Maybe because he could have been spending the last 12 years at Lake Como hanging out with George Clooney and Matt Damon instead of being stuck in a house with 85 kids, speaking 15 different languages. - Brad seeks joint custody. NBC News confirmed on Nov. 4 that the actor has filed for joint physical custody of the children. On Nov. 7, Angelina's rep told ET in a statement that "childcare professionals have encouraged a legal agreement accepted and signed by both sides over a week ago." They added that Angelina releasing "the names of [the children's] therapists and other mental health professionals" violated their initial agreement to protect the children's privacy. "[She] appears to be determined to ignore even agreed upon standards relating to the children's best interest," the filing reads.
- Brad spends Christmas with his kids. According to Us Weekly, Brad saw his children over the holiday weekend for a gift exchange that Angelina organized. An insider told the publication that "[Brad] gave them presents and it was cordial."
- Angelina's lawyer slams Brad. According to TMZ, Angelina agreed to seal court documents related to their six children. The site also reports that the actress's lawyer filed legal documents that claim Brad only wants to keep the details private because he's "terrified that the public will learn the truth." "[Brad is trying to] deflect from [his] own role in the media storm which has engulfed the parties' children," the document reads. After agreeing to seal their divorce and custody documents, the actors' reps told Us Weekly, "The parties and their counsel have signed agreements to preserve the privacy rights of their children and family by keeping all court documents confidential and engaging a private judge to make any necessary legal decisions and to facilitate the expeditious resolution of any remaining issues. The parents are committed to act as a united front to effectuate recovery and reunification."
- Angelina opens up about her new family dynamic. During an interview with BBC World News in February, the actress was asked about the split by reporter Yalda Hakim. "I don't want to say very much about that, except to say it was a very difficult time," Angelina said. "We are a family and we will always be a family, and we will get through this time and hopefully be a stronger family for it. Many, many people find themselves in this situation. My whole, my family . . . we've all being through a difficult time. My focus is my children, our children . . . and my focus is finding this way through . . . I am coping with finding a way through to make sure that this somehow makes us stronger and closer. It's been a difficult few months. Right now, I'm going through a moment when just everybody's in my room. Two dogs, two hamsters and two children at the moment. It's wonderful. But, usually, I just wake up trying to figure out who's going to get [the] dog out, who's going to start the pancakes and did anybody brush their teeth."
- Brad reportedly reaches out to ex Jennifer Aniston. Brad allegedly tracked down Jen's phone number through "a tangled web" of contacts in order to reach out to her on her 48th birthday in February. "They started talking once he wished her a happy birthday," a source told Us Weekly, further explaining that Brad has "confided in Jen" and "told her he's having a hard time with his split." His olive branch has supposedly led to them "exchanging a few texts reminiscing about the past." The insider also noted that "Justin is OK with them being friends," because he knows "Jen just wants to be nice."
- Brad and Angelina are talking again. According to US Weekly, the former couple is back on speaking terms. "They are in a place where they can put anger or hurt aside to focus on their children and how they plan to coparent." Brad also "lost a ton of weight" in the wake of their divorce, but it likely isn't all due to stress. "He's focusing on himself again, watching what he eats and has a chef making him healthy meals. He's exercising. He's been outdoors a lot, hiking and walking. He's had a lot of time to focus on himself," an insider revealed.
- Brad opens up to GQ in a big way. In his first interview since the split announcement, Brad talks about his divorce in GQ, admitting he's going to therapy, and talking about his drinking. He also talks about his family being "ripped apart," but says only good things about Angelina.

Rihanna and Lupita Snap Selfies at the Met Gala After Their Imaginary Movie Goes Viral
After Rihanna completely slayed the Met Gala red carpet, she met up with pal Lupita Nyong'o inside the event. The ladies were spotted snapping selfies - while Aziz Ansari stood idly and awkwardly by - in their avant-garde looks before famed photographer Mario Testino finally stepped in to lend his professional eye.
The last time we saw this power pair together was during Paris Fashion Week back in 2014, but their friendship was at the center of an amazing imagined movie script that made the rounds on social media recently. After a Twitter user resurfaced an image of Rihanna and Lupita sitting front row together at the Miu Miu runway show with the caption "A picture for the history books," someone else mused that "Rihanna looks like she scams rich white men and Lupita is the computer smart best friend that helps plan [them]." Lupita and Rihanna exchanged some epic tweets that ended up involving director Ava Duvernay and Insecure star Issa Rae, who both expressed interest in the "project."

Everything We Know About the Balmain x L'Oréal Lipstick Collection So Far
Try not to scream (or faint) with excitement, dear makeup addicts. Word around town is that L'Oréal Paris is teaming up with French fashion house Balmain for the capsule lipstick collection we've been waiting for. If it's anywhere near as fabulous as the Balmain x H&M clothing line from a few years ago, this upcoming collab is sure to be the source of our newest lipstick addiction. After all, couture + affordable cosmetics = a literal dream come true.
The highly anticipated line will include 12 new shades that fit into three different color themes, according to WWD. Although we don't have many details on exactly what shades will be included, it seems like Olivier Rousteing, Balmain's creative director, has had a say in the color-making process. Considering the fact that Rousteing is the fashionable genius behind some of Kim Kardashian's and Kendall Jenner's signature looks, our expectations are pretty high.
A L'Oréal Paris representative told POPSUGAR that the collection will be available in select US retailers starting in September 2017, so mark your calendars and start a countdown now! Other than that, both brands are being very mum on the whole thing so far, but the teasers ahead have us itching for more intel. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
A Leaked Executive Order Might Enact a Rollback of LGBTQ Rights
A proposed "religious freedom" executive order has been circulating since the beginning of February, but until May 2 it remained ominous conjecture. On Tuesday morning Politico reported that the leaked draft, which The Nation originally obtained through senior administration officials in February, would be signed on Thursday.
BREAKING: Trump expected to sign religious liberty executive order Thursday. A triumph for Pence. With @TimAlberta https://t.co/dCzy4n9uUI
- Shane Goldmacher (@ShaneGoldmacher) May 2, 2017
Under the guise of promoting religious freedom, the so-called Establishing a Government-Wide Initiative to Respect Religious Freedom would permit both individuals and organizations the right to discriminate based on "sincerely held religious beliefs." In Sarah Posner's February analysis of the drafted order for The Nation, she cited critics as describing it as "sweeping" and "staggering."
According to Politico's report, the executive order's original draft was allegedly prevented from being signed by Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. Since then, Vice President Mike Pence has worked to rewrite the order, but officials who have seen the most recent draft told Poltico that it had largely remained unchanged.
Here's a brief rundown on what February's version of the proposal mandated.
- It would allow individuals and organizations the right to disengage from activities that "violate their conscience."
- It would allow employers to refuse contraceptive coverage if it violates their religious beliefs.
- It would protect the tax-exempt status of religious organizations or private company that "believes, speaks, or acts (or declines to act) in accordance with the belief that marriage is or should be recognized as the union of one man and one woman," and that an "individual's immutable biological sex as objectively determined by anatomy" and "that human life begins at conception and merits protection at all stages of life."
- It would allow federally funded adoption agencies the right to discriminate against same-sex couples.
- It might allow federal employees the right "to refuse on religious grounds to process applications" of same-sex couples based on the proposal's broad language.
- It would establish a new bureau in the Justice Department that would protect "religious freedom."
The executive order's decrees echo a bill passed in Mississippi that was eventually ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge; however, advocates for the law have appealed the decision. It's also an order that many have attributed to Pence's influence and beliefs. The ultraconservative former governor of Indiana endeavored to pass a similar bill during his tenure. Following widespread backlash to the original law he signed back in 2015, Pence signed a revised version of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (Indiana), which kept a majority of the first's discriminatory tenants but prohibited businesses from objecting to serve people based on sexual orientation.
7 Models Reveal Their Go-To Dry Shampoos For Looking Fresh Off Duty
Washing your hair every day? Ain't nobody got time for that. Especially models, who are constantly galivanting around the city for casting calls, fittings, photo shoots, and fashion shows. Their hair still needs to be fab, though, as looking good is literally part of their job description. That's where the ol' dry shampoo comes in handy.
For recommendations on the best products, we went backstage at NYFW and asked models with gorgeous hair what they were using in between shampoo days. Model or not, we can all relate to not having time for a proper shampoo and blow dry but still wanting our hair to look – and smell – amazing. Here's what they shared with us.
What Do Pregnancy Dreams Mean?
Whether you tend to remember your dreams or not, having a dream about being pregnant is pretty unforgettable. I'm sure you can relate to that panicky feeling, where you suddenly wake up and reach for your belly just to make sure. That kind of dream is so vivid that for a split second, you're not sure if it's real.
I've always wondered what those kinds of dreams mean. Is my body trying to tell me something? Am I really pregnant? Do I secretly want to be pregnant? Is someone I know pregnant? Does it have anything to do with pregnancy at all?
Actually, pregnancy dreams for women are pretty common, and they usually represent new beginnings, renewed connections with others, changes in your life or career, or something in the future you're looking forward to. Being pregnant in your dream is usually a positive thing and indicates that you're growing in your life or in a relationship. It can also be a symbol for how you're blossoming creatively or spiritually. If your overall feeling in the dream was of happiness and anticipation, then I'd try and think about what exciting or life-changing events are happening right now or that what you've been hoping will happen. If having a baby is something you're thinking about, your dream could definitely be about the actual baby. But if pregnancy is far from your mind, then most likely the baby in your dream is just a metaphor for something in your life that's new, exciting, different, or joyful.
Have you ever experienced a pregnancy dream?

Texas Could Enact One of the Harshest Immigration Laws in the Country
Texas is about to join Arizona on the list of states with sweeping anti-immigrant laws. On April 30, Texas's House of Representatives approved Senate Bill 4, which had already passed through the Senate. Governor Greg Abbott, a Republican anti-immigrant stalwart, is expected to sign the bill following a committee hearing.
Senate Bill 4 (SB4) echoes the tenants of Arizona's notorious "Show Me Your Papers" legislation that passed in 2010 but was later amended and stripped of its strength. Texas's proposed law would allow police officer to question the immigration status of anyone detained with "reasonable suspicion" of breaking any law. What's dangerous about this is it affords police the power to potentially incriminate detainees as opposed to arrestees.
In addition to emboldening police to detain civilians who might be undocumented immigrants, the bill also prohibits cities in the state from passing bills that would curtail SB4's provisions. Police would be required to comply with federal requests to detain suspected undocumented immigrants, making officers pseudo immigration agents. At its core, SB4 targets "sanctuary city" and preys upon people whose only crime is existing as an immigrant. Even if an undocumented immigrant has not broken a law, SB4 permits police with the power to question anyone's immigration status.
Critics and demonstrators have appealed to the governor since the SB4 passed through the Senate in February. One state lawmaker, Victoria Neave, protested the bill's House vote with a four-day fast. Other activists challenged Governor Abbott at his office in Austin on May 1: after the building closed 24 activists (including one Austin City Council Member) were arrested according to the Texas Tribune.
It seems unlikely that Abbott will veto SB4 given his past statements about defunding sanctuary cities. Abbott went after Travis County police department when the sheriff, Sally Hernandez, announced that her county's jail would not detain immigrants for federal authorities. Abbott sent the county, which encompasses most of Austin, TX, a letter demanding it reverse the policy or face defunding.

Brad Pitt Opens Up About the Agony of Watching His Kids See Their Family Get "Ripped Apart"
Since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt eight months ago, the War Machine actor has remained relatively quiet when it comes to speaking about their split. Not anymore. Brad appears on the cover of GQ Style's Summer issue, and the interview with writer Michael Paterniti offers an in-depth look into how he's coped with the end of his and Angelina's two-year marriage and 12-year relationship, as well as the struggles their six children now face. Fortunately the Hollywood heartthrob is dedicated to making a change for the better. "You know, I just started therapy," he said, noting that the entire family also signed up for group counseling in the aftermath of the split. "I love it. I love it. I went through two therapists to get the right one."
Though details about what caused the divorce have been murky save for an official statement (he said "so little of [the rumors] are accurate"), there was reportedly a violent incident between Brad and 15-year-old Maddox aboard a private plane, which was followed by Angelina's divorce filing five days later. An FBI investigation into Brad's behavior was opened, and despite the fact he was later cleared of wrongdoing, he didn't escape the incident unscathed. "I was really on my back and chained to a system when Child Services was called," he said. "After that, we've been able to work together to sort this out. We're both doing our best. I heard one lawyer say, 'No one wins in court - it's just a matter of who gets hurt worse.' And it seems to be true. You spend a year just focused on building a case to prove your point and why you're right and why they're wrong, and it's just an investment in vitriolic hatred. I just refuse. And fortunately my partner in this agrees. It's just very, very jarring for the kids, to suddenly have their family ripped apart."
The announcement of their split was followed by a vicious back-and-forth in the court system, as well as multiple reports of Brad's alcohol and drug abuse popping up in the tabloids. A divorce is never easy on a child, especially one in the public eye, but Brad says he and Angelina have now agreed to handle their split "with great care and delicacy" to protect them. "There's a lot to tell them because there's understanding the future, there's understanding the immediate moment and why we're at this point, and then it brings up a lot of issues from the past that we haven't talked about. So, our focus is that everyone comes out stronger and better people - there is no other outcome."
Now that the dust has somewhat settled, he's been crashing at the home of friend and sculptor Thomas Houseago, since he can't stand to be alone in his Hollywood Hills mansion without the family. "This house was always chaotic and crazy, voices and bangs coming from everywhere, and then, as you see, there are days like this: very . . . very solemn," he said. The quiet has an upside, though, since it's offered the 53-year-old a much-needed opportunity to examine his life. "I remember literally having this thought a year, a year and a half ago; someone was going through some scandal," he recalled. "Something crossed my path that was a big scandal - and I went, 'Thank God I'm never going to have to be a part of one of those again.' I live my life, I have my family, I do my thing, I don't do anything illegal, I don't cross anyone's path. What's the David Foster Wallace quote? 'Truth will set you free, but not until it's done with you first.'"
There's no doubt he's had the support of his friends during this difficult time, but he revealed he's "really good at cutting myself off, and it's been a problem. I need to be more accessible, especially to the ones I love." He also admitted he has a hard time letting go, which is why he didn't want to divorce Angelina at first. "The first urge is to cling on. And then you've got a cliché: 'If you love someone, set them free.' Now I know what it means, by feeling it. It means to love without ownership. It means expecting nothing in return. But it sounds good written. It sounds good when Sting sings it. It doesn't mean f*ck-all to me until you live it."
His reexamination of his family was not only good for his mind but also his body, since he hasn't had a drink or a smoke for half a year. "I can't remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn't boozing or had a spliff, or something. Something. And you realize that a lot of it is, um - cigarettes, you know, pacifiers. And I'm running from feelings . . . I mean, we have a winery. I enjoy wine very, very much, but I just ran it to the ground. I had to step away for a minute. And truthfully I could drink a Russian under the table with his own vodka. I was a professional. I was good," he said, before adding that he didn't "want to live that way anymore."
"In the end, you find: I am those things I don't like. That is a part of me. I can't deny that," he concluded. "I have to accept that. And in fact, I have to embrace that. I need to face that and take care of that. Because by denying it, I deny myself. I am those mistakes. For me every misstep has been a step toward epiphany, understanding, some kind of joy. Yeah, the avoidance of pain is a real mistake. It's the real missing out on life. It's those very things that shape us, those very things that offer growth, that make the world a better place, oddly enough, ironically. That make us better. By the way, there's no love without loss. It's a package deal."

Is Kink the Future of Monogamy?
Finding the person you want to spend your life with is amazing. That's such an enormous hurdle for many of us. We all want to find love, and once we have it, life is pretty amazing.
But, what happens once we find love? And furthermore, what happens to our sex lives?
When it comes to long-term relationships, we're always looking for new and exciting ways to shake things up in the bedroom. Seriously, just google it. When you're sticking with one person for the long haul, you've got to keep sex fiery.
Where do ruts come from? Well, when you're in love and things are going well, it's easy to fall into a routine. There are only so many different sex positions you can try and lingerie pieces you can buy before even the most aerobic and sexy things can becomes stale.
This is where kink comes in. When you think of kinky sex, the first place your mind goes is to a dungeon, a dominatrix tying up a submissive or an orgy in an erotic room full of oriental rugs.
Just me? Oh, come on. I know I am not alone here.
There is a lot more to kink than that, trust me. What if there were more to kink than just wild sex parties and pain? What if kink were actually the future of monogamy?
"When this happens and we find ourselves in a rut, it's important to set aside some time to reconnect. Believe it or not, sexual intimacy is elemental to happiness," Sandra LaMorgese Ph.D., author, former dominatrix, and CEO of Attainment Studios told POPSUGAR.
Kink may seem extreme, but it may actually be more aligned with monogamy and commitment than you might think.
Doing kinky stuff takes trust
First and foremost, practicing kinky sex takes trust. It seems more likely that you'd be willing to try something weird or taboo with a person you trust, right? Some of the more wild fantasies you have may be nerve-racking or embarrassing - wouldn't it be better to try hot wax play or bondage with a person who loves and respects you?
Whether it's BDSM, role play, or otherwise, a monogamous relationship is a wonderful place to try things you may never have been brave enough to try before. A person who loves you is not going to judge you for wanting to try something unorthodox betwixt the sheets.
If you're going to ask someone to drip melted chocolate on your labia and lick it off, isn't it more likely that you'd ask someone you truly trust? I know I'm less likely to let some random stranger I met in a bar to whip me with a riding crop.
These games are not just for anyone - they're for people who are trying to attempt risky things without a lot of risk, you know? Hell, even Christian Grey was a one-person-at-a-time kind of guy.
Kinky sex can rejuvenate your sex life
Sex in long-term relationships can get stale. Let's just be real here. It's just a fact of life: if you're having sex with the same person, it can get boring.
Don't look at this as a bad thing. As you move along in your years together, you have more room and leverage to try new things. Strong relationships take a willingness to open yourselves up and explore new avenues of pleasure.
Kink is better for your sex life than any list of sex tips. Forget trying new takes on missionary and go darker - explore your deeper fantasies.
Sure, kink is a little unnerving and breaks up the routine you're so comfortable with, but that's a good thing. According to LaMorgese, "Bringing an element of uncertain kinkiness into your sexual relationship can be rejuvenating and powerful! It reawakens our curiosity about each other, gives us courage to try new things, and builds confidence."
Nothing is sexier than confidence. If you can do kink, you can do anything.
Kink brings you closer in more than just the bedroom
Kinky sex can not only awaken your sexuality, but it can even bring you closer together in your relationship.
"Both men and women report feeling closer to their partner after a bout of fulfilling kinky sex. It rejuvenates and strengthens the couple's bond," LaMorgese told us. It's about trying new things and building your trust as a couple.
Trying new things takes that special brand of practice and trust. It's almost like finding a new shared hobby that includes an orgasm and subsequent oxytocin boost. "Sex is best when it is unabashed, unadulterated fun! Remember that developing dynamic, invigorating kinky sexual intimacy takes time - it's important so set aside some time to reconnect as a couple often - by working on it together, you will strengthen your bond, relieve each other's stress, and create amazing new opportunities for happiness and fulfillment," said LaMorgese.
Couples who have kinky sex may actually be happier and healthier. How about that? You can enhance your bond, get closer, and make every element of your relationship stronger - what could be better?
"Being kinky usually means enhancing sexual intimacy with your partner by adding new and creative elements to sex," LaMorgese added.
If you're going to commit to forever with one person, shouldn't it be smokin' hot? If you have fantasies, shouldn't you be able to explore them with someone you love?

Teen Whisperer Bernie Sanders Plans to Pen a Book For Woke Youth
You can add teen hero to the list of Bernie Sanders's accomplishments, right after meme icon. The Vermont Senator and former presidential candidate will pen a book aimed at politically active teens. Titled The Bernie Sanders Guide to Political Revolution, the book's intention is to inspire teens to get involved with causes they care about.
In an interview with Teen Vogue, Sanders said he hopes the book will encourage and inform youth about how government works in reality (vs. how it is described in history books). "Young people are the future of our country. As citizens of the United States, they have a responsibility to participate in our democracy and to help create a government which works for all, rather than just the few," Sanders said to the magazine. "This book will expose them to an unusual political campaign, the excitement of politics and what being a progressive is all about."
Sanders has written more than one book (and an experimental spoken word album) about political discourse. Sanders's most recent book, Our Revolution: A Future to Believe In, came out after the election and detailed his experience running for president as well as butting heads with the Democratic Party establishment.
The book's Fall release is perfect for back-to-school season, as Sanders's book arrives in stores on Aug. 29 and will cost $17.

You Can Visit the Home of the Biggest (and Most Beautiful) Crystals in the World
Whether you believe in the healing power of crystals or are just understandably amazed by their otherworldly beauty, the Crystal Castle needs to be on your travel bucket list.
Crystal Castle and Shambhala Gardens is a retreat that began as "Australia's first direct importer . . . of quality natural crystals from around the world, supplying wholesale crystals around Australia, from the hills of Mullumbimby." But locals wanted in on the action, so limited crystal trading became open to the public. Over the past 30 years, Naren King has scoured the world for the most remarkable - and largest - crystals out there. King even mortgaged the property to procure what are believed to be some of the biggest crystals in the world from Uruguay, like a 5.5-meter amethyst geode, large enough for a person to sit inside and potentially 120 million years old.
Today, people can visit the grounds of the Crystal Castle to take tours of the Shambhala Garden, take crystal and "music of the plants" workshops, and participate in the Crystal Castle Peace Experience, which is described as a "nurturing sound healing meditation" and occurs every afternoon. There is an "enchanted cave" to explore, and guests can take aura photos and have their tarot read. Check out the beautiful photos from Instagram ahead, and dream of the spiritual Australian getaway.
Melania Trump "Liked" a Tweet Implying She Hates Her Husband and We're Confused
As the first lady, Melania Trump should remember that every move she makes is documented, and quite often turned into a meme - whether it's her eyebrow-raising official White House portrait or the reaction to her giving Michelle Obama a Tiffany & Co. box on Inauguration Day; we see it all. But Trump's most recent behavior is more concerning than it is humorous.
The first lady may be using the official FLOTUS Twitter account, but back on her personal pre-FLOTUS account, someone "liked" a tweet that implied she does not like her husband. First spotted by Gizmodo reporter William Turton, the tweet read, "Seems the only #Wall @realDonaldTrump's built is the one between him and @FLOTUS," seen below.

While many were quick to assume this was Melania's subtle way of saying she's not happy in her marriage, we can't assume she did this "liking" herself. First of all, she hasn't tweeted from this account since November, and if she did feel this way, we don't think Twitter would be her first choice of ways to express her emotions.
A spokesperson told the New York Post that the first lady was unaware this happened on her account. "The First Lady wasn't aware of this until I brought it to her attention," spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham said. The "like" on the inflammatory tweet is now gone as well.
Grisham said she doesn't know if Melania's account had be hacked or if someone on her team "liked" the tweet. "Who knows . . . it isn't her primary account these days."
What do you think?
