We Are Getting "Down" to Fifth Harmony's First Single Without Camila Cabello

Fifth Harmony is here to own the Summer with their new single "Down," featuring Gucci Mane. This new catchy tune is Lauren Jauregui, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Dinah Jane, and Normani Kordei's first song without Camila Cabello, who left the group in late 2016 and is now promoting her own solo music. It didn't disappoint! The banger has a very similar upbeat tempo to 5H's previous hit "Work From Home", so that should be a sign that it'll be playing in clubs around the world all Summer long.

The ladies performed the hit for the first time on Good Morning America, looking super sexy in coordinated outfits with denim jackets and black shirts. Watch it all go down (literally) in the video above.

Forget the Fire - Taco Bell Has a New Salsa Meant Only For Breakfast

STOP! Don't you dare upend that regular old salsa over your eggs and bacon. Don't you know? There's now officially a thing called "Breakfast Salsa," so you never have to trifle with average hot sauces during your morning mealtime ever again. You can thank Taco Bell for this culinary innovation, which is now available nationwide.

In a press release, the fast-food chain described breakfast salsa as a milder version of the salsas we all know and love:

Look Back at Marilyn Monroe's Iconic Glamour in These 19 Gorgeous Photos

June 1 marks what would have been Marilyn Monroe's 91st birthday, and the Hollywood legend would have also been in pretty impressive company - Queen Elizabeth II, Tony Bennett, and Mel Brooks are all celebrating the milestone this year, as is Hugh Hefner, who coincidentally helped Marilyn shoot to stardom when he featured her as Playboy's first-ever Playmate of the Month back in December 1953. Born Norma Jeane Mortenson, Marilyn was placed in foster care at 7 years old and shuffled from family to family until agreeing to marry at the age of 16 so that she wouldn't have to return to an orphanage. She went on to transform herself from a soldier's wife and factory worker into Marilyn Monroe, a model and movie star.

Though Marilyn's life was cut short at the age of 36, the impact she left is undeniable. Not only does she live on in her films, but her iconic beauty, glamour, and body confidence have also inspired some of today's biggest stars, while also inadvertently serving as a tragic reminder of Hollywood's hidden pitfalls. In honor of Marilyn's lasting legacy, scroll through for some of her most gorgeous, memorable photos.

Chris Cornell's Wife Is "Heartbroken and Devastated" About His Toxicology Report

Chris Cornell died by suicide on May 17, and on Friday, a completed toxicology report revealed the Soundgarden frontman used prescription drugs at the time of his death. Following the release of the report, his wife Vicky issued an emotional statement to People, saying, "Many of us who know Chris well, noticed that he wasn't himself during his final hours and that something was very off. We have learned from this report that several substances were found in his system. After so many years of sobriety, this moment of terrible judgement seems to have completely impaired and altered his state of mind. Something clearly went terribly wrong and my children and I are heartbroken and are devastated that this moment can never be taken back."

She also thanked fans for their support, adding, "We very much appreciate all of the love we have received during this extremely difficult time and are dedicated to helping others in preventing this type of tragedy." Chris was found unresponsive with a band around his neck in the bathroom of his MGM Grand hotel room in Detroit and was pronounced dead when medics arrived on the scene. Chris and Vicky tied the knot in 2004 and share three children, daughter Toni, son Christopher, and daughter Lillian from Chris's previous marriage to Susan Silver.

Don't Design a Home Until You've Read RHOC Star Heather Dubrow's 4 Wise Tips

Heather Dubrow's multi-million-dollar homes are practically their own character on The Real Housewives of Orange County. From their mind-boggling square footage to their over-the-top amenities, Heather has a knack for designing unforgettable residences. "I've done two houses from the ground up. One that I bought halfway through construction and finished. And maybe three or four major remodels," the Evite video series host, actress, and mother of four told us in a recent phone interview. Based on the splendor of her most recent home - it has a champagne doorbell inside the palatial closet - we wanted to pick Heather's brain on home design. She shared her truly wise wisdom below.

Design a Home YOU Love

"I think the biggest thing with home design is - and it's taken me a long time to learn this - is you have to put things in your home that you love. And you can't worry about what other people are going to think about it," Heather sagely advises. She admits that when she first started designing homes, she was worried about what everyone else thought, getting hung up on the builder's opinion or a comment the designer made. "When I did [our current] house, I thought, 'You know what? I don't care. I'm going to build the house that I want.' And I am so happy with it. Terry's so happy with it. Maybe it's some people's taste, maybe it's not others,' but you really can't make a mistake if you put things in your home you love."

Start With a Solid Foundation

While Heather's first rule is to design a home you love, no matter how outlandish it may seem to other people, she clarifies that you can't put specific and bizarre pieces in your home in a way that cannot be removed. Meaning, she says, "you can put fuchsia pillows or a purple sofa or anything weird like that, that's fine. But you cannot do a purple marble bathroom because it's just too odd, and if you go to try to sell it, people will feel like they have to replace that." In summary, she says, "when you do the bones of the house, you have to make sure that it's very pretty and homogenous . . . but other than that, go crazy."

Create a Floor Plan Around Your Specific Lifestyle

While Heather's last house was huge, she says the floor plan didn't really flow with the way her family lived and that's, "really important when you're building a house, or remodeling a house, or even buying a house." Heather always wished she had taken a couple more passes at the design before construction began on that house, so when building this house, she says, "I knew exactly what I wanted it to look like. I knew exactly how we function. And as ridiculously large as this house is, we use every square inch of it because of the way it's laid out.

Search High-End and Low-End For Decor

While Heather isn't shy about admitting she loves fine art or splurging on fancy pieces, like a recent Kelly Wearstler statue, she also doesn't overlook more affordable options. "I've been looking for art for my formal powder room for literally six months, and I finally just found something from Target!" Heather exclaims. "I bought this collection of paintings and they are so gorgeous and they were the perfect color and the perfect size and it was wrapped canvas and I freaked out over them." To give them a more unique, upmarket look, Heather positioned them in a different directions. "They're the cheapest thing I've bought, I think, in the house, but they are perfection."

This Is the Dumbest Thing You Can Do on Venmo

Venmo is so easy, it seems too good to be true, right? As convenient as the money-sharing app is, it's also not necessarily the safest way to pay someone. The app, owned by PayPal, makes sending and receiving money quick and painless, but over and over, we keep hearing about people being scammed or people losing money, so we wondered if the app was actually safe at all. In short, if you're aware of the following four big issues with Venmo, you can definitely use it and be assured that you won't have any problems.

1. Your transactions default to being public.

In case you didn't notice, the default setting is for your transactions to show up publicly in Venmo. It won't necessarily show how much money was exchanged, but it will say your name, the name of the person you exchanged money with, and the note that was included. This is problematic for two reasons. First of all, that means everyone can see if your friend put a note on the money she sent you that is maybe a little racy or inappropriate. Secondly, this makes it easier for a hacker to imitate your account by copying your name and picture and requesting money from your friends, as reported in a paper published by MIT students in 2014. However, you can change this privacy level in your settings. You can switch it over to make it so that you are the only one who sees your transactions and make it so your friends can't share your transactions.

2. You might pay more than you bargained for.

If you're using your credit card to send a payment, you'll be paying an additional 3 percent fee on top. You can avoid that fee if you use your Venmo balance, debit card, or bank account for payment.

3. It's dangerously easy to set up with all your sensitive information.

If you're like me, you may have set up your Venmo account and connected it to your bank account without thinking twice. It's pretty much what the app asks you to do, and it makes it super easy to pay and withdraw money. But that also means all your banking information is stored in this little app, which is maybe not the greatest idea on a platform that is seemingly so public. Venmo reached out to me to assure me that it will not share your information publicly, but in a digital age, it's good to be extra careful with where you're storing your info.

4. The money isn't immediately transferred.

While it feels like the money lands in your Venmo account immediately after your friend sends it, it actually doesn't come through until the next business day. This may not be a big deal if you're exchanging money with friends or family, but you can easily be scammed by a stranger this way. This is why you should really avoid using Venmo with anyone you don't trust or know personally and why doing so is the dumbest thing you can do on Venmo. Say you sell something to a stranger and they Venmo you the money, it looks like it came through to you right away, yes? According to Time Money, that's not the case. The money "leaves" the sender's account immediately and you get a notification that you have the money. They then receive whatever you sold them and leave. On the off chance that the stranger used a fraudulent account or didn't actually have the money to pay you, once you attempt to transfer the money from your Venmo to your bank, you'll be on the hook for that amount.

While it's been noted in other places that users can cancel a Venmo payment from going through, according to Venmo's help center, that is not true. The root of the problem is using Venmo with people you don't trust, which is something Venmo strongly advises against.

George R.R. Martin Finally Says What Game of Thrones Fans Already Know About Trump

Almost immediately after Donald Trump announced his candidacy, people on social media began pointing out the rather obvious similarities between him and Game of Thrones' maniacal King Joffrey. A newly published interview in Esquire suggests that the notoriously mum and apolitical author George R.R. Martin agrees with the comparison.

The interview, published on May 24, actually centers on Kit Harington, the actor behind the character Jon Snow. However, it also reveals Martin's stance on Trump. "I think Joffrey is now the king in America," Martin said while recognizing the parallels between his character and reality. "And he's grown up just as petulant and irrational as he was when he was thirteen in the books." It's not exactly surprising that a reality TV star might share character traits with a power-hungry, paranoid king who has a penchant for theatrics.

Following Martin's lead, Harington offered a blunt but all-encompassing opinion of Trump, despite his self-proclaimed desire to let "experts" analyze political discourse. "Mr. Donald Trump, I wouldn't call him President, I'll call him Mister," Harington confessed. "I think this man at the head of your country is a con artist."

Without revealing any spoilers for those just beginning to watch the show, let's just say Trump's fate and Joffrey's differ dramatically (so long as Trump has someone testing his food).

6 Anthropologie Shopping Tips Straight From an Employee

Nothing quite compares to that one-of-a-kind Anthropologie shopping experience that we all know and love. From all of its wonderfully chic pieces just waiting to fill up your wardrobe to the funky decorative items (we are talking bed frames all the way to trinket trays), this company has successfully created the ultimate collection of lifestyle necessities loved from California all the way to New York and beyond. Read on as an Anthro employee offers us six supervaluable insider tidbits sure to make our shopping experience even that much more exciting.

1. Anthropologie Offers Complimentary Home Styling

Not only does Anthropologie offer styling free of charge for your wardrobe, but it also extends the service to home styling. The Anthro employee says, "Customers can make appointments online at anthropologie.com or by calling their local stores." So next time you find yourself trying to decide on the perfect table lamp for your desk, you will know just how to get in touch!

2. It's Worth It to Foster an Employee/Customer Relationship

One of Anthropologie's main objectives is to create a one-of-a-kind shopping experience for each customer's unique needs and lifestyle. The Anthro employee says, "Stylists treat our customers as they would their friends. It's a fun experience, with lots of shared laughter, and equal amounts of honesty and respect. They love helping our customer curate their world or wardrobe to be its most beautiful and to reflect their personal style."

And while developing a connection with an Anthropologie employee is both enjoyable and helpful for a customer, it also pays off! The employee continues, "Our personal stylists always keep their customers in mind and in the know, reaching out when new styles and products arrive. They also provide tips and tricks for getting the most longevity out of their customers' wardrobes and home decor."

So, to recap, a knowledgeable friend who offers honest styling advice, plus the inside scoop on new arrivals!? This is nothing short of a win-win.

3. Anthropologie Hosts Localized In-Store Events

Depending on where you are in the country, each Anthropologie store will probably have some slight variations. The employee shares that the reason for this is because stores are "highly individualized and tailored to their local communities . . . [the] cadence may differ from one to the other."

When it comes to store events, the same is also true. While each location's event schedule is unique, you can expect to see a mix of book signings, pet adoptions, fashion shows, pop-up markets, registry parties, and plenty of other seasonal events. Whatever your interest may be, your local Anthro store is sure to have it covered!

4. It Pays Off to Be an Anthro Member

As a shopper, how do you find out about all of these fun local events? While in-store signage and email blasts are smart ways to stay in the know, the employee says that the absolute best way to stay ahead of the curve is by becoming an Anthro member. "Many events are designed for Anthro members, so if customers are interested in events, it's a good idea to sign up for the free program. Members will receive invites by email to events in their local store(s). Of course, if customers happen upon an event and there is sufficient space, they'll be invited to join whether or not they're an Anthro member." All you have to do is provide your name, phone number, email, home address, and date of birth.

Plus, not only does a membership keep shoppers in the loop on events and personal styling benefits, but it also gives you a little something extra for your birthday! That's right, the employee shares that Anthropologie offers a special birthday benefit: "15 percent off one purchase during [your] birthday month." Yes, please!

5. Its Sister Shop Is BHLDN - and It Is a Bride's Dream

If you are a bride-to-be and a superfan of Anthropologie, then you are also going to love its sister shop BHLDN! This fab bridal store does an amazing job catering to those going through the wedding planning process. Our insider shares that BHLDN "typically holds two events per year to share new seasonal collections with customers, [which] include wedding fairs (curated experience with popular wedding vendors), sip and sees (two times per year, January and August collections), and DIY events with partner wedding vendors to offer brides the opportunities to create something special." All current and future brides . . . please take note!

6. They Receive New Products Every. Single. Day.

Lastly, Anthropologie is certainly never short on new merch! The employee says, "There is always something new to discover at Anthropologie. We introduce product every day." So whether you stop in once a week, visit once a month, or do the occasional online browse, your experience (and your findings!) will be wonderfully different every single time you shop.

Macadamia Nuts and Cashews Are Being Recalled, So Check Your Packages ASAP

Another day, another scary food recall. According to the Food and Drug Administration, cashews and macadamia nuts are being recalled and pulled from store shelves due to possible listeria contamination. The Simple Truth Dry Roasted Macadamia Nuts being recalled come in a 12-ounce, clear package with an expiration date of May 2, 2018 and were sold at Kroger, Bakers, Gerbes, and Dillons stores in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri. The UPC number is 11110-02478.

Although there have been no reported illnesses from the macadamia nuts thus far, Kroger has removed the containers from shelves and has warned customers to check the labels of their nut containers. If you've recently purchased macadamia nuts from any of the above grocery stores, the FDA warns customers should NOT eat the nuts and return the package to stores for a full refund.

In addition to the macadamias, Ava's Brand 8 oz. Organic Roasted Salted Cashews have also been voluntarily recalled due to possible listeria contamination. While the packages tested negative for listeria bacteria, Hampton Farms, the company that owns Ava's, has decided to pull the items out of caution. Less than 225 units have been possibly contaminated, but distributors of the product have been notified to remove from stores. The packages have the UPC number 8-10111-01035-1, and the best by date of April 28, 2018 and Lot 11817-L2.

"We deeply regret this situation and have employed our established recall plan to immediately remove the product from distribution," Dallas Barnes, president of Hampton Farms, said in a statement. "Nothing is more important than providing safe and wholesome, quality products."

Check your packages to see if any of your nut purchases are included in this recall.

Exclusive First Reveal of Huda Kattan's 12 Lip Strobe Metallic Glosses

In the midst of an over-saturated, holographic beauty world, Huda Kattan managed to launch a collection of metallic strobing lip gloss collection that feels fresh. The entrepreneur and Instagram star looked for inspiration from both the past and the future when she developed her Lip Strobes, a 12-shade range launching mid June ($18 each, shophudabeauty.com). The hues play into both the frosty shades of the '90s and iridescent unicorn-inspired products of 2017.

"Right now people are obsessed with things that seem out of this world and give them some type of surprise," she told POPSUGAR via email. "The idea of something iridescent or duo chromatic seems a little mysterious and unique. They are kind of super '90s meets the future."

The colors may play into the existing trend, but each feels unique. There are both sheer and full-coverage shimmer formulas. Expect a range that varies from Enchanted, a pale pink with a pearlescent finish, to Fearless, a sparkly pigmented fuchsia.

"I am obsessed with duo chromes and iridescence right now!" she said of how the concept was born. "We were inspired when we were creating our Melted Strobe for our 3D Highlighters. We were just playing with shimmers and glitters and somehow this was created."

Huda went on: "For the colors we wanted something that would almost change in some lights or on top of certain colors. All of the glosses have serious shimmer, some are opaque and full of pigment and shine, while others are duo chromatic and iridescent."

The vlogger admitted she is not always a fan of lip glosses, so she was extra careful when crafting these. Don't expect the sticky, goopy ones you actually wore back when *NSYNC was together. "I hate gloss, and I am super fussy with what I wear," she said. "This feels so luxurious and hydrating while wearing. It's not sticky and the strobes feel super comfortable on the lips."

"I hate gloss, and I am super fussy with what I wear. This feels so luxurious and hydrating."

She even perfected the applicator to enhance the cozy wearability. "The strobes also have a precision, heart-shaped wand which glides on an even coat for a luminous finish giving you an extra smooth application," she added.

When it came to naming, she simply picked adjectives that would cater to your moods. "The names were inspired by our Liquid Mattes - we thought of it as the next step to your pout," Huda explained. "So we thought we would make it a way to describe the personality behind the Liquid Matte. So you could be a Ritzy (Lip Strobe) Trophy Wife (Liquid Matte), or a Shameless (Lip Strobe) Trendsetter (Liquid Matte) and really feel something towards the look you floss."

Though we knew it would be like choosing between children, we asked which color is her favorite. "This is so hard but I'd have to say that I am obsessed with Snobby," Huda revealed. "It's one of the shades which took the longest to create, and I'd bathe in it if I could! It's a semi-sheer pink shade with gold and pink big shimmers!"

According to Huda, the best way to wear the Lip Strobe is to glide it across your pout, and then take some off with a tissue. "You can remove the gloss by blotting off the excess, which will leave you with a glistening shimmer without the gloss." She also recommends layering it on thoroughly for an intensely pigmented, shiny style, or dabbing it in just the center of your pout for a subtle contoured effect.

Huda even tried wearing them on her eyelids, which she teased on social media! "I never realized this would work so well until a day before our campaign shoot!" she enthused. "They look ahhhmazing on the lids, and you can wear them on top of a shadow or just as is. For easy application, a small flat brush works nicely or even your fingers will do the trick. I would only recommend adding a small amount and for short periods, since it is a gloss and will move around." Basically: do it for Instagram, and then wash it off before you attend a rooftop soiree in the heat.

Before you worry about removing these buzzy lipsticks, start planning how you'll get your hands on them when they launch on Monday! And as you count down the minutes until you can hit "add to cart," see every shade and swatch - exclusively here first!

Guests of This Downton Abbey-Inspired Wedding Partied Like the Crawleys

Fans of British drama Downton Abbey will admire this grand turn-of-the-century wedding inspired by the series. Elizabeth and Matt hosted a party like the Crawley family, featuring a Champagne tower, classic black-tie attire, and even a manor-like venue. The bridal party's look was also reminiscent of the Roaring '20s with gorgeous dresses adorned in beading. And of course the bride looked stunning in a modest lace gown we think Lady Sybil would approve of.

Mom Shares the Sheer Heartbreak of Having Stillborn Identical Twins at 37 Weeks

When Jacqueline Hoy and her husband found out that they were expecting third and fourth children, these Australian parents were shocked. Neither had twins in the family, and after the initial surprise wore off, they began happily making plans for their expanding family.

According to Jacqi, who is also mom to 8-year-old Lachlan and 2-year-old Edward, her third pregnancy was uncomplicated. The couple decided early on to name their identical twins Henry and William, and the boys were healthy at every doctor's visit. However, when Jacqui woke up one morning near the end of her pregnancy, she knew something was different.

At this point, Jacqui was 37 weeks pregnant, and the doctors planned to induce her in a few days. "I saw the boys two days earlier during a scan and they were kicking and had normal heartbeats," Jacqui told POPSUGAR. "There was absolutely no indication that it would end the way it did."

Jacqui explained that her pregnancy was considered "high risk" because she was carrying multiples but never dwelled on that label any further. Until she woke up on that Monday morning, dropped her oldest off at school, and noticed that her twins were unusually quiet. "I drank a glass of ice and lay down on the lounge as this normally gets them moving," Jacqui wrote in a post for Whimn. "But after an hour I wasn't sure that I was feeling them at all. I then had a sudden urge to throw-up, so I called the hospital to come in."

When the midwife had a hard time finding the heartbeats, she wasn't too alarmed because she knew it could be difficult with twins, but when her obstetrician came in, he delivered the devastating news: Henry had died. "The overwhelming pain that took over my body was uncontrollable," she wrote. "I felt like I was trapped in a nightmare and I needed to wake up. But I couldn't escape."

The doctor found William's heartbeat and immediately performed an emergency C-section. "I remember lying on the table surrounded by what felt like 30 people working on me, telling me that I was okay and to keep breathing," she wrote. "But the whole time I wanted to yell and scream, 'Please just put me out. Make this pain stop.'"

When she started to wake up after the surgery, the first thing she registered was hearing her husband crying. She immediately understood what that meant and didn't want to open her eyes. She knew that as soon as she did, she'd be hit with the news that William didn't make it either. "The week that followed, all I had was questions, too much pain and the most unbelievable broken heart. I remember that somebody once said to me, 'You won't know love until you have a child.' I don't disagree with that statement," she wrote. "But I can assure you, you won't know heartbreak until you lose a child."

Since the devastating end to her pregnancy, Jacqui said that each day is difficult and surviving "the firsts" has been the hardest part. She explained that in the weeks that followed, her body didn't know that her babies had died. "It had to run its natural pre-birth course: of the milk coming in and recovery from a major surgery. Only I wasn't holding my two precious rewards at the same time," she wrote.

Doctors officially diagnosed Henry's death as an "unexplained stillbirth" and explained that William died due to their shared placenta. It's been three months since this unimaginable turn of events, and Jaqui's family of four is still trying to recover. "The constant reminders of the hopes we had for our family are often really difficult as well and seeing little bubbas when out and about pulls at the heart strings like you wouldn't believe," she said. "Some days my husband is my rock and other days I am his rock but we have found that we need to be really open and honest with each other about how we are feeling otherwise the partnership doesn't work."

In addition to publicly sharing their story, the parents have also become ambassadors for Stillbirth Foundation Australia in order to help prevent other families from enduring similar pain. "Six babies every day are stillborn in Australia, that's one every four hours," Jaqui said. "We are hoping that by coming forward, other families will feel confident in doing the same and this can help to create the awareness needed."

She also hopes that unity among families who have suffered this loss and being vocal about their tragedies will help to put pressure on governments for research funding. "Not having a reason why our babies aren't here with us breaks my heart every day," she said. "If more research is done, maybe we could then be given reasons why and they will be able to find out strategies to prevent it from happening to others."

This Skit Proves "Despacito" Fatigue Is Very Real - but Also Why We Still Can't Quit It

At the start of the year, Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee released a sexy song titled - just kidding, you totally know what song we're talking about and you've probably heard "Despacito" at least once a day since it was released. In a recent video that's since gone viral, three Italian men parse through their complex feelings about the ubiquitous jam and it's painfully accurate.

In the video, the three YouTube personalities behind The Jackal get annoyed as "Despacito" comes on the radio yet again. But do they change the radio station? Of course not! What happens next will make you say, "Me." Watch the hysterical skit above and then refer to Mexican comedian Tiburcio's parody of the song to keep the laughs going.

9 Street Style Trends You'll Wear For the Rest of 2017

Every season, we can count on street style stars to inspire the way we style the latest trends. One look at their outfits, and we're convinced that white boots are worth investing in and that a corset is wearable IRL. We spotted these pieces on trendsetters across major cities like NYC and Paris, and as Fashion Month comes to a close, we're left with a shopping list longer than we ever anticipated. Since it's difficult to keep track of every amazing street style outfit you see, we've managed to boil the looks down to nine repeated trends. These are the ones you will be wearing for the rest of the year. And if you're eager to get ahead on Fall '17, here are the eight major trends from the runways.

Ease Your 13 Reasons Why Withdrawals With Another Clay Jensen and Hannah Baker Reunion

Nearly a month after reuniting at the MTV Movie and TV Awards, Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford came together once again at Netflix's 13 Reasons Why FYC event in Beverly Hills on Friday. Dylan and Katherine - who play Clay Jensen and Hannah Baker, respectively, on the show - hit the red carpet with Kate Walsh, who plays Olivia Baker, before making their way inside to participate in a panel discussion.

Their fun outing comes on the heels of Netflix's big announcement that the popular Netflix series will be returning for a second season. While details are still pretty scarce, according to Netflix, season two will begin "in the aftermath of Hannah Baker's death and the start of the characters' complicated journeys toward healing and recovery." Executive producer Selena Gomez also posted a teaser with the caption, "Their story isn't over." Here's hoping we will see even more of the lovable cast as they promote the upcoming season of 13 Reasons Why.

Recall Alert! Frozen Tuna Tested Positive For Hepatitis A

On June 1, the Food and Drug Administration released a statement about its on-going investigation into "potentially contaminated frozen tuna" distributed by Hilo Fish. According to the report, the Hawaii Department of Health first discovered the contagious hepatitis A virus in samples of frozen tuna on May 1. Shortly after, on May 18, Hilo Fish Company launched an official recall of tuna collected from Sustainable Seafood Company and Santa Cruz Seafood, Inc.

So far, there hasn't been any illnesses reported in conjunction with the potential frozen tuna contamination, but the Center for Disease Control (CDC) is advising anyone from Texas, Oklahoma, and California who hasn't been vaccinated for hepatitis A virus and ate raw or under cooked tuna products in the past 2 weeks to get treated with post exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

Keep reading to see a list of all of the frozen tuna products that has been recalled so far, and make sure to toss out anything that may be affected!

  • Frozen Yellowfin tuna steaks from Sustainable Seafood Company
  • Yellowfin tuna cubes from Santa Cruz Seafood
  • 8 ounce Tuna Steaks from Hilo Fish Company with the expiration date of Oct. 1, 2018
  • 15 pound Frozen Yellowfin tuna cubes with the expiration date of April 4, 2019

For extra precaution, the FDA has also provided a list of restaurants and other retail establishments that received the recalled frozen tuna. Better safe than sorry!

Why a 7-Year-Old Girl Got in Trouble For Writing Her Name in Cursive

When a teacher reprimands a student, you can safely assume the kid in question did something wrong. Maybe she pushed a classmate in line, or perhaps he called out an answer without raising his hand. Or maybe she wrote her name in cursive.

After turning in a homework assignment focusing on vowels, a 7-year-old girl named Alyssa received some harsh words from her teacher. In red pen at the top of the lesson sheet, her teacher wrote:

Stop writing your name in cursive. You have had several warnings.

Turns out, Alyssa's mom - based in Kansas - had taken the time to teach her daughter to write in cursive and likely never imagined she'd get in trouble for it. After the photo was shared by a friend on Facebook, commenters were outraged, like one who said, "Best of luck to any teacher who writes this on my children's papers!"

We're not sure what this particular teacher's philosophy is on cursive handwriting, but it's a skill still taught in most elementary schools, despite rumblings that there's less need for it with the ubiquitous nature of keyboards and digital communication. And there's good reason all children should learn cursive penmanship:

  • Studies show that printing letters and writing in cursive use different parts of the brain, with the latter helping to develop a child's fine motor skills. Not only that, in one study, people who wrote in cursive showed more brain activity than those who printed or typed - and they also generated more words and ideas.
  • Kids who learn cursive have been seen to score higher on reading and spelling tests and have a better ability to retain information.
  • Some people with learning disabilities, like dyslexia, or severe brain injuries can understand cursive better than print.
  • There are plenty of important historical documents that are written in cursive, and children who can't decipher cursive words won't be able to read them. It'd be as if the Declaration of Independence was written in another language.
  • As infrequently as adults need to write in cursive these days, they still need to sign plenty of paperwork, from lease agreements to marriage certificates to receipts.

9 Ways to Make a Long Flight Less Boring

10+ hours in a metal tube in the sky. Your options for entertainment are relatively limited, but long flights across states, countries, and seas don't have to be as painful as you think - if you come prepared. From Netflix downloads to goodie bags and soundproof headphones, here are some tips from a recent Reddit thread to help make your next long flight less boring.

1. Figure out if you want to sleep on the flight or not. "Bottom line is - adjust to your destination's time zone ASAP. For instance, if you're taking an evening flight from Europe and landing in the US at night, try to sleep as little as possible." - Reddit user yo_name_is_TOBY

2. Bring soundproof headphones! "You wont believe how good you feel with those on, the difference is incredible, it as if you were covering your ears with your hands the whole flight. Then put on some audiobooks and learn something new." - Reddit user Snaaaaaaaaaake

3. Download a series or movies on Netflix. "Netflix just offers full downloads of everything for offline viewing now, the files are encrypted, but it's really convenient. YouTube with YouTube Red also allow download of any videos. I've used flights to catch up on game grumps and Netflix series." - Reddit user FurryWolves

4. Bring a paper book or magazine. "On long flights, my eyes get tired of the laptop and iPad screens, so just holding and reading a paperback makes me feel better." Reddit user jmdinbtr

5. Create a backlog of media you can watch. "For me this includes: podcasts, Netflix movies, and other movies on my computer." - Reddit user yo_name_is_TOBY

6. Load up your tablet or phone with things to read and watch offline. "Have a tablet with entertainment! Laptop is often checked in only." - Reddit user viking91.

7. Figure out if you want to get any work done, and break it down into chunks. "I have a pretty bad time focusing on planes. If I spend more than 30 minutes doing something, I start zoning out. Your mileage may vary, but based on what your attention span is, plan out your flight so that you cycle through discrete chunks of all your media. So in my case, that's 30 minutes of podcast one, 30 minutes of a Netflix show, 30 minutes of podcast two, 30 minutes of work, and then start the cycle over again. Depending on if you're flying with someone or not, talking with them or other sh*t will crop up in the flight that will also kill some time, which is great." - Reddit user yo_name_is_TOBY

8. Get an aisle seat so you can walk around. "16-hour flights are the worst when you sit at the window and you need a pee but the people blocking the exit are asleep." Reddit user ChefGamma.

9. Give yourself a whole goody bag of things to entertain yourself and space out each activity. "Try to get a variety of things so you don't get as bored. Obviously try to sleep as much as possible, but fill in the rest of the time with stuff: listen to podcasts or books on tape (so you can be mentally engaged but rest your eyes), download some classic movies you never got around to seeing, buy a puzzle book with crosswords, word searches, logic puzzles, etc. Bring along some favorite snacks but make yourself wait to eat them, like at eight hours in, 12 hours in. Buy a book on how to do origami and learn some of that. Bring along some trashy celebrity magazines that you would never buy but secretly love." - Reddit user fortnight14

Ariana Grande Arrives Back in the UK For Her Manchester Benefit Concert

Ariana Grande touched down at Stansted Airport in the UK on Friday morning following a heartbreaking and emotional week. After a terror attack left 22 dead and more than 100 injured at her concert in Manchester on May 22, the singer quickly flew back home to Florida, where she had an emotional reunion with boyfriend Mac Miller. But after speaking out about the tragedy and urging fans to never let hate win, Ariana promised to return to the "incredibly brave city of Manchester" to perform a benefit concert to raise money for the victims. The show, titled One Love Manchester, will take place on Sunday and feature performances by stars like Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Usher, Pharrell Williams, and Niall Horan. Many of the celebrities who are involved in the concert also offered their support for Ariana and the victim's families on social media shortly after the attack. In addition to Ariana's powerful message, her manager, Scotter Braun, also had an emotional response to how he plans to deal with the aftermath.

The Spelling Bee Winner Is So Badass, She Wrote Her Victory Speech Before Becoming a Champ

To some people, competing in the Scripps National Spelling Bee might feel like a tremendous challenge. But to 12-year-old Ananya Vinay, this year's winner, it was simply a matter of studying for a few hours a day. Vinay was so confident she'd win that she wrote her speech before the competition as motivation.

Vinay, who is from Fresno, CA, spelled marocain correctly to win. The word, as Merriam-Webster notes, is defined as "a ribbed crepe fabric use in women's clothing." You can watch her winning moment ahead.

In addition to bragging rights and a shiny trophy, Vinay also comes away with $40,000 in cash and prizes. "It's a like a dream come true. I am so happy right now," she said to KTLA. Vinay is the first spelling bee winner to win the competition in three years, without competing in a tiebreaker.

How NYX Became THE Mass Brand at the Top of the Social Media Hierarchy

NYX Professional Makeup, a budget brand with the payoff of higher-priced alternatives, started as a line that catered to professionals in the industry. And it still does. But now, the power of social media has allowed it to appeal to a vast market of influencers and their makeup-loving fans. It's done this by creating affordable products for artists of all levels and by focusing on diversity within the makeup community.

You may know the brand's story, but if not, here are the Cliff Notes: NYX Professional Makeup was founded in 1999 by Toni Ko in Los Angeles, catering to the burgeoning makeup artist community in SoCal. Ko sold the brand to L'Oréal for $500 million in 2015, left her post at the cosmetics company, and is the brain behind millennial-centric brand Perverse Sunglasses. (She's clearly got a knack for creating successful brands.)

The brand sold to L'Oréal for $500 million in 2015

NYX provides professional, trend-driven products at a price point that won't break the bank. Think liquid lipsticks for $7 a pop, glitter pigments for $6, and eye shadow palettes around $15. Tribe Dynamics, a marketing technology company for lifestyle brands, reports that NYX was in the top five cosmetics brands for March 2017 when it comes to earned media value - a benchmark metric which determines the earned publicity through digital word-of-mouth. In layman's terms: people are talking up a storm about NYX online.

NYX (pronounced "niks") was initially only sold in CVS, Target, and Ulta Beauty before opening its first retail location at Westfield Santa Anita in Arcadia, CA, in 2015. In the past 18 months, the brand has opened over 100 retail locations, including shops in France and Thailand, and it just added a storefront at The Miracle Mile Shops in Las Vegas. The stores were created with social media in mind, featuring large vanities with digital tutorials led by influencers, so consumers can follow along while testing out products before they purchase. Lines for store openings frequently round the block and start overnight.

"What we wanted to do was bring the ultimate expression of brand to our fans," said Nathalie Kristo, global marketing manager of NYX. "What we were noticing, of course, was how they were interacting on social media and digital in this makeup world. We thought, 'Why don't we bring a place where we combine digital and social media with our 2,000 products and create a place where we can play with makeup, discover new looks, [and] follow tutorials on how to create the latest makeup looks?' We aimed to translate all of the energy that we've had with our online community into a physical place."

Bringing Democracy to Makeup

It's rare that a brand appeals to professional artists and also caters to YouTubers and the regular makeup junkie alike. For NYX, the focus has always been to create a space that celebrates artistry of all calibers.

"For us, it stems from the mission this brand has: artistry for all. This idea that everybody can have access to professional makeup products," said Kristo. "That everyone can have access to the latest makeup looks. And that's what social media has done. They've really helped democratize makeup artistry. It used to be a pretty closed circle - you used to have to go to school and gotten a certificate or certification. With social media, it's allowed people to teach each other and to learn and to become more DIY. It's about bringing creativity, artistry, and the passion for makeup to everyone."

Part of that passion led to the founding of The Fine Artistry of Cosmetic Elites Awards, or FACE Awards for short. "The NYX Face Awards is like the Olympics of makeup," said Nikita Dragun, whose YouTube channel has over 550K subscribers, and who appeared at the opening of the Miracle Mile Shops location.

"The NYX Face Awards is like the Olympics of makeup." - Nikita Dragun

The socially driven competition pits artists against each other through a series of makeup challenges. Many top YouTube talent are alumni of the awards, and semi-finalists and finalists from previous years have re-entered the 2017 competition. New talent is also welcomed into the pool - and it can help catapult their careers. The Top 20 were just announced for this year's competition, which culminates with a live event on Aug. 19, where the winner walks away with $50,000 and title of beauty vlogger of the year.

"The Face Awards, for example, has been a platform where a lot of upcoming makeup artists or influencers of today are alumni. We've known them since they've been starting out," said Kristo. "We've done what we can to advance them and their careers and we're really proud of that. We're really happy to see them grow and flourish." 2015's winner, Mykie of Glam & Gore, had 350,000 subscribers when she was announced as a Top 30 contestant; two years later, she currently touts over 1.98M subscribers and has worked with studios like Lionsgate.

Innovation Based on Consumer Hacks

NYX prides itself on producing trend-worthy products at a moment's notice, which allows them to easily get in on major social media moments while the iron is still hot. "When we see something brewing online, we quickly go into product development, and then we bring it to market as fast as possible. If we see people using products in interesting, different ways, it maybe tells us "Oh, there's a need for this,'" said Kristo. For example, the creation of Macaron Lippies, which feature vivid neon and pastel shades, were created after the team saw consumers using the Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk ($4) and layering bright eye shadow shades on top to create a pastel pop.

"[If] they're using a product in a way it's not meant to be used in order to do something else, it gives us an idea that maybe there's something we need to bring to market," said Kristo.

Inclusiveness in Product and Social Media

NYX, while mass market, isn't overshadowed by prestige brands. Tribe Dynamics reports NYX as ranking within the top five brands on almost all digital social channels (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and Blogs) in terms of earned media value, and it is the only mass brand within a sea of prestige like MAC Cosmetics, Benefit Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Tarte, and Urban Decay. In fact, no other mass brand is in the Top 10 ranking companies. According to Statista, NYX ranks as the No. 4 beauty brand in Instagram followers, thanks to its 11.1 million fans to date.

"We've built this community over many years. We were one of the first brands to understand the power of social media through makeup," said Kristo. "What we've done on social media is really celebrate the artistry of everyday people. Our Instagram account is a platform to celebrate, whether it's really sophisticated makeup artists, influencers, or everyday people that are interpreting makeup in different ways."

"What we've done on social media is really celebrate the artistry of everyday people." - Nathalie Kristo

The brand focuses on inclusivity and diversity, offering a variety of shades that caters to all races. The Lip Lingerie line features 24 shades of "nude" matte liquid lipstick; the Total Control Drop Foundation also features 24 shades, including fair, light, medium, and deep with varying undertones.

"NYX as a brand embodies every woman, every boy, anything - everything in between. That's what's made them so successful, lending to their creativity and self-expression. I'm a trans girl, coming from Virginia, and I found myself resonating with the brand and what they stand for. They cater to everyone," said Dragun, who came out on her channel as transgender in 2015.

This mission of inclusivity has helped take NYX to the top. "We've always been a social media brand. We know that our audience is everybody," said Kristo. "We are one of the brands that is one of the most well developed with every ethnic group. We've taken care of the products to have strong pigment load, to have all of the colors available in the different shades and undertones so people know that the product will work for them. And we've always represented diversity well on all of our platforms and social media."

Guys, Kendall Jenner Might Have Started a New Trend With These Double-Sided Pants

Kendall Jenner made statements left and right at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival with her stunning red carpet looks and enviable swimsuits. But she might have just started a new trend with this particular street style outfit.

Meet Cosmo the Spacedog From Disneyland's New Guardians of the Galaxy Ride!

While we all absolutely love Baby Groot, there's something else in the Guardians of the Galaxy universe that's stealing our hearts. Featured prominently in the line for Disneyland's new Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! is Cosmo the Spacedog. He's located in the Collector's fortress just to the left of the main doors as you walk in.

You might recognize him from the original Guardians of the Galaxy movie as he makes his cameo escaping with the rest of the crew just before the Collector's fortress implodes. But this little pup has quite the interesting backstory.

Cosmo is a former Soviet dog who was launched into Earth's orbit in the 1960s, but he drifted off into space and eventually found himself at the space station Knowhere, where he mutated, was given telepathic powers, and eventually became the station's security chief.

How cute would this guy be as your head of security?

He then teams up with Nova, another superhero in the Marvel universe, and eventually becomes a liaison to the Guardians of the Galaxy, assisting them with plotting courses for the troubled spots in the universe.

I have a feeling that this isn't the last we've seen of the talking K9 - and when you get the chance to ride the ride, make sure to give him a little pet!

Orange Is the New Black's fifth season will be here before you know it (sort of), and we have more than a few questions for it. Season four ends on a massive cliffhanger, with a riot about to break out and Daya wielding a weapon. Of course we're wondering how that story will wrap up, but there are a lot of other things going on in the prison that need resolution. 17 Burning Questions We Have For Orange Is the New Black Season 5

While we're poring over all the season five details we have so far, let's review the questions we still have about season four.

This Dad's Reaction to His Rainbow Baby Being Born Is Beyond Moving

Every child's birth is full of emotion, but for parents expecting a rainbow baby, there's a unique set of overwhelming feelings that accompany the day of their baby's birth. Austin, TX, birth photographer Leilani Rogers is used to photographing all types of births, but this one in particular featuring the Madden family is giving us serious chills.

Hope and Hunter Madden may have just welcomed a baby girl, but the couple has been through a lot, having experienced loss due to miscarriage as well as infertility. Their rainbow baby's beautiful birth was photographed by Rogers, but more moving than the birth itself was Hunter's emotional reaction to holding his daughter.

"This is a story about a mom and a dad who went through loss and persistence to get their baby," Rogers captioned the stunning photo of Hunter holding his daughter on her Facebook page. "That tattoo on his chest was done after their first miscarriage, and now his daughter lies her sweet head against it. Both of them a reminder of triumph."

Rogers shared with POPSUGAR Moms her feelings during this emotional birth:

I knew [the couple] would be overcome with joy and relief the minute their baby girl was in their arms. I was anticipating it. They were very connected during the birth. Dad was very affectionate towards his wife. I loved every minute I spent with them. To be in the presence of such a supportive partner and strong woman (her labor lasted 40 hours!) was such an honor. I admit that I got choked up a few times as they expressed their feelings about finally having their rainbow baby. This work is so fulfilling.

The sweet dad's expression brought us to tears before we even learned of the couple's experiences leading up to that moment - it's a completely chill-inducing and gorgeous photo that we're sure the Maddens will cherish forever. Hangover Helper: This Potato Chip Omelet

You have a chef's permission to fold potato chips into your omelet. Allow me to explain: Chef José Andrés pulled out this showstopping hack while at BottleRock this weekend. After playing air bass with a Jamón ibérico alongside the bassists of Metallica and Green Day, the chef toweled off and turned his attention to the cooking demo. Being the clever guy that he is, he reinvented tortilla española (a Spanish omelet made by tossing boiled potatoes in the eggs before cooking like a crustless quiche) for a modern crowd. Instead of boiled potato, the chef crumbled potato chips into the eggs before cooking! Talk about a hangover helper.

If you're trying this hack out at home, whisk the eggs until frothy, then add more potato chips than you think is a good idea before proceeding to cook the mixture like an omelet over the stove top. If you have mad flipping skills like José, toss the omelet high in the air and flip it flat on the other side before serving. Otherwise, do as us mere mortals and fold it in half. Before diving in, José sliced an abundant amount of Jamón ibérico on top, but I'm thinking crumbled bacon and some shredded cheese would do just fine.
