A Martial Arts Instructor Actually Made a Video Called "The Defense to the Trump Handshake"
Image Source: Getty / Drew Angerer
If we can agree on anything about President Donald Trump, it's definitely that the man does not know how to do a proper handshake. He cradles fingers, holds on for too long, and sometimes even pulls you toward him. People find it so strange that the internet's made several memes about it.
If you ever find yourself about to shake hands with Trump, you can do the following: run or use this martial arts technique to free yourself. That's right, martial arts academy Relson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy in Columbus, OH, posted a quick tutorial on YouTube on how to defend yourself against the Donald Trump handshake. The instructor teaches you how to pull a "goose neck" maneuver to release your hand from the shake. You can watch the short video here.
The instructor doesn't necessarily encourage you to do this to the president, but if you ever find yourself in need of getting your hand back, you know what to do.
Why Do Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon Hate Each Other?
There have been some explosive Hollywood feuds within the past few years, but one of the best ones isn't even real. Jimmy Kimmel and Matt Damon are known for playing up their "hatred" for each other during late-night appearances, but when exactly did the two become frenemies? Well, it all started during the third season of Jimmy Kimmel Live! when the host ended his show by apologizing to Matt for running out of time. "We had a bad show," Jimmy explained to NPR in 2013. "The guests were bad, and I was feeling pretty bad about myself at the end of the program and I decided to say [it] for the amusement of one of our producers who was standing next to me." After his producer got a kick out of the joke, he decided to keep it up . . . every single night.
So, why exactly did he use the Jason Bourne actor as the butt of his jokes? Honestly, Matt just happened to be the first name that popped into his head. "I was trying to think of an A-list star and somebody we absolutely would not bump if he was on the show," he explained. The little joke eventually became a beast of its own, and the two have been playing it up ever since. While we couldn't imagine a world without their infamous feud, we also can't help but wonder what would have happened if the host had uttered the name of another A-list actor back in 2004. Jimmy could be feuding with the likes of Kevin Bacon, or even Leonardo DiCaprio.
The Internet's New Favorite Trend Is Watching These Peaceful Videos of Glittery Goo
Most of us could use at least a few minutes in our day to relax and unwind from any stress at work or in our lives. While yoga and plenty of other activities are definitely helpful, there is one quick and easy way to put your mind at ease: watching videos of slime and goo be squished, pinched, and more.
It might sound weird at first, but an entire community of different accounts that use slime, sand, putty, and paint exists on Instagram to help people calm down. The videos are part of the ASMR (autonomous sensory meridian response) community and can help you calm down.
If this sounds interesting or you're just curious, watch some of our favorite videos from the Instagram account sparklygoo, which has more than 86,000 followers. This account gets creative and uses different types of goo that's colorful or sparkly, and some that even has stickers. Try looking at them ahead; you might end up enjoying the way you find yourself feeling.

Caitlyn Jenner Calls Out Trump For Treatment of LGBTQ Community: "This Is a Disaster"
Well @realDonaldTrump, from one Republican to another, this is a disaster. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me. http://pic.twitter.com/XwYe0LNUOq
- Caitlyn Jenner (@Caitlyn_Jenner) February 24, 2017
In the months leading up to America's decision to elect the host of NBC's The Apprentice (seasons one-14) as President of the United States of America, one of his most outspoken supporters was reality star and staunch Republican Caitlyn Jenner. As a transgender woman, her support for the conservative party - which openly seeks to abolish the rights of the LGBTQ community - was a shock, but she insisted her support for the GOP was due to her economic beliefs. Although she once called Hillary Clinton "a f*cking liar" and happily attended the presidential inauguration in January, it seems her opinion might be starting to change.
In a video she shared to Twitter on Thursday, the ESPY Award winner decried the current administration's decision to roll back protections for trans students' right to use bathrooms that correspond to their gender identity in public schools. "Well @realDonaldTrump, from one Republican to another, this is a disaster," she captioned the clip. "You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me." We wonder if she still stands by her claim that the president is "very good for women's issues."
Allison Williams Explains Why You Really Have to See Get Out Twice
Jordan Peele's new movie Get Out is the smartest horror flick in years. The film follows interracial couple Chris (Daniel Kaluuya) and Rose (Allison Williams) on a weekend getaway; Chris is meeting his white girlfriend's white family for the first time. It's pretty clear from the get-go that not everything is as it seems in this strange upstate neighborhood. Rose's family comes forward with nothing but microaggressions, and the rest of the members of the community are borderline antagonistic. The one question mark is Rose: is she just as crazy as the rest of her family seems to be, or does her love for Chris take precedent? We hopped on the phone with star Williams to get to the bottom of her mysterious and surprisingly complex character and to talk about the film's other ins and outs.
POPSUGAR: What was it like getting into this character?
Allison Williams: When I read the script, I instantly knew I wanted to do it . . . I wanted to find a way to give her a sense of real true love for her boyfriend and a dash of naiveté - you know, from being white her whole life - while also being really well-intentioned and genuinely wanting this to go well . . . it was a very collaborative process, and I was completely in from the beginning, and just could not wait to get to work on this.
PS: What statement do you think the film makes in the context of Donald Trump's America?
AW: That's such a good question. I mean, honestly, I think the sad truth is that this movie would be relevant and controversial no matter when it came out. But I think the statement it's making is not so much a declarative statement, it's more so an invitation to have a dialogue that we badly need to have and seem to have trouble with.
PS: True! There's a divide between real commentary on race in America and this switch to complete madness. How does the film toe that line?
AW: Well I actually think, if you think about something like the "sunken place," it's a metaphor in a lot of ways for a lot of stuff. [Note: In the film, Rose's mother, a psychiatrist, hypnotizes the main character, Chris. Without spoiling too much, she does this under the guise of helping Chris quit smoking. Once he's hypnotized, he falls down into the "sunken place," a weird, void-like space vacuum where he's susceptible to suggestion.] One, the experience of seeing a movie, where you have no agency or ability to alter what you're seeing on screen. And the experience of yelling something at the screen when you have no possibility of changing the outcome of what you're watching. And then there's also just the feeling of having no agency with what's happening around you, and feeling that sense of hopelessness. Like you're yelling into a crevasse and no one can hear you and no one will ever hear you.
PS: That's such a strong distinction! I didn't even consider that in regard to the "sunken place," but it seems so spot on.
AW: Yeah, and the other thing is - this is why I encourage people to see it a second time - there's so much layered in like that. Where it just, at first glance, seems like wild and crazy, but then when you look at it more closely . . . even the way people die, and his decision to pull back at the last minute. Why is she smiling? It's really, really layered, and I encourage you to think about it.
PS: I love that. I guess I'm seeing it again. Was there any moment during filming where you were like, "Oh my god, this is SO white"?
AW: I think, god, there's a lot of it. I think the more subtle things, like Rose's dad calls him "my man." That stuff is so real, that stuff is really subtle. And no one would accuse him of doing that out of malice, but it's one of those things where, once you're aware of it, you start to see it everywhere, and you're like, "Oh god, this is such a thing." And, I don't know, there are a lot of things like that. That whole cocktail party, all of those little conversations are cringe-y in their own right.
PS: SO cringe-y.
AW: Yeah, but they're also very real! Those are things you can kind of hear people bringing up!

Versace's Runway Is For the Power Woman in All of Us
Strong, confident, and just a little irreverent, Donatella Versace's Fall '17 lineup is for the power woman. Indeed, it was a cast of power women who walked for the legendary designer - big names like Behati Prinsloo (making her first postbaby runway debut), Kendall Jenner, and, of course, Gigi Hadid. Swathed in shearling-lined parkas, then sequins, cutouts, and even suiting, Versace seems to say this woman can wear - and have - it all.

McDonald's Shares the Impressive Reasons Its Coke Tastes So Effing Good
Have you ever wondered why McDonald's Coca-Cola tastes so much better than anywhere else's? Spoon University found a post on McDonald's FAQs page in which the burger company shares its secrets for serving up the best cups of Coke:
"There are many reasons the Coca-Cola tastes so great at McDonald's. We simply follow the guidelines set by Coca-Cola and take steps to ensure it tastes the same as when you buy it in a bottle. The water and Coca-Cola syrup are pre-chilled before entering our fountain dispensers with the ratio of syrup set to allow for ice to melt. We also keep our fountain beverage system cold so your drink can always be at the peak of refreshing. In order to ensure our drinks are always meeting a gold standard, we have proper filtration methods in place. There's also our straw - it's slightly wider than a typical straw, so all that Coke taste can hit all your taste buds."
While McDonald's gives us a great overview, Spoon University's reporting actually goes in depth on McDonald's impressive, extreme attention to detail when serving its Coca-Cola products. So the next time you're craving a Coke, you may find yourself strolling up to McDonald's rather than your corner store.

Guys, Ed Sheeran Literally Gave His Girlfriend the Shoes Off His Feet
Ed Sheeran is making sure we all know that chivalry is alive and well. On Wednesday, he and his girlfriend, Cherry Seaborn, hit up a Brit Awards afterparty in London, and at some point during the night, the heel on one of Cherry's Christian Louboutin booties broke. Ed wasn't going to let his lady just hop around on one foot like some total f*ckboy would do, so he took off his sneakers (and probably got down on one knee to place them gently on her feet) so she could wear them out of the club. Sigh. One listen to any of Ed's songs will let you know what a gentleman he is, but this latest act of gallantry is just too sweet to ignore. Did you get that text back yet?
Why Screen Time Is Actually Really Important For Kids (and Moms!)
I am not a crunchy, hippy mom: I only breastfed my son for six months, the minimum recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. I put him in his crib on the very first night he came home. I could never figure out how to wrap him to my body in yards of stretchy jersey, and I have never been bothered about my son getting a little screen time. While other moms might bristle at the thought of giving a toddler a tablet, I am all for it - in moderation, of course.
At almost 2 years old, my son will get between an hour and two hours of screen time a day. This is only slightly more than the allowable amount, according to the aforementioned American Academy of Pediatrics. Although he loves playing with books, puzzles, and that colorful sliding toy that is in every doctor's office, he also enjoys a little technology in his day, and I don't think that's a bad thing.
Screen time in our house takes on many different shapes. For starters, there's the scheduled biweekly FaceTime meetings with his aunts. Due to the fact that our homes are in different cities and they lead very busy lives, we don't get to see each other that often, usually only a couple times a year. If I was overly concerned with how much screen time my son was getting, I might not have gotten to experience the joy of watching him blowing kisses to his aunts 800 miles away. He knows them because of those phone calls, which makes the time when we are all together even more special because we're not having to negotiate stranger danger.
There are thousands of apps designed for toddlers, and while I obviously cannot speak to all of them, the few that I have downloaded have been great. My personal favorite is a game of flashcards of various animals and the sounds they make. We play together, "flipping" the cards over to hear cat go "meow" or the pig go "oink" as I tell him the names of the animals. This is very similar to the old See 'n Say toy of our youth; it's just modernized for young digital minds, and a lot more portable.
Then of course there is the dreaded TV. I get why it makes a lot of parents uneasy. It's so easy to slip into the habit of letting your kid become a zombie who stares at the screen, mouth agape and eyes barely blinking. That's clearly not the kind of television I'm talking about, though I will admit that there have been moments like this as I scramble to make dinner.
Around my son's 12-month checkup, his doctor and I had a conversation about screens, and her reasoning as to why so many are against television is because while the children are watching TV they aren't doing something else which could be better for them. It's kind of like eating dessert: while I'm eating this doughnut, I'm clearly not going to shove a carrot in my mouth.
It's kind of like eating dessert: while I'm eating this doughnut, I'm clearly not going to shove a carrot in my mouth.
With this in mind, when our son watches his beloved Sesame Street, we encourage him to do other things at the same time. He'll stack blocks, color, and play with his stuffed Sesame Street characters. During this time, he is establishing connections between the television and real world. The characters on the screen and the ones he's holding are the connection. He also is beginning to develop a little personality, one who has favorite characters, who laughs at mostly appropriate moments, and has started to sing along with the songs.
I'd be lying if I said that we never used TV as a distraction. There are times that we just need to get stuff done. It's a lot easier to shower when you're not concerned that the silence in the other room is leading to something disastrous. I know that I can trust my son to stay in his playroom, build with blocks, and watch TV in the time that it takes me to get clean. Having kids can be hard at times, and anything within reason to give you momentary lapses of ease is fine by me.
Looking ahead to when he is in school, I don't think he's going to be behind the other kids because of his affection for technology. On the contrary, considering our love of STEM education and a real movement toward paperless classrooms, I think it will benefit him in the long run. A lot of STEM-based instruction is designed around giving children the opportunity to explore and learn through inquiry. Many apps and TV shows support this approach, thus further strengthening a child's STEM literacy later in life.
In talking with early childhood specialists, they were quick to point out that preschool readiness isn't just about playing with others and knowing your colors. Being prepared for school also requires that young students are able to stay on task independently. Books, toys, apps, and yes, even television are all tools that parents can use to instill autonomy in their children. I enjoy the times where my son and I interact and play together, but it's also important for him to have time to himself, doing something that he loves.
I love my son. I want him to be prepared for the world when he's ready for it, but I also want him to be happy. Right now one of the things that makes him ecstatic to the point of shaking is Sesame Street, and I'm OK with that. If you could see his smile, I think you would be too.
When Her Daughter Approached a Group of Teenage Boys at a Park, 1 Mom Did NOT Expect This
Jeanean Thomas's 6-year-old daughter Peyton had been wanting to skateboard for a long time, but she was hesitant because she wasn't sure if it was "just for boys." Thanks to one kind teenage boy at a skate park, she now knows it's not just for boys and that anyone can do anything they want to do.
In Oct. 2015 Jeanean and her daughter went to a skate park in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, and saw a group of boys "who were smoking and swearing," so Peyton "immediately wanted to turn around and go home." When one of the boys approached Peyton as she was trying to skateboard, the unexpected happened - he didn't tell her to go away; he asked if he could help. He said, "Your feet are wrong. Can I help you?"
The mom was so grateful for this response and happy that Peyton got to do what she went there to do. Jeanean shared a sweet letter to the boy on Twitter to show her appreciation.
Dear teenage boy at the skate park... http://pic.twitter.com/78ry5esoTa
- Jeanean Thomas (@JeaneanThomas) October 11, 2015
The full note reads:
Dear teenage boy at the skate park:
You're probably about 15 years-old, so I don't expect you to be very mature or for you to want a little girl on your skate ramp for that matter.
What you don't know is that my daughter has been wanting to skateboard for months. I actually had to convince her that skateboarding wasn't for just for boys.
So when we walked up to the skate park and saw that it was full of teenaged boys who were smoking and swearing, she immediately wanted to turn around and go home.
I secretly wanted to go too because I didn't want to have to put on my mom voice and exchange words with you.
I also didn't want my daughter to feel like she had to be scared of anyone, or that she wasn't entitled to that skate park just as much as you were.
So when she said, "Mom it's full of older boys," I calmly said, "So what, they don't own the skate park."
She proceeded to go down the ramp in spite of you and your friends flying past her and grinding rails beside her.
She only had two or three runs in before you approached her and said "Hey, excuse me …"
I immediately prepared to deliver my "She's allowed to use this park just as much as you guys" speech when I heard you say, "Your feet are wrong. Can I help you?"
You proceeded to spend almost an hour with my daughter showing her how to balance and steer, and she listened to you – a feat not attained by most adults.
You held her hand and helped her get up when she fell down and I even heard you tell her to stay away from the rails so that she wouldn't get hurt.
I want you to know that I am proud that you are part of my community, and I want to thank you for being kind to my daughter, even though your friends made fun of you for it.
She left the skate park with a sense of pride and with the confidence that she can do anything, because of you.
"If it interests you, you can do it," Jeanean told BuzzFeed Canada. "Your gender doesn't matter, how you treat others is what matters." Preach!

No End in Sight: AMC Confirms That The Walking Dead Will "Have a Long Life"
We're nearing the end of season seven on The Walking Dead, which means it's more or less time to take stock. With the prolific and long-running comic-book series serving as the source material for the TV show, it's been harder and harder not to succumb to temptation and look ahead at what's to come. How long will we get to spend with the extravagant King Ezekiel? What's in store for Jesus, the rebel with a heart of gold? With many more comic issues to burn through yet, it's hard not to wonder how much more of the show is left for us to see. If that question's been on your mind, we've uncovered a pretty interesting answer.
As you may or may not know, Negan's brutal arrival at the beginning of this season meant we had officially reached the game-changing 100th issue of the comics. With Issue 161's Dec. 7 release, it's clear we've only burned through about 2/3 of the comic books. More plainly, if it took us six seasons to get through 100 issues, we've still got a solid handful of seasons to go before we're all caught up. But wait, that's not all! To help clarify what the future may hold, creator Robert Kirkman recently stopped by Kevin Smith's late-night talk show Geeking Out. Check out the clip below.
In February 2017, AMC Networks confirmed that the show isn't going anywhere. CEO Josh Sapan stated that "the show continues to have creative strength and command a large and loyal audience, which has in turn attracted ad revenue to our great benefit." He continued, noting that "The Walking Dead remains the number one show on television among younger viewers by a very wide margin . . . we believe it will have a long life that accrues to our strategic position and financial benefit."
The biggest takeaway here is that there's no end in sight for the comic books. If they make it to Issue 200, that would logically mean we could get up to 12 seasons of the TV show. Furthermore, if you consider Kirkman's sentiment about the comics outliving the show, the sky's really the limit. Basically, as long as AMC continues to renew the show - and it seems like they will - there will be plenty of new material to burn through. Seeing as we've already received news of an eighth season renewal, new episodes will air, at the very least, until mid-2018. Buckle up, TWD fans. We've got a long way to go.

The oft-shirtless New Zealand actor and part-time rock star has us swooning weekly as Archie Andrews in The CW's Riverdale, but there's still one thing about him that's a mystery. In addition to plenty of artsy photos on his Instagram courtesy of Riverdale costar Cole Sprouse, there are tons of photos of KJ hanging out with dogs. Where does he meet them all? Does he own them all himself? Did he get their emails after starring in A Dog's Purpose? Does he live on the Costa Rican island of stray dogs, by chance? Does he just snap his fingers and puppies appear out of thin air? Anyway, take a look at them in all their cuddly glory below.

Podcast host, plant-devotee, and mom Jessica Murnane has learned to embrace change. Her first cookbook, One Part Plant, A Guide to Eating Real, One Meal at a Time ($28), was inspired by the massive (like, really massive) health benefits she found through overhauling her diet. By focusing on plant-based eating, she was able to avoid the full hysterectomy her doctor recommended she have at only 33 years old to treat her stage 4 endometriosis. Food literally healed her.
Not only did eating a plant-based diet prevent Jessica from needing that surgery, but it also led her to a new career helping others live happier, healthier lifestyles through their diets - including Lena Dunham, who wrote the cookbook's foreword. Pretty awesome, right? In the middle of this big mental/diet/career switch in 2014, Jessica also became a mom, adopting her now-2-and-a-half-year-old son, Sid, with her husband and moving her young family from Chicago to Charleston less than a year later.
Because of her battle with endometriosis, people often assume Jessica adopted because she herself couldn't have children, but in truth, she never tried. Why? For one simple reason: she just never wanted to be pregnant or to give birth. "It's not something I wanted for my body," she said.
Keep reading for Jessica's open, honest, totally awesome take on adoption and motherhood.
One Part Plant, A Guide to Eating Real, One Meal at a Time ($28), Jessica Murnane's culinary love letter to plant-based eating.
POPSUGAR: Let's talk about why you wanted to adopt. It's definitely not a story you hear a lot.
Jessica Murnane: From a young age, I knew I wanted to adopt. I do have endometriosis, but contrary to what people think, that's not why I chose adoption. I never tried to get pregnant because I had this instinct that I never wanted to give birth. I thought that if I don't want that for my body, and there's also a whole bunch of babies out there who need homes, why would I put myself through that? I've talked to so many women who have a baby because their husband isn't supportive of adoption or their family thinks it's weird, but I say, if you don't want to give birth, then don't.
PS: What was your adoption process like?
JS: Nine or 10 months after we started it, we had Sid, but there were a lot of steps to get there. We definitely went through matches that fell through, and that was hard at the time, but now it's like, thank goodness because Sid is meant to be ours. A lot of times the adoption process is portrayed in the media as being this awful, scary thing, but I didn't have that experience. I actually enjoyed the process. We got the call about Sid when he was 3 weeks old. His birth mom was still going through counseling because the agency we worked with requires that. His birth mom had been with him every day. We went and met with his birth mom, and it was amazing. We had so much in common.
PS: Is it common that you would be matched with a baby that's already born?
JM: It can happen either way. Another woman we were matched with was eight months pregnant. We matched with her for six weeks, and then she ended up keeping the baby. Every adoption story is so different, but I liked this way because we had to wait less time to meet our baby.
PS: The One Part podcast was just taking off when Sid arrived, and then you moved from Chicago to Charleston before his first birthday. How did you balance new motherhood and building a brand?
JM: It was a very crazy time. When you have a baby through childbirth, even if it's unplanned, you have nine months to plan. With adoption, your baby arrives when you least expect it. But for me, it actually ended up being a good thing. It chilled me out with my work stuff. I couldn't be so stressed about work because I got to care for this new baby. It seemed like a lot at once, but it was all good stuff.
PS: How do you, or will you, talk to Sid about his adoption?
JM: We have to be aware of continuing the conversation about him being adopted, partly because he looks so much like my husband that we could probably go for 10 years and never talk about it. We have an open adoption. Every open adoption has a different scenario, but for us it means we text Sid's birth mom about every other week and see her once a year. I send her photos and she wishes me a Happy Mother's Day. We have a good relationship; we're respectful of one another's space. Some people want no contact ever. Some people see each other less, but we're in constant communication with one another.
PS: What was the biggest challenge of your adoption process, both before and after you met Sid?
JM: Definitely having no idea when you'll have a baby coming home to you! It was so hard to plan things in advance. Whenever my husband and I were invited to a wedding that was out of town, we were never sure how to RSVP. Will we have a newborn three months from now? It was impossible to know. After Sid came home, I was just so happy that I don't really feel I encountered many challenges outside of normal newborn stuff. But I think that's because of the incredible relationship I have with Sid's birth mom. She truly felt that Sid was meant to be our child. If she hadn't been so clear on that and was conflicted and in pain about her decision, I know that would have been a huge challenge for me.
PS: What has been the biggest surprise about adopting?
JM: I would get annoyed during the process when people told me that we'd be matched up with the baby that's meant to be ours. It might take time, but it would happen when it was meant to be. I wanted to scream if one more person told me that. But it actually turned out to be true!
When we found out about Sid there were so many insane coincidences that we knew he was our baby. One of the craziest is that Sid is half-Mongolian. My husband's grandmother collected books on Mongolia and was obsessed about reading about Genghis Khan. She was convinced that she had Mongolian blood, even though there was no evidence to prove it. When our counselor called and said we had been matched with Sid and he was half-Mongolian, I knew it was our baby. Dan's grandmother passed away before Sid came home to us, but I swear she had some sort of angel adoption powers that had him come into our lives.
PS: What has been the greatest joy in your adoption process?
JM: Just how much my family loves Sid. He's the first grandchild in my family and is so loved that it makes me teary-eyed thinking about it. None of my family questioned our decision to adopt, which made the process a lot less stressful. And as soon as he came home to us, my family drove, flew, got there any way they could to meet him. It was pretty special. Now, I'm crying again!
The Weeknd Might Have Just Dissed Selena Gomez in His New Song
Since The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) was caught sneaking out of Giorgio Baldi restaurant with Selena Gomez, the couple has been spotted together on many occasions - Dave & Buster's dates in LA, a romantic trip to Italy, and more. Although the photos show a smitten, loved-up duo, The Weeknd's new lyrics may suggest that the relationship isn't all that the photos make it out to be.
The singer was featured on Future's new album HNDRXX in a song titled "Comin Out Strong," where he has some head-scratching lyrics about a woman who seemingly wants to publicize a romance way more than he does. He sings, "I know she wanna be poppin' all over the 'gram / When the cameras come out, wanna hold my hand / Must be out of your mind, do you know who I am? / Man you're killing my vibe, do you know who I am?" The Weeknd could be referencing any of the women he's been linked to since his split from Bella Hadid in November of last year, but there are a few tell-tale signs that Selena's name could be written all over these shady lyrics.
For starters, Abel has always been mysteriously discreet about his personal life, and it makes sense that Selena's typically private nature attracted them to one another initially - but what about her recent Instagram moves? Selena posted and then deleted a video of The Weeknd while they were in Italy together, captioned with a heart. Also, earlier this week, Selena smiled for a photo on her mom's Instagram page, rocking none other than The Weeknd's tour merchandise. Fans were quick to point out that her mom's caption referenced Selena's "date," but that Selena and the other man in the photo she was referring to "are not really dating."
While The Weeknd and Selena have moved quickly in their romance (and they've appeared to be super into each other), these lyrics may be his way of telling her to slow it down. The other possibility is that as an insanely popular and talented artist, the lyrics reference other women who have tried to reap the benefits of his fame by grabbing his hand and posing for photos. Listen to "Comin Out Strong" here and decide for yourself.
Could Mace Windu Be Supreme Leader Snoke? This Theory Is Very Convincing
When it comes to the newest Star Wars trilogy, so much is still shrouded in mystery. Since watching 2015's Episode VII (The Force Awakens), our primary focus has been on the main character, Rey. The world at large couldn't stop theorizing about the identity of her parents. Now that we know Episode VIII has been titled The Last Jedi, our minds are spinning even more trying to figure out who the title is referring to. Among all of these questions, one even larger mystery seems to linger: we're talking about the identity of Supreme Leader Snoke. As we consider the suspects, one new theory has come totally out of left field. What if Mace Windu, played by Samuel L. Jackson in Episode I, Episode II, and Episode III, is the mysterious new villain? Let's break down the logic behind the claim.
Mace Windu Might Still Be Alive
Jackson stated in a Twitter Q&A in June 2016 that he thinks Mace Windu is alive. "In my mind, he's alive. [Jedi] can fall incredibly high distances and not die." It's worth noting that Mace Windu loses a hand and experiences the full impact of Palpatine's Force lightning before he's flung out of a window to his death. That said, no Jedi has ever died in the series from any of those three types of injury. In fact, some characters have survived falls of even greater distances. If Mace Windu doesn't die in Episode III, there are unlimited options for where he could be.
But How Could Mace Become as Disfigured as Snoke?
As is clearly evidenced in that very same scene, the reason Palpatine becomes so deformed is because of his own Force lightning deflected back at him. It stands to reason that Windu could develop the same horrifying scars and pallor from Palpatine's attack. Snoke's huge head scar could be from Windu's great fall. And, hey, they're both bald. It's worth noting.
Wouldn't He Be Old as Hell, Though?
Yes, but that doesn't mean his survival up through the new trilogy is out of the question. After all, Snoke does say he witnessed the rise and fall of the Galactic Empire, meaning he was around during the first two trilogies. This means he could very well be Mace Windu.
Mace Windu Is in Touch With the Dark Side
Mace Windu notably harnesses the power of the dark side, even in spite of the fact that he's a Jedi knight. Even his purple lightsaber is an indicator that he straddles both sides. The trademark blue of the Jedi could mix with the red of the Sith to get this very color.
Mace Windu's Motive For Revenge
So, why would he turn to the dark side? Well, the fact that he's betrayed by Anakin Skywalker may be reason enough. We know Snoke is determined to find Luke Skywalker, and using Anakin's betrayal as a motivating force would explain why. Plus! If you subscribe to the theory that Rey is actually a Palpatine, it strengthens the argument and explains why Snoke is so obsessed with her. After all, Mace Windu would want to get back at Palpatine for everything he does in that supposed death scene.
There are even more layers to this, but that's the gist. If you're interested in Mace Windu's signature lightsaber move, his connection to Finn, and the further involvement with Kylo Ren, this video outlines everything in much more detail:

Mom's Hilariously Relatable Video Perfectly Sums Up the Struggle of Everyday House Chores
How was I soo busy all day and nothing is done??
🤷🏻♀️😉
#squirrel #focusPosted by CA Miljavac on Tuesday, February 21, 2017
Keeping the house spick and span is like a full-time job. From dirty dishes and stacked-up mail to crayon-covered walls and smelly laundry, there's always something to be cleaned. One mom just perfectly captured the true struggle of getting it all done in a hilarious video.
Carolanne Miljavac shared the above Facebook video, which goes through a day that was seemingly busy, yet at the end of it all, she honestly didn't get much accomplished.
The funny mama starts by saying she needs to clean the house, which spurs a domino effect of to-dos. Once she goes to do the dishes, she notices that the floors also need a good scrubbing. But before she starts mopping, she notices that she needs to take out the garbage. When she discovers that she doesn't have any trash bags, she has to add it to a grocery list.
The video goes on to follow her tireless journey around the house in which her tasks keep piling up along the way. At the end, her spouse walks in the door from work and asks what she did that day. "What did I do all day?" Carolanne asks in the video. "Look around, I've been doing everything! You don't even know."
Busy moms everywhere can definitely relate to Carolanne's hysterical video. Rest assured that you're not alone on this journey to getting sh*t done.

When Are the 2017 Oscars? Plus, Everything Else You Need to Know About the Show
The Oscars are the grand finale of award season, and this year, we have more to look forward to than ever. La La Land is up for an astonishing (and recording-tying) 14 awards, Viola Davis has already broken a record, and unless one of them doesn't show up for their nominated categories, ex-couple Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield will be in the same place at the same time. (It's exciting, OK?) If you're looking forward to the big show, take a look at all the need-to-know details below!
The Nominees
The best picture race is incredibly tight, with Arrival, Fences, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water, Hidden Figures, La La Land, Lion, Manchester by the Sea, and Moonlight all in the running. At least one actor from each of those movies is up for an individual nod, including Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Casey Affleck, Denzel Washington, and Viola Davis. There are also plenty of first-time nominees like Andrew Garfield, Ruth Negga, Mahershala Ali, and Dev Patel.
The Snubs
Notably missing from the list of nominees are Amy Adams (Arrival) and Tom Hanks (Sully) - both of whom ABC accidentally (and awkwardly) listed on the Oscars' website as nominees. Both Hanks and Adams received nominations from the Critics' Choice Awards, but Adams also earned them from the SAG Awards and the Golden Globes. It's not shocking that they're not included, but it is slightly surprising.
The Host
This year's ceremony will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Meanwhile, Michael De Luca and Jennifer Todd are producing the show.
The Presenters
Last year's acting winners, Leonardo DiCaprio, Brie Larson, Mark Rylance, and Alicia Vikander, are all scheduled to be presenters. Emma Stone, David Oyelowo, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Mann, Felicity Jones, Dwayne Johnson, John Cho, Javier Bardem, Riz Ahmed, Amy Adams, Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Jamie Dornan, Chris Evans, Gael García Bernal, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Dakota Johnson, Shirley MacLaine, Kate McKinnon, and Hailee Steinfeld will also present during the show.
The Performers
Justin Timberlake, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Sting, and John Legend will all be performing their Oscar-nominated songs during the ceremony.

When It's On
The Academy Awards will air on Feb. 26 on ABC!

Why You Recognize the Star of the New Horror Film Get Out
In October, we got introduced to a terrifying new horror movie by Jordan Peele. It's called Get Out, and the creepy trailer is enough on its own to turn you off of white suburbia for good. But there's something else. The more time we spent watching the trailer and looking forward to the film, the more we began to feel like star Daniel Kaluuya looked very, very familiar. And then, it clicked!
Kaluuya actually appears in the first season of Black Mirror. He stars in the second episode, called "Fifteen Million Merits." The story tells of a futuristic dystopian society that revolves around 24-hour TV and the shallow entertainment of reality shows. In this world, civilians must cycle to power the society, earning a kind of currency known as Merits. We don't want to give too much away, but you might argue that it's a different kind of horror than Kaluuya experiences in his new film.
Additionally, you may recognize Kaluuya from his recurring roles on Skins, Psychoville, The Fades, and Babylon. On the movie side, he's been in Kick-Ass 2 and Sicario, and he recently joined the cast of Marvel's Black Panther! Now you know. And now you can get that much more excited to see Get Out when it hits theaters on Feb. 24.

BBQ Food and 8 Other Genius Ideas For a First Birthday Smash Sans Cake
Cake smashes are all the rage on social media - who doesn't love a kid covered in chunks of crumbs and frosting?! However, whether it's a parent's choice to not go HAM on the sugar just yet, cake just isn't their thing, or their child has shown interest in another type of food, there are plenty of moms and dads going different routes for their child's first birthday smash.
Lyndsey Wright, photographer at Lyndsey PhotoCo, is leading the charge in photographing these alternative smashes, having snapped photos of little ones cramming doughnuts into their tiny mouths or crunching on hard tacos with reckless abandon.
And we've got to admit, we thought these smashes were way cuter than any cake smash we've ever seen.
Aside from tacos and doughnuts (and yes, cake), Lyndsey has photographed quite a few other types of food smashes over the last few years, including a hilarious and delicious-looking BBQ food session. "I got sick of doing cake smashes over and over and over and over again so I started asking my clients if their baby had a favorite table food," Lyndsey told POPSUGAR Moms. "When one client said her baby loved BBQ last year, we put the BBQ smash together and it was adorable!"
As for future epic food shoots, Lyndsey isn't sure what her next huge idea will be. "I need to come up with another 'goal food' to try and top that taco shoot! I do have a few other types of smashes in the works. Let's just say they're hilarious and will be SO stinkin' cute!"
We can't wait! In the meantime, scroll through to see some of Lyndsey's most adorable food smashes to date.

This Actually Isn't Justin Timberlake's First Time Performing at the Oscars
Although this year's Academy Awards mark Justin Timberlake's first time attending as a nominee, the singer isn't a stranger to the Oscars stage. Timberlake is up for best original song for "Can't Stop the Feeling," his hit from the Trolls soundtrack, and he'll be performing the catchy song during the show. There's plenty of buzz and excitement about his upcoming performance, but this actually isn't his first time in the Oscars spotlight.
Timberlake's return to the Oscars stage comes after 17 years (!) and (RIP, curls) several different hairstyles. Back in 2000, he and the rest of *NSYNC joined Gloria Estefan to perform "Music of My Heart" from the movie Music of the Heart. The song was nominated in the same category, best original song, with music and lyrics by Diane Warren.
Ready for a trip down memory lane? Check out the 2000 performance below, which will truly fulfill all your nostalgia needs.

Emma Thompson Won't Be in the Love Actually Sequel For 1 Perfectly Understandable Reason
The world collectively squealed in delight when we found out that Andrew Lincoln, Hugh Grant, Keira Knightley, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, and more of the cast of Love Actually would be coming together for a short follow-up to their hit film. The "sequel" is being made to support Red Nose Day, put on by the British charity Comic Relief. Despite the good cause, there is one original cast member who won't be appearing in the short film: Emma Thompson. She opened up to the Press Association about a conversation she had with writer/director Richard Curtis, who agreed that it was too soon after Alan Rickman's death for her to appear:
"Richard wrote to me and said, 'Darling, we can't write anything for you because of Alan,' and I said, 'No, of course, it would be sad, too sad' . . . It's too soon. It's absolutely right because it's supposed to be for Comic Relief but there isn't much comic relief in the loss of our dear friend, really, just over a year ago . . . We thought and thought [about it] but it just seemed wrong. It was absolutely the right decision."
We understand, and we will certainly miss their dynamic.
Try Not to Drool as You Gaze Upon These Sexy Grilled Cheese Doughnuts
We've been thoroughly enjoying the doughnut foodie trend and the incredible creations that it has spawned. The everything bagel doughnut was the sweet and savory treat we had been craving, and unicorn doughnuts delighted our taste buds as well as our imagination. We didn't think the trend could get any better until we heard about the mouthwatering Flamin' Hot Doughnut Grilled Cheese served at Clinton Hall biergarten for one month only.
The geniuses behind this delectable creation took a Habanero Glazed Bacon Doughnut from The Doughnut Project and sliced it in half, placed mozzarella cheese between the slices, and cooked it on both sides like a grilled cheese. When the cheese is oozing out the sides of the toasted doughnut, the chef places the creation on a hook above a bowl of tomato soup, allowing the cheese to drip into the bowl. Basically, it's a pretty sexy dish.
Only 20 Flamin' Hot Doughnut Grilled Cheeses are served each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for $11 each. If you can't wait to sink your teeth into one of these, we suggest heading downtown to Clinton Hill in Manhattan early in the morning before they sell out.
