Santa Clarita Diet Gets a Season 2, and the Announcement Is Disgusting

While the critical response to Santa Clarita Diet has been mild to positive, audiences ate up season one faster than Drew Barrymore could devour a corpse. Though the first episodes were just released in February, we have already been wondering about a second season. As of March 29, it's official: Netflix has greenlit season two! Last month, creator Victor Fresco hinted to Entertainment Weekly that he's already thinking of directions to take the story: "With any family, crazy situations can be introduced any day, and the strength of the family will determine how they react to those situations, which is where we'll find our characters." Good to know! Check out the season two announcement.

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd Go on a PDA-Filled Bar Crawl in Argentina

If the Globetrotters need some alternates for their upcoming game, they might as well call up Selena Gomez and The Weeknd. The couple's whirlwind romance began in LA in January, and since then the inseparable pair have made out in Italy, packed on the PDA on a yacht in California, grabbed dinner in Paris, and cuddled on a walk through Toronto. Now, the high-flying couple can add Argentina to their list of date locations. With The Weeknd's concert in Buenos Aires coming up, he and Selena went on a mini bar crawl through the trendy neighborhood of Palermo on Tuesday evening. They reportedly watched a soccer game and shared a few kisses at a handful of bars in the area before retiring to their hotel later that night. The Weeknd's South American tour is still in full swing, so we doubt it'll be long before they're getting their passports stamped somewhere new.

The Heartbreaking Way This Teacher Discovered 5 Students' Biggest Secrets

When Elle Deal decided to try a new exercise with her fifth grade students, the Friday activity turned into something incredibly heartbreaking.

The elementary school teacher asked her kids to write a short blurb, titled, "I wish my teacher would know . . . " and their answers left a major impact on her. Elle shared a few of the heartbreaking (and anonymous) statements on Facebook as a reminder to everyone to "leave this life a little better than how we found it."

"Kid 1: I wish my teacher would know, my dad is in jail and I haven't seen him in years.
Kid 2: I wish my teacher would know, I don't always eat dinner because my mom works and I don't know how to work the stove.
Kid 3: I wish my teacher would know, my sister sleeps in the same bed as me and sometimes she wets the bed and that's why I smell funny.
Kid 4: I wish my teacher would know that I don't always have sneakers for gym class because my brothers and I share one pair.
Kid 5: I wish my teacher would know I like coming to school because it's quiet here, not like my house with all the yelling."

This simple activity reinforced Elle's desire to spend her life hopefully making a difference for others. "We spend so much time talking and judging what we think we know . . . we need to ask more questions and spend more time listening," she wrote. "We also need to shift our mindset and see things from other people's perspective, give more than we get, and live to serve."

3-Year-Olds Are Kinda the Worst and Here's Why

You always hear about the "terrible twos" phase when it comes to your little ones. But no one has ever told you about when your child turns the doomed age of three. YourTango tells us exactly why three-year-olds are the new two-year-olds, and worse.

This is a worldwide epidemic.

I have two children. Before I had kids, everyone warned me about the terrible twos.

"Watch out, when your kid turns two they become wild and uncontrollable. All they say is 'no' to everything and good luck, because that year is going to suck big time."

Well, I'm here to tell you that "everyone" was wrong. Two-year olds are challenging but they're nowhere near as hard to deal with as three-year olds. After dealing with two three-year-olds in my house, they're undeniably the hardest humans on the face of the planet to negotiate with. The reason? They don't give a f*ck!

My daughter is three. No matter what I tell her to do, she doesn't f*cking care. For example, I could tell her to put her pants on. She will insist that she's absolutely not, under any circumstances, wearing those pants because they're blue.

"I want pink pants!" she will shout.

I explain to her that there are no clean pink pants. I open the drawers and show her that they don't contain pink pants. She doesn't f*cking care. She still wants the pink pants that don't exist.

This morning, she got out of bed, took a cup from the kitchen - one of those expensive, Preserve recycled cups - and threw it in the toilet. I gritted my teeth and explained to her that she wasn't to do that again. She just smiled. So I sheepishly put her in time out.

And it's not just her. My other child, Ari, acted the same way at three. He was oppositional, didn't care what I told him to do and wanted to do the opposite. In fact, I blocked out a lot of his defiant behavior because I think I was traumatized over the fact that I had absolutely no control over him.

I thought that maybe my kids were just challenging me. Maybe I'm a sh*tty parent. But no, it's not just me; this is a worldwide epidemic. All three-year olds do this to their parents. Something happens to children when they turn three. They become assh*les.

There's no other way to put it. They do whatever they want to do and they don't care if you tell them not to do it.

In fact, if you tell them to stop throwing M&Ms at the cat, they will throw more M&Ms at the cat with increasing velocity and greater intention to hit the cat in the face.

Thankfully, they don't stay assh*les for a long time. Their assh*le behavior only lasts for one year. When they turn four, they become slightly easier to negotiate with and gradually begin to respond to bribery. So there's hope.

If you're dealing with a three-year-old assh*le now, just take a deep breath and realize that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. This too shall pass ... in 12 months.

Prince William Honors Police Officer Who Died in the London Terrorist Attack

Fresh off of a fun-filled official visit to Paris with wife Kate Middleton, Prince William has resumed his royal duties in the UK. The Duke of Cambridge traveled to Stafford, England, on Wednesday to officially open the Remembrance Centre, which houses over 330 memorials on its property and aims to provide all of its visitors with "an inspiring journey" of discovery. He also penned a touching address for the event's program. "The National Memorial Arboretum honours and remembers those men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of this country," he said. "This is a place for special memories, many of them sad, but hopefully, many of them happy too. We all have an important job to do in keeping these memories alive for future generations and this new Remembrance Centre will play a significant role in that duty."

He chatted with school children and members of the military as he toured the grounds and later laid a wreath in the Police Memorial Garden with a personalized note attached in honor of the victims of the recent terrorist attack in London. "For PC Keith Palmer, and all those who have served our community so valiantly," he wrote. "Your legacy is our way of life." Will's sentiments for the people affected by the attack echo Kate's words at London's Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists last week, when she asked everyone in attendance to send "thoughts and prayers to all those sadly affected by yesterday's terrible attack in Westminster." Will and Kate have a move to the bustling capital coming up and recently announced where Prince George, 3, will be attending school.

Zac Efron Looks Like a Motivational Speaker in These Photos, and We Can't Stop Laughing

Zac Efron attended CinemaCon at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Tuesday to promote his new movie Baywatch. While we loved seeing him reunite with the ridiculously good-looking cast, we couldn't help but be totally focused on Zac in each and every photo. As the group spoke on stage about their film, the actor hilariously looked more like a motivational speaker than a Hollywood star. In addition to talking animatedly with his hands, Zac also worked the stage and put his hands up in the air in a sort of victory move. We're sure everyone in attendance was focused on the film, which is bound to be the hit of the Summer, but we can't help but hear things like, "You can do it! Say 'YES' to your life! It's time to start living RIGHT NOW." Andddd now we can't stop laughing.

Mom Warns Other Parents After a Terrifying Experience With Strangers at Ikea

When Diandra Toyos was shopping at Ikea with her mom and three kids, she had a strange feeling that something was seriously wrong. Call it a mother's intuition or just being an observant parent, but strangers in the couch department were giving this mom a bad vibe.

What happened next will send chills down any parent's spine and Diandra is sharing her story to warn everyone about what could happen if families aren't careful. "I noticed a well dressed, middle aged man circling the area, getting closer to me and the kids," she wrote on Facebook. "At one point he came right up to me and the boys, and instinctively I put myself between he and my mobile son. I had a bad feeling."

Diandra explained that the stranger continued to circle the area, staring at her kids, ages 4 years old, 1 1/2 years old, and 7 weeks old. "My mom noticed as well and mentioned that we needed to keep an eye on him," she wrote. "We moved on ... and so did he. Closely."

In addition to this stranger following them, Diandra's mom noticed another male staying close by. "He wasn't looking at us, but was walking the same circling pattern around us as the first man," she wrote. "My mom and I decided to sit down and wait for them to move on. We had a gut feeling something was going on, but we hoped we were wrong and they would move on."

They sat at one of the display rooms for 30 minutes and during that time the men sat on one of the couches facing them and waited too. "That was when we knew our gut feeling was right and something was off," she wrote. "The older man was still watching us. [My mom] made eye contact ... very clearly letting them know that we saw them. And we moved on."

They managed to lose them at one point by using the bathroom and going into a different section. As soon as they were through the Ikea "maze," the women reported what happened to security. "Something was off. We knew it in our gut. I am almost sure that we were the targets of human trafficking," she explained, though she admits in an edit to the post that she has no exact confirmation on what the men were really up to. "This is happening all over, including the United States. It's in our backyards. I'm reading more and more about these experiences and it's terrifying. If not that, something else shady was obviously going on. Either way, as parents, we NEED to be aware."

Diandra noticed a few things about these men she wants other parents to be aware of when out with their kids. They weren't shopping or waiting for anyone. "The older man would occasionally pick something up and act like he was looking at it, but he'd look right over the top of it at my kids," she wrote. "Then he'd drop it and move on as soon as we did."

According to Diandra, these men were alone and didn't talk to anyone or even smile. They were dressed differently and tried not to appear to be together. But most importantly, they were spending most of their time in an area that was close to an exit. "They could have run out that exit with my child and handed them off to someone waiting outside and been gone before I could find them," she wrote.

Most importantly, Diandra wants all parents to keep one thing in mind whenever they are out with their kids:

Please PLEASE be aware when you're out with your children. It's not the time to be texting or Facebooking or chatting on the phone. When you're in a public place with your kids, please be aware and present so that you don't become a victim. Had I not been paying attention that day ... or had I let my kids roam and play while I checked my phone ... I may have lost one. The thought just makes me completely ill. (Especially because I've been guilty of this!).

Victoria Beckham's Hilarious T-Shirt Tells Her Life Story

We've all heard it. That one quip that someone has to make when the topic is Victoria Beckham: "why doesn't she smile?", "it's a shame she's not a smiler", "I just wish she'd smile more". If we're sick to death of hearing it, chances are that VB is sick to purgatory and back of this one. Her response? Sticking it to any remaining haters in the best way: with a slogan t-shirt ($150) from her own fashion house. The answer? Fashion stole it. Genius.

Jack Black and His Son Dance Like Nobody's Watching at the Lakers Game

Jack Black may be a successful movie star and father of two, but when it comes down to it, he's still just a big kid at heart. The actor spent some quality time with his 10-year-old son, Samuel, when they watched the LA Lakers take on the Washington Wizards at the Staples Center on Tuesday. The duo appeared to have so much fun together while sitting courtside, sharing a few laughs and funny faces and even getting up to dance at one point. Jack also solidified his "cool dad" status by wearing sunglasses in the completely enclosed stadium. The star, who has been married to Tanya Haden since March 2006, is also father to 8-year-old son Thomas. Here's hoping these two take after Jack Nicholson and his son, Ray, who have made going to Lakers games together a regular tradition.

Leonardo DiCaprio Pens Touching Tribute to Late "Acting Mom" Darlene Cates

One of Leonardo DiCaprio's first big breaks was a part in the 1993 drama What's Eating Gilbert Grape, which makes the passing of his beloved costar Darlene Cates that much more heartbreaking. The actress, who played the Oscar-winner's mother in the film, died on Sunday at the age of 69. Her family was first to relay the sad news via Facebook, letting people know that she passed away "peacefully in her sleep."

Darlene not only served as Leo's mom on screen, but also as a mother figure behind the scenes, which he discussed in a touching tribute on his own Facebook page. "Darlene was the best acting mom I ever had the privilege of working alongside," he wrote. "Her endearing personality and incredible talent will live on in the memories of those who knew her, and those who loved her work. My thoughts and prayers are with her family during this difficult time."

Leo's role in What's Eating Gilbert Grape earned him his first Academy Award nomination in 1994. Following her work in the movie, Darlene went on to appear in projects like Touched by an Angel and a TV movie called Wolf Girl.

Acclaimed choreographer Andrew Winghart paid the ultimate tribute to Justin Timberlake on the singer's 36th birthday in January. Explaining his inspiration for the short, Andrew said, "I stumbled upon the song through my iTunes shuffle and was instantly captivated by memories of loving this piece as an 11-year-old. I was struck by how modern and timeless the song felt and knew right away I wanted to choreograph a tribute piece that did the song justice through dance." Watch the stunning video above now.

School Makes an Example of Kids' Lunches to Warn - and Shame - Parents

After school staff came across a variety of troublesome lunches, one principal is taking a stand and issuing a major warning to parents about taking their kids' health seriously.

Over the course of a few weeks, children were showing up at school with "worrying" packed lunches, including a cold McDonald's Happy Meal in one lunch bag and just four yogurts with a pack of candy in another. In order to prove his point, Jon Carthy, a principal at Byron Primary School in England, included these examples in a recent school newsletter.

"Whilst extreme and funny to read on paper, I must make this clear these are not acceptable examples of a balanced packed lunch," he wrote. "Children work very hard at school and a balanced meal at lunch time helps provide concentration for the afternoon."

The concerned principal also gave parents new guidelines for what they should pack for their child, including a portion of fruit and vegetables. "We have 525 children at the school and every single child took that letter home and it has been posted on the website," he told Kent Live. "I've only had positive comments back. Parents have said thank you and told me that someone needed to say this."

This Is How Oprah Transforms Scrambled Eggs Into a "Sexy Breakfast"

Oprah Winfrey stopped by The Dr. Oz Show to share recipes from her new cookbook Food, Health, and Happiness, including what she calls her "sexy breakfast." "I don't even know if you want to call this a recipe," Oprah said of the breakfast, which is scrambled eggs with salsa. But the real secret is in the heat of the homemade salsa - "lots of jalapeños in there," Oprah said, explaining that the recipe comes from Eduardo, "one of the guys that helps me at my house." The other key to perfect scrambled eggs, according to Oprah? Temperature - always serve them hot. "The thing about anyone who is a real cook . . . don't you want people to come to the table when the food is hot?" she asked Dr. Oz.

In addition to her cookbook, published on Jan. 3, Oprah is celebrating her 42-pound weight loss since joining Weight Watchers in the Summer of 2015. Get a sneak peek of Oprah's appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, and allow her breakfast to inspire your next scrambled eggs recipe.

I'm Black and Latina: How I Embrace Both Sides

Living in the melting pot that is New York City, I don't often have to give much thought to my racial identity. Passersby on the street or the cashier at the bodega aren't really paying much attention to where I'm from or why my hair curls the way it does - unless, of course, the bodega man is trying to get my phone number.

That diverse bubble can make me forget about the challenges of growing up the product of an African-American father and a Puerto Rican mother in white suburbia. But watching an episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac recently (don't judge me, I'm a proud reality TV junkie), transported me to high school for a moment. When a black housewife pressured a fellow cast member, whose mother is African American and father was Jewish, to identify her race, I had flashbacks of the black kids in school telling me I wasn't black enough or joking that I was Mexican. It reminded me of explaining to my white classmates that yes, it is possible to be both black and Puerto Rican, and that no, they could not touch my hair.

A few days later, a work associate said she had no idea that I was Puerto Rican because I'd previously simply said I was mixed. I clarified that yes, I'm mixed, with both black and Puerto Rican. The conversation was quickly over, but I couldn't help feeling like I was in that same hot seat at the Real Housewives table, struggling to find the answer: had I answered wrong the first time around? How do I identify? Biracial? Multiracial? Mixed? African American? Black? Latina? Hispanic? Afro-Latina? There are a ton of options in my case, and I wondered if maybe it was time for me to have a go-to response ready for these situations.

But being biracial and figuring out the answer to "What are you?" is more complicated than you might think, all because of one emotion: guilt. When someone asks me my race and I say African American before Puerto Rican, is that a betrayal to my grandmother, who came to the Bronx from Puerto Rico with little to her name? And when an online job application doesn't allow me to check both Hispanic and African American - seriously, people? It's 2016! - is simply selecting Hispanic disloyal to the grandmother who regularly took me to the Blacks in Wax Museum and taught me to be proud of who I am?

To figure out the answer to "The Identity Question," I looked to both sides of my family for inspiration. Despite some major bumps along the way, they were somehow able to blend two cultures and redefine what family meant to them. Holidays have included mac and cheese, pernil, collard greens, platanos, and plenty of hot sauce for both sides. And while my dad's family might stumble over Celia Cruz anthems, everyone knows the words to Michael Jackson songs. If my family can create their own unique racial identity, then so can I.

So to all future employers, guys I will date, or reality stars, here's how I identify: I am Arianna. I'm a writer with big hair, a passion for travel, and an obsession with Drake. I also happen to be black. I also happen to be Puerto Rican. I am Latina, I am African American. I raise my fist just as proudly during Black History Month as I do during Hispanic Heritage Month. I don't have to put myself in a box, and I sure as hell don't have to check just one box on a job application or dating app. I am the sum of all the things that make me who I am, from mac and cheese to platanos, with a little hot sauce on top.

My Daughter Thinks She's in Charge - and She Might Be Right

It started innocently and simply enough. I wanted my daughter to be happy, and from the time she could start expressing her own wants and needs, that often meant giving her whatever she asked for - within reason, of course. In my mind, feeding her a cookie for breakfast or buying a cheap stuffed animal at the Walgreen's checkout line wasn't hurting anyone, right? It was about conflict aversion, preventing meltdowns, and picking my battles, all skills every mom needs to survive.

But somewhere along the line, things got out of control. I realized that I wasn't the only one constantly capitulating to this tiny person's needs. My husband was doing it, taking her to Home Depot on a Saturday and somehow coming home with a couple of new toys from Target. My mom, whom my daughter calls Gaga, was perhaps the worst offender, making it her grandmotherly duty to do and buy whatever would make my daughter happy. She taught her to circle whatever she wanted in catalogs, then pass them over to Gaga, and magically the items would show up a week later. My mom once told me she was proud of herself because she had imposed a three-sweets-per-day rule for my daughter in her house, as if feeding a 3-year-old three ice cream cones a day was an exercise in restraint.

Recently, as we're approaching my daughter's sixth birthday, I realized all that well-intentioned giving has taught my daughter one thing: she's the boss in our family. And what the boss says, she thinks, always goes. Well, f*ck me.

I'm currently, frantically trying to backpedal, to teach her that her shiny, happy life isn't something she should take for granted as much as she obviously does. After all, she's not a monster, and I'm not a completely irresponsible parent. I've taught her about gratitude and using good manners since the day she was born. She knows the difference between right and wrong, between good and bad behavior. Her teacher literally told me she wished she had 18 students just like her in class. But at home, she wields her assumed power like a sword, ready to strike down anyone (mostly me) that tries to challenge her place on the throne.

She wields her assumed power like a sword, ready to strike down anyone that tries to challenge her place on the throne.

I've tried every appropriate punishment for a child who will look me in the face, roll her eyes, and whisper a defiant "no" every time I ask her to clean her room, share with her little brother, or get her own snack. She might concede to a short timeout in a place of her choosing, but mostly she just responds to my threats and admonishments with abject dismissal. I can see what she's thinking: why would the queen follow orders from her minion?

Recently, I've tried pulling out the big guns. After some particularly outrageous behavior, I confiscated all of her much-loved stuffed animals and told her she had to earn them back. She was sweet long enough to get her two favorites, then forgot all about the rest, which are still living under my bed months later. I often threaten the loss of her precious iPad, but she always calls that bluff, knowing that she can get it back just by annoying me for a few hours, after which I'll be begging her to keep quiet and zone out with her favorite screen for a while. I've warned her that I'll cancel birthday parties and playdates, but she knows that these are mostly idle threats.

So for now, I'm hoping that the sassy little tyrant I'm currently living with will eventually get over her hunger for control and dominance and learn that our house is a democracy, not a dictatorship - or at the very least that she will start using her power for good, not evil.

How Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Became the Big Apple's Best Couple

Sarah Jessica Parker may be best known for her role as perennial city girl Carrie Bradshaw, but there's something else in her life that has stood the test of time: her marriage to fellow actor Matthew Broderick. Their love story reads like a Woody Allen movie: Sarah Jessica and Matthew met in 1991 after being introduced at a theater company by one of Sarah Jessica's brothers. They tied the knot in 1997 with a civil ceremony on Manhattan's Lower East Side - she famously wore a black wedding gown! - and have since become parents to son James Wilkie and twin daughters Tabitha and Loretta.

They're not just one of Hollywood's longest-running celebrity couples, though - Matthew and SJP are also widely recognized as famous figures in the Big Apple. They live in the West Village, champion important causes like arts education and music programs, and support the NYC Ballet and UNICEF. They can always be counted on to show up in style for high-profile events on Broadway, glitzy industry galas, and various red carpet ceremonies. How Did Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Meet? They Were Dating Other People

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are one of country's most iconic couples, so it's pretty fitting that their love story started at a musical festival. The two first met at the New Faces Show in Nashville sometime in late 1994. Faith had just divorced Daniel Hill and Tim was dating Kristine Donahue. Even though their interaction backstage was brief, they got to know each other a little better when they went on a joint tour in the Spring of 1996, fittingly titled Spontaneous Combustion.

While Tim was newly single after calling off his engagement to Kristine, Faith was engaged to record producer Scott Hendricks. After singing together every night on stage, however, they just couldn't deny the sparks between them. One night after a show, Tim invited her into his dressing room and they shared their first kiss. Shortly after, Faith called off her engagement and the two began dating. By the end of the year, they were married and expecting their first child. Fast-forward 20 years and the country couple is still going strong with three beautiful daughters.
