Gael García Bernal: "I Am Against Any Form of Wall That Wants to Separate Us"
When actor Gael García Bernal took the stage alongside Hailee Steinfeld to present the award for the best animated feature film, we had no idea that his words would be so powerful. Before getting to the award (which went to Zootopia), Bernal took this opportunity to denounce President Donald Trump's plans to build a Mexican border wall. The best part is, he didn't even have to mention the president's name for the emotion to be felt through the building.
"Flesh and blood actors are migrant workers," Bernal said. "We travel all over the world, we build families, we construct stories, we build life that cannot be divided. As a Mexican, as a Latin American, as a migrant worker, as a human being, I'm against any form of wall that wants to separate us."
Watch the moment below, which resulted in a massive applause, invigorating the Dolby Theatre.

13 Celebrities Who Are Just as Shocked as You About That Best Picture Flub at the Oscars
The 2017 Oscars ended with a shocker that left everyone floored after actress Faye Dunaway mistakenly announced La La Land as the winner for best picture. The coveted award actually went to Moonlight and was corrected by La La Land producer Jordan Horowitz. "There's been a mistake. Moonlight won," Horowitz said to the audience. "It's not a joke," he added, addressing the Moonlight cast. "This is not a joke, come up here." The confusion sent shock waves across social media, with celebrities sharing their bewilderment at the mix-up and showing support for Moonlight's well-deserved win.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's Hotness Factor Is Officially Off the Charts
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux may have skipped the Oscars red carpet on Sunday, but they certainly made up for it at Vanity Fair's annual afterparty. Jennifer turned up the heat in a black Versace gown with a plunging neckline, while Justin looked dapper in a black suit. At one point, the couple - who recently returned from Mexico - even shared a sweet moment in front of photographers as they gazed lovingly into each other's eyes. We haven't seen Jen look this sexy in a while, but we definitely aren't complaining.

At the Oscars, Leonardo DiCaprio Was Like That Senior Coming Back to Campus After Graduation
Leonardo DiCaprio won the coveted best actor award at the Oscars in 2016, and the actor was clearly feeling himself when he returned to the scene of the crime a year later. First of all, he was late; Leo skipped the red carpet and was MIA during most of the show, popping up just in time to present the best actress award to Emma Stone. He was basically that senior who comes back to campus after graduation - confident and unbothered, with a little bit of extra swagger. We'll likely get a glimpse of him posted up at the afterparty, vaping in the corner like a boss.

Here's Where Andrew Garfield Was Sitting During Emma Stone's Acceptance Speech
Blink and you might have missed a quick glimpse of Andrew Garfield as Emma Stone accepted the Academy Award for best actress for La La Land. If, like us, you were eager to see his inevitably sweet reaction to her big win, don't worry: we did the rewinding for you, and as Emma thanked her friends and family, Andrew was front and center to experience her special moment.
The former couple have shared a handful of moments as they ran into each other throughout award season, including a reunion at the AFI Awards and a hug ahead of the BAFTAs.
Yikes: Moonlight Wins Best Picture After La La Land Is Mistakenly Awarded
Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway pulled a Steve Harvey when they announced the wrong winner at the Oscars on Sunday night, the first time a mistake like this has happened in the 89-year history of the show. After presenting the best picture nominees, Beatty appeared to have some trouble reading the card before showing Dunaway, who announced La La Land as the winner. The cast and crew took the stage and began saying their thank yous before an Oscars producer ran to the stage and gave the card a second look. La La Land's Jordan Horowitz stopped everything: "There's a mistake," he said, "Moonlight, you guys won best picture. This is not a joke. Moonlight has won best picture." He held up the card for the cameras, which did indeed say Moonlight.
Host Jimmy Kimmel apologized and hilariously blamed Steve Harvey before Horowitz graciously handed his trophy to the cast and crew of Moonlight. Beatty also approached the mic again to explain what happened:
"I opened the envelope and it said Emma Stone, La La Land. That's why I took such a long look at Faye and at you. I wasn't trying to be funny."
Was Beatty handed a duplicate card from Emma Stone's best actress win? Like, who do we blame here? Oscars producers? Warren Beatty? Jimmy Kimmel? Matt Damon?! All we know for sure is that this is one Oscars moment nobody will ever forget.
Emma Stone Addressed the Best Picture Kerfuffle Backstage at the Oscars
"Did you guys see that?" That was the first thing Emma Stone said when she walked into the press room backstage at the Oscars. Stone, of course, was answering questions about her best actress win, but when La La Land was mistakenly announced as the best picture winner instead of Moonlight, she naturally felt compelled to address the controversy. "I f*cking love Moonlight," she said as an aside. "God, I love Moonlight so much, I'm so excited for Moonlight. Of course, it was amazing to hear La La Land, we're so excited for Moonlight, it's one of the best movies ever . . . also, I was holding my best actress card the whole time. So whatever story they told . . . I'm not sure what happened." The kerfuffle will go down as one of the craziest moments in Oscars history . . . even if we're still not entirely sure what happened.
This Iranian Director Skipped the Oscars, But He Sent a Pretty Epic Replacement
Iranian director Asghar Farhadi skipped the Oscars this year because of Donald Trump's travel ban, so he was absent when his film The Salesman won. Since he planned on not attending the ceremony, Farhadi had two very specific individuals lined up to accept the award and read a statement on his behalf. Their names are Anousheh Ansari and Dr. Firouz Naderi, but who exactly are they, and why did they take the stage in Farhadi's stead?
Backstage in the press room, Naderi explained why they had been charged with the task of accepting the award, and things got deep. "I think the reason that he chose the two of us," he explained, "she is an astronaut. She has gone to the space station. I work for NASA. I have managed NASA's Mars program and Solar System. I think the reason is that if you go away from the Earth and look back at the Earth, you don't see any of the borders, any of the lines. You just see one whole beautiful Earth, and I think the reason that he selected the two of us was to basically convey that message." Damn.
Barry Jenkins Gracefully Accepts Moonlight's Best Picture Win After That Tragic Mistake
In a crazy plot twist, Moonlight ended up taking home the best picture Oscar on Sunday. After Warren Beatty explained the gaffe, director Barry Jenkins - who was clearly overwhelmed with emotion - took the stage to proudly accept the award. "Even in my dreams this could not be true, but to hell with dreams, I'm done with it 'cause this is true," he said.

Casey Affleck took home his first Oscar on Sunday night. The Manchester by the Sea star was practically speechless as he took to the stage to accept the award for best actor. Not only did he give a special shout-out to the rest of the nominees in his category, but he also thanked the film's producer and his brother's close friend Matt Damon for including him on the project. Ben was even seen fighting back tears as he clapped for Casey from the audience.

Damien Chazelle Just Became the Youngest Director Ever to Win the Oscar
Damien Chazelle has won the best director Oscar at just 32 years old! Barry Jenkins gave a truly moving speech when he accepted best adapted screenplay alongside Tarell Alvin McCraney at the Oscars. Aside from thanking his friends, family, and crew, the Moonlight director and writer took a moment to talk about the importance of inclusivity. "All you people out there who feel like there is no mirror for you . . . we will not forget you," he told the camera.

It's no surprise that the Oscars were full of amazing moments on Sunday night. After the hustle and bustle of the red carpet died down and the first batch of awards were handed out, the show paid tribute to the artists Hollywood tragically lost both in 2016 and in 2017. Following an introduction from Jennifer Aniston, Sara Bareilles sang a gorgeous rendition of Joni Mitchell's "Both Sides, Now" as a video commemorating iconic stars like Carrie Fisher, Prince, Anton Yelchin, and Mary Tyler Moore played. Given the shocking death of Bill Paxton earlier on Sunday, it was a heart-wrenching moment for all watching.
John Legend's La La Land Performance Will Make You Wish He Sang the Entire Soundtrack
John Legend has a relatively small role in La La Land, but the Oscars enlisted him for double duty this year. The movie's stars, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, introduced Legend for his short medley of both of the film's nominated numbers - "Audition" and "City of Stars" - during the ceremony. Is it too much to ask for a soundtrack with just Legend singing every song?

See her stunning look from all angles ahead.
Ciara Pulled a Kardashian Style Move at the Oscars Afterparty
Remember how good Kim Kardashian looked throughout her pregnancies? She dressed her bump in a combination of body-hugging dresses and coordinating duster coats, a style move that Ciara must have loved too - because she just brought it to Elton John's annual Oscars afterparty.
There, in a room full of glitzy gowns, Ciara was a standout for all the right reasons. Her more minimalist August Getty ensemble is sexy, but understated. She finished with a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti heels and Jacob & Co. jewels. Sure, on Oscars Sunday it can be easy to get carried away, but we have to admire Ciara's subtle, chic approach. Click through to see her glowing maternity look.
Well Hot Damn, These Oscars Dresses Were Sexy
You might not be surprised that the sexiest dresses at the Oscars came at the afterparties. Even so, there were a few spottings at the ceremony that really blew us away (cue Halle Berry, looking like a glamazon). Whether it was because these gowns were skin-tight or revealing thanks to a thigh-high slit or sheer panel, they all made us stop and stare. Scroll for a look.
Jim Parsons Was Almost Not Allowed Into the Oscars For a Reason That Will Make You LOL
Jim Parsons could not have been more excited to attend the Oscars on Sunday night, so excited that he almost couldn't get in. The Hidden Figures actor hilariously detailed his experience on Instagram, revealing to his followers that he made a total rookie mistake: he forgot his ID at home. If that wasn't enough, Jim also locked himself out of his home, where his ID was. "Locked out of house without ID which, apparently, you need to get into the Oscars," he captioned the photo above.
After saying he wished he'd taught his dogs how to unlock the door, the star finally shared the moment of relief. With the help of some heroic friends, Jim made it to the Oscars. Let's just say Jim's Big Bang Theory character, Sheldon Cooper, would not have let this happen.

Taraji P. Henson Trying to Steal Cookies at the Oscars Will Make You Say, "Same, TBH"
Despite being an accomplished actress, Taraji P. Henson is probably one of the most relatable celebrities in Hollywood, and at Sunday's Oscars she gave us another reason to love her. During a commercial break, host Jimmy Kimmel surprised everyone when he unleashed a fleet of parachutes full of candy and cookies from the ceiling, and one of the lucky recipients was Octavia Spencer. When the cameras panned to the audience, Taraji (who was sitting behind Octavia) lit up upon seeing this and asked Octavia, "Are you sharing?" Never change, Taraji, never change.

Ben Affleck "and Guest" Matt Damon Bring the Laughs on Stage at the Oscars
It's been two decades since Good Will Hunting earned Ben Affleck and Matt Damon an Academy Award for best original screenplay, and the longtime friends and collaborators celebrated the milestone when they hit the stage together at the Oscars on Sunday night. Thanks to host Jimmy Kimmel's ongoing feud with Matt, they were introduced as "Ben Affleck and guest," and Jimmy made sure the band played music any time Matt tried to speak. While Matt walked the red carpet with his wife, Luciana, Ben skipped the step and repeat; will we see him at the afterparty with his younger brother, Casey?

It goes without saying that few late-night show segments compare to Jimmy Kimmel's Mean Tweets videos. In honor of the beloved tradition of forcing high-profile celebrities to read horrible (and hilarious) tweets about themselves, the Oscars host debuted a special award show edition of the segment on Sunday night. La La Land costars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone had to face their haters ("Emma Stone looks like a crack whore in every role she plays"), while Samuel L. Jackson was forced to consider his "resting fart face." Of all Jimmy's fun stunts at the Oscars this year, this one might be the best.

From star-studded group selfies to giving tour buses full of people the surprise of a lifetime, the Oscars is known for its jaw-dropping stunts. At the award show on Sunday night, host Jimmy Kimmel surprised everyone when he unleashed a fleet of parachutes full of candy onto the audience.

No one could hide their excitement over the unexpected treat (especially the adorable Taraji P. Henson), but there was one thing about it that seemed weirdly familiar. If you're a fan of The Hunger Games, you probably noticed that Kimmel's parachutes are a sweeter version of the parachutes tributes like Katniss Everdeen received while fighting for their lives in the arena, which you can see below. Thankfully the Oscars audience wasn't in need of anything more serious than Red Vines and Junior Mints!

Michael J. Fox took us way back when he presented at the Oscars alongside Seth Rogen on Sunday night. The actor, who is best known for his role in the Back to the Future series, made all of our dreams come true when he casually stepped out of his Delorean on stage. Seth was so excited to stand next to one of his idols that he told the audience the only thing left on his bucket list now would be to sing Hamilton's "The Schuyler Sisters" on stage, which, of course, caused Lin-Manuel Miranda to erupt into laughter.

These Are the Top 10 Trending Haircuts For Spring, According to Stylists
It's around this time that the "new year, new you" chants have exhausted themselves. If, like us, you're feeling a little burnt out at work or at trying to keep up with your fitness resolutions and clean-eating regimen, then you're probably also looking for something to look forward to.
Spring is in so many ways symbolic of a reawakening. It's this seasonal rebirth that affords us our own personal renaissance, one that we're intensely happy for, especially if - and, let's be honest, when - those resolutions have become a little worse for wear. With the upcoming change in seasons, we're most excited for what's trending in hair.
Hairstylist Tracy Rasmussen from Brooklyn-based salon Bull in the Heather believes (and we can't disagree) that a haircut can define your entire look. "It can boost your confidence and be the finishing touch that pulls your style together," she said.
Expect natural texture to be back in full force, for next season's cuts to feature modern twists on past favorites, and an abundance of streamlined bobs-to-lobs. Keep reading to learn more about the styles you'll be requesting when the leaves return to the trees.
