If you're in the mood to make some political commentary with any shrubs around your house, you can now follow one person's lead and try it with a cutout of Sean Spicer's face. Meet "Garden Spicer," cutouts of Sean Spicer's face ready to be placed in among any bush or shrub near you.
Lisa Kadonaga made cutouts of Spicer's face to put in any bushes and wrote about it in a Facebook post. In the post, which has more than 15,000 reactions, 35,000 shares, and 2,000 comments, she writes "Presenting the "Garden Spicer". . . . Now you too can have the White House press secretary in - or rather, "among" - the bushes in your yard." You can read the full post ahead.

The story about Spicer hiding in some bushes near the White House begins on May 9. Spicer tried to dodge questions about President Trump's firing of former FBI director, James Comey, by going towards some bushes. The story, which was almost too ridiculous to believe, was further corrected by The Washington Post on May 10 to say Spicer wasn't hiding in the bushes but among them.
The internet quickly poked fun at the entire situation and Spicer's behavior, which makes it no surprise that someone created the "Garden Spicer." Kadonaga warns that the "image will run" if it's placed outside, but it's "exactly what Sean Spicer does, so it's totally authentic!" She also writes that she "can easily make more," so if you really want one for your own home, it might actually be possible.

It's not surprising that Democrats are crossing their fingers that Senator Elizabeth Warren decides to run in 2020. She's been a warrior in the Senate, leading the effort to regulate Wall Street, reduce student debt, and tackle campaign finance reform. Warren has also been a vocal opponent of President Trump's administration - even as he relentlessly launches racial insults at her. While speculation continues to arise about a potential bid, Warren herself has indicated she will not run . . . at least for now.
On more than one occasion, Warren's been pressed by journalists about her intention to run for president (despite the fact that she announced her Senate re-election campaign in January 2017). While promoting her recently released book, This Fight Is Our Fight: The Battle to Save Working People, during an appearance on MSBNC on April 18, Warren firmly indicated she has no plans to launch a presidential bid.
Rachel Maddow got right to the point during Warren's appearance on her show: "If you were running for president in 2020 you would not want to talk about it now, with me or anybody else, is that true?"
"That is true," Warren responded. "But let me be clear, I am not running for president in 2020."
During another interview with NBC's Today Show on April 18, Warren reiterated her position when asked by host Savannah Guthrie if she was "likely to run."
"No. This is not what I'm doing," Warren told Guthrie. "This is my 11th book. My life's work is about what's happening to working families across this country. I am running in 2018, for senator from Massachusetts."
So by her own admission, Warren has no plans to run for president. But, it's also worth noting that the next presidential election is four years away and her position could obviously change. Presidential hopefuls are known to be coy about their intentions to run.

What do runway models, Kylie Jenner, Rihanna, and beauty aficionados have in common? They all have tested 2017's hottest lip trend: metallic lipstick. And they're not the only ones. It seems you can't scroll through an Instagram feed or walk down a busy city street without spotting the high-wattage shine of a lustrous lip. And according to Nick Lujan, Make Up For Ever's pro and media educator, it's completely logical that metallic lipstick is having a moment.
"Social media has shaped the way enthusiasts and artists learn about trends," he explained to POPSUGAR via email. He added that "lips are always trending," and unusual textures and finishes have also become more prevalent on Fashion Week runways (for example, the above image from Prada's Spring 2016 show). "The world is more open than ever to trying new colors and textures," said Lujan.
While applying a metallic lip is actually quite simple, wearing (and rocking!) one can be a little more challenging. Luckily, you can relax if you survived the frosted lip apocalypse of the '80s and '90s. Today's iteration of the style doesn't appear nearly as dated. This is because many of the current metallic formulas leave room for the lip color underneath to breathe.
Lujan recommends applying a lipstick in your favorite color first - "Balancing the metallic with a matte lipstick works best" - then using your finger to tap a metallic pigment on top, focusing the shimmer in the center of the lip. "The technique is similar to the nail trend of chroming or mirroring," he explained. "This will create dimension by allowing the lipstick to peek through." He recommends using Make Up For Ever Star Lit Powder ($21 each) in #2 Frozen Gold or #5 Frozen Purple to start, as they are translucent (perfect for dipping a toe into the trend!) and look gorgeous atop any lipstick shade.
Play with varying colors and textures with metallic accents to tie the overall look together.
If you're still wary of metallic lips, try a neutral or nude color to start as they are easier to wear, and keep the rest of your look minimal. "You don't want to have your lips, eyes, and cheeks in competition for attention on the face," Lujan warned. Lots of mascara, subtle sculpting, and neutral blush should be enough to ground a gleaming grin.
Should you be ready to fully commit to a chromed-out pout, go for it! Play with varying colors and textures with metallic accents to tie the overall look together. For example, if you're using metallic pigments, dust the same shades on lids and cheeks or collarbones for a body bling.
The best part, though? This technique tends to be long-wear! "Applying a top coat of ultrafine metallic-finish pigment will not only create an interesting finish, it will also lock the lipstick in place," Lujan shared. While we wouldn't recommend a hot and heavy metallic makeout session, it's a relief to know that a sip of water or a snack won't result in a sparkling disaster.

Hugh, it's so hard to believe that you've been gone for 13 years, but the stories I hear from your 10 children (seriously, 10) make me feel like I know you, and that's something I will always be grateful for. But Celene, you were in my life for five and a half wonderful years. In that time - those late nights watching murder mystery shows, the endless cups of tea, the Sunday dinners - you became like a second mom to me. While many people in my life constantly complained about their significant other's parents, I was so grateful to just have one of them . . . and to love you as much as I did, and still do.
I promise to never, ever let you leave us, despite the fact that you're not here.
I know that you both know your son very well (you're his parents, after all), and that you continue to watch over him together. You were there for every scraped knee, missed homework assignment, and movie night. You proudly sat at his graduations, dressed him up in funny outfits for picture day, and, from what I hear, always let him curse the way he does now (I love it, to be honest). But every time I think about the future - our upcoming wedding day, having our first child, needing help when buying him a birthday gift - the hole in my heart seems to get just a little bit bigger. His past is wrapped up entirely in you, and it breaks my heart that we have to build a future together without you there.
When you get married, the deal is that you inherit the other person's family whether you like them or not. And it's almost a fashionable thing to complain about your in-laws (they're around too much, my mother-in-law is so invasive, can they knock?!), but having you two as my second set of parents would have brought nothing but more love and joy to my life. And you know why I'm so sure? Because of your son. You raised such an incredible man. The kind of man that still called you "darling" and "love" whenever he called home, Celene. The kind of man that fiercely respects women because of you, Hugh. The kind of man that has made our life together so wonderful because of the example you two set for him - his parents that used to fall asleep holding hands every night.
And I wish you were here so that I could tell you all of this in person, dance with you at our wedding, and call you for advice once we start a family (seriously, 10 kids? How. Did. You. Do. That.), but the fact that you're not hits me on a daily basis. You're Mom and Dad No. 2 for me, and I want you know that I promise to never, ever let you leave us, despite the fact that you're not here. Once Upon a Time will be losing quite a few core characters when it returns for its newly announced seventh season. Following the heartbreaking announcement of Jennifer Morrison's exit as Emma Swan, ABC has confirmed that Rebecca Mader (Zelena), Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White), Josh Dallas (Prince Charming), Jared Gilmore (Henry), and Emilie de Ravin (Belle) will not be returning after season six. Lana Parrilla (Regina), Robert Carlyle (Rumple), and Colin O'Donoghue (Captain Hook) are all confirmed to return. Emilie took the character of Belle to a deep and soulful place, bringing great intelligence and warmth to the character, making her fiercely independent, strong willed but also an eternal optimist who saw only the best in all those she encountered.
Rebecca took us on a broomstick roller coaster ride as she reinvented the Wicked Witch of the West by finding the pain beneath the green. She made the character soar to incredible heights while always keeping her grounded and relatable.
Jared literally grew up before the eyes of millions, from a child actor with enormous innate talent to a young man whose abilities continue to astound as he created a character who truly, as we say on the show, has the heart of the truest believer.
There are set endpoints to different stories, but that doesn't mean there aren't new stories for different characters. I think that by the end of the season finale, a lot of what we've been doing for the last six years is wrapped up - we hope in a very satisfying way - and then we move forward in a way that at the end of it, hopefully you'll see what we're hoping to do in season seven."

West playing an adult Henry. There might even been a change of scenery as well, by taking the trio back to the Wish Realm. But expressions of hate often spark a more ardent motivation to quell intolerant ideology. Such is the case at the Wassmuth Center For Human Rights in Boise, ID, where the city's Anne Frank Memorial was just defaced with offensive anti-Semitic graffiti.
On May 9, a custodian discovered hateful tags scrawled on the memorial and alerted the foundation's docent, who was scheduled to tour students that day. As the only Anne Frank Memorial in the United States - and one of the only monuments worldwide to fully display the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - the monument is a vital symbol of humanity, even when it seems lost.
POPSUGAR spoke with Dr. Dan Prinzing, the organization's executive director, about the incident. He says it serves as a reminder to continue fighting against bigotry and prejudice through education. The center has not released (nor does it plan on releasing) what the defacement said, because that's not really the point: what matters is how the community responds to this injustice.
"Our programming has always been about how do we recognize the spiral of injustice," Prinzing said. "Often that spiral begins with language, when words are used as weapons, when we begin to target and marginalize others in the community."
He says the community response has been "overwhelming," and that at least two state lawmakers were swift in their calls to the Wassmuth Center after the incident was reported. It's also worth noting that this incident was the first time hateful words or symbols had been directed at the memorial since it was first dedicated in 2002. "This is not us," Prinzing added. "Us is how we respond to this and that's what frames us as a community."
And the community has responded with more than just phone calls of support: Prinzing said at least two funding campaigns have been set up to cover the $20,000 required to replace marble, which cannot be repaired without damaging the memorial's engravings.
"Someone may have tried to deface [the memorial]," Prinzing said, "but they cannot destroy the meaning."

The small town of Kampung Pelangi in Semarang, Indonesia, is being transformed into a rainbow tourist attraction. Two, she's an incredible baker and bakes whenever she has free time. Because of this, she's managed to turn her art degree into a baking career, where she's head baker at one of the biggest bakeries in our city, just because her employers saw the passion I had seen in her, and rewarded her for it.
2. When you're decisive
It seems like nobody's decisive these days. Even if the question is merely, "What should we have for dinner?" The question's usually met with an indecisive response, like: "I don't care, you decide" or "Whatever you feel like." Neither of these are actual answers, meaning they aren't helpful. Somebody who can make decisions shows a certain assertiveness, which goes hand in hand with confidence: something everybody appreciates in a partner.
3. When you get along with our friends
"A girl who can hang," is a top priority in any heterosexual man's relationship. There's nothing that makes us feel more confident in our relationship than knowing we can confidently leave you at a party for a bit and you can stand your ground with our buddies and their significant others without any social assistance. The last thing any man needs is a human bracelet who wants to go home 15 minutes in.
4. When you touch us

OK, maybe that was a tad drastic, but you get it.

Researchers from the University Medical Centre (UMC) Utrecht in the Netherlands found that striped patterns can trigger activity in the brain that causes headaches, migraines, and in severe cases, epilepsy. The study saw that parallel lines triggered strong "gamma oscillations" in the brain in a way that other patterns did not.
But before you run home to throw away your favorite striped shirt, it's important to point out that it's not only striped clothing that could be harming your health. There are a ton of other everyday items around you causing this tension.
"Our findings imply that in designing buildings, it may be important to avoid the types of visual patterns that can activate this circuit and cause discomfort, migraines, or seizures," said Dr. Dora Hermes, a researcher at UMC. "Even perfectly healthy people may feel modest discomfort from the images that are most likely to trigger seizures in photosensitive epilepsy."

If you read the bestselling novel by Nicola Yoon, then you already know, well, everything, everything there is to know. But if you plan on just going to the movies to see the beautiful story unfold on the big screen, then we have the perfect rundown of what it's about right here.
Much like The Fault in Our Stars, Everything, Everything is about a sick teenage girl who falls in love with a boy. Sounds pretty simple, right? Wrong. The story follows Madeline (Maddy) Whittier, an 18-year-old who is confined to her home because she suffers from SCID, or severe combined immunodeficiency. Since Maddy could be deathly allergic to anything, she can't go outside or interact with anyone who hasn't been properly sanitized. Gordon Ramsay: Good question . . . rude staff, bad lighting, and dirty bathrooms are all signs of a bad restaurant and a good reason to leave a restaurant!
PS: Can you share any new Gordon Ramsay insults that have been added to the game?
GR: I seem to be known for a certain set of kitchen dialogue, don't I? Those phrases are certainly still in the game, perhaps with greater frequency now, but only when players really mess up. Riverdale's First Season Just Left Us With a Bunch of Questions
As swiftly as it came into our lives, Riverdale's first season has concluded - leaving a trail of mysteries in its wake. We have plenty of time to theorize about what may happen on season two, but before we get too ahead of ourselves, let's take stock of how season one ends. Spoiler alert: I'm going over every major event from the finale.
Let's start with Cheryl. Mama Blossom is being crazy-stoic after Clifford's funeral. (He did murder Jason, but still.) Cheryl starts being all nice and it weirds out Veronica . . . until Veronica realizes that Cheryl is going to attempt suicide. Archie and the gang save her at the last minute, but Cheryl finds another way to start fresh: she burns down the mansion at Thornhill.
Meanwhile, Jughead is now in the custody of the state. FP can't care for him in prison and Fred has a DUI on his record, so they place him with a foster family on the South Side. He actually seems to fit in down there, even inheriting his dad's place in the Serpents gang. FP warns Archie not to give up on Jughead, even though Juggy will try to detach.
One of two major new mysteries is the identity of Alice Cooper's long-lost baby. She tells Betty that she gave up a child as a high school student, meaning Betty has a brother out there somewhere. We have a theory that FP is actually the daddy and Joaquin is their son, but we probably won't find out the truth for a while.
Right before the episode ends, everything is going great for Archie. He goes to meet his dad at Pop's (he thinks Fred wants to talk about something serious), but while he's washing his hands in the bathroom, a masked gunman comes in. The man shoots Fred, and though he doesn't die on camera, a voice-over from Jughead says that this is the moment Riverdale's innocence was really lost. Does this mean Fred's dead? And who is the shooter?
We'll have to wait until season two to find out!

Updates to Gordon Ramsay's mobile game Restaurant Dash With Gordon Ramsay went out this week, so I spoke to the chef about the new releases and his new favorite past-time: Twitter roasting. I also couldn't help but wonder his thoughts on an outrageous new food trend circulating social media. In good, old-fashioned chef Ramsay manner, he tactfully shuts it down. POPSUGAR: In Restaurant Dash, if your timing, accuracy, or equipment is bad . . . your diners won't be happy. In real life, this applies too. For you as a diner, what are immediate signs of really bad restaurant? As in, you should walk out?
Gordon Ramsay: Good question . . . rude staff, bad lighting, and dirty bathrooms are all signs of a bad restaurant and a good reason to leave a restaurant!
PS: Can you share any new Gordon Ramsay insults that have been added to the game?
GR: I seem to be known for a certain set of kitchen dialogue, don't I? Those phrases are certainly still in the game, perhaps with greater frequency now, but only when players really mess up. The ability for players to customize their avatar is a key component of the game. Some of the new voiceover pokes fun at the selection of certain chef's jackets, hats, and other items. It's a lot of fun.
PS: What new foods / recipes have been added to the game?
GR: The new venue is called Kiwi Cottage and it's located in New Zealand – a country I love! Some of the recipes players are challenged to cook up include Pavlova (of course), chocolate lamington, and ginger gems.
PS: You've become famous for your Twitter roasts of your fans' homemade food. It's becoming the next generation of "Pinterest Fails". What inspired you to start responding to them?
GR: Honestly, I had enough of people tagging me in shots of their food pictures that they thought were amazing, when they were terrible. How Miss USA Contestant Sarah Mousseau Stays Confident While Living With Alopecia

People can struggle with confidence at any age, and building it in your early years is essential as you get older. I was 8 years old when my mom noticed I had patches where my hair had fallen out on the back of my head. A doctor's visit a few weeks later confirmed that I was losing my hair due to the autoimmune disease alopecia.
Alopecia areata causes hair loss in some or all areas of the body, usually from the scalp, because the immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles. You can imagine how hard this was for me to understand as a young child. (Doctors still aren't even sure why this happens, and there is no cure for the disease.)
I tried to not allow the hair loss to bother me and even refused the painful treatments that could potentially prevent the hair loss. When my parents expressed concern with my well-being and how I was handling it emotionally, I would nonchalantly tell them, "I'm not dying - if I lose all of my hair, you can just put a wig on me!"
I learned that my self-worth was determined not by my outward appearance, but by life experiences and opportunities.
However, as I entered my teenage years, I began to experience the insecurities that so many young girls do when we enter middle school and high school. I was embarrassed by how I looked and was filled with self-doubt. I wouldn't acknowledge the cause of it and tried hard to cover up new bald spots as they appeared. Later, I was also diagnosed with vitiligo, another autoimmune disease which caused large patches of my skin to lose pigmentation.
It took a long time, but as I grew older, these diseases bothered me less and less. I learned that my self-worth was determined not by my outward appearance, but by life experiences and opportunities. I found myself through singing and songwriting and through academics, excelling in school and eventually earning my Master of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology. I began to see these "flaws" as just another part of me. I grew into the confident woman I am today by not only accepting my differences, but embracing them as a part of who I am.
Several weeks ago, I noticed new bald spots on my scalp. Instantly my confidence was shaken, as I knew I was leaving for the Miss USA competition in just a few weeks. I felt as if I was back in high school all over again. I was anxious, self-conscious, and worried about how this would impact my time at Miss USA. In the weeks that have followed, I keep thinking back to my childhood, asking myself, "What would 8-year-old Sarah do?" I repeat my mantra to myself: you are enough. I am confident and comfortable enough in myself to know that these "imperfections" are what shaped me into the woman I am today.
