Natalie Portman Just Snagged a $6.5M Home Perfect For Her Growing Family

A little more than three months after giving birth to their second child, Natalie Portman and her husband just purchased a lovely home for their blossoming family. An oasis hidden in the hills of Santa Barbara, CA, the modern residence boasts four bedrooms and five bathrooms, TMZ reports. A mix of steel, concrete, and glass, Natalie's contemporary new home also features a pool and patio complete with a large fire pit. Situated on 10.4 acres of land with stunning panoramic views, there's plenty of room for her kids to enjoy outdoor playtime and fun in the sun.

Though the seller reportedly wanted $6.995 million for the abode, Natalie only shelled out $6.5 million for it (and we say "only" with a grain of salt). Scroll on for a peek at Natalie's gorgeous new house.

12 Insanely Relatable Cartoons About Life as a New Mom

So much happens in those first few weeks as a new mom that you often find yourself saying, "Why didn't anyone tell me it'd be like this?!" The truth is, even with all the warnings, there's just no way to truly prepare someone for parenthood. No one knows that better than Corinne de Vries and Ingebritt her Veld, two Dutch women who became first-time moms around the same time.

Corinne, a blogger, and Ingebritt, an illustrator, decided to team up to create cartoons that encapsulated the oh-so-relatable "things only moms know" - from pooping during delivery to being relieved that the baby spit up on you . . . not the bedspread.

With the series, the two creative parents hope to "depict the reality of motherhood, with all the - sometimes literally - painful, funny, and loving moments."

The Horrifying Memes That Forced Harvard to Revoke Several Acceptance Offers

Harvard College (part of Harvard University) revoked acceptance offers for a group of prospective undergraduate students after a lewd messaging group was discovered. According to The Harvard Crimson, about 10 students were found responsible for creating and participating in a Facebook messaging group titled "Harvard memes for horny bourgeois teens."

As the group began to grow in membership, administrators became aware of its existence in the Spring. That's when they contacted members of the group and asked them to show them the content that had been previously shared; what they found was deeply concerning.

According to incoming freshman Jessica Zhang, collegiate messaging groups like these tend to be much more lighthearted. "A lot of students were excited about forming group chats with people who shared similar interests." Zhang then joined the troublesome subgroup after "someone posted about starting a chat for people who liked memes."

In that group, the content was much darker. It's been reported that many of the memes shared in the group touched on sexual assault, child abuse, and the Holocaust. A particularly horrifying meme referred to the hanging of a Mexican child as "piñata time."

Many of the active participants in the group received a letter from the admissions office advising them that their statuses were under review. The letter read, "The Admissions Committee was disappointed to learn that several students in a private group chat for the Class of 2021 were sending messages that contained offensive messages and graphics . . . We are asking that you submit a statement by tomorrow at noon to explain your contributions and actions for discussion with the Admissions Committee."

Members of the group who did not participate or share memes did not receive the letter. Among them is Zhang, who said she understands the administration's decision. "I appreciate humor, but there are so many topics that just should not be joked about. I respect the decision of the admissions officers to rescind the offers because those actions really spoke about the students' true characters," she said. "I do not know how those offensive images could be defended."

Add Some Disney Magic to Your Princess-Worthy Hair With These Cute Clips

Disney devotees are about to fall in love with the hair clips they've been wishing upon a star for. Thanks to gift store Box Lunch, fans of Mickey and Minnie Mouse can now wear the pair in their hair.

The two magical packs come clipped on cute Mickey- and Minnie Mouse-shaped packaging and include a set for each mouse. The Mickey Mouse set includes two head-shaped barrettes in gold and black, and the Minnie set includes an outline of the mouse's iconic bows in rose and yellow gold.

These hair clips would be an adorable addition to a half-up hairstyle or used to pin your bangs to one side. They're a subtle way to show your love of Disney's first couple while adding style to your princess-worthy locks.

How the 13 Reasons Why Cast Reacted to the Show's Suicide Scene Controversy

It's been a while since 13 Reasons Why premiered on Netflix, but people just can't seem to stop discussing one of the drama's most graphic, controversial scenes. The show follows quiet high school student Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) after he receives a box of 13 cassette tapes from Hannah (Katherine Langford), his classmate and crush who killed herself a few weeks earlier. The writers and production team specifically didn't want to shy away from showing how Hannah kills herself, and a later scene in the series depicts the moment she graphically slits her wrists in a bathtub. Writer Nic Sheff wrote an op-ed defending the scene back in April, and on June 2, a few other important people from the show discussed their reactions to the controversy surrounding it at Netflix's 13 Reasons Why FYSee event.

"You always want to make a show that connects and I think we knew we were making a show we felt we were onto something with the show we were creating," executive producer and director Tom McCarthy explained to E! News. "You can never anticipate a response, especially with the young adult viewers . . . I don't know if controversy is the right word . . . it's a debate, it's a conversation and there are [people] on both sides who have very strong reactions to it, and I think that's exciting." He further added that the decision to show Hannah's death in that way was the result of a lot of back and forth, and they didn't approach it lightly. "You know they're going to live on, as this one has, but I feel as a company we felt this was the best way to go at it," he said. "To not shy away, and to really present it as it is. That came through a lot of discussion and serious thought and I think we all stand by it."

Langford, the 21-year-old Australian actress and Hollywood newcomer who knocked it out of the park with her first role, approached playing her character very seriously. On top of working with a psychiatrist, she also met with Rebecca Kaplan, the director of It's On Us, an organization dedicated to ending sexual assault. "I think by that point I had been playing Hannah for six months," she said of filming the contentious scene. "It was definitely something that we had precursors to . . . throughout the course of the season. I think part of it was just kind of having a backstory for Hannah and kind of having vicariously living through the events she's been through."

Minnette, her costar, admitted that he expected the controversy, but thought it would erupt far sooner than it did. "I thought it was going to come even quicker because I don't think people are used for this being addressed to their faces like this, so full on," he told E! News. "I knew it was going to come, and I think a lot of it has been for the better because it's only started more conversations."

Regardless of how you feel about the scene personally, there's no denying that its inclusion in 13 Reasons Why has sparked an important dialogue and touched many fans of the show. With a second season of the Netflix hit on the way, hopefully we can all look forward to similarly nuanced storytelling and honest depictions of the struggles teenagers face daily.

Amal Clooney Waited 6 Months to Decorate Her Nursery For Good Reason

George and Amal Clooney are less than a month away from the arrival of their twins. While we already know the happy couple will be welcoming home a boy and a girl, thanks to a slip up by George Clooney's mom, we're only just now learning more details about the twins' nursery. According to sources over at E!, George and Amal waited six months before decorating their babies' room because "they didn't want to rush or jinx things."

The couple, who recently built a panic room in their 17th century English manor, reportedly sought out London-based interior designer Ilse Crawford to help make their dream nursery come true. The Clooneys were reportedly very hands-on with the decorating process, even selecting many of the nursery decor pieces themselves. According to the E! report, a few of the nursery items were purchased at Baudou, a boutique in Paris. We can't wait to get a sneak peek at the nursery, but until then, these stunning photos of their new Manhattan apartment will have to hold us over.

George Clooney Admits He "Chased" Amal For "Many Months" After They First Met

George Clooney was once one of Hollywood's hottest bachelors, who swore he would never get married again (he was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993). That is, until Amal Alamuddin (now Amal Clooney) came along. George first laid eyes on the human rights attorney at his home in Lake Como, Italy, in 2013. During a previous appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman, the 55-year-old actor revealed, "We met in Lake Como. She was a friend of a friend who came to visit and then I chased her for many months, calling and writing, those kinds of things." George also admitted to Ellen DeGeneres that "from the minute we met, we just sort of felt like we were going to be together."

He ended up proposing six months later, and even though he had it all planned out, it ended up being "one of those horrible moments," he told Ellen. "I plotted the whole thing out. I had the ring hidden behind her. I had music playing, my Aunt Rosemary's gonna sing 'Why Shouldn't I.' Everything was planned out . . . it was like 25 minutes. Finally I literally said, 'Look, I hope the answer's yes, but I need an answer 'cause I'm 52 and I could throw out my hip pretty soon.' And she said 'Oh, yes,' and it worked out really well."

Fast-forward a few months later and George and Amal are husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in Venice, Italy, in September 2014, and have been looking crazy in love ever since. In June 2017, they welcomed twins (a boy and a girl)! Maybe fairy tales do exist.

Orly’s New Collection Finally Makes It Possible For Muslims to Wear Nail Polish

Many Muslim men and women are not able to wear regular nail polish because it conflicts with prayer practices. The coats of polish are believed to create a barrier over the skin, which prevents water from touching every part of the body during ablutions, but Orly's new polish collection offers a solution. In an effort to bridge the diversity gap in the beauty world, the polish brand has teamed up with Muslim Girl to release a new collection of six halal-certified polishes, all of which let oxygen and moisture pass through the polish.

The Breathable line called #HalalPaint features adorably sassy polish names like Haram-Bae, The Perfect Amani-Cure, What the Fatima?, Ig-Noor the Haters, and more, named by MuslimGirl.com founder Amani Al-Khatahtbeh and the Muslim Girl team.

"This line is important because there are so many girls and young women who aren't represented in mainstream beauty," Azmia Magane, Muslim Girl chief of staff, said in a press release. "They either don't fit that definition or see things about them that are designed without them, instead of for them and by them. This is our way of bridging the gap."

And this collection is exactly that and more. While it created by Muslim women for Muslim women, all women (or men!) can wear it. In addition to the polishes being made of 100 percent halal ingredients, making them permitted under Islamic law, they are made with great ingredients - like argan oil, pro-vitamin B5, and vitamin C - to promote healthy nails.

"Many of us are the girls who could never find our names on a keychain, so we wanted to make sure we provided that experience through the collection," Al-Khatahtbeh said. This collection is an incredible way to acknowledge the diverse religions that also exist in the beauty world. Although the polishes were made for Muslim women, anyone can wear them!

The six-piece collection is available for preorder on halalpaint.com for $49 and will ship on July 1, 2017. Keep reading to see photos of the stunning colors.

This Secret Indian Hair-Growth Formula May Finally Give You a Mermaid Mane

Anyone who has unsuccessfully tried to get their hair to grow may roll their eyes at this video in which Prachi (the vlogger behind Super Wow Style) shares a family recipe for lengthier locks. Could a simple mix of natural ingredients really make hair grow up to 30-40 percent as Prachi claims? We were a bit skeptical, too, and while we have not tried this remedy, a look at Prachi's long shiny mane and reading the reviewers' testimonials is making us reconsider. Perhaps this is the holistic answer to getting the mermaid mane of your dreams. In fact, Prachi challenges viewers to take before and after images when they test the treatment.

"People ask, 'How does you hair grow?' and I give them the same answer," she says in the video. "I learned it from my mom, and she learned is from her mother. It's an old Indian secret."

To DIY it, you'll need: coconut oil, castor oil, vitamin E, aloe vera leaves, and two bowls (one small and one large). Start by cutting up the aloe vera leaves, and then scratch it with a knife or fork to scrape out more gel. Rub the leaf on your scalp and massage the aloe gel into your roots. Use your fingers to make sure it's all over your head.

Then, in a small bowl, combine one tablespoon of castor oil with 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil. Pierce the vitamin E capsule with needle, extract the oil, and add it to the formula. Place the small bowl with the three oils in a larger one containing hot water. Warning: do not place the oil directly on a fire (including a stove) or in microwaves, since it can catch fire immediately.

After five minutes, the hot oil should be ready. Use your fingertips to apply it onto your scalp. Lay down on a sofa or the like and gently massage it into your scalp for two to three minutes. "This is very important to increase blood circulation for hair growth," she explains.

Once you're done, weave your hair in tight braid and sleep on it. Wash you hair in the morning. According to Prachi, you will start seeing a difference in your hair length "very, very soon."

While she does not specify how often to do the treatment, reviewers offer their successful trials.

"I tried this method exactly as she explained to and it WORKED!" one commenter said. "My hair grew about 4 to 5 inches in about 3 months! I did it 2 x per week for a month. Then 1 x per week for the next 2 months. It made my hair so healthy and strong. Everyone kept commenting on how fast my hair grew and how long it is. Before I started my hair was bra strap length. Now it is to my hips! I don't have photos to post, because I seriously hate taking photos of myself since I have gained weight (next thing to work on) but I will consider it."

Another commenter said, "I watched your video and used these products! And it works like MAGIC. I don't know how but my hair grew in a week. I used it two times a week though aloe vera was not available! But castor oil is super! Hats off!"

A third remarked, "It's amazing . . . I've seen results in just 2 wash[es] . . . My hair [ha]s became more silky and the best part it made my hair 2.5 cm longer."

So, what do you think? Is this a hoax or the most genius hair hack ever?

How George Clooney's Thoughts on Marriage and Fatherhood Changed Once He Met Amal

Image Source: Getty / Mike Coppola

George Clooney may now be happily married to wife Amal and a father to two babies, but long before the human rights lawyer came along, George was one of Hollywood's hottest bachelors. The actor swore he would never get married again (he was married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 to 1993) and even said he didn't "have that gene that people have to replicate." Well, a whole lot has definitely changed since then. Take a walk down memory lane and look back at George's most memorable quotes about marriage and fatherhood.

Before Meeting Amal

  • On romantic relationships: "I've had some absolutely great relationships and some not so great relationships. I've been in some relationships where I've felt terribly alone. Just because you're with someone it doesn't mean you're incredibly happy and complete."
  • On why he never used to talk about marriage: "I don't talk about it because I don't think about it. I don't ever question other peoples' versions of how they live their lives or what they do."
  • On why he wasn't married with children: "I haven't had aspirations in that way, ever. I was married in 1989. I wasn't very good at it. I was quoted as saying I'll never get married again pretty much right after I got divorced and then I've never talked about it since."
  • On vowing to never get married again: "Marriage? Who knows? I've been married. It's not something I'm looking out for. Things could always change, but it's not a consideration right now. The truth is I'm really happy. The things that are a drag in my life are so outweighed by the things that are great. I have families that I spend my days with, and friends I spend my days with, and people I care very much about. I get to do what almost no one gets to do. My life's really good."
  • On having kids: "I think it's the most responsible thing you can do, to have kids. It's not something to be taken lightly. I don't have that gene that people have to replicate. But everything in my life has changed over time."

After Meeting Amal

  • On finding "the one": "I have someone who I can talk to about anything and someone who I care more about than I've cared about anybody."
  • On his marriage proposal: "I knew fairly quickly that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Amal (but) we had never talked about it so there wasn't like a 'Hey, maybe we should get married.' Literally, I dropped it on her. And she just kept saying, 'Oh my god,' and 'Wow' – completely unexpected. We just sat there and finally I said, 'Listen, I'm 52 and I've been on my knee now for about 28 minutes, so I gotta get an answer out of this or I'm going to throw a hip out. I might not be able to stand back up.'"
  • On being called a power couple: "I don't think of us as a power couple, because I don't know what that means. I would think a power couple is like, Bill and Hillary seems to be a power couple. I think we're just a couple with great interest in the human condition. I don't think of that as particularly powerful; I just think of it as our responsibility as people on the planet."
  • On Amal's pregnancy: "We are really happy and really excited. It's going to be an adventure. We've sort of embraced it all . . . with arms wide open."
  • On his and Amal's plan once their twins are born: "We have the chance to live between three countries: Italy, America, and England. But as soon as the children go to school, it'll be necessary to choose where to settle. In the meantime, we will continue to move according to our respective schedules."

11 Practical Tips For Saving Money on Your Summer Road Trip

There's nothing quite like a good old-fashioned Summer road trip. Piling in the car, turning up the tunes, and exploring hidden treasures in new cities - that's what Summer is made of. But when money is tight, it may seem like the sunroof-down, Instagram-worthy road trip of your dreams is out of reach. Fear not, frugal adventurer; we have your back with these tips for saving big bucks without sacrificing the fun.

1. Solidify a budget beforehand - and stick to it

Budgeting isn't too difficult; just allocate how much you're able to spend on things like food, entertainment, gas, and lodging, depending on how much you have saved up for the trip. The hard part is actually sticking to it, which can be hard when you get distracted by all the new experiences (aka all the different foods) you're encountering in each state. Plan out and document beforehand what your exact budget is, whether it be on a piece of paper or on a budgeting app.

2. Pack your own snacks for days on the road

This is where wholesale stores like Costco come into play. Stock up on portable snacks that don't require refrigeration, like granola bars, trail mix, or pretzels (or make your own snacks!). And don't forget to buy drinks, which are cheaper when bought in bulk.

3. Plan ahead to get the best hotel prices

If you're making your road-trip plans last minute, chances are you'll be stuck with hotel options that are slightly out of your price range. But if you plan a few months in advance, you'll be able to compare and see which days and locations are the most affordable. And on the note of affordable lodging, don't be afraid to try a motel or hostel, where you can typically squeeze more friends in one room, thus splitting up the final cost even more.

4. Look for hotels with complimentary breakfast

What's better than breakfast food? That's right . . . free breakfast food. Be sure to consider the free-breakfast factor when you're searching for hotels ahead of time. And always be sure to snag a few extra apples and muffins for the road before you check out! Getting your money's worth is the name of the game.

5. Get a gas app on your phone

Have you ever filled up your gas tank only to discover a cheaper station right down the road moments later? Phone apps like GasBuddy eliminate that pang of gas buyer's remorse by finding the cheapest gas station near you. It even plots the stations and their respective prices on a nifty map, so all the work is done for you. So long, overpriced fuel!

6. Know your route - and don't venture out from it too much

Part of the appeal of road trips is the open road and the sense of adventure that comes with it. Though it's probably tempting to stop off at every strange roadside attraction you pass on the interstate, sticking to a mapped-out route is important for saving money on gas.

7. Speaking of driving, do so strategically

This doesn't mean weaving in and out of traffic to make it from point A to point B the fastest. I'm talking about when you're doing the cruising. It's best to avoid rush-hour times (typically 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.) because that's when you're more likely to get trapped in gas-guzzling traffic. Stick to the middle of the day, and try not to plan your trip near major Summer holidays like July 4, because gas prices tend to skyrocket around then.

8. Bring on the friends

This one is a no-brainer - the more friends you bring along for the trip, the more you can divide up the costs of things like lodging, gas, and snacks. The more, the merrier!

9. Pick your activities wisely

Sure, it's tempting to do the most touristy, bucket-list-worthy things in each new city you visit. But unfortunately, those often aren't the most wallet-friendly options. Sometimes it's best to just get a cheap bottle of wine, sit in a local park, people-watch, and enjoy the company of your friends or family.

10. Take out cash from the bank before you leave

Chances are you'll come across a cool dive bar or local pizza restaurant that only accepts cash payments. Most ATMs or convenience stores charge a fee if you want to withdraw cash. Although the $2-$3 charge may seem minimal at first, those dollars sure do add up, and they could've been spent on more important things - like a tacky souvenir . . . or that bottle of wine.

11. Score major deals on sites like Groupon

A little online couponing never hurt anybody, especially when the deals are as great as Groupon's. Mooch off the hotel's WiFi to surf the web for great deals on local restaurants and attractions in every city you visit.

How George Clooney's Thoughts on Marriage and Fatherhood Changed Once He Met Amal

How a Moving Fan Letter Finally Convinced Me to Come Out of the Closet

Daniel Franzese is an actor and stand-up comic who has appeared on HBO's Looking and in films including Mean Girls and Bully.

When I was in the closet, I never thought I would see a day my parents would accept me, 100 percent, for who I was. Now, my dad can't wait for my wedding, and my mom has been the guest of honor on Pride floats with me more than once! I really underestimated them.

I think the lack of gay representation in TV and film when I was growing up was probably the culprit. I watched a lot of TV - even if it was a show I didn't watch, I would make sure to at least watch one episode, sometimes flipping between channels to do so. I was scanning the programs looking for someone like me. Winners of contests and kid game shows, young actors on sitcoms, even adult versions of myself. But it seemed that characters like me were either bullies or being bullied. I didn't really see anyone who appeared to be gay, or big, portrayed as anything else. And that wasn't how I saw myself.

I was 26 when I landed the role of Damian in Mean Girls. I was out to myself, but too scared to say out loud that I was gay to anyone in the entertainment industry. The entire time I was making that film, I was conflicted about who I was, and how I felt. At this point in my career I had heard the advice to keep my sexuality private. "Private" didn't sound like such a bad word. It put a cool spin on not telling the truth. Lying, even. Denying.

Daniel Franzese and his mom

In 2014, on the 10th anniversary of Mean Girls, a fan wrote me a two-page letter that began with: "I don't know if you are gay or not, but it doesn't matter, but you playing Damian changed my life. I went from a chubby, queer, sissy kid who was made fun of in 8th grade, to becoming a college freshman who the senior girls came up to in the lunchroom on the first day and said 'You're like Damian, come sit with us.'" He went on to thank me for his popularity. How much of a difference that could have made me for me if I had had someone to identify with on screen. It made me realize how profound that was, so I came out of the closet in a letter to my character Damian.

Shortly after, when I was filming HBO's Looking, I went to the premiere at the legendary Castro Theater in San Francisco. I spent the day before outside Harvey Milk's old office, now the home of the Human Rights Campaign, where the cheers, footsteps and tears of my LGBTQ ancestors could be seen and heard in the wind, sky and pavement. I stood as myself, playing an HIV-positive gay character on a major cable network. I felt authentic and at home, and knew that every time one of us folks who don't fit the mold appears on screen, it's a victory. It's a new character, and a new story, and a new life to teach us lessons about people who have stories that matter but so seldom get heard.

Standing right in front of the steps of Harvey Milk's photo shop, I felt more inspired than ever before. I became an ambassador for the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. I have lobbied Capitol Hill three times with Ms. Taylor's incredible family. I am also an ambassador for LAMBDA Legal and a friend to many other LGBTQ organizations. I realized I have a voice. I have seen great triumphs like marriage equality, alongside unforgivable attacks on us, like the horrific shooting at Pulse in Orlando. I got engaged to be married to the love of my life, and I started really pursuing stand-up a gift I have had for a long time, but was afraid to use because I kept myself "private." Now I do stand-up comedy proudly and openly and authentically. I live my life unapologetically happy and free and honestly. The moment I felt proudest to be LGBTQ is right now - and every day.

The 1 Thing You MUST Do Before Going on Vacation

I just got back from a two-week trip to Europe, and there was one huge factor to our months of planning that made the trip a success . . .

We asked our friends for advice.

Friends, family, co-workers - basically, we reached out to anyone we knew and trusted for recommendations on food, transportation, and activities. A couple of my co-workers even sent me a very helpful Google doc they had created for their past trips to Europe that I piggybacked on, swapping in my info for theirs and adding all the other recs so we had them in one, organized spot. Not to mention the trip itself was made possible thanks to a co-worker's tip on the best credit card rewards program. Our flights were almost completely paid for with miles.

Sure, we used Google, review sites like TripAdvisor, and POPSUGAR for some of our prep - like most of the places on my Harry Potter travel bucket list - but many of our favorite restaurants and destinations we wouldn't have experienced without those firsthand tips.

There was a hard-to-get-into restaurant in London we made reservations for ahead of time that was a highlight from the trip. Our hotel in Paris was in a stylish, convenient neighborhood close to public transit and the best crepe stand. There were lines we waited in because we were told it was worth it and it WAS. We bought tickets for tours and trains ahead of time online because we were advised they'd sell out. There was the Indian restaurant we went to twice, it was that good. All of these things contributed to a smooth trip with minimal posttrip regrets.

Not to say there aren't great articles out there for travelers - from packing tips to money-saving advice and destination ideas, we have loads of them right here! - but sometimes you need a trusted friend, who shares your same interests, taste, and priorities, to help find those gems in an unfamiliar place with countless options to choose from. When there's a bar on every corner, how do you know where the best cocktail is? What's the cutest, walkable neighborhood to stay in? Should you buy a bus pass or rent a car? Is the hop-on-hop-off bus tour worth it?

You don't want to unknowingly eat at their overpriced version of Denny's when there's an equally delicious spot off the beaten path. Or miss out on a must-see attraction because you didn't know it was closed on Sunday. So if you're going on a big trip, phone a friend; you'll be glad you did.

The Definitive Ranking of LaCroix Flavors

There's sparkling water, and then there's LaCroix, the nectar of gods. Boldly flavored but completely unsweetened, this Midwestern-flavored seltzer brand has captured the hearts of millennials and moms alike. With kitschy Miami Beach vibes, zesty flavors, and the whole no-guilt soda thing going for it, it's hardly surprising that this sparkling beverage has gained such a devoted following. It pains us to say this, but for all the hits - and there are many - there are some serious flavor flops as well. In other words, for every Pamplemousse, there's a Cran-Raspberry. Because I care, and at least partially because I wanted an excuse to try every single flavor, I've ranked all 20 flavors for you here. Without further ado, here's our the definitive ranking of LaCroix flavors.

9 Ways to Get Alcohol For Free on a Plane

Getting free alcohol on flights is sort of my thing. Don't judge me (or do - I'll still be sipping away the next time I fly), but I quite enjoy a drink on a long flight. Or two. Or . . . well, anyway. The point is, as a frequent flier who takes red-eyes, international flights, and flights from the West Coast to East Coast often, I've got a system for getting my drink on (responsibly, of course) while not spending all that much money on the pricey airplane alcohol. I could be selfish and guard these secrets with my life, but what's the fun in drinking alone? Cheers to your next flight, hopefully one where free booze flows thanks to these tips and tricks.

1. Be nice!

You'd be surprised just how far this can get you. Flight attendants have to deal with a slew of annoying issues and complaints constantly, so a friendly face among the masses of disgruntled travelers can really stand out. Make friends with whoever is serving you, be genuine, and, if you can, make them smile or laugh. This will encourage them to return the kindness in the form of liquid friendship, if you're lucky.

2. Fly on a holiday.

Flying on a major holiday has its perks and drawbacks. While it can be a bit lonely and disheartening to be on a plane while friends and family celebrate something special, you may just appear pitiful enough to score yourself some free booze, especially if you're flying solo. I've flown alone on several Christmas Days and have gotten free drinks every time.

3. Order extra.

One of my drinks of choice when I'm flying is a Bloody Mary, but I never need the entire can of tomato juice for just one little airplane bottle of vodka - it screws up the ratio, but I hate wasting the juice! So ask your flight attendant to toss in a second airplane bottle if you're feeling extra boozy. Often, they'll throw it in for free, and sometimes they'll even give you several. One glorious red-eye flight found me double-fisting four airplane bottles for the price of one after a fun chat with a flight attendant led to a successful solo happy hour (and a great night's sleep on the plane . . .).

4. Fly internationally.

Many international airlines and international flights will offer free alcohol, depending on who you're flying with, where you're flying to/from, and how long your flight is. Make sure to either ask or check out the in-flight information so that you don't miss out on any freebies.

5. Go to your flight attendant instead of making them come to you.

OK, I definitely don't mean you should bombard them! But if they've already completed the drink service and you're still feeling a little thirsty, try approaching your favorite flight attendant rather than using the dreaded call button. It saves them the hassle of navigating all the way back to your seat, and they may thank you for it by keeping their card reader stashed soundly in the liquor cart while they slip you the good stuff.

6. Be helpful!

If a poor kid (or adult - no judgment) who is scared of flying wants to sit with a family member but is separated from them, offer up your seat. If someone is placed in the emergency exit row and doesn't feel comfortable performing the tasks, switch seats with them. You will help simplify everyone's lives, and flight attendants really appreciate that. It gives them more incentive to pay it forward with a bottle of booze.

7. Let your flight attendant know it's your special day.

If you're flying on your birthday, anniversary, honeymoon, or other special event, let your flight attendant know! You shouldn't expect anything from them, but if you're fun and engaging, your flight attendant may want to help you celebrate by offering you a glass of Champagne to say cheers with you.

8. Fly first class.

This is a no-brainer, but an easy way to get free alcohol is to fly first class, where it's (almost always) included. While not technically free since you're paying for it with the price of your ticket, if you get an upgrade to first class without having to pay extra, then you're in luck! Some airlines also offer free drinks in business class as well.

9. Be a frequent flier of an airline.

Members of JetBlue's Mosaic, American Airline's Executive members, and United Global Services passengers all get the drink upgrades for their loyalty. If you're a member of a loyalty program with an airline, check out what benefits are offered to see if alcohol is included!

We're Getting a Wonder Woman Sequel, Praise the Gods

To say Wonder Woman is crushing the box office right now would be an understatement. Words like "obliterating" or "demolishing" are more apt, given the film's record-setting $103.1 million domestic opening and its badass, empowering message. Everyone from Lupita Nyong'o to Chris Hemsworth has been raving about director Patty Jenkins and star Gal Gadot, and now it seems the Hollywood gods have answered all of our prayers: Wonder Woman is getting a sequel! Barely any details have been released just yet, but thanks to The Hollywood Reporter's revelation that Gadot and Jenkins are officially contracted for a second film, it's definitely in the works. Here's what we know so far:

The Story

Wonder Woman begins on Diana Prince's home island of Themyscira and later moves to a Europe torn apart by World War I. For the sequel, Jenkins wants to bring the superhero across the pond. "The story will take place in the U.S., which I think is right," the director told Entertainment Weekly in a recent interview. "She's Wonder Woman. She's got to come to America. It's time." She also told THR that the sequel will be in modern times, which suggests it'll happen sometime after the events of Justice League.

The Cast

Although Chris Pine likely won't return as Steve Trevor, leading lady Gadot will definitely be back to kick some ass. As far as other characters are concerned, making the story set in present day opens up the possibility of a few cameos from other DC characters (even if Wonder Woman only bothers with a single, subtle Justice League Easter egg).

The Director

Like Gadot, Jenkins is contractually obligated to return for the second installment of Wonder Woman. We can't imagine a better person for the job.

The Release Date

Settle in, you guys, because this is going to be a hell of a long wait. Before Warner Bros. can begin working on a sequel for Diana, it has to release Justice League (part one debuts on Nov. 17, 2017, part two on June 14, 2019), as well as finish The Flash and Aquaman (due out March 16, 2018, and Dec. 21, 2018, respectively). If all goes according to plan, the Wonder Woman sequel would likely hit theaters in 2019 (maybe to compete with Captain Marvel?) or possibly even 2020.

There's Evidence That US Tourism Is Down - Is Trump the Culprit?

President Donald Trump's impact on America isn't limited to causing domestic griping and outrage over policies like scaling back women's health care and firing the head of the FBI. Abroad, President Trump is increasingly becoming a threat to the intellectual and cultural identity of the United States - and there's evidence to suggest tourism is suffering because of it.

Just look at Trump's recent track record: in response to a recent attack on London Bridge, Trump insensitively criticized how the local government handled the situation. In the hopes of making a "better deal," Trump has jeopardized the worldwide Paris Agreement, which unifies countries to protect the planet. In visiting world NATO leaders, Trump made it known that he has a lot of issues with the organization and will quite literally push people around to make his point. Small and large outrages have followed each of these very recent events - from The Weather Channel shading Trump on climate change to Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel stating that the "times when we could completely rely on others are over."

Unfortunately, it seems likely that Trump's activities have an added, unsurprising side effect we're only now privy to: his actions are making America a less desirable destination for international tourists and business people. A recent report by the website and app Foursquare tracked global "location trails" via the service to reveal that tourism in America has been in decline since October 2016. It's a very initial and troubling finding, though it's important to consider that Foursquare users are likely a very specific audience.

Foursquare CEO Jeff Glueck explained in a post shared to Medium:

"The drop in international tourism to the U.S. is resulting in an opportunity cost of about 1.2% in total visits to U.S. shops, restaurants, attractions and the like. And it's a fair bet that international shoppers spend more than the average domestic shopper. . . . One analysis by the firm Tourism Economics reported that Trump's travel ban could cost the U.S. economy more than $18 billion and about 107,000 jobs."

To understand if these findings were substantive, POPSUGAR spoke with a staffer from the US Department of Commerce's National Travel and Tourism Office, who wished to be referred to only as a commerce official. "In 2015, travel and tourism was a significant export for the US," they explained, "accounting for approximately 11 percent of all exports and 33 percent of service exports, and contributes exports overall. International travel supported 1.2 [million] American jobs."

"BEA estimates that travel and tourism exports for the first three months of this year are strong," they continued. "We do not yet have the arrivals data for the last months of 2016."

In other words? It's likely too soon to tell.

"There are a lot of places for tourists to go. If they don't feel comfortable here, they can certainly go somewhere else."

Lawrence Culver, a professor of history at Utah State University, shared with POPSUGAR that we're already seeing how people are expressing discontent with the Trump administration with their dollars, both domestically and internationally. "You can see Americans making consumer choices," he explained, alluding to examples like the expanding #GrabYourWallet movement.

Comparatively, some states and cities are speaking up, taking real action against Trump's policies, and even making fairly overt pleas to potential visitors. "Recently, I saw a new TV ad that the city of LA is doing," Culver said. "The whole subtext of the ad is that they welcome everybody, regardless of race, or if you are LGBT. It wasn't a completely subtle thing either."

James Mak, a University of Hawaii Economic Research Organization research fellow and professor emeritus of economics, University of Hawaii-Manoa, has studied the economy of tourism for decades and predicts that we could be seeing more profound effects very soon. "It is certainly possible that the election of Donald Trump as president and the ensuing travel ban and negative public image of the US it has fostered could have deterred foreign travel to the US, especially (though not exclusively) from the Middle East," he told POPSUGAR. "Everything that I've read in the press (Travel Weekly, in particular) supports that conclusion."

Of course, Mak notes that tourism is nuanced and affected by more than just politics. For example, the strength of the US dollar can greatly impact travelers. Similarly, terror attacks can deter travel. "In theory, such terrorist attacks can have both negative and positive effects on international travel," he explained. "Those attacks may deter people from traveling farther from home. They may also entice people to shift their travel destinations from a potentially dangerous destination to one that's perceived to be safer." Another factor is natural disaster and environmental turmoil. For example, after Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans saw travel and business dwindle as the city rebuilt itself.

There are also markers of a rising distaste for travel to the United States beyond tourism. "We have seen a decline in the number of international students coming to the US," Culver said of students seeking higher education abroad. "Some of that is that it's harder to get here. The visa process is more complicated and expensive. For example, if you are an aspiring engineer and you want to get a degree that is internationally known, you might think of going to Australia or Germany rather than the US."

Culver also said that American presidents can catch on as international celebrities in their own right, making their presence part of the appeal of travel. "It was a really big deal to see an African American elected president," Culver said. "[International tourists] can be fixed on specific politicians as celebrities. It's like Americans who visit London hoping to see Will and Kate."

Mak also highlighted that Trump himself is intentionally damaging international tourism - ironic for a man who owns many resorts around the world. "In President Trump's proposed budget, funding for Brand USA - the private public partnership formed to promote international travel to the US - would be eliminated," Mak shared. "Funding comes partly from private contributions (including in-kind contributions) and partly from a fee levied on visa-waiver visitors to the US. The travel industry is fighting against the proposed cuts. It would be interesting to see if Congress restores the funding."

Yet both Culver and Mak agree that, like the commerce official said, it will take time until we have more definitive proof of a downturn in tourism. "It's difficult to quantify it," Culver reiterated. "We're pretty early in the process . . . and all sorts of things like that can affect the choices tourists make."

Culver did make it clear that this conversation is very America focused: in the same way Americans want to travel and explore limitless options, so do international travelers. "I think one thing Americans tend to forget is that, globally speaking, we aren't as important as we think we are," Culver said. "There are a lot of places for tourists to go. If they don't feel comfortable here, they can certainly go somewhere else."

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill Don't Just Have a Bahamas Home - They Have an Entire Island

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill didn't want just any beach house - they wanted a whole damn island, and it only took a modest nine years to build their picture-perfect getaway from the ground up.

Back in 2003, the couple arrived at the future site of their home on an island in the Bahamas, which was then only inhabited by a mere shack. When the duo bought the 20-acre property, they didn't exactly realize how much effort their home-building project would entail. "We set out to build a house. We had no idea we had to build everything else," Hill told Architectural Digest in a recent feature. "We basically had to build a little town."

To craft their dreamy slice of paradise, Hill and McGraw teamed up with architects Bobby McAlpine and Greg Tankersley of McAlpine, the same design firm that helped with their homes in Tennessee. They wanted to "feel connected to the outside," Hill explained to Architectural Digest, especially when it comes to the ocean breeze. After laying down the property's infrastructure, construction workers got down to business to fulfill the designers' vision: something encapsulating the idea that "in paradise, you live in ways you can't live in civilization."

This vision came to fruition in the form of a sprawling compound with eight "pavilions," which are all connected by open-air passageways. As if the outside of the home wasn't enough of a site to see, the inside may be even better. Interior designer Ray Booth crafted the perfect naturalistic decor that speaks for itself. "I think the beach has always represented, to the McGraws, a simplicity that their everyday life lacks," Booth said. "So this house needed to offer a real clarity and cleanliness in its aesthetic. It's essentially a bleached-out white [throughout]; where there is color, it's pulled directly out of those beautiful Bahamian waters."

Simply put, their Bahamian getaway is straight out of a dream. Read on for a peek at their tropical digs, and then head on over to ArchitecturalDigest.com for the full story.

16 Stellar Gifts For the Stylish Dad in Your Life

I Rubbed Snail Goo on My Face and It Obliterated My Acne

Some partners call their lovers "bae" or "boo." But my boyfriend? He calls me "Snail Face."

Technically, he's correct. Twice a day, every day, I rub a tablespoon of snail mucin - also called snail secretion filtrate - over my face and neck. Even though it tastes bitter - my boyfriend learned this first-hand by trying to kiss me on the cheek - it's the only thing that has worked to clear up my adult-onset acne.

I wasn't a pimply teenager and never had problems with it until I hit my early 20s. Suddenly, I was forming blackheads seemingly overnight, and I had a particularly difficult time battling zits on my cheeks. I had every kind of pimple you could imagine: stubborn whiteheads, deeply embedded pustules, pus volcanos, and fiery-red bumps.

Though I'd been using a Cetaphil face wash for years with positive results, it obviously was no longer working. I turned to other tactics, and over the course of the next five years, I tried a number of zany and not-so-zany treatments. I used Proactive, which worked relatively well, except for the fact that it dried my skin out. I saw multiple dermatologists who recommended myriad ointments, like Differin and Tazorac, as well as prescription antibiotics, all of which I dutifully used, to no avail. Facials became a monthly ritual, and I tried everything from intense extractions to LED Blue light treatments and glycolic-retinol masks.

After meeting a woman who claimed using oils on her face rid her of acne, I did the same, rubbing coconut, avocado, and rose hip oils all over my face. (Note: This tactic didn't work and only made me more pimple-y.) Somehow 3 percent hydrogen peroxide got added into the mix, and I started swiping that on my skin after washing. It worked well in preventing breakouts, but it bleached my eyebrows blonde, which wasn't a good look. I swapped the hydrogen peroxide for apple cider vinegar, which also made an impact, but it was too smelly.

I also experimented with my makeup, switching to pore-friendly brands like Bare Minerals, Origins, and Cover FX, and taking days off from wearing products at all. I started using primers and washing my brushes obsessively. I even stopped using a washcloth to clean my face, opting instead for konjac sponges and paper towels to dry my skin.

While some of these treatments worked, none solved my acne problems entirely. Maybe my skin would be clear, but my nose would be peeling or still full of blackheads. I'd still get breakouts every now and then, and I had a few pores that were hell-bent on getting clogged and flaring up on a regular basis.

Fast-forward to today, and getting acne is but a distant memory. My trick: I started using snail mucin. At this point, I was willing to try anything to get rid of my pimples, so even though using a product made out of snail slime sounded a bit gross to me, I was game. I first learned about it through the Korean beauty website, Soko Glam, but I didn't take the plunge and buy any snail products until my facialist recommended one to me by the skincare brand Biopelle.

The first two topicals I tried were Biopelle's Tensage Daily Serum ($125) and Cosrx's Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence ($21). After cleansing and washing my face, I applied both creams to my dry skin in lieu of lotion. They differ in texture, color, and feel.

The Tensage Serum is thick and white, and leaves your skin feeling slightly tingly, while the Advanced Snail Mucin is clear, sticky, and hydrating. Within a week, my skin was almost entirely clear of pimples, and now, after a using snail mucin for a year, I feel confident enough to go out in public without foundation on.

The funny thing is snail mucin isn't even intended to treat acne.

Made of hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein enzymes, antimicrobial and copper peptides, and proteoglycans, it's marketed as an anti-aging tool that helps diminish fine lines, reduce inflammation, and increase fibroblasts and collagen. The fact that it reduces pimples, is just a lucky addition.

Snail mucin is also not cruelly obtained. There is no one way to collect it. Different companies use diverse methods, as well as different species of snails. And the snails aren't killed or injured in the process.

Biopelle uses a species of snail native to the Mediterranean called Cryptomphalus aspersa, and the secretion is collected through stimulation. Several hundred snails are put into a five-gallon bucket and they're lightly swung around for a few rotations. This activity agitates the snails, who release the secretion. Biopelle president Elliott Milstein said this secretion is different from the mucin they produce for mobility.

"It's not like you can just put a snail directly on your face and have it move around to get those results," Milstein said. He explained that the secretion produced by the snail's movement does not contain the glycolic proteins and growth factors that the secretion acquired through agitation has.

After going through a few swings in the bucket, Biopelle's snails then get to rest for a couple of weeks in "a sanctuary," where they basically get to eat and have a lot of sex. Biopelle collects their eggs and uses them in its Tensage Stem Cell line, which helps produce new skin cells that can reduce signs of aging. The snails get a break in the Fall and Winter and are taken to a swamp in northern Spain to hibernate. According to Milstein, the average lifespan of their snails is twice that of snails living in the wild, which translates to about eight years instead of four.

The snail mucin used in the products Soko Glam sells is acquired differently, and most of the companies they work with are based in Asia.

According to Charlotte Cho, Soko Glam's cofounder, the snails are placed over a mesh net in a dark and quiet room and left to slither about for a good half-hour before their trail of mucin is collected. Unlike Biopelle's snails, the snails used to create Soko Glam's products do not get agitated or stressed because Cho said, "optimal mucin production occurs when snails are well rested and comfortable in their habitat.

There are different theories about how the healing qualities of snail mucin were discovered. Cho explained that Chilean farmers were the first to recognize snails' beneficial traits. "They noticed that their hands were visibly smoother and their cuts were healing quickly after handling snails," she said.

Milstein had another take. He said that radiologists discovered the mucin's healing effects after subjecting snails to x-rays and noticing that the substance they secreted helped heal their burns.

Snail mucin still has a ways to go before it catches on in mainstream formulas and loses its "ew" factor, but there are a fair amount of products on the market already. Quality varies, and Milstein warned that there are some companies that "actually just grind up the snail and don't use the extract." In other words, if a 12-ounce jar of snail mucin for $5 seems too good to be true, it probably is. While snail products aren't as expensive as, say, a La Mer cream, you've got to remember that you're paying for something that takes a lot of time (and a lot of snails) to make. But generally snail products cost anywhere between $20 and $200.

By now, I've recommended snail mucin to many friends and family, and of those who have been brave enough to try it, I've only heard positive results. Sure, it might deter your partner from kissing you on the cheek, but who cares? Your skin will look fantastic.

24 Times George and Amal Clooney Looked Madly in Love

George Clooney said goodbye to the single life when he went public with his romance with Amal Alamuddin during an African safari in March 2014. The two had a whirlwind courtship before they made things official when they tied the knot in Venice, Italy that September after a weekend full of festivities. In their years together, they've shared plenty of sweet moments at events, on red carpets, and while fighting for causes they believe in. And in June 2017, the couple welcomed twins, Ella and Alexander. Long story short: they're kinda perfect.

This Waterfall Looks Like It's From a Fairy Tale, and People Are Obsessed

Nature really never ceases to amaze. Everywhere you turn, there's another magical secret hidden in the depths of the ocean, or up the steep slope of a mountain. Case in point: the Kanarra Creek Canyon Waterfalls. Tucked away in the Zion National Park in Utah, adventurers can hike the canyon up to two waterfalls, which block upstream travel through a narrow slot in the canyon. In some places, hikers must wade through water to continue their hike.

Narrow slots in the canyon make for absolutely stunning photos, but the real draw is the unique waterfall destinations. There's a makeshift ladder to allow hikers to climb up the Kanarraville Falls (about 15 feet high) and trek onward - if you continue past the waterfalls for another half-mile, you can even reach a swimming hole with a mossy rock that people slide down. See the stunning images below.

Theory Alert! Could Ser Davos Actually Be the Secret Hero on Game of Thrones?

Caution: the following contains spoilers pertaining to Game of Thrones season six!

Between seasons of Game of Thrones, we've obsessed over theories predicting the secret savior of Westeros. Could it be Jon Snow - nay, Jon Targaryen - who might unite the Seven Kingdoms and defeat the White Walkers? Or might it be his fiery aunt, Daenerys? Hell, it might even be Sansa or Arya Stark, according to the theories we consume so ferociously to fill the void. But all this time, we've been overlooking some serious foreshadowing about one unexpected character: lovable Ser Davos Seaworth, the Onion Knight.

According to an utterly convincing Reddit theory by Redditor FollowTheBeard, Davos may be Azor Ahai, or the "Prince That Was Promised." We know, crazy, right? After spending six seasons supporting another man (Stannis) who claimed to be Azor Ahai, it seems wild that it may have been Davos himself all along who can fulfill this ancient prophecy. But hear us out; the Easter eggs that have been strewn throughout the series, when combined, make an excellent argument for Seaworth as the Prince That Was Promised.

The Theory:

In typical Reddit fashion, FollowTheBeard's full theory begins with a succinct explanation for skimmers: "TL;DR: Davos drew Lightbringer from the fire. Davos was reborn amidst salt and smoke under a bleeding star. Davos resurrected Jon Snow and woke the dragon from stone. Davos is the savior that will protect the world from darkness. Davos is the Prince that was Promised."

"Davos is the savior that will protect the world from darkness. Davos is the Prince that was Promised."

Each of these moments, wherein Davos merely blends into the background, not focusing on his own exceptional qualities in favor of serving a greater good, add up to foretell the Onion Knight as an unexpected savior.

First, explains the internet theorist, is Davos's early encounter with a flaming sword. At the beginning of season two, Melisandre proclaims: "In the ancient books it is written that a Warrior will draw a burning sword from the fire, and that sword shall be Lightbringer. Stannis Baratheon, Lord of Light, your sword awaits you." While Stannis ceremoniously withdraws a sword from the flames, Davos observes from the background; after the pomp and circumstance ceases, the knight walks over and picks up the formerly flaming sword himself, casually walking away with it.

The next piece of evidence is part of the prophecy, which predicts that "When the red star bleeds and the darkness gathers, Azor Ahai shall be born again amidst smoke and salt." Now, recall the conclusion of season two, when Davos and his navy are bombarded by Tyrion's Wildfire in the Battle of the Blackwater. The entire fleet is destroyed, and most of Stannis's soldiers perished in the battle . . . most, except Ser Davos. FollowTheBeard goes on to explain:

"Water is used pervasively in literature as a metaphoric mechanism of cleansing and rebirth. Fire is also widely used as a symbol for rebirth, renewed life, burning away corruption, etc. Davos 'comes back to life' in the Season 3 premiere as he wakes up on an island, rescued by Salladhor Saan, who even says:
'You've only just come back to life. Stay alive a little longer, my friend.'
Thus, Davos is reborn amidst smoke (wildfire) and salt (seawater). The metaphorical implications of Davos's rebirth can be thoroughly examined, but that's for another post."

Finally, Azor Ahai is foretold "to wake dragons from the stone." While Davos certainly hasn't interacted with any massive reptilian beasts a là Daenerys, he was in the room when Jon Snow (who we now know is a Targaryen) was resurrected atop a stone slab. According to this theory, it was no coincidence that Davos was the only one present when Jon awoke from death:

"During the resurrection scene, Jon Snow is laid out on a stone slab. Melisandre performs the ritual and . . . nothing happens. Tormund leaves, Melisandre leaves, Edd leaves. Only Davos stays. He lingers, as seen from this clip here. He approaches Jon, internally begging, pleading, willing, praying for his return. Shortly after, Jon gasps his first breath.
The delay between the ritual and first breath was not a dramatic pause. Melisandre did not resurrect Jon Snow. She never believed she could, nor did she have any faith left in the cause. Davos did. Davos, not Melisandre, brought Jon Snow back to life. Davos woke the dragon from stone."

These three pieces of evidence, along with Ser Davos actor Liam Cunningham's cryptic hints about knowing a secret straight from George R. R. Martin himself, are quite convincing. We'll definitely be playing close attention during season seven for more indicators that Davos is actually intended to save Westeros, not just serve it.

Not bad for a former smuggler who recently learned how to read, eh?
