What President Trump Eats Every Day - and Why This Nutritionist Has Her Concerns

Image Source: Getty / Stephen Lovekin

During a prepresidency interview with CNN, Donald Trump opened up about his predilection for fast food. He said, "I'm a very clean person. I like cleanliness, and I think you're better off going there than maybe someplace that you have no idea where the food's coming from. It's a certain standard." One nutritionist, however, recently shared her concerns about the president's poorly balanced diet.

Jo Travers is an esteemed nutritionist and the author of The Low Fad Diet. She recently assessed Trump's everyday diet in an interview with The Guardian, and it was pretty eye-opening.

For starters, Trump isn't a big breakfast fan and he's reportedly said, "My big thing is dinner." If he absolutely must have breakfast, he opts for bacon, eggs, or cornflakes. Travers strongly advised against the consumption of bacon. She said, "It's a processed pork product, which has been linked with cancer, so his risk of developing the disease will go up." Given that his usual breakfast is so protein-heavy, Travers recommended a better balance of protein and carbs.

The president has also spoken about his love of meatloaf. He once prepared meatloaf with Martha Stewart and said he often likes to eat meatloaf sandwiches. Travers said meatloaf sandwiches are just fine if prepared with whole-wheat bread. She did, however, bemoan the lack of vegetables or fruit: "Meatloaf is essentially just meat. There's no roughage. And no fibre impacts on gut health. If you don't feed your gut bacteria with fruit and vegetables, that can impact the immune system and lead to infections."

Then there's Trump's commitment to fast-food purveyors like McDonald's and KFC. Following his win during the primary election, Trump celebrated with McDonald's signature Big Mac and fries. Later that Summer, he shared a picture of himself eating fried chicken on his private plane. Albeit delicious, these aren't the healthiest choices. Travers noted these meals are packed with trans fats and linked to heart disease.

In addition to its physical effects, Trump's heavy diet may have mental and emotional implications, as well, specifically due to the lack of healthy fats and omega-3s. "His body will substitute with other types of fats, which are less fluid, making it harder for neuro transmitters to get through," Travers said, adding, "This is linked to mood disorders."

Much like his policies, the president's diet is vastly different than that of Barack Obama, whose main late-night snack was once described as being "seven lightly salted almonds."

7 Types of Kid Sleepers and How to Handle Each

With my two children, ages 5 and 3, I was blessed in many areas. Sleep was not one of them. Sure, they're healthy, bright, adorable little imps who make me laugh every day, but man, they sure do suck between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. My daughter was the original bad sleeper, not giving us a full night's rest for the first 15 months of her life and only napping in someone's arms or in the car (seriously, she didn't nap in her crib even once). These days, just a month away from her sixth birthday, we still occasionally give her sleep reward sheets in an attempt to halt her all-too-regular middle-of-the-night visits.

Since she was such a nightmare, I figured I was due for a easy sleeper with my second. Although he did start sleeping through the night at around six months and immediately took to napping in his crib, things have gone decidedly downhill since we transitioned him to a big boy bed a few weeks ago.

Last night, at 3 a.m., my husband woke me up to tell me our son was wide awake, "reading" books - and eating oranges he'd gone downstairs to fetch out of the refrigerator by himself - in bed. After 20 minutes of cajoling, he still refused to go back to sleep, and my husband needed reinforcements. By the time I got to his room a few minutes later, he'd locked us out. Ever try arguing with a 3-year-old to let you in their room at 3 a.m. while trying not to wake his sister, who's sleeping less than 10 feet away? Never will you wonder more why you decided to procreate in the first place.

My kids can definitely be categorized as bedtime fighters and up-all-nighters. Which of the seven following categories does your child fall into?

1. The Up-All-Nighter

Sleep Style: Some days you wonder if this child was born with a superpower that prevents him from actually needing sleep. He'll snooze for an hour or two at a time, but then he's back up, ready to go and expecting you to go right along with him. Newborns lead the pack in this category, but children of all ages occasionally backslide to it.

Solution: Recognize that this is a stage, your child does actually need sleep, and eventually, he'll learn to sleep for longer stretches. For now, get yourself some help and try to nap when he does.

2. The Bedtime Fighter

Sleep Style: This child is tired. You know she's tired. She knows she's tired, even if she's not admitting it. But she will not go the f*ck to sleep. When you finally convince her to get into bed, there are never enough books, stories, or lullabies to make her happy, and even when her eyes are closed and she's clearly about to drift off, she'll ask for more.

Solution: Persevere. Although your kid doesn't want to admit that she actually needs to sleep, you know she eventually will hit the hay. Set limits for the number of books/stories before bedtime begins so you're not fighting the "one more" battle.

3. The Midnight Wanderer

Sleep Style: While you're unconscious, this child is up to no good. Refrigerator-raiding, clothes-swapping, toy-playing no good. You might hear a sound and find him rummaging through the pantry at 2 a.m., or you might not hear him at all and just wonder why he's so darn grumpy the next day.

Solution: Beyond putting a lock on the outside of his door, there's not much you can do about this should-be-asleep walker besides explaining to him that he needs to stay in bed and sleep in order to stay healthy and strong and hope that it's a passing stage.

4. The Bad Dreamer

Sleep Style: Nightmares are a regular occurrence for this little one, and therefore, you also get to have one: the nightmare of being woken up every night by a terrified, clingy child who's afraid to go back to sleep.

Solution: Avoid scary videos and books before bed, and explain to your child that nightmares, though scary, are not real. Give them some coping mechanisms to calm down themselves, like deep breathing and visualizing something happy and soothing, and encourage them to use those instead of waking up the whole house.

5. The Company Seeker

Sleep Style: This kid just loves to snuggle and prefers your body as close to theirs as possible all night long. If you do concede to letting them sleep with you, it's guaranteed you'll wake up and realize they've stolen all the covers and given you less than 10 percent of the bed.

Solution: This one needs to be nipped in the bud as early as possible. Teach your child that sleeping by themselves is a learned skill that makes for better rest in terms they can understand. Provide stuffed animals or other loveys and special blankets to make them feel cozy and protected.

6. The Home-Only Snoozer

Sleep Style: He loves his bed and will sleep through the night consistently when in it, but the minute you take him to, say, visit Grandma or go on vacation, everyone's sleep is screwed. Many of these children were recently up-all-nighters who seem eager to revisit their former ways.

Solution: Try to introduce your child's new sleeping situation as early in the day as you can, so he can get used to his new surroundings. Bringing a familiar crib sheet, favorite blanket, or lovey from home also helps. Noise machines are also a great way to counteract the new and unfamiliar sounds in a new space.

7. The Perfect Sleeper

Sleep Style: She slept through the night at 5 weeks old and never looked back. You regularly wake her up because she's been dozing too long, and no matter where you are, how long her nap was, or what cold she's battling, you're confident you'll both get a full night's rest, every single night.

Solution: Count your blessings and try not to rub your perfect sleeper in other parents' tired faces.

This Movie About a Monster With a Psychic Connection to Anne Hathaway Actually Looks OK

As far as movie premises go, having a story about a past-her-prime party girl with an inexplicable psychic connection to a giant kaiju terrorizing South Korea is pretty out there. Still, after seeing the first two trailers for Colossal (which features the movie premise in question), we're kind of into it. Anne Hathaway stars as Gloria, a woman spiraling through a mental breakdown who discovers that all of her movements (especially dancing) are mirrored by the massive, Godzilla-like creature stomping its way through Seoul. There's not much else to go off of, but we presume costars Jason Sudeikis, Tim Blake Nelson, and Dan Stevens will be able to help Gloria figure it all out.

Who Killed Jason Blossom? Breaking Down Riverdale's Biggest Mystery

Riverdale is proving to be one of 2017's best new shows, and we can't stop inspecting each and every crumb the writers have dropped leading to Jason Blossom's killer. His death is the main mystery of the first season, and it's killing us (pun intended) that we haven't figured out what happened yet. It's like a big game of Clue, and every time we think we know who may have murdered the teenager, we get thrown a curveball. While we anxiously attempt to solve the puzzle, check out our top suspects.

Here's What to Expect From the Final Season of The Leftovers

There are two kinds of people in this mixed-up, TV-watching world we live in: those who powered through the first season of The Leftovers and were rewarded with an immensely nuanced second season, and those who gave up after a few episodes (or never cared in the first place). Those of us in the former group have been waiting a year to find out what happens to the Garvey family after the bonkers season two finale, and now we've finally got some answers on what to expect from the third - and final - season.

The End Is Nigh

The second-season finale would have been a perfectly acceptable ending for The Leftovers, but HBO is giving us one final season before we say goodbye for good.

There's a New Setting

Season one of The Leftovers takes place in New York, while the second season is mostly set in Texas. The third season finds the Garveys relocating again, this time to Australia, though at least some of the season will also take place in Texas.

The Cast Is Mostly Staying the Same

Despite the move overseas, the show will still feature Justin Theroux (Kevin), Carrie Coon (Nora), Amy Brenneman (Laurie), Christopher Eccleston (Matt), Janel Moloney (Mary), Margaret Qualley (Jill), Chris Zylka (Tommy), and Liv Tyler (Meg). In addition, the Murphy family, who became the Garveys' new neighbors in season two, will all return as well.

We Have a Premiere Date

The third season will premiere on HBO on April 16. Watch the show's creators Damon Lindelof and Tom Perrotta tease it below in this cheeky video:

The Teaser

It's brief, but check out that beard.

When Are the 2017 Oscars? Plus, Everything Else You Need to Know About the Show

The Oscars are the grand finale of award season, and this year, we have more to look forward to than ever. La La Land is up for an astonishing (and recording-tying) 14 awards, Viola Davis has already broken a record, and unless one of them doesn't show up for their nominated categories, ex-couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield will be in the same place at the same time. (It's exciting, OK?) If you're looking forward to the big show, take a look at all the need-to-know details below!

The Nominees

The best picture race is incredibly tight, with Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Hidden Figures, La La Land, Lion, Manchester by the Sea, and Moonlight all in the running. At least one actor from each of those movies is up for an individual nod, including Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Casey Affleck, Denzel Washington, and Viola Davis. There are also plenty of first-time nominees like Andrew Garfield, Ruth Negga, Mahershala Ali, and Dev Patel.

The Snubs

Notably missing from the list of nominees are Amy Adams (Arrival) and Tom Hanks (Sully) - both of whom ABC accidentally (and awkwardly) listed on the Oscars' website as nominees. Both Hanks and Adams received nominations from the Critics' Choice Awards, but Adams also earned them from the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes. It's not shocking that they're not included, but it is slightly surprising.

The Host

This year's ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Meanwhile, Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd are producing the show.

The Presenters

Last year's acting winners, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Mark Rylance, and Alicia Vikander, are all scheduled to be presenters. Emma Stone, David Oyelowo, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Mann, Felicity Jones, Dwayne Johnson, John Cho, Javier Bardem, Riz Ahmed, Amy Adams, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Jamie Dornan, Chris Evans, Gael García Bernal, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Dakota Johnson, Shirley MacLaine, Kate McKinnon, and Hailee Steinfeld will also present during the show.

The Performers

Justin Timberlake, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting, and John Legend will all be performing their Oscar-nominated songs during the ceremony.

I Used to Pee During Exercise, and Now I Don't! Here's Why

I've been through two pregnancies and two natural childbirths, so I was used to accidentally peeing a little while coughing or sneezing. It was actually a running joke in my house. If I sneezed and went upstairs, my kids would yell, "Hey Daddy! Mommy peed herself again!" My son even offered to let me borrow one of his pull-ups. Um, thank you? Sigh. It's one of those unexpected little joys of motherhood that no one warns you about.

And it doesn't just end with coughing on a full bladder. When I tried jumping on the trampoline with my kids at the gym and pee just fell out of me, I wasn't too psyched, but I thought, "OK, no more trampolines." It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to avoid them for the rest of my life. No problem.

The real issue started when I signed up for CrossFit. Apparently jumping rope is even worse than jumping on a trampoline, and I found out the hard way. I had to do four rounds of three exercises, one of which included 50 single unders (regular jumping rope). I didn't even jump 20 times before I felt pee leaking out of me and into my underwear. I tried doing one massive Kegel to help hold it in, but it did absolutely nothing. I couldn't just stop the workout. I had to keep going. Yeah, I'm pretty sure my entire bladder (although not quite full) emptied and dripped down my inner thighs. All I can say is I'm so glad I was wearing black leggings that day.

Well, crap! Jumping rope was pretty common in CrossFit, so what was I going to do? After that class, I went up to the coach, who thankfully was a woman, and I asked, "Do you have kids?" She replied, "Yes, why?" I whispered "Well, how do you not pee yourself while jumping rope?" She laughed and said, "If you look around the room before a workout that involves jumping rope, you'll see every single mother run to the bathroom."

OK. I could handle that. Our gym posts the workouts online the night before, so I could prepare myself. I wore black leggings, had only a few sips of water before class, and made sure to hit the restroom before the workout. That kind of worked. I peed less, so that was a good thing.

But one day after a few months of CrossFit, I was jumping rope and realized I forgot to pee beforehand. I was floored. I did not pee myself. Not one drop. So what was the cure?

I came from a running and yoga background, but with CrossFit the one thing that was new to me was lifting heavy weights. All those heavy squats and core work are what strengthened my pelvic floor, similar to how Kegels work. My legs, butt, and abs are the strongest they've ever been, and apparently so are my inner lady muscles. It's liberating! Not peeing while exercising makes me so happy, and it's a surprising little reward for all my hard work.

So bring on jumping rope, jumping jacks, and even sneezing while jumping on a trampoline! It's good incentive to keep on lifting heavy, not only to continue getting stronger but to also keep my pee where it belongs.

Is This Trick For Getting Your Toddler to Sleep on a Plane Actually Safe?

No matter how well-behaved your children may be, getting them to sit still and be quiet in a confined space for multiple hours is a big ask. So when I was prepping for a five-hour flight with my 1-year-old and 3-year-old, I desperately sought any advice I could get from other moms.

In addition to smart hacks like packing snacks in an egg carton and using Ziploc bags to contain crayons and coloring books, multiple people told me to give my youngest Benadryl to help him sleep. I'd heard this before, but I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of giving him medicine that he didn't actually need, so I ignored them and instead loaded up on extra bottles, food, and toys.

We were just over an hour into the flight when it occurred to me that I should have packed Benadryl in my bag, just in case. Two hours later, I was cursing myself for not listening to my friends and just giving him the damn medicine before we even boarded.

My son had fallen asleep easily, but when he woke up he wasn't happy about it. For over three hours, my husband and I tried everything to get our exhausted baby to fall back to sleep. Nothing worked. He alternated between muffled whines, sad sobbing, and full-out screaming until the plane landed.

As we walked out of the airport stressed and defeated, my husband and I reminded ourselves that those disastrous hours were such a tiny fraction of our vacation, we couldn't let it spoil the whole trip. And though we didn't, I couldn't stop thinking that we all (annoyed fellow passengers included) would have had a much smoother flight if we'd just taken that Benadryl advice.

But would it have even worked? And is it really safe?

"Some parents have told me that they have used it on planes, but I don't think this is an appropriate use . . . "

Although mommy forums and friends may be full of nonchalant stories about how Benadryl made their travels with young children a breeze, you'd be hard-pressed to find a doctor who will echo their advice. According to Dr. Hansa Bhargava, a WebMD medical editor and pediatrician, "In general, Benadryl or any antihistamine should be used for allergies or an allergic reaction." She added, "Some parents have told me that they have used it on planes, but I don't think this is an appropriate use for diphenhydramine."

Dr. Joel Siev, a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics at NYU Langone Medical Center, agrees. Although "fatigue or tiredness is a common side effect of Benadryl," it "should not be used in a toddler to help them sleep on an airplane." But he doesn't rule it out altogether. He says if you're going to use Benadryl to help a child sleep, you should wait until the "child is about 4-5 years of age or older."

I'd argue that by the time they're 4 years old, an iPad full of movies will be more effective than Benadryl anyway.

If you're still trying to decide whether to take a doctor's advice or defer to your seasoned mom friends on this one, you should also know that there's a chance Benadryl could actually have the opposite effect of sedation. According to Dr. Bhargava, instead of helping them doze off, the medication could make your little one hyperactive or busy.

Even with the memories of that hellish flight still fresh in my mind, that might not be a risk I'm willing to take.

Charlie Hunnam Confirms (Again) That He Doesn't Regret Quitting Fifty Shades

Charlie Hunnam opened up once again on Friday about his decision to walk away from Fifty Shades of Grey back in 2013. He was originally cast as Christian Grey (ahem, we understand why), but he ended up dropping the role, a decision he doesn't regret. As Hunnam explained during his appearance on This Morning, he put a lot of thought into that choice and feels Jamie Dornan was meant to play the part. "With work, I'm very labored and take a long time and it creates a lot of anxiety making these big decisions," he said. "But once I've made the decision, I'm very disciplined about never looking back."

This isn't the first time Hunnam has talked about dropping out of the franchise. In a 2015 interview with V Man, he called it "the worst professional experience" of his life, adding, "It was the most emotionally destructive and difficult thing that I've ever had to deal with professionally. It was heartbreaking." He explained that it had more to do with his schedule and his personal life than anything else. "There was a lot of personal stuff going on in my life that left me on real emotional shaky ground and mentally weak," he said. "I just got myself so f*cking overwhelmed and I was sort of having panic attacks about the whole thing."

So listen, if you're a diehard Hunnam fan who's still a little sad that he didn't suit up as Christian, well, here's a consolation: a supersexy, NSFW celebration of Hunnam's backside. You're welcome!

The Stars of Beauty and the Beast Talk About Bringing the Classic Disney Film to Life

Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast is almost here, and we have a feeling it's going to be pretty magical. In a new video from Entertainment Weekly, the cast talks about how they really tried to live up to the original. "When you love something that much, you really want to do it justice," the film's star Emma Watson says. Not only does the clip offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the set (the opening number looks incredible, FYI) but it also gives us a better look at our favorite characters in their human forms. Yes, that's right - we finally get to see the Beast (Dan Stevens) and the rest of the castle's staff after the curse is broken. And let's just say, Prince Adam looks fine!

Why Some Wegmans Shoppers Are Boycotting the Beloved Grocery Store

Wegmans is currently facing criticism from a faction of its shoppers due to the fact that the nation's favorite grocery store has continued to sell President Donald Trump's namesake wine. According to The Washington Post, several left-leaning groups are attempting to organize a boycott in an effort to pressure the chain to stop selling Trump Winery products.

In Charlottesville, where the wine is produced, there's even a entire political action group dedicated to taking down Trump Winery. The group is bluntly titled Stop Trump Wine. In addition, members of the National Organization for Women have spoken out against Wegmans. Approximately 300 members of the organization's Prince William County chapter plan on boycotting Wegmans until they stop selling the wine.

On the flip side, the president's supporters appear to be stocking up on the wine. The Richmond Times-Dispatch reported that the wine was completely sold out at two Wegmans locations in the area and eight other locations in Virginia are also close to completely selling out.

In an interview, the chain's vice president of media relations, Jo Natale, said they will continue to stock Trump Winery products until they have an economic reason to do otherwise. "Our role as a retailer is to offer choice to our customers," she said. Adding, "Individual shoppers who feel strongly about an issue can demonstrate their convictions by refusing to buy a product. When enough people do the same, and sales of a product drop precipitously, we stop selling that product in favor of one that's in greater demand."

Natale also noted that Wegmans began selling wine from that specific winery in 2008, before it was acquired by Trump in 2011. Shortly thereafter, Trump handed the winery off to his son, Eric.

You Can Almost Feel the Sparks Between Hilary Duff and Her New Man

Things are definitely heating up between Hilary Duff and her new boyfriend, singer Matthew Koma. The two, who were first linked back in January, jetted off to Costa Rica this week for a relaxing getaway. They were spotted showing all sorts of sexy PDA on Wednesday as they lounged on the beach and took a dip in the ocean. Matthew, who attended a SAG Awards preparty with Hilary at the end of January, gave her a sweet kiss before carrying her above the waves. Hilary also showed off her rock-hard abs in a white bikini, while Matthew wore black swimming trunks. The pair's happy vacation is a far cry from what Hilary's ex-husband, Mike Comrie, is dealing with in LA. The former NHL player, who shares son Luca with Hilary, is currently under investigation for alleged sexual battery. Hilary and Mike announced their split in January 2014 and finalized their divorce in February 2016.

5 Things That Make Moms Cool

The following is a post that was originally featured on The Chic Site and written by Rachel Hollis, who is part of Collective Moms.

Hello Ladies! There are about ten billion articles on how to be a "good mom" but at Chic Central we've been discussing the idea what makes a cool mom? Are moms cool? Of course, they are! Here are 5 things they do that make them the coolest person in the room.

Image Source: StockSnap / The Typical Female Magazine

1. She's a Boss to More than Just Her Fam

A cool mom knows that she's the boss of more than just her family. She can run a company and still make sure her children have their favorite Capri Sun flavor. If she isn't working in an office setting, she still takes care of business. She'll run that PTA meeting Beyoncé style, but with just a little less dancing.

2. Hangs With Other Grown Ups

Even though it's tempting to spend all of her time with her little ones, this lady knows that for her sanity, she needs to spend time with other adults. She has a wide array of friendships. She'll hang with other mommies, single gals, The Pope, all kinds of folks! She maintains her own interests and shows her a child that's a priority too.

3. Keeps Up with Tech Trends

Chic moms are good at texting, tweeting, snapping, twicking, ok, you got me twicking isn't real, but its sounds like it could be right!?! By keeping up with the latest advances in technology this gal is able to better understand the world her kids are growing up in. Also, Snapchat is the funniest thing ever! Wanna figure out how to work it? We've got you girl! Here's a video showing you what's up!

4. Uses as Few "Mom" Items as Possible

Her diaper bag isn't just a traditional diaper bag. Sure, it's got diapers in it, BUT also a laptop, smartphone, and some matte lipstick. Our girl reads style blogs, goes to museums, and loves fashion. Being a mom doesn't mean you lose your sense of taste. I would argue that it gives you a stronger sense of it because you know who you are. This babe looks cute in her chambray shirt even though there may be a tiny apple sauce stain on it.

5. Takes The Time To Get THEMSELVES Ready, Not Just Their Little Ones

Of course everyone's going to have a morning where you rush out of the house only to realize you're still in your PJ's. Striving to take the time to look your best so that you can feel your best is important too. Don't have the time? Don't be afraid to ask. Many hands make light work, as they say, so ask your honey, parents, neighbors, even a sitter to help a girl out! Making time to get ready for your daywill only benefit those around you.

Being who you are and also being kind to yourself is what makes you cool. Nobody expects perfection, so you do you girl!

No Matter Where She Is in the World, Michelle Obama's Shopping These Runways

No matter where she is in the world - be it vacation or promoting her latest projects - Michelle Obama will need to maintain an appropriate wardrobe. We spent eight years admiring the former FLOTUS's style, and we like to think we know her taste. Here's When You Can Finally Buy the Storybook Cosmetics Witchcraft and Wizardry Palette

Update: We finally have the release date for this long-anticipated product. The team at Storybook Cosmetics revealed that the palette will be available for a limited presale on Friday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. Central time. (Be sure to set your alarms!) Fans can expect to receive the $52 12-pan shadow set in mid-May. We're excited to finally see it in real life, as the palette will be the size of a real book and feature a custom-designed, classic leather look with gold foil.

Original story:

The creators of the coveted magic wand makeup brush collection just debuted images of a bewitching 12-piece eye shadow palette partly inspired by Harry Potter and other magic folklore. After teasing the product for over a month with the occasional swatch video, Storybook Cosmetics confirmed the palette would finally be available in the coming weeks.

The so-called Witchcraft and Wizardry Palette features the following unique shades: Sorcerer, Cloak, Bewitched, Merlin, Potions, Spell Book, Cauldron, Prophecy, Jinx, Charm, Salem, and Broomstick. This will also be the cruelty-free brand's first palette to officially go into production, meaning there could still be a future for its proposed Mean Girls-inspired palette!

While Storybook Cosmetics has yet to name an official release date, considering how quickly the magic wand brushes sold out, you might want to follow it closely on Instagram.

Before Christian Grey Met Anastasia Steele, He Posed Nude in a Car With Malin Akerman

Remember back in the day when Abercrombie & Fitch's marketing campaigns had less to do with their itty-bitty denim shorts than they did with showing off their models' best . . . um . . . assets? Malin Akerman sure does, and she was happy to discuss what it was really like to strip down for the clothing company alongside Jamie Dornan long before he was taking it off for Fifty Shades of Grey. The Billions actress sat down with Seth Meyers on Thursday, where he presented one of her Instagram photos of an old ad in which she's rocking a pair of bikini bottoms and Jamie is wearing only a farmer's tan. "I don't really know what we were selling. We got to set and after two shots, the clothes came off," she joked. "[The photographer] didn't want any clothes on us . . . needless to say, we got to know each other very well." Looks like Anastasia Steele has some competition.

Is *NSYNC Reuniting? Here's What You Need to Know

Don't freak out, but *NSYNC is reuniting in 2017. On Thursday, Lance Bass revealed to Entertainment Tonight that the group is getting together for two reasons this year, the first of which is a rerelease of their classic holiday album. "We are coming out with a really cool vinyl edition of our Christmas album," he said. "Because it's coming up on 20 years of that album." Additionally, they'll be getting together to receive a collective star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Bass confirmed that all five members (himself, Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone, and JC Chasez) will all be there, they just have to figure out a date.

No new music or Backstreet Boys-style reunion tour, but at least our boys will be in one place again!

This Wise 5-Year-Old Is the Feminist Hero We Should All Aspire to Be

At just 5 years old, Eva is already excited to exercise her right to vote. A star on The Secret Life of 5-Year-Olds, Eva has won over the hearts of internet users everywhere for sharing her feminist words of wisdom. In the clip above, she teaches her fellow 5-year-old, Jude, the ins and outs of karate and explains how the martial art is intended for both genders, not just for boys.

When Jude says girls shouldn't be scientists because "they make silly potions," Eva snaps back with a witty response, saying, "I extracted DNA from a banana once." But that's not even the best part, as she wraps up the video with a succinct yet accurate reminder. "Boys aren't better than girls," Eva said. "They're exactly the same."

Watch the video above to see what Eva has to say about gender equality.

Prince Harry Looks Scrum(ptious) While Attending a Rugby Training Session in London

Prince Harry may be royalty and all, but that doesn't mean he's only into high tea and polo. The handsome royal stepped out on Friday when he attended an open training session with the English rugby squad in London. Harry, who had a romantic date night with girlfriend Meghan Markle earlier this month, looked very cute in a suit jacket and jeans as he chatted (and made some funny faces) with a few players and coaches. His solo outing also comes less than two weeks after he showed off his fiercely competitive side while participating in a charity race with Kate Middleton and Prince William. We really do get more and more jealous of Meghan with every new Harry outing.

This Vintage Top Is About to Replace Your Basic White T-Shirt

One thing we can't deny is the rise of Gucci. Right now, it seems like every girl is coveting one of the brand's ubiquitous items, be it the fur-lined loafers, a logo belt, or an embellished bag. But don't knock the Trophy tee, a design that hails from Alessandro Michele's latest Cruise collection.

While it was amped up on the runway with a floral pleated skirt, ornate head wrap, and British flag platforms, bloggers and influencers are taking the piece - which retails online for $590 - onto the street. The shirt is most typically paired with a leather miniskirt to achieve '80s flair, but it's proving to be so classic that ladies are 'gramming it time and time again, showing off a wide range of outfits.

If we didn't know any better, we'd say the Gucci top's about to replace your standard white tee, so you best get your hands on it. Scroll to get inspired before you shop the exact style or similar but more affordable options we found online.

This Teen's Senior Picture Looks Completely Normal - Until You Take a Closer Look

Senior pictures, a unique and personalized tradition for many high school students, have plenty of common themes. A fairly popular theme usually involves an edgy urban setting featuring a lot of graffiti. One senior, however, recently realized how posing in front of graffiti could backfire.

Upon reviewing her senior pictures, Alexis Boatfield noticed something she hadn't before: a cartoonish graffiti penis drawn right above her head. On Twitter, Alexis Boatfield wrote, "Oh so no one was gonna tell me there was a big ass penis behind my head for my senior pictures?"

Following her hilarious realization, countless others shared their insanely similar experiences. For example, someone noticed a sticker with the word "porno" on it lurking in the background of her senior picture. Someone else accidentally placed her hand on a graffiti penis while just trying to casually pose. Other pictures, like the one shown below, were more tragic.

Thankfully, one helpful Twitter user fixed the picture with a little Photoshop. At least she'll always have the original whenever she's in need of a good laugh.

B.C. signing health-care deal with federal government, including money for opioid crisis

British Columbia is signing on to the health-care deal with the federal government, CBC News has learned. The deal to be announced today will give B.C. its share of new funding for home care and mental health, as well as money to deal with the opioid crisis.

These New Star Wars Posters Just Revealed Something MAJOR About The Last Jedi

When the title of Star Wars: Episode VIII was revealed to be The Last Jedi in January, we were so consumed with figuring out who this mysterious Jedi is that many of us didn't stop and consider the obvious: Jedi can be plural. Disney has started releasing title treatments for the upcoming film in other languages, and we can now clearly see that in this case, The Last Jedi refers to multiple people. It could be two, it could be thousands. Take a look at two of the latest posters:

In French:

Yeah. So . . . any guesses?

The Models at Alexander Wang’s NYFW Show Looked Like "Nocturnal Party Girls"

For the past several seasons, Alexander Wang has kept his models' hair and makeup pretty minimal, and his New York Fashion Week Fall 2017 collection was no exception. For this runway, he channeled the "nocturnal party girl," but unlike the go-to 3 a.m. chick that wears thick layers of smudgy eyeliner or smeared statement lips, Wang relied on confident, understated minimalism.

Each model's overall look was slightly different, and hair and makeup artists played into their features and personality. Alex "wanted the girls to have their own individual feel," says Diane Kendal, lead makeup artist for the show. Some models wore NARS Minorque Kohliner ($26, NARS Cosmetics) - a midnight black eyeliner - "very close to the lashes on the top and bottom waterline, then slightly smudged out with a clean brush." Others only had mascara on their eyes. For everyone, brows were kept natural, and Rosebud Salve was dabbed onto the lips.

To embrace natural skin texture, models forewent foundation and instead prepped skin with NARSskin Luminous Moisture Cream ($64) and NARSskin Total Replenishing Eye Cream ($58).

As for hair, some models sported shaggy curls with fringe falling into their eyes, some wore it swept up, some had tousled, quasi-structured bobs, and some had that effortless slept in, partied in thing going (which requires more manufacturing than you'd expect) via Redken Wax Blast ($19).

"This show is all about personality," says Guido Palau, global creative director for Redken. "Alex casts these different girls for all their individualities and all their different kinds of beauty. We've got sexy girls and tough girls and girls celebrating all their natural texture."

We argue that you don't have to wait for the clock to strike midnight to wear this nocturnal afterparty look. It's confident, it's sexy, and it says, "I'm not afraid to express myself" - and that's something you can wear any time of the day.

This Is Already Turning Out to Be Selena Gomez's Sexiest Year Yet

Selena Gomez is back from her 2016 hiatus with a vengeance. Not only is the singer working on a new album (and collaborations with Paulina Rubio and Kygo), she also teased a Wizards of Waverly Place reunion, made out with new boyfriend The Weeknd in the streets of Los Angeles, and posed for a now-deleted topless and thong-clad photo - wow, right?

If all of that is any indication, Selena will surely have her hottest year ever. We predict she'll show off an even more revealing sense of style, give us more sultry Instagram selfies and magazine spreads, and probably come out with the most sensual album cover she's yet to give us. Scroll ahead for her sexiest moments so far.

DWTS's Peta Murgatroyd Admits Feeling "Disappointed" Over Her Postpartum Body

Professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd has been making headlines since she posted an honest postpartum photo to Instagram eight days after having her son, Shai, back in January. In an interview with Good Morning America in February - Shai's onscreen debut - Murgatroyd went further to say that she was disappointed that she left the hospital looking five months pregnant despite having her baby.

"I left the hospital literally looking five months pregnant," she said. "At first I was like, 'Oh wow.' I was a little disappointed, but I realized I just did the most beautiful thing that a woman can produce and do in life. I need to just suck it up, move on, and not worry about the little things."

Every mother has a unique experience with her postpartum body and approaches her subsequent feelings over the way she looks differently, but I think most of us can agree with Peta's sentiment to try not to worry about the little things, just your little one.

Michelle Obama Just Got Officially Sworn In - by J.Crew

Michelle Obama left the White House, and so many of us felt unprepared. Especially the fashion crowd - American designers who have gained recognition and respect thanks to their relationship with her. Michelle has always kept fashion at the forefront, taking her outfit into consideration as she plans each of her appearances. When it comes to debuting a new look, Michelle makes sure there's a message behind her style choice, a strong tie to location or culture, and an acknowledgment of talent.

WWD invited American designers to write letters to Michelle, thanking her for the opportunities she's given them and the way she has inspired them during the past eight years. We couldn't help but call out one in particular. Jenna Lyons of J.Crew mastered the task, choosing to list off Michelle's greatest attributes, all of which she embodied every time she wore the brand. Scroll to read the note for yourself, then reminisce about Michelle's most iconic moments in J.Crew, when it became clear she knows exactly how to mix preppy pieces with spunky ones, always keeping sophistication in mind.

2017 Is Off to a Great Start For These Engaged Celebrity Couples

Now that Steven Yeun and Joana Pak have tied the knot, the world is waiting with bated breath for another celebrity wedding. Will Serena Williams be making the trek down the aisle soon, or will it be Sam Hunt? Perhaps it might even be Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons. Regardless of who it is, it's refreshing to see stars take the next step in their relationships given all the celebrity breakups we had last year.

Kendall and Kylie Jenner Both Rocked Bobs - but Only 1 Lasted the Next Day

Kylie Jenner is no stranger to switching up her hairstyle. Whether it's her most recent navy blue wig or any other of her strikingly bright colored 'dos, we're always amazed by her creativity. But big sister Kendall Jenner has stuck with her medium-length brunette look for as long as we can remember. This is why we were so surprised when the Jenner sisters stepped out during New York Fashion Week, both sporting new looks.

On Saturday, Feb. 11, Kylie sat front row at Alexander Wang's show with a dramatic shoulder-length bob. The wet hair trend has been around for the last few years, but Kylie's shaggy bangs take the look to a whole new level. The lip kit connoisseur cut her real hair (re: not a wig) last month. But it appears Kylie's shaggy bang style was only temporary, as her long, sleek extensions were back in action the next day.

As for Kendall, her dramatic hair change is here to stay. Two days before Kylie rocked her shaggy style at the Wang show, Kendall had us turning into the heart-eyed emoji when she took the runway for the La Perla lingerie show with a supershort bob. It's the shortest we've ever seen the supermodel's hair in a while, and it's absolutely stunning, framing her beautiful facial features perfectly. See her new look below.

The Most Empowering Photo Inside SI's Swimsuit Edition Features a Model With Stretch Marks

Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition is famous for its notoriously sexy bikini shots. The models always look happy, bronzed, and toned while on a beach surrounded by crystal-clear waters. It's a dreamy and aspirational scene for sure - almost surreal.

This year, however, the magazine answered the call to represent more realistic standards of beauty by running ads that speak to women of all sizes. Ashley Graham starred in a Swimsuits For All ad, where she posed alongside women who weren't your traditional models, and retailer Lane Bryant sent a similar message, too. The company's campaign featured plus-size model Denise Bidot in a two-piece swimsuit with her stretch marks front and center. The tag lines, "My Confidence," and "Inspired by #ThisBody," ran across the page. The ad, one you don't often see in SI, is a powerful reminder to embrace the body you have. Your blemishes, skin tones, and size should be celebrated.

"It's amazing to be a part of the change that's helping women see once and for all that nobody is perfect," said Denise. "We can still be beautiful in spite of our imperfections. It's time we celebrate each other and learn to love the skin we are in."

The Lane Bryant advertisement was left unretouched to make the message of self-acceptance even clearer. No matter your shape, we can all agree that this body-positive image is exactly what we need to see in magazines and the media. It was another small step closer to embracing a more diverse and inclusive fashion industry. We hope these ads are a launchpad to bigger editorials that will feature women who reflect those we see IRL.

There's Only 1 Word to Describe Camila Cabello's New Song: Incredible

As Fifth Harmony continues their journey as a group without Camila Cabello, the singer is making her own moves and working on music as a solo artist. After a a snippet of her new song with Cashmere Cat, titled "Love Incredible," was leaked online in January, the producer has released it in its entirety - and it's damn good.

According to Billboard, the new song will be part of Cashmere Cat's new album, and as with all of his previous pop hits, this one is going to be at the top of our playlists. The drum-heavy track is perfectly juxtaposed by Camila's dreamy vocals. Listen to it above.

Kat Von D Is About to Release Metallic Blue Lipstick and We're Freaking Out

The Front Row at NYFW Looked So Good This Season, We Need Another Moment to Appreciate

The runway is the natural place to look when you're at a show, but we would be lying if we said our eyes didn't drift over to the front row. That's where you'll spot actresses, models, and bloggers mingling and giving interviews. Perhaps they're even hoping to find their next big red carpet look. Getting a glimpse of the stars and what they're wearing is almost as exciting as being at the show. Though New York Fashion Week has ended, reminisce about all the stylish looks you spotted. Then stay tuned for who will pop up front row in Paris.

Get Your First Look at Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd's Adorable Son!

Is it at all surprising that a couple as cute as Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd would make a baby that looks equally adorable? No. Are we gushing over him anyway? Absolutely. The Dancing With the Stars alums welcomed their first child, Shai Aleksander, in January, and on Friday they finally debuted him to their fans during a Good Morning America segment. Peta and Maksim - who got engaged in December 2015 - joked about who he looks like more (his mom!) and that Maksim has already seen enough dirty diapers to last him a lifetime. Since his birth, proud dad Maksim revealed Shai has made him "the happiest person that's ever lived," and once you see the video above, you'll know why.

Watch 2 Babies Completely Lose Their Sh*t While "Chatting" on FaceTime

Although we can't understand our babies until they start speaking real words, it seems as though all little babes can communicate with each other just fine through their babbles. A viral video featuring two babies "chatting" over FaceTime has made its rounds on the internet, and for good reason - these kiddos completely lose their sh*t over the experience of talking to each other through a screen.

Ellen DeGeneres saw the clip, and because everything she touches turns to gold, she managed to make the hilarious video even funnier by adding subtitles to the babies' incoherent chatter. If you love watching cute babies doing equally cute things (or enjoy any type of shade thrown at The Bachelor - you'll get it when you watch, we swear), then this video is going to make your day.

Ed Sheeran's New Song, "How Would You Feel," Will Break Your Heart Right in 2

Ed Sheeran's upcoming album, ÷ (pronounced "Divide"), is shaping up to be his best yet. After releasing the first two singles ("Castle on the Hill" and "Shape of You"), he's followed them up with a gorgeous new track in honor of his 26th birthday. "How Would You Feel (Paean)" has a more low-key, romantic vibe than the other songs, and although he's released a studio version of the song, we almost prefer the lovely live acoustic video (same goes for "Shape of You"!). Listen to it above before his album drops on March 3.

Emma Watson Has Never Worn a Princess Gown as Special as This One

It's not uncommon for stars to start plucking dresses from the runway as soon as they're debuted. But there has been no collection so exciting to choose from as Dior's Spring 2017 line. Jennifer Lawrence and Bella Hadid have already selected more than one look from designer Maria Grazia Chiuri's first show for the fashion house. Perhaps it's because these stylish, sensible celebrities like what the clothes stand for: a marriage of feminist phrases on graphic tees with pretty tulle skirts. Every outfit proved that a lady can look girlie, but be strong as hell in her ways.

In 2016 alone, 17 of these Dior ensembles have been shown off twice - once on the catwalk, and later on the red carpet. Though some have seen minor tweaks in colorway, straps, or embroidery patterns, and others were custom creations with brand new additions (see Emma Watson and Sienna Miller), these designs are clearly causing a craze. Don't be surprised when these Dior dresses are all over the place, from movie premieres to award season red carpets. Scroll to see them all.

Jennifer Garner Is All Smiles After Reportedly Filing For Divorce From Ben Affleck

Nearly two years after Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck initially announced their split, the Nine Lives actress is reportedly officially filing for divorce. Although the news is certainly a downer, Jennifer was all smiles during an afternoon out in LA on Thursday. She was photographed leaving a nail salon and appeared to be in good spirits as she made her way to the car in flip-flops. Despite making their breakup permanent, Jen has repeatedly insisted that she and Ben, whom she was married to for 10 years, "are great friends," and that they're dedicated to making their "modern family" work. Judging from all of their friendly outings together post-breakup, they're doing just fine.
