Samuel L. Jackson Curses His Way Through the Internet's Most Burning Questions
After hearing the name Samuel L. Jackson, "giddy" probably isn't the first word that comes to mind ("motherf*cker" is probably higher on the list). Well, while sitting down with Wired recently, the Kong: Skull Island actor agreed to participate in their "The Web's Most Searched Questions" segment, and he's positively delightful. Since he's appeared in over 100 films after beginning his acting career in the early '70s, the internet is practically bursting with questions about him. He happily answers everything from "How did Samuel L. Jackson die?" to "What did Samuel L. Jackson engrave on his lightsaber?" (spoiler alert: something hilarious). Check out his f-bomb-filled Q&A session above!
8 of TV's Most Inspirational Female Friendships
These days, it is beautifully common to see a big band of powerful, influential women marching together and preaching feminism. There is still a weird paradigm, however, in terms of what an "aspirational female friendship" should look like. On the one hand, there is the polished, Instagram-ready friendship we see presented by stars like Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian. But however pure the friendship behind those alliances may be, they still have an undeniable brand value that makes them feel sort of manufactured. #Squadgoals definitely had its moment, but it tends to apply to long-legged, dressed-to-the-nines snapshots of girlfriends more so than Gloria Steinem giving Ruth Bader Ginsburg a high-five.
No one has a monopoly on feminism, but for all the talk of this being a new heyday for women's representation in the media, it's kind of a bummer to see a commodified, watered-down version of the movement presented as pop culture's mainstream. And yet, I am hopeful, because TV is really and truly in a new Golden Age, and this one features a whole lot more women - in front of and behind the camera.
For the first time in my adult life, I don't have to search desperately for a show that passes the Bechdel test. Not only can I see my and my friends' experiences represented on television more consistently, but I can find multiple examples of female friendships the I actually do aspire to have. Too often, the image of celebrity friendship doesn't give us much to aim for beyond an outward appearance of glamour and social clout, but with television, we can dive into the good, the bad, and even the mundane of what it means to be lady friends. With that, let's take a look at the shows that are changing the way female friendship is represented on TV!

Eva Mendes on Skipping Award Season: "I'd Rather Be With Our Girls"
If you were wondering why Eva Mendes was nowhere to be seen while partner Ryan Gosling made his way around the award season circuit with his movie La La Land, we think we have the answer. The Cuban-American actress is on the cover of Shape magazine's April 2017 issue, and in the interview, she's opening up about balancing her life as a new mom of two. "What people don't know about me is that I love being home. Instead of hitting the red carpet, I'd rather be with our girls," Eva said about staying home with 2-year-old Esmeralda and 10-month-old Amada.
The private star might not talk much about her relationship with the Canadian actor, but she has no problem opening up about her favorite workout, glowing-skin beauty tips, and even her mom's Cuban cooking - she makes killer beans, apparently, and now we need her recipe! Scroll ahead for more quotes and photos from Eva's interview.

Use This Genius Trick to Get Every Last Drop of Concealer Out of the Tube
Having a love for cosmetics can end up being a costly hobby, which makes it all the more frustrating when you can see - but not reach! - the very last drops of product in a tube. Not too long ago, Michelle Phan showed us how to scoop those dregs of lip gloss out of the container. However, we're wary of microwaving our precious tubes of concealer in order to get at what's left.
Thankfully, Reddit user renaissancetomboy shared her trick for doing so in an easy DIY featuring Tarte's cult-favorite Shape Tape Contour Concealer ($24).
"I pulled the plastic stopper out of the tube with a pair of locking pliers, scraped it off, then used a depotting spatula to scrape the tube as best I could," she explained. "I basically got a whole other tube of concealer out of it. I can't believe nearly half the product that's in the tube is left in the tube when it's 'empty.'" (She sanitized the spatula and new container before filling it with the remaining quantity of concealer.)
As she rightly points out, this extra amount can last a seriously long time, so this method is absolutely worth the effort. Click through the above gallery for step-by-step instruction on how to get every last drop of concealer out of the tube.
Proof That Drew Barrymore and Daughter Frankie Are Twins
Drew Barrymore had an adorable date night on Tuesday when she took her 2-year-old daughter, Frankie, to the Society of MSK's Bunny Hop in New York City. While the Santa Clarita Diet star, who we've been obsessed with since the '90s, posed for photos with her little one on the red carpet, we couldn't help but notice how much Frankie looks like her famous mom. Since Drew grew up in the spotlight after her breakout role as Gertie in 1982's E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, there are plenty of photos of the star as a young girl to look back on. Between their beautiful eyes and their little button noses, Drew and Frankie look so much alike (and we love it so much).

Doctor Mom Saves Her Own Son's Life After He Collapses on the Soccer Field
When your child suffers an injury, your maternal instincts kick into high gear and you run to see what you can do. But when Gina Agredano's 16-year-old son collapsed on the soccer field and went into cardiac arrest mid game, not only did her maternal instincts go into overdrive, but her work as a physician helped to save her son's life.
Jose Agredano Jr. was playing in his final junior varsity soccer game of the season in Hollister, CA, when he was hit in the chest with the ball and fell to the ground. His mother was there immediately to save his life. "I wasn't ready to lose him," Gina told Today. "I think as a mother, it was the hardest thing I've had to do in my life."
They later found out that Jose was hit in the heart, throwing it "into an abnormal rhythm, and the only way to recover is CPR and electrical shock." They immediately called 911, but the second Gina saw her son stop breathing she said "it was game on," explaining that she kept telling herself he was not going to die.
"All of those emotions just stopped, and it was like a surge of adrenaline, this fight-or-flight-type thing, that my son's not going to die," she said. "That took over."
You never know what you're capable of until you're in a situation when your child's life is in question, and Gina did all the right things to save her child's life. "I always have seen her as a hero and an amazing person," Jose said about his mom. He explained that after she saved him, "I looked at her a little brighter. She's a giver and she's really smart and she doesn't give up."
Gina told the Stanford Children's Hospital that her knowledge of CPR and understanding of when it should be administered is what truly saved his life.

Don't Tell Filch, but These Harry Potter Stars Just Went Into the Forbidden Forest
One of the best things the Harry Potter franchise has given us (in addition to wonderful quotes, crazy theories, and Harry Potter weekends on Freeform) is the amount of nostalgic reunions between the film's many stars. Evanna Lynch, Jason Isaacs, and James and Oliver Phelps (aka Luna Lovegood, Lucius Malfoy, and the Weasley twins) stopped by the Warner Bros. Studio Tour's new Forbidden Forest expansion in Watford, England, on Wednesday. Since it doesn't open to the public until March 31, the group got a special preview of Buckbeak the hippogriff, Aragog the giant (terrifying) spider, and more. Maybe they coordinated their hangout in the Harry Potter group chat?
Hillary Clinton's Powerful Red Pantsuit Was No Accident
Hillary Clinton pays careful attention to the color of her pantsuits. She wore purple the day she delivered her concession speech to signify unity between the Democratic and Republican parties and a white Ralph Lauren suit on Inauguration Day to pay homage to women suffragists.
For a special Girls Inc. luncheon, Hillary chose a bright red pantsuit. Not only was red the color of the organization, but it also honored the Day Without a Woman initiative. Red is the color women are encouraged to wear to signify solidarity for International Women's Day.
As she gave a speech about empowering girls, Hillary looked both confident and spirited. She even styled a rainbow button-down underneath her suit, which painted the picture of diversity and inclusion of all groups. Read on to see Hillary Clinton's powerful pantsuit.
The 37 Commandments of Dressing Like a New Yorker
You'd be hard-pressed to find a New Yorker who only wears black. As far as we're concerned, that's an ill-founded fashion rule made to be broken. But there is something the most stylish ladies of NYC have in common - when they get dressed in the morning, their looks are refined and polished.
When New Yorkers step out of their apartments, they do it with confidence, traveling from point A to point B without missing a step - even when they're wearing heels. The best part? Their outfits are incredibly easy to re-create. Even if you don't live in the Big Apple, you can totally dress like you do when you follow the 37 style rules ahead.
Dad Explains Why a Toddler Having a Tantrum Is Actually a Sign of Good Parenting
We've all heard it in some capacity before (and maybe we've even been guilty of saying it ourselves) when a child is having a meltdown in public: "That parent needs to control their kids." As a parent, though, you know that's so much easier said than done. After dealing with his own toddler's tantrum at a Red Robin, one dad is sharing his opinion on public kiddo meltdowns.
"I'm stuck in the van with my toddler," starts Clint Edwards in a post to his blog's Facebook page. "We went out to dinner as a family, and she had a meltdown because mom wouldn't let her throw chicken strips. So she screamed, and screamed, and kicked and kicked, and since I was the only one finished with my meal, I had the pleasure of dragging her out of Red Robin."
The frustrated dad continues, sharing that as he carried her out, everyone he passed - mostly childless people, he assumed - stared at him with that "look that seems to say, 'If you can't control your kid, then don't go out.'"
"Well," he wrote. "No. I can't control her. She's 2 and it's going to take years to teach her how to act appropriately in public, and the only way I am ever going to teach that is to take her out and show her what's right and wrong. By saying no a million times, letting her throw a fit, and telling her no again."
The dad's post continues, emphasizing how difficult it can be to parent in these awkward situations, but that it's a process everyone's own parents had to go through with them at one point in time as well.
These lessons take patience, hard work, and real world experiences, and I'm sorry to those at the bar who got irritated by my child's fit, but you are part of this practice. Your parents did the same with you, and that's how you now know how to recognize when a child does something irritating in a restaurant. It's how you learned to look at a situation and say, "That parent needs to control their kids."
It's how you learned to be a respectable person.
Clint wraps up his post with empathy and understanding, but also drives his point home. "I get it. Kids are irritating when they are loud in a restaurant. I know. I'm living it," he wrote. "But before you get angry and judgmental, realize that what you are witnessing is not bad parenting, but rather, parents working hard to fix the situation. You are looking at what it takes to turn a child into a person."
How to Keep Lemons Fresh For up to 3 Months
This tip for storing lemons is so easy. Accoring to Food.com, if you refrigerate lemons in a bowl of water, they will keep for up to three months! It sounds insane, but I'd be willing to give it a try. And if you want to extend the life of a lemon even futher, freeze the zest and the juice separately.

It Only Got Worse For 3 Breastfeeding Moms at IHOP After Police Were Called
On International Pancake Day, Tiara Wilson and some fellow mom friends decided to stop by IHOP. As the ladies were enjoying themselves, a family walked in and sat down next to them. The women didn't think much of it, but when three of the moms started breastfeeding their babies, the father at the next table took note of them.
The man started taking photos of the moms feeding their babies while calling attention to these women. "He decided to make disgusting faces and snarky little remarks to his family," Tiara shared on Facebook. "Then his family decided to take photos and decided that they would sit there the whole time and mean mug and again make nasty faces as everyone FED their babies."
One of the women alerted the restaurant's manager, who in turn called the police over the customer who refused to stop taking pictures. When the family then tried to leave in order to avoid the police, the manager refused to give them their check and made them wait until the officers arrived.
However, things only got worse once the police arrived. "The Aurora Police Department COPD said: 'GO TO THE BATHROOM or USE A COVER, if you don't want to be bothered or have pictures snapped while feeding,'" Tiara posted.
One of the women began to cry out of frustration, but this man's response left Tiara more infuriated than anything else:
How is this OK? Why is it that we are still shaming mothers for feeding openly? Why do we have to go to the bathroom to feed our littles? Do you eat your food in the bathroom? No. Are you eating under a blanket? No. DO NOT TELL A MOTHER that she needs to go to the bathroom during an outing with friends to feed her little one. I am just in true disbelief that people still think it's okay to have a mother feeding in a place where we use the bathroom. How is that even sanitary?
Signed,
ONE PISSED OFF AND ANGRY MOTHER.
The Aurora Police Department wrote on Facebook that they are investigating the situation as it has been brought to the Chief of Police's attention and that they take Tiara's complaint "very seriously."
How Your Favorite Celebrities Are Celebrating International Women's Day
Some of your favorite celebrities have already started celebrating International Women's Day, a global holiday that seeks to honor all the achievements of women and take a stand for gender equality. Emma Watson, who plays bookworm Belle in Beauty and the Beast, hid feminist books in NYC, while Adele quoted Canadian politician Charlotte Whitton on Twitter. Following the overwhelming success of the Women's March in January, the same organization has also called for women to participate in A Day Without a Woman by taking time off work, attending rallies, wearing red in solidarity, and supporting small businesses owned by women or minorities. People Stop Alec Baldwin on the Street to Thank Him For His Trump Impression
James Corden brought two of Hollywood's most politically vocal actors, Kerry Washington and Alec Baldwin, to The Late Late Show on Tuesday night, and they didn't waste any time ripping into the president. "Well it used to be that on our show we did shocking storylines . . . but we're like Little House on the Prairie compared to this administration," the Scandal actress joked, adding that "If you don't laugh, you'll cry." Luckily Alec's spot-on Donald Trump impression on Saturday Night Live has been keeping plenty of people laughing throughout the last few months.
After mentioning that people stop him on the street to thank him for the impression, the late-night host showed Alec a photo of him and the president at a charity gala years earlier. "He was a different person," Alec said. "He was very gregarious, and kind of backslapping and social. I didn't know him well, I would run into him. He's not at all like he is now. He won the election, he's president of the United States, but he still looks incredibly constipated." Only time will tell if this is enough to ignite another Twitter feud between Alec and the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air guest star.

Gigi Hadid Shot These Steamy Versace Pics of Zayn
Following the announcement that Zayn Malik would be collaborating with Versus Versace on a capsule collection dropping in June, the singer shared a mysterious sneak peek of his upcoming campaign. While there might be more to the cryptic video he posted to Instagram, the accompanying shots with model Adwoa Aboah are here. They were all photographed by Zayn's girlfriend Gigi Hadid at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.
"It was sick to work with Versus. Dontella is a G. It was extra special that Gigi shot the campaign. Looking forward to following up with my Versus collection that drops in June," Zayn said in a brand statement.
According to Donatella Versace, Zayn was tapped for this opportunity partly due to his relationship with Gigi, so it makes sense that the supermodel is involved. Describing the moment she knew it would be a great fit, Donatella said, "When I saw him with Gigi. The way he treats Gigi, like a gentleman: You don't see this anymore." Ahead, get a first look at the highly anticipated campaign.

- "But the biggest beauty advice I've given my daughter is every morning I say, 'Genesis, what are the two best parts of you?' And she says 'my brain and my heart.' And I say, 'You've gotta remember that, Genesis. You've gotta remember that you're not what you look like,' you know? I think that's the best beauty advice I could give her."

- "Is it just a trend to talk about inclusion (and I'd rather say inclusion than diversity)? Or is it going to be a norm? That we understand that we're all a part of the narrative, that all of our stories deserve to be told?"

Mom Gives Her Daughter's Disney Princess Book a Seriously Awesome Feminist Makeover
Danielle Lindemann thought that as a sociologist who studies gender roles she was pretty attuned to gender stereotypes, but having a daughter of her own "cranked that awareness up to a whole new level." When she came across one of her daughter's favorite Disney princess books, she decided to give it a bit of a feminist makeover to teach her nearly 3-year-old daughter some important lessons.
"The constant inundation with princess stuff drives me crazy," Danielle, a professor of sociology at Lehigh University, told POPSUGAR Moms. "Because it's basically teaching these little girls that their worth lies in looking nice and hooking up with the right guy. Still. In 2016." When her daughter received the princess book as a gift, this feeling drove Danielle to add little comments onto each page to make it a bit more badass.
"My daughter wanted to read it over and over, so to prevent my eyes from rolling permanently into the back of my head, I decided to make a few edits. It's weird because I expected my daughter to react to the edits, but she sort of just rolled with them. Maybe the new narrative seemed natural to her. Why wouldn't Cinderella have sparkly shoes and also be a neurosurgeon?
Of course, of all the gender-related problems in the world, the representation of princesses in children's books is not high on the list, but it is a symptom of a larger culture that's telling girls and women what their worth is (or isn't)."
