You'll Want to Write a Song About How Cute Maren Morris and Her Boyfriend Are
According to Maren Morris, "girls don't cry," but we almost did after looking at some ridiculously cute photos of her and boyfriend Ryan Hurd. As if burning up the charts and slaying a performance at the Grammys weren't amazing enough, country music's next big thing also has a habit of letting her Instagram followers in on her sweet relationship with Ryan, who happens to be a fellow country singer. They first met during a songwriting session in 2013, where they ended up collaborating on what would eventually be Tim McGraw's hit song "Last Turn Home." Three years later, they made their red carpet debut at the CMT Music Awards, and it's clearly been a selfie-filled country music fairy tale ever since.

Stranger Things' Natalia Dyer Will Be a Fashion It Girl Before Season 2 Debuts

At first it was just her screen presence that captured us, but when she made an appearance at the SAG Awards in a custom Miu Miu gown (that was quite honestly one of our favorite looks of the night), we thought way beyond Netflix.

Why a Stranger at a Grocery Store Is 1 Mom's Hero For "Taking" Her Baby
So today my mum, son and I were in your Uddingston Foodhall branch and as I'm sure you can see from the video we received excellent service!
While going round, my son started to get a bit restless as let's be honest, what baby likes shopping? This man took the time with him to talk away so we could manage to get some shopping done. When we reached the checkout, my son was thrilled to see his new friend by screaming "hiya hiya" to him! He spoke away to him and then took him behind the till to "let him help". He smiled and squealed the full way through it because he was having so much fun! This man made my shopping experience so much easier and the fact he took time with my son as well was great. Unfortunately I never got his name so hopefully you can pass this onto him and tell him how grateful we were!
Posted by Lauren Walker on Saturday, February 18, 2017
While grocery shopping with her mom and baby boy, Lauren Walker wasn't surprised that her little one had started to get a bit "restless" during the trip. However, what did shock this new mom was how a stranger at the grocery store reacted to her child on the verge of a meltdown.
An employee at a Marks & Spencer in Scotland approached Lauren and her mom in the aisle. "This man took the time with him to talk away so we could manage to get some shopping done," the mom wrote on Facebook.
However, the young man's kindness didn't stop there. When Lauren, her mom, and her baby approached the checkout line, her little boy immediately squealed in delight at seeing his new friend again. The employee's response was equally adorable - he took the baby from his mom's arms and held him behind the cash register to let him "help" as he rang up their items. "[My baby] smiled and squealed the full way through it because he was having so much fun!" she wrote on the store's Facebook page. "This man made my shopping experience so much easier and the fact he took time with my son as well was great."
Although Lauren never got the man's name, she hopes her message of gratitude reaches him as soon as possible!
The Han Solo Spinoff Movie Has a Stellar Cast
It's been over a year since a Han Solo spinoff film was announced, and things are finally heating up. The latest addition to the Star Wars universe will be the second stand-alone film in the franchise, meaning it exists outside of the Luke Skywalker saga (Episode I through Episode IX). The first "rogue" film of this kind, of course, was Rogue One, which chronicled the rebel seizure of the Death Star plans and hit theaters this past December. As is pretty customary, we haven't gotten may details about the new Han Solo film; we don't even have a title yet! What we have received, though, is a handful of casting announcements that are giving us a better idea of what we're in for.

The New Meme That Will Literally Leave You Asking the Question "What in Tarnation?"
What started as a simple post on Tumblr is now a glorious meme on the rise. In 2016, a Tumblr user made a joke about the Farmers Only dating app and used the colloquial phrase, "What in tarnation?" Then, in early January, another Tumblr user shared a meme of a dog wearing a cowboy hat with the same caption. Understandably, people found it to be pretty funny and the post ended up getting thousands of shares.
Now, people have applied the same caption to anything vaguely country or cowboy hat related. While the meme is especially effective when it involves household pets - as most memes are - it's since been taken to ridiculous lengths. Check out some examples ahead to find out what in tarnation we're talking about.
Instead of Cake Smashes, 2 Little Ones Chowed Down on Doughnuts in Adorable Photoshoots
As a weirdo who doesn't particularly like sweets, it's definitely odd that no matter what, I can't pass up a doughnut (especially strawberry frosted with sprinkles). Apparently neither can these two little ones, Dallas and Iris, who both had "doughnut smash" photoshoots for their first birthdays instead of the traditional cake smash. Lyndsey Wright, photographer at Lyndsey's PhotoCo, captured both frosting-filled sessions, and they're too cute for words.
Both Iris and Dallas are the children of Lyndsey's closest friends, so both sets of parents trusted her judgment when she suggested that doughnuts would be so much cuter to smash than cake. After Dallas's chocolate doughnut smash in December of 2015, Iris's mom brought her into Lyndsey's studio for a strawberry doughnut smash the following January. "Amanda walked in with the pink doughnuts and the gold banner and I about died!" Lyndsey told POPSUGAR Moms.
Lyndsey is no stranger to smash photoshoots involving foods aside from cake. Recently, her idea to do a "taco smash" came to fruition, and the photographer hopes that more exciting shoots will be in her future. "Iris is about to be a big sister," she said. "So hopefully we can think of something equally as adorable for her baby brother's one year session!"

Parents Be Warned: Investigators Find That Kids Are Sleeping Through Fire Alarms
In 2012, first responders were left devastated after finding six kids dead as a result of a house fire. But even more alarming to forensic scientists and fire experts was that these kids were still tucked in bed - they had never moved. Although toxicology reports showed that none of the kids were incapacitated and that working fire alarms were in place, it appeared that none of the six kids were alerted to the danger.
Dave Coss, watch manager at Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service in the UK, explained that if the kids had awoken instead of presumably sleeping through the alarms, they may not have been tragically killed that evening. Since then, investigators with the company have conducted 204 tests on 34 children to see if there is a difference in response between kids and adults to fire alarms. According to the Huffington Post UK, 27 of these kids repeatedly slept through the smoke detector alarms. Of the 20 girls and 14 boys studied, just seven of the girls woke up at least once, while none of the boys were disturbed.
In 2006, the National Fire Protection and Research Foundation (NFPA) studied the effectiveness of alarms for emergency notification of high-risk groups (children, the elderly, and those with hearing impairments) to see if alarm systems met their needs and if high-pitched systems could effectively wake them. They found that "square wave sound with a fundamental frequency in the lower ranges (i.e. 520 Hz) to be more effective than the current high pitched smoke alarm signal across a range of populations (children, older adults, sober young adults, alcohol impaired young adults, and adults with hearing impairments)."
So what does that mean? Based on these results, in 2014, the NFPA updated their provisions to require newly constructed and some renovated commercial sleeping areas to have low-frequency 520 Hz signal alarms. This is a great start, but doesn't protect most children sleeping in their homes.
Even if your children don't have hearing impairments, they could still be at risk of sleeping through high-frequency alarms. There's a difference between being able to hear an alarm and being awoken from a deep sleep by one. Parents should check the frequency of their alarm (you're looking for the Hz number, which should be written on the fire alarm itself), test it out at night with their family, and consider ordering a low-frequency alarm to be extra safe.
Is This Walking Dead Shirt Racist? Jeffrey Dean Morgan Doesn't Think So
Say "Eeny Meeny Miny Moe" to any fan of The Walking Dead and watch them squirm uncomfortably. It's the phrase Negan utters before - spoiler alert - heinously murdering Abe and Glenn on the TV show. Up until this week, the UK chain Primark stocked a t-shirt emblazoned with the words and Negan's bat, Lucille, on the front. It's a clear reference to the series, but some shoppers were incensed by the racist undertones. While American kids know the second verse of the rhyme to go, "Catch a tiger by the toe," it was at one point, "Catch a n***** by the toe."
Primark has had to pull this Tshirt from its stores cos it was deemed offensive and Racist..
Hmmmmm I don't see it.. 🤔 http://pic.twitter.com/N6Nx29WDLS- Wale Gates 🇳🇬🇬🇧 (@walegates) February 21, 2017
While there wasn't an outcry of racism when the issue of the Walking Dead comic was first published or when the episode aired, taken out of context, the phrase (along with the barbed-wire bat) could easily be misunderstood. Primark has since removed the shirts from its stores, but the controversy has grown so big that Negan himself, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, has commented on it. Tweeting out an article about it, Morgan wrote, "Holy crap people are stupid."
What do you think - is the shirt tone-deaf, or is the scandal unwarranted?

Breathtaking Photos of a Baby Delivered by His Dad in the Front Seat of a Car
Every birth story is a special one, but for one newborn baby boy, the recount of how his dad delivered him in the front seat of a car is going to be a unique party story for years and years to come. He'll also have a photo to share with it, a snap posted to Facebook by Jaiden Photography that pictures him laying on his mom's belly while dad appears shocked at what had just transpired.
"At 12:21 a.m. an AMAZING mother and INCREDIBLE father delivered their precious baby in the front seat of their car!" says the caption on the beautiful photo. "I am still in awe of their strength; their sweet baby could not wait another minute to come into this world and his father delivered him within minutes of putting his car in park. No words can describe how amazing it was to watch this miracle . . . what a wild night it was."
In a second snap posted shortly after the first, the photographer marveled at how relaxed the baby boy was after the craziness of his delivery. "Such a powerful image to me, the baby was so CALM laying next to the mother, so content. In the wildness of all that happened this was such a quiet moment in the car, so peaceful. I will say it over and over, what an amazing couple and incredibly strong mama!"

Add virtual reality games to the mix and it becomes a whole other struggle since you can't even distract them anymore! Natalie Tran, a YouTube creator, understands the struggle - and hilariously made a video of what it's like to date someone who loves virtual reality too much.
In the video above, Tran plays songs like "Someone Like You" by Adele and "S Club Party" by S Club 7 and performs them for her partner. The guy can't see what's happening since he's playing a virtual reality game and totally misses Tran's epic dance moves. We've all been there, and the video appears to have hit home for a lot of people, as it's going viral on Reddit. Watch the video and try this the next time your significant other is totally ignoring you in favor of playing some games.
9 Super Simple Ways to Organize Your Breast Milk Stash
It starts out innocently enough. A few small bags of proudly pumped milk fit effortlessly into your freezer and refrigerator. But once you get the hang of things, it can get messy. Frozen foods face freezer elimination because you're desperate for space for your ever-growing breast milk supply. Pumping mamas can create a serious stash of milk, but their new-baby brain doesn't always have the capacity to come up with a logical organization strategy for such large quantities of breast milk. Me, I just piled mine up in the freezer, and it was a nightmare every time someone (me) went in for another scoop of Ben & Jerry's.
Luckily, these Instagram moms have used some super simple yet really great ideas for organizing all that liquid gold.
Nick Cannon Just Shared a First Photo of His Newborn Son, Golden "Sagon"
Proud dad, Nick Cannon, took to Instagram on Feb. 22, 2017 to announce the birth of his son, Golden "Sagon" Cannon, born a day earlier. "Welcome to Earth Son!" Cannon wrote in the caption of the sweet black-and-white snap.
Although many new celebrity parents are now opting for low-key social media introductions, for a long time running it seemed People had a monopoly on introductory celebrity baby photos. Nicole Richie, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, and the Jolie-Pitts all turned to the well-established magazine to show off their newest family members. However, today, many celebs are turning to competitors who are doling out generous offerings to new parents. Others like Kim Kardashian are releasing their own photos - either on their own or through photo agencies - to bypass the whole magazine scenario.

All We Can Talk About Is Emma Stone's "Feather Duster" Belt
Emma Stone recently celebrated her ubiquitous film La La Land at an intimate dinner hosted by Vanity Fair and Barneys in Los Angeles. Staying true to her feminine style, the actress wore floral separates from Giambattista Valli and a diamond ear cuff from Repossi. But what we really need to talk about is that furry belt.
The entire ensemble - belt included - was plucked straight from Giambattista Valli's fantastical Spring 2017 Couture collection. The crystal accessory appears to be attached to the skirt and features two feathery pom-poms at the bottom. Respectfully speaking, they actually kind of look like ridiculously chic feather dusters. Scroll on for a closer look at the bold accessory.
Nobody Puts This Dirty Dancing Eye Shadow Palette in the Corner
"You wanna hear somethin' crazy?" Patrick Swayze asked in the 1987 hit Dirty Dancing referring to a dream he had. Thirty years later, this "somethin' crazy" we're talking about is a Dirty Dancing-themed eye shadow palette. A few months ago, indie beauty brand Sola Look teased the possibility of a makeup collection honoring the 30-year anniversary of the movie, and now, we're finding out that this will soon be a reality.
Sola Look recently took to Instagram to let fans know that this palette will be straight out of our '80s dreams. The brand teased a photo of what looks like the cover of the palette adorned with Patrick and Jennifer Grey's legendary "Time of Your Life" dance scene inside a box resembling the original VHS cover. There's even an "I Carried a Watermelon" shade!
Although the palette isn't available for purchase yet, Sola Look explained that Dirty Dancing-lovers can sign up on the brand's official website to receive updates about the palette. Let's just say we're hoping there will be a Baby shade far, far away from the corners.

What 1 Mom Wants Every Parent to Learn From Her Final Moments With Her Child
Although Sharon Carver's 6-year-old child, Marc "MJ" Poole had otherwise been healthy, a meningitis infection quickly overtook his body. Just two days after developing symptoms, her son passed away.
In the final hours of his life, someone snapped a heartbreaking image of the mom from England cradling her little boy before he died. As Sharon and her husband, Marc, cope with their grief, they are sharing this photo as an important warning to parents about what meningitis can do and how quickly it can kill a child.
Sharon wants others to recognize that although meningitis might not immediately come to mind when a child starts vomiting or experiencing a rash, lethargy, or a fever, these can all be signs of the devastating infection. "I don't want any parent to go through what me and Marc went through - I cannot describe the feeling of losing a child," Sharon told the DailyMail. "You watch TV, films, and read these things about other people - it's frightening how quick this horrible condition can take hold."
Sharon described her child as perfectly healthy and happy before he complained of a headache. She gave him over-the-counter medicine but MJ's condition quickly worsened and within days he died at the hospital. According to the coroner, the infection caused MJ's body to go into septic shock and the child died from organ failure.
Since then, Sharon has been advocating for sepsis and meningitis awareness. She now knows the importance of early detection of meningitis and is urging others to learn about the infection so as not to hopefully never endure a similar hardship.
Here are the common symptoms of meningitis and/or septicaemia in babies, toddlers, and young adults that parents should be aware of:
- A high fever (but can run normal to low in babies under three months)
- Vomiting or refusing to eat
- Severe headache
- A tense or bulging soft spot (babies)
- Cold hands and feet
- A dislike of being picked up (babies)
- A sleepy or vacant expression or too sleepy to wake up
- Rapid breathing or trouble breathing
- Shivering
- 'Pink prick' rash marks or purple bruises
- An unusual grunting noise
- Pale or blotchy skin
- A stiff or floppy body (babies)
- Limb or joint pain
Important Question: Will Eva Mendes Attend the Oscars With Ryan Gosling?
Ryan Gosling has been a very handsome, very welcome award season presence this year thanks to his beautiful performance in La La Land. While we've seen a ton of him on the red carpet with his costar Emma Stone, there's one person in his life that we've seen literally zero of these past few months: his partner, Eva Mendes. Ryan and Eva began dating in 2011 and have two daughters together, Esmeralda and Amada. And though Ryan did open up about Eva and her late brother, Juan Carlo, in his Golden Globes speech, Eva has yet to be his date to any award season events. Now that Ryan is nominated for (and has a pretty good chance at winning) an Oscar, we have to wonder if a best actor nod is enough to get Eva on the red carpet.
The notoriously private couple hasn't done a red carpet together since the screening of The Place Beyond the Pines at the Toronto Film Festival in 2012 - they were technically together but also both starred in the film, so they didn't attend as dates as much as costars. Will Eva step out for the Academy Awards? Only time will tell, but we're pretty convinced that she will. Ryan has been nominated for an Oscar one other time, for his role in Half Nelson back in 2007, but they weren't a couple yet. With a year full of professional and personal success for Ryan, wouldn't it be the ultimate act of love and support for Eva to accompany him on his big night this time around?

MAC's Basic B*tch Palette Is the Pettiest Beauty Launch of 2017
Backstage at Fashion Week is a magical - albeit frenzied - place. Not only do you get to see stylists and makeup artists showcase their talents on some of the most beautiful women in the world, but you get a sneak peek at new products that won't hit shelves for months. The pros of MAC Cosmetics have been flaunting upcoming launches from New York to Milan (remember that pizza cutter eyeliner?) but a preview of a palette has us especially excited.
Behind the scenes during Milan Fashion Week, MAC senior artist Netta Szekely and national artist Angelo Rauseo took to their Instagram accounts to tease the pettily-titled "Basic B*tch" palette, which is said to feature all new shades and textures. The long, rectangular compact holds nine pans (one of which is extralarge and could possibly be a highlighter) of pigment with hilarious names, including Gameplayer, Hell in Heels, Me Me Me, and Text Me Later. The cool-toned shades range from a sparkling pewter to burgundy.
We have reached out to MAC Cosmetics for more information on this palette, but based on the delectable colors inside, we'd guess that it will launch in time for Fall. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
Kelly Ripa Accidentally Let Her 13-Year-Old Son Bring a Book About a Stripper Pole to School
Kelly Ripa had a major bone to pick with Stephen Colbert when she stopped by The Late Show on Wednesday. During the show, the mother of three explained to the host that his book, I Am A Pole (And So Can You!), actually ended up getting her 13-year-old son, Joaquin, in trouble when he brought it to school to be read aloud by his teacher. The book, which is about a pole trying to find its purpose, actually features a scene at a strip club. Not only did the teacher quickly send it back with her son, but Kelly even got a personal note about how inappropriate it was. Watch her recount the hilarious moment above.
This Hijab-Wearing Model Just Popped Up on the Runway at Milan Fashion Week
Last year, Halima Aden's name started trending because she wore a burkini (a modest swimsuit) in the Miss Minnesota USA pageant. Fast-forward to 2017 and Halima, a first-generation Somali-American, not only signed with IMG Models - the same agency that represents Gigi and Bella Hadid - but also landed a photo shoot for CR Fashion Book, run by renowned stylist Carine Roitfeld, and made her runway debut in Kanye West's Yeezy Season 5 show. The model then flew to Milan to walk the runways of Alberta Ferretti and Max Mara.
"Halima is breaking boundaries of beauty and perception by being herself," said Carine, who revealed the 19-year-old caught her eye. "I find this incredibly inspiring, and I know she will be an icon."
The 10th edition of the book will be out on March 2, and Halima graces one of the two covers in her hijab. When asked about her being called a hero, Halima said:
"I wish I could tell them, 'Hey, I'm not a perfect Muslim.' A lot of people had a misconception that I would be the perfect poster child for Islam. So I got a lot of Instagram comments like, 'Oh, you don't have your neck covered, you're not a Muslim!' My thing is, stop judging women, especially if you're a man, because you don't know the responsibility that comes with wearing a hijab."
Keep your eyes on on Halima, because this future top model is just getting started.
Toddler Takes Recipe Measurements WAY Too Literally in This Adorable Video
Besides simple things like grilled cheese, scrambled eggs, and well, cereal, cooking can be super hard and very easy to screw up. For one toddler trying her hand at making oatmeal, the part that tripped her up was the use of the term "cup," which she hysterically and adorably took literally. As Ellie pours oatmeal into a measuring cup with her older brother by her side, mom says from behind the camera, "OK, we need one more cup." Confused, the little lady steps off her stool, walks over to a cabinet, and retrieves a plastic drinking cup.
Rather than help her out by adding the word "oatmeal" and explaining to her what the recipe means when it says "a cup," Ellie's mom and brother let the charade go on a bit longer, even egging her on a bit. We're not complaining though; the entire thing is absolutely hilarious.

Ryan Murphy's Next Season of Feud Should Be About Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel
Hollywood is full of bitter celebrity feuds (to the point where Ryan Murphy has even made a show about them), but few are as hilarious as the one between Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel. The late-night host, who's gearing up to host the Oscars, sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on Thursday to discuss their rivalry. Matt recently appeared on Ellen's show to talk smack about Jimmy's hosting duties, which she told Jimmy about. "That's tough talk from a guy wearing 11 bracelets, I think," he joked, before poking fun at Matt's current Oscar nomination for producing Manchester by the Sea. "He can do whatever he wants, obviously it's a free country, but one thing I know Matt Damon won't be throwing at me is an Oscar, because he's not gonna win." Here's hoping one of Matt's bracelets repels sick burns.
Toddler Hilariously Scolds Her Dad After He Leaves the Toilet Seat Up Again
"How many times do I have to tell you - when you put the [toilet] seat up . . . to put it down for me?!"
If you're a woman who's ever lived with a man, you've probably asked this question in some variation what feels like hundreds of times. Although Bradlee Rae Hayes is just a toddler, she's already realized the frustrating struggles that come with the toilet seat being left up. The adorable toddler hits her dad, Jeremiah, with the hard facts: "I don't want to [put it down], I just want you to do it. Listen to me - when you're done with the potty . . . you need to put [the seat] down for the girls."
Can we get a slow clap for Bradlee?
Katy Perry's Brit Awards Performance Brought Down the House - Literally
I'm crying the House fell off the stage 😂 🏠 #BRITs2017 #KatyPerryBRITS http://pic.twitter.com/LlknbQIbsi

Katy Perry performed her hit single "Chained the Rhythm" at the Brit Awards on Wednesday, but it's not her political messages that have people talking. Instead of dancing around a white picket fence like she did at the Grammys, the singer actually had her backup dancers dress up like white houses. However, things quickly took a wrong turn (literally) when one of them marched right off stage and into the audience. It's all painfully awkward, but we can't help but watch the video over and over again. Catch the notable moment above.
Dakota Fanning and Her Sister Are True Denim Queens
It's not just that Dakota and Elle Fanning have a lot of denim - it's that they wear it so well. From breezy babydoll dresses that are cinched at the waist to button-front skirts, Canadian tuxedos, and flares, these boho babes - who also happen to be sisters - have mastered way more than styling a pair of boyfriend jeans.
Dakota and Elle have virtually every piece of denim you need to pull off '70s-inspired trends, which is why we're using their street style to form our own mental shopping list. Ahead, catch a glimpse of all the silhouettes you need to try. We promise the Fanning sisters are about to quickly become your new fashion icons - they can't help it, it's just in their jeans.
