Grammys Look

When you're covered in gorgeous body art, it's a shame to cover it up for the sake of a red carpet - which is exactly why Rihanna proudly showed off her tattoos with her Grammys look. The ever-adventurous performer rocked a vivid orange Armani Privé crop top that flawlessly accentuated her Egyptian rib tattoo, complete with a full, ruffled skirt in moody black. Dripping in Chopard jewels, including a stunning emerald ring that matched her eyes, Rihanna was clearly feeling herself on the red carpet . . . and we're right there with her.

So, is tattoo-bespoke fashion the next big thing in award season wear? If so, we're here for it!

You’ll Do Anything to Get Your Hands on One of Altuzarra’s Fall Coats

If Joseph Altuzarra's Spring 2017 runway was playful and spunky, Fall's collection is the polar opposite. The designer took a muted turn this season, influenced by paintings from the 1500s he found at the Met Museum. That's not to say he didn't put a modern spin on the vintage dresses he studied. Altuzarra brought in plenty of opulent details - lavish fur collars, swirling embroideries, and jacquard - and contrasted them with knee-high, thick-soled combat boots.

Models stomped down the runway, many of them equipped with elbow-length gloves (a la Victoria Beckham), pearl headbands, and gold chandelier earrings that shook back and forth. Slitted skirt sets and velvet suits were appropriate for Altuzarra's devotees like Amal Clooney, who might dare to wear them on the job. But at the end of the lineup were shimmering maxi skirts and gowns in eye-catching jewel tones, all of which were cinched with casual belt straps to give the Altuzarra lady her flavorful twist. Emily Ratajkowski and Jennifer Lawrence will surely take note.

Finally, Altuzarra's new coats will make you swoon. Whether you choose a quilted trench or a smartly stitched cape, (either of which you can pair with the trunk-like cases) this outerwear will last you a lifetime. And to think it was all inspired by a 16th century portrait.

There Was 1 Very Special Detail About Demi Lovato's Grammys Performance

The best part about Demi Lovato's 2017 Grammys performance, a tribute to the Bee Gees, was her vocals, but coming pretty close was her sparkly dress. Nope, we're not wrong, that wasn't a jumpsuit - it was a dress.

The "Confident" singer traded in the supersexy Julien Macdonald gold net gown she wore on the red carpet for a dark gray sparkly dress, which created the illusion of pants with a slit down the middle in the front. Her groovy low-cut look, cinched at the waist by a thick buckle belt, paired with her long, straight black hair made Demi ooze Cher vibes left and right. Keep reading for more photos of her performance outfit.

Adele Sweetly Mentions Her Son While Accepting Her Grammy For Song of the Year

Adele had one hell of a night when she attended the Grammys on Sunday. In addition to opening the show with an amazing performance of "Hello," she also started (and stopped) her tribute to George Michael due to technical issues. She then rounded off the night by winning the award for song of the year for "Hello." When she took the stage, she gave her son Angelo a sweet shout-out and kept apologizing profusely for swearing during the George Michael tribute hiccups. Don't worry, Adele, we still f*cking love you.

A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak Just Called Out "President Agent Orange"

Legendary rappers A Tribe Called Quest appeared at the Grammys, and nearly the entire audience got on their feet. The group gave a shout-out to late member MC Phife Dawg, who passed away last year, before launching into their set alongside Anderson .Paak. The performance is killer, but make sure you catch Busta Rhymes's mention of "President Agent Orange," aka Donald Trump.

Rihanna Sips From a Flask During the Grammys, Continues to Be a Legend Among Us

Rihanna has an amazing habit of taking wine glasses from restaurants and walking down the street with them because, well, she's Rihanna. But at the Grammys on Sunday, the "Work" singer was spotted seated in the crowd sipping from a diamond-encrusted flask, proving that she's not only a total badass, but also someone who has her priorities straight. Never change, Rihanna.

Jennifer Lopez Gets Real: "Our Voices Are Needed More Than Ever"

Before presenting the Grammy award for best new artist of the year, Jennifer Lopez wowed the crowd with an important quote from the past. Yeah, she had us applauding when we first saw her stunning Ralph & Russo gown on the red carpet, and what she said about her relationship with Drake had us smirking, but it's her quote about the importance of music that really got us out of our seats.

"I will never forget my first Grammy nomination or the dress I wore that night," she addressed the crowd jokingly. "But this night is not about dresses, or even awards - it's about music, the words and the voices. How they move us and inspire us and touch all of our lives. At this particular point in history, our voices are needed more than ever."

Jennifer then quoted Toni Morrison's powerful words from her essay "No Place for Self-Pity, No Room for Fear" - as Morrison wrote and the singer quoted, "This is precisely the time when artists go to work. There is no time for despair, no place for self-pity, no need for silence, no room for fear. We speak, we write, we do language. That is how civilizations heal."

Morrison wrote those hard-hitting lines after George W. Bush was reelected in 2004, but Jennifer's choice of words has never been more relevant. She's encouraging all artists to express themselves through their art during this confusing political time.

"So tonight, we celebrate our most universal language: music," Jennifer continued. "As we honor the voices of the past and the present, here's to the new voices."

Demi Lovato and Tori Kelly's Bee Gees Tribute Is Kiiind of Legendary, You Guys

On Sunday, Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, Little Big Town, and Andra Day came together to pay tribute to one of the greatest musical acts of all time (yeah, I said it), the Bee Gees. This year marks the 40th anniversary of Saturday Night Fever and its legendary soundtrack, and the medley proves that some of those songs, like "How Deep Is Your Love" and "Stayin' Alive," will always be in style . . . unlike John Travolta's white disco suit.

Don't Know Sturgill Simpson? His Rousing Grammys Performance Will Turn You Into a Fan

When it was first announced that a dude named Sturgill Simpson was going head to head with the likes of Adele and Beyoncé for album of the year at the Grammys, the most popular reaction was something along the lines of, "Um . . . who is Sturgill Simpson?" Well, after his spirited performance at the 59th annual award show on Sunday night, there's no doubt that the country singer is on his way to becoming a household name. He took the stage to sing "All Around You" with the help of a large chorus, and it will have you up on your feet (and downloading his entire discography) in no time.

Beyoncé's Glowing Pregnant Goddess Grammys Makeup Was All Under $20

Beyoncé was so lit during her 2017 Grammys performance, that gold light seemed to actual beam off of her cheeks, body, and waist-skimming mermaid curls. Her pregnant goddess style started from the top of her head, where she wore a gold-metal floral crown, and extended to her chrome nails. She was so mesmerizing that we left were wondering, is she actually part of the illuminati?

We got word that L'Oréal Paris Celebrity Makeup Artist Sir John did her makeup (as well as her dancers) for the show. We found out exactly what products were used - get ready because it's a lot of gold!

To create a golden complexion, he used L'Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation ($13) mixed with True Match Liquid Lumi Illuminator in Golden ($13). His tip to "amplify" the golden look, is to mix in an eyeshadow pigment, such as Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine ($8).

When it came to contouring, Sir John started with the Infallible Total Cover Concealing & Contour Kit ($17) and then anchored the shading with the Infallible Pro-Contour Palette ($13). It was all blended with the Infallible Blend Artist in Concealer Blender and Contour Blender ($8 each).

OK, now for the good stuff - highlighter! True Match Liquid Lumi Illuminator in Golden ($13) was applied directly to the high parts of the cheekbones. He followed by pressing Infallible 24HR Eyeshadow in Eternal Sunshine ($8) on top of it "to create a golden luminescence."

To get her goddess-like skin, he mixed the illuminator with body lotion and apply all over her body, including legs, arms, and chest.

Beyoncé's metallic eyes began with the brown matte shades in the Colour Riche La Palette Nude ($20). To create a sculpted smokey eye, apply the deeper brown shades in the crease of the eye and lighter nude shades on the lid. Add the Infallible Paints Eyeshadow in Nude Fishnet ($9) on the middle of the eyelid and "blend away" the smokey look and a "create soft, warm halo-like silhouette."

He lined her eyes with Infallible Matte Matic Liner in Deep Brown ($9), keeping it very close to the lash line.

Lashes were generously coated with the Voluminous Original Mascara in Black Brown ($7). Brows were filled in using the Brow Stylist Frame + Set ($13) "as needed" (which we interpret to mean that Beyoncé likely wakes up with perfectly bold arches).

Finally, he layered her pout with Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick in Cork ($18). Then, Dose of Colors Liquid Matte Lipstick in Chocolate Wasted ($18) was added on just the corners of the lips. According to Sir John, this helps to create a contoured, voluminous lip look.

We also learned her manicure shade was OPI Nail Lacquer in Glitzerland ($14).

8 Hilarious Memes of CeeLo Green's Weird Costume at the Grammys

Award shows are about the winners, the performances, and the jaw-dropping looks on the red carpet. This year, at the 2017 Grammys, we saw political statements, gorgeous dresses, and then . . . CeeLo Green's weird gold costume. The internet could not handle the costume (and TBH, neither could we). Ahead, see some of the best memes of people guessing what he stood for.

Lady Gaga Just Channeled Her Hardcore Rock Goddess With Metallica

Lady Gaga is a woman of many genres - especially since taking a detour into country with her latest album - but first and foremost, Lady Gaga is a ROCKER. The metal side of her was on full display at the Grammys when she donned leather, chains, and fishnets for a performance of "Moth Into Flame" with the legendary Metallica. At first one of the mics wasn't working, but they ended up sharing a mic, which was kind of more rock and roll anyway?

Adele Stops and Restarts Her George Michael Tribute at the Grammys After Technical Issues

The sudden, tragic loss of George Michael in December is still weighing heavy on the shoulders of many, and the Grammys made sure to honor his incredible legacy on Sunday night with a musical tribute from Adele. The singer, who kicked off the night with a performance of "Hello," launched into a moving rendition of Michael's song "Fastlove." After singing a few notes, she cursed and paused the performance, referencing the technical issues she experienced last year. "I'm sorry, I can't mess this up for him," she told the audience before restarting the haunting tune and leaving everyone teary-eyed. We have a feeling Michael would wholeheartedly approve.

Gina Rodriguez Sneaked Into the Grammys Wearing a Gorgeous Sheer Dress

After an emotional Jane the Virgin episode, Gina Rodriguez made her way to the 2017 Grammys to introduce a performance by Alicia Keys and Maren Morris, and she made us forget all about that heart-wrenching twist on her show with one hot dress.

Sporting a Monique Lhuillier geometric tile embroidered sheer gown from the designer's Spring 2017 collection, Gina showed off her curves on stage and backstage - we wonder why she didn't take the incredible dress on the red carpet ahead of the show like she did at the SAG Awards with boyfriend Joe LoCicero. Either way, at least we got to see it! Scroll ahead to get an even better glimpse.

In sports, it doesn't matter where you come from or the differences among yourself and your teammates - it's what you do. That's the idea behind Nike's new initiative, a film titled "Equality," that is set to premiere during the Grammys tonight and again next week during the NBA All-Star Game. The goal of the film is to inspire us to take the values of sportsmanship to our everyday lives.

The film stars some of the world's most famous athletes, including Serena Williams, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James. It is narrated by actor Michael B. Jordan and features music from Alicia Keys. Over footage of athletes in a city, Jordan's voice can be heard saying, "Opportunity should not discriminate. The ball should bounce the same for everyone. Worth should outshine color. If we can be equals here, we can be equals everywhere."

The film ends with the words "Equality has no boundaries." Nike has led by example by partnering with PeacePlayers and MENTOR:The National Mentoring Partnership.

The Internet Lost It Over That Chair Lean in Beyoncé's Grammys Performance

If you got anxious when you watched Beyoncé tip back in her chair during her epic Grammys performance, you weren't the only one. Beyoncé was sitting in a chair set on top of a table when she started to slowly dip back, and for a second there, hearts stopped as it looked like she (and her twins!) might fall. Beyoncé and her magical chair appeared to defy gravity, though, like only Queen Bey could, and fans took to Twitter to share their hilarious reactions to the moment.

Beyoncé Accepts Her Grammy Award With a Powerful Speech About Representation

On Sunday night at the Grammy Awards in LA, Beyoncé nearly had us on the floor. In addition to pulling out a jaw-dropping performance, the artist also joined the winners list for best urban contemporary album. (Hopefully the first of many victories for the night.) Beyoncé went onstage to accept her award - she stopped to say hi to her daughter Blue Ivy, naturally - and offered powerful words about why she made Lemonade. Not only was she hoping to "give a voice to the pain" people of color feel at times, but she hopes to inspire little girls over the world "of all races." Tell 'em, Bey.

Maren Morris and Alicia Keys Will Sweep You Off Your Feet With This Performance

Maren Morris and Alicia Keys were among the many performers at the Grammys on Sunday night, and the singers teamed up for a beautiful duet of Maren's hit song "Once." Country fan or not, this performance is just plain beautiful and will sweep you right off your feet.

Blue Ivy Is Definitely James Corden's Most Prestigious Carpool Karaoke Guest

James Corden did an amazing job when he hosted the Grammys on Sunday night. In addition to his hilarious opening number, the star pulled out one of his best skits from The Late Late Show: Carpool Karaoke. After joking about how the beloved skit is the only reason he's well known, he enlisted the help of some of the night's biggest stars to sing along to Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline." The best moment of the whole thing, though, was when Beyoné's 5-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, jumped in. Trust us, you'll melt.
