Dad Proves That His Love For His Kids Is More Important Than Any Issues With His Ex-Wife

On his ex-wife's birthday, Billy Flynn woke up early to buy flowers, cards, and gifts for his boys to give their mom. He then helped his two kids make her breakfast and surprise her with the treats.

Despite his kind actions, though, this dad still receives criticism on a regular basis, so he's explaining his actions to those who don't understand why he does nice things for his ex. "I'm raising two little men. The example I set for how I treat their mom is going to significantly shape how they see and treat women and affect their perception of relationships," Billy shared on Love What Matters Facebook page. "I think even more so in my case because we are divorced. So if you aren't modeling good relationship behavior for your kids, get your sh*t together. Rise above it and be an example. This is bigger than you."

This isn't the first time someone was confused by Billy being on good terms with his ex, so this dedicated dad realizes that he is setting the example both for his children and other adults. "Raise good men. Raise strong women," he wrote. "Please. The world needs them, now more than ever."

Russell Wilson Cradles Ciara's Baby Bump During a Cute Red Carpet Outing

No matter what she's doing, Ciara always makes sure her ever-growing baby bump is the star of the show. A few days after dancing her heart out to Whitney Houston, the "Body Party" singer stepped out with husband Russell Wilson for the Warner Music Group's Grammys afterparty in Hollywood. The always adorable couple lit up the red carpet with their matching smiles and looked especially cute when Russell cradled his wife's stomach in front of photographers. Ciara is already mom to 2-year-old son Future from her previous relationship with the rapper of the same name, but her current pregnancy is the first for her and the Seattle Seahawks quarterback.

James Corden's Carpool Karaoke Series Puts Your Favorite Celebrities in the Driver's Seat

After becoming an internet sensation among The Late Late Show viewers, Carpool Karaoke is getting its own series on Apple Music. A sneak peek at the show was shown during the Grammys on Sunday, where the segment's mastermind, James Corden, was hosting, and it certainly looks like a fun ride. While James won't be the driver for all of the segments (he does appear in Will Smith's episode), the series actually lets other celebrities take control of the wheel as they travel to meaningful places from their past to surprise fans. Carpool Karaoke: The Series will also include special appearances from celebs like Ariana Grande, John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Shaquille O'Neal, just to name a few. We can't wait!

Would We Wait 2 Hours For This Edible Cookie Dough? Yes, Yes We Would

In 2014, Kristen Tomlan left her job to pursue her confectionery dreams and create the best edible cookie dough. Now, Kristen's cookie dough venture has materialized in the form of Dō Cookie Dough Confections, which just opened its very first storefront in New York City.

Dō's products are entirely safe to eat because they are made with a pasteurized egg product and ready-to-eat flour - both of which are treated with a heat process that kills harmful bacteria and eliminates any chance of salmonella.

While edible cookie dough sounds simple enough, the highly anticipated brick-and-mortar shop has an extensive menu. For starters, you can order scoops of cookie dough or ice cream - or both - and have them served in a cup or cone with classic toppings. The cookie dough flavors include chocolate chip, sugar cookie, brownie batter, oatmeal M&M's, and commando - a signature dough without chocolate chips. Then there are crazier flavor combinations that bring together different toppings and flavors in an over-the-top manner, like the Chocolate Dream which combines brownie batter cookie dough, chocolate chips, and Oreo cookies.

In addition, Dō also offers ice cream sandwiches, milkshakes, cookie cakes, pies, fudge, and more - all using their cookie dough, of course. If raw cookie dough was never your thing, you can also take the dough home to bake cookies or other treats.

Dō is officially open for business at 550 LaGuardia Place, Tuesday to Sunday starting at 10 a.m. You might want to get there early because the wait is said to be around one to two hours. Scoops range from $4 to $9. Ahead, we've rounded up some pictures of the adorable shop, as well as their most mouthwatering menu items.

The Front Row at New York Fashion Week Looks So Good, We Can't Stop Staring

The runway is the natural place to look when you're at a show, but we would be lying if we said our eyes didn't drift over to the front row. That's where you'll spot actresses, models, and bloggers mingling and giving interviews. Perhaps they're even hoping to find their next big red carpet look. Getting a glimpse of the stars and what they're wearing is almost as exciting as being at the show. As New York Fashion Week races on, we have a feeling this season's front row will be the most stylish one yet. Read on to see who popped up at what show already.

Girl Absolutely Covered in Sparkles Is Proof That Glitter Is the Devil's Work

There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Parenting with Jessica Mullan Pierce

Posted by Josh Pierce on Sunday, February 5, 2017

Glitter, though pretty when contained, is the stuff a parent's nightmares are made of. Waking up from the nightmare wasn't an option for Josh and Jessica Pierce, however, as their young daughter completely covered herself - and the bathroom - in blue sparkles to the point that she closely resembled something out of Avatar. Instead of getting mad, though, Josh calmly talks to Norah about what she's done - and for all of us viewing at home, the encounter is nothing but hysterical.

The video begins as Josh opens the doors to hell the bathroom, and Norah, who surely knows she's made a huge mistake, announces, "I've got beautiful glitter on!" As the little one tries to explain that she just wanted to put some glitter on her face ("Look, it looks beautiful!"), Josh and Jessica both try to address the situation, but Jessica is lost to giggles.

"You're too bedazzled. You're sneezing glitter," Josh says as Norah sneezes. "You look shiny like a fairy - everything's glittery, it's still falling through the air." Unfortunately for us, the video ends there as Josh sighs and presumably enters the scene of the crime to figure out how the heck he's going to get his child and bathroom glitter-free.

The hilarious video of Norah has already racked up over 11 million views, so it's likely we'll be seeing this viral little one on Ellen in the near future (probably with the same glitter on her face because it doesn't look like there's a hope in hell those sparkles are coming off anytime soon).

Prince William and Kate Middleton Will Visit Paris Nearly 20 Years After Princess Diana's Death

Prince William and Kate Middleton's latest royal trip hits particularly close to home. The royal couple is set to make a two-day trip next month to Paris, the same city where his mother, Princess Diana, died in a tragic car accident nearly 20 years ago. While their trip will include some formal events like visiting the British government and attending a dinner with the UK's ambassador, they will also attend the France vs. Wales rugby match and a reception with young French leaders. Their visit to the City of Light isn't the only way the royal family will pay tribute to Diana during the anniversary year of her death. Later in 2017, William and his brother, Prince Harry, are set to unveil a public tribute to their late mother, which will be placed near Kensington Palace.

When It Comes to Fashion Month, Joan Smalls Is the Ruler of the Runway

Every Fashion Week season, you can count on three things: there will be looks you want to rip off the model and wear immediately, but also some that'll make you go "WTF?!," and through it all Joan Smalls will be on the runway.

The gorgeous Puerto Rican model is a staple at New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week (sometimes even appearing in menswear shows), but this time she kicked off her busy schedule of runway after runway somewhere else. She walked the highly anticipated Tommy Hilfiger show in Los Angeles, featuring designs by Gigi Hadid and models like Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin. In two stunning looks (a '90s-inspired oversize pullover dress and a patchwork swimsuit), Joan caught our attention, and then kept it during New York Fashion Week, walking for La Perla and Prabal Gurung. Scroll ahead to check out more photos of her time on the runway.

We're Just Gonna Say It: Chance the Rapper Had the Best Night at the Grammys

Saying Chance the Rapper had a huge night at the Grammys on Sunday would be an understatement. The "No Problem" singer took home not one, not two, but three trophies for best new artist, best rap album, and best rap performance and killed his performances of "All We Got" and "How Great." On top of all that, the Chicago rapper also mingled with some of the biggest stars at the Grammys. He got a hug from Jay Z and Beyoncé (who had her own big night), hung out with James Corden and Rihanna, and spoke with legendary producer Quincy Jones at a GQ afterparty held in his honor. At just 23 years old, Chance is already taking over the music industry, and we couldn't be more excited.

Fifty Shades Darker: 28 Big Differences Between the Book and the Film

This early Valentine's Day weekend, Fifty Shades Darker premiered in theaters nationwide. The second installment of the trilogy, the film is adapted from E L James's book of the same name. The erotic, romantic drama continues to explore the relationship between recent graduate, Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson), and billionaire entrepreneur, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan). As if navigating their relationship wasn't complicated enough, a crazy ex-girlfriend and a sexually aggressive boss complicate things.

Fortunately for fans, the film sticks closely to the plot of the book, featuring a luxurious lifestyle and elaborate gifts, witty banter and demanding behavior (on Christian's end anyway), and, of course, lots and lots of sex. However, it does stray from the books in a few ways. Some small differences include less domineering and possessive behavior from Christian (yes, that's actually possible), the absence of email and text exchanges (which were frequent in the first film, Fifty Shades of Grey), and fewer sex scenes - they have to keep the movie under six hours somehow! To learn of some of the bigger changes, including the absence of major new characters, as well as key plot points, read our list below. WARNING: Major spoilers ahead!

  1. In the film, Ana attends José's gallery opening on her own and Christian's attendance is a surprise to her. However, in the book, Christian reminds Ana of the show (which she has forgotten), and they attend together as dates.
  2. There's no doubt about it - Jack is a major creeper in the movie. His assistants quit abruptly, he openly dislikes Christian, and he eventually assaults Ana in his office. Though his behavior is by no means subtle, it is much more aggressive in the book. He persistently asks Ana to go out with him, comments on her appearance and wardrobe, gives her inappropriate compliments, and he uses her private email exchanges with Christian to blackmail her for sexual favors.
  3. In the film, though angry at first, Christian and Ana calmly discuss the work conference in New York, which she's supposed to attend with Jack. They eventually come to an agreement, and she decides not to go. However, in the book, Christian (who has already completed the purchase of SIP) freezes the company's accounts so that they can't go no matter what.
  4. In the book, just Ana and Jack are able to attend happy hour. This makes his inappropriate behavior stand out much more than had this scene followed the books, where multiple coworkers join them.
  5. In the book, when Christian and Ana attend the masquerade ball, Mia arranges a special dance auction and signs Ana up without her knowledge. After a surprisingly heated bidding war for a dance with Ana, Christian bids $100,000, shocking everyone. This entire sequence is omitted from the film.
  1. In the book, when Ana and Christian attend the ball, Ana meets Christian's maternal grandparents, as well as therapist Dr. Flynn. Though significant in the novel, not a single one of their characters appears in the film.
  2. In the film, when returning home from the ball, Ana's car has been vandalized. Suspecting Leila, Christian takes Ana on his boat to keep her safe, not even allowing her into the apartment to retrieve her things. In the book, Christian and Ana are already in the elevator up to the apartment when they learn that something is wrong. After a tense scene between Christian and his security team, the house is deemed clear. However, when Ana recounts seeing a woman in the apartment the night before (which she assumed was a dream), Christian whisks her off to a hotel, using Mr. and Mrs. Taylor (named after his bodyguard) as aliases, to keep her hidden.
  3. When Christian first takes Ana to the salon he co-owns with Mrs. Robinson, aka Elena Lincoln, he vows to pick her up and carry her down the street if she doesn't obey him. While a playful threat in the film, he actually goes through with it in the book, carrying her over his shoulder for many blocks.
  4. In the film, Taylor (Max Martini) hardly has any lines. However, in the book, he is a prominent character with a backstory. You would never know that he had a young daughter and Christian pays for her education!
  5. In the film, Christian explains that the death of Leila's husband causes her to have a breakdown. In the book, Leila leaves her husband for a random man, and it's her lover that dies in the car crash. Subsequently, her husband refuses to have anything to do with her, despite her scary mental state and attempted suicide.
  1. In the first film of the trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey, Christian buys Ana a car as a college graduation present. This is seen as an outrageous gift, and it often makes Ana uncomfortable. In the book, Fifty Shades Darker, it's revealed that Christian buys the same car for all of his submissives, so it's not all that special. (In Oprah's voice: "You get a car! And, you get a car! Everyone gets a car!")
  2. In the book, Christian hires a personal bodyguard just for Ana named Luke Sawyer. He accompanies her to work every day and acts as a partner to Taylor. His character is not present in the film adaptation.
  3. In the film, Mrs. Robinson interacts with Ana only twice: at their first official meeting, where they have a heated discussion in the bathroom at the ball, and once more after Christian announces his engagement to Ana. In the book, Mrs. Robinson tries numerous times to contact Ana. She acquires her work email, invites her to lunch, and, after receiving no response, shows up uninvited at Christian's apartment. However, Ana's attitude toward her (strong hatred, in case you were wondering) is the same in both instances.
  4. In the book, Kate's brother, Ethan, visits his sister and Ana. Since he's supposed to be staying in the apartment that the two friends share, Ana isn't suspicious when someone buzzes her into her place . . . only to find Leila. Ethan, who is a large character in the books (even dating Christian's sister, Mia), is absent from the film adaptation.
  5. In the film, there's no mention of Ana's car after it's found vandalized. However, in the book, Christian takes Ana to a car dealership so that she can choose a replacement.
  1. In the book, José visits Ana in Seattle and, very awkwardly, stays with her and Christian in their apartment. This explains why he's with the family after they gather at the news of Christian's helicopter crash. This entire scene is omitted from the movie.
  2. In the first film, Christian sends Ana to a Dr. Greene to get a birth control prescription. Had the sequel followed the book, Ana would have met with Dr. Greene again to have a different kind of birth control administered. Ana tells her that she went off of the pill after she and Christian broke up, and Dr. Greene fears that she could be pregnant . . . which foreshadows events in the final chapter of the series. However, Dr. Greene doesn't make an appearance in Fifty Shades Darker.
  3. In the book, as their relationship progresses, Christian takes Ana to view a house that he wants to buy for them. In the film, while Ana and Christian are sailing on his boat, The Grace, she spots a house on the shore and takes an interest in it. However, these are just passing remarks and there's no direct suggestion that Christian will purchase it.
  4. In the movie, Ana is at a bar with José, Kate, and Elliot when Elliot relays the news that Christian's chopper is missing. In the books, Elliot is replaced by Kate's brother, Ethan. Absent from the party, Elliot calls Kate on the phone and asks to speak with Ana, giving her the bad news.
  5. In the film, while Christian's friends and family are watching the news for information about his crash, the reporter mentions that Christian is an expert pilot. However, viewers never discover what exactly happened to make Charlie Tango go down. In the book, Christian and his team openly suspect sabotage, making it more obvious that Jack Hyde is likely responsible.
  1. In the movie, Kate's presence is sorely missed (by Ana, as well as audience members). In the novel, after returning from her trip with Elliot, Kate finds the contract that Christian had originally drawn up in hopes of making Ana his submissive. Now in on the secret of their BDSM past, Ana confides in Kate and assures her that their relationship has changed.
  2. In the film, Taylor drives Ana and Christian to her former apartment so that she can retrieve a few things before moving into his apartment. When she arrives, Leila (who snuck into her place) threatens her with a gun; Christian and Taylor come to the rescue when they hear the gunshot. This sequence of events strays from the book in a couple of ways. First, Kate's brother, Ethan, is staying in their apartment during his visit; Ana goes to check in on him, not to gather things for her move with Christian. Secondly, instead of a gunshot, it's Ethan's eventual arrival that signals a problem to Taylor and Christian - someone other than himself must have let Ana into the apartment.
  3. In the film, after Christian forces Ana to leave him alone with Leila, she defies his orders and wanders around the city to clear her head. Afterwards, the only thing she learns of Leila's situation is that she's been hospitalized to get the care she needs. In the book, however, Ana and Ethan go to the bar across the street from her apartment to watch events unfold; Christian's therapist, Dr. Flynn, arrives and (with hospital orderlies in tow) places Leila into a car to the hospital.
  4. Aside from the off-putting initial interaction between Leila and Christian, the movie doesn't show much of their encounter. However, in the book, he bathes Leila to soothe her, which thoroughly upsets Ana.
  5. In the book, Christian and Ana constantly argue about her diet; she eats rarely and numerous people remark on her weight loss. These exchanges, however, are missing from the movie.
  6. In the film, Christian proposes to Ana after waking up from a nightmare. In the book, fearing that he will lose her after telling her about his mother, he proposes while kneeling before her submissively. (This scene is briefly shown in the film.)
  7. In both the film and the book, Ana is hesitant to marry Christian. However, in the book, it's only after she speaks with his therapist, Dr. Flynn, that she feels comfortable enough to accept.
  8. Lastly, although it may seem like the couple is constantly getting it on, there are a few key sex scenes missing. The book includes a pool table scene, as well as a Red Room birthday celebration.

The Grammys Produced Our New Favorite Duo: John Travolta and Lady Gaga

The Grammys blessed us with a lot this year - Blue Ivy's adorable existence, Adele's relatable personality, Rihanna drinking from a diamond-encrusted flask - but one thing we weren't expecting was to fall in love with new celebrity friendships. That's exactly what happened, however, when Lady Gaga and John Travolta both attended the Interscope afterparty at the Peppermint Club. John, who poked fun at himself during the show, busted out some of his Saturday Night Fever dance moves when he partied with Gaga. Sorry in advance if "Stayin' Alive" is stuck in your head now.

3 Savory Ways to Add Chocolate to Pasta, According to Giada De Laurentiis

Giada De Laurentiis told us the most surprising ingredient she adds to pasta is chocolate. You may be wondering, "But how?!" To celebrate Valentine's Day, Giada has shared several enticing ideas on her new website Giadzy that you can easily recreate at home. Though it seems efficient to combine chocolate and dinner in one, you can always end the meal with a true dessert "pasta:" Giada's chocolate-hazelnut ravioli.

How to Decorate a Naked Cake in 5 Easy Steps

There's no doubt about it, naked cakes are having a moment. Baking and decorating one of these beauties might seem like a daunting project, but we'll let you in on a little secret: it's not as hard as it looks, provided you have some guidance and the right tools. (I wouldn't recommend attempting a tiered wedding cake on your first go, but a three-to-four-layer situation is totally doable.) Here, we break it all down for you, so you can have your cake and eat it too.

Before you begin decorating, you'll need to bake and completely cool three to four cake layers and prepare a large batch of buttercream frosting (this is not the time for seven-minute or whipped-cream-based frosting, as they're not sturdy enough). I made one and a half times this frosting recipe and had some, but not an outrageous amount, leftover. A note on the cake layers: since the sides will be naked, and therefore visible, take extra care to prep your pan, so that the layers will release neatly. We used Williams-Sonoma's excellent goldtouch nonstick pans (8-inch), but any nonstick pan should do the trick. For extra insurance, we also prepped the pans by lining with parchment, greasing, and flouring.

Beyoncé Released a New Song With Jay Z and DJ Khaled Before the Grammys Were Even Over

Beyoncé had quite a night at the Grammys on Sunday, from winning best urban contemporary album to freaking the internet out over her choice of chair during her epic performance. Right as the award show was finishing up and announcing Adele had won album of the year, DJ Khaled - who was the opening act throughout the Formation world tour - dropped a new song called "Shining" with Bey and Jay Z. The jam's artwork features Khaled's son, Ashad, and is already stuck in countless heads. Listen to it below!

Huma Abedin Stands Behind Hillary Clinton, but Her Style Is Unmissable

Huma Abedin is a well-known politician who has backed Hillary Clinton since 2008, though she was hired as her intern in 1996. She still makes many appearances alongside the former Democratic nominee. While Huma could keep her wardrobe to neutral shifts and black pumps, she's had plenty of time to experiment. Keeping things plain is not her cup of tea.

Huma is one of those leaders who commands attention. She rarely repeats an outfit and is always fully accessorized from head to toe. When she's on the red carpet, like at the White House Correspondents' Dinner or the Met Gala, she selects designer pieces that speak to her unique style - it's polished but colorful and rarely without a flash of metallics.

For her wedding to former Congressman Anthony Weiner, Huma wore a gilded Oscar de la Renta gown that made the fashion world stir. The pair have since separated, but an image of Huma in her embellished cap-sleeve dress will always live on in our minds. That, and the 22 bold style notes we're taking from her. Read on to see why whenever Hillary's around, we look for the sophisticated lady standing behind her.

Rihanna Dancing at the Grammys Is All of Us at a Party

We didn't think it was possible to love Rihanna anymore than we already do, but her Grammys appearance on Sunday night made it happen. Even though she didn't take home any awards during the night, that didn't stop her from having a good time. During the show, she proved she was a true legend when she traded her signature wine glass for a diamond-encrusted flask, but the best part was when she danced along to A Tribe Called Quest's performance. Not only are her facial expressions too funny, but she really gets into it as she feels the beat. Work it, girl.

Work, work, work, work, work, work.

When the Grammys Afterparties Started, These Stars Were Ready With New Outfits

There were more outfit changes at the Grammys than we could count. Every time a star stepped on stage, from Katy Perry to Beyoncé, they wore an outfit more stunning than the last. By the time the afterparties rolled around, well, you can be sure the celebs had another look or two ready.

Though we expected to see some cool afterparty gowns, the Grammys is a place for fashion experimentation. That means anything goes - including leather couture looks and duster coats at the parties. Scroll on to see who wore what as they continued celebrating the night away.

Derek and Hannah Jeter Are Expecting Their First Child!

Derek and Hannah Jeter are going to be parents! The former Sports Illustrated swimsuit model announced the exciting news on The Players' Tribune on Monday. "Now, pregnant with our first child, Derek and I are looking to the future," she said. "He already has a name in mind - he's set on it. (We'll see.) He'll say when he calls me during the day: 'So, how are you and so-and-so doing?' 'That's not the name yet, sweetie.' Whatever her name is, I know she'll run circles around him." The Most Popular Kate Spade New York Accessories of All Time Are Such a Throwback

Kate Spade New York is the brand behind some pretty iconic accessories. The label's themed bags and jewels make for pretty fabulous street style moments, so it's no wonder you see them all over Fashion Week. If a statement item catches your eye, you can bet it's Kate Spade. Whether it was because they sold out instantly, cementing their status as must haves (who could forget that swan bag?), or were inspired by special memories, the accessories ahead all achieve Kate Spade's signature flair. In fact, Deborah thinks these are the best items ever made.

The 1 Pasta Recipe Every Beginner Should Make, According to Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay sat down to answer the internet's questions in an AMA about MasterClass, the chef's new online cooking series. Unsurprisingly, Gordon didn't hold back his number of "f*cks" or honest responses, giving fans - or "supporters," as he prefers to call them - the answers they really wanted. In addition to weighing in on questions about hot topics like cannabis-infused foods, to which Gordon responded, "I get high off perfection, I don't need cannabis," the MasterChef Junior host shared the one pasta recipe he thinks every beginner should make to impress a date.

When someone asked, "What is a good dish that a single guy (who can't cook) should make to impress a first date?" Gordon responded with the advice below.

"Pasta is a great way to show some great flair, in a way that, whether it's dry spaghetti or even fresh made tagliatelle pasta. I would start off with a sort of roasted shallot, garlic, chili, fresh lime juice, with flaked crab meat over it. Once you've mastered the basics and so simply done like that, using pasta as a starch is with an amazing protein. So is it a beautiful caramelized breast of chicken on that pasta, is that amazing marinated slice of tuna. So start off with pasta, and that's really exciting to show off some great skills mastering pasta.

If you really want to be the ultimate single guy, looking for the most extreme date, crank a little pasta machine, sit her down, serve her the most amazing glass of Champagne, and just tell her to sit and watch for five minutes while I roll the pasta. Now rolling that pasta through the machine and cranking it down into those thin layers and all of a sudden you've got this tiny bowl of pasta, 5 minutes later you've got this 10 meter incredible rivered table of pasta. I swear to god, 50 shades, shadier, trust me, this will be 50 sheets of pasta in your duvet!"

Fifty sheets of pasta? Sounds just about as romantic as a date can get. Catch up on Gordon's full AMA here.

Dunkin' Donuts' New Bottled Iced Coffees Are Here, and We Are Pumped

Dunkin' Donuts bottled coffees have officially hit store shelves. The ready-to-drink beverages, which come in four flavors, are available at grocery stores, convenience stores, mass merchandisers, and some Dunkin' Donuts stores. So if you want, you can now say goodbye to the long coffee shop lines in the morning and stock up on these bottles straight from your favorite grocer instead.

Dunkin' Donuts fittingly announced the news of these new drinks on National Coffee Day last year, and we've been anxiously patiently waiting to get our hands on them to try. Thankfully, today was that day, and we tried them all so you know which one to pick up from the grocery store first.

Original: The original flavor tastes exactly like what you'd get at a standard Dunkin' Donuts store, if a little on the sweet side. One of our taste testers, who is a Dunks devotee, said this flavor was amazing.

Mocha: The mocha option was a little too sweet for our tasters. It was a good afternoon pick-me-up for anyone who likes their coffee to be on the sweet side.

French Vanilla: This flavor went over really well with our tasters. One said it was like heaven in her mouth! It was very smooth and sweet, perfect to have as a dessert post dinner.

Espresso: The espresso flavor was exactly the afternoon boost we were looking for. It was very sweet and didn't have an overpowering espresso taste.

And there you have it! Overall, all four options were a hit among coffee fans here, so next time you need a morning - or afternoon - caffeine fix, you can reach for one of these ready-to-drink options.

How to Get Your Career Mojo Back After Years of Stay-at-Home Mom-ing

About three years ago, I quit my job as an editor at POPSUGAR Moms to stay at home with my new son and 3-year-old daughter. Huh, you may be asking yourself, am I not reading a story written by you for POPSUGAR Moms? Well, yes, because just a few months after I officially resigned, my boss offered me the chance to come back as a freelance contributor, meaning I could write a little and be with my kids a lot more.

I jumped at the chance, knowing I have the great fortune of working for a company that supports women in every stage of their lives, respects their ability to determine what life-work balance is best for them, and offers non-traditional working situations. (The fact that I chose an inherently flexible career also didn't hurt). However, I also know I am one of the lucky few women to have this kind of effortlessly balanced work-mom life.

Over the last year I've witnessed many mom friends ship their youngest kid off to school only to realize that they had dozens of empty hours in their lives (part awesome, part weird, part boring). Suddenly, that old motivation to find a fulfilling, well-compensated job returned, but after years out of the workforce, they didn't know where to begin. Should they become Pilates instructors, open Etsy boutiques, beg for the jobs they left over half a decade before?

If you're in a similar boat, here's how to start to get your career mojo back.

  1. Figure out why you want to go back. Think of it as setting your career intention. Are you motivated by money? Boredom? Or do you want to reenter a career that you love for personal satisfaction and development? Knowing the why behind your motivation to return to work will help you to determine what kind of job makes sense for you.
  2. Do you want to reenter the career you had before kids or are you looking to start a new one? Even as a long-time writer/editor/journalist who's always loved what I do, I've occasionally considered other jobs (yoga instructor, children's book author, and podcast host have all been on the list). Although it might be easiest to jump back into your prekids career, really think about whether it really makes sense for your current life - or if now's the time to follow another passion.
  3. Do you want to work full or part time? How important are flexible hours? For the next eight years, at least one of my kids will be home from school by 2:30 p.m., and because I want to be there when they get off the bus, a 9-5 job won't work for me. Evaluate your situation to see what kind of job makes sense (part-time, work from home, etc.), and understand that you might have to do some negotiating to make a traditional work schedule fit into your life.
  4. Consider when to start looking for a job. Don't turn down the perfect gig no matter when it's offered . . . unless it comes with a start date a week before the beginning of your kids' Summer breaks. Kidding, kind of, but unless that job comes with a paycheck big enough for a full-time sitter, it might not make sense to start your search until your kids are back in school.
  5. Ask working moms in your circle for advice. Most moms are more than willing to share their experiences, good and bad, and are eager to help you learn from their mistakes. So reach out over a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
  6. Reestablish contact with former employers and coworkers for advice. If you are interested in reentering the career you had before kids, now's the time to start sending emails to all the people you used to work with and to ask for job leads and general advice. If it's been a long time since you've worked, the industry might have changed, so these people can be invaluable resources.
  7. If you're entering a new field, understand that you might have to start from the bottom . . . again. Don't shortchange your skill set and talents, but try to take your ego out of it. Starting a whole new career requires a willingness to do some dirty work, but who's better than a mom at dirty work?!
  8. Rediscover your career confidence and don't discount your new skills. If you had kids before you had time to fully establish your career, it can be hard to feel confident about what you now bring to the table, but without a doubt, you bring a lot. Home CEO, lead parent, expert multitasker, conflict resolution specialist . . . you have gained experience as a stay-at-home mom that you should be proud of.
  9. Be patient, but persistent. Finding the perfect job is just as hard as finding the perfect mate, the perfect house, and the perfect postpregnancy bra. It takes time, patience, and persistence, but the work you put into it will eventually be rewarded.

Use This Dietitian-Approved Method to Lose Weight Without Limiting Portions

We've been told that portion control is the key to weight loss success, and in many cases, it totally can be. But what if we told you you didn't have to control portions and you could still lose weight? Yes, there's a catch. You have to eat the right foods.

The concept has been referred to as "volume eating," but the idea in and of itself is not new. In fact, registered dietitian Lisa Eberly, MPH, said she's been using the general idea with her clients for years. "I recommend it," said Lisa. Have you ever heard someone say "no one ever gained weight eating vegetables"? It has a lot to do with calorie density. Let's take a look at what this all means.

What Is Calorie Density?

Here's the deal - foods have different weights and volumes that are not necessarily proportionate to their calorie density. What that means is, there can be a small, light food with tons of calories, or a large, more weighty food with very few calories, and vice versa.

We learned about small, calorie dense foods when Marni Sumbal, MS, RD, CSSD, LD/N, explained that athletes actually need more calories with less weight - think eggo waffles with maple syrup, dried fruit, and plain cereals.

So for weight loss, think the opposite - you want food that fills you up quickly, with fewer calories. Most of those foods are plants. Kimberly Gomer, RD, and Director of Nutrition at Pritikin Longevity Center + Spa said, "It's not a surprise that vegetables are the lowest calorie-dense food on the planet." This has a lot to do with their water content. "Water is heavy; water logged food therefore has little caloric value because the water takes up the weight of the pound." Because of this, vegetables "will help you lose weight and give you many of the vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients," which are all "needed for a strong immune system, to prevent cancer, to promote good blood sugar control, and yes, to lose weight."

In addition to the calorie-packed foods Sumbal mentioned, Gomer also spoke to which foods are more calorie dense and less voluminous (ie, not optimal for weight loss). Among those? Fats. "By pound the highest calorie-dense food (meaning the food that will most easily pack on the pounds) is surprisingly not junk food," she said. "It's oils, nuts, seeds, and avocados." Before you freak out, know that these foods are still healthy. "[It's] not that those foods are not healthy; the distinction comes from what may not hurt your heart but will make you gain weight," she said.

How Does It Work?

Applied to dieting, you focus on large portions of hearty, filling, weighted veggies. "I suggest increasing the volume of nutrient dense, low-calorie foods for anyone who wants to lose weight. It is a great way to increase fullness and eat a huge plate of food without getting too many calories."

Gomer believes that this tactic is far more sustainable than merely controlling portions. "Many diets rely on calorie counting and portion control; it works, but the problem is it is not sustainable," she told POPSUGAR. "Most people who go on calorie-counting/portion-control diets fail." She also said that because this type of eating is so sustainable, it can be life-changing. "[I] believe that hunger is the enemy of weight loss; in following the calorie density principles, a person will not only lose weight but become healthier as a whole."

That said, Eberly still suggests being somewhat mindful of your portions. "I'm all for volume eating, but being mindful of portions is still important, especially for things cooked in olive oil, as one tablespoon is more than 100 calories!"

What Are Some Volume-Eating Meals?

Obviously, veggies are huge in volume eating - but so are fruits and whole grains like oats! Here are some ideas.

J Lo Just Wore the Sneakers That Will Take You From the Gym to the Mall - in Style

While we didn't get another naked dress moment from Jennifer Lopez at the 2017 Golden Globes, the singer and Shades of Blue actress did manage to reaffirm her status as a street style maven over Globes weekend, wearing a chic all-black workout look with major statement accessories - namely bright sneakers every fan of color will lust over.

Jennifer wore a pair of custom coral Nike Air Presto Ultra Flyknit ($200) shoes while on a shopping trip to Barney's New York in Los Angeles, matching her animal-print handbag with the bold footwear. While this ab-tastic look is significantly more relaxed than her recent fur wrap coat-clad outing in NYC, it's just as lust-worthy, especially for athleisure enthusiasts. Adele's George Michael Tribute Meant So Much More to Her Than You May Realize

There were a lot of memorable moments when it comes to Adele's Grammys night. After all, she won every awards she was nominated for and spent a fair amount of the night gushing about Beyoncé. Perhaps her most memorable part of the night came when she paid tribute to George Michael. It was a moment that was so important to her that she stopped and restarted the song when she felt like the performance wasn't going as expected. Backstage in the press room, Adele was asked to comment on the moment, and it turns out this was more than just a tribute. The singer had been working hard on it, and George Michael was one of the most influential individuals in her young life. Read her quotes about him below.

  • On the tribute: "I've been working really hard on this tribute for a month. Every day . . . They didn't want a tribute at first, his family and camp and stuff like that. And they came back and were very specific that it be me, and I was like, 'I've got something in the pipeline! If you want me to do it, I'll do it."
  • On his impact in her younger years: "My earliest memory of me being a lone fan out of my family was "Fastlove." It was when the video came out for that, and I was blown away by how f*cking HOT he was. It's actually quite exceptional how goodlooking he was. And I was young, you know, I was about 10. And I heard the vulnerability of that song. Especially in the middle eight, when it goes from being about one night stands and being a little bit sleazy to saying, 'in the absence of security, I made my way into the night,' and 'I lost my way' basically."
  • On why he's such an important figure in music: "I found him to be one of the truest icons, because a lot of the time with people that globally known and famous, there tends to be - not a fakeness in a bad way - but they put on this massive bravado and this alter ego to protect themselves, and rightly so. And I completely understand and appreciate that. But for him, it didn't always seem to be solely based on a look or about an assumption."

Here's the Political Message Behind Katy Perry's Grammys Performance

Did anyone else notice the symbolism behind Katy Perry's white pantsuit?

Solange Knowles Explains Why She Looks Up to Icons Like Nina Simone

Sunday night's Grammy Awards served as a pretty significant benchmark for Solange Knowles. After slaying the red carpet, the music artist also joined the winners' list, earning a best R&B performance victory for "Cranes in the Sky." Backstage in the press room, Knowles spoke to the press about her win and the influential messages woven into her work. With deep-meaning songs like "Cranes in the Sky" and the notably symbolic "Don't Touch My Hair," it's clear her album A Seat at the Table is quite charged. As it turns out, Knowles draws this power and intention from icons of the past, most notably, Nina Simone.

"I look to Nina Simone and Marvin Gaye and the artists of our time that have really pushed political messages through, through their music and their artistry. I think that all we can do as artists, and especially as songwriters, is write about what's true to us. I think that the music that is out right now and really connecting and thriving reflects that. . . . It's not easy; it's scary putting yourself out on the line and making political and social statements with your words. So I just honor the greats, you know? I look to Nina Simone. . . . It's an interesting trajectory of her career; now she's being so celebrated and revered. She was really shut up during that time. She was really told to just sing. Those are the artists who paved the way for us."

Then there's the other kind of statement you can make as a musician in the industry. After her sister Beyoncé lost the album of the year award to Adele (much to the sadness of Adele herself), Solange tweeted out Frank Ocean's incendiary Tumblr post that asserts the Grammys are outdated and out of touch. "Wuddup, Frank," she wrote. Damn, girl.
