To the People Who Say My Kids Are Too Young to Remember Disneyland

I've heard this over and over: "Why bother taking a child under the age of 5 years old to Disneyland? They won't even remember it! Why deal with all those crowds and spend all that money on a kid who won't have any memory of their first visit?" I mean why do anything with your children before they're old enough to remember it, then?

And I saw so many babies there during my recent trip with my 3.5 year old and 15 month old that I know I am not alone in disagreeing with this point of view. Not to mention, I have proof - a photo of myself at 3 years old sitting on my dad's shoulders in front of the Mickey Mouse flowers that brings back so many nostalgic "memories" even 29 years later. Turns out, in addition to wanting to give your kids a magical childhood experience, there are actually so many reasons to take them to Disneyland when they're young.

This Ikea Hack For Families Who Cosleep Is Truly Genius

If your kiddos are the type to wake up in the middle of the night and crawl into your bed, or you got sick of that and already started cosleeping so that everyone can get some shut-eye, this incredible Ikea hack may just be the solution to making sure everyone's limbs are kept to themselves while still having the security of all being together in one bed.

Mama and professional photographer, Elizabeth Boyce, has six kiddos - five of which are under 11 years old - and when sleeping in one bed with toddlers and tripping over older kids on the floor in the middle of the night got to be a bit much, she used her craftiness and some materials she already had to create this cosleeping masterpiece from a couple of Ikea Kura beds and a ton of comfy mattresses.

Elizabeth shared the steps to creating this bed that has room for two grown adults and five children on her blog, but really, the setup was simple. She used the two Kura beds to create pseudo bunk beds for her four middle kiddos, and placed a giant king-size mattress in the middle for her and her husband, and their youngest, Elijah.

So far everyone is loving the bed - the idea was to give everyone enough space to sleep better, and it seems to be working out well for them. Though the bed is one cohesive unit, each child has their own space to sleep with their stuffed animals and pillows, and Elizabeth says, "They are staying in their own beds, which is a miracle!"

This is the bed every cosleeping family didn't even know they needed. Send your thank you notes to Elizabeth, because she is a true genius.

To see where everyone sleeps and how they make it all work, see the photo below.

Here's That Big Little Lies Theme Song You Can't Get Out of Your Head

Everything about Big Little Lies is addictive, and chances are high that you were consumed from the moment you heard the opening bars of the theme song. The tune that plays over the moody credits is called "Cold Little Heart," and it's by an artist named Michael Kiwanuka. Fans of Parenthood will be familiar with the sound (and maybe even the name), because he provided a few songs for the NBC series! Listen above; it's just one of many great songs utilized by the show.

Amal Clooney Looks Business Professional Right Until You See Her Shoes

Why is it that Amal Clooney's outfits are always so darn good? While arriving to give a speech at London's Chatham House, Amal looked elegant as ever. The lawyer and activist stepped out in a bright red shift dress and a camel-colored trench coat with a structured leather bag. Both the dress and the coat were vintage pieces - the coat was a Balmain number from the '60s and the loose-fitting dress was from the Dior A/W 1972 Haute Couture collection.

While her vintage outfit was on point, the real stars of the show were her vibrant Oscar de la Renta slingback heels that are perfect for Spring. Amal found the perfect way to incorporate a fun print with her business-professional attire, and we've gotta say we're all about it. She actually wore the same pair of shoes at another event back 2014. Check out her power ensemble and shop the heels below.

Paris Jackson Flaunts Her Armpit Hair, and the Internet Officially Needs to Chill

There's something about armpit hair on women that no matter how many times someone debuts it, she immediately faces criticism. The latest celebrity to take on the au naturel armpit style? Paris Jackson. The 18-year-old model took to her Instagram story to proudly show off what two months of growing out her armpit hair looks like and fire back with the perfect response to the hair haters.

"I didn't realize that people were going to get so upset over my armpit hair," she said in a video. "I didn't realize that was such an issue. It is so funny. People are really mad. I wish I could post some of the responses. You can just tell how angry and infuriated these people are."

She continued talking about how proud she was of the small amount of hair she grew in two months. "I love hair, and sweat, and BO. I fucking love it," she added. "I think it's great. Some people think that it's like super disgusting, especially on girls, but every human body does it. It's natural. Get over it."

Paris also took to Twitter to reflect her IDGAF attitude, writing, "wow she grows hair like every human being on the planet, what is she doing with her life," seen below.

Although we support her awesome attitude to laugh off the haters, it's pretty unfortunate that no matter how many times a public figure decides to grow out her armpit hair, she faces backlash. Just like Jemima Kirke and Miley Cyrus have embraced their natural armpit hair, we're happy to see that Paris is doing the same.

If You Want to Lose Fat, You Gotta Lift Weights - Here's Why

When it comes to losing weight, diet is key. It's easier to eat fewer calories then it is to burn them later. But what about the exercise part of the equation? When working out to maximize fat loss, science shows us you want a balanced routine of cardio and strength training. Lean muscle takes more energy to maintain than fat, which helps to maintain your metabolism and burn more calories. Aside from gaining strength, muscle also help protect your joints from injury and even helps regulate blood sugar levels.

Findings from a Duke University study also support that a combo of cardio and strength training works best for losing fat. The study followed 119 people through three different exercise regimens: cardio only, strength training only, or a mix of the two. Overall, cardio was the winner for the most calories burned and total weight loss, and the participants who only strength trained had the most weight added to their frames due to increasing lean muscle mass. But the study found that a cardio- or strength-only routine wasn't the best option for losing fat and gaining lean muscle. The winner here? Those that did both cardio and strength training. This group had the most improved body composition by losing the most fat while also gaining lean muscle. The downside was that this group spent the most time at the gym.

To make your workouts as efficient as possible, you should do both cardio and strength training during one sweat sesh, but the order matters! Always do your strength training first - when you do, you burn more calories during your cardio because your heart will beat faster, increasing by 12 beats a minute, which leads to more calories burned.

Ready to work out? Start with this beginner strength-training workout that takes about 20 minutes, then get your cardio on with this 20-minute treadmill workout.

Matt Damon Says BFF Ben Affleck "Couldn't Be Happier" After Rehab

Ben Affleck recently completed a rehab stay for alcohol addiction, and according to his BFF Matt Damon, things are on the up and up. In an interview with ET on Tuesday, Matt said that Ben is feeling "fantastic" since treatment and that he "couldn't be happier." He also added that Ben's "with the kids now" while estranged wife Jennifer Garner is away filming her upcoming movie Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda. "Jen's working for a couple weeks in Atlanta, so he's Mr. Mom-ing it right now," Matt said, adding, "And that's what he wants to be doing."

More evidence of Ben's upswing came from the same outlet earlier this month, which reported that the Oscar winner is "feeling good" and that he "wants his kids [daughters Violet and Seraphina and son Samuel] to know that he did everything he could to be a better father."

YouTubers Will Be Batsh*t Obsessed With This Genius Blending Sponge

Yes, you love your beauty-blending sponge, but it has some issues. Maybe it gets dirty too quickly or doesn't diffuse your makeup well - be it a sponge or silicone version. Ena Vehabovic, an engineer and previous Miss Word Canada finalist, saw some of these problems and decided to create her own iteration, dubbed the Enavee.

While the Enavee is not available yet, you can support it by donating to its Kickstarter campaign. Here's why you should: the Enavee is basically the love child of the Beautyblender and the Evie Blender. It is a soft, platinum-grade silicone with a unique pinch tip that keeps bacteria from your fingers off of the sponge (genius).

The texture of silicone is soft enough to mimic that of a sponge. There is also a pointed tip at the end for the under-eye and nose areas. It's really a combination of the best qualities of top-rated blending sponges.

We predict if this little guy gets made that YouTubers (and us regular folks) will absolutely love it. Just watch it in action in the video below!

Kate Middleton Has Something That No Other British Royal Bride Does

We've learned quite a bit about Kate Middleton since she officially joined the royal family in 2011, and getting to see her many milestones as the Duchess of Cambridge has been a real delight. Even though her new life as a duchess has afforded her the same opulent jewels, lavish living quarters, and frequent public appearances as everyone else, there's one thing Kate has that none of the other women in the family do: a college education.

When Kate and William met in 2001, they were both students at University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland. They graduated in 2005, William with a master's in geography and Kate with a master's degree (with honors) in art history - making her the UK's first royal bride with a university degree. If Kate becomes queen, she will also be the first ever to have attended college.

Though she didn't attend college, current monarch Queen Elizabeth II's education is nothing to sneeze at. She was essentially homeschooled but had the cream of the crop when it came to teachers. After she became heir to the throne in 1936, she studied constitutional history and law with Eton College Vice Provost Henry Marten. She also learned French, music, and literature from a personal governess and took lessons in religion from the Archbishop of Canterbury. When she was 18, she joined the Women's Auxiliary Territorial Service during World War II, training as a mechanic and driver.

Director Greg Nicotero Opens Up About TWD's "Emotional" Season Finale

You might think you know what's in store for The Walking Dead's season 7 finale, but one of the show's producers promises that it will be the best one yet. In a new interview with Entertainment Weekly, Greg Nicotero, who directed the finale episode, explained why the tensions between Rick and the Negan's army will finally reach its boiling point.

"I think it's one of the best scripts that we've ever produced, just in terms of pure character arc," Nicotero confessed. "And it really sums up the trajectory of the second half of the season perfectly. A lot of the questions, and a lot of the things that we spent time cultivating over the first half of the season and the second half of the season, definitely come to a head."

When asked about filming the highly anticipated finale, Nicotero shared, "It was a f*cking bear, man. We had about a five-day prep and a 10-day shoot, and we were moving, literally, on pure instinct . . . Having been in the trenches with these guys so many times before, it was exciting and every single day, on set, we had fun and we got a chance to do a lot of great emotional stuff, a lot of great action stuff, sort of weaving all of these pieces together, and I f*cking loved every second of it."

This comes after The Walking Dead's Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie on the show, teased the season 7 finale as "incredibly bittersweet, beautiful, and heartbreaking."

Guess we will just have to wait and see how it all unfolds on April 2. And a friendly reminder to Greg Nicotero: if Daryl dies, we will riot!

How a Dad Was There For His Daughter When Her Mom Couldn't Be

When Tiana Sheehan was shopping for shaving cream, she overheard a mom in the same aisle talking to her daughter about shaving her legs as they shopped for her first razor. Although most people wouldn't think twice about this simple conversation, it pierced Tiana.

"I felt that little punch in the gut that I normally feel when I see a mom and daughter doing mom and daughter things. I can't help it," she shared with the Love What Matters Facebook page. "You'd think after 14 years without mine, seeing someone with their mom wouldn't make me sad or jealous, but it just does."

However, this time was different, because the familiar pain quickly passed and was replaced by an unexpected feeling. "I couldn't help but giggle," she wrote. "I was transported back to a similar moment I shared with my dad."

Tiana recalled the look on her dad's face when she told him that she wanted to shave her legs for the first time. It was the Summer after her mom died and some of the girls at camp had started teasing her about her hairy legs. "I remember coming up to dad and being so embarrassed to ask him for help, but man, did he handle it like a champ!" she recalled.

For a moment, he put his head down but then he simply turned the TV off, took her into the bathroom, gave her a new blade on his razor, handed her his shaving cream, and taught her how to shave her legs. "Single dads don't get the credit they deserve; especially mine and all dads who are left playing both roles," she wrote. "There was never a time in my childhood where I truly thought I was missing out on anything."

This grateful daughter realizes how amazing her father was at fulfilling both roles and working to make sure that her childhood was as normal as possible. "There was never a time I thought life or God had screwed me over," she wrote. "My dad handled everything: periods, shaving, broken hearts, catty girlfriends - you name it and my dad took it like a champ."

For all of this, Tiana has something that she wants her single parent to know:

"Dad, I know I haven't said it enough, so here's a big public THANK YOU for never, ever, ever being too much of a man to be my mom. Thank you for never being too embarrassed to do the girl stuff you had to do, thank you for never making it embarrassing for me to ask you for help. Growing up without a mom is obviously something no one ever wants, but growing up with you was the best. I love you, dad!"

Every Parent Should Use This Dad's "X-Plan" to Give Their Teens a Way Out of Pressure Situations

Being a teen can be difficult; you're learning to navigate a more adult world full of sometimes uncomfortable social situations, which may or may not include peer pressure, while also trying to "be cool." To alleviate some of the stress that comes with these instances, one dad is sharing an invaluable code he uses with his own kids, which acts as an out for them during any awkward social situation - and it's something you and your kids should adopt ASAP.

"As a teen, forcing down alcohol seemed a whole lot easier than offering myself up for punishment, endless nagging and interrogation, and the potential end of freedom as I knew it," Bert Fulks, a father and youth minister, shared on his blog. "For these reasons, we now have something called the 'X-plan' in our family. This simple, but powerful tool is a lifeline that our kids are free to use at any time."

Here's how it works:

"Let's say that my youngest, Danny, gets dropped off at a party. If anything about the situation makes him uncomfortable, all he has to do is text the letter 'X' to any of us (his mother, me, his older brother or sister). The one who receives the text has a very basic script to follow. Within a few minutes, they call Danny's phone. When he answers, the conversation goes like this:

'Hello?'

'Danny, something's come up and I have to come get you right now.'

'What happened?'

'I'll tell you when I get there. Be ready to leave in five minutes. I'm on my way.'

At that point, Danny tells his friends that something's happened at home, someone is coming to get him, and he has to leave. In short, Danny knows he has a way out; at the same time, there's no pressure on him to open himself to any social ridicule. He has the freedom to protect himself while continuing to grow and learn to navigate his world."

Pretty genius, right?

Bert continues his post, highlighting one important component to the plan. "Once he's been extracted from the trenches, Danny knows that he can tell us as much or as little as he wants . . . but it's completely up to him. The X-plan comes with the agreement that we will pass no judgments and ask no questions . . . This can be a hard thing for some parents (admit it, some of us are complete control freaks); but I promise it might not only save them, but it will go a long way in building trust between you and your kid."

Big Little Lies: Is There Any Chance We'll Get a Season 2?

Big Little Lies is HBO's breakout hit of 2017, and it's a damn shame that it's about to end forever. We've only experienced six episodes of the show, and it's concluding with episode seven, "You Get What You Need." (Side note: are we to assume the excellent soundtrack will wrap up with the classic Rolling Stones tune "You Can't Always Get What You Want"?) You may be wondering when we can expect season two, and the answer is NEVER. Big Little Lies is a miniseries, based on Liane Moriarty's bestseller. Unless Moriarty writes a sequel (or HBO decides to full-on make one up), there won't be a second season.

On the bright side, that means that we'll get a resolution in the finale; it won't just be one big cliffhanger leading into another batch of episodes. If you've already read the book, you know exactly what happens, but there's always a chance things could go down differently on the show.

Sorry to break your heart.

Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger starred together in the Oscar-winning Brokeback Mountain back in 2005, along with Heath's then-partner Michelle Williams. Michelle was pregnant with the couple's only child during promotion for the film and when their daughter Matilda was born in October of that year, Michelle and Heath named Jake as her godfather (her godmother is Michelle's longtime BFF Busy Philipps).

13 Sweet, Heartbreaking Things William and Harry Have Said About Princess Diana

Princess Diana and Harry with William on his first day at Eton in September 1995.

It's been nearly 20 years since Princess Diana's tragic death, and the anniversary has brought a renewed interest in her extraordinary (and sometimes scandalous) life as a royal. When Diana passed away in a car accident in August 1997, she left behind her two sons, William and Harry, who were 15 and 12, respectively, at the time. The princes have begun opening up about their mother's death in recent years and have admitted that it took time for them to feel comfortable talking about the huge loss. William told a young boy at a charity event that he was "very angry" about Diana's death and "found it very difficult to talk about."

In addition to speaking about their mother in interviews, William and Harry have taken on a number of her charities and both consider her legacy as one of the driving forces behind their philanthropic efforts. Recently, William bonded with young children who have lost their own parents, telling a little girl, "I lost my mummy when I was young, too. It's very important to talk about it." He and Harry are also erecting a memorial statue in the public gardens of Kensington Palace this year to commemorate her death and her positive impact in the UK and around the world. See more of the sweet, heartbreaking things that Harry and William have said about their late mum.

  • "Time makes it easier. I still miss my mother every day - and it's 20 years after she died."
  • "Twenty-one years ago, my mother attended the launch of the Child Bereavement charity. Fifteen years later, I was honored to be invited to become patron of Child Bereavement UK to continue my mother's commitment to a charity which is very dear to me. What my mother recognized back then, and what I understand now, is that grief is the most painful experience that any child or parent can endure."
  • "I never realized quite how much of an impact she had. I applaud her for all her dedication and drive, and I think the infectious enthusiasm and all the energy she had really rubbed off on me for causes such as [AIDS research in Africa]."
  • "Initially, there is a sense of profound shock and disbelief that this could ever happen to you. Real grief often does not hit home until much later. For many it is a grief never entirely lost. Life is altered as you know it, and not a day goes past without you thinking about the one you have lost. I know that over time it is possible to learn to live with what has happened and, with the passing of years, to retain or rediscover cherished memories."
  • "Losing a close family member is one of the hardest experiences that anyone can ever endure. Never being able to say the word 'Mummy' again in your life sounds like a small thing. I too have felt - and still feel - the emptiness on such a day as Mother's Day."

Prince Harry

  • "I never really dealt with what had actually happened. So there was a lot of buried emotion, and I still didn't even want to think about it."
  • "I really regret not talking about it. It is OK to suffer, but as long as you talk about it. It is not a weakness. Weakness is having a problem and not recognizing it and not solving that problem."
  • "It's a huge shame she's not here. But I hope she'd be incredibly proud of what we managed to achieve."
  • "I first came [to Africa] in 1997, straight after my mum died. My dad told my brother and me to pack our bags - we were going to Africa to get away from it all."
  • "We will do everything we can to make sure she's never forgotten, and carry on all of the special gifts and such that she had and that she portrayed when she was alive. I hope that a lot of my mother's talents are shown in the work that I do."
  • "I hope she's looking down [at our family] with tears in her eyes being incredibly proud of what we've established. I'm sure she's longing for me to have kids so she can be a grandmother again . . . but I hope that everything we do privately and officially, that it makes her proud."
  • "Losing your mother at such a young age does end up shaping your life massively, of course it does. And now I find myself trying to be there and give advice to other people who are in similar positions."
  • "Every day, depending on what I'm doing, I wonder what it would be like if she was here, and what she would say, and how she would be making everybody else laugh. Who knows what the situation would be, what the world would be like, if she were still around."

Nars Revamped Its Iconic Bronzer Formula - and It's Better Than Ever

Before there were contour kits, liquid bronzing drops, and multiuse sticks, there was Nars Bronzer (Laguna being the star shade). This was my go-to for most of my tweens and early 20s - until the beauty market exploded with unique products to give that post-vacation flush. But I am going to be totally honest here - and I am a Nars junkie - in the past year, my trusty Laguna got relegated to the back of my drawer when I got my hands cheeks on the aforementioned products. Shimmery bronzing powder just felt so . . . 2004.

Then, I went to a preview for Nars's Spring launches a few months ago and discovered the brand has secretly been working on a new bronzer formula - and it's dope! I can finally share the details about these amazing pigments that I've been using for weeks. Meet Nars Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer, a new velvety matte powder with particles so small, you'd swear it was actually a pressed serum.

It comes in four shades - two classics (Laguna and Casino) - as well as two newbies (Seaside and Falaises). The formula is magical in that it seems to melt and diffuse into skin upon contact. Run your finger along the powder in the compact and it feels silky to the touch. My tip is to use a dense brush to pick up all of the finely milled particles, then layer it on! The product can be sheer or highly pigmented, depending on how much you use.

I've never seen a formula like this one, which is both matte and creamy but in powder form. It blends easily since the formula spreads across your skin upon contact. Seriously, it's like a magical blurring effect - a filter IRL, if you will. Overall, the flush it creates looks warm and glowy.

While you'll have to wait until March 24 to snag the Nars Sun Wash Diffusing Bronzer ($40) at Nars Boutiques and on narscosmetics.com, you can see a first look here!

I'm Hopelessly Addicted to Magnetic False Lashes (and Never Turning Back)

Guys, we need to have a talk about magnetic lash extensions. And by "a talk," I mean that I need to tell you how they're a f*cking godsend. I use them most times I wear makeup; basically, if you see me post a selfie anywhere, I'm probably wearing a pair of my magnetic falsies. I keep a pack of the lashes at my desk at work, I care for mine religiously at home, and I estimate that I've convinced at least 15 friends to buy their own pair. Considering the fact that many salons charge between $100 and $200 for lash extension treatments that only last a month, I feel obligated to share my experience with these reusable, easy-to-wear lash boosters. I've become something of a magnetic lash disciple.

Basically, if you see me post a selfie anywhere, I'm probably wearing a pair of my magnetic falsies.

When the producer of my weekly POPSUGAR Snapchat series, First Impression Friday, told me that I'd be trying magnetic eyelash extensions, I was nervous; I'd never even heard of magnetic lashes, let alone whether they were safe to use! But to make a long story short, the magnetic lash extensions from One Two Cosmetics ended up being my favorite product ever tested on First Impression Friday in over a year of shooting the Snap series - and I refused to part with them after we wrapped. I brought home the package of magnetic lashes and proceeded to wear them every single day for two weeks.

Like any self-respecting millennial, I took to social media to spread the word about the magnetic lashes, posting a blurb about them on my Instagram story. I received TONS of questions from friends and followers about the lashes, so I figured this review might be a good place to answer them! Read on for images of the lashes in action and answers to all the questions I've been asked since I began wearing the magnetic lash extensions.

8 Things You Should Never Ever Say to Your Wedding Makeup Artist

As your wedding approaches and you are securing a makeup artist, please remember that he or she is in charge of your face on the biggest day of your life. If you want to get along perfectly with a makeup artist (like me!), there are a few comments that you might want to keep to yourself:

1. "My husband doesn't like when I wear lipstick."

My husband hates a lot of things that I do. As a result, I continue to do those things, which is why this comment rubs me the wrong way. Your look on your wedding day should be about YOU! Not your husband. In theory, we want to make sure that he thinks you look beautiful, but if he asked you to spend the rest of your life with him, you probably already have that one in the bag.

When you look in the mirror on your wedding day you should feel and look your best. Take his opinion into account - or pretend to, so his feelings aren't hurt. But omitting lipstick or anything else that might make you your most gorgeous to appease a man sets a bad tone.

2. "This is my third trial."

Makeup artists have different styles of makeup application, and we all have individual ideas of what makes a bride "beautiful." We also have a variety of favorite products that we utilize on our brides. Despite these differences, most makeup artists are able to hone their talents to cater to your needs and your idea of what makes a beautiful bride. If a bride finds herself hopping around from makeup artist to makeup artist and is never satisfied, this is a red flag for me. Often the problem lies in a bride's unrealistic dream of her wedding day; she envisions herself walking down the aisle as a Disney princess rather than the beautiful human that she is.

Reality check: you have flaws. Maybe you don't like your lashes or your skin tone or you have a zit. Embrace yourself and stop nitpicking every little thing about your face. Find an artist who you feel comfortable with, who uses products that you like, and make it work! That artist will be spending the bulk of your wedding day with you. Make sure it is someone you can trust, and you will be happy.

3. "I don't want you to come too early because my makeup has to last until midnight."

Yes. I know. I am in the business of applying makeup so that it will be flawless and last through the day and the night. You might need to touch up your lips or apply powder for shine but your face makeup will last. I will use primers and setting powders and sprays and glue to make sure of that.

When you want me to come do your makeup and your mother's makeup and the eight other bridesmaids, it's going to take a while - even if I bring an assistant. We will start early. There's no way around it. If a bride is nervous, I always recommend that she go last so she can rest easy that her face will be perfect all night.

4. "I just wash my face with soap and don't moisturize."

That statement is often followed with further information like, "I don't take my eye makeup off at night." This type of skin care negligence only leads to a face that feels like sandpaper and eyes that have black circles around them. If your skin is in bad shape and your eye makeup hasn't been taken off properly for years, no amount of makeup can help you.

Makeup simply does not sit well on unhealthy skin. If you are a "skin-abuser" and then you show me a picture of Gwyneth Paltrow and say, "I just want to look like this!" I can tell you right off the bat, "It's not going to happen." Please consider proper skin care at least six months prior to your wedding day. You don't have to do anything crazy, just proper cleansing, moisturizing, and the occasional face scrub will work wonders.

5. "What lipstick should I use?"

Often as I am packing up from a grueling five hours of makeup application on a wedding day, brides or bridesmaids will say expectantly, "So what should I use to touch up my lips?" Sometimes the expectation is that I will start doling out $28 lipsticks to everyone. Lip color is hard to choose, especially for an event. It should be chosen well before the event and PURCHASED. Do not wait until the day of to realize that you need a proper lip product.

6. "If I don't want a trial, can the price be cheaper?"

No. No it cannot. If anything I should increase the price if you don't have a trial because now we are both going to be anxiety-ridden on the day of your wedding. Not having a trial is ill-advised. You should at the very least meet with your artist ahead of time to discuss your expectations and show her a picture of what you like. To show up on the biggest beauty day of your life and expect perfection with no previous meeting is a recipe for disaster.

7. "I don't like blush, and I want a nude lip."

Color on your face can be scary if it's not what you're used to in your daily life. But please remember that this is not your daily life. Putting your body into a white gown, placing a tiara on top of a head of curls and bobby pins, and then walking around with no lipstick or cheek color doesn't add up.

This is an event like no other. Take the plunge and add a little color to your lips and cheeks and you will be happy - especially when you see your pictures.

8. "I don't want lashes - my eyelashes are long enough."

Sorry, but nobody's are. It's not just the dancing and cocktail hour we have to consider when we make this decision. The main objective here is to make sure you look absolutely fabulous in your wedding photos.

These photos, after being held hostage by your photographer for a year, will then find their way to an album for your coffee table and possibly a bunch of frames around your home. Those images will be looked at every day by you and your husband. When you are older and tired from breastfeeding your baby and caring for a toddler, you will gaze fondly at that photo as evidence that you were once stunning and full of life.

Your children will place that photo on a table at the entrance of their wedding, that 300 people will look at closely and say, "Look how gorgeous his mom was!" That photo will be placed in a collage at your funeral. Please consider all of this, and know that fake eyelashes are the most surefire way to look like an absolute bombshell.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough - avoid these mistakes and you will be halfway to having the most flawless face for your wedding day!

This 10-Minute CrossFit Workout Is So Intense, You'll Swear You Worked Out For an Hour

Like a lot of people, stepping into a CrossFit box was an incredibly scary notion. I'd heard that the workouts were intense and competitive and that everyone celebrated by chowing down on a bucket of bacon and doing a secret handshake. How wrong I was. In my experience, I've found the CrossFit community to be incredibly supportive, and while some love their bacon, others celebrate vegan lifestyles and everything in between. As far as the workouts go, they are absolutely intense, but only in the best way possible.

Of all the types of workouts I've done at a CrossFit gym, my all-time fave has to be the AMRAP, aka "as many rounds as possible." You're given a short circuit that you cycle through as many times as you can in a specific amount of time. While the goal is to really push yourself, you set your own pace. You're essentially competing against the clock - and yourself - to complete as many rounds of the circuit as possible. AMRAPs move quickly, and feel incredible once the time on the clock stops.

To give you a little taste of what an AMRAP session feels like, we spoke with the people behind Champlain Valley CrossFit. The below workout is one that box posted for its own members. Take it with you to the gym or modify it slightly to do at home. By the end of the 10 minutes, you'll be dripping sweat and out of breath but totally high on endorphins.

The Workout

Go through the below circuit, doing as many rounds as possible in 10 minutes.

  1. 30 jump rope single unders (if you don't have a jump rope, do lateral bunny hops)
  2. 20 deadlifts using a heavy set of dumbbells or weighted bar
  3. 10 pull-ups (or push-ups)

Do this AMRAP a few times a week, and challenge yourself to increase the number of rounds you do each time!

This "Death Wish" Coffee Has Triple the Amount of Caffeine as Starbucks

Black Insomnia Coffee, self-described as "death wish coffee," claims that it makes the world's strongest coffee. If you get jittery from a Tall cup of Pike Place coffee from Starbucks, you might want to skip out on this brand, because it has triple the amount of caffeine. Made in Cape Town, South Africa, the coffee has 702 milligrams of caffeine in every 12-ounce cup (the same size as a Tall). For comparison, the daily recommended amount of caffeine is about 400 milligrams - and we're talking about almost double that about in just one cup. Black Insomina's mantra is #sleepingischeating for a reason.

Do you dare take the plunge and try this out for yourself? If you laugh in the face of decaf and can confidently say you could handle Black Insomnia, you can order a one-pound bag online for $19. There are also a handful of coffee shops in Cape Town that serve the coffee, such as Shift Espresso Bar and Ginja Beanz. The most caffeinated Starbucks beverage is the Nitro Cold Brew, which has so much caffeine that it's not allowed to be served in a Venti; but even that 20-ounce cup doesn't have nearly the same amount as the 12-ounce serving from Black Insomnia. I guess this is meant for those mornings when you need coffee in an IV, à la Lorelai Gilmore, right?

Find Out How Much You Should Really Be Tipping at the Salon

Tipping is a custom that allows you to express appreciation for a job well done. But when it comes to salon, spa, and nail services, it can be hard to decide who and how much to tip - especially on a color job gone wrong. And while tipping is at your discretion, here are a few suggestions on amounts to give in a variety of circumstances. See the guidelines below.

What I Did to Get (Permanent) Eyebrows on Fleek

It's a beauty woe that's all too familiar. It started in middle school, when I couldn't stand to look at the tiny feather boas sprouting above my eyes. Gwen Stefani was rocking pink parentheses, and I looked like Harrison Ford. I had to tweeze them. Because, you know, when you're in middle school you make responsible and wise decisions. Little did I know that tweezing was a gateway to overtweezing. I ended up looking like Clara Bow when all I wanted was a clean Audrey Hepburn.

Eventually I stared at my superskinny arches and realized that (believe me, I tried) there was little waxing or threading could do to help my already barely there brows. I watched YouTube videos of women filling in theirs like they'd been doing it since the dawn of man. But I wasn't exactly a makeup connoisseur. Probably more like a festival face-painter . . .

But I turned to makeup nonetheless - pencils for sketching my misaligned arches, powders for filling in those sexy bald spots, gels to keep unruly hairs in line, and waxes for building up color. Do you know how much time that takes? If I'm being honest, it takes up most of my morning routine. I could shave my entire body faster than it takes to create one perfectly arched brow.

After all that time each morning, I still found myself catching reflections of them in the rearview mirror. I looked like I'd passed out at a party too early and got attacked by a Sharpie. I had to switch up my morning eyebrow-creating routine. "Eyebrows" and "trial and error" are now so synonymous to me that I fear the bad brow days and cherish the good like loved ones.

While, naturally, perusing #eyebrowsonfleek on Instagram, I discovered microblading. The clouds opened above me, and light poured down on my thirsty arches. My brow-brush-wielding hands prayed for a paid vacation. So I decided to look into the technique.

This alternative tattooing method produces semipermanent results. However, unlike the block-like and harsh traditional eyebrow tats, microblading creates subtle, natural-looking brows by mimicking the strokes of eyebrow hairs.

Microblading requires a manual tool featuring several tiny needles in a row to deposit dye into the dermal second layer of the skin. The pen-like device yields amazingly natural-looking arches because the needles etch hyperprecise strokes that actually look like your brow hairs. Or, in my case, my would-be hairs.

Needless to say, I was intrigued, so when I got the opportunity to visit brow specialist Piret Aava for microblading, I decided to take the plunge and get my eyebrows tattooed. What? Tiny tattoos are in style. It's 2016. And I needed some fly eyebrows, stat.

This Teen Had a Moment of Panic When Realizing He Was Talking to Bart Simpson

What started out as a normal sales pitch quickly turned into a fun surprise for a 13-year-old boy selling snacks for his school fundraiser. On Tuesday, a video began making the rounds showing the teen meeting Nancy Cartwright, the voice of 10-year-old Bart from The Simpsons, outside of a grocery store. At first, he thinks he's just talking to a sweet women who will eventually buy his chocolates; when Nancy switches into her Bart voice, he casually says, "That's a really good impression." But soon enough, he realizes that he's talking to the actual voice of the actual cartoon icon, and the look of panic and surprise on his face is too funny. Watch the viral video above now!

A Look at Bob Harper's Road to Recovery

After surviving a massive heart attack last month, Bob Harper has had to change things up in his regular routine. His path to recovery is just beginning, and it includes changes to his diet (with a surprising sweet treat), backing off from intense exercise (no CrossFit!), and monitoring his vitals closely with doctor supervision. Plus, his recovery companion is super cute - take a look.
