Jennifer Aniston Stunned in This Daring Leather Minidress

Jennifer Aniston stepped out in LA Tuesday night to support her husband Justin Theroux. The gorgeous couple struck a pose in matching black ensembles at the season three premiere of HBO's The Leftovers, which Justin stars in.

While the night was all about Justin, we couldn't look away from Jennifer in her daring leather ensemble. She stunned in a look that differs from her typical fashion choices in a one-shouldered minidress from designer Brandon Maxwell's FW 17 collection. The number features a modern ruffle accent on the side. Jennifer finished her look off with gold Jennifer Meyer open circle earrings and black satin strappy sandals by Gianvito Rossi. Have a look at her full look and shop similar versions of her leather dress below.

Breaking Down Melania Trump's Official Portrait Outfit, Sparkly Neck Tie and All

There are many style differences between Melania Trump and former First Lady Michelle Obama, but Melania makes that no more clear than in her her first official portrait, which was just released by the White House along with the following statement: "I am honored to serve in the role of First Lady, and look forward to working on behalf of the American people over the coming years."

While some Twitter commenters are calling out her 13-carat engagement ring, we are more focused on the detailing of her Dolce & Gabbana blazer. Melania nixed classic jewelry - Michelle Obama famously wore strands of pearls for both her portraits - for an embellished neck tie covered in sequins. The style update is notable and frankly pretty unmissable though Melania's outfit is black. (No one ignored the sleeveless silhouette of Michelle's LBD in 2009 either.)

Despite past scrutiny about first lady fashion choices, many people are noting that Nancy Reagan wore a pussy bow blouse in her signature red in 1981, a silhouette that Melania seems to favor that can even be considered modest. At the end of the day, Melania's neckerchief offers a glittering wink to remind us of her ties to the fashion industry. After all, it's certainly garnering plenty of comments (both positive and negative) on Stefano Gabbana's Instagram tribute, thanking Melania for choosing one of his looks.

3 Easy Steps to Make Your Urban Garden a Reality This Spring

The hardest part about becoming an urban gardener is making the leap from wanting and thinking about a plot in the city to actually starting one. I would know - I made a few feeble attempts over the years (note: starting from seeds takes forever, basil doesn't particularly love water, and yes, squirrels will steal everything you grow if you let them).

If you're tired of scrolling through Instagram and seeing all the gorgeous blooms from lifestyle bloggers or looking out your window and seeing the side of the next building over, read on for 3 easy steps to make your urban garden a reality this spring.

1. Know what you want to grow

Before you even google tips for starting an urban garden and how to choose the right supplies, make a list of the plants or types of plants you want to have in your garden. Which ones do you already know (snapdragons, pansies, basil, etc.)? Do you want to have flowers, herbs, or vegetables?

Making this your very first step will help the overwhelming task of creating a garden be significantly more doable.

2. Know your space

Perhaps most important is having an understanding of your space. Regardless of what you want to grow, it may be dictated by your environment. Different plants need different types of soil, hours of sunlight, and amounts of water. The amount of water and type of soil can be readily fixed in an urban garden, so really, you just need to know how many hours each day your garden area receives direct or indirect sunlight. This will have the greatest impact on the plants you can successfully grow in your garden. So, take the list you made of the plants you know, and would like to grow, and see if they work best with partial or full sun.

Of course, not all of us living in the city are lucky enough to have outdoor space - not even a fire escape! In these instances, I'm sorry, I've been there. But don't worry, a sunny windowsill can still work great, as does investing in a grow light and a hydroponic indoor plant system.

3. Start small

If you're just getting started with gardening, don't try to tackle it all at once - start with two or three plants, get them under your belt and growing strong before expanding your garden. I know, I know, it's so tempting to make a huge trip to Home Depot or make an order online, but less really is more when you're first digging in.

Keeping in mind the different needs of each plant, you want to make sure you have enough resources to ensure all the plants grow strong and bloom. For example, if you only have one corner of shade, you don't to make that big trip and come home with enough plants to fill half your outdoor space that all want partial sun. You won't be able to give all of them what they need.

Sometimes none of the above matters, and the hardest part is simply starting. That's okay. It's natural for hobbies to fall on the priority list when life gets hectic. But when you're ready to start planting, don't let the millions of options of pots, plants, different soils, fertilizers, gardening gloves, trellises, etc. bog you down (read: avoid the online browsing trap!). Pick the first pot you see that you like, bring home the plants you're familiar with/that will grow well with the amount sunlight you have, and begin.

As Janet Kilburn Phillips once said, "There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments."

Craigslist has long been our go-to source for used furniture deals and secondhand steals, but there's no denying that the online classified website comes with its own set of risks, from sketchy sellers and unreliable buyers to goods that aren't all they seem. Keep reading to discover the five sites that have taken the best of Craigslist, refined the process, and made it easier than ever to buy and sell online.

The 1 Makeup Tip That Totally Changed My Beauty Routine

Listen, I don't want to sound too over-the-top about this, but I'm honestly not sure how I lived before I embraced makeup-setting spray. A refreshing mist? A full face of makeup that actually lasts? The product's promises seemed too good to be true. (Spoiler alert: they weren't.)

It all started when I learned that I'd be doing my own makeup as a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding. I've cried during literally every wedding ceremony I've ever attended, so I panicked at the thought of standing at the sunny altar beside my best friend, mascara and concealer dripping down my face, all runny makeup and bloodshot raccoon eyes. Not helping matters at all? I was also pregnant, which meant I was perpetually hot (see: red, sweaty forehead) and even more emotional than usual. Yikes.

Enter our beauty editors, who recommended a few waterproof eyeliners and suggested that I try a setting spray. Until then, I'd only used setting sprays on a handful of occasions, once when I had my makeup done plus a few times in college when a friend shared her spray before going out. I'd thought of it as a product for "real" beauty girls - people who used foundation and highlighter and who knew how to apply liquid eyeliner. I am not one of those people, and with my simpler routine, setting spray didn't feel worth it.

My turn as a pregnant bridesmaid felt like the right time to try it, though - I was going to need all the help I could get - so I combed through our list of the best setting sprays to find one that might suit me. I have incredibly sensitive skin that became even more sensitive during pregnancy, so after reading some reviews and checking ingredient lists, I purchased Urban Decay's All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray ($31), which is free of oils and parabens.

Here's where I tell you that I don't typically get makeup-related compliments. I'm a concealer, mascara, and simple eyeliner kind of girl, and by the end of the day, my eyeliner is slightly smudged and the concealer has usually faded.

But damn if my makeup didn't stay put (and somehow look brighter?) during that wedding. It gave me a glowy look that usually escapes me thanks to my powder bronzer, and I didn't need to reapply mascara or eyeliner like I typically do. Even after hours in the sun and on the dance floor, plus a handful of tears during the ceremony, my drugstore makeup held up. It felt like a true pregnancy miracle.

The real miracle worker at play, of course, was the setting spray, which I now use nearly every weekend. A daytime BBQ? Sweat isn't a problem. All-night dance party? I leave looking almost the same as when I arrived.

So, OK, it may not change your life, but it will definitely up your makeup game.

4 Big Reasons Fixer Upper Addicts Will Love HGTV's Home Town

We know, you love Fixer Upper's Chip and Jo (who doesn't?), but it might be time to make room in your heart and DVR for another HGTV couple. Home Town is the network's new hit show in the making, and with good reason. The same HGTV exec behind Fixer Upper zeroed in on a magical formula that audiences can't seem to get enough of. Like Chip and Joanna Gaines, Home Town's Ben and Erin Napier are big-hearted, wildly talented, small-town Southerners who transform dated houses into dream homes for their clients. Sound familiar? While you might be tempted to label the show as a Fixer Upper knockoff, here are four fascinating things about Home Town that set it apart.

Erin's Adorable Art Sketches

Like Chip and Joanna, Ben and Erin present their clients with a few old homes that have major potential. While Joanna describes the changes she would make to her clients, Erin presents them with a colorful, frame-worthy sketch of their home's exterior to help them envision the curb appeal. Instead of using the high-tech 3D rendering program Joanna uses to describe plans for the interior, Home Town viewers watch as storybook-like illustrations pop up on the screen.

Their Salvaging Adventures

While Chip and Joanna peruse antique shops for charming vintage finds, Ben and Erin's approach to treasure hunting relies more on scouring the city for reclaimed goods. Whether they're exploring an abandoned school or hitting up a local bowling alley, it's thrilling to see what they uncover.

Erin's DIY Tips

If you've ever marveled at Nicole Curtis's knowledge for getting old homes to sparkle, you'll be happy to learn similar tips from Erin. In a recent episode, Erin shares her go-to hack for refurbishing old hardware that is covered in paint. She places it in a slow cooker with detergent and then easily scrapes the paint off with a sanding block. Who knew!

Local Artist Spotlights

Ever wondered how a gaslight fixture is made or how an art dealer advises on the perfect piece of wall decor? Home Town invites viewers to follow Erin along as she meets with local artists and business owners to source her design finds.

William, Kate, and Harry Join Families of Terror Attack Victims at a Church Service

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Prince Harry have been pretty busy the last few weeks, but the trio dedicated much of their Wednesday to paying their respects to the four people who lost their lives in the tragic terrorist attack in London in late March. Just as William recently did while touring a Remembrance Centre in the UK, he honored the victims' memories by laying down a floral wreath. The invite-only multifaith service was held at Westminster Abbey, and the royals were joined by the victims' grieving family members, people injured in the attack, emergency service workers, and London Mayor Sadiq Khan. Home Secretary Amber Rudd gave the first reading, and then William took the podium to read a Bible passage.

In the wake of the March 22 attack, the royal family has been vocal about their support of the victims. Both William and his father, Prince Charles, visited hospitals to talk to patients and to thank the London Ambulance Service paramedics who got the injured medical attention in time to save their lives. During a Mother's Day appearance at London's Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Kate also sent her "thoughts and prayers to all those sadly affected by yesterday's terrible attack in Westminster."

Toddler Shuts Down a Cashier Who Told Her to Pick Out a "Different" Doll

After Sophia successfully pooped on the potty for an entire month, she was allowed to pick out a special prize. Not surprising to her parents, Brandi and Nick, Sophia wanted a new doll.

As her mom explained, "the obsession is real" when it comes to dolls for this little girl, but a cashier at the store threatened to ruin her excitement - simply because of the color of her new toy's skin. While Sophia and Brandi were checking out, the employee asked the toddler if she was going to a birthday party. Both the mom and daughter gave the woman a blank stare. She then asked if Sophia picked the doll out for a friend.

"Sophia continued to stare blankly and I let the cashier know that she was a prize for Sophia being fully potty trained," Brandi shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page. "The woman gave me a puzzled look and turned to Sophia and asked, 'Are you sure this is the doll you want, honey?'"

Sophia found her voice and replied, "Yes, please!" but the woman still didn't back down. "But she doesn't look like you. We have lots of other dolls that look more like you," the cashier said, according to Brandi.

Brandi immediately became angry, but before she could say anything, Sophia began explaining all of the ways she and her new doll are alike. "Yes, she does. She's a doctor like I'm a doctor. And I'm a pretty girl and she's a pretty girl. See her pretty hair? And see her stethoscope?" Sophia told the stranger.

The cashier finally dropped the conversation, but the unexpected exchange had a lasting impact on this mom. "This experience just confirmed my belief that we aren't born with the idea that color matters," she wrote. "Skin comes in different colors just like hair and eyes, and every shade is beautiful."

It's Not Selena Gomez's Outfit That'll Catch Your Eye - It's Her Alice in Wonderland Bag

When Selena Gomez took her family to Disneyland, she was casually dressed down in a navy Adidas pullover and matching sweats. The athleisure ensemble was cute and cozy, but it didn't exactly scream "I'm at Disneyland!" That is, until we saw a glimpse of the grooviest Alice in Wonderland bag. The '70s-style graphics, printed on the front of her shoulder bag, referenced several characters and important items (the potion bottle!) from the animated film, and it was this accessory that completely changed the direction of Selena's theme-park look.

She may not have worn Mickey Mouse ears like some other celebs who have gone to Disneyland, but the whimsical bag proved she's truly a Disney girl at heart. Not a bad choice as a carryall to one of the happiest places on Earth. Selena then topped off her comfy look with her trusted Converse x Jack Purcell low tops. Scroll on to have a closer look at the Alice in Wonderland piece yourself.

The Walking Dead: The Meaning Behind the Toy Soldier That Daryl Finds

The Walking Dead may have wrapped another season, but that doesn't mean the zombie drama wasn't going to raise a few more questions in the process. After a drawn-out season culminating with Rick and company finally facing off against Negan, we're left with several Easter eggs that may or may not be significant later on.

Among them is the mysterious wooden soldier that Daryl comes across at the end of the episode. With the words "DIDN'T KNOW" written on the back, it's pretty clear that this will have some importance later on. And since it looks identical to the one Dwight carved back in season six, it's safe to assume that this figure also came from him. But what does that message mean? Is he trying to say he didn't know Jadis and the Scavengers would betray Rick like that? Is he still on Rick's side? What's going on, Jon Snow wooden figure?

With season eight not arriving until the Fall, there's plenty of time to speculate.

The Surprising Truth About Refrigerating Butter

One of the most heated debates in the kitchen is whether or not you should refrigerate butter. Some people cringe at the thought of leaving butter on the countertop, while others swear there's nothing worse than cold, hard butter straight from the fridge. It's an understandable question with an even more complicated answer. The short answer? It's OK to leave it out - with some restrictions.

While butter is a dairy product, it's mostly fat, meaning that it's less susceptible to bacteria. Salted butter is even less prone to bacterial growth than unsalted butter because of its sodium content, so the shelf life of the two types of butter is slightly different. When it comes to leaving butter out of the fridge, the first important rule is that it should be kept in a butter crock or a similar airtight container. If butter is exposed to air, it spoils much more quickly. When properly sealed in the container after each use, salted butter sitting out in a crock will last about two weeks, according to Organic Authority. If room temperature in your kitchen reaches above 70°F, however, it's best to refrigerate ASAP. But unsalted butter is best left in the fridge at all times.

If you need softened butter for baking but didn't give it a chance to reach room temperature, the trick is to grate the butter so it becomes soft.

The Grim Reaper Makes Its Deadly Debut in This Hilarious New Meme

It's only fitting that after people called 2016 garbage and the worst year ever, a new meme would pop up in 2017 that takes that feeling a step further. The internet's new obsession (and meme) is a photo of a normal guy talking to a person dressed up as the Grim Reaper at a bus stop.

The meme is mostly calling out people who use the slang term "I'm dead." People use "I'm dead" to usually mean they think something is so funny, they can't even handle it anymore. People also use "dead" at parties or events that aren't fun.

Check out some of the funniest examples we could find ahead, and see if you like the meme. Hint: you will.

Tarek El Moussa Just Revealed What Pushed Him to File For Divorce and It Might Shock You

When Tarek El Moussa filed for divorce from wife and HGTV partner in crime Christina El Moussa in December 2016, we had a lot of questions, and now, he's telling all. Tarek recently sat down with Us Weekly to talk about what caused his split, as well as that shocking incident where Christina called the cops on her then-husband in May of last year.

"It was a gradual thing over time," the Flip or Flop star said when asked about what went wrong in his marriage. "We were both very busy people with health issues and kids. We didn't fight, we just grew apart." He explained that his battle with cancer took a toll on their relationship, as well as Christina's fertility issues and their miscarriage after having Taylor, 6, and before welcoming Brayden, 16 months.

Although the news of their split was shocking, fans were even more shocked to find out that Tarek and Christina decided to continue filming the show despite their divorce. When asked if it was awkward, Tarek said, "You have good days and bad days. Now we say, 'Hi, good morning.' We film together and talk about houses and the kids. . . . We'll be together for the rest of our lives because we have kids. We need to get along for the kids and for our sanity."

True that! But things did not seem so cordial between the parents of two after the news broke that Christina called the cops on Tarek after he left their home with a handgun in his backpack. As for why she called 911, Tarek said, "You'd have to ask her. It was blown out of proportion. I went hiking in Chino Hills State Park. We have bobcats, mountain lions. I took my gun only for protection."

He said that they went through counseling to try to work things out, but they realized a separation was the right decision. "Over the Summer, I moved out," Tarek said. "We thought it was best to have space. We didn't want the kids to see us upset."

Although there were some suspicious rumors about Tarek hiring a private investigator to check on Christina, he refuted the claims and said he was "done worrying about the past."

So, how's he doing since the split? In addition to saying he's "totally moved on," Tarek truly sounds like he's living his best life. "My goal is to create memories, and I think I'm doing that," he said. "I'm the happiest I've been in a long time. It takes a situation like this, where you get knocked down and you rebuild yourself into the person you want to be. I'm becoming the person I want to be."

9 Things You Never Knew About Your Child's Day at School, Straight From a Teacher

While parents understand that a lot happens in between dropping their child off at school and seeing them at the end of the day, many don't recognize exactly what it's like. Along with the books, tests, and classroom assignments, your child's world is revolving around actively turning into a little person within his or her classroom community. In order for parents to better relate to their children and understand their daily experiences, one anonymous teacher shared nine things about a typical school day that most parents don't realize - but should.

They turn into your mini me - for better or for worse.

Why your child acts or speaks a certain way usually all makes sense to teachers come parent-teacher conferences. But your mannerisms and expressions aren't the only things your little one brings to the classroom; they also share your team spirit, work ethic, and drive - or lack thereof. Your problems also have a way of creeping into your child's day and teachers as well as their friends definitely pick up on it. The impact of a fight you had that your little one overheard or a chaotic morning can be observed in your child even after you've forgotten about it.

Recess means something different for every child.

Most kids love recess, but it can be for two very different reasons. While this time is an opportunity to go outside and run around with friends, some embrace it as a chance to spend time with their teacher in a more personal setting. Sometimes recess is when your child is thriving on the court or making new friends, but it can also be when they are developing confidence and feeling secure in the classroom setting thanks to some extra time inside instead of out.

Just because they do it at home doesn't mean they can do it at school.

Oftentimes parents are frustrated with tests that are marked incorrect because they know their child can do it - they even saw them answering those questions correctly at home! However, this can be a warped sense of reality and parents need to understand what they see at home isn't what happens at school because of their involvement. Parents who hover too much during homework time or "help" with assignments are actually hurting their child's growth because when they have to do the same work at school (and independently), they don't know how. These kids don't know how to correctly answer questions in school even though they got them right at home because they don't know how to complete all of the steps with out some extra help from you. Your involvement outside of school can hurt them in the classroom and leave them struggling even more.

Every child has a role within the classroom community.

Your kids are essentially dealing the same politics that parents experience in the adult world. As kids interact within their classroom community, roles are unconsciously given and both kids and teachers work within these labels. Children know who the kind kid is if they're having a bad day, the troublemaker, and the good student, and they naturally embrace their own roles while finding where they fit. Where their spot is on the carpet is also a good indicator of their role - teachers often place the kids they can depend on to pay attention in the back or a shy child next to another who has a reputation for always being friendly. This gives students an equal opportunity to learn within those roles.

Hurt feelings aren't always a bad thing.

School isn't just about reading and writing; it's also about learning social skills that are equally important. During their time in the classroom, children are learning how to become people. Kids can be mean - oftentimes because they don't realize - but when your child's feelings get hurt during the day, it's an invaluable opportunity for them to learn how to react in an appropriate way and recover from the upset.

They blossom when you drop them.

Just because your child seems shy or clingy around you doesn't mean that's how they still are moments after you leave. Some children really do transform into completely different people when they aren't guided by you and it's important for parents to never assume that their child takes on the same role at school as they do at home.

There's way more joy than you realize.

Despite the dread of homework and agony of tests, school can be a bright area for your child. Kids still laugh and play throughout the day and within that, they are learning how to communicate, be good citizens, and work within a community. They might come home upset about the amount of work or a mean kid, but that doesn't mean that there weren't smiles and laughter during the day.

You're probably thinking about them way more than they're thinking about you.

Separation can be hard for some students, but despite the drop-off meltdowns, kids quickly forget the upset after their tears have dried. While many parents spend all morning thinking about how upset their child was and worrying about how he or she is doing, most kids quickly recover and don't realize how much they missed you until you are united again. Even if your child was hysterical when you said goodbye, chances are you weren't the focus of the rest of their day.

Their teacher has their best interests at heart - even if he or she is teaching them Common Core.

Most teachers are just as dedicated to your child's development as you are. Even if it seems like what your child is doing is a waste of time, you have to trust that your child is going to gain something from it, even if it wasn't what or how you learned. If your child comes home with what seems like a ridiculous assignment, often it's because his or her teacher doesn't have a choice in the matter and is embracing it to make the most of the learning opportunity for your kid.

The 1 Huge Detail You Couldn't Have Known About the Big Little Lies Houses

If the richly drawn characters and shocking plot twists weren't enough to lure you into Big Little Lies, surely you at least tuned in to gawk at the multimillion-dollar Monterey, CA, properties. All of the main women on the show (save for Shailene Woodley's Jane) hang their hats in gorgeous homes - but there's something major you may not have realized. "Those houses that everybody is going gaga over - only one of those three is actually in the Monterey Peninsula," said Big Little Lies' location manager Greg Alpert.

In an interview with the New York Post, Alpert divulged that Celeste's (Nicole Kidman) home is the only one that is located near the correct area. It's over in Carmel, one of Monterey's richest suburbs. Madeleine's (Reese Witherspoon) and Renata's (Laura Dern) coastal houses are both 300 miles away, in Malibu. Heck, even Jane's humble abode is actually in Pasadena!

Both Celeste's and Jane's homes were also re-created on soundstages in Los Angeles, and even the sunsets you see while the characters are sipping wine on their balconies are digitally enhanced. The fakery!

Yes, You Definitely Know Who Plays Alex in 13 Reasons Why

13 Reasons Why has slowly taken over our lives, and we've been trying to figure out where we've seen all the cast members before. Some actors, like Brandon Flynn (aka Justin Foley), are just breaking into the industry. Others, like Dylan Minnette (aka Clay Jensen), have been appearing in shows and movies for years. The guy who plays Alex falls into the latter category; his name is Miles Heizer, and he's been acting since 2005, when he appeared on CSI: Miami. That's (probably) not why you know him, though. Heizer starred for six years on NBC's ensemble drama Parenthood. He played Drew Holt, the shy son of Sarah Braverman (Lauren Graham).

If you didn't immediately recognize him, the blond dye job may have thrown you off! In addition to small TV roles, Heizer was in the 2016 film adaptation Nerve alongside Emma Roberts and Dave Franco.

This Is How Chicken Breast Fits Into Your Daily Calorie and Macro Count

Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are a staple in many refrigerators - as a lean source of protein, they are low in fat, are high in protein, and have zero carbohydrates, so they're an excellent food for weight loss. But do you know exactly what you're getting?

You might be surprised to know that a serving of chicken is considered to be three to four ounces, not the whole breast! And while a whole breast will vary in size, it's anywhere from double to triple the standard serving size. There's no harm in eating more chicken - if anything, you're getting way more protein! - but it's always good to know exactly what is going into your body.

Here's a look at the calories and macros of a four-ounce serving of boneless chicken breast, with and without skin. Keep in mind, the USDA recommends getting 5.5 ounces of meat or protein per day.

Serving Size Calories Fat (g) Carbs (g) Protein (g)
4 ounces, no skin 130 3 0 26
4 ounces, with skin 190 10 0 23
