Molly Sims's New LA House Is Both Gorgeous and Kid Friendly
Molly Sims loves interior design so much that should could practically make a second career of it - but even this design-savvy model, actress, and mother-of-three knows when to call in reinforcements. Molly and her husband Scott Stuber purchased a half-finished home in the Pacific Palisades in 2015 and called on Dan Scotti of Dan Scotti Design to help them turn the under-construction property into a welcoming primary residence. They moved in this January and have just opened their doors to Architectural Digest. As the images ahead demonstrate, the completed property is a contemporary domestic masterpiece. "My designer Dan Scotti definitely pushed me to a more modern style, still beautiful, but more streamlined. I was building a home for a family, not for a girl who was single in her 30s like I had been for so long. I kind of needed to be pushed in another direction," Molly told the website. From the chic yet durable decor that can stand up to her young children to the dramatic kitchen to the numerous luxury amenities (movie theater, wine closet, etc.), we're sure you're going to love Molly's family home. Check out highlights ahead and get full design details on Architecturaldigest.com.

Barry Manilow Opens Up About His Longtime Romance With Husband Garry Kief
Barry Manilow married his longtime manger, Garry Kief, in a private ceremony in April 2014, and now the legendary singer is opening up about his private life for the first time. The 73-year-old recently chatted to People about his nearly 40-year romance with Garry. "He's the smartest person I've ever met in my life - and a great guy, too," Barry said. The singer also revealed that their relationship nearly ended before it even began. After Garry went to one of Barry's concerts back in the day, the star's fame almost took its toll. "I got into the car with him, and [the fans] were rocking the car," Barry continued. "He was like, 'I can't handle this. It's not for me.' I'm glad he stayed."
Barry admits that while he's never been ashamed of who he is, he's always been hesitant to share certain parts of his life with his mostly female fan base. "I thought I would be disappointing them if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything," he explained. "When they found out that Garry and I were together, they were so happy. The reaction was so beautiful - strangers commenting, 'Great for you!' I'm just so grateful for it."

69 Times Mariah Carey Proved She's the Most Glamorous Mom
Mariah Carey: elusive chanteuse or supercool mom? According to her Instagram, it seems the iconic singer is more devoted to the latter role. But let's get one thing straight from the get-go: Mariah is not your average celebrity parent. She has ridiculously expensive taste, and as a result, her kids are treated to nothing but the best. 13 Reasons Why: Miles Heizer and Brandon Flynn Have the Best Bond
There are a few reasons we can't stop thinking about Netflix's latest hit, 13 Reasons Why: the insanely talented cast, the heartbreakingly honest portrayal of teen suicide and mental illness, and the unanswered questions from the finale (don't worry, it sounds like there will probably be a season two). While we can't get enough of everything about the show, we're also obsessing over the cast's real-life friendships. They all love to hang out together, and one duo in particular seems to be extra close. Miles Heizer (Alex) and Brandon Flynn (Justin) formed a tight bond after filming began, which seems to only be getting stronger by the day. Keep reading for some of their best social media snaps together.

Tom Holland Basically Pulled a Hannah Montana While Preparing to Play Spider-Man
When it comes to concealing a famous identity, few are as skilled Peter Parker. The 15-year-old web-slinger is forced to balance his regular life and his crime-fighting alter-ego, which Tom Holland got a major taste of while preparing for Spider-Man: Homecoming. Since he's not a household name just yet, the 20-year-old British actor was sent undercover to a high school in NYC to prepare for the role, so he could experience what being an American student is really like. "I sent him to the Bronx High School of Science, because that's the kind of school that Peter Parker would go to," director Jon Watts revealed to POPSUGAR and a group of other journalists on the set last Summer. "He was so blown away by how hard the kids worked, how smart everyone was, and the thing he remarked on was just everyone was exhausted, and that's what I remember from high school."
Holland went all-in on the experience, too, donning a fake name and accent to blend in. "I am in no way a science student, and some of the teachers would call me up in front of the class and try and get me to do equations and stuff. It was so embarrassing," he recalled. "But it was actually really, really informative, because schools in London are so different. I would go to school every day in a suit and tie, it was just boys, and to be in a school where you can be free and let loose and be with girls was so different." The experiment only lasted for three days, and according to Holland, none of his classmates were ever the wiser. "I actually have videos on my phone of me interviewing people and asking them what they thought of the new Spider-Man in [Captain America:]Civil War, and they're like, 'Oh he's great! I love him!'" he said. "Some people were like, 'Nah, I don't love him,' and I'm standing right in front of them. It was really fun."
Even with Spider-Man: Homecoming in the works and roles in Invincible and In the Heart of the Sea, he says that he doesn't "get recognized all that much." Whenever he's in his suit, however, Holland loves to make the day of his younger fans. "We went to a children's hospital in the suit [the other day], and that for me was perfect. To make these kids happy was incredible," he said. "The best is when they actually believe I'm Spider-Man and they're like, 'How do the webs work?' and I'll have to say, 'Oh, I don't have the suit on.' That for me is one of the best things about being Spider-Man, convincing little kids that I can actually do that sort of stuff." Once he swings into theaters on July 6, we have a feeling he won't stay unrecognizable for long.

Brad Pitt Joins Robert Pattinson and Charlie Hunnam at Their Movie Premiere
Brad Pitt surprised fans when he stepped out for The Lost City of Z premiere in LA on Wednesday night. Also in attendance were the stars of the film, Charlie Hunnam and Robert Pattinson. Jared Leto Talks Tattoos, Smelling Musky, and His Minimalist Hair Care
Any child of the '90s likely had a crush on Jared Leto (ahem, Mr. Jordan Catalano) and probably still does (I do!). Thankfully Jared is still acting and performing with his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars. And can we talk about the internet's obsessed with his ever-changing hair?!
The renaissance man is also the face of Gucci fragrances, and the campaigns are pretty steamy (see exclusive behind-the-scenes images here!). This Spring, he is fronting the campaign for Gucci Guilty Absolute (an earthy-woody scent). In the ads, photographer Glen Luchford shot Jared starring at his handsome reflection in the mirror. Since that was not enough Jared for us, we also got to interview him via email about his grooming and scent routine . . .
POPSUGAR: What does Jared Leto smell like in three descriptive words?
Jared Leto: I think I like heavier, muskier smells in general. I don't love flowery, powdery smells. I love kind of darker, stronger smells.
PS: What is your favorite scent memory?
JL: I've always had a strong sense of smell and I think smells for me, I remember when I was a kid, that the smell of a fireplace. This is gas, but the smell of a fireplace is always really powerful to me. A campfire, a fireplace, it always brings back memories.
PS: We are obsessed with your hair texture. How do you take care of it?
JL: I take a shower and shampoo and that's it.
PS: What is your guilty pleasure?
JL: Maybe I have a guilty indulgence with art and creativity because as an artist you can be indulgent, and it's important to be, in a way. To spend time thinking about your own creative desires.
PS: What is your skin care routine?
JL: I don't do any beauty routine, in my own personal life. I try to eat as good as I can, and I try to sleep. But for films, I would do whatever it takes. I made a movie in Budapest, Bladerunner, and it was a lot of makeup and big transformation. [For] another movie in Japan I had tattoos everywhere - all over my body, my whole body - it was crazy. Eight hours in makeup.

Reminder: Glenn's Death in the Walking Dead Comic Books Is More Disgusting Than You Could Possibly Imagine
The Walking Dead's writers chose to end their season six finale with a massive, frustrating cliffhanger that deprived fans of the knowledge of who the show's newest villain, Negan, brutally murders in the final seconds of the episode. We now know (for better or for worse) who is on the receiving end of the bat: Abe, then Glenn. Abe famously dies in the comics with an arrow through the eye, but since Denise takes that death instead on the show, his storyline has been a bit of a loose thread. The premiere sees Abe beat senseless first, before Glenn is tragically beat to a pulp. It's horrific, but let's be honest: the makeup job is insanely good. Glenn is the one who takes the beating in the comic books, and his death is still one of the most affecting moments for fans of the series. Months after the scene aired, we're still thinking about it. Take a look at the pages here to see how truly similar the death is in the books.
The Heartbreaking Way This Teacher Discovered 5 Students' Biggest Secrets
When Elle Deal decided to try a new exercise with her fifth grade students, the Friday activity turned into something incredibly heartbreaking.
The elementary school teacher asked her kids to write a short blurb, titled, "I wish my teacher would know . . . " and their answers left a major impact on her. Elle shared a few of the heartbreaking (and anonymous) statements on Facebook as a reminder to everyone to "leave this life a little better than how we found it."
"Kid 1: I wish my teacher would know, my dad is in jail and I haven't seen him in years.
Kid 2: I wish my teacher would know, I don't always eat dinner because my mom works and I don't know how to work the stove.
Kid 3: I wish my teacher would know, my sister sleeps in the same bed as me and sometimes she wets the bed and that's why I smell funny.
Kid 4: I wish my teacher would know that I don't always have sneakers for gym class because my brothers and I share one pair.
Kid 5: I wish my teacher would know I like coming to school because it's quiet here, not like my house with all the yelling."
This simple activity reinforced Elle's desire to spend her life hopefully making a difference for others. "We spend so much time talking and judging what we think we know . . . we need to ask more questions and spend more time listening," she wrote. "We also need to shift our mindset and see things from other people's perspective, give more than we get, and live to serve."

3 Easy Steps to Make Your Urban Garden a Reality This Spring
The hardest part about becoming an urban gardener is making the leap from wanting and thinking about a plot in the city to actually starting one. I would know - I made a few feeble attempts over the years (note: starting from seeds takes forever, basil doesn't particularly love water, and yes, squirrels will steal everything you grow if you let them).
If you're tired of scrolling through Instagram and seeing all the gorgeous blooms from lifestyle bloggers or looking out your window and seeing the side of the next building over, read on for 3 easy steps to make your urban garden a reality this spring.
1. Know what you want to grow
Before you even google tips for starting an urban garden and how to choose the right supplies, make a list of the plants or types of plants you want to have in your garden. Which ones do you already know (snapdragons, pansies, basil, etc.)? Do you want to have flowers, herbs, or vegetables?
Making this your very first step will help the overwhelming task of creating a garden be significantly more doable.
2. Know your space
Perhaps most important is having an understanding of your space. Regardless of what you want to grow, it may be dictated by your environment. Different plants need different types of soil, hours of sunlight, and amounts of water. The amount of water and type of soil can be readily fixed in an urban garden, so really, you just need to know how many hours each day your garden area receives direct or indirect sunlight. This will have the greatest impact on the plants you can successfully grow in your garden. So, take the list you made of the plants you know, and would like to grow, and see if they work best with partial or full sun.
Of course, not all of us living in the city are lucky enough to have outdoor space - not even a fire escape! In these instances, I'm sorry, I've been there. But don't worry, a sunny windowsill can still work great, as does investing in a grow light and a hydroponic indoor plant system.
3. Start small
If you're just getting started with gardening, don't try to tackle it all at once - start with two or three plants, get them under your belt and growing strong before expanding your garden. I know, I know, it's so tempting to make a huge trip to Home Depot or make an order online, but less really is more when you're first digging in.
Keeping in mind the different needs of each plant, you want to make sure you have enough resources to ensure all the plants grow strong and bloom. For example, if you only have one corner of shade, you don't to make that big trip and come home with enough plants to fill half your outdoor space that all want partial sun. You won't be able to give all of them what they need.
Sometimes none of the above matters, and the hardest part is simply starting. That's okay. It's natural for hobbies to fall on the priority list when life gets hectic. But when you're ready to start planting, don't let the millions of options of pots, plants, different soils, fertilizers, gardening gloves, trellises, etc. bog you down (read: avoid the online browsing trap!). Pick the first pot you see that you like, bring home the plants you're familiar with/that will grow well with the amount sunlight you have, and begin.
As Janet Kilburn Phillips once said, "There are no gardening mistakes, only experiments."
Gordon Ramsay Reveals the 1 Place You Should Never Eat
Sure, Gordon Ramsay has high standards, but is there really anything he would never eat? Turns out it's more of a place where he would never eat rather than one specific food - and that's on a plane. In an interview with Refinery29, Gordon revealed his feelings about airplane food and why those feelings might be justified. "There's no f*cking way I eat on planes," he said. "I worked for airlines for 10 years, so I know where this food's been and where it goes, and how long it took before it got on board." Yikes. The man has a point - there's no denying that airplane food is not the best.
So what's a traveler to do to avoid midflight hunger, according to the world-renowned chef? If you're like him, you'll make time to stop at a nice Italian restaurant for a little meat and cheese. "A nice selection of Italian meats, a little glass of red wine, some sliced apples or pears with some parmesan cheese," Gordon says of his ideal airport snack.
Alternatively, of course, you could eat at Gordon Ramsay's very own Plane Food, a restaurant in Terminal 5 of the London Heathrow Airport. There, you'll find truffle mac and cheese, Szechuan squid, and spicy tuna tartare . . . certainly nothing that's reheated in convection ovens on an airplane.
Breaking Down Melania Trump's Official Portrait Outfit, Sparkly Neck Tie and All
There are many style differences between Melania Trump and former First Lady Michelle Obama, but Melania makes that no more clear than in her her first official portrait, which was just released by the White House along with the following statement: "I am honored to serve in the role of First Lady, and look forward to working on behalf of the American people over the coming years."
While some Twitter commenters are calling out her 13-carat engagement ring, we are more focused on the detailing of her Dolce & Gabbana blazer. Melania nixed classic jewelry - Michelle Obama famously wore strands of pearls for both her portraits - for an embellished neck tie covered in sequins. The style update is notable and frankly pretty unmissable though Melania's outfit is black. (No one ignored the sleeveless silhouette of Michelle's LBD in 2009 either.)
Despite past scrutiny about first lady fashion choices, many people are noting that Nancy Reagan wore a pussy bow blouse in her signature red in 1981, a silhouette that Melania seems to favor that can even be considered modest. At the end of the day, Melania's neckerchief offers a glittering wink to remind us of her ties to the fashion industry. After all, it's certainly garnering plenty of comments (both positive and negative) on Stefano Gabbana's Instagram tribute, thanking Melania for choosing one of his looks.
11 Things You Didn't Know About Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's Royal Relationship

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this year, which is a pretty amazing feat regardless of the fact that they're royalty. Whether you think you know a lot about the couple or are hankering for more details about their decades-long marriage, we've got a handful of facts about the royal couple that might surprise you.
- For starters, they're related. That's right: Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip are actually second cousins once removed through King Christian IX of Denmark, and third cousins through their great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria. Interestingly enough, Victoria married her first cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, in 1840.
- They met when Elizabeth was just a little girl. The future couple were first introduced in 1934, at the wedding of Philip's cousin Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark to Prince George, Duke of Kent (Elizabeth's uncle). At the time, she was just 8 years old. They saw each other again three years later, but it was during a meeting at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth in July 1939 - Elizabeth was 13 and Philip was 18 - that they fell in love and began to exchange letters.
- Elizabeth's dad gave his blessing for their marriage (on one condition). Philip asked King George VI for his daughter's hand in marriage in 1946, and the king granted his permission under the condition that a formal engagement was delayed until Elizabeth turned 21 the following April; both he and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, felt that their daughter was "too young," and were disappointed that she wanted to marry the first man she met.

- Their betrothal came with a bit of controversy. Philip and Elizabeth's engagement was officially announced in July 1947. The British public largely dismissed him as "a German" and the queen mother reportedly referred to him as "the Hun." Many of the king's advisors "did not think him good enough" for Elizabeth; he was foreign-born, didn't have money, and his three sisters all married German princes (some with Nazi ties).
- Philip abandoned his royal titles before marrying Elizabeth. Born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, Philip renounced those titles in 1957 in an attempt to gain favorable media coverage and blend a bit more seamlessly into his fiancée's family. He took on the style of Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten, adopting the surname of his mother's British family. He also converted from Greek Orthodoxy to Anglicanism.
- Some of their family members were not allowed at the wedding. Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II tied the knot at Westminster Abbey on Nov. 20, 1947. Being that it was just two years after World War II ended, it was not cool for Philip's German family members (including his sisters) to be invited to the wedding. Also not invited was Elizabeth's uncle, the former King Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in December 1936.
- Elizabeth originally took her husband's name. On the morning of their wedding, Philip was made the Duke of Edinburgh. Upon tying the knot, Elizabeth took Philip's title and became Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh.
- They started a family pretty quickly. Elizabeth gave birth to the couple's first child, Prince Charles, on Nov. 14, 1948, almost a year to the day of their wedding. Their welcomed a daughter, Princess Anne, two years later.

- They didn't always live with their kids. Between 1949 and 1951, Philip was stationed in Malta while serving as a Royal Navy officer. He and Elizabeth lived at Villa Guardamangia, the rented home of his uncle Lord Mountbatten, for several months at a time. Their two young children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne, stayed in Britain.
- Philip was the bearer of bad news upon King George VI's death. When Elizabeth's father passed away after a long illness in 1952, she and Philip had just embarked on a royal tour of Australia and New Zealand with a stop in Kenya. They were at their Kenyan home, Sagana Lodge, when the news of George's death reached them. It was Philip who told Elizabeth that her father had died - and that she was now queen.
- Philip didn't deal well with Elizabeth's rise to power. After King George's death, Philip gave up his career as a naval officer to support his wife's new royal duties and was known to butt heads with the Buckingham Palace staff. There were arguments about whether or not Elizabeth would keep his surname after she took the throne, but both the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Elizabeth's grandmother, Queen Mary, voted in favor to keep the family name as House of Windsor (rather than House of Mountbatten). This was also likely due to the fact that in the days after George's death, Philip's uncle, Louis "Dickie" Mountbatten, was overheard triumphantly declaring that "the House of Mountbatten now reigned," which understandably angered Queen Mary.
In April 1952, the queen mother issued a declaration that Windsor would continue to be the royal name. Philip, meanwhile, was pissed: he privately complained of being "nothing but a bloody amoeba," and railed against being "the only man in the country not allowed to give his name to his own children." But after both Queen Mary's death in 1953 and Churchill's resignation in 1955, the queen mother reversed the decision, aware of both Philip's frustration and the impending birth of their second son. In 1960, she issued an Order of Council stating that Elizabeth and Philip had adopted the surname Mountbatten-Windsor for their male-line descendants, saying, "The Queen has had this in mind for a long time and it is close to her heart." Their baby boy, Prince Andrew, was born just a week later. Today, it acts as a sort of optional last name for those in the family.
13 Reasons Why: The Cast Is Talking Like Season 2 Is Coming
We're on the edge of our seats waiting for Netflix to tell us if season two of 13 Reasons Why is in the works, but nothing official has been announced. It usually takes the streaming service a few weeks after a premiere to renew a series, but 13 Reasons Why is somewhat of a special case. The show is based on a book by Jay Asher and was conceived as a miniseries. If Netflix opts for a second season, they would be going far beyond what was in the book. Of course, the writers already expanded on a number of characters (Hannah's parents aren't even in the book) and the season ends with several cliffhangers, so it kind of feels like they're already setting up season two. Until we know for sure, let's take our cues from what the cast and production team have said about the possibility of continuing the story.
- Producer Selena Gomez is being coy, but her comments sound hopeful. "I would get in trouble for saying something, but I hope so," she told Entertainment Tonight at the premiere. "I hope people enjoy the first season." After the show became available on Netflix, Gomez spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about the possibility of more episodes: "We don't know what is going to go beyond it, but we know there are so many stories that lie beneath each character. That's why it became a series in the first place. So we'll see."
- Katherine Langford (aka Hannah) thinks "there's more stories to tell." She also spoke to ET at the premiere, saying, "We definitely have a lot more dialogue that we continue from the story we've already told. I'd love to do it, but we'll see." Langford also spoke to THR about what may come next: "It would be cool to continue the dialogue of this story. There are so many cliffhangers at the end of the season. At the end of the season, I had to sit back. I didn't think about what happens next. It's more of this feeling like, 'Oh my God, that's the story that needed to be told.'"
- Dylan Minnette (Clay) definitely wants to do another season. "I think that everyone would love to do another one, if we're given the opportunity," he told ET. "I think when people see where it leaves off, people are going to want to know more about these characters and what's next for them. There is a possibility."
- Creator Brian Yorkey is open to the idea. "I think we'd very much like to have that opportunity," he told ET. "We're not done with these characters. We love them and I want to know what happens next. . . . We absolutely talked about what could happen next . . . I would love to learn more about who these kids are, why they did what they did and also, Hannah made 13 tapes and told us 13 very specific stories, but there's a lot she didn't and I want to know more about that. I want to know what her secrets are."

23 Pictures of the Royals Laughing That Will Make You Spit Out Your Tea
The British royal family is a lot of things - graceful, well-mannered, and tight-knit - but one thing about them we can't help but love is their desire to cut loose sometimes. We know that Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and even Queen Elizabeth II haven't been shy about showing off their dance moves. We even know that Kate can shamelessly have a drink in the middle of the day. And we also know that they probably exchange a few funny comments while attending long (and probably boring) events together. But nothing is quite as entertaining as looking at photos of them all hysterically laughing. In addition to the funny faces they make, you can almost hear them saying, "I have actual tears in my eyes! Look at them! Actual tears." Keep reading to see some of their best LOL moments.

This Is What Celeste's Monterey Apartment in Big Little Lies Would Cost IRL
If you tuned in to the finale of Big Little Lies, you might've been surprised by how nice Celeste's secret two-bedroom apartment was. Sure, it paled in comparison to the multimillion-dollar modern waterfront mansion she shared with husband Perry, but it was still way nicer than the average digs. We found ourselves coveting its light-filled rooms, stunning ocean views, beachfront location, and charming living room complete with fireplace. We even wondered if this Monterey, CA, hideaway was within reach of a normal person's budget, and to find out we found a strikingly similar apartment available for sale right now.
The charming property is located in a gated community directly on the sand (one of only two complexes in Monterey with this type of direct waterfront location) and offers two bedrooms and two baths spread out over 1,083 square feet of space. It's currently being sold for - wait for it - $825,000. That's more than double the February 2017 average cost of a new home in the US. While it's a bargain compared to the seaside palaces characters like Renata and Madeline live in, it's still very expensive.
Turns out, the Big Little Lies lifestyle is pricey no matter how you slice it. Keep reading to check out the beautiful property ahead.
