Joss Whedon Is Making a Batgirl Movie and OMG
Praise Buffy! Joss Whedon is writing, directing, and producing a Batgirl movie. The film would be part of the DC Extended Universe, which includes the Superman and Batman films, Suicide Squad, and the upcoming Wonder Woman, Justice League, and Aquaman. No word yet on who will play Batgirl, but the world is Whedon's oyster! Batgirl has never gotten her own movie, so he's working with a pretty blank slate. According to Variety, the project just originated in February, so we have a long ways to go until we get casting news or plot details. Stay tuned!
The Walking Dead: Maggie Is About to Go Into an Entirely New Direction
With so much sh*t going down on The Walking Dead, it's tempting to look at the comic books as an indicator of what lies ahead. We've already taken peeks at the stories of this season's newest characters, like the new villain Negan and the charismatic King Ezekiel, but there's one mainstay character who really seems to be at a crossroads right now: Maggie Greene. After the devastating loss of her husband, Glenn, poor Maggie seems to have been set adrift. She's currently gearing up for war against the Saviors on the show, but where does her story go in the books?
In the comic books, Maggie heads to the Hilltop Colony and never leaves. She arrives at the community with Sophia, her adopted daughter. (Remember Sophia? She's Carol's daughter, and on the TV show, she dies while the group takes shelter at Hershel Greene's farm. In the books, Carol is dead and Sophia is still alive.) Once she settles in, Maggie gives birth to and raises her son, who she names Hershel after her late father. In the wake of Glenn's death, Maggie becomes more hardened than ever by the apocalyptic world. She carries a newfound anger and harbors a bit of a grudge toward Rick. She becomes instrumental in uniting Hilltop and Alexandria against the Saviors and sets herself apart as a new leader.
The new Maggie is much more violent in the comic books, which means she could go that way on the show as well. After Glenn's death, she beats Rick. Once she gets to Hilltop, she punches Gregory, the community's leader, in the face and later beats Rick up again during an argument. In the wake of the war against the Saviors and Negan's sort-of defeat, the members of the Hilltop community decide that Maggie is more fit to keep things running smoothly. As a leader who is losing his grip, Gregory shows an utter lack of faith and obedience when it comes to Maggie's seizure of power. She eventually calls for his execution, and the group kills him by hanging.
In the most recent issues, Maggie again joins with Alexandria to fight the new and terrifying threat called The Whisperers. Ruled by a ruthless leader called Alpha, The Whisperers are a murderous group disguised as walkers that roams the land nearly undetected. Alpha kills humans and mounts their severed heads on stakes and is actually responsible for the death of King Ezekiel. The last published issue plunges the main characters into the war against this group. When we last see Maggie, Hilltop has caught fire, and she's evacuating with Sophia and Hershel. The fate of the trio is currently unknown.
This Is Not a Drill: You Can Buy Girl Scout Cookies on Amazon!
Girl Scout cookie season only comes once a year, so what's a girl to do when the craving hits at any given moment? Stock up on cookies from Amazon, of course. Yep, that's right - did you know you can order Girl Scout cookies on Amazon, and with Prime shipping? We know; our minds were blown upon this life-changing discovery, too.
Samoas, Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Trefoils, you name it. All your favorite cookies are available for online purchase, meaning you don't have to seek out a Girl Scout cookie-selling location to get your hands on a box (or 10). You can simply add as many to your cart from the comfort of your couch whenever you want . . . this could get very dangerous.
Of course, the convenience comes with a higher price than you'd typically pay for the popular cookies. A box of Thin Mints will cost you $9, while a box of Samoas costs $10. You can also opt for a four-pack of Thin Mints for $27 or a four-pack of Do-Si-Dos for $26. Clearly buying in bulk is the better option.
While this isn't the most budget-friendly way to buy Girl Scout cookies, you gotta do what you gotta do when you're desperate.
This Little Mix Dance Routine Is Stunning - and Straight Out of Cirque du Soleil
Little Mix recently released the music video for their latest single "No More Sad Songs," but it's one of their other upbeat tracks, "Touch," that gets a whole new life with this incredible dance routine.
Choreographer Brian Friedman shared the video to YouTube on Wednesday, showing a group of talented dancers - including two of our favorites, Jade Chynoweth and Maddie Ziegler - busting out their best moves (including gymnastics!) to lyrics like, "Just a touch of your love is enough / To knock me off of my feet all week." The song also got the Ed Sheeran treatment in early March; the singer covered "Touch" for BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge, and his version had us unbuttoning our shirt.
Watch the video above now, then be sure to see more of Jade in this supersexy routine to Tinashe's "Party Favors."
Yes, Hilary Duff Knows Those Disney Channel Commercials Were "Awkward"
I'd like to preface this post with the disclaimer that I will be making an offensive amount of Lizzie McGuire puns, and I will not apologize for it.
A few weeks back, I received an email from a publicist I work with frequently. The subject: "Exclusive Beauty Interview." The body read as follows, with no punctuation: "Can you chat on the phone today briefly." This is PR code for "I've got something big for you, but I can't document it." (And also, "I'm frantically typing this.") Frankly, beauty exclusives are hard to come by, and the term "exclusive" is used so frequently that it's kind of obsolete at this point. The internet has ruined all hopes of ever keeping a major beauty launch under wraps - plenty of brands have been forced at the hands of Instagram to reveal collections several months ahead of a major launch because someone happened to snap an embargoed mailing or got paid to snap photos that they could leak on social media. So I went into the conversation with low expectations.
It was then the clouds parted, the sun shined brightly on my heavily rooted head, and I learned that Hilary Duff was going to be working with hair care and color brand Joico on their new line of blonde-centric products, The Blonde Life. She was going icy blond - a departure from her own heavy roots she'd been sporting - and they wanted to offer us the opportunity to not only film the transformation but meet with Hilary as well.
Needless to say, I was absolutely beside myself. This is what dreams are made of, amirite? I have written about this time and again, and at the risk of sounding like an extra from Mean Girls, at 13, I heard Hilary Duff used Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray, so I bought Mario Badescu Rose Water Spray. I was a middle school plebeian without a Disney paycheck and had no business buying rose water with my hard-earned allowance, but as a fellow Texan and devout Lizzie McGuire fan, I knew she wouldn't steer me in the wrong direction. (And maybe she was paid to hold the product during a pedicure, but clearly I didn't care.) Almost 20 years later, here I am, still using it to spritz away dry skin the political climate has sucked out of my dermis.
Fast-forward: the day has come. Hilary is getting over 200 foils put in her head by Riawna Capri, co-owner of Nine Zero One Salon on Melrose Place. You know Riawna: she works with the TV starlet set: Emma Roberts, Julianne Hough, Nina Dobrev. She's worked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and even gives Steven Tyler extensions every few months.
We're set up in the downstairs blowout area of the salon, separated from the hustle and bustle of salon floor upstairs. The glass doors and windows have been covered with beige paper to keep the paparazzi that followed Hilary after dropping her son of at school from getting a picture, and also, presumably, from gawkers. Hilary is unphased as I walk in: she's catching up on her phone and conversing with Riawna and the assistants. She's comfortable, having worked with Riawna time and again.
Our crew had been filming for about three hours when I showed up at 1 p.m., having come from an earlier interview with Kerry Washington. (I know, I know.) The PR and Joico team were milling about as Riawna applied approximately 200 foils to Hilary's head; they set up a nice area of sweets with The Blonde Life written in icing. Lunch was catered from Heirloom. This was as LA as it gets: a fabulous party of sorts, being filmed, of one Hilary Duff getting the blonding of a lifetime.
My job is to interview people. That doesn't mean I don't occasionally get nervous or giddy. I was trying my best to sedate my inner fangirl and also praying to God she liked me on a personal level. I asked my producer how she was. "She's so sweet. And normal. She's been talking to me," she said. And thank god! Because I couldn't handle it if Hilary Duff was a diva.
Full disclosure: I didn't talk to her much while she was in the chair. I know how I am when I get my hair done: it's like yoga. It's where I zone out. I stare straight into space or gossip with my stylist or colorist, then I get a toe-curling scalp massage and nearly fall asleep during the blowout. (Just me?) But after the big reveal happened, I casually plopped myself down in the chair next to her and got on my phone. Before I knew it, we were chatting about Younger, being from Texas, and our love of queso.
Here's what I have to say about Hilary: she was even more wonderful than I could have imagined. I feel like she was a person who hasn't been jaded by Hollywood. She's got a good head on her shoulders and when she speaks to you, she looks you in the eye and treats you as if you're just as important as someone she's known for years and legitimately cares about. Even though I might never see her again, it was fulfilling as a fan (and professional) to know that people are the same on and off camera.
During our filmed interview, we covered everything: how her new color reminds her of Lizzie McGuire, that photo of her kissing her son ("This was so annoying to me!"), and yes, those Disney Channel commercials.
Check out the full interview above, and let me know your favorite part in the comments section below.
18 Exciting Details We Have About Game of Thrones Season 7
Season six of Game of Thrones came to a bloody end last year, and we're still having some serious withdrawal issues. If you're in the same boat, let's all remember that the end of one season just means the beginning of speculation about another! A lot has been revealed over the past few weeks, so we have a lot to talk about. Here's what we know about what's coming up from the show, the premiere date, all the trailers (there's a new one!), some telling set pictures, and quotes from the cast.
Here's the '90s Classic From Game of Thrones' Season 7 Trailer
A real trailer for season seven of Game of Thrones has landed, and we were so preoccupied with the music that we almost missed all the action. Yes, it's exciting to see Jon, Dany, and Cersei all with their eyes on the prize (the Iron Throne), but could you place that song? It's "Sit Down," a forgotten '90s classic by James. If you had your radio tuned to the alt-rock station around 1991, you've definitely heard it before. Here's the full song:
Is it falling into place? Now that we have a good look at season seven, find out what else we know.
James Van Der Beek Gets Visibly Annoyed During Awkward Morning Show Interview
James Van Der Beek has been in Hollywood for more than 20 years. While the successful actor is most well-known for his role as teenager Dawson Leery in the hit show Dawson's Creek, he's had so many other amazing roles in the almost 14 years since then. But during his appearance on Britain's This Morning on Thursday, hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby didn't seem to want to focus on his impressive career. While attempting to introduce James on their show, they awkwardly talked about the accomplishments of his former costars, calling Katie Holmes "a leading Hollywood actress" and pointing out Michelle Williams's four Oscar nominations. They then said of James: "But what happened to the main man himself? He's here now and this is what he looks like." The camera cuts to a very irritated-looking James, who tries to emphasize that he too has done a lot since Dawson's Creek. See the whole exchange above before inevitably crawling under your desk.
The Most Beautiful Photos of Mexican Food You'll EVER See
Say whatever you want, but Instagram was basically made for food photos that make you salivate - and this beautiful account highlighting Mexican dishes is about to make your tummy roar.
Esteban Castillo, a Mexican-American graphic designer from California, started Chicano Eats as a blog and Instagram account that celebrates the beauty of Mexican dishes. "I'm the type of person that likes to reminisce and recount stories from my childhood. I grew up in a low-income home where for the most part, all we had was food. We never received toys for Christmas, or got any lavish birthday parties, but my mom always had a great meal on the table for us," Castillo told us. "I'm also just insanely proud of my roots and the colorful culture that I am blessed to be a part and in our current political climate I think it is very important that we make our bodies and our stories visible." And does Castillo deliver!
His blog and social media feature beautiful photos of Mexican dishes he whips up at home based on his mom's recipes. "She'll tell me 'Ponle tantito de esto y tantito del otro,' without giving me exact measurements, so it takes a little tweaking to get it just right sometimes," Castillo said. "I have always been into food, and I believe cooking is one of those things that run in your blood. I learned from watching my mom and constantly asking her questions. My grandparents have also always been involved in their community back in Comala, Colima, where they are the go-to 'cocineros' for local celebrations. My passion for food stems from their deep appreciation for it."
In a time of cultural friction in the US, Castillo hopes to highlight the diversity of Mexican food. "I hope my feed starts to counter the narratives that mainstream keeps forcing on us. Mexico is constantly reduced to a few ingredients, and people tend to forget that Mexico is a country with more than just limes and jalapeños. Our cuisine has influences from all over the world!" Scroll ahead for some of Chicano Eats's best photos and recipes.
The Ultimate BFFs Gave Birth Minutes Apart - in Adjoining Hospital Rooms
Since first meeting in the eighth grade, Amanda Irvine and Alex Hankins have done pretty much everything together. The best friends from Indiana grew even closer when they both got pregnant around the same time, but nobody expected that their kids would be doing things together from day one.
These babies had their own plan in mind, and even though their due dates were weeks apart, both mamas ended up giving birth within the same hour. Amanda went into labor first, and while she was in the throes of labor pain, she got a text message from Alex saying her water had broken. When Amanda first found out that her friend was headed in, she couldn't help but be a bit angry because she didn't feel like she was progressing after so many hours. "At that point it was like okay, who is actually going to have their baby first?!" Alex recalled.
After 30 hours in labor, Amanda was the official winner of the baby race. "The doctor delivered Liam, and then walked right next door and delivered Ivie," Amanda told Inside Edition.
Ivie made her debut just 20 minutes later, and the doctor didn't have to travel very far. "Yeah, like changed his gloves, put on a new robe and got my baby out," Alex described.
The moms say they spent their entire pregnancies planning life after the babies were born and now are looking forward to joint birthday parties and mom dates.

13 Sweet, Heartbreaking Things William and Harry Have Said About Princess Diana
Princess Diana and Harry with William on his first day at Eton in September 1995.
It's been nearly 20 years since Princess Diana's tragic death, and the anniversary has brought a renewed interest in her extraordinary (and sometimes scandalous) life as a royal. When Diana passed away in a car accident in August 1997, she left behind her two sons, William and Harry, who were 15 and 12, respectively, at the time. The princes have begun opening up about their mother's death in recent years and have admitted that it took time for them to feel comfortable talking about the huge loss. William told a young boy at a charity event that he was "very angry" about Diana's death and "found it very difficult to talk about."
In addition to speaking about their mother in interviews, William and Harry have taken on a number of her charities and both consider her legacy as one of the driving forces behind their philanthropic efforts. Recently, William bonded with young children who have lost their own parents, telling a little girl, "I lost my mummy when I was young, too. It's very important to talk about it." He and Harry are also erecting a memorial statue in the public gardens of Kensington Palace this year to commemorate her death and her positive impact in the UK and around the world. See more of the sweet, heartbreaking things that Harry and William have said about their late mum.
William and Harry at their mother's funeral in September 1997.
Prince William
- "Time makes it easier. I still miss my mother every day - and it's 20 years after she died."
- "Twenty-one years ago, my mother attended the launch of the Child Bereavement charity. Fifteen years later, I was honored to be invited to become patron of Child Bereavement UK to continue my mother's commitment to a charity which is very dear to me. What my mother recognized back then, and what I understand now, is that grief is the most painful experience that any child or parent can endure."
- "I never realized quite how much of an impact she had. I applaud her for all her dedication and drive, and I think the infectious enthusiasm and all the energy she had really rubbed off on me for causes such as [AIDS research in Africa]."
- "Initially, there is a sense of profound shock and disbelief that this could ever happen to you. Real grief often does not hit home until much later. For many it is a grief never entirely lost. Life is altered as you know it, and not a day goes past without you thinking about the one you have lost. I know that over time it is possible to learn to live with what has happened and, with the passing of years, to retain or rediscover cherished memories."
- "Losing a close family member is one of the hardest experiences that anyone can ever endure. Never being able to say the word 'Mummy' again in your life sounds like a small thing. I too have felt - and still feel - the emptiness on such a day as Mother's Day."
Prince Harry
- "I never really dealt with what had actually happened. So there was a lot of buried emotion, and I still didn't even want to think about it."
- "I really regret not talking about it. It is OK to suffer, but as long as you talk about it. It is not a weakness. Weakness is having a problem and not recognizing it and not solving that problem."
- "It's a huge shame she's not here. But I hope she'd be incredibly proud of what we managed to achieve."
- "I first came [to Africa] in 1997, straight after my mum died. My dad told my brother and me to pack our bags - we were going to Africa to get away from it all."
- "We will do everything we can to make sure she's never forgotten, and carry on all of the special gifts and such that she had and that she portrayed when she was alive. I hope that a lot of my mother's talents are shown in the work that I do."
- "I hope she's looking down [at our family] with tears in her eyes being incredibly proud of what we've established. I'm sure she's longing for me to have kids so she can be a grandmother again . . . but I hope that everything we do privately and officially, that it makes her proud."
- "Losing your mother at such a young age does end up shaping your life massively, of course it does. And now I find myself trying to be there and give advice to other people who are in similar positions."
- "Every day, depending on what I'm doing, I wonder what it would be like if she was here, and what she would say, and how she would be making everybody else laugh. Who knows what the situation would be, what the world would be like, if she were still around."

A Look at Charming Prince Philip Through the Years
Before Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth, she married the handsome foreign Prince Philip from Greece, who also happens to be her third cousin. According to Sally Bedell Smith's biography titled Elizabeth the Queen, Philip came from a tumultuous background despite his lineage. Born in 1921 on the island of Corfu, he moved to Paris at age 1 with his parents, Alice Marie and Prince Andrew of Greece. By age 8, he'd headed to England for boarding school. With generous good looks and confidence, Philip made his way to England with the help of royal relatives. He would later be invited to have lunch with the royal family, and that's when Elizabeth reportedly fell for him. During World War II, Philip served in the Mediterranean and Pacific, and he and Elizabeth wrote each other letters. By 1946, he was back in London and making regular visits to Buckingham Palace. During that Summer, he spent a month at the royal family's Balmoral Estate, where he proposed. Their wedding was held at Westminster Abbey on Nov. 20, 1947.
During their 68 years of marriage, most of them during Elizabeth's reign as the monarch, Prince Philip has been as constant as the queen herself, although he's a bit more controversial, making a few insensitive gaffes. But when he's not giving the press an unfortunate quote to run, he's either by the queen's side, working as a patron for several charities, or, until recently, enjoying carriage racing. Let's look back at pictures of Prince Philip over the years, then see the facts about the British royal family every die-hard fan should know.

Strangers Sent More Than 6,000 Birthday Cards to This Young Cancer Patient
One 8-year-old girl just celebrated her birthday with a little help from strangers all over the world - and she may have set a new record in the process.
At just 13 months old, Olivia Enderle was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. Due to a large malignant tumor in her abdomen, Olivia had her left kidney surgically removed, underwent eight rounds of chemotherapy, and spent more than 200 consecutive days in the hospital.
To make her daughter's eighth birthday on March 26 one for the books, Emily Enderle posted a plea on her Facebook page, Fight For Olivia, asking family, friends, and strangers to send her cards in the mail. Emily set the goal at receiving 100 birthday cards, but boy, was her estimate off!
This Child Ringing a Special Bell After Finishing 1 Year of Chemo Will Make Your Heart Burst
Soon, those hundreds turned into thousands, as strangers from nearly all 50 states - and even China! - sent celebratory messages and gifts to Olivia's home in Michigan. Much to her mother's surprise, they've gotten nearly 6,000 cards to date, and the tally is still rising although the 8-year-old's birthday has already passed. "We are very amazed by the response from this. It has been such an amazing output of love and generosity," Emily told ABC 7.
And it looks like even local officials got in on the birthday fun, as mailmen, police, and firefighters visited Olivia's house to help her celebrate.
This Teen’s “Body Hair Positivity” Photos Unleashed a Massive Brawl About Armpits
No matter how many times we try to disrupt the jarring double standards for men and woman, people are still inexplicably disgusted by the sight and idea of body hair on women. And now, we're here again, riled up over the fact that the internet simply cannot handle a woman with armpit hair. Meet Lalonie, a 17-year-old art student, who after flaunting her body hair in a set of now-viral photos, set Twitter on fire (and unfortunately not because her makeup is so damn stunning).
"Body hair positivity post bc I'd never let misogynistic opinions dictate what I do with my body," she wrote alongside the photos, seen above. Instantly, thousands of people replied to Lalonie, some slamming her as "disgusting" and "dirty," and others praising her for embracing her natural body hair so confidently.
All opinions aside, there is one very obvious similarity between all of the comments: people have very strong feelings, both positive and negative, about body hair on women. All she did was post photos of her natural body hair - something men can do freely without judgment - yet Lalonie received negative backlash for hers. The misogyny is real, and it's hairy.
If her empowering message wasn't enough, can we just appreciate the fact that her armpit hair has been dyed pink and the hair on her stomach is sprinkled with glitter?! Technicolor armpits are in, guys.
Keep reading to see how the drama surrounding Lalonie's photos unraveled on Twitter.
The Walking Dead: Here's What Happens to Dwight in the Comics
Ever since the gruesome premiere, The Walking Dead has been playing a frustrating game of keep-away with many of the main characters. The second episode focused on Carol and Morgan finding sanctuary in King Ezekiel's care, and the third episode shone a spotlight on a character you may have discounted: Dwight. We've seen him in a handful of episodes since, and it appears that the show is echoing Dwight's an important storyline in the comics, but just where does it go? Let's explore what happens with Dwight in the books, because he plays a vital role in the war against Negan.
What We Already Know
We get some of Dwight's interesting and tragic backstory during the third episode. The reason for his attempted escape (when Daryl first encounters him in the woods) is grim: Dwight's wife, Sherry, has a sister, Tina, who needs medication, but she doesn't have enough to get it from the Saviors. Negan tells her that if she'll marry him, he'll put her on his medical plan, so to speak. Dwight, Sherry, and Tina flee the compound, but Tina dies without her meds. Dwight and Sherry return, and in exchange for sparing their lives, Negan marries Sherry (also "superhot," as he says) and puts an iron to Dwight's face. Dwight is now one of Negan's top men, but it's obvious he still despises Negan. In the season's penultimate episode, we learn that Dwight has surrendered himself to Rick's people, saying he wants to help them.
What Happens in the Comics
Dwight's animosity toward Negan reaches a fever pitch when Negan keeps pushing his sex life with Sherry in Dwight's face, and Dwight decides he's had enough. He becomes a double agent, going over to the Kingdom to share information about Negan and the Saviors with Rick and Ezekiel. At first, they don't trust him, then he reveals the story of how he got his scar. They agree to work with Dwight, and he lays low until war eventually breaks out between the Saviors and Ezekiel's people. He successfully sabotages Negan's efforts to shoot everyone with infected arrows. At one point, Dwight shoots Rick with an arrow, but it's not infected. Rick is able to recover and slash Negan's throat, but Negan survives and becomes Rick's prisoner.
Dwight becomes the de facto leader of the Saviors, who are now relatively tame without Negan at the helm. Later, he assists Rick in the battle against the Whisperers and eventually helps Negan fight the Whisperers as well. After the ordeal with Negan, his relationship with Sherry never recovers, and Dwight remains a tragic figure.
We'll find out how similar the show's storyline will be on the season finale.
You'll Want to Buy Lana Del Rey's New Album Based on This Teaser Alone
Two months after the release of her single "Love," Lana Del Rey has announced that a new album is "coming soon." The singer posted a video on Facebook, teasing that she's been thinking about exactly what she wants to say with her new music. The video feels just like an old episode of The Twilight Zone, with a dash of Bewitched. The album, Lust For Life, will be her first since 2015's Honeymoon. I highly recommend watching the retro video, but if you just want the highlights, here's what her voice-over says:
"You know, in this town, an artist really needs a lot of space when they're trying to create something special. A place to cultivate a world of their own, far away from the real world that's around them. Luckily for me, I live right inside the middle of the H of the Hollywood sign. And this is how I spend most of my nights: perched high above the chaos that swirls within the city of angels below.
Now don't get me wrong, I love to dip my toe into the muck and the mires of the city every now and then. Especially on Tuesdays. But truthfully, when I'm in the middle of making a record, especially now when the world is in the middle of such a tumultuous period, I find I really need to take the space for myself far away from real life, to consider what my contribution to the world should be in these dark times.
So each morning, I have the luxury of asking myself, 'What shall I cook up for the kids today? Something with a little spice? Something with a little bitterness but is ultimately sweet? Or shall I take the day off and turn down the fire, and just take a moment to send my love to them over the ether?' Because sometimes, just being pure of heart and having good intentions and letting them be known is the most worthy contribution an artist can make.
So, even though these times can feel a little bit crazy, they're not so very different from what other generations have experienced at one time or another before. Amidst all the uncertainty, and as we transition out of one era into another one, there's no place I'd rather be than smack-dab in the middle of Holly-weird making this record for you. Because you, and the music, and this place, are my love, my life, my Lust For Life."
Yes, You Do Need to Watch This Video of Prince Charles Dancing in Romania
Prince Charles may be a well-behaved royal, but he also isn't afraid to bust out some moves once in a while. After landing in Romania on Thursday for a day-long visit, Charles wasted no time in getting to know the local people and culture. The British royal, whose visit kicks off a European tour with stops in Italy, Vatican City, and Austria, did a traditional dance with the Burnasul ensemble while spending time in Bucharest. A video of the fun moment was posted on Twitter, and you're definitely going to want to watch it. And of course, this isn't the first time a royal has let their hair down. Everyone from Prince Harry to Kate Middleton has been known to give into the rhythm from time to time.

Meet Arket, H&M's New Brand That's Guaranteed to Take All Our Money
Pack your bags, shoppers, because H&M has announced the launch of a new brand, Arket, with stores coming to 18 European countries this year. While the company has prided itself on affordable price points and stylish products, Arket items will be slightly more expensive. The company said that the stores will be "a modern-day market, offering essential products for men, women, children, and the home."
In addition to selling its own Arket-branded items, the new stores will sell other non-H&M brands. But that's not all - some stores will also include cafes to fully incorporate the healthy, modern lifestyle Arket is promoting. While the stores are starting in Europe, our fingers are crossed the brand will eventually make its way to the United States.
"The brand DNA is timeless, crisp, quality, and warmth," Ulrika Bernhardtz, Arket's creative director, told Business of Fashion. "Timeless is style beyond trend. And crisp is the counterpart to that: to be always relevant, modern, and fresh. Quality is not only the feel of garments; it's also how they are produced. Warmth is about being genuine and personal."

I Didn't Want a Third Child - Then I Got Unexpectedly Pregnant
Impossible. That was the only word I could muster when the stick flashed "PREGNANT" before my eyes.
After a few moments of standing frozen in time, I fell to the floor and cried. But not tears of joy. Instead, I was overcome with emotions of fear, confusion, and dare I say it, anger.
You see, I was not planning on getting pregnant. With a 6-year-old girl and a 6-month-old boy, my family was complete. I knew my husband wanted a third and was willing to table the discussion for the time being. But in my mind, that discussion was never going to happen. We'd been through a lot in the past six months - challenges that tested our parenting, our marriage, and our financial security. In no way did I think adding a third human being to the fold would do anything but cause additional problems.
To say the pregnancy was a shock was an understatement.
To say the pregnancy was a shock was an understatement. I got pregnant with my oldest daughter with barely any effort, but I struggled to have our second. Two years, three miscarriages, and infertility specialists left both my husband and me emotionally bruised.
Although we were thrilled to bring a second child into our family, his arrival threw our world off balance. He had colic, wouldn't sleep, didn't take to breastfeeding, and was an overall difficult infant. I struggled with the baby blues, often snapping at my older daughter for no reason or wishing someone would just take the baby away from me.
My husband and I were tired, leading to fights in the middle of the night over what to do to calm the baby down. We'd fight over email about what time he'd be home from the office and fight over text about how we'd pay for daycare once I went back to work. Then, we'd fight about our fight the night before. It was a hurricane of arguments and emotions that spun around me for months.
But it got better. The baby started sleeping, I went back to work and reclaimed my professional footing. The train - which had veered off track - was finding its way back. My husband and I took a long weekend away together.
And then that pregnancy test.
I called my husband to break the news. After a pregnant pause (pun intended), he managed to stammer a nervous, "Umm . . . congratulations . . . ?" He then explained how a third child, though unexpected, would round out our family. I cursed him, thinking he had somehow done this purposefully.
For two months following, I experienced almost every emotion possible. At first I was in denial. Other than my traitorous husband, I didn't tell anyone I was expecting. I didn't schedule a doctor's appointment, and I continued about my life as if nothing had changed.
I was angry. Angry at God who was obviously playing a cruel joke on me, and angry at my husband for getting me pregnant.
My anger turned to guilt. I had more than a few friends struggling with infertility - I've helped give them their shots and cried with them after countless disappointments. I was guilty that I was the one who was pregnant, not them. And I was guilty for feeling angry about something that I knew deep down was such a miracle.
I wish I could say there was one moment where the skies opened and I felt joy or peace about the impending birth.
I wish I could say there was one moment where the skies opened and I felt joy or peace about the impending birth. To be honest, I was mostly afraid. I was scared that another child would destroy my marriage or deprive my other children of the love they needed from me. I was afraid I could not be a mom, much less a good one, to three kids.
Eight months after I sat in a puddle of tears on my kitchen floor, my third child, and second daughter, arrived. Nine beautiful pounds of squishy perfection. I won't lie and say it's been all rainbows and sunshine, but I will say that I truly believe I was meant to be a mother of three. It may not have been my plan, but it was the plan for me.
My youngest daughter brings a source of light and joy to our home that I've never seen before. Watching my son - now almost 2 - try to tickle her feet, feed her a bottle, or bring her a blanket melts my heart every single time. Witnessing my oldest daughter take on such a leadership role in the house has been remarkable.
My marriage is stronger, too. My husband and I have learned to come together as a team, communicate better, be honest with our feelings, and share in the brief moments of silence in our house after all the kids are asleep and we can just be.
I think back to that day - the positive pregnancy test day - often. I don't regret my initial emotions. They were real. And while I will never shy away from saying that my third was unplanned, I now know she was always wanted.
15 Holographic Products to Complete Your Transformation Into a Unicorn
If you've been watching the beauty space over the past six months, it should come as no surprise to you that "mermaid" or "unicorn" products are having a major moment. And it isn't only the packaging that makes these items magical! The formulas themselves boast a mesmerizing sheen, which many brands and fans are calling holographic.
However, this is something of a misnomer. Nail polish junkies in particular know that the term holographic specifically refers to a kind of glitter particle that flashes with a rainbow or diamond-like sparkle. Some "unicorn" products fit into this category, but more often, they're iridescent. The colors in this family present as one shade at first glance but flash a few different colors depending on lighting. (For reference, think of the silver, green, gold, and blue casts you can see on a black pearl.)
We say, the more color, sparkle, and glitter, the merrier! We're absolutely fans of this trend and will continue rocking unicorn products long after they're out of style. To help feed your own addiction, keep reading; we've rounded up 15 of our favorite eye-catching prismatic products.
See What Too Faced's Magical "Unicorn Tears" Lipstick Looks Like on Different Skin Tones
Too Faced's iridescent lipstick came out months and months ago, but it seems that unicorn-beauty-lovers are just starting to fall in love. The magical Unicorn Tears shade ($22) boasts a holographic, bluish shimmer that is transcendent whether worn alone or layered on top of another shade. (Even better, pair it with Anastasia Beverly Hills's Moonchild Glow Kit on cheekbones for a mythical highlight.)
Though Halloween has long since passed, true #UnicornTribe members know that dedication to fantastical beauty is a year-round passion. Before you snag this gorgeous product, read on to see swatches and how it lights up different skin tones.
American Women Revealed How Much They Spend on Beauty - and the Amount Will Blow Your Mind
If you've been feeling a bit guilty lately about excessive beauty spending, you might want to sit down for this one. Beauty retailer SkinStore recently conducted a survey on the spending habits of American women when it comes to makeup and skin care. The brand found that the average woman spends over $300,000 in their lifetime on face products.
As it turns out, though, that's not the only shocking piece of information from the survey (but realizing our favorite swag could cost even more than the typical cost of medical school is kind of outrageous!). We discovered the cost breakdown of the average face adds up to about $8 per day, with many using up to 16 products every morning.
The states that are racking up major bills on beauty are predominately located on the East Coast, with New Yorkers and Connecticut-based babes having the most expensive faces at $11 daily. New Yorkers are also the slowest to apply their products in the morning, spending up to 21 minutes in front of the mirror. On the flip side, Californians spend three minutes max on their beauty routine (ladies, please share your speedy secrets!).
Keep reading below to discover more fascinating facts about American beauty routines, and start budgeting. Considering the price of your look, you might want to skip that fancy morning coffee.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Just Took Her Maternity Style Up a Notch
When Rosie Huntington-Whiteley confirmed she and fiancé Jason Statham are expecting a baby, she did it with style. The supermodel posted a bikini shot taken on the beach by Jason on Instagram. While we can't say we didn't notice her chevron-print triangle bikini, it was hard to miss her growing belly and obvious glow.
Rosie brought that right along with her when she stepped out at the Vanity Fair Oscars bash, flaunting her new figure in a custom Atelier Versace dress that featured a single sleeve and very high slit. From there, she took it to the streets in her new Paige bomber jacket. With Rosie's clear handle on fashion, we can only expect so many more great maternity looks in her future.

Brad Pitt's War Movie For Netflix Looks Way Funnier Than You Think
There's nothing quite like a man in uniform. Netflix has unleashed the full trailer for its absurdist war story War Machine, and we can't get over how different Brad Pitt looks. Donning bleach blond hair and a forced Ken doll smile, the actor stars as General Glenn McMahon, a man set in leading the modern war machine until a journalist swoops in to write an all-telling exposé. The movie, which is inspired by the book The Operators: The Wild & Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan by the late journalist Michael Hastings, also includes an A-list cast featuring Tilda Swinton, Ben Kingsley, Anthony Michael Hall, and Topher Grace, just to name a few. You can catch the movie in its entirety when it hits the streaming service on May 26.
Little Mix Channels Coyote Ugly in Their "No More Sad Songs" Music Video
Little Mix is in the house, y'all. After releasing their latest album, Glory Days, in 2016, the British girl group's music has been dominating the charts. They blessed the world with its latest breakup anthem, "Shout Out to My Ex," before following it up with the equally catchy "Touch." And now their latest music video for "No More Sad Songs" will leave you feeling anything but sad. In the video, members Perrie, Jade, Leigh-Anne, and Jesy walk into a country bar in Coyote Ugly-esque outfits. In addition to playing pool and dancing on the bar, they also ride a mechanical bull. We don't know whether we want to book a trip to Nashville or buy our first pair of assless chaps.

You'll Be Obsessed With Swatches of the Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Collaboration
After some major anticipation, we've finally got the official scoop on the Jeffree Star x Manny MUA launch, and boy, is it good! In a video on Manny's channel, the two got together for a reveal. We knew that the collab would include some liquid lipsticks and a highlighter, but we know what the shades inside are.
As you know, the packaging (including the boxes, compact, and tube) is black, and this is a first for Jeffree's range. The accent is holographic, which is so hot right now. We're particularly enamored that both Jeffree and Manny's signature logos - a star and a moon, respectively - are on every aspect of the products, including the sticker on the back of the highlighter compact and pressed into the powder itself.
The collection officially launches at 10 a.m. PT on April 8, and you'll be able to purchase all three items in a bundle for $50. However, if you'd rather buy items one piece at a time, the liquid lipsticks will cost $18 and the Skin Frost will be $29. In another first, Jeffree is allowing the use of a discount code on his website. Enter MANNYMUA at checkout and you'll be able to get 10 percent off individual items from the collaboration.

Ashley Graham's Dress Is Perfect For a Music Festival - and Super Affordable
When you think festivalwear, your mind automatically goes to flowy maxi dresses, crop tops, and a whole lot of bold prints. Coachella is one music festival where celebrities spend a lot of time and effort choosing what outfits they're going to wear. We get it, since half the time we're more interested in what they're wearing than what bands they're going to see.
Supermodel-turned-designer Ashley Graham already has her own line of swimsuits, and now she's showing off her latest endeavor: a clothing line with Dressbarn called Beyond by Ashley Graham. Ashley gave us a behind-the-scenes look at her fittings on Instagram, wearing a floral, cold-shoulder dress from her new line, and it's perfect for festival season. Hailey Baldwin Has a Thing For These 18K Gold Earrings
Hailey Baldwin is undoubtedly the queen of swimsuits and the model knows how to post a good Instagram pic like it's nobody's business. But rather than talking about her overall laid-back style (which is chock-full of bomber jackets and high-waisted jeans), we're zooming on a pair of earrings that have been making an appearance in a lot of her 'grams recently. Hailey seems to love her 18K Ippolita Classico Medium Hoop Earrings ($1,295) so much that we've spotted them in five of her photos so far. See how she styles them below, then shop the exact pair along with similar styles at a more affordable price point.
Selena Gomez's Haunting Cover of "Only You" Will Break Your Heart in 2
Selena Gomez is back and better than ever (not that you had any doubts). After entering rehab and spending time out of the spotlight for a few months, the pop star recently returned with a ridiculously catchy single, "It Ain't Me," that had fans champing at the bit for more new music. Thankfully Gomez has just gifted us with another track: a cover of Yazoo's 1982 hit "Only You" for the 13 Reasons Why soundtrack. She serves as executive producer on the Netflix drama - which follows high school student Clay, who receives a series of cassette tapes recorded by Hannah, a classmate who recently committed suicide - and said on Twitter that the song was "inspired by Hannah and Clay's story." It's haunting, beautiful, and quite possibly her most emotional song yet.
