Who Will Take the Throne After Queen Elizabeth II?
Queen Elizabeth II is the United Kingdom's longest-reigning British monarch, but we can't help but wonder who will take on the crown after her. If she were to abdicate (give up the royal throne), retire, or pass away, her eldest son Prince Charles would become king - making him the oldest heir to accede to the British throne. Of course, he also has the option to immediately pass the crown on to his oldest son, Prince William, who is second in line to the throne, followed by William's two children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
Even though Elizabeth II recently celebrated her 90th birthday, it appears she isn't ready to give up her royal title quite yet. Sarah Bradford, the author of Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Our Times, revealed that she's never even contemplated abdication, adding, "The queen simply feels she must do her duty."
Teacher Reveals Exactly What State Test Scores Get Wrong About Her Students
After what Kelsey LaMar considers a brutal week of testing, all of her students are officially done with state exams. She's thrilled to be able to get her classroom back to teaching and learning but knows that this isn't the end of those scrutinized tests.
"My students are blissfully unaware that their tests have been shipped out of state somewhere to be graded by people who have never taught a day in their lives," she shared on Love What Matter's Facebook page. "In a few months, our scores will come back. They will be plastered in all of the newspapers."
As soon as that happens, Kelsey knows that the test scores will just become numbers for citizens in her town to scrutinized, dissected, and gossiped about. "In their eyes, I will either be a hero to celebrate or just another bad teacher to complain about," she wrote. "The scores will show whether I taught them what they needed to learn. I had an entire year, right?"
For many students in her class, the tests will help give much needed feedback on how she taught certain standards and shed light on potential changes she could make for next year but that isn't the entire picture. "For many of my students, I will feel such pride to see how far they've come," she wrote. "And unfortunately for some, I will wonder what went wrong."
However, there are many more things that those scores won't reveal and that's what Kelsey needs everyone to understand:
They won't show the new Somalian refugee student (knowing very little English) that I was given five minutes before testing. "Hi, I'm your teacher, Mrs. Lamar. Welcome to my class! Here's your computer because we will be testing all week."
They won't show that one of my student's father just went to jail for beating someone to a pulp right in front of him. He is so angry about it that he threw rocks at houses and was sent to juvenile detention for two days.
They won't show the two students with bags under their eyes because their parents were up fighting all night, AGAIN.
They won't show the few students who were so ill they were crying, but their parents sent them to school anyways because they don't have childcare.
They won't show the student whose mom is in the hospital in Denver yet again. She is so sick with anxiety that her mom is going to die that she can think of nothing else.
They won't show the student who fell asleep twice during the first test because he was up all night coughing and his new asthma meds haven't come in yet.
They won't show the student who had to walk his baby brother to his grandma's house the night before because his dad was beating his mom up again.
They won't show the students who had no food at home so they came to school starving.
They won't show the internal struggle of my seven students on IEPs (special education). The students with diagnosed learning disabilities who feel so much success during the year when they are working at a level they can access. However, we hand them a test that they "should" be able to do because they're in fourth grade darnit! And we crush their spirits. All of a sudden the advances they made this year are not good enough because "look what all the other kids can do!"
They won't show that 3/4 of my class come from non-English speaking homes. Most of them will be unable to correctly answer the meaning to obscure English phrases such as, "She wears her heart on her sleeve." However, they are able to translate beautifully for their parents at the grocery store or to make sure their siblings are seen for the correct illnesses at the doctor.
They won't show the fact that almost all of my students learned how to multiply 257 x 35. However, when you ask it in a half page word problem with four other numbers that they don't actually need, they failed. They got so lost trying to dissect the English language that they gave up and just picked two numbers to add.
They won't show that my classroom is comprised of 21 boys and seven girls. Asking young, energetic boys to sit silently for four hours a day for a week is like pure torture for them.
But Kelsey already knows all of this so no matter what the test scores "reveal" she's going to continue doing what she already does everyday: "Teaching and loving my students the best that I know how," she wrote. "Maybe someday we will wake up and realize that a single test score doesn't show the entire picture."

Gigi Hadid's $1,400 MTV Sweatshirt Will Transport You Back to the '90s
Gigi showed some major love for MTV last night in New York. The model stepped out in a casual teal sweatshirt while meeting up with her sister Bella and father Mohamed Hadid for dinner.
Gigi's Marc Jacobs sweatshirt featured a glittery, rainbow-colored MTV logo and retails for a cool $1,400. She wore the nostalgic sweater with a pair of fringed cropped jeans and sock sneakers and finished her look with a pair of tiny '90s sunglasses that Bella was seen wearing earlier that day.
We're not that surprised that Gigi was seen wearing her sister's sunglasses since this isn't the first time the duo have shared items from their wardrobes. Shop Gigi's exact MTV sweatshirt ahead.
The Surprising Way Queen Elizabeth II Is Related to Husband Prince Philip
Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's nearly 70-year marriage has been the subject of such speculation that their early days as a couple have been turned into a new Netflix series, The Crown. Although most people know the basics about how the royal couple fell in love, there's a surprising, little-known tidbit that we sometimes forget: Queen Elizabeth and the duke of Edinburgh are cousins. They share the same great-great-grandparents, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who were first cousins themselves. Although that might seem odd today, it was a fairly common practice for the royals back then since many marriages were done to increase influence in state affairs or to ally with foreign powers. Regardless of their familial relation, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's love story is one for the ages.
When Elizabeth's father, King George VI, visited a Naval college in Dartmouth in 1939, he brought his 13-year-old daughter along to take in the sights. While the King attended to business, a cadet named Philip Mountbatten - Elizabeth's third cousin and a Greek prince - was given the task of showing the future queen around. He must have made quite the impression, because Elizabeth was instantly enamored. In a two-page letter sent to author Betty Shew, who was writing a book about Elizabeth's wedding to Philip in 1947, the then-princess described how she first fell in love with Philip:
"The first time I remember meeting Philip was at the Royal Naval College, Dartmouth, in July 1939, just before the war. (We may have met before at the coronation or the Duchess of Kent's wedding, but I don't remember.) I was 13 years of age and he was 18 and a cadet just due to leave. He joined the Navy at the outbreak of war, and I only saw him very occasionally when he was on leave - I suppose about twice in three years. Then when his uncle and aunt, Lord and Lady Mountbatten, were away he spent various weekends away with us at Windsor. Then he went to the Pacific and Far East for two years."
The couple got married on Nov. 20, 1947, and the rest is history.

13 Reasons Why: Will Selena Gomez Appear in Season 2?
13 Reasons Why was originally planned to be adapted into a feature movie starring Selena Gomez as Hannah, but as production delays came up, Gomez decided she was too old to play the high schooler. Eventually the project moved to Netflix, taking on a miniseries format and completely blowing all expectations out of the water. Now that season two is on the table (but not officially confirmed), we're wondering if there's a possibility that Gomez could appear in new episodes.
While Gomez has publicly spoken about why she chose to be an executive producer rather than a star, she hasn't commented on whether she would consider appearing in future episodes. She has spoken out about the blacklash that the show has been facing due to its graphic portrayal of teen suicide, but until we get official word from Netflix that season two is on the way, I doubt she'll chime in about acting.
Obviously Hannah is now played by Katherine Langford - and who knows if there will even be an opportunity for Hannah to appear in season two - but perhaps Gomez could star in another role. We have a few ideas for how the show could expand beyond the story in Jay Asher's book, including prequel or sequel episodes, and we're even wondering if the series would take on a format like Skins and feature an entirely new cast and storyline. The latter route would make it easy for Gomez to slide in as a new character!
The Met Gala Was a Gathering Place For Justin Bieber's Ex-Girlfriends (and His Rumored New One)
The Met Gala went down in NYC on Monday, and in addition to the night's theme providing gorgeous fashion from some of our favorite stars, there was also a glaring theme among some of the younger guests: a lot of them have dated Justin Bieber. The "I'm the One" singer's most famous ex, Selena Gomez, was in attendance with her boyfriend, The Weeknd, and some of his past flings, including Hailey Baldwin and Sofia Richie, were also there. And in another weird twist of fate, Justin's rumored new girlfriend, Pitch Perfect 2 star Hailee Steinfeld, also made an appearance. A fan snapped a photo of Justin meeting up with Hailee after the big night, but she recently shut down dating rumors. While we don't think his exes became best friends while bonding in the bathroom (besides pals Hailey and Kendall Jenner), it was pretty odd seeing them all pop up at the same event. Hollywood is a small world, y'all.

Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin Were Spotted Holding Hands Again
Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin might be giving their love another try. The couple, who ended their four-year relationship in March, were spotted holding hands (again!) during a recent trip to The Grove in LA on Tuesday. Matching in all-black outfits, the two showed sweet PDA as they made their way around the shopping center. The former Vampire Diaries costars have been extra friendly recently, causing many fans to think they've reconciled. Aside from enjoying a recent romantic date night, the Originals actress added even more fuel to the "are they back together?" fire by posting a snapshot of Paul on Instagram. Maybe they're just letting the photos of them together do all the talking?

A Look at Charming Prince Philip Through the Years
Before Princess Elizabeth became Queen Elizabeth, she married the handsome foreign Prince Philip from Greece, who also happens to be her third cousin. According to Sally Bedell Smith's biography titled Elizabeth the Queen, Philip came from a tumultuous background despite his lineage. Born in 1921 on the island of Corfu, he moved to Paris at age 1 with his parents, Alice Marie and Prince Andrew of Greece. By age 8, he'd headed to England for boarding school. With generous good looks and confidence, Philip made his way to England with the help of royal relatives. He would later be invited to have lunch with the royal family, and that's when Elizabeth reportedly fell for him. During World War II, Philip served in the Mediterranean and Pacific, and he and Elizabeth wrote each other letters. By 1946, he was back in London and making regular visits to Buckingham Palace. During that Summer, he spent a month at the royal family's Balmoral Estate, where he proposed. Their wedding was held at Westminster Abbey on Nov. 20, 1947.
During their 70 years of marriage, most of them during Elizabeth's reign as the monarch, Prince Philip has been as constant as the queen herself, although he's a bit more controversial, making a few insensitive gaffes. But when he's not giving the press an unfortunate quote to run, he's either by the queen's side, working as a patron for several charities, or, until recently, enjoying carriage racing. In honor of his retirement, let's look back at pictures of Prince Philip over the years, then see the facts about the British royal family every die-hard fan should know.

11 Things You Didn't Know About Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's Royal Relationship

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this year, which is a pretty amazing feat regardless of the fact that they're royalty. Whether you think you know a lot about the couple or are hankering for more details about their decades-long marriage, we've got a handful of facts about the royal couple that might surprise you.
- For starters, they're related. That's right: Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip are actually second cousins once removed through King Christian IX of Denmark, and third cousins through their great-great-grandmother, Queen Victoria. Interestingly enough, Victoria married her first cousin, Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, in 1840.
- They met when Elizabeth was just a little girl. The future couple were first introduced in 1934, at the wedding of Philip's cousin Princess Marina of Greece and Denmark to Prince George, Duke of Kent (Elizabeth's uncle). At the time, she was just 8 years old. They saw each other again three years later, but it was during a meeting at the Royal Naval College in Dartmouth in July 1939 - Elizabeth was 13 and Philip was 18 - that they fell in love and began to exchange letters.
- Elizabeth's dad gave his blessing for their marriage (on one condition). Philip asked King George VI for his daughter's hand in marriage in 1946, and the king granted his permission under the condition that a formal engagement was delayed until Elizabeth turned 21 the following April; both he and his wife, Queen Elizabeth, felt that their daughter was "too young," and were disappointed that she wanted to marry the first man she met.

- Their betrothal came with a bit of controversy. Philip and Elizabeth's engagement was officially announced in July 1947. The British public largely dismissed him as "a German" and the queen mother reportedly referred to him as "the Hun." Many of the king's advisors "did not think him good enough" for Elizabeth; he was foreign-born, didn't have money, and his three sisters all married German princes (some with Nazi ties).
- Philip abandoned his royal titles before marrying Elizabeth. Born Prince Philip of Greece and Denmark, Philip renounced those titles in 1957 in an attempt to gain favorable media coverage and blend a bit more seamlessly into his fiancée's family. He took on the style of Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten, adopting the surname of his mother's British family. He also converted from Greek Orthodoxy to Anglicanism.
- Some of their family members were not allowed at the wedding. Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II tied the knot at Westminster Abbey on Nov. 20, 1947. Being that it was just two years after World War II ended, it was not cool for Philip's German family members (including his sisters) to be invited to the wedding. Also not invited was Elizabeth's uncle, the former King Edward VIII, who abdicated the throne in December 1936.
- Elizabeth originally took her husband's name. On the morning of their wedding, Philip was made the Duke of Edinburgh. Upon tying the knot, Elizabeth took Philip's title and became Princess Elizabeth, Duchess of Edinburgh.
- They started a family pretty quickly. Elizabeth gave birth to the couple's first child, Prince Charles, on Nov. 14, 1948, almost a year to the day of their wedding. Their welcomed a daughter, Princess Anne, two years later.

- They didn't always live with their kids. Between 1949 and 1951, Philip was stationed in Malta while serving as a Royal Navy officer. He and Elizabeth lived at Villa Guardamangia, the rented home of his uncle Lord Mountbatten, for several months at a time. Their two young children, Prince Charles and Princess Anne, stayed in Britain.
- Philip was the bearer of bad news upon King George VI's death. When Elizabeth's father passed away after a long illness in 1952, she and Philip had just embarked on a royal tour of Australia and New Zealand with a stop in Kenya. They were at their Kenyan home, Sagana Lodge, when the news of George's death reached them. It was Philip who told Elizabeth that her father had died - and that she was now queen.
- Philip didn't deal well with Elizabeth's rise to power. After King George's death, Philip gave up his career as a naval officer to support his wife's new royal duties and was known to butt heads with the Buckingham Palace staff. There were arguments about whether or not Elizabeth would keep his surname after she took the throne, but both the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Elizabeth's grandmother, Queen Mary, voted in favor to keep the family name as House of Windsor (rather than House of Mountbatten). This was also likely due to the fact that in the days after George's death, Philip's uncle, Louis "Dickie" Mountbatten, was overheard triumphantly declaring that "the House of Mountbatten now reigned," which understandably angered Queen Mary.
In April 1952, the queen mother issued a declaration that Windsor would continue to be the royal name. Philip, meanwhile, was pissed: he privately complained of being "nothing but a bloody amoeba," and railed against being "the only man in the country not allowed to give his name to his own children." But after both Queen Mary's death in 1953 and Churchill's resignation in 1955, the queen mother reversed the decision, aware of both Philip's frustration and the impending birth of their second son. In 1960, she issued an Order of Council stating that Elizabeth and Philip had adopted the surname Mountbatten-Windsor for their male-line descendants, saying, "The Queen has had this in mind for a long time and it is close to her heart." Their baby boy, Prince Andrew, was born just a week later. Today, it acts as a sort of optional last name for those in the family.

Steve Wozniak's Critique of "Making America Great Again" Makes a Whole Lot of Sense
Tech-world icon Steve Wozniak is no stranger to seeing Silicon Valley go through changes big and small. It's why the Apple cofounder, who's been around the valley for 41 years, doesn't try to think too much about the current political state in America. However, Wozniak does have one key, direct message for Donald Trump: don't ruin the future and stifle technological innovations.
As the person behind Silicon Valley Comic-Con, where this year's theme was "The Future of Humanity: Where Will Humanity Be in 2075?", Wozniak himself believes our future success is dependent on technology. When it comes to Trump's popular campaign slogan, "Make America Great Again," Wozniak told POPSUGAR he hopes Trump realizes one aspect that fulfills that statement: technology. "But our technologies and everything are really what puts the United States prominent in the worldview - computers being a large part of that," Wozniak said. "So, don't spoil the future. That's going to be important, be it self-driving cars, be it energy-efficient cars, be it electric-operated cars. Don't spoil that." He also wants Trump to realize we shouldn't give up our lead in technology simply because "we're already wealthy."
"So don't spoil the future that's going to be important. . ."
The Woz also takes issue with which tech companies Trump's talking to and who's on his advisory team. He believes that only talking to existing companies will lead to those companies asking for tax breaks. Instead, Wozniak thinks Trump should listen to younger entrepreneurs and companies. "He should have advisors from college professors, and engineering, and entrepreneurs, and young people who want to start companies, not existing companies," said Wozniak.
Regardless of who Trump is talking to, Wozniak is optimistic those conversations will help him realize they're seriously invested in the future. "I hope that's the outcome of his being open to talk from companies around here," he said. "Because we've always been into 'let's change the future and improve it.'"
Stan Lee's Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Cameo Is More Important Than You Think
You can't watch a movie from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and not expect to see Stan Lee. The iconic comic-book writer, who's responsible for creating many of the Marvel heroes we hold dear, has popped up over and over again in cheeky cameos, but have his appearances been more important than a simple tip of the hat? Some fans seem to think so, and given his latest part in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, we're inclined to agree.
Spoilers for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 below!
In the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, Lee appears not once but twice. We get our first glimpse of the Marvel chairman when Yondu, Rocket, Groot, and Kraglin are hopping through realms over a planet in their spaceship, where he's regaling a group of aliens on the surface with tales of his time as a FedEx employee (a reference to his cameo in Captain America: Civil War). The second time we see him is during the fifth and final postcredits scene, which is a continuation of his first appearance. He asks the aliens to stay and listen ("I've still got more stories to tell!"), but they get bored and walk away. The aliens he's talking to aren't random - they're members of The Watchers, an ancient extraterrestrial race in charge of passively observing everything that happens in the universe. Though they're all-seeing, The Watchers are banned from ever interfering in the phenomena of the universe (they're not called The Do-ers) (sorry). In fact, their behavior is pretty similar to how Lee behaves in all of his cameos, don't you think?
It turns out that Lee is indeed a member of The Watchers, and he's been playing the same "character" in all of his cameos this whole time. In an interview with The Radio Times, Guardians director James Gunn revealed he specifically chose to include the scenes with Lee as a nod to the Watchers theory fans have been wondering about for so long. "I mean, you know there's a lot of cool stuff that the fans come up with," he said. "A lot of stuff I don't agree with, you know, people have ideas about what they think should happen in the MCU. But I find the idea that Stan Lee is a Watcher, or that he works for the Watchers, is just a fun little nod to the fans."
The head of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, further confirmed the theory. "We always thought it would be fun. Stan Lee clearly exists, you know, above and apart from the reality of all the films," he said. "So the notion that he could be sitting there on a cosmic pit stop during the jump gate sequence in Guardians was something very fun – James had that idea and we shot that cameo and loved it so much, you know, you see it a couple of times in the movie. It wasn't in for a long time and we put it back in towards the end of the process where he references that time he was a Federal Express agent – we thought it would be fun to put that in there because that really says, so wait a minute, he's this same character who's popped up in all these films."

Yes, "Stealthing" Is Sexual Assault, and We Should Be Prosecuting the Men Who Practice It
A new study from the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law explores "stealthing," when a man purposefully removes a condom during sex without consent. It's a practice that's disturbing, violating, and incredibly common. The study, written by Alexandra Brodsky, thoroughly explores the online community of men who believe that they are entitled to have condomless sex without their partner's agreement.
Stealthing is discussed online by both straight and gay men - they consider it their "right." They go as far as to say it's every man's right to "spread his seed." Many victims of this practice walk away from the experience feeling utterly violated. Rebecca, a woman interviewed in the study, had her own experience with stealthing. She also worked for a rape crisis hotline. "Their stories often start the same way," Rebecca told Brodsky. "'I'm not sure if this is rape, but . . .'"
This is a part of the problem with stealthing - women walk away from the situation unsure if they experienced sexual assault, sexual abuse, or rape. This is a part of the problem with stealthing - women walk away from the situation unsure if they experienced sexual assault, sexual abuse, or rape. "Some realized their partner had removed the condom at the moment of re-penetration; others did not realize until the partner ejaculated or, in one case, notified them the next morning," the study explains.
The practice is not addressed in the United States courts, so the lack of legal recognition results in victims feeling confused and violated. It puts people at risk for sexually transmitted diseases and pregnancies - victims feel like their trust and self-worth has been completely disrespected. "One victim turned to an online forum for people with HIV in the wake of her experience because she was so worried she may have contracted the virus from her assailant," Brodsky wrote.
This sexual and gender-based violence has entire websites dedicated to it. Men will give tips and advice on how to trick partners into condomless sex. "While one can imagine a range of motivations for 'stealthers' - increased physical pleasure, a thrill from degradation - online discussions suggest offenders and their defenders justify their actions as a natural male instinct - and natural male right," Brodsky explains. These men have no regard for the rights, health, and well-being of their sexual partners.
So how can we argue that stealthing falls under nonconsensual sex? Brodsky's first explanation is literal and straight-forward. "The victim consented to touch by a condom, not touch by the skin of a penis. The law is clear that one may consent to one form of sexual contact without providing blanket future consent to all sexual contact."
Brodsky's second argument makes perfect sense as well. She explains that when someone is consenting to sex with a condom, they are consenting to the risks and benefits that go along with that act. "Sex without a condom carries higher risks of pregnancy and STI transmission than sex with a condom," she wrote. "Because of the increased risk, the removal of the condom transforms the sexual act into a different act, such that consent to one is not carried over to consent to the other."
Providing proof is incredibly difficult and there is no law that specifically addresses this crime. The fact that we have to explain or prove these facts to anyone is ridiculous. Men are forcing their victims into a sexual act that they did not agree to. Unfortunately, stealthing is difficult to prosecute if a victim chooses to take legal action. Providing proof is incredibly difficult and there is no law that specifically addresses this crime.
Brodsky ends her study by stating that the best way to take action on stealthing would be to create a new legal statute. "One of my goals with the article, and in proposing a new statute, is to provide a vocabulary and create ways for people to talk about what is a really common experience that just is too often dismissed as just 'bad sex' instead of 'violence.'" A statute would not only give victims a clearer opportunity to press charges if they wanted to, but it would also promote a discussion about different forms of sexual assault. Victims would then have more resources for help and recovery - something that could truly make a huge difference.

Do Yourself a Favor and Watch Chris Pratt Demonstrate His Ideal "Humpin' Tempo"

Please, please take some time to watch Chris Pratt describe why the mix didn't work, because (spoiler alert) he does an absolutely hilarious demonstration of his ideal "humpin' tempo." File under: yet another reason to love him.
Every Star Who Is Set to Join Jason Momoa in Aquaman
We've got a long way to go before the stand-alone Aquaman film hits theaters - it's not due until 2018! - but that's not going to stop us from getting excited. In the past year, we've already glimpsed Jason Momoa all suited up for his turn as the aquatic demigod. Mila Kunis Gave Her Parents the Surprise of a Lifetime With a Home Makeover
Mila Kunis is a hilarious actress and a wonderful mother, and now she can add talented home renovator to her résumé! In a recent episode of My Houzz, Mila surprised her parents with an incredible home makeover. It's the condo Mila grew up in and where her parents, Mark and Elvira, have lived for 20 years, but as the Bad Moms actress said for herself, it was time to give it an upgrade.
When Mila was just 9 years old, the Kunis family moved from the Ukraine to Los Angeles, and they have lived in the same condo since, but the living, dining, and kitchen areas of the home needed work. "Knowing how hard I work now for what I have puts things into perspective for how much harder my parents had to work to have given us the life my brother and I had," she said. "So I desperately want to give them something they deserve."
She teamed up with LA-based designer Breeze Giannasio to transform the kitchen and living room into an open-space floor plan, making it ideal for family gatherings. Mila wanted to make sure whoever was in the kitchen would not feel isolated from the rest of the group hanging out in the living room. Her husband, Ashton Kutcher, actually remodeled his mom's basement in a previous My Houzz episode, but that didn't stop him from making a tear-jerking toast during the reveal of the home.
Watch the episode above and prepare to be amazed at how even at nine months pregnant, Mila was determined to give her parents the surprise of a lifetime. (And yes, that involved knocking down walls.)

Prince Philip was all smiles on Thursday when he stepped out in London after announcing his retirement. The MTV Movie Awards Hosts You Probably, Definitely Forgot About
The MTV Movie Awards will combine with TV for the first time this year, and we're excited to see how the show rolls out with host Adam Devine on May 7. The Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates and Workaholics star will join a long list of past emcees that includes Eddie Murphy, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Jessica Alba.
While some hosts have been pretty unforgettable (remember how many digs Russell Brand took at the stars in the audience?), there are others we completely forgot about. For instance, we had no idea that Will Smith hosted the show back in 1994, and we may have blocked out that time MTV paired Jimmy Fallon with Kirsten Dunst for 2001's big event. Some high-profile stars have even hosted more than once! Keep reading to see all the MTV Movie Awards hosts you may have forgotten about, then check out the most '90s-tastic moments and sexiest smooches from the show's best kiss award winners.

Prince Philip Steps Out With Queen Elizabeth II After Announcing His Retirement
Prince Philip was all smiles on Thursday when he stepped out in London after announcing his retirement. The Duke of Edinburgh had his wife, Queen Elizabeth II, by his side as he visited the Order of Merit Service at St. James's Palace. He appeared to be in good spirits as he mingled with guests. Rumors about his and the queen's health recently went into overdrive when Buckingham Palace called for an emergency meeting for all staff early Thursday morning. However, an announcement was made shortly after 10 a.m. UK time that the 95-year-old royal would be stepping down from royal duties as of this Fall. Until then, he will continue his previously scheduled engagements.
