Carrie Underwood Says Husband Mike Fisher Is the "Only Fish in the C" For Her
Carrie Underwood just can't stop singing Mike Fisher's praises. After showing her unwavering support for her husband's hockey team, the country singer wished him a happy 37th birthday complete with a ridiculously corny joke. "Happy birthday to this handsome hunk! I'll never forget the day he told me he was asked to wear the 'C.'" she wrote alongside a photo of Mike, holding up his captain's jersey for the Nashville Predators. "I was so proud on that day and I'm even more proud now to see him play in the #StanleyCupFinals. He's definitely the only FISH in the "C" for me! 💙💛🐟💛💙🐟💙💛" Get it? Fish-er. These two are so adorable.
Could Tarek El Moussa Be the Next Bachelor? He's Definitely Into the Idea
Following his dramatic split from Christina El Moussa in 2016, Tarek El Moussa is trying to keep his personal life simple as a self-proclaimed "single guy loving life." In a recent interview on E! News' Daily Pop, the Flip or Flop host opened up about dating, coparenting, and The Bachelor.
When asked about his so-called "new life," Tarek said, "The biggest thing I'm doing is half of the time is spending time with my kids and the other half is traveling. I'm going out to dinners. I'm meeting new friends." He also explained, "I've never really been single before, believe it or not, so it's a whole new life and I'm having a lot of fun. I'm just a free spirit. I'm happy. I love going on dates. I like meeting girls. I'm just enjoying it."
That being said, fatherhood is still his top priority. Tarek said, "I'm a dad half the time, I'm a single guy half the time, so I have at this point in my life the best of both worlds after the separation," adding, "Being a dad is number one."
Though Tarek said he's opposed to using a dating app, he isn't ruling out dating shows. When asked if he would ever be on The Bachelor, Tarek said, "I would be open to that. I would absolutely be open to that."
In another moment, he clarified, "I'm open for dating shows. I'm ready to date and be healthy. I mean, the last three years have really kicked my butt: cancer, cancer, back, 50-pound weight swing. I'm finally in a place where I'm healthy, happy, and I'm ready to move forward." Your move, ABC.
14 Target Employee Secrets That Will Surprise You
Customers pretty much universally agree that Target is amazing. No matter how many promises we make ourselves about keeping the bill under $100 when we walk in, we all know we're walking about with more than what we came in for. But what's it really like to work at Target? A member of the sales floor team as well as a cashier at Target did IamAs on Reddit and revealed some pretty interesting things about working at your favorite store. From couch-stealing customers to lube-loving elderly couples, these answers will shock (and inform) you.
1. How many pairs of khakis do you have?
"Legit like five pairs, you can't have enough khakis. Makes me really appreciate my days off where I don't have to dress like Jake from State Farm."
2. Most big corporate stores have some cool perks for employees or some secret that you don't find out about until you work for them. Do you have any to share?
"I can't share much, but there are a few secrets. We have an entire store for employees online and we can buy a bunch of stuff."
3. Craziest thing you've seen from a customer?
"Full on throwing something at another employee when they were returning the item," said one Reddit user. Another user added the most interesting customer exchange was with "the elderly couple who purchased six bottles of Trojan lube and asked me if I had used it/if it worked."
4. What's the craziest thing someone has tried to steal?
"A full-sized couch. I don't know why they thought they'd be able to or what was going through their head."
5. What's the weirdest question you've gotten while working?
"In my experience, I've gotten either really weird questions or really obvious ones. Obvious ones such as, 'do you sell books?'. Anyways, the weirdest question I've ever been asked, would definitely have to be the time a customer approached me asking for a separator to organize screws and nails (like a small tray split into cubes that can be placed within a toolbox). Not so much the item, but the guests next question: He wanted one that was labeled with the day of the weeks for his medicine. I told him we had smaller organizers for medicine at the front of the store (cause when he had first asked, it was for organizing screws and nails so we were in the back by home improvement). He said he didn't want those but wanted the ones for screws and nails but wanted them to have the days of the week on there. Honestly the weirdest request I've ever had."
6. What's the best way to save with Cartwheel, are there other coupons you've seen that can also be applied?
"Here's the best way to save:
- Gift cards, buy the items that give you $5 or $10 gift card when you purchase x amount of the item. The gift cards add up.
- Get the RedCard. Yeah, it's a pain, but we have Debit and Prepaid options on top of the credit option and it's 5 percent on top of coupons you have.
- Cut manufacturer coupons. They add up too.
- Check Target's coupon site.
- As far as Cartwheel goes, check it daily. There's constantly new deals popping up and they're always awesome."
7. What's the strangest thing you've ever witnessed a customer doing while you were on the job?
"I'm pretty sure I watched a guy get a handjob in our cafe."
8. What's a "zoning the floor"? Mopping up spills?
"This literally just means pushing everything on the shelves to the front, making everything look neat and orderly. Making sure items are in the right spot. You won't believe the amount of times someone will look at something, and just put it a shelf above or below its original spot. Or the special times when you find someone dumped their whole cart on the shelf because they didn't feel like buying what they had anymore."
9. How does assisting guests work?
"Target has a call for help button in every section of the store, a simple phone or button that sends an alert out the whole team (via walkies) that a button has been activated in said area. We have 60 seconds to respond to that button call, go to the phone/button and press a small switch to turn the alert off. They literally advise you to run and not miss the button, or else the entire store will get chewed out. So whatever you're doing, especially on slower days where I'm one of the few sales floor team members, you gotta drop it and run to that section or else."
10. Did you know that Target has a top-rated forensic services laboratory?
"Actually, not at all! Holy crap this seems really cool, and definitely something I would've never expected Target to do and be doing."
11. Is Target decent to its employees?
"In terms of Target Corporate, yes they're very fair with every and all applicants and team members. When you start working for them, everything is explained and they don't rail you for not catching on right away.
Your experience with your bosses (team leaders) is something I can't tell you. Most of my team leaders are very calm and understanding, but every once and a while, if one of them is in a bad mood it can have a negative impact on your day. Your day to day enjoyment is going to come down to the personalities of your team leaders."
12. Many years ago my little sister took a number two in the middle of an aisle at target. My mother was so embarrassed that she immediately stopped shopping and left the store. How often does sh*t happen?
"I can't say I've actually had to deal with bodily fluids on the sales floor before, thankfully. People spilling their drinks and breaking items and just walking away happens all the time, it's kind of scary really. I mean I understand if you accidentally broke some glass, but it would be 10 times better if you just notified someone so nobody gets hurt."
13. I bet you sometimes have unpleasant/demanding/angry customers. Have you got a habit to deal with stress/fear?
"Honestly I try my best to stay calm and not let my emotions get the best of me. Some guests are so rude and upset that they don't realize, 99 percent of the time, the problem isn't something that I could have or could ever control (sales ending, rainchecks, prices, out of stock items) and it just drives me wild."
14. In what ways has retail made you lose faith in humanity?
"How rude people can be. I have people who won't even respond to me when I ask them how they're doing, like they're too good for me."

The 1 Genius Decorating Tip Everyone Should Steal from RHOC's Heather Dubrow
Real Housewives of Orange County star Heather Dubrow's palatial mansion is filled with many over-the-top design elements that are far from feasible for the ordinary gal; her floating onyx bar, massive closet complete with it's own champagne door bell (we kid you not), and movie theater come to mind. And while we can only gape at those pricey features, Heather does have one elegant design ritual dwellers on any budget can get behind: she fills her entryway with a new display of fresh flowers each week. The fragrant seasonal blossoms set a welcoming tone, while the constantly rotating displays help prevent her home design from becoming stale.
In typical Heather fashion, her the flowers are from a swanky delivery service and are opulent enough to decorate the head table at a black-tie wedding - but you need only swap in a new simple grocery store bouquet every week to achieve the same results. You can even create depth to the look by breaking up the bouquet into multiple vessels arranged at different heights, like Heather does.
Check out the Bravo! star's stunning floral displays ahead. And remember, no matter how much you pay for your blooms or how you arrange them, the key is to make bringing them into your home a habit that you do consistently.

6 Perfume Memes All Latinas Will Understand Oh So Well
I grew up with a mom who has a wall (a wall!) of perfumes. She had everything from sultry Gucci Guilty to airy Lancome Miracle, and so many more. When I got older and I was still living at home, I started adding to the wall, too. Glow by J Lo was the first perfume I got when I was in middle school - I remember using it religiously until I was in high school. Then, I slowly started using some of my mom's favorites and realized that we have complete opposite tastes in perfume (I'm more of a Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb kind of girl, while she's a Dior J'Adore one), but even with very different tastes, we both love and never skip a spritz of scent before leaving the house.
Chances are your mom and grandma also had more than a few signature scents. From our experience, perfume plays a big part in many Latinas' lives, which is why the memes ahead will make you nod and bring back some memories.
How a Moving Fan Letter Finally Convinced Me to Come Out of the Closet
Daniel Franzese is an actor and stand-up comic who has appeared on HBO's Looking and in films including Mean Girls and Bully.
When I was in the closet, I never thought I would see a day my parents would accept me, 100 percent, for who I was. Now, my dad can't wait for my wedding, and my mom has been the guest of honor on Pride floats with me more than once! I really underestimated them.
I think the lack of gay representation in TV and film when I was growing up was probably the culprit. I watched a lot of TV - even if it was a show I didn't watch, I would make sure to at least watch one episode, sometimes flipping between channels to do so. I was scanning the programs looking for someone like me. Winners of contests and kid game shows, young actors on sitcoms, even adult versions of myself. But it seemed that characters like me were either bullies or being bullied. I didn't really see anyone who appeared to be gay, or big, portrayed as anything else. And that wasn't how I saw myself.
I was 26 when I landed the role of Damian in Mean Girls. I was out to myself, but too scared to say out loud that I was gay to anyone in the entertainment industry. The entire time I was making that film, I was conflicted about who I was, and how I felt. At this point in my career I had heard the advice to keep my sexuality private. "Private" didn't sound like such a bad word. It put a cool spin on not telling the truth. Lying, even. Denying.
In 2014, on the 10th anniversary of Mean Girls, a fan wrote me a two-page letter that began with: "I don't know if you are gay or not, but it doesn't matter, but you playing Damian changed my life. I went from a chubby, queer, sissy kid who was made fun of in 8th grade, to becoming a college freshman who the senior girls came up to in the lunchroom on the first day and said 'You're like Damian, come sit with us.'" He went on to thank me for his popularity. How much of a difference that could have made me for me if I had had someone to identify with on screen. It made me realize how profound that was, so I came out of the closet in a letter to my character Damian.
Shortly after, when I was filming HBO's Looking, I went to the premiere at the legendary Castro Theater in San Francisco. I spent the day before outside Harvey Milk's old office, now the home of the Human Rights Campaign, where the cheers, footsteps and tears of my LGBTQ ancestors could be seen and heard in the wind, sky and pavement. I stood as myself, playing an HIV-positive gay character on a major cable network. I felt authentic and at home, and knew that every time one of us folks who don't fit the mold appears on screen, it's a victory. It's a new character, and a new story, and a new life to teach us lessons about people who have stories that matter but so seldom get heard.
Standing right in front of the steps of Harvey Milk's photo shop, I felt more inspired than ever before. I became an ambassador for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. I have lobbied Capitol Hill three times with Ms. Taylor's incredible family. I am also an ambassador for LAMBDA Legal and a friend to many other LGBTQ organizations. I realized I have a voice. I have seen great triumphs like marriage equality, alongside unforgivable attacks on us, like the horrific shooting at Pulse in Orlando. I got engaged to be married to the love of my life, and I started really pursuing stand-up a gift I have had for a long time, but was afraid to use because I kept myself "private." Now I do stand-up comedy proudly and openly and authentically. I live my life unapologetically happy and free and honestly. The moment I felt proudest to be LGBTQ is right now - and every day.

7 Causes That Were Near and Dear to Princess Diana's Heart
Princess Diana was known for her impeccable sense of style and flawless beauty, but she is best remembered for her heart of gold. Diana spoke out on a wide range of issues close to her heart - including HIV/AIDS, leprosy, and cancer - and used her global influence to raise awareness as well as funds. She regularly visited hospitals, schools, and fundraising galas and even took trips to Angola, India, and Pakistan, touching the lives of many wherever she went. While Diana is no longer around, her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, have carried on her legacy by championing some the same charities and causes as their mother and carrying on her traditions in their personal lives.
Trump's Tweets Seem Even More Unhinged When Presented as Press Statements
In the five months following his inauguration, President Donald Trump's impulsive tweets have become somewhat commonplace. A new Twitter account, however, is attempting to illustrate just how unprofessional they are by simply copying and pasting the president's latest tweets into the official, presidential statement format.
The idea for the account was inspired by former White House staffer Pat Cunnane. On June 4, he tweeted, "For context - because he's President - all of Trump's Tweets should be mocked up in the correct Presidential statement format. It's telling." That same day, coder Russel Neiss executed the idea by creating a Twitter account named Real Press Sec.
The result is deeply upsetting. For example, the president's recent tweet criticizing London Mayor Sadiq Khan appears even more disrespectful as a press statement. And his recent tweet addressed to Fox & Friends, using all caps and an exclamation point, looks even more juvenile.

Since its creation on June 4, the account has amassed nearly 50,000 followers. Though there are currently only nine tweets, the account promises to check Trump's account every five minutes for new tweets. Based on his social media habits, we can expect plenty more updates from this new account in the near future.
Princess Diana's Most Captivating Moments With Kids
Princess Diana shared numerous sweet moments with her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, before her death in August 1997, but she had just as many heartwarming encounters with kids during her royal appearances across the globe. As part of her extensive charity work, the royal, who was a kindergarten teacher before marrying Prince Charles, had no qualms cuddling up to young children as she visited hospitals, schools, and orphanages. She would even get down on their level as they offered her gifts or flowers, much like her daughter-in-law, Kate Middleton, does when she interacts with her smallest fans. Not only have William and Harry carried on Diana's legacy for helping others, but they also share her love for children.
Your Simple Shoes Are Not on Par With Princess Beatrice's Embroidered Loafers
One could say Princess Beatrice's style is pretty much at the same level as Kate Middleton's. Aside from her love of cocktail dresses and statement-making fascinators, Princess Beatrice apparently also has a knack for choosing amazing shoes.
While at an award ceremony in London, Beatrice wore a blue wrap dress and a pair of silver loafers. At first glance, her shoes may look like just an ordinary pair of loafers. But when you look a little closer, you'll realize that her footwear comes embroidered with the phrase "No Place Like Home" across the front. Dad's Crushing Warning About the Common Household Item That Killed His Toddler
Through a stream of hot tears, George Asan speaks out about the common household item that killed his daughter: a button battery.
Although 2-year-old Francesca didn't choke on the small battery and die from lack of oxygen, George wants parents to know that this is exactly why these items are even more dangerous than many realize. After Francesca swallowed the button battery without her parents knowing, it started to corrode as soon as it came into contact with fluid internally. This caused internal bleeding as the battery burned the child.
"It is very hard for me to talk about losing Francesca. I feel guilty. Unfortunately, we didn't see anything wrong, no signs," George said in a clip made with Child Accident Prevention Trust to warn other parents. "We found that it was a button battery and straight away I went to the cabinet and we had the 3D glasses for the TV. It was one of the spare batteries, in the original box of the glasses, which was in another box."
More than 3,400 kids swallowed button batteries in 2010, according to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, and symptoms could include sudden crying, drooling, decreased eating or drinking, hoarse voice, chest or abdominal pain, trouble swallowing, vomiting, and blood in saliva and stool.
George hopes that parents share this film to raise awareness for not only how dangerous these button batteries are but also how common they are throughout the home. From musical greeting cards and toys to thermometers and key fobs, a range of everyday items come with these batteries and, sometimes, spare batteries.
According to the CAPT, parents shouldn't wait to seek immediate medical assistance if they suspect their child ate one - even if the kid isn't choking or showing any signs of distress.
"If a button battery, particularly a lithium button battery, gets stuck in the throat or gullet, energy from the battery can react with saliva to make the body create caustic soda. This is the same chemical used to unblock drains," the CAPT website says. "This can burn a hole through the throat and can lead to serious internal bleeding and death. The reaction can happen in as little as two hours."
The CAPT warns that these batteries are also dangerous if they get stuck in a child's nose or ear, but the lack of symptoms after a child swallows it can make this even more dangerous. "Unfortunately it may not be obvious that a button battery is stuck in a child's throat. There are no specific symptoms associated with this," the website said. "They may appear to have a stomach upset or a virus. The lack of clear symptoms means it may not be obvious that your child has swallowed a button battery until it's too late. This is why it is important to be vigilant with spare button batteries in the home and the products that contain them."
These are tips to follow if you think that your child swallowed a button battery:
- Seek immediate medical help.
- Bring the packaging if possible to help doctors identify what type of button battery was potentially ingested.
- Do not let them eat, drink, or try throwing it up.
- Do not try to wait it out to see if symptoms develop.
Stay Moisturized With This 3-Ingredient Coconut Oil Hand Soap
If you wash your hands as often as I do, having a soothing hand soap is a must. Along with treating skin right, a good soap needs to clean hands - and maybe smell good too. Most store-purchased soaps include lots of chemicals, additives, and unnecessary ingredients, so making your own might seem a bit daunting. But this mind-blowingly easy recipe includes three ingredients, comes together in minutes, and hardly costs anything to make.
What You'll Need:
- Grater
- Medium mixing bowl
- 2 ounces shaved soap
- 4 cups boiling water
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Whisk
- Essential oil (optional)
- Pump-top container
- Funnel (optional)
Directions:
- Grate around one-half bar of soap, or mix together different scented soaps, until you have around two ounces or one quarter cup total. It's a great way to use ends of soaps - or minibars from your travels. We used a combination of castile and a French milk soap. Place the gratings in a mixing bowl.
- Top with the coconut oil, which adds a nice soothing aspect to the hand soap, and cover with the boiling water. Gently mix until the soap has dissolved.
- Let the mix come to room temperature, and then lightly whisk. The soap will thicken as it cools, creating a really nice liquid hand soap. You can add 10 to 20 drops of your favorite essential oil or leave as is. Pour into a pump-topped container using a funnel as needed.
Makes around 32 ounces of liquid hand soap.

I Planned My Daughter's Entire Birthday For Her, and She Totally Loved It!
My daughter's sixth birthday was months away, but I was already stressed about it, probably because of the stack of birthday party invitations from her kindergarten buddies looming on our kitchen counter. Gymnastics parties, play-space parties, bowling parties, makeover parties, bounce-house parties . . . she already had them all on her social calendar, and to me, shelling out hundreds of dollars to schedule a repeat of a party she'd just attended felt at a minimum less than special and, when I really thought about, just plain silly.
So I started brainstorming alternatives. One of my friends had thrown an awesome '80s party for her 7-year-old daughter at home (my husband and I also attended in full costume), but the idea of dozens of 5- to 7-year-old kids destroying my house was less than appealing, regardless of the dress-up opportunities it might provide me. And then, suddenly, I had a flashback to my own favorite childhood birthday parties, which didn't take place in my family's backyard or some random party space. For those parties, my mom took me on the road.
For about three years in a row, my mom let me invite a few of my best girlfriends to celebrate my birthday by driving about an hour south of our Midwestern college town to the closest big city. We checked into the Embassy Suites, which at the time I thought was the epitome of class thanks to its indoor pool, hot tub, glass-encased elevators, and complimentary buffet breakfast. We swam, went out to dinner at a gimmicky restaurant where each table featured a phone that allowed you to call other people's tables (we, of course, scanned the crowd for any and all preteen boys), and stayed up late making popcorn in our room's tiny microwave and giggling about whatever little girls giggle about.
Although my mom was the lone chaperone on these birthday excursions, I realized that I could make this idea a lot more fun for me (aka the adult footing the bill) by suggesting we invite two of my daughter's close friends along with their mothers, who also happen to be close friends of mine. My birthday girls' trip was quickly the cause of excitement for all six of us, each of us eager to escape the little brothers, dads, and husbands in our lives for 24 hours of good old-fashioned girl time.
Wine, swimsuits, and American Girl dolls were packed, and we headed into Chicago, where by sheer coincidence, I'd found the best hotel rate at an Embassy Suites, which wasn't quite as classy as I remembered but was a total hit with the little girls who spent much of our trip running laps around our floor overlooking the open atrium. We moms pretended to time them while drinking that wine we packed.
Of course, I'm not totally selfish. Most of our activities were all about the birthday girl. We spent three hours shopping and dining at the mega Michigan Avenue American Girl Place store, followed by a visit to Dylan's Candy Bar, where the girls stuffed plastic cupcakes with as many chocolate rocks and sour gummy bears as they possibly could, then worked off the sugar high in the hotel pool. After all that kid fun, I thought the moms deserved a slightly nicer dinner out, so we went to one of my B.K. (that's "before kids") favorite Italian restaurants, where the girls were fascinated by the bathroom attendant and the moms were grateful for a meal that didn't come with a side of ketchup.
The next morning we braved that breakfast buffet, then headed home. From the rear-view mirror, I watched my birthday girl sitting in our car's third row, admiring her American Girl birthday loot, giggling with her friends, and not-so-sneakily eating the remnants of her candy-filled cupcake, and I realized that we had created a memory far better than any bounce-house party ever could. And isn't that what a child's birthday is really all about?

5 Important Love Lessons All Women Need to Know (and Follow!)
While dating, it's easy to lose yourself and forget who you are in the process. You give so much to the other person, and eventually your identity as an individual starts to blend with theirs. And some who can't seem to catch a break in the realm of love begin to look inward and wonder if it has something to do with them. To maintain your sanity and self-worth in the midst of relationship trial and error, it's important to keep five lessons in mind. Here's what all women need to know and follow.
1. No one else is responsible for your happiness but yourself.
A partner can contribute to your happiness, but it's not their job. It all starts with you, and you can't put it on him or her to bring you joy. If you're unable to make yourself happy, how can you ever expect anyone else to? Rather than finding a partner for the sake of filling that void, establish a healthy relationship with yourself and you'll find more fulfillment in being alone.
2. Never tolerate anybody who doesn't treat you with respect.
Don't ever allow someone to put you down in any way or hurt you emotionally, mentally, or physically. You should be shown nothing but love and kindness, and anything below that is not to be accepted. Period.
3. Don't chase someone who doesn't see your worth.
Whoever can't understand how lucky they are to have you isn't worth your time or effort. You deserve nothing but the best, so don't settle for a partner who can't live up to that. It's not about being better than him or her, either; it's about being valued. Don't waste your energy on assh*les who don't understand that.
4. Never change who you are for somebody else.
Unless it's for the better, you shouldn't have to alter any of your beliefs, values, opinions, appearance, etc. to please a significant other. Clearly, they don't accept you for who you are and don't appreciate what they have in front of them. If they truly care about you, they'll love every single part of you, flaws and all.
5. You are enough.
Never let anybody convince you otherwise.

Cameron Diaz Cuddles Up to Benji Madden Before He Leaves For Tour
If there's one couple we wish we saw more of, it's Benji Madden and Cameron Diaz. The two stepped out for an adorable lunch date at Bouchon in Beverly Hills on Monday afternoon. Clad in a striped shirt and jeans, Cameron appeared to be in a good mood as she wrapped one of her arms around Benji and held on to a green juice drink with the other. Cameron has been keeping a low profile since the release of her Longevity Book last year, while the Good Charlotte rocker is getting ready to hit the road in a couple of days for the European leg of his tour with Pierce the Veil and Sleeping With Sirens.
It's unclear whether Cameron plans to join him, but one thing's for sure: Cameron is one proud wife. Back in July 2016, the actress couldn't help but gush about her husband on Instagram, writing, "One of my favorite things about being married, is how much pride I take in my husband @benjaminmadden... He makes me proud everyday.. One day it might be how generous and giving, another how gentle and thoughtful. Or when he is fiercely protective of the people he loves and cares about... And everyday single day I am so incredibly proud of his integrity as a human being." Aw!
The Biggest Financial Mistake Most American Couples Make
For whatever reason, talking about money still makes people more squeamish than talking about anything else - including sex. Yet the biggest mistake most couples will make is avoiding the topic of finances altogether.
According to LearnVest's Money Habits and Confessions Survey, less than half of Americans (44 percent) are comfortable discussing their personal finances with their significant other, and one in five Americans (20 percent) never have these serious conversations with their partner at all. The topic is so fraught, in fact, that 68 percent of Americans surveyed said that money is more a source of tension with their partner than their sex life. Thus, many people simply keep their partners in the dark about their money matters: nearly a third of (32 percent) don't know their partner's salary and 31 percent are unaware of how much their partner has in the bank.
True, money is a decidedly unsexy topic of conversation, and you might think talking about it isn't that integral to the health of a relationship, but in fact, bad financial habits can spell doom for an otherwise good romance. One in four Americans claim they have broken up with a significant other over money issues, while an impressive 58 percent would prefer to be single forever than be married to someone who was financially irresponsible.
Take a look a the infographic below and then find some time to talk money with your honey - the future of your relationship could depend on it!

The Irony of Ivanka Trump Expressing Support For the LGBTQ Community
On June 1, Ivanka Trump celebrated the start of Pride Month by expressing her support for the LGBTQ community on her Twitter account. "Logging back on after Shavuot, wishing everyone a joyful #Pride2017. This month we celebrate and honor the #LGBTQ community," Trump tweeted.

11 DIY Beauty Remedies Your Grandma Always Talked About That Actually Work
Every abuela has one: that wild concoction she whips up from ingredients in her kitchen and swears by every time you have a pimple, dry skin, unruly hair - you name it. As kids, most of us rolled our eyes and went along with it, but we've done a little digging, and it turns out maybe Grandma wasn't so crazy after all. Many of those beauty recipes actually work! Warning: do try these 11 practices at home for smooth skin and silky hair - or get these beauty buys that are also grandma-approved.
1. Using mayonnaise as a deep conditioner for healthy hair.
According to hairstylist Nathaniel Hawkins, this old-school method works because of the fat to protein ratio. "The oil softens the hair, making it shinier - and the protein in the eggs will make strands stronger." He recommends applying the treatment to dry hair, and leaving it on as a mask for 15-20 minutes. Shampoo twice, and condition afterwards. But, Hawkins notes, this treatment works best for hair that isn't fine or limp.
2. Dabbing nails in olive oil for a healthier look.
Nail expert Stephanie Stone debunked the myth (common in Dominican culture) that rubbing garlic on nails will make them strong (according to studies, it has no benefit). But, she says, applying olive oil (a popular DIY beauty ingredient in Puerto Rico) on nails and cuticles throughout the day is a great way to improve their health. "Keeping your hands and nails moisturized is key, especially if you're trying to repair damaged nail beds. I'd also recommend applying it lightly throughout the day instead of a full on soak. But consistency is key!"
3. Coconut oil as a body moisturizer.
"This one 100% works," says dermatologist (and Sofia Vergara's derm!) Dendy Engelman, M.D., of coconut oil for soft skin, a popular technique in many Latin American countries. "Coconut oil is mostly made up of saturated fats and medium-chain fatty acids, which help repair the skin barrier, trap water to hydrate skin, and also reduce inflammation. And recent studies show it's also a great treatment for eczema."
4. Adding honey to hair conditioner for softer tresses.
A custom common in Caribbean Latin America, honey is a natural moisturizer, which Hawkins says does work to help rehydrate your locks. And using unprocessed honey will give you an extra bonus: it's full of enzymes that will help create a healthy scalp and prevent dandruff.
5. Agua maravilla to fight blemishes.
Also known as witch hazel, this is common in many Latino families, especially from Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds. Engelman says it works because the mixture contains anti-inflammatory, astringent, and antibacterial properties. Engelman also recommends Dickinson's Original Witch Hazel Refreshingly Clean Towelettes ($6) to control blemishes and calm bug bites.
6. Washing hair with Coca-Cola for shine.
This is a long-time favorite technique among not just Latino families, but celebrities like Suki Waterhouse. Hairstylist Nunzio Saviano gives this traditional trick the thumbs up: "The acidity closes the hair cuticle, which makes it look healthy and shiny. But be careful: the sugar can leave your hair sticky, so you might need to rinse it out quickly. Apple cider vinegar is an alternative that might not be as messy!"
7. Beach sand as a skin exfoliant.
"Sand is essentially finely granulated rocks, so it's perfect to remove excess dry skin cells," Engelman says. "But because it's so abrasive, I'd only recommend you use it to exfoliate feet. It might be too harsh for other parts of your body."
8. Manzanilla grisi shampoo to lighten hair.
Saviano says that this traditionally Mexican and South American product - which contains Flor de Manzanilla and claims to both wash and lighten hair - does work, but he would use it sparingly. "This will maintain your tone and even lighten it at times, but if you use it too much, your color might become dull or even fade."
9. Grape skin paste for glowing skin.
Grapes are a gold mine, says Engelman. "They'll have a brightening effect over time because they contain vitamins B6, C, and A, and minerals like potassium, magnesium, selenium, and flavonoids, which act as antioxidants and remove toxins from the skin."
10. Sugar and lemon juice as an antiaging exfoliant.
According to Engelman, the sugar crystals act as an exfoliator, sloughing away dead skin, while the lemon juice helps peel away dead skin cells because of their content of alpha hydroxy acid (which is found in many antiaging treatments). Exfoliating is important, Engelman says, "because as we age, our skin doesn't shed as effectively. Plus, getting rid of dead cells helps your moisturizers penetrate better."
11. Avocado for healthy cuticles.
"Actually, rubbing avocado oil on cuticles is more effective than actual avocado," says Stone. But good news for avocado lovers: "Avocados in a healthy, balanced diet will help you see overall improvement in your hair, skin, and nails, too." Bring on the guacamole!

17 Reasons I Am an Eternal Slave to My Long Hair
You all know the hashtag #LongHairDontCare. Well, for me, the saying is so much more than a fun rhyme to say and tweet - it's a life motto. There was a time in my life when my mane was just another thing to experiment with, as inconsequential as painting your toenails a different color every week. However, as I grew older, it became startlingly clear that my hair is not a plaything, but more like another limb - as consequential as trimming your arm for a "new look"!
I've generally had long hair throughout my whole life. There were a few periods here and there when I decided to switch it up, fleeting moments of curiosity that were immediately followed by deep regret. My senior year of high school - a very important year in one's life - I cut it so short that my shoulders would get breezy. Believe me, that was the least of my agony. The worst was feeling like a human mushroom for at least four months of my life.
Then there was that time during my punk phase when I tried out the rock 'n' roll mullet. Hey, Scarlett Johansson made the same mistake once, so I'm in good company. And just like any momentous life lesson, a mullet taught me to never go down that road ever again.
But then, just two years ago, I did it again. I felt the urge to subject myself to that rotating chair and have some grown man with better eyebrows than me chop it off. This time, it was only a few inches, and afterward, my length was still technically considered medium-long, but I still felt that excruciating pang of regret, and that's when it was solidified. I have to have long hair. And I mean a mermaid mane that goes way past my chest, Miley Cyrus's look from her "Party in the U.S.A" days.
I don't care if it's 104 degrees and humid out. I don't care that my strands regularly get caught on things - dress zippers, random cracks in the wall, underneath my purse straps. I don't care that it takes an inordinate amount of time to dry. I don't care that having the same hairstyle is undeniably boring. I am a slave to my long locks, and I will do whatever it takes to make my master happy.
On the upside, having long hair has its benefits. Here are 17 reasons why I'll always live by #LongHairDontCare.

8 Features on iOS 11 That'll Make You Wish It Was Out Already
At Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 5, the company unveiled a series of new software and product updates. In addition to the new macOS High Sierra, watchOS 4, and tvOS 11, Apple introduced iOS 11. The latest iOS system will come with the following new features:
- Pay your friends back with Apple Pay: Send money to your friends and family via Apple Pay in an iMessage.
- Control Center has a new look: Instead of swiping back and forth to access your music and other features, all of the controls are now on one screen.
- Siri is getting better: The voices will sound a bit more human and Siri will be able to translate English instantly into Chinese, Spanish, French, German, and Italian.
- Do Not Disturb is coming for drivers: You can now turn on do not disturb if you're driving. Now, if someone contacts you and this feature is on, they'll receive a message that you're driving. As a driver, you won't even get a notification, so that you're fully concentrated on the road. However, you can list certain people who can reply with "urgent" to get through to you.
- The camera is getting better again: If you love portrait mode on the iPhone 7 Plus, you'll now be able to take low-light portraits with iOS 11.
- Do more with your photos: The memories featured in Photos will now use machine learning to identify specific events or figures like a wedding or a pet. You can also create movies out of photos taken in portrait mode, as well as trim live photos or add a long exposure, seamless loop, or bounce effect to one.
- Use Apple Music with your friends: "Shared Up Next," lets your friends add music to a playlist without interrupting the current song. The Apple Music app will also show what your friends are listening to.
- Maps has some needed updates: The Maps app will now include detailed floor plans for malls and airports in major cities, as well as show you your speed limit and give you lane guidance.
Ahead, see some photos of the new features.
