Stephen Curry Sings Disney Songs During His Carpool Karaoke Session
Just in case you had any doubt that Stephen Curry is good at every single thing on Earth, his appearance on The Late Late Show on Monday should put your mind at ease. While host James Corden usually saves his Carpool Karaoke sessions for the music industry's biggest names (he says he made Adele audition for weeks), the Golden State Warriors player got to take his turn in the passenger seat because, yep, he can also sing. After James attempted to give Steph some life lessons while playing mini golf, the two hit the road to belt out some Disney songs. Steph, who is father to daughters Riley and Ryan with wife Ayesha, impressively sang along to Moana's "How Far I'll Go" and Frozen's "Love Is an Open Door." Long story short, he's a legend on and off the court.
Britney Spears's $7M Mansion Is a Small Piece of Paradise
Britney Spears knows a lucrative deal when she sees one. The star just sold a Mediterranean-style mansion in Thousand Oaks, CA. Built in 2010, the property sits on an 8,456-square-foot property in the Lake Sherwood community. Britney originally asked a whopping $8.995 million when she listed the property in Spring 2016 but wound up selling it for a discount at $7 million flat. In addition to a 180-degree view of the Santa Monica mountains, there is a game room, a movie room, two offices, an open kitchen with a formal dining room, and, of course, two ginormous walk-in closets fit for a Hollywood starlet.
Though Britney is saying bye to the mansion, whoever just scooped up up this incredible property will sleep in comfort knowing she once walked the halls and still lives in the neighborhood. As for where Britney will live, the real-estate-savvy singer already owns another $7.4 million Italian villa in the same area. Read on to see the spacious abode she just sold from all angles.

President Obama's New DC Home Needed 1 Major Construction Change For Privacy
The Obama family moved out of the White House in January, but before they could move into their beautiful $5.3 million DC rental, construction crews had to make some last-minute upgrades. According to TMZ, a brick wall was built to fortify the property and the garage was turned into an office with a bathroom, presumably for the Secret Service to use.
The Obamas will be renting the nine-bedroom, eight-and-a-half-bathroom home until Sasha graduates, making former President Barack Obama the first president to stay in Washington DC after his term since Woodrow Wilson. The home, located in the upscale Kalorama neighborhood, is clearly being protected with all the necessary security measures. And in addition to a new brick wall, the Obamas also got a new neighbor - Ivanka Trump and her family moved in just two blocks away to be closer to President Donald Trump in the White House.

The 1 Huge Detail You Couldn't Have Known About the Big Little Lies Houses
If the richly drawn characters and shocking plot twists weren't enough to lure you into Big Little Lies, surely you at least tuned in to gawk at the multimillion-dollar Monterey, CA, properties. All of the main women on the show (save for Shailene Woodley's Jane) hang their hats in gorgeous homes - but there's something major you may not have realized. "Those houses that everybody is going gaga over - only one of those three is actually in the Monterey Peninsula," said Big Little Lies' location manager Greg Alpert.
In an interview with the New York Post, Alpert divulged that Celeste's (Nicole Kidman) home is the only one that is located near the correct area. It's over in Carmel, one of Monterey's richest suburbs. Madeleine's (Reese Witherspoon) and Renata's (Laura Dern) coastal houses are both 300 miles away, in Malibu. Heck, even Jane's humble abode is actually in Pasadena!
Both Celeste's and Jane's homes were also re-created on soundstages in Los Angeles, and even the sunsets you see while the characters are sipping wine on their balconies are digitally enhanced. The fakery!
You've Never Seen Anything Like This Italian Villa Where Old Hollywood Used to Let Loose
When it was first constructed in the 1500s, the Villa d'Este on Lake Como served as a resort for ecclesiastical leaders and local politicians. A few renovations and centuries later, the palatial complex hosted glamorous celebrities and was even the site of an infamous murder.
Though the villa started out as a sort of spiritual resort center, it became a private residence in 1815 when Caroline of Brunswick moved in shortly after separating from King George IV. Decades after her death, the villa became a proper hotel open to the public . . . the very wealthy public, that is. During the Golden Age of Hollywood, celebrities like Bette Davis and Clark Gable vacationed there. Alfred Hitchcock was particularly fond of the villa and visited many times throughout his lifetime.
Around this same time, a notorious murder took place inside of the villa. In 1948, Pia Bellentani shot her lover Carlo Sacchi after he had continued to see other women. The murder took place right after a fashion show that was being held at the villa that evening. Despite the grisly incident, the Villa d'Este continued being an aspirational travel destination and still hosts many celebrities and fashion insiders.
A night's stay does not come cheap: a room can cost anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000. According to many reviews on Trip Advisor, however, tourists can still stop by the villa for a lakeside lunch or a walk through the gardens.
Ahead, you'll find pictures of the timeless and over-the-top estate.
Pepsi Has Pulled Its Controversial Commercial With Kendall Jenner
Update: The Pepsi commercial is no longer available to watch on YouTube. According to The Daily Beast reporter Olivia Messer, Pepsi is pulling the ad. The company added, "We also apologize for putting Kendall Jenner in this position." Jennifer Maloney, a reporter at The Wall Street Journal, also confirmed that Pepsi is pulling the ad and tweeted out the company's full statement.

- Jennifer Maloney (@maloneyfiles) April 5, 2017
We've reached out to Pepsi for additional comment.
Original story: Sometimes, companies hit the right tone when it comes to making statements in commercials. Most of the time, however, the company ends up looking out of touch and leaves the internet shaking its head at it. The newest member to this group? Pepsi, along with Kendall Jenner, for a ridiculous, tone-deaf commercial.
The commercial starts off innocently enough with a protest taking over the streets, signs like "Join the Conversation" popping up. But as Kendall, clad in a blond wig and taking part in a photo shoot, notices the crowd, she realizes where she needs to be - the protest. Kendall wipes off her lipstick and joins the protest, grabbing a Pepsi can in the process. If you're not cringing yet, you will when Kendall walks up to a line of police officers and hands one a Pepsi can. The image is an allusion to when Ieshia Evans, who was standing peacefully in front of police officers at a protest in Baton Rouge, LA, was arrested.
The internet collectively lost it when Pepsi aired this commercial.

Stephen Colbert Perfectly Parodies Sean Spicer With This Muppets Mashup Video
Ever since White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer started holding press briefings, the internet hasn't stopped with the hilarious memes. Spicer makes it almost too easy, as we can all remember from Saturday Night Live's various spoofs on him. Now, even The Late Show With Stephen Colbert is joining in on the fun by mashing up every time Spicer says "phenomenal" with the Muppets song "Mahna Mahna."
The video isn't too long, but the best part might be Spicer's clueless look at 0:20. It's clearly struck a tone with viewers, considering the video has more than 257,000 views. Watch the entire video above and wait for the surprise at the end.
Prince William and Kate Middleton Do a Low-Key Dinner With Pippa's Future In-Laws
Prince William and Kate Middleton joined Pippa Middleton's fiancé, James Matthews, and her future in-laws, David Matthews and Jane Parker, for an intimate family dinner in London on Thursday night. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were photographed leaving the home that Pippa and James share in Chelsea; William kept things casual in jeans and a button-down shirt, while Kate wore a $128 (!) floral Alice Temperley dress, black heels, and simple ponytail. Also on hand for the low-key get-together was Kate and Pippa's brother, James, as well as James Matthews's brother, Spencer, who starred on the British reality show Made in Chelsea and is reportedly serving as best man in James and Pippa's wedding next month. According to an onlooker, the dinner lasted for a little over three hours and the group "all seemed very happy and relaxed." "William was smiling and chatting to Kate as they walked to their car. It looked like they had a good evening," the source added.
Before Pippa and James tie the knot - their ceremony on May 20 will be held at her family's local church in Berkshire - Will and Kate will be celebrating their sixth wedding anniversary at the end of April. While the couple will be in attendance for Pippa's big day, it has been reported that Kate will not act as maid of honor in an effort not to upstage the blushing bride. Instaead, she will likely do a reading at the ceremony, and her kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will also be involved: "Princess Charlotte is going to be one of the flower girls," a source told Us Weekly back in December. "They're planning for Prince George to be a page boy."

How Old Is the Cast of 13 Reasons Why? An Age Investigation
If you're not already obsessing over 13 Reasons Why, it's time to press "play" on the first episode. Netflix's adaptation of the Jay Asher novel has captured our full attention, thanks in large part to the cast. The main characters (save for the parents) are all in high school; we meet most of them during their sophomore year, then see them as they return to school after the Summer as juniors. The actors, however, are all slightly older than their onscreen counterparts. I wanted to know just how much older, so I did some digging. Here are all the ages I could find - a few of the actors have managed to keep their real ages a secret! (I'm looking at you, Christian Navarro.)
Everything We Know About Pippa Middleton's Wedding
In July 2016, Pippa Middleton got engaged to her longtime beau, financier James Matthews, and it didn't take long for excitement to build about the prospect of another wedding fit for a princess (or, in this case, a princess's sister). We've gotten a handful tidbits about the big event, so we're rounding them up here as we learn more. Here are all the details we have about Pippa's upcoming nuptials (so far).
The Date
Pippa and James are set to tie the knot on Saturday, May 20, 2017.
The Venue
The couple will say their vows at the St. Mark's Englefield in Berkshire, UK, officiated by Reverend Nick Wynne-Jones, the resident priest. After walking down the aisle in the historic 12th-century church, wedding guests will travel the six miles to Carole and Michael Middleton's home in Bucklebury for a reception in their 18-acre garden.
The Invitations
Pippa and James snuck save the dates inside their guests' Christmas cards over the holidays. Discreet invitations from the sophisticated Mount Street printers in Mayfair are to be sent out soon.
The Dress
While details on Pippa's gown are scarce, designer Giles Deacon was spotted carrying garment bags into her home back in November, stirring reports that he would be creating the dress. Like many other brides-to-be, Pippa has "a folder of magazine cuttings and pictures she has taken" of the gowns and floral arrangements she likes best.
The Planning
A source told Us Weekly earlier this year that Pippa is a very hands-on bride-to-be - she is an event planner, after all. "Pippa has a specific vision and feels she's learned enough about planning to get stuck into it herself rather than handing it all over to a planner," the insider said. "She doesn't want it to be too expensive or look gaudy. Classic and elegant are two of the words she used to describe it."
The Pre-Celebrations
In March, Pippa was joined by her sister for a ski trip in Maribel, France as part of her hen do celebration. A friend told The Sun that the group "stayed in a really exclusive catered chalet with maids and a chef, who ensured that they were totally spoiled."
The (Royal) Wedding Party
While Kate has reportedly decided to opt out as an official member of Pippa's wedding party (she doesn't want to "upstage her sister"), she will attend with Prince William and likely do a reading at the ceremony. Her kids, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, will also be involved: Charlotte is going to be one of the flower girls, and George will act as a page boy. Traditional in British wedding, page boys usually carry the bride's train or bring the wedding bands up to the altar.
Pippa and Kate's brother James Middleton has a possible usher role, while James's younger brother Spencer, who starred on the British reality show Made in Chelsea, is said to be the best man. In early April, Kate and William were spotted leaving a low-key dinner with Pippa, James, and his brother and parents at their home in Chelsea. We probably can't look forward to the queen being in attendance, but it's very likely that Prince Harry is on the guest list - and will bring his girlfriend, Meghan Markle.

Jennifer Aniston's Already Wearing the Shoe of the Summer
In the Summer of 2016, Jennifer Aniston kept her Burberry wedges on repeat. She bought them in two neutral colorways, a promising move to make when you know you've found a style that's comfortable and versatile.
The actress, who always maintains effortless street style, stepped out in West Hollywood, CA, in a pair of boyfriend jeans, a fitted military jacket, and Soludos leather sandals with an espadrille platform. While these shoes are a few inches lower than her Burberry pairs, they're certainly more suitable for running errands on a relaxing afternoon.

Molly Sims's New LA House Is Both Gorgeous and Kid Friendly
Molly Sims loves interior design so much that should could practically make a second career of it - but even this design-savvy model, actress, and mother-of-three knows when to call in reinforcements. Molly and her husband Scott Stuber purchased a half-finished home in the Pacific Palisades in 2015 and called on Dan Scotti of Dan Scotti Design to help them turn the under-construction property into a welcoming primary residence. They moved in this January and have just opened their doors to Architectural Digest. As the images ahead demonstrate, the completed property is a contemporary domestic masterpiece. "My designer Dan Scotti definitely pushed me to a more modern style, still beautiful, but more streamlined. I was building a home for a family, not for a girl who was single in her 30s like I had been for so long. I kind of needed to be pushed in another direction," Molly told the website. Here's a List of Businesses to Boycott - or Support - If You Oppose Trump
Donald Trump's controversial views have led several businesses to take a clear stance for or against him. If you're looking for a list of these businesses to help inform your consumer decisions, we're here to help.
Who's Against Trump?
From the moment he announced his presidential campaign, Donald Trump created enough controversy that some businesses cut ties with him. Macy's stopped selling Trump's line of menswear after he declared most Mexican immigrants were rapists and murderers, and stood by their decision even after the election. NBC also cut ties with him, canceling their broadcast of the Miss USA pageant, which Trump owned, and replacing him as the host of Celebrity Apprentice.
Designers like Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, and Sophie Theallet have also made clear their disapproval of the president by refusing to dress the future first lady, Melania Trump. Additionally, an ever-growing list of artists rejected invitations to perform at the presidential inauguration on Jan. 20. The list includes Elton John, Garth Brooks, Gene Simmons, Andrea Bocelli, Charlotte Church, and Jennifer Holliday.
Who Supports Trump, and How?
Of course, some businesses have expressed their support of Trump. One recently publicized case was that of L.L.Bean, which Trump praised in a tweet before he took office, thanking Linda Bean, heiress to the company, for her support. He also urged his supporters to buy the brand's products. (As president, he is now prohibited from endorsing specific brands by the Office of Government Ethics.) The tweet was issued in response to a $30,000 donation Bean made in support of Trump, which was recently revealed to have exceeded the annual limit for individuals.
Thank you to Linda Bean of L.L.Bean for your great support and courage. People will support you even more now. Buy L.L.Bean. @LBPerfectMaine
- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 12, 2017
An online group, Grab Your Wallet, has compiled a list of businesses that consumers who oppose Trump could consider boycotting. These businesses fall into two categories. The first includes companies who have not necessarily openly expressed support for Trump, but who continue to carry either his brand's products or those manufactured for his daughter Ivanka Trump's brand. This category includes large companies like Amazon, even though its CEO, Jeff Bezos, who also owns the Washington Post, has been harshly criticized, and even threatened, by Trump. Macy's, despite having stopped selling Trump's clothing line, is also on the list, because the retailer continues to sell Ivanka's products. Other big names currently on the list include Bed Bath & Beyond, Bloomingdale's, Sears, Walmart, Saks Off Fifth, Winners, Kmart, and Lord & Taylor.
The second category includes companies who have supported Trump more directly, whether through public endorsements, donations, or advertising. For example, Steve Forbes, the chairman of Forbes Media, has publicly endorsed Trump, as have Hobby Lobby CEO David Green, Yuengling Beer owner Dick Yuengling Jr., and NASCAR CEO Brian France. Others have actively raised funds for or donated to the Trump campaign, such as New Balance chairman Jim Davis, who reportedly donated nearly $400,000, and of course, Linda Bean.
The website also points out companies who are advertisers on NBC's The New Celebrity Apprentice, of which Donald Trump remains executive producer. This category includes Tyra Banks's beauty line Tyra Beauty, the juice company Welch's, and Trident gum.
Finally, the website mentions a list of businesses for which a boycott case could be made, but which Grab Your Wallet has decided to exempt for various reasons. For example, PayPal cofounder Peter Thiel has actively supported Trump, but because Thiel is no longer involved with the company, PayPal is not on the boycott list. The Washington Post is also spared, despite being owned by Jeff Bezos (see above), because of the importance of maintaining free press and capable journalism under President Trump.

This Trick Will Magically Turn the Shade of Your Hydrangeas
Source: Flickr user Ryutaro Koma
If you've ever admired a hydrangea bush blooming in all sorts of pastel shades, you'll be happy to know that the look is achieved by a simple science trick! You can actually change the color of your hydrangeas - making them pink, blue, or ethereal shades of periwinkle - by following these steps. Here's how to master the pastel rainbow effect:
- Make Sure You Have the Right Type of Hydrangea
Only hydrangea macrophylla (aka mopheads and lacecaps) can actually change color, so make sure you buy the right kind. - Measure the Soil pH
It's easy - we promise! Use a soil test kit to figure out your soil pH levels. To get blue flowers, you'll want your soil to be acidic with pH levels of 5.5 or lower. For pink flowers, you'll want more alkaline soil with pH levels of 6.5 or higher. To achieve that pretty palette of blue, pink, and purple hues, get your soil to a pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. - Adjust the pH Levels of Your Soil to Get the Color You Want
Bailey's Color Me Blue (soil sulfur) or Bailey's Color Me Pink (garden lime) are great for adjusting pH levels, but you can also use a few homemade tricks, like using composted oak leaves, pine needles, or coffee grounds for blue flowers or wood ashes, lime, or fertilizers with high levels of phosphorus (a ratio of 25-10-10 is best) to prevent aluminum from entering the plant's system for pink flowers. This helpful guide will tell you how much additives to use for raising or lowering the pH levels. - Keep Treating Your Soil, and Be Patient
Continue treating the top layer of soil around the root area to keep the flowers in the desired shade. This process can take months, so be patient.

Badass Teen Journalists Write Exposé That Forces Their Principal to Resign
When you're in high school, it's totally normal to wonder about your teachers' and administrators' lives, and with the help of social media, it typically isn't too difficult to dig up some details. But when these high school journalists in Pittsburg, KS, started unearthing information about their newly hired principal, they came up with more questions than answers. The group of editors and reporters from The Booster Redux, the Pittsburg High School newspaper, were gathering facts for a meeting with Principal Amy Robertson when they started to find discrepancies in her qualifications and background.
Principal Robertson was hired on March 6, and after weeks of investigating her background, the newspaper editors published an article about her background on April 3. "She was going to be the head of our school, and we wanted be assured that she was qualified and had the proper credentials," Trina Paul, an editor of the newspaper and a senior at the Kansas school, told The Kansas City Star. "We stumbled on some things that most might not consider legitimate credentials."
The article questioned the authenticity of Corllins University, the private institution where Robertson claimed she received her master's and doctorate degrees from, as there were no traces of this university's existence online. The six student journalists discovered that Corllins is not recognized by the US Department of Education, and it has been referred to as a "diploma mill" where "people can buy a degree, diploma, or certificates."
One day after the article was published, Principal Robertson resigned.
Administrators called a necessary meeting where the Pittsburg Community Schools Board of Education President Al Mendez announced the high school principal's resignation. "In light of the issues that arose, Dr. Robertson felt it was in the best interest of the district to resign her position," Pittsburg Community Schools later wrote in a statement. "The Board has agreed to accept her resignation."
When they started the feature article introducing their new principal, the students had no idea that this is what would come of it. "They were not out to get anyone to resign or to get anyone fired," Emily Smith, the school's journalism adviser, said, sharing how "very proud" she is of her students. "They worked very hard to uncover the truth."
Let's get these kids a Pulitzer for their impressive investigative journalism!

Meet the 19-Year-Old Activist Fighting Against Child Marriage
Before she was even 15 years old, Memory Banda was already a seasoned activist. When she witnessed firsthand how women in her Malawi community were subjected to sexual initiation (which typically led to impregnation and marriage), Banda felt compelled to change the traditions. It was personal for Banda: her 11-year-old sister was forced to marry the man who impregnated her during such a ritual. Around the same time, Banda encountered the Girls Empowerment Network (GEN). She says the organization empowered her further to take on the challenges that would come with fighting long-established community traditions. Banda worked with GEN on a campaign to stop child marriages, organizing storytelling gatherings for women to share their experiences as child brides.
Banda, now 19, went on to lead a successful campaign to make 21 the legal age for marriage in Malawi. Harsh penalties have also been established for people who break these new laws: men who marry underage girls must pay a significant fine in goats, chickens, and land; parents who marry off their underage daughters are now required to perform public service in their local community.
On March 28, Banda spoke at the Professional Women in Business Conference, taking the stage right before Hillary Clinton. We spoke with Banda before her talk about her experience as an activist, educator, and woman - and her wisdom is astounding.
POPSUGAR: Were you in touch with the Girls Empowerment Network before or after you realized how unjustly marriage was approached in your community?
MB: It was right before. That was the time my little sister got pregnant and was forced to go marry the person who impregnated her. That was when I had all these crazy questions in my mind, like, "What is our culture? Why are girls being affected more?" I looked at the situation with my sister and thought, "No girl has to go through this."
POPSUGAR: You started literacy classes for young women in your community. Was there a particular moment that inspired you to start those classes? Was there ever any pushback from other people in the community about these classes?
MB: I'll take you back a little bit. I imagined what my sister would become, because she wouldn't go to school [after she got married]. People thought that once you get married, that's the end of you as a young person. But I looked at it in a very different way: if a young girl goes into marriage, that doesn't have to be the end of her. And [I initiated] these literacy classes.
I also learned a lot from them. In the literacy classes, these young women who were my age - young mothers - were able to tell me what they were going through . . . the problems they were facing every day. They were going through a series of abuses from their husbands. Financially they were unstable and dependent on the man. That's when I saw how big the problem of child marriage is. I moved on to talking to my traditional leaders about some of the effects and some of the negative traditions.
All these child marriage issues, by the end of the day, you would find the biggest linkages are the cultural norms and cultural traditions in the community. You see that the girl child is not really valued in the community. What she is valued most for is "Oh, you're going to get married, your husband will support your family, your parents will get support." That's the only value seen in girls. When I saw that, I felt like I could change that focal point.
POPSUGAR: What was the conversation with traditional leaders in your community like?
MB: It was hard. It was a bunch of young girls and an organization in the community. You know how an organization can implement a project and after one or two years, it's gone? So the leaders were just like, "We'll wait it out." They were so surprised that we were still talking about this. Personally, the empowerment that I got was very huge. I did not stop because I wanted to see the changes I could make in the community.
The first time I spoke, it was very hard because I was very small. I was very scared. Later on, when people were talking about us as young girls who don't respect the tradition, it was very sad to be told that you're not respecting the tradition of the community. I looked at it in a very different way. I felt like if these people are looking at us in this way, that means we're doing something that is changing us and them as traditional leaders. That's when I felt like, "Yeah, let me go on and do this."
POPSUGAR: You saw some very successful changes directly because of your activism; there's now a legal precedent for when a woman can get married in Malawi. How would you encourage women to keep fighting through the bureaucratic red tape? Do you have any advice?
MB: Absolutely. As women and girls globally, we always have to have that mind of trying. I think that's what has been pushing me all the time. Sometimes, when I sit down and feel like I might not see any positive results from what I am doing, I think about [how] some years back I didn't even know that this was where these things would take me to.
I've always been that kind of person pushing for what I believe in. It's very important that women and the girls all over the world also have to believe in ourselves and push for what we believe in. Even if it doesn't work out, at least you can say that you tried.
"As women, we have the power of influencing. We may not realize we're influencing someone at that moment or influencing something, [but] we have that power."
POPSUGAR: Is there a specific moment or memory when you realized your own strength and power?
MB: It takes me back to the first time I stood up and spoke in front of my traditional leaders - and then when I saw the changes that were coming behind me. When we were advocating for the raise of the legal marriage age, when I saw the support that I got, I was like, "Oh! I can do this!" I think that was the point of self realization. That's when I felt like it is possible for a person to do anything to try to change something.
POPSUGAR: Can you think of an anecdote which speaks to how you have transformed how men in your community view women?
MB At first it was very hard. In my country, there are a lot of patriarchal communities. It's all over, but in Africa, it's even worse. In particular, in Malawi, it's way worse. We have been used to seeing men stand up and speak in front of people. It has always been the norm. But then to see girls standing up - it was challenging that patriarchal tradition in my community.
Men looked at us and said, "Oh, look at them, they won't go far." They were surprised to see that we were still pushing for this, and little by little, we gained their respect and their understanding. Men having been supporting us in this activism in every possible way. It's just amazing to see my fellow young people, the boys just being there and supporting us. When we were doing the amendment of the constitution, our group was actually comprised of so many young men.
POPSUGAR: What are you working on right now? What are your future plans?
MB: First and foremost, I'll continue my advocacy work for girls' rights. Apart from that, I'm looking for future personal development - because I feel like, personally, I have to develop as well. I'm looking forward to finishing school, college.
I was telling my sister that apart from me pursuing my education, I've always wanted to do law, and I feel like I still have to pursue that. When I sit back and see what I've done, it leads to policies and law. For me to go through all these social campaigns, first I had to understand what the laws said, what the acts said, what other policies linked up to all these issues around me. If I go into the field of law, it will be so much easier for me to advocate and work.
POPSUGAR: What do you think the most beautiful thing about being a woman is?
MB: That's a tricky question. I love being a woman, but I don't even know how I can respond to that. There's so many things. I love being a woman because I feel like I've always been an influencer. Most of the time, when I am around men and I pose my ideas, critics come in. By the end of the day you see that you have spoken something that has influenced them. The men think that they're the ones who posed that idea, but I'm the one who did that.
As women, we have the power of influencing. We may not realize we're influencing someone at that moment or influencing something, [but] we have that power. We have that influencing power, and with that power, we can do a lot of things. It feels like trickery, but it's not really a trick. With that power, we can influence a lot of things around us. It's the skill of being a woman.
13 Reasons Why: Where You May Have Seen Tony (Besides Law & Order)
13 Reasons Why has captured our attention for a number of reasons - the gripping story, the unflinching approach to teen suicide, the dramatic twists - but none of it would be as successful if it wasn't for the talented young cast. One of the standout performances comes from Christian Navarro, who plays the wise, leather-jacket-clad Tony. Navarro has made guest appearances on a number of TV dramas like Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Blue Bloods, The Affair, and Rosewood, but he's only had one recurring role before breaking out on 13 Reasons Why. He played Jorge in the Martin Scorsese's one-season HBO series Vinyl. Here he is in character:

Amy Schumer, Girl After Our Own Hearts, Says Drinking Makes Life More Fun
It's Amy Schumer's life, and she'll get drunk if she wants to, OK? The Snatched actress stuns on the cover of InStyle's May issue, and her accompanying interview is chock-full of her classic and unfiltered humor. Amy, who looks amazing in a white one-piece while sprawled out in a pool on the cover, tells the magazine that she makes no apologies for letting loose once in a while. "In the past couple years there have been times when I haven't drunk for months," she explained. "What I find is I look so much better, feel amazing . . . and am so bored. Life isn't that fun. So I can feel really good for a while, but then it's one of the things that I look forward to, so until I am told 'You cannot do this anymore,' I'll probably continue to do it." Toddler Shuts Down a Cashier Who Told Her to Pick Out a "Different" Doll
After Sophia successfully pooped on the potty for an entire month, she was allowed to pick out a special prize. Not surprising to her parents, Brandi and Nick, Sophia wanted a new doll.
As her mom explained, "the obsession is real" when it comes to dolls for this little girl, but a cashier at the store threatened to ruin her excitement - simply because of the color of her new toy's skin. While Sophia and Brandi were checking out, the employee asked the toddler if she was going to a birthday party. Both the mom and daughter gave the woman a blank stare. She then asked if Sophia picked the doll out for a friend.
"Sophia continued to stare blankly and I let the cashier know that she was a prize for Sophia being fully potty trained," Brandi shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page. "The woman gave me a puzzled look and turned to Sophia and asked, 'Are you sure this is the doll you want, honey?'"
Sophia found her voice and replied, "Yes, please!" but the woman still didn't back down. "But she doesn't look like you. We have lots of other dolls that look more like you," the cashier said, according to Brandi.
Brandi immediately became angry, but before she could say anything, Sophia began explaining all of the ways she and her new doll are alike. "Yes, she does. She's a doctor like I'm a doctor. And I'm a pretty girl and she's a pretty girl. See her pretty hair? And see her stethoscope?" Sophia told the stranger.
The cashier finally dropped the conversation, but the unexpected exchange had a lasting impact on this mom. "This experience just confirmed my belief that we aren't born with the idea that color matters," she wrote. "Skin comes in different colors just like hair and eyes, and every shade is beautiful."

Ivanka Trump: “Where I Disagree With My Father, He Knows It”
"So where I disagree with my father, he knows it. And I express myself with total candor." -- @IvankaTrump https://t.co/FGIY88ARqb http://pic.twitter.com/upXDrUDn86
- CBS This Morning (@CBSThisMorning) April 5, 2017
Ivanka Trump has been under serious scrutiny since her father was elected 45th president of the United States. While she initially said she was just going to be "a daughter" and not be involved in the administration, things have definitely changed. In her first TV interview since becoming assistant to the president, Ivanka sat down with Gayle King of CBS This Morning, where she opened up like never before - discussing her goals for her new role, the criticism she and husband Jared Kushner have faced for being "complicit," and what happens when she disagrees with her father, President Donald Trump.
Many have blamed Ivanka's lack of social media presence and her silence on social media regarding political issues on her being "complicit." Saturday Night Live even mocked her silence with a skit for fragrance ad named Complicit, but Ivanka reasserts herself and her job in the recent interview. "If being complicit is wanting to, is wanting to be a force for good and to make a positive impact then I'm complicit," she said. "I don't know that the critics who may say that of me, if they found themselves in this very unique and unprecedented situation that I am now in, would do any differently than I am doing."
Ivanka added, "So I hope to make a positive impact. I don't know what it means to be complicit, but you know, I hope time will prove that I have done a good job and much more importantly that my father's administration is the success that I know it will be."
Ivanka insisted that critics do not understand the rare position she is in and that her decision to not take to Twitter or make public statements does not mean that she doesn't have an opinion on the topic or that she doesn't care. "I would say not to conflate lack of public denouncement with silence," Ivanka said. "In some case it's through protest and it's through going on the nightly news and talking about or denouncing every issue in which you disagree with. Other times it is quietly, and directly, and candidly."
She explained that she's never silent when it comes to disagreeing with her father, and anyone who even flipped on the TV during the 2016 presidential election knows that Donald Trump does not fare well with opposing views, but it's not the same when it comes to his daughter.
"Where I disagree with my father, he knows it, and I express myself with total candor," she explained. "Where I agree, I fully lean in and support the agenda and hope that I can be an asset to him and make a positive impact. But I respect the fact that he always listens. It's how he was in business. It's how he is as president."
Gayle pointed out that many news articles claim Ivanka and her husband Jared are "the moderating force in the White House," and that they will tell President Trump the "hard truths." Ivanka agreed and said that many of the people the President surrounds himself with, including herself and Jared, will be straight up about issues at hand. "But I think most of the impact I have, over time, most people will not actually know about," she revealed.

See the Over-the-Top Perks of an Emirates Airlines Business-Class Flight
I'm not usually one to travel in what you'd call "luxury." I'm a bargain-hunting adventurer who picks the cheapest seat on the plane and who is happy as long as there's a bed to fall into at the end of the day. Or a hammock. Or a sleeping bag. However, that doesn't mean I can't appreciate or, in fact, immensely enjoy it when an extravagant opportunity presents itself. Enter: Emirates business class. The airline is known for being one of the best in the world- and it truly lives up to that status, from its impeccable customer service to its top-of-the-line planes, particularly the business- and first-class sections.
On my recent trip to Thailand with Pandora Jewelry for the opening of a new crafting facility, I was able to experience the palatial features of Emirates business class. I flew from Bangkok, Thailand, to Dubai, UAE; had a layover in Dubai; and then flew Dubai to LA - both legs of the flight (one seven-hour and one 17-hour) were in Emirates business. With large big-screen TVs, personal minibars, full meals and drinks available the entire flight, and so many movie and TV options I couldn't keep count, the flight was a far cry from your average trip - and I loved it.
In addition to the regular perks of flying business class, like priority check-in, a fast pass through security, access to airport lounges, and included food and beverages, Emirates (especially Emirates Airbus 380) offers a unique level of luxury you'll be hard-pressed to find with many other airlines. From an actual lounge on board the plane to seats that recline fully flat, touchscreen technology, and gourmet dining, it's an experience that's worth having (at least once in a lifetime) if you're in the mood to majorly splurge. The downside is that this glamorous method of travel costs well above your average ticket price and can end up costing more than your trip itself. Take a look at the over-the-top features of Emirates business class.
The Surprising Truth About Refrigerating Butter
One of the most heated debates in the kitchen is whether or not you should refrigerate butter. Some people cringe at the thought of leaving butter on the countertop, while others swear there's nothing worse than cold, hard butter straight from the fridge. It's an understandable question with an even more complicated answer. The short answer? It's OK to leave it out - with some restrictions.
While butter is a dairy product, it's mostly fat, meaning that it's less susceptible to bacteria. Salted butter is even less prone to bacterial growth than unsalted butter because of its sodium content, so the shelf life of the two types of butter is slightly different. When it comes to leaving butter out of the fridge, the first important rule is that it should be kept in a butter crock or a similar airtight container. If butter is exposed to air, it spoils much more quickly. When properly sealed in the container after each use, salted butter sitting out in a crock will last about two weeks, according to Organic Authority. If room temperature in your kitchen reaches above 70°F, however, it's best to refrigerate ASAP. But unsalted butter is best left in the fridge at all times.
I went to college with a man, nay, a boy, who insisted on leaving butter on the counter and never refrigerated it.

@drewmagary I recently began leaving butter out. It is a life changer.

Dunno what annoys me more about my mums bf, the fact he butters one side of bread for a sandwich or him leaving the butter out the fridge
- kendo (@ALEXKEND0) February 1, 2017
If you need softened butter for baking but didn't give it a chance to reach room temperature, the trick is to grate the butter so it becomes soft.
