On a trip to Burger King with her kids, Kendall Gerling was watching her daughter, Charlie, play in the indoor jungle gym when she noticed that Charlie wanted to play a little more "freely."

According to Esquire UK, the monarch is a pretty impressive day drinker, so much so that by UK government standards she's technically a binge-drinker (same, to be honest).
She gets started right before lunch, enjoying a gin and Dubonnet (a wine-based liqueur) with lemon and lots of ice, then a glass of wine with her meal. A few hours later, she has a dry martini, followed by a glass of Champagne in the evening (there are eight different Champagne producers at the palace including Bollinger, Krug, Lanson, and Pol Roger, which was also served at William and Kate's wedding).
Now, size-wise, Elizabeth's intake is the equivalent of six drinks per day and 42 drinks per week (assuming she doesn't go crazy on the weekends), though the Queen's government recommends 14 drinks a week as a healthy measure of alcohol consumption. What can she say? She has a monarchy to run.

We've learned quite a bit about Kate Middleton since she officially joined the royal family in 2011, and getting to see her many milestones as the Duchess of Cambridge has been a real delight. Even though her new life as a duchess has afforded her the same opulent jewels, lavish living quarters, and frequent public appearances as everyone else, there's one thing Kate has that none of the other women in the family do: a college education.
When Kate and William met in 2001, they were both students at University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland. They graduated in 2005, William with a master's in geography and Kate with a master's degree (with honors) in art history - making her the UK's first royal bride with a university degree. If Kate becomes queen, she will also be the first ever to have attended college.

Is Emma Watson Really Singing in Beauty and the Beast?
Even before Disney's live-action Beauty and the Beast hit theaters, we were spoiled with every trailer, poster, and song under the sun. We've been treated to plenty of chill-inducing trailers, plus gorgeous pictures galore and a treasure trove of details. Months before the releas, we got our first listen to Emma Watson's singing voice. In situations like this, we know people will still ask whether or not Watson is actually singing. So, well, is she? We did a little digging and we have exciting news.
The short answer is yes, that really is Emma Watson singing. The actress opened up about the "terrifying" experience during a print interview with Total Film. "I sing, so that's really unexpected," she said. "I've never had to do that for a film role before, and I think people will be interested to see me do something very different like that . . . It gives me a different challenge, really." Disney corroborated the fact when they tweeted the aforementioned clip, a snippet from "Something There," saying explicitly that she's singing.

But wait, there's more! Not only is Watson using her voice for the movie, but her live vocals are used in several of the various numbers. In a separate interview with Collider, Luke Evans shared a fun tidbit about the musical process. "We pre-recorded every [song], but some of us sang live on set as well, during the takes," he revealed. "We were mic'd, and they recorded that, and I think afterwards, in sound, they'll be able to chose whether the live version is better than the pre-recorded version." So there you have it. In addition to all her other magical skills, Emma Watson sings. You can even hear her on the soundtrack!

11 Things I Wish I'd Known Before I Got Invisalign
I'm 26 years old, and for years, every time I see a celebrity or a person crack open a mouth full of perfectly straight teeth, I can't help but feel envious and a little upset that my teeth don't look that way. Even after braces, my teeth have never been flawless. I'm plagued with an open bite. This means 20 out of 24 of my teeth have significant space between them, even when I bite down. A decade ago, orthodontists told me I would have to get a second round of braces and jaw surgery to fully correct the situation. I put it off for years, because worse than crooked teeth was the thought of having surgery and braces (again)!
However, this year, my orthodontist recommended an alternative treatment, Invisalign, that had a good chance of straightening my teeth and correcting my bite without surgery. Unlike braces, which use metal wires and brackets to straighten teeth, Invisalign moves teeth with a series of custom-made aligners (aka retainers) made from clear plastic, so they are far less noticeable than braces. I jumped on board right away, but I didn't do as much research as I probably should have. Though I'm only a month into my Invisalign program - and am really happy with the results so far! - here are some of the things I wish I'd known before I took the plunge.
- You might receive more attachments than you are expecting. Recent Invisalign procedures may include attachments, or enamel-colored ridges that stick to your teeth like braces brackets. These attachments click into the Invisalign aligners to help the teeth move more effectively. Without the aligners in, the attachment bumps are virtually invisible. But with the aligners in, it looks like you have clear braces. My orthodontist warned me that I would have two attachments, but I ended up with 20. So, most of the day, I look like I'm wearing braces.
- Recommended wear time is 22 hours. I don't know what I was thinking . . . I guess I figured I could leave the aligners at home when going to a party or out to dinner. But nope. I keep them in unless I'm eating, and I don't leave home without packing an aligner case along with a travel-size toothbrush.
- You may lose weight. Since the wear time is 22 hours, that leaves two hours to eat three meals a day. It's pretty ambitious, but I do my best to, because it really beats trying to pry the aligners off my teeth more than necessary. The aligners are supertight and especially hard to remove if teeth are sore. While you can always take the aligners out for snacks, I've found it's a pain to remove the aligners and rebrush the teeth more than three times a day. Despite my attempts to pack in the calories at each meal (I'll have a smoothie, omelet, and yogurt for breakfast, etc.), I still am hungry all the time. I lost a little weight my first month, but I've returned to my normal weight after introducing a protein smoothie to every meal.
- Kiss lipstick goodbye. Colored lip gloss and lipsticks are a thing of the past. They easily stick to the aligners and the attachments. Clear lip balm and gloss are OK, but they can sometimes leave a waxy residue on the aligners. These days, I'm all about applying dramatic eye makeup to draw attention away from my mouth.
- No more manicures. The aligners are nearly impossible to remove without the help of your nails, so unless you're OK with chipped nails, stick to buffing your digits over painting them.
- Kissing is awkward. Yep, there is no avoiding the giant plastic device all up and around your mouth, and it's definitely a mojo quencher. Some people on the Internet claim Invisalign killed their love life, but I think that's a little extreme. It helps to have a significant other who is cool with your retainer mouth. It also helps to try to factor in some of those freebie minutes with your lover.
- You'll brush your teeth a dozen times a day. All right, maybe more like six, but it feels like a dozen. Plaque and food particles can get in the way of the teeth moving plus can lead to some seriously stanky breath and cavities. As a result, it's best to brush your teeth after eating anything. I use three different types of toothpaste and toothbrushes, since I have to stash them at home, at work, and in my purse. At home, I use Nimbus, a supersoft toothbrush, with Tom's of Maine Whole Care Toothpaste. At work, I use more aggressive products to get the teeth superclean and minty: Oral-B Pro-Health All-in-One Toothbrush (it's like a massage chair for your teeth and gums) and Arm & Hammer Advance White Toothpaste. Lastly, for my purse, I have a crummy, generic travel-size toothbrush (it gets the job done) with a travel-size version of Colgate Optic White Toothpaste. I floss with Oral-B Glide. I don't use mouthwash - the sweet residue sticks inside the aligners, and if it's blue, it could potentially stain the teeth.
- The attachments stain really easily. I have seen it so many times - my coffee- and tea-drinking friends who didn't stick to a regimented tooth brushing habit ended up staining their attachments. The practically invisible composite begins to look like orange corn kernel pieces stuck all over their teeth. Yuck! As a result, every cup of coffee or tea must be immediately followed by a teethbrushing.
- Cold water only. That being said, while wearing Invisalign, you can only drink cold water and maybe some clear sparkling water. Hot tea will stain and warp the aligners. Sugary and alcoholic drinks will lead to plaque buildup. I even attempted to test the waters with a glass of white wine, and it stained the aligners immediately. Darn!
- Whitening is not an option. Especially if you have attachments in place, whitening is not an option until the Invisalign treatment is complete. However, brushing your teeth often and avoiding stain-causing beverages will perk up your enamel a bit.
- There's a "refinement period." I thought I'd be done after 40 trays, until my sister said, "Oh no, honey. After that, you'll have a set of refinement aligners to fix any stubborn teeth." So basically, after the initial set of aligners are complete, Invisalign will create another set of refinement aligners to correct any slightly off teeth. Ugh, so my treatment has no foreseeable end in sight.
Despite all the cons, I'm committed to seeing the treatment out, even if it takes a few years. I've already noticed a difference in my bite (I can chew with six molars now! Woo!), and my teeth have definitely started to straighten. I've gotten over being self-conscious about my Invisalign, and I smile bigger than ever, even with the aligners in. At the end of the day, I know I'm taking action toward having the perfect teeth I've always envied, and that feels like it's worth the sacrifices.
This Sheet-Pan Hack Will Change the Way You Make Scrambled Eggs
Allow me to introduce you to the latest breakfast hack that's going to make your life easier: sheet-pan eggs. When I first saw these rectangular eggs popping up on Pinterest, I was immediately intrigued; they're like muffin-tin eggs 2.0.
A little skeptical of how the eggs would taste (and how messy the process would be), I hesitantly set out to try the trend for myself. And after testing out the foolproof process, I can attest to its brilliance. Like a combination between scrambled eggs and a frittata, this sheet of eggs can be cut up into squares to meal prep breakfast for the week or to assemble breakfast sandwiches for a crowd. If you're already feeling on board with this unusual cooking method, read on for a breakdown of how to re-create it.
First, preheat your oven to 300°F. A half sheet pan works best, and a full dozen eggs fit perfectly. I tried filling the pan with six eggs at first, only to realize that all 12 would indeed fit. Whisk a dozen eggs with about a teaspoon of salt and a half teaspoon of pepper until smooth and frothy. Using a paper towel or napkin, make sure to grease the pan all over so the eggs don't have a chance to stick. I used ghee, as it's best for high-heat cooking, but you could also use standard cooking spray.
Pour the eggs on the sheet pan, allowing them to spread evenly. I love the combination of eggs and goat cheese, so I topped mine with four ounces of the cheese, dolloping it all over. You could opt for plain eggs or mix in a number of additions like chopped spinach, bell peppers, feta cheese, cooked bacon, cheddar, or chives. Bake the eggs for 15 minutes or until set; you want them to be fully cooked with no runny spots remaining.
Top the eggs with fresh parsley or chives for color and fresh flavor, if desired. From here, you can divvy up the eggs into squares to serve immediately or to store in the fridge for up to a week.

Imgur user SunshineGuardian posted on the picture-sharing site and explained how the child "just stared at me" as he sat next to his family of three on the plane. "I work as a pediatric technician for the air force so I'm pretty good with kids and can tell if something about them is different," he wrote in the post. The man went on to explain how the left side of the child's brain is "completely non-functioning." But that didn't stop them from enjoying their flight together.
"Me and my new bud listened to music (he really enjoyed Coure de Pirate, a French artist that I listen to) and communicated through pointing, gestures, and babbling," the man wrote. "All in all, it was an amazing flight." Plus, the stranger helped the boy's sister and mother communicate with the flight attendants, as they only spoke Spanish.
The new pals documented their budding friendship with an adorable selfie that went viral on Imgur, amassing more than 100,000 views and dozens of comments about their sweet interaction.

How to Clean Your Makeup Brushes With Household Ingredients
We all know that it's bad for us to use dirty makeup brushes on our skin - come on, you wash your face twice a day, but how often do you actually give your tools the same kind of love? If you've been skipping because you're worried about hurting your brushes, we've got an easy DIY way to clean them all up safely. And don't forget to find the makeup brush that's right for you too!
Ingredients:
Olive oil
Antibacterial soap
Steps:
Step 1: Mix two parts antibacterial dish soap to one part of the extra-virgin olive oil on a clean plate (don't use paper plate, as the oil will seep through).
Step 2: Grab your first brush and wet it slightly with lukewarm water. Make sure the brush stays bristle-side down throughout the entire process. If water gets into the ferrule (the middle tube part that holds everything together) of the brush, it can loosen the glue, causing the bristles to fall out.
Step 3: Dip the damp brush into the soap mixture and coat it thoroughly. Next, work the mixture into the bristles using the palm of your hand and fingers. Continue until the soapy residue is makeup free.
Step 4: Rinse the brushes under lukewarm water until no soap runs from the bristles.
Step 5: Roll a dish towel like you would a yoga mat, and drape a paper towel over it so that most of the paper towel hangs off. (The paper towel should look like a slide coming down from the dish towel). Next, arrange the brush so the top of the handle sits on top of the towel, pitching the rest of the brush down onto the paper towel. This will allow your brushes to dry on a slant, while keeping moisture away from the ferrule.
Repeat with remaining brushes. Some make take two washings to get completely clean, depending on the amount of residue left behind. Allow them to dry overnight, and repeat about once a month.

For as long as Kristy can remember, she's struggled with her body image. Once she became a mother, she knew that she never wanted her boy to have this same insecurity, but it wasn't until she caught him staring at his reflection one day that she started to feel like "the worst mom ever."

"Living proof that the way you treat and think of yourself can have an effect on your kids," she wrote. "Those little, innocent enough comments you make in passing are being noticed and are planting seeds in their heads."
Kristy now realizes how easy it is to find things about herself to criticize and how it's even easier to say these negative comments out loud, but for the sake of her child, she also knows that she needs to do better. "How dare I be the person that instills any insecurity into my kid when I'm supposed to be the one to protect him from that! When I put myself down, I'm letting my son down in the process and that is not okay," she wrote. "I am human so it's natural to make mistakes, but I am a mom so I have no choice but to learn from them and do better."

The Incredible Reason These Divorced Parents Carry on 1 Family Tradition
There's a major difference between the top two photos and the bottom photos in the above collage: the first two were taken when Adam and Victoria were married, while the other two were shot in the years following their divorce.

Hallelujah! It's Literally Raining Tequila Thanks to This Magical Cloud
It's raining tequila - well, at a Berlin art gallery it is. In a very convincing attempt to draw in tourists, the Mexico Tourism Board created an indoor cloud made of vaporized tequila that allows visitors to actually collect alcoholic raindrops.
The tourism board consulted with creative agency Lapiz on the tequila cloud. In an interview with The Huffington Post, Lapiz executive creative director Luciana Cani explained how the cloud works: "The tequila was pushed into an invisible plastic structure where sprays of tequila mixed with the vapor formed the cloud." She also said that the cloud is even meant to mimic local weather patterns.

More and more separated and divorced moms and dads are coming forward with examples of how coparenting should be done with an ex. One dad in the UK totally nailed it when he texted his ex to come over on his weekend with their two sons, as he'd made her a full English breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day.
The couple, which had only split up six weeks before, was likely still working through the kinks of coparenting, but this mom's ex, Zak, seems to be making it clear that he wants the best for her and their children regardless of their feelings toward each other. "This morning for the first time in 12 years I woke up on Mother's Day without my sons, as they were with their Dad," the mom wrote in a post to Imgur. "I was a touch emotional when my ex text me, told me to come to his at 11 a.m. I walked in to him cooking me this, flowers, chocolates, and a card."
However, this mom doesn't want everyone to think that acts of kindness like this one can only come from an ex you have an amicable relationship with. "Zak, I know you lurk on here and I also know you hate my guts right now," she wrote. "But you got over it to show our sons how to treat their Mum on Mother's Day."

James Blunt's latest album, The Afterlove, is full of tearjerkers, but "Courtney's Song" undoubtedly cuts the deepest. The track played during a tribute at the public memorial for Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher over the weekend, and Reynolds's son, Todd Fisher, said that it was "written for us." Speaking with Entertainment Tonight last week, Fisher revealed that his sister was good friends with James Blunt. "The last lyric in the song, it's a beautiful song, is, 'I'm here to let you know. I'm here to let you go.' And it's powerful," Todd said. "The simplicity of his songs is pretty amazing. It's not like its [got] complicated lyrics but something about how he strings all this together is beautiful."

We never cease to be amazed by the innovation when it comes to colorists and their rainbow hair creations. There's something about armpit hair on women that no matter how many times someone debuts it, she immediately faces criticism. The latest celebrity to take on the au naturel armpit style? Paris Jackson. The 18-year-old model took to her Instagram story to proudly show off what two months of growing out her armpit hair looks like and fire back with the perfect response to the hair haters.
"I didn't realize that people were going to get so upset over my armpit hair," she said in a video. "I didn't realize that was such an issue. It is so funny. People are really mad. I wish I could post some of the responses. You can just tell how angry and infuriated these people are."
She continued talking about how proud she was of the small amount of hair she grew in two months. "I love hair, and sweat, and BO. I fucking love it," she added. "I think it's great. Some people think that it's like super disgusting, especially on girls, but every human body does it. It's natural. Get over it."

Although we support her awesome attitude to laugh off the haters, it's pretty unfortunate that no matter how many times a public figure decides to grow out her armpit hair, she faces backlash. Just like Jemima Kirke and Miley Cyrus have embraced their natural armpit hair, we're happy to see that Paris is doing the same.
School Makes an Example of Kids' Lunches to Warn - and Shame - Parents
After school staff came across a variety of troublesome lunches, one principal is taking a stand and issuing a major warning to parents about taking their kids' health seriously.
Over the course of a few weeks, children were showing up at school with "worrying" packed lunches, including a cold McDonald's Happy Meal in one lunch bag and just four yogurts with a pack of candy in another. In order to prove his point, Jon Carthy, a principal at Byron Primary School in England, included these examples in a recent school newsletter.
"Whilst extreme and funny to read on paper, I must make this clear these are not acceptable examples of a balanced packed lunch," he wrote. "Children work very hard at school and a balanced meal at lunch time helps provide concentration for the afternoon."
The concerned principal also gave parents new guidelines for what they should pack for their child, including a portion of fruit and vegetables. "We have 525 children at the school and every single child took that letter home and it has been posted on the website," he told Kent Live. "I've only had positive comments back. Parents have said thank you and told me that someone needed to say this."

The Heartwarming Reason 1 Stranger Paid For a Single Mother's Meal at IHOP
When Suzanne Maughan and her daughter, Hayley, went out for pancakes at IHOP one morning, they ended up making a new friend - and getting a free breakfast.
During their breakfast, Suzanne noticed a woman sitting by herself at a nearby table, who kept glancing over and smiling at her and her daughter. When their meal arrived and Suzanne started helping Hayley cut up her pancakes, the stranger leaned over and said, "You must have the best mom in the whole world. Never forget how amazing she is," Suzanne explained in a post on the Love What Matters Facebook page.
The woman identified herself as Mary and said she has a 49-year-old daughter in Baltimore. "Throughout the meal, we would have little conversations, but mostly, she seemed to just be observing my relationship with my daughter and smiling at us," Suzanne wrote in the post.
When Suzanne went to pay for their breakfast, they had a surprise waiting for them: Mary had already covered the bill and left a sweet message for them on their receipt, which read, "Thank you for sharing your mother day and daughter day with me."
Suzanne went on to explain why Mary's random act of kindness had such a profound impact on her. "Mary doesn't know I'm a single mother of two," she wrote. "She doesn't know how difficult this week has been for me. She doesn't know my anxieties and insecurities and how much I pray to not feel so lonely." The single mom called Mary her "angel" and noted that she reminded her and Hayley "how loved [they] are."
Many people were so moved by Suzanne's sweet story, as they flooded her post with comments praising how both of these women had such a positive influence on each other.
