Hugh Jackman and His Wife Brought Their Decades-Long Romance to the Met Gala

Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, turned the Met Gala into their own personal date night. The couple, who recently celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary, got all dolled up for the event in NYC on Monday night. "We're just going out for a walk," the Logan actor captioned a photo of the two ahead of the event. While his wife matched her black dress with fishnet stockings, Hugh looked dashing in a tux and bow tie as they walked the red carpet.

Here’s How to Get a Full-Body Workout at the Gym Using Just a Rowing Machine

Regardless of where you live, the scene at the gym can be fairly predictable, (certainly in the evening): lines of athletes waiting to get on the treadmills and ellipticals, with a sprinkling of people using the upright and recumbent bikes. It can be frustrating to walk into the cardio room and see it overflowing, especially if you're looking to get your heart rate up and are strapped for time. By using one of the most underused machines at the gym, however, you can outsmart everyone and log a great sweat session.

Up ahead, we'll show you everything you need to get an A+ workout using the rowing machine. Consider this plan your new body coach.

Who Won the Met Gala Red Carpet?

The dresses came and went down the famed Met Gala staircase, leaving us with a lot to think about on this first Monday in May. There were the outrageous and the sexy, from the likes of Kendall Jenner - who left very little to the imagination - and then, there were the unforgettable.

In a league of their own, these six style stars arrived in looks that will go down in Gala history, joining the ranks of the legendary looks we talk about long after this one night. Read on to see the standout gowns - the kinds that paid homage to the theme best (we're looking at you, Rihanna!) - and put the wearers immediately in the winners' circle. Then, cast your vote for the one that should win it all.

Warning: These Met Gala Jewels Might Just Blind You

A-listers definitely had fun while choosing ensembles to fit this year's Met Gala theme, but don't think we didn't notice the amazing accessories they wore as well. Celebrities added a much-needed bling factor to their red carpet looks by dripping in diamonds and crystals.

Blake Lively stole the show by wearing $3.5 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewels while model Joan Smalls opted for an edgy Anita Ko lip ring. Have a look at all of the statement-making accessories from this year's Met Gala ahead.

The Stars Who Got Real Disney About Their Looks at the Met Gala

Maybe they weren't planning it, and by happenstance, these stars got dressed up like Disney princesses at the Met Gala. But with a theme set in place that paid tribute to an avant-garde, mostly costume-like designer, Rei Kawakubo, we're not surprised the below looks straddled the line between adventurous and, well, kind of magical. If only for a second, the 13 actresses and models below whisked us off to Disney World, leaving pixie dust in their tracks as they climbed the stairs. Scroll to see them all.

Janelle Monáe Walked Straight Out of a Fairy Tale and on to the Met Gala Red Carpet

Once upon a time, Janelle Monáe shut it down at the Met Gala in a gown that could take your breath away at a glance. We imagine that's how the story will be told long after this Monday, because Janelle's black and white Ralph & Russo confection is the stuff of fashion fairy tales. The train looks as if it was made exclusively for draping across the Met Gala staircase, causing a photo frenzy with every turn. But, it's the fact that this black and white gown manages to pay homage to the night's tricky theme and stay true to the actress's personal style that might be most impressive (for that, she scored a spot on our best dressed list). The only part we haven't figured out is how she managed to sit down in that.

Regardless, look through to see it as it was meant to be seen: from every stunning angle.

You Haven't Seen Sexy Until These Met Gala Stars Turn Around

The Met Gala red carpet didn't have a 360-degree mirror, but that didn't stop celebrities from showing off their outfits from all angles. In fact, stars such as Gisele Bündchen and Kendall Jenner turned their backs to the cameras to give a better view of their gowns. We're thankful photographers were on hand to capture these ephemeral moments, because nothing beats seeing the long train of a dress on the Met Gala steps or admiring the crisscross details on a Ralph Lauren gown. Ahead, we rounded up the best snaps from behind you might have missed.

Sophie Turner's Met Gala Dress Is Giving Us Major GOT Season 1 Flashbacks

When Sophie Turner arrived at the Met Gala, we immediately had flashbacks to the first season of Game of Thrones. Back then, her character, Sansa Stark, was more innocent compared to the brooding badass she's transformed into throughout the series, and Sophie's dainty Louis Vuitton gown was the perfect ode to the Sansa we used to know.

With intricate silver and nude embroidered notes, the embellished white dress had a delicate frilly detail that flowed in the wind as she made her way up the famed museum steps. She paired her ethereal dress with ear piercings galore for an unexpected edge. Keep scrolling to get up close and personal with Sophie's drop-dead-gorgeous gown.

Lily-Rose Depp Looks Like a Pink Dream in Her Chanel Gown

When you're the face of Chanel and you're backed by designer Karl Lagerfeld, you know you're going to be wearing something absolutely magical to the Met Gala. Lily-Rose Depp stepped out for her second Met Gala appearance dressed in a hot-pink gown courtesy of Chanel.

The 17-year-old model looked like a pink dream in this gorgeous strapless dress. It featured two sequined roses, one of which looked like it sprouted up around her shoulder on a vine like a real rose would. She continued on the floral theme by wearing a pair of rose earrings, which made us think, perhaps the rose is a not-so-subtle homage to her name. Have a look at her gorgeous Chanel gown to decide for yourself.

13 Reasons Why Is Updating Its Trigger Warning After Major Backlash

13 Reasons Why has quickly become one of Netflix's most popular series, but not without some controversy. While many have praised the show's honest portrayal of teen suicide and rape, others have argued that the scenes are too graphic and not doing enough to actually point viewers in the direction of preventative help. Executive producer Selena Gomez recently responded to criticism saying they stayed "very true" to the book by Jay Asher, but others haven't been as supportive. The band Car Seat Headrest, who lends their song "Oh! Starving" to the soundtrack, recently blasted the show on social media deeming it "kind of f*cked."

Even though the series is rated TV-MA for mature audiences, and episodes nine and 13 (which depict rape and suicide) include trigger warnings, Netflix is taking things a step further by adding an additional warning about the whole series before the first episode. A spokesperson for Netflix said these changes will go into effect as early as this week. See their full statement below.

There has been a tremendous amount of discussion about our series 13 Reasons Why. While many of our members find the show to be a valuable driver for starting important conversation with their families, we have also heard concern from those who feel the series should carry additional advisories. Currently the episodes that carry graphic content are identified as such and the series overall carries a TV-MA rating. Moving forward, we will add an additional viewer warning card before the first episode as an extra precaution for those about to start the series and have also strengthened the messaging and resource language in the existing cards for episodes that contain graphic subject matter, including the URL 13ReasonsWhy.info - a global resource center that provides information about professional organizations that support help around the serious matters addressed in the show.

Kim Kardashian Looked Classic Vogue Chic at the Met Gala

One way to make a statement in a sea of avant-garde fashion and beauty looks: go with what you know. And for Kim Kardashian, that's classic sexy - sleek hair, center part, smoky eye, contoured cheek, and nude lip. You can likely picture it in your sleep.

For the 2017 Met Gala, Kim brought her best beauty self to the red carpet.

Her hairstylist Michael Silva for T3 confirmed our observation. "Kim's look was inspired by both her classic Kim K look and a combination of Rei Kawakubo and the Commes des Garcons aesthetic," he told POPSUGAR via email. "Rei was very well know for her hard and soft approach to design. With Kim's dress being so feminine and ethereal we decided to keep the hair strong and graphic. We liked that juxtaposition."

To DIY Kim's sleek strands, Silva advised applying a tiny dab of leave-in conditioner to wet hair. Use a flat brush and blow-dry hair downward, staying close to the scalp. Go over it with a flat iron in sections, and mist each part lightly with hair spray.

And what's it like to get ready with a beauty girl like Kim? "It is always so much fun," he enthused. "I've been fortunate enough to have worked with her for a long time. It's like being with a friend getting ready for a night out - only it's the Met Gala, the biggest night out!"

Her longtime makeup artist (of nine years!) Mario Dedivanovic confirmed she really is that fun to get glam with. "She's a dream to work with! Aside from being drop dead gorgeous she is incredibly sweet," he told POPSUGAR via email.

Dedivanovic described her makeup as polished, clean, and matte. "Kim has a very relaxed and clean vibe right now and that's exactly what we were feeling for tonight's Met Gala," he added. "Her gown was clean and all white so we wanted a look to compliment that.

That said, they did add in a nuanced nod to the Comme des Garcons theme. "Classic Kim is a bit more dewy with bronzed/shimmer eyes," he explained. "This look was matte and using white matte shadow on the eyes. Something she doesn't do very often."

The exact shade was Chanel Ombre Première Longwear Powder Eyeshadow in Sable, which Dedivanovic applied "not too close to the inner corner." Adding, "I kept it more on the outside, with very little on the lower lashline."

His key for copying the style at home is to look "very lashy," he confirmed. He used Chanel Le Volume Mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

Also, copy her signature nude lip by prepping your pout with what Kim used: Kiehl's Butterstick Lip Treatment SPF 25 in Untinted topped with Rouge Allure Velvet Luminous Matte Lip Colour in Libre.

34 Met Gala Photos That Will Make You Feel Like You Were There

The Met Gala swept through NYC on Monday night, bringing a bevy of A-list celebrities from the worlds of TV, movies, music, and of course, fashion. The annual event, which honored Comme des Garçons designer Rei Kawakubo, was hosted by Vogue's Anna Wintour, as well as Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Caroline Kennedy, and Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen, who couldn't keep their hands off each other while posing for photos.

Cute couples, hot guys, and fun-loving BFFs took over the red carpet, and stars enjoyed an exclusive look at the Costume Institute exhibition before mingling at their tables and partying it up inside. Keep reading to see the best pictures of the night!

Priyanka Chopra Looks Like a '90s Grunge Goddess at the Met Gala

This year's Met Gala theme was a tribute to Comme des Garcons's founder Rei Kawakubo, who embraces the avant-garde. Beauty chameleon Priyanka Chopra did not shy away from the challenge, with makeup artist Pati Dubroff re-creating "the glow that comes from being in a humid storm" on the star's stunning face. Dubroff, who used Laura Mercier makeup to craft the breathtaking look, exclusively revealed the details to POPSUGAR.

As you'll notice, there was a strong monochromatic aspect to Priyanka's beauty style (so grunge!), with the centerpiece of the look being her flashy metallic eye. "I thought about desert dunes and the play of light on those tones," Dubroff shared over email. "Her eye is like a bolt of lightning, mimicking her incredible Jennifer Fisher earrings."

Dubroff prepped Priyanka's skin by applying RéVive Moisturizing Renewal Eye Cream ($150) and RéVive Sensitif Renewal Cream ($215), then massaged in the formulas with frozen Makeup Drop applicators ($20 each), which depuffed and soothed her skin.

To create the "lightning bolt" eye, Dubroff created the shape with a sparkling liner, then topped it with the Metallik Pewter shade from Laura Mercier Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays ($48). She added extra shine to the very center of the lid using MAC Cosmetics Pigment in Platinum ($22). Dubroff completed Priyanka's look with a cool chocolate lip, using Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Crushed Pecan ($28).

While Priyanka obviously is flawless, she doesn't have to worry if her makeup melts slightly throughout the evening. Dubroff swears the foundation will last all night, but the highlighter layered on top may wear - and that's a good thing. "The more it wears and get juicy, the better," the makeup artist insisted, reminding us of the "humid storm" theme. (The star's skin will look sweaty and glowy by the time she heads out of her last afterparty, which is damn sexy.) Keep reading to see more shots of this hot look!

Chrissy Teigen Just Shared the First IRL Glimpse of Her Becca Palette at the Met Gala

With the launch of the Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette happening any day now, we're looking for every and any clue as to the exact debut date. While "early May" is all we know right now, we've been keeping ourselves occupied with sneak peeks at swatches. Now we're finally seeing the palette's pigmentation in real life: Chrissy herself rocked the palette to the Met Gala!

According to the brand, makeup artist Mary Phillips used the Becca palette's Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighter in Rose Gold and Beach Nectar, then layered on the Sunlit Bronzer in Malibu Soleil. "I very faintly applied for an all-over glow, and then more concentrated under the brow bone. I swiped along her cheeks by the temple and top of the cheekbone. Then, I very sparingly dusted some more along the side," Phillips divulged, adding, "sometimes your highlight needs some depth, too!"

Chrissy's luminous radiance was the perfect accent to her glamorous Marchesa gown, and seeing her rock the Becca palette only made us want it even more! Keep reading for more shots of Chrissy's glam.

Bella Hadid Gets a Haircut to Match Her Sexy Met Gala Look

Bella Hadid's new bob is remarkable for several reasons. First of all, we managed to notice it in spite of her sexy Met Gala bodysuit. Second of all, she's rocking it not long after her breakup with The Weeknd.

Also, unlike many faux-bob-loving celebs, Bella appears to have actually gotten a chop. Hair guru Jen Atkin shared a video on Instagram with the caption "When that new new haircut is on POINT @bellahadid!" The bob comes courtesy of Ward Stegerhoek. Scroll through to copy it for yourself.

Lupita Nyong'o Proves the More Color the Better With Her Rainbow Eye Shadow

Lupita Nyong'o may have opted for an off-the-shoulder orange gown at the 2017 Met Gala, but no color was off limits for her eye shadow. The stunning actress got ready with Lancôme and makeup artist Nick Barose, where he turned her eyes into an actual water color painting. Nick told POPSUGAR he used Lancôme Color Design Eye Shadows in Miss Sweetheart D, A Touch of Coral, All That Shimmers, and Exhibition. He said that he "smudged a variety of shades and textures to create a dramatic look in touches of bold fuchsia, purple, blue, peach, and yellow."

With Lupita in such a bright floral-colored gown, Nick said that he "wanted to play on the dress's embellishments without making the makeup too delicate or lady-like. There's a certain roughness and spontaneity to the bold color strokes, so I created smudges on the eyes using many different colors, while keeping the rest of the face polished to balance out the look."

Eyes Up Here! Kendall Jenner's Met Gala Makeup Also Deserves a Look

While everyone was talking about Kendall Jenner's sheer gown at the Met Gala (understandably), we were eyeing her head-turning lip color. The model showed off the limited-edition lipstick shade she created with Estée Lauder: Pure Color Envy Sculpting Lipstick in Carnal.

According to makeup artist Mary Phillips, "Kendall had been thinking about her makeup for a week or so, but then last night an episode of the show aired and she got an amazing response from this red lip she was wearing - that's when she decided to do a bold, red lip using the shade she created with Estée Lauder." Dress, schmess; we want that lipstick.

Blink and You'll Miss This Edgy Detail of Solange Knowles's Met Gala Beauty Look

Solange Knowles is no stranger to sporting head-turning Met Gala styles, but this year, you have to look very closely to see the daring detail she tried.

To go with her puffer-coat-like Thom Browne jumpsuit, celebrity makeup artist Lottie traced a graphic white liner down the side of Solange's cheek and onto her earlobe. The artist used Nars Cosmetics Larger Than Life Eyeliner in Santa Monica Blvd ($26) to create the simple but stunning look, keeping the rest of the performer's appearance minimalist.

We're fairly certain that this is the first time we've spotted the ear makeup trend IRL, and we must admit, we completely dig it. We could totally see this makeup masterpiece looking badass at a music festival in a variety of different colors, like black, cobalt blue, and orange. Blake Lively Wore One Perfect Ponytail to the Met Gala

Vogue darling Blake Lively attended the 2017 Met Gala with her hot husband, Ryan Reynolds, and a ponytail that made us say, "ooh!"

The long, voluminous ponytail showed off Blake's beachy texture with a little added texture: crimping.

We got the exclusive details from celebrity stylist Rod Ortega using T3 tools.

"My inspiration was the New Romantic, '80s-style pony," Ortega said. "I'm excited about this because I grew up in the '80s, and it's personal to me. I felt really close to the theme." He also explained the updo complemented the dress instead of competing with it.

Ortega described the look as a "double pony with lift and herringbone texture - an edge to a classic pony."

Here's what you need to know to DIY at home: "For the crimped texture in the pony, use a smaller plated flat iron - I like the T3 SinglePass Compact - to bend the hair back and forth," Ortega explained. "Another tip is the use flat elastic bands instead of your typical round ones as they are easy to stack and help create lift in the pony."

Back to Blake's texture. We had to know how he worked with it and showed it off so well!
"I always blow out the hair with the T3 Featherweight Luxe hair dryer to keep Blake's natural texture, as the soft air of the dryer helps the texture come through. Less is best to bring out texture! I only work with light oils and very little hair products. L'Oreal Spray Shine L'Oreal Paris EverStyle Smooth & Shine Serum is great for this, too."

When it came to makeup, she also kept it light, sticking to gorgeous gold shades.

Makeup artist Kristofer Buckle for L'Oréal Paris commented on the look in a press release, "We decided to keep Blake's makeup soft with a touch of gold. We didn't want to go too heavy with the makeup since her Versace gown made such a statement…something heavy would be too theatrical. Instead, we went for bronze-tone makeup – both on the eyes and on the face."

Don't Let Rihanna's Dress Distract You From Her Insanely Magical Highlight

Our first thought when Rihanna stepped out at the 2017 Met Gala: wow, that woman knows how to dress for a Comme des Garcons theme. But once we zoomed in a little closer, our thoughts escalated to: holy sh*t, forget about her dress, Rihanna's makeup absolutely won the red carpet. At one of the most famous fashion events of the year, Rihanna managed to turn us into the heart-eye emoji from the second we saw her glowing eye-shadow-turned-highlight look.

She proved that eye shadow absolutely does not have to stop at your eyes and that there's no such thing as too much highlighter. Jaden Smith Brought His Dreads as a Date to the Met Gala

It's 2017, people, and nothing is too avant-garde for the red carpet, but Jaden Smith's 2017 Met Gala accessory/date might be taking things to a whole new level. Last month, Will Smith hilariously admitted to cutting his son's hair for a movie role, but we had no idea that Jaden was saving his locks for this special occasion.

Jaden pulled up to the Met Gala with the remnants of his haircut in hand and, well, we have so many questions. First, should we be calling this art? Does it hold his phone and wallet like a clutch? Is there still a hair tie around it? Between his shining grill, matching chains, and bouquet of hair, this kid is too cool for us. Keep reading to see photos of Jaden and his blond date.

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady Showed the Met Gala PDA We Were All Waiting For

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen arrived in style for the Met Gala in NYC on Monday. Gisele wore a stunning, formfitting gray dress, and Tom cleaned up in a dark velvet suit jacket; the couple showed off their usual steamy PDA while posing for photos on the red carpet, kissing and cuddling while Tom kept his hand on Gisele's butt. Gisele and Tom are cochairing the annual event with Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour, Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, and Caroline Kennedy. It's the first time the supermodel and Super Bowl winner have attended the gala since 2014. Look through to see Tom and Gisele's best photos from the night!

You Don't Have to Watch the Disney Channel to Obsess Over This Descendants 2 Song

The first track for Disney Channel's highly anticipated sequel, Descendants 2, is here, and it's making us super nostalgic. Not only does the track, "Ways to Be Wicked," reunite us with the offspring of Disney's classic villains, but it's also strangely reminiscent of another original movie, High School Musical 2. Doing the wave in the hallway? Check. Using classroom paper as confetti? Check. Dancing in front the school? Check. Infectious tune that you won't be able to get out of your head? Double check. Of course, the similarities shouldn't come as too much of a shock though. The movies were both created by famous director and choreographer Kenny Ortega. You can catch all the action when Descendants 2 premieres this Summer.

Is It Hot in Here or Is It Just Rami Malek at the Met Gala?

Rami Malek was red hot at this year's Met Gala. The Mr. Robot star showed up at fashion's biggest night out wearing a custom Dior Homme tuxedo with a black floral corsage to match his jet black shoes. While red seemed to be a popular color on the red carpet, we think it's safe to say Rami Malek rocked it best for the fellas. Allow yourself to quench your Rami Malek thirst with more photos of his sharp Met Gala look ahead.

Sarah Paulson Freaks the F*ck Out After Spotting Madonna at the Met Gala

Can someone check on Sarah Paulson? Because it looks like the American Horror Story actress might have had a heart attack after bumping into Madonna on the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday. As you can see in the hilarious photo above, the camouflage-clad music legend was busy posing with designer Jeremy Scott when Sarah spotted her from behind. Being a low-key superfan of Madonna's (Like a Virgin was the first album she ever bought!), she naturally freaked the f*ck out. Luckily she calmed down enough to help Madonna out with her lengthy train and the two shared a funny moment together. We thought nothing would be able to compete with Rihanna's epic moment at this year's event, but we might have a winner.

Holographic Eyeliner Is the Latest Galactic Trend Blowing Up on Instagram

Time to dig up last year's holiday wrapping paper and tinsel to try out Instagram's new fad: holographic eyeliner. The style is starting to pop up on Instagram as the latest iteration of the unicorn/galaxy trend.

Women trying these looks out are stating their inspiration as Pat McGrath and Vlada Haggerty. And according to them, it's pretty easy to DIY! Just create your normal eye makeup look - bold brows, lush lashes, etc. Cut a tight-lined or superwinged eyeliner piece out of your most festive piece of holographic paper. Eyelash glue is how you can adhere it to your skin. We even saw someone try a "shattered glass" look, inspired by this K-Beauty trend.

Sophie Turner's Met Gala Dress Is Giving Us Major GOT Season 1 Flashbacks

When Sophie Turner arrived at the Met Gala, we immediately had flashbacks to the first season of Game of Thrones. Back then, her character, Sansa Stark, was more innocent compared to the brooding badass she's transformed into throughout the series, and her dainty Louis Vuitton gown was the perfect ode to the Sansa we used to know.

The Kardashians Didn't Need Kanye West to Steal the Show at the Met Gala

It isn't a party without at least one of the Kardashian-Jenners present. On Monday, Kim Kardashian and Kendall and Kylie Jenner attended the Met Gala in NYC. While the mom of North and Saint looked elegant in her simple white gown and minimal jewelry, her little sisters went for something a bit more flashy. Kylie wore a flapper-like number and Kendall opted for a barely there black dress. Of course, one member of the famous clan was missing during the event: Kanye West.

According to People, Kim's husband wasn't ready to return to the red carpet following his mental breakdown and hospitalization last year. "He's not going because he's not ready to start attending big events," a source told the magazine. "He's doing great but wants to keep his stress levels low and just wants to take more time off. Kim and Kanye are in a great place." Looks like the three ladies managed to hold down the fort in his absence.

It's Ladies Night and the Feeling's Right at the Met Gala

The Met Gala was full of gorgeous couples on Monday night, but there were also a handful of celebrities who turned the event into their own personal girls' night. While Lena Dunham celebrated the end of Girls with showrunner Jenni Konner, stars like Naomi Watts, Stella McCartney, and Kate Hudson served up some serious fierceness on the red carpet. Not to mention all the sweet mother-daughter and sibling moments. Apparently it was ladies night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and we didn't get the memo.

Gwyneth Paltrow Stuns at the Met Gala After Vowing She'd "Never Go Again"

Gwyneth Paltrow was the epitome of classic beauty at the Met Gala on Monday night. The 44-year-old actress hit the red carpet in a sleek, baby pink gown reminiscent of the Calvin Klein dress she wore during her first-ever appearance at the high-fashion event back in 1995. Although her number was certainly a show-stopper, it was her arrival at the Met Gala period that had people talking. As you might recall, in 2013 Gwyneth infamously told USA Today that she can't stand going to the fashion elite's fete year after year. "I'm never going again," she declared. "It was so un-fun. It was boiling. It was too crowded. I did not enjoy it at all."

Not long after her scathing review, she doubled down during an interview with Australian radio show hosts Kyle and Jackie O. "It sucked," she said. "It seems like the it's the best thing in the world, you always think, 'Oh my god, it's going to be so glamorous and amazing and you're going to see all of these people' and then you get there and it's so hot and it's so crowded and everyone's pushing you.'" Getting back into Anna Wintour's good graces is no easy feat (maybe she offered her a free Goop subscription?), but fortunately it looks like it was worth it. Gwyneth happily smiled for photographers and struck a pose with fellow guest ASAP Rocky before heading inside to admire the exhibit.
