Diddy Lays on the Met Gala Red Carpet to Get the Best View of Girlfriend Cassie

There were a lot of cute couples at the Met Gala on Monday night, but we can safely say that nobody compared to Sean "Diddy" Combs and Cassie. While the other pairs sweetly smiled and showed a little PDA while posing for photos on the red carpet, Diddy took his admiration for Cassie to a whole new level. The rapper decided to lay down on the Metropolitan Museum of Art's sprawling staircase to make way for Cassie so that he could get the best view of her turning heads. He also posted a photo of the moment on his Instagram, saying he was tired and needed to sit down for a second. This is almost better than Barack Obama's recent Instagram husband moment with Michelle . . . almost.

People Were Actually Asked These 10 VERY Weird Interview Questions

We're not sure when or why an employee would ever encounter a penguin in a freezer, but Trader Joe's apparently finds this to be a relevant issue. While we already know that employees can definitely dish it when it comes to weird sick day excuses, employers are holding their own with Glassdoor's top 10 most oddball interview questions so far this year. Read on to see what potential hires have encountered, and ponder what your answer would be if presented with some of these head scratchers.

  1. Asked at Space Exploration Technologies: "When a hot dog expands, in which direction does it split and why?"
  2. Asked at Whole Foods Market: "Would you rather fight one horse-size duck, or 100 duck-size horses?"
  3. Asked at Dropbox: "If you're the CEO, what are the first three things you check about the business when you wake up?"

This "In Memoriam" to the Men of Fox News Will Make You Laugh and Fume

Samantha Bee presented an "in memoriam" to two still-living people at last night's Not the White House Correspondents' Dinner: Fox News's departed, alleged serial sexual harassers Roger Ailes and Bill O'Reilly. In the segment, she bemoaned that both were "gone too late" from the conservative-leaning network.

Bee sarcastically credited Ailes for his two major contributions to TV news: the "gam cam" - a widely used camera angle that spotlights the legs of the female reporters and anchors on the network - and the news ticker. "Oh my god, it's so handy for keeping track of sexual harassment allegations at Fox," she quipped. The comedian went in on the network's male leadership, both past and present, in the segment, going on to refer to News Corp media titan Rupert Murdoch as a "sentient liver spot" and O'Reilly as a "Viagra aficionado" who was "400 pounds of sexual harassment allegations in a 200-pound bag."

Bee's TV special offered a pointed alternative to this year's official White House Correspondents' Dinner. Donald Trump chose not to attend this year, breaking with long-held presidential tradition. Instead, he traveled to Pennsylvania to deliver a speech celebrated by his supporters on site - and described as "divisive" and "disturbing" by former White House adviser David Gergen - at yet another post-election rally.

Who's Cuter: Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, or Gisele Bündchen and All These Puppies?

Gisele Bündchen quite honestly has it all. Not only is she one of the world's most famous supermodels and half of Hollywood's hottest couple, but she also got to spend Friday night covered in a pile of puppies. The 36-year-old, fresh off of her PDA-filled appearance at the Met Gala with husband Tom Brady, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and agreed to play a ridiculously cute game of "Pup Quiz." She ended up as the lucky winner, and got to have a major cuddle session with all of the little golden fluffs. Living the dream, right?

13 Signs Your Best Friend Is Your Ride-or-Die

Some of us have been blessed with that one standout friend who you know will still be a huge part of your life when you grow older. You two have an unbreakable bond that's withstood its fair share of hardships, and partners who've come and gone have always felt the need to compete. If you have someone in mind who fits this description exactly, know that friends like these aren't easy to come by. Never take him or her for granted, not even for one second, because not everyone has the privilege to have an incredible lifelong companion. Chances are that you probably know who this person is, but in case you need more hints, here's 13 signs he or she is your ride-or-die:

  1. They'll drop whatever they're doing to talk: Whether it's in the middle of work or in the middle of the night, if you say you need to talk, they'll pick up.
  2. You truly never feel judged: They love and accept you for exactly who you are, including all of your poor moral and outfit choices.
  3. You never have to worry about them talking sh*t about you: They're always in your defense no matter what's being said - even if it's a rumor they know is true.
  4. Your exes are their exes: If they see your assh*le ex on the street, they give their best glare as if he or she broke their heart, too.
  5. Distance makes no difference: The miles between you two never get in the way. They reach out regularly and/or things are exactly as they were when you two reunite.
  6. You can trust them with your darkest secrets: You never have to worry about any of your words resurfacing to the wrong people.
  7. They're not afraid to keep you in check: They tell it like it is because they have your best interests at heart. They'd rather make you angry than hold you from the truth.
  8. You can depend on them for anything: From saving your ass to letting you borrow money, you know they'll be there for you.
  9. They'll lie for you but never lie to you: Honesty is the foundation of your friendship and they keep it real, no exceptions.
  10. They support you endlessly: They're right there cheering for you at the sidelines with homemade T-shirts and all - no matter how big or small the goal.
  11. They see your problems as theirs: They feel your pain and genuinely want to help you figure out the best solution.
  12. They love you like family: They consider you blood even though you're not related and treat you as if you were.
  13. They're irreplaceable: You couldn't imagine anyone else in the world taking their place because nobody could possibly fill their shoes.

These 6 Places Are Where Outlander's Jamie and Claire Hang Out IRL

Ever since Outlander debuted on Starz in 2014, fans around the world have been making the pilgrimage to the Scottish Highlands to visit the real-life locations used in the TV show. Some of them are even lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time and catch an episode being filmed. (Spoiler alert: that didn't happen to me.) This past Fall, my best friend and I made our way to Scotland and took a day-long guided Outlander set tour to see six locations from the show. We saw centuries-old castles, sleepy little towns, and sweeping architecture that tells stories of age-old Scotland. Scroll through for a glimpse at the real-life scenery used in Outlander, and consider booking your own trip to the Highlands soon. You certainly won't regret it.

Guilty as Charged! 10 Bad Habits Every Parent Should Surrender

When you hear the words "bad habits," your thoughts may turn to drinking in excess, smoking cigarettes, and the like. But once kids come into the picture, every move you make is influencing their actions, including those previously innocent-enough vices. A careless profanity here and there is no big deal for your average adult, but no one wants to take responsibility for the toddler shouting obscenities on the playground! Here, 10 everyday habits for moms and dads to ditch.

Looking at Darren Criss Showering in a Speedo Should Be Your No. 1 Priority

Darren Criss did the world a lovely service on Wednesday when he stepped out in a Speedo to film scenes for the upcoming season of American Crime Story. The former Glee star showed off his body in the tiny pink number while showering on the beach in Miami. While season one of the show focused on the O.J. Simpson murder trial, season two will deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and season three (which Darren is currently filming) focuses on the 1997 death of Gianni Versace. Darren plays Andrew Cunanan, the serial killer who murdered the fashion designer on the front steps of his Miami home. While the actor is portraying a horrific character on the small screen, we can still stare at these pictures of Darren in a tiny Speedo for as long as we want (which is a very long time).

5 Condiments You Should Refrigerate - and 3 You Shouldn't

Fact: not all condiments belong in the fridge. To make sure you're getting the longest shelf life (and the most flavor) out of common condiments like ketchup, maple syrup, and hot sauce, be sure to refer to this list of products you should - and shouldn't - store in a cold fridge. Some of them might surprise you and remind you to check yours to see if they're in the right place!

Do Refrigerate

  • Maple syrup. Maple syrup belongs in the refrigerator because mold can grow inside the bottle if it's left out.
  • Mayonnaise. This one is a no-brainer! Mayo is made with eggs and needs to be kept in the refrigerator once opened.
  • Nut-based oils. Oils like sesame or peanut that aren't refined and are made with nuts should be refrigerated to keep from going rancid. Pro tip: nuts should also be refrigerated to maintain their best flavor.
  • Ketchup. Refrigerating ketchup is up for debate depending on what kind you have and how quickly you plan to use it. Open ketchup can be stored in the pantry for up to one month, but if you won't use it by then, keep it in the fridge.
  • Mustard . . . sometimes. Dijon and horseradish-based mustards should be refrigerated, but others are OK to leave out if you prefer them at room temperature. Refrigerating yellow mustard will help maintain its flavor, but it doesn't contain any ingredients that spoil.

Don't Refrigerate

  • Soy sauce. Ever notice that soy sauce stays out on the tables at restaurants? That's because it's fermented and doesn't need to be refrigerated.
  • Hot sauce. Vinegar-based hot sauces have a shelf life of about three years and don't need to be chilled to stay fresh.
  • Honey. Honey will crystallize and become impossible to use if it's hardened in the fridge. Keep it stored away from direct sunlight.

Neon Lips Are Here to Make You Look Like an Intergalactic Space Diva

The latest out-of-this-world makeup trend that's about to take over Instagram? Neon lip art! We've already seen (and swooned over) the edgy 3D effects of neon eyeliner, but now the blinding, '80s-esque trend is making its way to our pouts. We hate to indulge the overused term, but it's pretty darn lit, if we do say so ourselves.

We first came across the neon lip look via talented makeup artist Genevieve Jauquet, who regularly stuns us with her impressively artistic beauty skills. To achieve the one-of-a-kind pout above, Genevieve dabbed on a black lip cream in the center of her lips, followed by a matte pink one to fill in the outer edges. Then, to get that glowing effect, she followed up by using a thin brush to swipe on white lip cream near (but not touching) the edges of her top and bottom lips. Her personal finishing touch? Glitter! The results are a lightsaber-like look that both Jedis and space divas would approve of.

Ahead, see how Genevieve and other committed beauty mavens put their lips in the spotlight with this luminous, hypnotizing trend.

We Kinda Get Why Everyone Is Shipping Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford

After 13 Reasons Why premiered on Netflix in March, the world was introduced to their new favorite couple: Hannah Baker and Clay Jensen. While the two, played by Katherine Langford and Dylan Minnette, don't end up together on the show because Hannah tragically takes her own life, their characters still shared an incredibly sweet bond. It's also later, after Hannah is already dead, that Clay confesses his deep love for her. Viewers are then shown a heartbreaking montage of what their lives could have been like had Hannah not killed herself and they were able to be together.

Fans of the show really want them to date in real life, but Dylan is happily taken by his girlfriend of a few years, Ray Donovan actress Kerris Dorsey. And despite things not working out the way we'd hoped on screen, Dylan and Katherine are actually really great friends. Whether they're promoting their show (that will most likely get a second season) together or just hanging out on a random weekend, they're still all kinds of (platonic) cute.

Watching Michael Fassbender Attempt to Breakdance Might Give You a Panic Attack

It's par for the course for celebrities to bust out hidden talents or play wacky games on late night shows, but few have ever made me gasp the way Michael Fassbender's recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show did. Egged on by the host and fellow guest Jessica Chastain, the 40-year-old Alien: Covenant actor agreed to show off his breakdancing skills, and honestly it was pretty stressful. As the crowd and the other guests (Jessica, Diane Keaton, and Kevin Bacon) looked on, Michael flips over backwards, and basically dives headfirst into the floor like so:

For a split second I thought I was about to watch Michael Fassbender's neck snap before my very eyes, a fear Diane Keaton clearly shared.

Are you impressed? Are you hyperventilating? Are you wishing he did it shirtless? In your bedroom? OK, OK, I'm done. Be careful, Michael.

55+ Memes You'll Only Relate to If You're Latinx

Those humorous moments (i.e., the fact that Vicks VapoRub reigns supreme in most households) are the ones you want to spread like wildfire while you giggle, even tapping the people next to you IRL and showing them your phone for a good laugh. The Biggest Designer Shoes of 2017

Whether you're in the market for a new pair of shoes or you're just curious about the latest and greatest, we're here to let you know which designers are making it big. When it comes to footwear, Google can provide lots of intel, and it turns out people are searching specifics (though of course, there's the occasional "shoes with the red sole" query that always makes us giggle). More often than not, shoe connoisseurs know a red sole signifies Christian Louboutin, and in fact, the brand is already the second-most-searched-for in 2017.

But if that doesn't surprise you, maybe this will: sneaker companies like Common Projects are gaining tons of traction, so you can finally replace your Adidas Stan Smiths, if you're so inclined. And if you're ready for a new Summer shoe, try Kenzo or Givenchy, which offer must-have espadrilles and slides respectively. Scroll for a detailed lineup of the eight labels on everybody's radar and find the accompanying style we predict will make it big.

The Office's Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson Reunite For Lunch, Unfortunately Not at Chili's

The Office might have ended in 2013, but the tight-knit cast is just as close as ever - just ask Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson! The pair, who played Pam Beesly and Dwight Schrute on the long-running comedy, linked up for a cute lunch date on Thursday (no word on whether or not they went to Chili's, but fingers crossed). Jenna graciously shared a selfie from their outing on Twitter, using one of Pam's quotes as the caption:

Just last year, Jenna went to see her other costar from The Office John Krasinski do his thing in his play Dry Powder and also got a sweet shout-out from Angela Kinsey (aka Angela Martin), who called Jenna her "anchor through life." Although we still miss watching Pam, Jim, Dwight, Michael, and the rest of the Dunder Mifflin gang each week, at least we have their frequent reunions to fill our hearts with joy.

If You Just Want to Spoil Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 For Yourself, Read This

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is loaded with a ton of stuff that you loved about the first film (laughing Drax, dancing Baby Groot, etc.), but there's a whole new plot to unfold. The spoiler-free synopsis is that Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is trying to uncover his true identity. When his father (Kurt Russell) unexpectedly comes flying into his life, he reluctantly seizes the opportunity to get to the bottom of his heritage. This just isn't a movie about a beautiful family reunion, so Peter and co. face some challenges along the way. If you're wondering exactly what goes down, read on.

Ego (Russell) tracks down Peter and his crew, telling them that he is overjoyed to have finally found his son. Peter is initially skeptical about Ego's intentions, but, at Gamora's (Zoe Saldana) urging, he agrees to go to Ego's home planet. Peter, Gamora, and Drax take off with Ego and his alien associate, Mantis (Pom Klementieff), and land on the most beautiful, lush planet you've ever seen. It turns out that Ego isn't a person at all - he is a planet. He has the power to create whatever he desires and appear in whatever form he dreams up. He explains to Peter than he's been searching everywhere for him, but something doesn't add up; Ego can't give a straight answer about why he never returned to Earth to visit Peter and his mother.

Meanwhile, Rocket and Baby Groot are captured by Yondu's (Michael Rooker) crew. Yondu had been commissioned by an alien race to take out Peter and his pals, but when Yondu refuses to hurt Peter, his crew (headed by Taserface, LOL) turns on him. They imprison Yondu, Rocket, and Baby Groot aboard their ship. Anarchy reigns, until Kraglin (Sean Gunn) double-crosses Taserface and the good guys are able to destroy Yondu's old crew and depart from the fiery spacecraft in a smaller ship.

Back on Ego's planet, the real story is slowly revealed. Ego doesn't just want to be a father to Peter - he wants to use Peter's inherited powers to help him take over the universe. Ego has been slowly attempting to conquer millions of planets by burying tiny versions of himself into the ground on each planet. Once he gets enough energy (which he can only do with an heir), he can fuel the plants to grow and rapidly turn each planet into his own ecosystem. Because he is the planet, he will technically be everywhere. Does that make sense? It's confusing.

The worst part is that Peter isn't Ego's only son, not by a long shot. Gamora and Nebula (Karen Gillan) discover an entire cave full of bones, the bones of Ego's slain children. He's impregnated species all over the universe, and he had been employing Yondu to collect his kids and bring them back to his planet in hopes that they'll have inherited his power. They all failed him, so he just murdered them and kept looking. When Yondu realized that Ego was killing the kids, he stopped working for him and raised Peter as his own.

Poor Peter had finally allowed himself to feel happy about his biological planet of a father, and Ego is just one big fraud. Baby Groot, Rocket, and Yondu find Peter and his crew in the nick of time, and they're able to save the day. There's some mild interference from the secondary villains (a race of genetically perfect aliens), but Peter destroys Ego. Yondu dies saving Peter, and he gets the Ravager funeral he's always desired. In the end, Peter loses two fathers. Are you crying?

That's the meat of it - unless, of course, you want to know about the five end-credits scenes!

23 of Once Upon a Time's Most Memorable Kisses

Once Upon a Time is known for having some pretty epic love stories. While Snow White and Prince Charming will always be a classic fairy-tale couple, we are equally obsessed with the show's more nontraditional romances like the Evil Queen and Robin Hood. As the fan-favorite pair Captain Hook and Emma prepare to make their way down the aisle this Sunday, we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than by reminiscing on the most memorable kisses over the past six seasons. Because as we all know, true love's kiss is the most powerful magic of all.

Kendall Jenner's Vogue India Cover Is Facing Major Backlash

To celebrate Vogue India's 10th anniversary, editor Priya Tanna enlisted two very iconic fashion forces to come together for a shoot. Mario Testino brought Kendall Jenner to Samode Palace near Jaipur, India, which is even more beautiful than you might imagine. Bright, beautiful architecture is the backdrop to a series where Kendall wears monochrome outfits in breezy silhouettes, all of which are not just Pinterest-worthy but also spot-on trend inspiration for the season. Mario is even offering the most gorgeous pic of the bunch up for sale on his site, Mira Mira, in support of the charity Girl Rising India.

Still, since the issue's release, Kendall and Vogue India have been facing major backlash from readers as they were shocked that the magazine hadn't chosen an Indian model for such an important cover. This reminds us of a similar situation Kendall's pal Gigi Hadid faced for her Vogue Arabia cover. Ahead, have a look at the cover and editorial that's now at the center of some drama.

Time to dig up last year's holiday wrapping paper and tinsel to try out Instagram's new fad: holographic eyeliner. The style is starting to pop up on Instagram as the latest iteration of the unicorn/galaxy trend.

Women trying these looks out are stating their inspiration as Pat McGrath and Vlada Haggerty. And according to them, it's pretty easy to DIY! Just create your normal eye makeup look - bold brows, lush lashes, etc. Cut a tight-lined or superwinged eyeliner piece out of your most festive piece of holographic paper. Eyelash glue is how you can adhere it to your skin. We even saw someone try a "shattered glass" look, inspired by this K-Beauty trend.

This Student's Essay on 12 Years a Slave Is Both Candid and Heartwrenching

Although it's probably not the best idea to cram on a college paper, one college student is going viral because of it. On April 18, Twitter user Stephy (@stephypie15) tweeted a photo of her college essay, writing "Possibly the best sentence I've ever written." In the sentence, Stephy calls out Edwin Epps, a plantation owner who viciously mistreated slaves in Solomon Northup's memoir, 12 Years a Slave.

"Yes, Edwin Epps is getting his own paragraph because that's how much of a piece of sh*t he was," she wrote. Her brother, Eric, followed up with a photo of his sister's graded paper, and let's just say it her professor sounds like the coolest professor, ever. Instead of getting upset over Stephy's use of profanity, the professor simply wrote "LOL true" next to her candid sentence.

"I won't knock you for language here [because] the Epps warrant it, but just as general advice you should try to avoid it in academic papers for other professors," the professor added as a side note on the page. After calling Epps and his wife "sh*t human beings" and "scum of the Earth," her professor simply responded with "Fair enough."

Twitter users could not handle how chill Stephy's professor was about it all. According to Eric, Stephy received a 95 on her last minute paper and Stephy went on to call her professor "the best." Keep reading see some of the best reactions to the epic essay ahead.

9 Ways to Incorporate Weed Into Your Wedding

You may think of weed and weddings as an unlikely pair, but it turns out they're kind of the perfect matrimony. I attended the San Francisco Cannabis Wedding Expo, because of course that's a thing, and learned about a number of ways couples can incorporate pot into their nuptials. Most people might picture stereotypical hippies gathering around a drum circle and passing joints, but 4/20-friendly weddings go beyond that perception. "Weed-ings" can in fact be executed just as elegantly and as upscale as what many would consider more traditional weddings. As recreational use continues to legalize across the country, it seems like more couples are becoming open to the idea.

The Expo featured over 50 vendors, from beauty services to cannabis chefs, all knowledgeable in the topic of safe incorporation and consumption. I was slightly disappointed to realize that all samples were not marijuana-infused, but I should've known as the only restriction to attend was age (21+). The selling and distributing of weed was strictly prohibited and all goods were "virgin" - even the nugs displayed in jars were fake. Again, disappointing but understandable. But instead of a high, what I took away from the event were ideas on how incredibly versatile cannabis can be in terms of weddings.

Check out nine ways you can say "I do" with weed.

"It's Not Too Late For Us": Hillary Clinton on Fighting For Women's Rights

Hillary Clinton is back - and she's reminding women to continue advocating for their rights and to never give up. The former presidential candidate spoke at a gala honoring Planned Parenthood's 100th anniversary and touched upon reproductive rights, walking in the woods, and The Handmaid's Tale.

The gala, which took place on May 2 in New York City, was Clinton's second appearance of the day after first speaking at Women For Women International event. This time, she spoke less about the election and Donald Trump's tweeting habits and more about the progress that's been made in women's reproductive rights. Clinton even alluded to the popular book and TV show The Handmaid's Tale to make a point of how that fictitious reality might not be too far off.

"Now I am not suggesting this dystopian future is around the corner, but this show has prompted important conversations about women's rights and autonomy," she said. "In The Handmaid's Tale, women's rights are gradually, slowly stripped away. As one character says, 'We didn't look up from our phones until it was too late.' It is not too late for us. But we have to encourage the millions of women and men who support Planned Parenthood's mission to keep fighting."

"It's far healthier than screaming into your television set. Resist, insist, persist, enlist."

Clinton, who was there to receive Planned Parenthood's Champion of the Century award, also told the audience her new mantra - and suggested they follow it. "Some of you have heard me say that I have this new mantra that had popped into my head during one of my long walks in the woods," she said. "I highly recommend long walks in the woods. It's far healthier than screaming in your television set. And so, just remember forwards: resist, insist, persist, enlist." You can watch a clip of the two moments ahead.

Meghan Markle Reveals Her 3 Biggest Style Crushes to the World

Every fashion girl has a style crush, and Meghan Markle's no exception. The actress is a master of polished looks and we trust she knows a good outfit when she sees it. So when Good Housekeeping asked her to name several style icons she loves, Meghan was armed with names.

"I always say Gwyneth Paltrow, but it's changing. As I'm taking more risks personally, I am responding to other people who take a little bit more fashion risks," she said. "I love how Miranda Kerr dresses - a bit more playful. And my friend Olivia Palermo - I mean, she's everyone's style crush."

We definitely agree with Meghan on all accounts, especially the latter, as Olivia's taught us plenty of style lessons over the years. But the connection between all four women is obvious: they're all sophisticated and iconic. So, it makes sense they've dressed in similar outfits before. Scroll to see the comparisons, and keep an eye on Meghan. As she gets more involved in royal affairs (she's dating Prince Harry, in case you haven't heard), we expect to see her wardrobe become increasingly refined.

How to Build a Home That Boosts Self-Esteem

They say charity begins at home, but so do a slew of other qualities: compassion, chivalry, and, most importantly, confidence. Between bullies and the overly critical media, kids seem to have lower self-esteem than ever before. And while we can't control what happens in school or what's written in magazines (though we wish we could), we do have control over one aspect of our children's lives: their home. By making a few changes, you can create a safe space that boosts your children's self-esteem and (hopefully) teaches them to help others who may be a bit down on themselves.

Queen Elizabeth II Has Prince William by Her Side Following Prince Philip Announcement

When the British royal staff was called to an emergency meeting concerning Prince Philip early on Thursday morning at Buckingham Palace, some feared the worst for the 95-year-old, but thankfully it was only to announce his decision to step down from public duties. The next day, Queen Elizabeth II hosted a private lunch without her husband but luckily had the support of her grandson Prince William. Together they greeted Burma's de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi at Buckingham Palace, chatting and happily posing for photos together.

William, who recently celebrated daughter Princess Charlotte's second birthday, has been taking on more royal duties over the last few months from Her Majesty, who is taking a step back. William and brother Prince Harry have gone on royal tours to places like Canada and some of the Caribbean islands in place of Queen Elizabeth II, and in 2013, William performed his first investiture. Although Prince Philip won't be as much of a presence at royal events in the coming months, it's clear that William and Harry are more than ready to step in.

H&M's Best-Kept Shopping Secrets, From a Former Employee

H&M is a beast of a store, and more often than not, it's too overwhelming to even fathom covering all your bases. Seriously, every nook and cranny has some type of product merchandised into it. But with the right strategy, you could come out of H&M looking and feeling like a true fashion girl having checked off every single item on your list.

I worked at H&M for four years, and I kid you not, almost every outfit I own was plucked from the shelves there (all the way down to my underwear and hair ties). So you can trust me when I say I know my way around the merchandise. Here's what you should know, too:

1. You Can Get a Discount Every Time You Shop and Save the Planet While You're At It

H&M is collecting old and used garments as an indefinite initiative to close the gap on waste. Bring up to two bags (four to five items) of unwanted textiles - think clothes, placemats, pillow cases - and receive up to two coupons for 15 percent off your next purchase. These textiles are then broken down into fibers and given a new life in the form of H&M's Conscious collection. The surplus is donated to the H&M Foundation and split between social and recycling projects.

2. Sizing Is Weird, Your Body Is Not!

Everything at H&M runs small. When suggesting size options, I would tell customers to choose the two sizes above their normal to try on. Just remember it's not you, it's the inseam! I am normally a size 8, but at H&M, I always wear a size 10 or 12.

3. Shop by Concept

Sometimes with all that merch it's hard to tell where you're going or what you're doing. All of a sudden, furry cropped sweaters, one business-casual blazer, and a leather mini skirt are spilling out of your arms, when all you wanted was a nice pair of cropped denim pants.

H&M is broken down into distinct concepts. These are the ones to note:

  • Everyday: For the everyday woman, these pieces are positioned front and center upon entering the store. The everyday woman is strong, independent, and always on trend. Here you will find the items fast-fashion retailers are known for. Tag: an off-white, eggshell H&M.
  • Trend: For the trendier fashion gal who likes to take risks. Often within or very near the everyday section. These items are at a higher price point but definitely feel more one-of-a-kind. Fewer trend pieces come in regularly, so when you want it, you should grab it. Tag: cream (select stores only).
  • By Night: Whether she's elegant or fun, she's ready for a night out. Sectioned within or next to the trend section, these pieces range from fancy jumpsuits to shimmering mini skirts. Tag: gold or black sheer H&M (select stores only).
  • Modern Classic: For the classic boss-lady. Your go-to for classic interview attire, modern classic adds fun pieces for an updated work wardrobe. This section also includes the premium collection. These items are made of premium cotton and silk and have an overall higher quality. Tag: silver H&M.
  • Divided: For the young, fun, and carefree. Divided is often considered a sort of "juniors" line, only because their sizes run even smaller than everyday pieces. Divided is full of bright colors, crazy patterns, and trendy pieces. These items fall in a lower price point but are not made as well. Tag: black, labeled Divided.
  • Divided Grey: A one-off of Divided, this girl is edgy and cool. Think ripped pants, lots of leather, and band tees. Found within the Divided section. Tag: gray, labeled Divided (select stores only).
  • L.O.G.G: Standing for Level of Graded Goods, LOGG covers the laid-back, comfort-seeking babe. These items are soft and easy, often associated with the beach or outdoors activities. Tag: fabric tag, labeled LOGG.

4. Online Shopping Is All About the Filters

You can find a volume of funky, elevated, and on-trend items by filtering your search to "Trend." These items are often on sale and not always featured in store. Another thing to mention about new items found online: they are found in store two to three weeks after being featured on the website. If it's a more one-of-a-kind piece, maybe even longer or not at all.

5. Arrive at 9, Leave Before Noon

This is when the store is the cleanest. Staff has finished cleaning any leftover messes from the night before and all go-backs should be in their rightful places. Racks are clean and shoppable. The stock team is also replenishing low products and placing new items. You will always have the most updated and shoppable floor in the a.m. There is never a line for the fitting room. With less of a mess to clean and keep control of, the staff has more time to assist you and your needs!

6. Stock Up on Basics

H&M is like the Mecca of basics. But because of this, the good stuff sells out fast. Shop basics a month ahead of the new season. Need a turtleneck for Fall? Start checking around August. Want a sheer and lightweight Spring sweater? Begin shopping in February. New and fresh basic pieces are often made better, but the store receives less and doesn't always replenish. (I lost my favorite black turtleneck and the store has never seen it again. RIP.)

7. Know the Sales

Markdowns happen every few weeks, which usually include a few trend-section pieces and items not selling down as fast. Big sale pushes happen at the end of every season, so much like basics, shop a few weeks ahead of the seasonal turnover. Items that have been around the longest, usually toward the back of each concept's section, are more likely to be marked down first. Markdowns happen almost weekly during the time of the sale, so continue to check back. Ask sales advisers where older season items are - you are more likely to find one-off sale items in these sections. Trend and premium pieces are almost always marked as 50 percent off. (Bring in your recycled clothes for the additional discount and receive a whopping total of 65 percent off.)

Last Minute Quickies to Note:

  • Backstock: Everything is on the floor, with the exception of maybe a few chunky boots that don't fit on the shoe shelf. If it's not there, check online or the next closest H&M. The stockroom will not have the beaded trend tunic you've been eyeing for the past month. I promise.
  • Cross-Concept Shopping: There are often different versions of every item, it's just residing in a different concept. If a specific bomber jacket doesn't come in your size, I can guarantee there is another version of it somewhere in the store. Always sift through Divided for trendy pieces the everyday section doesn't seem to have.
  • Shoes: Everyday shoes are the most comfortable and last a decent amount of time (usually always falling at the $35 price point).
  • Accessories: The amount of accessories that comes through each H&M could fill its own three-story pop-up shop. If you are a big accessory person, take your time in this section. It's easy to miss the perfect pair of earrings, but they're there. I promise you. This section can become the most cluttered, so check past the first few items on every rack.

15 Times Barack Obama Reminded Us That He and Michelle Are a Walking Fairy Tale

Image Source: Getty / Taylor Hill

The grass is green, the sky is blue, and Barack Obama is one of the best damn public speakers who's ever walked the earth. Even if you don't agree with his policies, you can't deny his mastery of the English language. During his presidency this skill served him well for obvious reasons, but never have the words come as easily to him than when he's talking about his wife, fearless former First Lady and all-around badass Michelle Obama. The power couple began dating back in 1989, and it's obvious that Barack has been smitten ever since. If you need a quick reminder that yes, love still does exist, take a look through his best, most romantic quotes about Michelle.

  1. On her legacy as first lady: "Michelle LaVaughn Robinson, girl of the South Side. For the past 25 years you have not only been my wife and mother of my children, you have been my best friend. You took on a role you didn't ask for, and you made it your own, with grace and with grit and with style and good humor. You made the White House a place that belongs to everybody. And a new generation sets its sights higher because it has you as a role model. So, you have made me proud and you have made the country proud."
  2. On their first kiss: "We were at a law firm together, I was a Summer associate, she was already practicing law. I had been sort of eyeing her for a while, but she was acting real professional. Finally I wear her down a little bit and I say, we're coming back from a firm picnic and I said, 'Well let's go get some ice cream.' We went to Baskin-Robbins on 53rd Street in Chicago, she bought chocolate, I don't remember what I bought. They didn't have any seats in the store so we sat out on a curb on a Summer day and had ice cream, and that's when I asked her if I could kiss her."
  3. On how she's true to herself: "As usual, people always realize how much better Michelle is than me . . . she's a wonderful person and she's a genuine person. I never see her in different settings and somehow she's different with different people."
  4. On her magnetic personality: "If you were going to list the 100 most popular things that I have done as president, being married to Michelle Obama is number one."
  5. On how she's helped him every step of the way: "Obviously I couldn't have done anything that I've done without Michelle. You were asking earlier what keeps me sane, what keeps me balanced, what allows me to deal with the pressure. It is this young lady right here . . . Not only has she been a great first lady, she is just my rock. I count on her in so many ways every single day."
  6. On how she's changed the way he looks at the world: "Michelle was trying to figure out, OK, if the kids get sick why is it that she's the one who has to take time off of her job to go pick them up from school, as opposed to me? What I tried to do was to learn to be thoughtful enough and introspective enough that I wasn't always having to be told that things were unfair."
  7. On her making him a better man: "There's no doubt I'm a better man having spent time with Michelle. I would never say that Michelle's a better woman, but I will say she's a little more patient."
  8. One one of her best traits: "She's also funny. She's the funniest person in our family."

  1. On how she's like Queen Bey: "Michelle's like Beyoncé in that song, 'Let me upgrade ya!' She upgraded me."
  2. On her patriotism: "Anybody who knows her well knows she's got the best sense of humor of anyone you'd ever want to meet. She's the most quintessentially American person I know . . . She's just a wonderfully normal, levelheaded person. Any American woman who meets her would immediately identify her as a fellow traveler."
  3. On her 2016 Democratic National Convention speech: "Incredible speech by an incredible woman. Couldn't be more proud & our country has been blessed to have her as FLOTUS. I love you, Michelle."
  4. On how she keeps him grounded: "What I value most about my marriage is that it is separate and apart from a lot of the silliness of Washington. And Michelle is not part of that silliness."
  5. On why they're such a good team: "She is a great mom. What is also true is Michelle's had to accommodate a life that it's fair to say was not necessarily what she envisioned for herself. She has to put up with me. And my schedule and my stresses. And she's done a great job on that. But I think it would be a mistake to think that my wife, when I walk in the door, is, 'Hey, honey, how was your day? Let me give you a neck rub.' It's not as if Michelle is thinking in terms of, 'How do I cater to my husband?' I think it's much more, 'We're a team, and how do I make sure that this guy is together enough that he's paying attention to his girls and not forgetting the basketball game that he's supposed to be going to on Sunday?' So she's basically managing me quite effectively."
  6. On their unbreakable connection: "Sometimes, when we're lying together, I look at her and I feel dizzy with the realization that here is another distinct person from me, who has memories, origins, thoughts, feelings that are different from my own. That tension between familiarity and mystery meshes something strong between us. Even if one builds a life together based on trust, attentiveness, and mutual support, I think that's it's important that a partner continues to surprise."
  7. On why she's so relatable: "Having said all those things, the quality I love most about her is, she's honest and genuine. I think that comes across to people. They get a sense that they can trust her. You know, the word 'authenticity' is overused these days. But I do think it captures what folks are looking for - not just in leaders, but also in friends and in co-workers - and that is, folks who are on the level. People like that tell you what they think and don't have a bunch of hidden motives. That's who Michelle is."

All Hail Elizabeth Debicki's High Priestess Ayesha in Guardians of the Galaxy 2

When Ayesha, high priestess of the Sovereign, first pops up on screen in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it's electric. Sitting in all of her gilded glory, the leader of the xenophobic, gold-skinned race of aliens - who are quite literally pod people - stares down at Peter Quill, Rocket, Drax, and Gamora from her throne with a mix of detached interest and chilling scorn; she's like a scientist preparing to slice open her next specimen. Although the true villain of the story emerges later on, it's the scenes with Ayesha that cement the towering golden goddess as the film's campier, more entertaining foil for Star Lord and company. So who do we have to thank for this metallic HBIC? Twenty-six-year-old Australian actress Elizabeth Debicki.

She joins Sylvester Stallone and Pom Klementieff as one of the cosmic sequel's best new additions, but it's hardly her first role. Debicki got her start in 2011's A Few Best Men with Rebel Wilson, but it was her big break as Jordan Baker in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby in 2013 that really set her career in motion.

Since then, she's gone on to star in films like The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Everest, as well as nabbing the part of Jed Marshall in The Night Manager. Unlike Lee Pace's Ronan in the first Guardians - pause for spoiler warning - Ayesha makes it to the end of the film in perfect, albeit annoyed, condition, and the postcredits scene she appears in all but confirms the important part she'll play in future Marvel properties.
