This "About to Hatch" Baby Shower Is Definitely Something to Tweet About!

What happens when you combine three major trends for a Spring baby shower? You get one memorable celebration!

For this Spring party, Jenn Sbranti of Hostess With the Mostess worked with geometric elements, a bird motif, and colorblock decor to create an "About to Hatch" affair. For her modern twist on the traditional bird baby shower theme, Jenn started with a set of coral and teal hexagonal shower curtains she came across at Target. After transforming her first source of inspiration into graphic table runners, she got to work on an array of budget-friendly DIY details.

"My go-to styling methods of yarn-wrapping and color-blocking definitely played a key role in the decor for this party, from the dressed-up bird houses and 'balloon-dipped' wooden eggs to the embellished marquee lights and candle holder 'riser,'" Jenn wrote. In addition to the DIY painted wreath bird nest backdrop, the dessert table was filled with an array of "Tweet" treats and a contemporary fondant cake. Check out all of the colorful details soaring throughout this creative party!

10 Aluminum-Free Deodorants That Actually Keep You Stink Free

You can't talk about natural deodorants without a quick lesson in B.O. 101. First you need to know the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant. An antiperspirant has chemicals like aluminum to stop sweating altogether. The aluminum salts plug the sweat glands, preventing perspiration. On the other hand, a deodorant masks and neutralizes odor. But where does the stink come from in the first place? When the glands in your armpits emit sweat, the liquid interacts with the bacteria in the area to emit unsavory smells.

Natural deodorants use essential oils like tea tree and witch hazel to curb the bacteria. Some also have other less harmful minerals like zinc ricinoleate and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to keep the underarm area dry without stopping sweat altogether. In addition to getting rid of aluminum, most are also paraben free and safe for sensitive skin. If you're thinking about giving up antiperspirant, start with these 10 formulas that actually keep the stink at bay.

The Perfect Nap Length (and Why You Need a Nap Daily)

Let's face it: napping is awesome! Anyone who tells you otherwise is simply not someone you need in your life. Napping, however, you most definitely do need in your life. You love it, we love it, and there are many scientific reasons why your body needs it, too! But not all naps are equal. Are you the long napper? Do you take little catnaps? Do you wake up feeling more tired than when you fell asleep? Are your naps planned or are you the spontaneous snoozer? Here's your guide to why you need to nap and the best scenario for the most restful nap of your life.

Why You Need to Nap

How much sleep do you get at night? A CDC study found that more than 40 million workers get fewer than six hours a night, in spite of a National Sleep Foundation report that indicates that we all need between seven and nine hours a night. Needless to say, coming up that light on your sleep needs makes naps a necessity to just catch up on rest and be able to get through all the tasks we have on our schedules on a daily basis. If you reach for sugar in the afternoon to stave off the Zs, then you're also a person who could use a nap - and better nutrition!

Science Says You Should Nap

A recent study published in the Journal of Sleep Research found that very short naps improve cognitive alertness and mental capacity. These could be as short as a few minutes or up to 10 minutes of solid shut-eye. Researchers at Clinical Neurophysiology found that a 20-minute nap in the midafternoon could mean the difference between you being at your best for the remainder of the day or not. Another study published by Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences echoed the same findings about the 20-minute power nap. Yet another study done at Berkeley discovered that getting a solid hour of quality sleep exponentially increases and improves brain function. That makes you a better student, worker, or just a better person in general with an amazing short-term memory to boot!

How Long Should You Nap?

It's obvious there are benefits to napping, but how long should you really be dozing for? The above listed research indicates the benefit of short naps from minutes to an hour, but how long is the best nap? Research published in The Archives of Internal Medicine studied more than 20,000 Greek men and women between ages 20 and 86 and found that the best napping length was 30 minutes. Not convinced? Study participants found that people who took at least three naps of this length per week had a more than 30 percent lowered risk of death via coronary episodes, especially women!

John Says "It Was My Job" to Support Chrissy During Her Postpartum Depression

The one thing John Legend might take more seriously than his music career is his role as a loving husband and father. Chrissy Teigen recently opened up about her battle with postpartum depression in the April issue of Glamour, and John has been by her side every step of the way. "For me as a husband, it was my job to do the best I could to support her and understand what she was going through and do whatever I could do to help her. I feel like that's the least I could do," he told People at the Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo Stylists Dinner in LA on Tuesday. "[As a man] you don't know internally what it feels like. You should read about it and understand what it is and really just be there to help. You need to be present and you need to be compassionate. And we're all learning and trying to figure it out as we go. At least do that and try to figure it out together."

In Chrissy's raw essay, she revealed why she waited to share her struggle, and no one was prouder than John. "I'm glad she wrote about it. I think it was powerful for her to let a lot of women know they're not alone, and no matter how much money you have or fame, anybody can feel that. And it's hard for anybody no matter how successful you are and how many resources you have."

The Cast of This Is Us Celebrates the Show's Season Finale as a Family

Tuesday marked the season finale of This Is Us, and the cast celebrated the only way they know how: as a family. Mandy Moore and Milo Ventimiglia showed up to the LA screening dressed to the nines, while Chrissy Metz was all smiles on the red carpet. Justin Hartley attended without fiancée Chrishell Stause, and Susan Kelechi Watson kept things sexy in a sheer top. Missing from the fun was Sterling K. Brown, though he did share photos from the episode on Twitter, writing, "Tonight's finale of #ThisIsUs will most likely require tissues, but that's okay because @trialanderror premieres right after and it's 😂😂😂." We're definitely going to miss them, but thankfully, they'll be back in the Fall.

6 Irish TV Shows to Binge-Watch This St. Patrick's Day

When I was growing up, St. Patrick's Day always inspired a mix of emotions in my house. On the one hand, America's take on St. Patrick's Day always struck us as kind of weird and comical (seriously, lads, where did you come up with the whole "top of the morning" thing?). But on the other hand, March 17 inspired an annual bout of homesickness for the country my parents had left - and that I'd always considered my second home. Ever reluctant to assimilate (at least within the privacy of their own home), my parents would stock up on Irish bacon and Barry's tea bags and blast the RTÉ (Raidió Teilifís Éireann) morning show on our kitchen speakers.

While it helped, nothing could compare to the therapeutic value of television. Irish wit and sentimentality translate pretty well onto the small screen, and curling up on the couch watching Father Ted never failed to make us feel like we were back home again, at least for a little while. So without further ado, allow me to introduce six streamable TV series that will provide you with an authentic Irish experience this St. Patrick's Day. Lá fhéile Pádraig sona dhuit!

Nina Dobrev Stuns at a Stylish Event After The Vampire Diaries Finale

Katherine Pierce may be gone forever, but Nina Dobrev is alive and well. On Tuesday, the actress attended The Hollywood Reporter and Jimmy Choo Stylists Dinner in LA. Clad in an all-black outfit complete with a bold red lip, Nina appeared to be in good spirits as she posed for pictures and chatted with Ireland Baldwin and James Marsden. Now that The Vampire Diaries has come to an end, Nina might have more time on her hands. The series finale went down on Friday night, and the cast took to Instagram to say their emotional final goodbyes. Nina shared a series of throwback photos, while Ian Somerhalder thanked the show's fans. Even though we're still trying to deal with the fact that TVD is officially over, these photos will definitely help soften the blow.

Oh Snap! Camila Cabello Replaced Britney Spears in Pitbull's New Hit Song

Apparently Pitbull had some second thoughts when he initially chose Britney Spears to collaborate on his new song, "Hey Ma," for the Fate of the Furious soundtrack. In a recent interview with Radio.com, Mr. Worldwide revealed how the original track featured Britney Spears and bachata singer Romeo Santos but that the movie franchise ended up bringing the former Fifth Harmony member, Camila Cabello, and J Balvin into the picture to rerecord the song. He also opened up about how Spears really felt about the whole situation - and it was surprisingly positive!

"She's just a great sport. She understands," he said in the interview. "She said, 'No, don't even worry about that; we can use it for either the remix or we can just do another record together.'" Spears fans, rejoice! There may be a Pitbull-Britney collab on the horizon after all. Watch the video above to see what else Mr. 305 has to say about the soundtrack.

Tom Hiddleston Has Never Looked Better Than He Does in Kong

The reviews for Kong: Skull Island are in, and so far they're glowing. The movie is being praised for its action-packed plot, the crazy post-credits scene, and King Kong in all of his massive, CGI glory, but there's one thing I have yet to see get the attention it deserves: Tom Hiddleston's t-shirt.

As tracker James Conrad, he spends much of the movie kneeling down to examine broken underbrush, eluding King Kong, and rolling through the dirt to escape giant, underground lizard monsters who want to rip him limb from limb. In other words, a typical day at the office. But his greatest asset is not his gun. It's not even the Samurai sword he uses to slice his way through a flock of razor-beaked birds. It's his plain, gloriously tight, gray-blue t-shirt. To put it simply, he looks good as hell. Possibly better than he does in a suit, which is really saying something.

I don't know how it magically stays perfectly tucked in, or what exactly it is about it that has inspired this obsession, but as a reward for you taking the time to read about this important, high-priority matter, please enjoy the next 17 photos of him and his t-shirt in action.

Desperate Housewives might have ended four years ago, but when Eva Longoria posted a wine-related meme of Gabrielle Solis on her Instagram, all our treasured memories of incredible quotes spoken by the hilarious character came flashing back. So, in honor of some of her best work - aside from all the Telenovela gems we've got recently, of course - we've compiled 15 Gabrielle quotes you are probably still using, too. Enjoy!

12 Reasons You Should Start Shipping Jughead and Betty on Riverdale

We are quickly growing more and more obsessed with The CW's Riverdale. We love the music and juicy drama, but we can't get enough of all the romances. While we originally liked Betty (Lili Reinhart) with heartthrob Archie (KJ Apa), we're slowly starting to realize that Jughead (Cole Sprouse) is a far better match. Even though he was confirmed to be asexual in the comic books, we can't help but swoon over Sprouse and Reinhart's amazing onscreen chemistry - and we're not the only ones shipping these two either! The internet has already come up with a couple name: Bughead.

12 TV Shows That Can Fill That This Is Us-Shaped Hole in Your Heart

The This Is Us season finale is this week, and after it wraps up, we'll cry as many tears as we do during the show, since it'll be gone for so long (well, until the Fall, anyway - here's what we know about season two). But there's no need to despair - or at least, no need to complain that there's nothing to watch. I've picked out 12 perfect shows to binge if you've fallen madly in love with every member of the Pearson family (or if you're just addicted to its emotional highs and lows). With a coconut milk base, this smoothie-like blend adds vanilla, ginger, and cinnamon for rich flavor (and a little black pepper to make the active curumin bioavailable!). And thanks to the addition of a little orange, mango, and pineapple, this immunity-boosting, mood-enhancing, anti-inflammatory blend gets the added deliciousness of tropical fruit and the debloating powers of pineapple. According to the press release, "this juice provides 50 percent of the daily value of vitamin A per 11-ounce bottle."

We got the chance to try it in the office, and we love this smoothie-like take on our beloved golden milk. It was fresh, light, not too sweet, and in our opinion, definitely worth picking up on the go.

It's also exciting to note that this "Superfood" blend is totally vegan with zero added sugar - all the sweetness comes from the fruit. While we await this tropical twist on a turmeric tonic, we'll be experimenting with turmeric milk at home.

Every year, I put on my finest sweatpants and prepare for one of the greatest nights of the year: the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Like the rest of the world, I sit there with my jaw dropped (occasionally closing it for obvious popcorn-chewing reasons), mesmerized by the models' mile-long legs and sculpted-to-perfection abs. How is it possible for these women to look so damn good?! Well, let me be the first to tell you that what they do to look so good is not easy, and I would know. I was given the opportunity to train with Michael Olajide Jr., cofounder of Aerospace High Performance Center in New York City and the trainer responsible for some of the sick bodies we see on the runway.

Going into this, I considered myself relatively fit. I played sports consistently growing up, and as a 20-something now, I work out three to four times a week doing mostly cardio. But the workout at Aerospace, which the website describes as "the most savage and serene fitness experience on the planet," was the complete opposite of everything my body was used to. The machine-free fitness experience was fast-paced, engaging, and tough. The only downside? I didn't leave the hour-long gym session magically transformed into Adriana Lima. Whatevs.

Luckily for me, I was able to get a taste of a few of the Aero workouts that the gym offers, aka workouts leading to a whole lot of soreness the next day and the realization that my habitual hour-long elliptical workouts don't even begin to work all the muscle groups I should be working. The gym offers five different workouts: Aerobox, a full-body boxing workout; Aerojump, a jump-rope-focused workout; Aerosculpt, a full-body toning workout; Aeroimpact, a contact boxing or kickboxing workout; and Yoaero, a yoga workout. You can opt for 60-minute sessions of each class or combine to classes together, doing a 30-minute sessions of each.

After warming up with jumping jacks and twisting movements that somehow already had me sweating, we were ready to take on the first challenge, Aerojump mixed with Aerosculpt moves. Aerojump is basically your elementary school recess jump rope session, except incredibly more intense, and instead of the teachers enjoying their time to mingle, we had Michael pushing our limits and challenging our speed with The Rainmaker, the gym's own jump rope. Not trying to get graphic here, but let's just say my sweat was making it rain, so I understand the name. After the jumping and the sculpting exercises with glide disks, my legs were loosened up and my quads - well, they were burning.

Going into this workout, I was so excited to box. The second Michael took out a pair of pink gloves, I was ecstatic. So much for preconceived notions, because nothing about this routine was cute. I wrapped up my hands, put on my now-not-so-adorable pink gloves, and put my fists up with a vengeance. We started with straight left, right punch combinations, eventually moving faster, then moving into sets of uppercuts and jabs at "fight speed." I felt like a badass . . . until I couldn't really lift my arms anymore. My daily pre-elliptical three-pound dumbbell weight routine was not helping me here. The pace of the workout combined with Michael's unwavering excitement just encouraged me to move as fast and as intensely as I could.

Then, it was time to work my abs. Unlike other toning exercises I'd done in the past, Michael uses his own body to work the client's abs. He calls it "handcrafting," and if you've seen Adriana's abs, those bad boys are absolutely handcrafted. Lower abs have been a unattainable goal of mine since high school, but Michael swears by his technique, doing what weights and machines aren't able to do. Confused? Intrigued? Here's how it works: by laying down flat on my back with my core tightened, I raised my legs up and down with Michael pushing down, resisting the curl, and pushing back on my legs.

At the end of the workout, I was out of breath and sweating, but it was during the final stretch where I had to take a moment to give those Angels a moment of my appreciation. The next time you think "maybe she's born with it" when you see a Victoria's Secret model, just know that it takes a LOT of work, stamina, and determination to keep up with their intense workouts.

Is This "Shocking" Workout the Next Fitness Craze?

s

Can you imagine getting the effects of a three-hour workout in only 20 minutes? It very well might be possible. A new wave of fitness is making its way west from London, and it's called EMS training. Have you heard of it? Seen it on Instagram? It's still so new in the States that not many people in the US have tried it yet. We're going to give you the rundown of this training style that claims to be the future of fitness.

What Is It?

EMS stands for electrical muscle stimulation; in training, a machine delivers electrical pulses that stimulate muscle contraction. If you're thinking, "But wait, electrical impulses in the body already stimulate muscular contraction. It's called action potential!" then congrats - you aced physiology! And you are correct. But EMS heightens those contractions, intensifying your workout in a way that your body could not on its own.

"Every day our brain sends electrical impulses to muscles to achieve movement. EMS uses the same natural principle to stimulate your muscles," said Jose Luis Zamorano, founder of SF-based EMS training facility METAFITclub.

It makes your exercise even more challenging and can help you burn more calories. A Wall Street Journal reporter said it made her four-pound weights feel like 20 pounds.

How Does It Work?

You strap yourself into a device - connected to an EMS machine - that places electrodes all over your body on different muscle groups. These electrode pads are placed on the bulkiest part of your muscle and typically secured by velcro straps (sometimes you wear a vest).

"Our device comprises of a special suit equipped with 10 electrode pairs matched with a comfortable and breathable material that allows a freedom in exercise," said Zamorono. "A vest and a pair of shorts made of light and strong fabric are the heart and soul of the our devices." He also mentioned that they're not like sweaty, gross gym rental equipment - they're made of "antibacterial, easy-to-clean, and breathable fabric."

Once you're all hooked up, a trainer guides you through a workout that is tailored to your body, and the pulses start firing up your muscles. "Paired with a certified personal trainer and EMS device, the client begins with simple gymnastics and strengthening exercises," Zamorano told POPSUGAR. The workouts can be as short as 20 minutes, but they claim to be as effective as a three-hour session.

"This begins the process of muscle development and fat burning, which is up to 10 times more efficient than working out manually," which essentially means you can get a better workout with less exertion. "As all muscle groups are exercised at the same time, the average length of a workout session is reduced to one-sixth," said Zamorano.

After an ultraintense workout, the electrode pads go into "massage mode" for your cooldown, so you can recover quickly and reap the benefits of your training session.

"The stimulation of 350 muscles combined with active exercise obtains outstanding results," Zamorano told us. "No other training method exercises all the body's muscle groups as effectively. This combination makes our technology a unique and highly effective training method, allowing you to reach your fitness goals in just two 20-minute sessions per week."

Is It Safe?

EMS reportedly does not hurt, and anyone can do it, regardless of skill level. Bulletproof founder Dave Asprey told The Fashion Spot, "There's definitely a strong feeling, but it's not really pain. It's tingly."

This is a "don't try this at home" scenario, according to some governments (including ours). In 2009, the FDA warned about muscle stimulators that claim "girth reduction, loss of inches, weight reduction, cellulite removal, bust development, body shaping and contouring, and spot reducing," saying that they're "misbranded," and said, "There are currently no acceptable uses for these devices when labeled for over the counter use." The Health Ministry in Israel had similar sentiments and warns against the use of EMS at home or in the gym, warning that the equipment should only be used by "doctors and physiotherapists for diagnosis of medical problems and rehabilitation."

Speaking of those over-the-counter spot-reducers, Zamorano said this is not the same kind of technology. "Our electric muscle stimulation method combined with active exercise helps muscle development and toning, and is NOT to be confused with the beauty treatment, commonly applied in a lying position with no activity."

Because this kind of muscular stimulation has been used in physical therapy treatments for years, and EMS training (when done correctly) is done with a professional machine and trainer, it's likely safe to try, but as always before you try anything new with your body, check in with your doctor.

Everyone Will Double Tap on Your Festival Photos If You Rock This Bold Makeup Look

Jennifer Garner Emerges in LA After Ben Affleck Rehab News

Jennifer Garner was spotted leaving a nail salon in LA on Tuesday afternoon. The actress kept things casual in jeans and sandals as she made her way back to her car. That same day, Ben Affleck revealed in a Facebook statement that he recently completed a stint in rehab. "I have completed treatment for alcohol addiction. . . . I want my kids to know there is no shame in getting help when you need it, and to be a source of strength for anyone out there who needs help but is afraid to take the first step," he explained. "I'm lucky to have the love of my family and friends, including my co-parent, Jen, who has supported me and cared for our kids as I've done the work I set out to do."

Ben and Jen announced their split back in June 2015, and most recently, it was reported that the actress is still considering a permanent breakup and plans to move forward when the time is right. Meanwhile, another source stated that the estranged couple is holding off on divorce papers because their current family dynamic is working so well.

Beauty and the Beast: The Actors Behind All the Talking Items

Emma Watson is the marquee star of Beauty and the Beast, but she's not the only big name in the cast. While you do see them at the beginning and (spoiler alert) at the end of the film, the staff members at the Beast's mansion are swiftly turned into household objects. That means that we only get to hear these A-listers speaking though clocks, candelabras, and teapots for the majority of the runtime. Before you go see the film, get acquainted with everyone who you'll be hearing!
