18 Memes That Sum Up Every Emotion You Have When You Hear "Despacito"

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's "Despacito" has been all the craze since it first debuted in January 2017 (with the remix featuring Justin Bieber totally taking over the charts).

While we all love the song, we also sometimes hate it - too much of a good thing, you know? There are covers, there are instrumental versions, and there are even dance workout videos. "Despacito" is all the rage, which is why obviously memes about it have been created. We are literally laughing out loud at some of these! Keep reading do the same.

Blender Lemonade Is Fake News - Don't Try It!

I'm all for a great recipe hack. Cooking red wine in spaghetti? Awesome. Two-minute iced coffee? Totally works. Blender lemonade, on the other hand, does not. The Pinterest phenomenon calls for blending a whole lemon with a few tablespoons of sugar, ice, and water. "No squeezing required!" bloggers promised. Pictures of those frozen lemonade slushies looked so enticing and rewarding during Summer months, when the hot weather turns us all into lazy nincompoops. I, too, find myself avoiding "laborious" processes like juicing lemons and suddenly begin to turn every drink into a slushie. I had to have this blender lemonade. I needed this hack to work.

Unfortunately, my first and second go-around were not successful. Despite blending and blending and blending, the slushie remained very pulpy. That white pith did not break down and every sip tasted as fibrous as a green smoothie. The flavor starts shockingly tart. I yelped when I first tried it and shuddered when I swallowed it. The lemonade literally leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. I tried more ice, more tablespoons of sugar, and even a splash of lemon extract, but nope, there was no saving this beautiful-looking but horrible-tasting lemonade.

I'll continue to turn to Beyoncé's lemonade recipe and try blending that with ice before I ever attempt a whole-lemon lemonade again. Remember, the saying goes, "Turn lemons into lemonade," not "blended lemons."

The Only Reason Orange Is the New Black's CO Stratman Looks Familiar

If the prison guards have kind of blurred together for you while watching Orange Is the New Black, don't feel bad. Over two dozen people have played a guard at one time or another - and that number doesn't include other Litchfield support staff - but one guard may have caught your eye during the recently released season five. CO Stratman, played by Evan Hall, first appears in season four's fifth episode, "We'll Always Have Baltimore." He's part of the new set of veterans brought in by MCC to be prison guards because the company gets a tax break for employing veterans.

If you're wondering where this strapping young Stratman has been all your life, the answer is . . . not many places. Orange Is the New Black is Hall's first big acting gig. He has previously been seen in guest-starring roles on The Mysteries of Laura, The Following, and Elementary, but all of those roles were one-offs.

As the events of season five unfold, it's unclear how much more we will see of this new batch of guards. The number one demand on the inmates' list is to "replace all current guards with properly trained ones," which doesn't bode well for any of the newbies - not that they should keep their jobs after the way they've been treating the inmates.

However, we should all take a minute to appreciate Stratman's talent in the guard talent show. Hall's commitment to the striptease is . . . impressive.

It may be time for a new crop of boys and girls in blue at Litchfield, but we'll all have to wait to see how season five plays out to know for sure.

Hold Up, Who Is Frieda Berlin on Orange Is the New Black?

Few things sum up the Orange Is the New Black character Frieda Berlin better than one of her quotes from season four: "Why dig one six-foot hole when you can dig six one-foot holes? That's just murder math!" Frieda, played by actress Dale Soules, is a callous, no-nonsense old gal who boasts neck tattoos and a brittle sense of humor. The last two seasons really highlight how bloodthirsty she actually is, while allowing the occasional glimpse of a vulnerability she might possess deep down. So, who is Frieda Berlin? Here are some things we've learned.

She's doing time for having cut off her husband's penis.

With pride, Frieda explains to Gonzales how she ended up in prison: She removed her husband's penis, using a butcher knife . . . that wasn't even sharp. "I still dream about it," she says. "All the blood. The way it flopped around in my fist. Best thing I ever did."

She's a member of the Golden Girls.

Frieda hangs out with the other older ladies at Litchfield in a clique referred to as the Golden Girls. Yet Frieda views old age as an asset in prison; if everyone thinks they're feeble, they're constantly underestimated and ignored, so they can get away with anything. Of course, the word "Golden" refers only to their time of life. There is nothing sunny about Frieda Berlin.

She knows a lot about murder . . . a LOT, a lot.

To Alex's dismay, Frieda discovers the body of the murdered guard, but it turns out that Frieda is the best possible person to have on hand in exactly this situation. Although she won't answer Alex's inquiry about whether she'd ever killed a person ("That's personal"), she sure knows a lot about dismembering a body and strategically planting the remains.

Really, she is most likely an actual murderer.

Frieda claims to have killed a cop with his own gun, and her answer to most conflicts with other inmates is to kill them or at least threaten them a little. On a few occasions, Frieda suggests murdering Lolly to silence her incriminating rants, and Red clearly believes Frieda would do it.

She is no-nonsense but loyal.

Frieda doesn't suffer fools but when she identifies an ally; she sticks with them. In season two, she lands firmly on the side of Team Red and never looks back, loyally fighting Red's battles and proving to be a helpful comrade.

There's a tiny bit of soft tenderness somewhere deep down within Frieda.

When Lolly panics and tries to dig up the body parts buried in the garden, Frieda calmly diffuses the situation by claiming she already moved the body parts to another location. Despite her blustery detachment, Frieda has a sensitive intuition about people, and perhaps it's because - as she roars at Baxter Bayley when he hits her with an egg - she is a human being.

***Warning: if you haven't watched season five yet, stop reading now!***

She's a literal survivalist.

In the second episode of season five, Frieda gets her own backstory. She grows up with a single dad after her mother dies, and he raises her to be a survivalist (he's a crazy Communism conspiracy theorist). They go camping one night, and when she wakes up in the woods the next morning, she realizes her dad has left her all alone in the middle of the woods with only a needle, a metal pot, and a small knife. We get an idea of the depth of her survival skills when she fills the pot with water, places a leaf on top of the surface, and rests the needle on it, which works as an impromptu compass. She manages to find her way home a few hours later (after an incredibly gross run-in with some leeches, that is).

She builds a secret compound under the prison.

It turns out Frieda has been hoarding food, water, furniture, and other essentials throughout her stay at Litchfield. Using her survival skills, she secretly takes over some connected, abandoned rooms in the basement of the prison and turns them into her private hideaway. Talk about being resourceful.

The Dead Sea Is the Lowest Elevation on Earth and One of the Saltiest Bodies of Water

The Dead Sea's beauty is hard to describe if you haven't seen it with your own eyes. People from all over the world are drawn to it, and for a good reason. The Dead Sea borders Israel, Jordan, and Palestine and is one of the saltiest bodies of water on earth. It also holds the title of being the lowest elevation on earth. Its high salt concentration makes it impossible for any living organism besides bacteria and fungi to survive; it's 10 times as salty as the ocean. Sadly, it is slowly receding and drying out due to the enormous heat it's exposed to.

I visited Israel a couple years back and still remember beautifully formed salt crystals that surrounded the rocks on the shore like a blanket of white snow. Not only is the Dead Sea worth a visit, but also its surrounding Negev desert, a rocky body of land with deep-orange-colored mountains and hidden waterholes. Read on to see unique photos of the Dead Sea and Masada, an ancient fortress, ahead.

Orange Is the New Black: No, CO Bayley Isn't in Pitch Perfect

To say that we have been anxiously awaiting the return of Orange Is the New Black for the past year would be a serious understatement. Season five was officially released on Netflix on June 9, and all is right with the world! We were left with a huge cliffhanger at the end of season four - Poussey Washington had just been killed at Litchfield Penitentiary at the hands of Corrections Officer Baxter Bayley in a chaotic cafeteria situation. This is the last straw for the inmates, who are done putting up with the prison conditions, and at the beginning of season five, a full-on riot breaks out.

So who is this guy, CO Bayley, who turns everything upside down? The 24-year-old man behind the character is Alan Aisenberg and, spoiler alert (not really), you might have seen him before. No, he's not the guy from Pitch Perfect . . . although he's used to that mix-up since he looks pretty similar to Ben Platt.

Aisenberg has appeared on TV shows like Inside Amy Schumer, Mozart in the Jungle, and Red Oaks. He's also had stints in movies like The English Teacher and It's Kind of a Funny Story.

On OITNB, he plays a young, nervous, and not-exactly-authoritative CO, which is why it's interesting that he causes Poussey's death, rather than one of the more aggressive characters. The whole situation is still controversial. CO Bayley had been holding Poussey down when Crazy Eyes starts to have a psychotic break and attack him. He had his knee on Poussey's back and had been holding her neck down as he tried to keep Crazy Eyes at bay. It is a heartbreaking scene, and it definitely kept us stressing about season five.

Will we find out if CO Bayley gets tried for murder? Or will it be ruled an accident?

The 2020 Olympic Games Will Lead the Way For Mixed-Gender Events

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics is expected to have twice as many mixed-gender events as the Rio Olympic games did in 2016. On Friday, June 9, the International Olympic Committee approved nine new mixed-gender events coming to the 2020 Summer Olympics, including a historic change that allows men and women runners and swimmers to compete together.

"I am delighted that the Olympic Games in Tokyo will be more youthful, more urban, and will include more women," Thomas Bach, the committee president, said in a statement. The IOC also called the changes "female focused," with the hopes of having an equal number of male and female athletes in all future Olympic games.

Mixed-gender events for judo, sailing, table tennis, archery, shooting, and the triathlon have been added, in addition to a 4 x 100 mixed-gender swimming medley relay and a 4 x 400 mixed-gender track meter relay. The IOC predicts 48.8 percent of the competitors at the 2020 Games will be female, with "the most women competing ever" and "the most women's events ever." This news already sounds like a major win to us!

I Tried a Cleanse After a Half-Marathon So You Never, Ever Have To

My most recent half-marathon was at Disneyland, so needless to say, I ate my bodyweight in grams of sugar. Lightsaber churros? Of course (anything for the 'gram!). Beauty and the Beast cakes topped with mousse? Absolutely. Pineapple cotton candy? How could I not?!

I also didn't hold back from my post-race Disneyland brunch of bananas foster French toast and chocolate milk, so by the time I was heading home and back to real life, my gut felt like it was filled with cement. "Perfect time to cleanse!" I thought to myself. Wrong. That is incorrect.

I eagerly accepted an offer to try a three-day meal plan, which to be honest, was a beautiful set of food. Blue magic cashew milks, pineapple turmeric shots, delicious veggie pho, and hearty veggie salads . . . it was great. And even though I really, really don't like green juice, I was ready for a cold and refreshing bottle of green goodness to help my body feel healthy again. So I went into this a bit unawares and very excited.

Well . . . mostly excited

After setting aside my day of meals for day one, I realized that I might need some more calories - especially protein! According to this cleanse's guidelines, you're allowed to add in pastured eggs and pastured chicken, so I figured with my first green juice, I'd make myself two eggs. "Off to a great start!" my optimistic brain continued.

The food was great, but not filling enough for me; I was feeling famished. I added in some plain, air-popped popcorn as an afternoon snack. I got home, made the veggie pho, and still didn't feel great, so I added half a chicken thigh. I continued to tell myself that the intense hunger was normal, and I just needed to have some self-control. "People go on cleanses all the time! This is fine! You're fine. Everything's fine."

The next morning, I met with my personal trainer (Liz Letchford, MS, ATC) for our weekly session, and she was, eh . . . not pleased with me. You know when your parents are like, "I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed?" It was like that. For the second day, I again added an egg to my breakfast juice, but Liz recommended even more food - specifically some oatmeal, so I listened and ate some of that, and yet still, I felt totally famished by the end of the day.

By day three, I was actually nauseous. You know when you get "mouth sweats" - runny saliva and chills that indicate you're about to barf? That was me . . . in the POPSUGAR office. Halfway through my salad, my co-worker looked over at me and said, "God you look terrible," and I knew I needed to evacuate the premises immediately before things got awkward. I won't get into it because I don't know you or your tolerance for graphic details, but what I can say is, thank God I made it home shortly thereafter.

I asked Liz what the deal was with postrace nutrition, and she had this to say: "Your body had just worked hard to complete those 13 miles, so it needed nutrition to rebuild damage muscles, replace stored muscle glycogen, and recover neurologically from the race. Without adequate calories, you risk overtraining syndrome and muscle breakdown - the last thing you want when training." Essentially, I was doing the nutritional equivalent of skipping many, many rest days.

Not only that, but my body had likely used up most of the sugar and carbohydrates I inhaled enjoyed the day before, so I didn't need to cleanse, and when my digestive tract received things like dandelion greens and excess probiotics, it did the digestive-system version of slapping me in the face.

So there you have it - it's probably OK to cleanse away on a normal week, when you haven't completed an endurance event, and only when you really, really need a caloric reset. And if you're going to do a cleanse, the one I did actually offered delicious food! But if you're doing a half-marathon or race anytime soon, please - for everyone's sake - please don't do a cleanse afterward. PSA over.

Everywhere You Can Get the Coveted Rum Dole Whip at Disneyland and Walt Disney World

Finding Disney's Dole Whip with rum is kind of like trying to spot a hidden Mickey - it's not impossible, but it can be tricky. While the pineapple dessert is readily available in and outside of the parks, its alcoholic version is more scarce. Fortunately, you can definitively find the rum Dole Whip at a few locations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

If you're at Disneyland, you really only have one option: a generous cup of Dole Whip with a splash of rum is available at The Coffee House located inside the Disneyland Hotel for $10. As of now, that's the only place it's available since Disneyland doesn't serve alcohol.

At Walt Disney World, you've got options. Animal Kingdom's Tamu Tamu Refreshments currently sells two different versions with dark and coconut rum, respectively, for $7 each. In addition, the Drop Off Pool Bar at the Art of Animation Resort also sells a similar drink, the Captain's Pineapple, and you can find another version at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto at the Polynesian Village Resort.

Look ahead to see this boozy beverage in its many iterations!

7 Life Lessons From a Young CEO

Nahema Mehta was running a start-up when an opportunity she least expected presented itself. Her mission to make original works of art accessible to the masses grabbed the attention of executives at Absolut, who, at the time, were looking to expand into a lifestyle brand by launching a product category beyond vodka. After being pursued and recruited by the corporation and its leaders, she became the inaugural CEO of Absolut Art, an online platform that allows clients to discover and purchase limited-edition pieces from artists around the world at a groundbreakingly low cost.

When I sat down with Nahema, her passion for and knowledge of the subject matter was instantly palpable. As we chatted about her background, travels, and career path, it was clear that she had accomplished so much all before the age of 30. "This has always been so much of who I am that it felt like a very natural extension," she said. The depth and breadth of information she shared was inspiring, especially for a young professional like myself. Keep reading for her invaluable advice and you'll be on your way to CEO in no time.

On starting young:

"I think there's a real beauty in being young and a little bit bright-eyed and naive. If you've done your homework and you know enough to go into the field, the fact that you're young is only giving you an advantage."

On seeking advice:

"Take a chance and talk to people about what you're thinking about doing. People love to help. You will be shocked by how many say 'OK this is my advice, here's two friends you should meet.' So when you're feeling ready, take the plunge and remember that it doesn't have to be perfect."

On finding mentors:

"It's great to understand your strengths first, but the most important thing is to figure out what you don't know, acknowledge it, and surround yourself with people who can teach you and who are smarter than you. Because if you're the smartest person in the room, I truly believe you're in the wrong room."

On taking risks:

"I swear by the mantra, 'in order to break the rules you must first master them.' There's something sexy about the word disruption, and people are so into it, and I think there's a reason for that. You want to challenge the norm, but there also has to be a respect around why the norm happened."

On setting yourself apart:

"I feel like when people have an idea, they feel like they can't talk about it because they're worried someone else will steal it, but that's the worst mentality to have. Ideas are a dime a dozen, and everything is in the execution. If you're executing it in a unique way that's individual to yourself, no one can replicate it."

On becoming educated:

"It's great to hire experts, but you should always know enough about any field that you're hiring for to call bullsh*t. When I started out, I would trade French lessons for coding lessons. And it wasn't because I wanted to become this master coder, but it was because I wanted to be knowledgeable in hiring and show respect for that field and the people who are working with me."

On paying it forward:

"No matter where you are in your career, there are always people who are three, four years behind where you are. Everyone is always so focused on how they're going to do the next thing, but always take a step back and think about how you can pay it forward. Name a Better Duo Than Pan Dulce and Horchata Ice Cream - We'll Wait

After seeing Horchateria Rio Luna's Concha Ice Cream Sandwich, we can now confirm that love at first sight is scientifically proven to be true. In addition to its decadent churro sundae, the Los Angeles-based coffee shop is also known for its epic ice cream sandwich that involves two slices of pan dulce.

The Concha Ice Cream Sandwich involves horchata ice cream, a concha that's been cut in half, walnuts, and the so-called drizzle of your choice out of the following options: strawberry, guava, condensed milk, cajeta, or Nutella. As an alternative to the horchata ice cream, the shop can also replicate the sandwich using a scoop of vibrant pitaya sorbet.

A regular-size sandwich is priced at $4, but Horchateria also offers an ambitious extra-large version for $6. Ahead, drool over some pictures of our new favorite hybrid dessert.

Well Damn, Brad Pitt Is Looking Pretty Good These Days

Brad Pitt is back on the scene to promote his recent projects, including Netflix's War Machine and Okja and The Lost City of Z, all of which he produced. I'm not going to make any Benjamin Button jokes here, but I will say that the 53-year-old actor is looking pretty damn good these days. After a particularly rough 2016, Brad seems to be getting back into the groove of heating up red carpets and bringing his handsomeness to more Hollywood events. This week, he also showed off his sense of humor during a stop at The Jim Jefferies Show, making a cameo as a weatherman and giving a hilariously bleak weather report in the wake of Donald Trump's decision to pull the US out of the Paris Climate Accord.

According to recent reports, Brad is "focusing on himself again" in the wake of his bitter split from Angelina Jolie; he's "been outdoors a lot, hiking and walking," and eating healthy meals. He also revealed that he's in therapy, telling GQ: "I love it. I love it. I went through two therapists to get the right one." I'm totally seeing the glow from within, I really am. Is this the Brad Pitt Renaissance? Keep reading to see some photographic evidence that Brad is back.

The Life and Times of My Drag Queen Grandmother, Flawless Sabrina

Zackary Drucker is an independent artist and activist, as well as a producer on Amazon's groundbreaking TV series Transparent.

I met my grandmother, Flawless Sabrina, when I was 18. It was 2001, and I had just moved to New York City from Syracuse. I went to the West Side Piers for Wigstock, a drag festival they had back then. I couldn't afford the $20 to get in and see the performance, so I hung out near the entrance and took pictures of some of the queens who were coming in and out. As Flawless Sabrina left, I took a picture of her, and she said to me, "You're on the wrong side of the camera, kid."

I hung that picture on my wall. Later, I continued to see her around in the club scene. She was always the oldest person in the club. She's now 77 and has lived in the same apartment in New York for 50 years.

In the pre-Stonewall days, Flawless Sabrina was incarcerated around 100 times for the crime of cross-dressing, while she toured her drag contests across America from 1959 to 1969. She and her friends took that act from town to city to town, all across America from Appalachia to the Pacific Northwest. They would organize local talent to perform. In a grassroots effort coordinated by phone tree, advance people would go to the next city or town to hang out in the coffee shops, find out who the gossip queens were, and who could spread the word that the drag contest was coming to town. It was an underground network.

Those are the people that I look to in times like this: our elders who survived intolerably hostile environments and times. Many of the people I revere and look up to have been able to see around the corner. It seems trans folks have a long history of being seers in their communities.

Throughout history, we have been persecuted. Globally, we are persecuted. Nationally, we're persecuted. The stakes are always changing. And the stakes I have, as an American-born white trans woman, are very different from the stakes of my trans sisters who are undocumented and from Central America. The stakes are different for all of us, so it's essential that we look out for the more vulnerable members of our community. Pride this year is more important than it has ever been in my lifetime.

We need to tap into the spirit of resilience.
Flawless Sabrina would tell me stories about the way the queens used to treat each other or trans women. Sex workers in Central Park were throwing acid in each other's faces, or super-gluing bits of razor blades under their fingernails, so they could claw each other. We're a group of people who have not always had a good sense of community or sisterhood, a people who've been devoured by internalized shame.

We can't afford to attack each other any longer. It's divisive and cruel to single people out because their politics are different from ours. We're all fighting for the same things, respect and equality.

We need to tap into the spirit of resilience that Flawless has shown. We need to nourish the sense of pride that catapulted the first brick at the Stonewall riots. We need to listen to our inner voices saying: "I'm worth more than this, and I'm willing to speak out and fight for it!"

As told to Ryan Roschke

All of the Gross Stuff About Being a Mom That Your Wife Won't Tell You

Our friends at Fatherly share some of the less-glamorous aspects of motherhood to prepare unsuspecting dads for what's to come.

It's tempting-thanks largely to the enormous advertising spend of multinational corporations - to view motherhood through the pink-hued, soft-focus lens deployed for low-budget television dramas and high-budget sanitary products. But motherhood is not purely an emotional state, much less a state of bliss. It's often a state of dysmorphia and sometimes, thanks to a combination of cultural norms and willful ignorance, embarrassing and gross. This aspect of the maternal experience is excised from cocktail party chatter and, all too often, from conversations between partners. Luckily, there are women willing to pull back the curtain of motherhood and reveal the bloody, pee stained truth to men who just want to know what's up.

"Society wants us to be these brilliant multi-taskers who can do it all but without the farting and indigestion men get," says Annie Murray, a writer for the decidedly unsqueamish Mother of the Year blog and veteran of three births. "Momming just adds another layer to that because we have more grossness around us and less control over our bodies and time."

And make no mistake, Murray says, being a mom is super gross. The cringe-worthy physical mom issues are directly related to the havoc that is caused in a woman's body by growing another human inside of it. Sure, women are built to do exactly that, but that doesn't mean there aren't consequences. Consider the number of organs that need to be displaced and rearranged in order to make room for something that gets as large as a watermelon.

That's exactly why one in three mothers develop postpartum urinary incontinence. It's also the reason cold season sucks for a mom-a good coughing fit will likely lead to surprise pee. There's no holding it in. And it's more than just coughing that leads to the unwanted release of urine. Laughter does the trick. So does exercising. Murray mentions one friend who can't do certain yoga poses anymore because "she's afraid she's going to pee herself."

Another hush-hush postpartum issue men are unlikely to hear about is hemorrhoids. They are also incredibly common and can range from uncomfortable and itchy to incredibly painful. In some cases they hamper intimacy. It's hard to say, "Yes, but please be aware of my anal discomfort."

But of all the painful body things happening post pregnancy, stitches from vaginal and anal tearing are likely the worst. They require cleaning and care and it's common for a new mom to be sent home with little instruction. There is a constant fear of them tearing. Murray's fear was enough to cause a collateral problem. "I didn't poo for a week," she recalls, none too fondly.

It's important to note that the yuck isn't all below the waist. After pregnancy, a woman will start to lose the hair that was made full and bright by pregnancy hormones. Clogged drains abound.

Also, breastfeeding leads to its own specific sort of awfulness. Consider the fact that nipples need to develop a callus. And sometimes a condition called mastitis can lead not only to pain but to the discharge of pus. Whether or not this happens, mothers know that it's a very real possibility. Breastfeeding may be beautiful, but it doesn't always engender beautiful thoughts.

But the grossness doesn't stop at infancy. While both men and women are likely to have an equal chance of getting a kid's bodily fluids on their person, it seems like moms are more likely to have their bathroom privacy revoked by a kid.

"I've changed tampons in front of the girls and the boy," Murray says. "You never have time alone." Which means that it's likely a kid knows more than dad about what's going on with mom's body.

The point is that dads don't have the market cornered on gross. Sure, they fart and belch and scratch themselves, but ladies have their fair share of gross too and it's grossness in the service of others and in contradiction-of a sort-to a glowing maternal image that is impossible to maintain. Soft-focus mothering is real, but so is incontinence. And unpleasantness of that nature may be the hardest part of the maternal experience for fathers to understand, not because of a lack of sympathy, but because they don't know or too quickly forget.

"I couldn't imagine not telling my husband this stuff," laughs Murray.

Before You Watch Orange Is the New Black, Read "Skinhead" Helen's Thoughts

Goodbye, weekend plans. It's time for Orange Is the New Black season five! The new season takes place in the aftermath of Daya seizing CO Humphrey's gun over the course of three days. We got the chance to chat with Francesca Curran, who plays "Skinhead" Helen, and she has some choice words to describe the new episodes: violent, intense, wild, and, above all, incredible. Before you sit down to binge the new season, read up on everything Curran teased!

POPSUGAR: Will we see the white supremacists band together with any other groups this season?

Francesca Curran: We're a very limited group. If you don't fit our standards, if you don't fit our beliefs - and especially if you're not white - it's going to be really difficult to try to make an alliance with us. We've seen some attempts throughout season four and five of other groups trying to be on our good side, since we do tend to be more aggressive and violent. In season five, we do get to venture out of those boundaries . . . It's the white girls against everyone else. You see the Latinas group up with the black girls, and you see these groups come together. Season five is so intense and there's so much going on. It's all the women against the rest of the prison system. I do think that we are forced to get out of our comfort zone and interact with some of the other groups . . . But we are still crazy, paranoid freaks.

PS: I heard that not only do you have a pretty gnarly storyline this season, but you also took combat training.

FC: Yeah, we did combat training, and it was just the craziest experience because we have this amazing guy, Greg, and we have a whole team of guys that come in and show us how to do these crazy flips and wall kicks and some of the stuff we do, we'll get professional stunt people in. But the fun part for me this season was while some of the other girls were having stunt people do it, they, for some reason, had a crazy sense of faith in me. And they were like, "Hey, do you think you can handle this?" And being the crazy person that I am, I was like, "Absolutely." So it did result in some bruising and stuff, but nothing serious. But I got to do some pretty wild kicks, flips, locker crushes, all sorts of stuff. It was an ego boost for me, coming home, and being like, "Yeah, I do my own stunts."

PS: I spoke to Kate Mulgrew last week and she was saying that we might get a little more backstory, but it's mostly set in the present this season. Are we ever going to get to see Helen's backstory?

FC: So for season five, we see snippets of background information. Just in this season, I'm sure that you've heard that it takes place in three days. So it's a really quick, action-packed snippet. The writers packed a lot of information into so little time . . . I still don't know why I'm in prison. But we do find out a little bit about me, and how even though I am such an aggressive character, and even though I am a white supremacist and have a lot of extremist beliefs and everything, I do have a comedic side, a softer side. It makes you remember that even with villains, even with these characters in the show that are obviously such bad people that have had such horrible experience in their lives that have led them to prison, there is still a human being at the core. I get to do some really hilarious stuff this season amidst some really dark things.

PS: Is there anything else you can tease about the upcoming season?

FC: I just think Orange does such an amazing job with mirroring events in real life, and that's partially why it's gotten so much attention in the media and had such an amazing following. With Poussey last season we saw the Black Lives Matter movement mirroring real life. You know how they say art imitates life? They did such a spot-on job with that. With the political climate right now, all I can say is it's a good season to be a Nazi. I know that sounds bizarre. But for us, we're given so much incredible material, and they really did an amazing job of taking current events, taking this talk that's been so recently brought up with white supremacy and whatnot, and making it into how it fits into our prison system. You're going to see a lot of high emotion. You're going to see a lot of violence. You're going to see a lot of the relationship between COs and prisoners. You're going to see us going after justice and fighting for Poussey's legacy. And it's extremely intense. That's about all I can say, but you'll see what I'm saying.

10 Supersafe Bug Sprays For Kids (Including 1 You Can Make Yourself!)

Spring is here, and that means clouds in the sky, flowers in the ground, and mosquitos in the air. Yes, the arrival of warm weather comes with a downside in the form of bugs that won't stop biting our kids. While it's easy to find a spray that keeps bugs away, it's extremely difficult to find one that is safe for children (and even adults). Most repellents contain DEET, a highly effective and highly toxic chemical that can cause rashes, headaches, seizures, and other conditions. Luckily, you don't need to sacrifice your children's health to protect them from pesky critters.

Here, 10 store-bought sprays that safely protect your tots from bug bites. And for you DIY moms, we even have one repellent you can make with a few easy-to-find ingredients.

Miranda Kerr on Her Heartbreak-Healing Essential Oil: It's Like "a Big Warm Hug"

Image Source: Getty / Kevin Mazur

Before you call "bullsh*t," hear Miranda Kerr out. According the the mega model and beauty brand owner of Kora Organics, an essential oil may help to heal a broken heart. Kerr recently launched Kora Organics Heart Chakra Aromatherpy Oil ($48), which allows you to use the power of scent to uplift your mood. The website claims it will, "invoke, nurture, and empower the energies of your Heart Chakra."

Kerr explained the inspiration behind this launch to Elle.com. "A few years ago, I was in a really rough place," she said. "My heart was really wounded. This strong wave depression really hit me all of a sudden, and I didn't know what to do. I finally asked my aromatherapist if she could help. And that's how this all started."

Then, she went on to clarify what a "heart chakra" is and how a scented oil can help it.

"It's the closest thing I can describe to feeling a big warm hug."

"Your heart chakra is the fourth chakra," Kerr noted. "It's literally right over your heart. And our chakras can open and close, and when your heart chakra is closed, you're feeling less energy, more stress, like everything is overwhelming and your whole body just wants to shut down. . . . So we created this super-charged wellness essence that really helps nurture your heart and empower your energies. We put in sandalwood, ylang ylang, cedar wood, and we combine them together and filter them through a rose quartz crystal to charge them."

It may sound a bit hokey, but many swear by this method. I once got a massage in Prague based around relaxing chakras, and I was shocked at how well it worked.

Here's how Kerr advises to apply it. "The first thing you do is smell the heart chakra oil. When you smell it, you'll feel it. It's such a sensory experience that's really uplifting and energizing . . . to be honest, I use it as an alternative to perfume because it smells so yummy. It's the closest thing I can describe to feeling a big warm hug."

Finally, it's a give-and-take method. Stay with us: by using this magical oil, you may help others around you, too. "If your heart chakra is open and activated, you're more willing to give and receive love," Kerr explained. "So then you can activate other people's hearts and make them give and receive love, too!"

Huda Kattan Freaks Out While Charlotte Tilbury Does Her Makeup, and It's Adorable

From the way beauty blogger Huda Kattan and makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury uncontrollably giggle in this video, you'd think they've been having sleepovers their entire lives. In reality, this is the first time Charlotte's done Huda's makeup, and the two women's incredible passion for makeup inspires us throughout the must-watch video.

Charlotte starts out by treating Huda's skin to the Magic Cream ($100) and Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask ($22) explaining that it's hydrating and reusable. The makeup artist explains that she's huge proponent of prepping the skin, "if your skin looks amazing . . . the makeup will sit much more beautiful[ly]."

After highlighting and bronzing Huda's skin, Charlotte applies a smoky rust shade to Huda's eyelids. By using a windshield wiper motion in Huda's crease, Charlotte creates a beautiful warm smoky eye. When applying mascara, Charlotte recommends holding the brush vertically to define every lash.

Huda's Middle Eastern fans will be excited to learn that Charlotte Tilbury's makeup line is arriving soon. Starting in September, Kuwaiti beauty-lovers will be able to shop Charlotte's line, and it will be sold in Dubai starting in January 2018.

Here's What Happens When a Registered Dietitian and Pro Athlete Evaluate Your Lifestyle

I consider myself healthy, since I'm a smart eater who prioritizes working out. I grew up in a household where organic produce was our guiding star and have been writing about health and fitness for 12 years. While I understand what my body needs in terms of exercise, by no means would I ever consider myself a fitness expert. And I'll be the first to admit that there's a ton I don't know about nutrition - but I would say I make good decisions when it comes to my own food.

Or, I used to say that. I recently enlisted the help of two experts. First, I had registered dietitian at Herbalife Nutrition, Susan Bowerman, M.S., R.D., C.S.S.D., C.S.O.W.M., F.A.N.D., evaluate my food journal for a week. While I agreed with her evaluation of what my diet was lacking (more on that below), I was also surprised by some of the feedback. Had I been living in my own little food bubble? Then I consulted former professional sprinter and fitness expert at Herbalife Nutrition, Samantha Clayton, to see if my go-to exercise routines were on track.

The first thing I did was take note of everything I consumed for an entire week and sent it off to Bowerman. Then I shared my workouts with Clayton. After a few days, I received extensive notes on how I could be making improvements throughout the day. Here are the biggest changes I made after reading through their advice:

Every morning for breakfast, I'd been eating a fat-free Greek yogurt with a handful of almonds. Prior to speaking with Bowerman, I would've given myself an A+ grade for that meal. But she saw it differently. "The almonds make up about 175 calories, which would be better spent on some whole fruit to boost fruit intake (80 calories or so)," Bowerman said. "And the remaining calories could be shifted to a midmorning snack, which is when you tend to get hungry."

So for the next week, I alternated between fat-free Greek yogurt with a handful of organic blueberries, and a protein shake – which was made with Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Shake Mix, Herbalife Personalized Protein Powder, almond milk, spinach leaves, and a few frozen strawberries. Because I was consuming fewer calories, I was able to then have more fruit later in the morning if I got hungry.

I wasn't surprised to hear Bowerman tell me this. Almost every item in my food journal was protein, dairy, or fat. "You are getting plenty of exercise, but I am not sure that your diet is providing adequate carbohydrate to support that." Bowerman said she wanted me to get some "good" carbs in before workouts and recommended I eat bananas beforehand. She also suggested that I add beans or lentils to my lunch (usually salad or a piece of chicken), which would supply some protein.

So for the next week, I followed both suggestions. I added spelt, green lentil, and long grain rice into salads and stir-frys for lunch. This kept me much fuller than my usual salad or protein-only lunches.

The fitness log I shared with Clayton included all of my exercise for the week. It consisted of two 30-minute jogs, two-and-a-half hours of indoor competitive volleyball, a reformer Pilates class, and a 50-minute spin class. This was pretty typical for me. She agreed with Bowerman that I needed more carbs to fuel my workouts, but my diet wasn't the only thing she wanted me to diversify. She felt a wider range of dynamic movements would benefit my body and my volleyball performance. "Your current routine is very linear in nature, and as volleyball involves lateral movements, training your body with some sideways movement may improve your game," Clayton said. "Cycling and running tend to focus on forward and backward movements, but for those moments when moving sideways is essential, you need to be ready by working on those small muscles and tendons that are responsible for stability." As someone who has had more athletic injuries than I can count, this resonated. It's information I knew, but I wasn't practicing. It was helpful to have someone call me out.

She suggested I integrate the following moves into my week as a way to strengthen key stabilizers: side steps, speed skaters, side hops, lateral lunges, and obstacle runs.

One of my routine habits after getting home from work was to fill up on cheese while I prepared dinner. My commute home is roughly 90 minutes, so by the time I get there, I'm starving. But since dinner isn't ready - I have to make it when I get home - I eat a lot of cheese as an immediate solution. Bowerman had a great suggestion, though. She encouraged me to eat a snack later in the afternoon that was packed with protein so that I wouldn't be so hungry when I got home.

For the following week, I had a protein bar around 3:00 p.m. I was still hungry by the time I got home, but far less than normal. I was able to really cut down on cheese because of this.

In my mind, I'd been getting tons of fruits and vegetables, but Bowerman saw this differently. "Although you say that your diet leans toward lean meats and vegetables, the first thing that jumped out at me was inadequate servings of fruits and vegetables every day." This really surprised me, but when I looked over my food diary, I couldn't argue with her. I was almost uncomfortable with how little fruit I'd been eating. As a goal, I should have been filling half of my plate with fruits and vegetables.

For the next week, I added in the blueberries for breakfast (as noted above) and made sure that I kept a close eye on lunches and dinners. In addition to my usual dinners (burger with no bun, or a chicken and cauliflower rice stir-fry), there had to be a bounty of spinach, broccoli, or other greens. One day I had a green juice, but Bowerman actually wasn't that big of a fan. "I would caution against drinking fruits and vegetables (apple juice and cold-pressed organic greens and kale) rather than eating them," she began. "For the same calories, you could be eating more servings of fruits and vegetables."

While I only had to abide by Bowerman and Clayton's suggestions for a week, I've definitely continued on their food and fitness plans. I find that I have much more sustained energy, and I'm allowing myself to eat more throughout the day. And by focusing on small muscle groups like Clayton said I should, I feel more confident knowing that I'm focusing on injury prevention.

11 Books Written by or About Refugees to Add to Your Summer Reading List

While politicians continue to debate helping refugees while simultaneously refusing to allow them to resettle in the countries they lead, some 65 million people suffer worldwide.

The crisis in Syria has accentuated what harrowing circumstances refugees face, but it's not just happening there: people escaping war, famine, and extreme poverty across the Middle East have sought asylum across Europe in recent years.

Too often the plight of refugees is politicized, as is the case now, but one way to combat misrepresentations of refugees is simply by reading their stories. We asked Amazon book editor Sarah Smith to recommend a few books both about refugees and by refugees to enlighten readers of their stories. Ahead are her choices of poetry, short stories, and novels with a brief description about each selection.
