25 Brides Who Went Modest on Their Wedding Day - and Completely Took Our Breath Away
When we first spotted Nicky Hilton on her wedding day, our jaws nearly fell to the ground. Gone was the revealing white number she wore mere days before, when she accidentally flashed a crowd at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. And in its place? A long, lacy Valentino gown, which one could perfectly describe as "classic" and, above all, "modest."
All of a sudden, our minds went wild. We knew Nicky wasn't the only bride who could pull off this style, so we did a little Insta digging - and found a trove of #ModestBride inspiration.
Read on to see why you might want to consider ditching those strapless options and covering up for your nuptials. These ladies did - and they all looked stunning.
The Touching Reason Princess Diana Wasn't "a Gloves Person"
Princess Diana will forever be our ultimate style icon, but it looks like there was a powerful reason behind one of her most frequent fashion choices. The late Royal often sported gorgeous gowns and eye-catching jewels, but have you ever noticed how she rarely wore gloves? Though Diana did slip on the accessory from time to time, she often broke the royal protocol to send a strong message to the world: her crown didn't separate her from others - even those who had stigmatic diseases.
Back in 1987, the late Princess of Wales shared a gloveless handshake with an AIDS patient in London, a move that wowed the world at a time when many feared the disease. Looking back at the noteworthy moment, her brother, Charles, opened up to People magazine about why Diana chose to make such a bold statement at that moment and during many other moments that followed.
"She was not really a gloves person," he admitted. "She was very real about human contact. And what really mattered that day was to get across a very clear message that, 'I'm going to touch this gentleman - and you can all exist in a community with people who are suffering, and we must help.'"
To honor Diana's royal protocol-smashing style and attitude, let's take a look back at some of her best gloveless moments.

The beauty mogul, who also has a swimsuit collection with her sister Kendall, shared snaps of herself relaxing by her mother's pool in Calabasas.
Kylie wore a string bikini by Minimale Animale that came in this season's most unexpected color: beige. The neutral-hued two-piece features multiple straps along the back and sides. Have a look at her steamy bikinigrams ahead, and buy similar versions if you're feeling inspired.
If This Isn't Melania Trump's Power Color of the Summer, We Don't Know What Is
While we were definitely struck by Melania Trump's vibrant wardrobe for her European tour, if you consider her Summer palette in full, you'll notice plenty of white looks. Some are sheaths, like her go-to Michael Kors Collection silhouette, while others are suits. But it seems like ever since the end of April, Melania has been playing up her glow in the shade. Of course, we don't blame her for choosing the trusty neutral time and time again - she's got plenty of floral pumps to style with monochrome dresses.
When Melania attended a meeting at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, all we could see was the top portion of her form-fitting sheath. Nevertheless, she was clearly striking the same style chords as she has all season long. Read on to track all of Melania's white designs from Summer 2017, which only lead us to wonder: will the trend continue post-Labor Day?

If Mary-Kate Olsen Makes These Summer Shoes Cool Again, She'll Be Everyone's Hero
Mary-Kate Olsen stepped out in New York wearing her signature look: oversize neutral separates, a leather hobo bag, and simple sunglasses. We immediately looked down to her pooling trousers, equipped with an ankle flap at the back. Rather than hiding her footwear, the roomy pants brought attention to Mary-Kate's familiar shoe silhouette. She was wearing The Row's Egon sandal, a design with a flat sole and elastic straps that wrap around the foot just like a classic Teva would.
If Mary-Kate and Ashley's sleek, city-chic version of the comfortable shoe brings it back in style, we certainly won't be complaining. In fact, there are quite a few versions on the market that are reminiscent of a Teva, all of which we can get behind for the season ahead. Scroll for another glimpse at Mary-Kate's effortless outfit, then shop her exact sandals along with similar versions we love. (Teva included.)

"Well, let me tell you. I think I'm pretty much the same but he really enjoys me in a skinny jean, which I loathe. But I think I have more skinny jeans these days than normal," she said.
That doesn't mean Jen doesn't put her own twist on the sleek look. When she does slip into skinnies, she usually tucks the ends into knee-high boots and completes her outfit with a sophisticated blazer. How to Clean Your Makeup Brushes With Household Ingredients
We all know that it's bad for us to use dirty makeup brushes on our skin - come on, you wash your face twice a day, but how often do you actually give your tools the same kind of love? If you've been skipping because you're worried about hurting your brushes, we've got an easy DIY way to clean them all up safely. And don't forget to find the makeup brush that's right for you too!
Ingredients:
Olive oil
Antibacterial soap
Steps:
Step 1: Mix two parts antibacterial dish soap to one part of the extra-virgin olive oil on a clean plate (don't use paper plate, as the oil will seep through).
Step 2: Grab your first brush and wet it slightly with lukewarm water. Make sure the brush stays bristle-side down throughout the entire process. If water gets into the ferrule (the middle tube part that holds everything together) of the brush, it can loosen the glue, causing the bristles to fall out.
Step 3: Dip the damp brush into the soap mixture and coat it thoroughly. Next, work the mixture into the bristles using the palm of your hand and fingers. Continue until the soapy residue is makeup free.
Step 4: Rinse the brushes under lukewarm water until no soap runs from the bristles.
Step 5: Roll a dish towel like you would a yoga mat, and drape a paper towel over it so that most of the paper towel hangs off. (The paper towel should look like a slide coming down from the dish towel). Next, arrange the brush so the top of the handle sits on top of the towel, pitching the rest of the brush down onto the paper towel. This will allow your brushes to dry on a slant, while keeping moisture away from the ferrule.
Repeat with remaining brushes. Some make take two washings to get completely clean, depending on the amount of residue left behind. Allow them to dry overnight, and repeat about once a month.
James Corden Re-creates "The Boy Is Mine" With John Boyega and Oh My God
Just when you thought James Corden couldn't possibly come up with another amazing idea for The Late Late Show (honestly, what could top Carpool Karaoke?), he goes and and taps into one of the '90s biggest anthems. Before there was Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," Brandy and Monica battled it out on the iconic 1998 track "The Boy Is Mine." The late night host decided to put a fresh spin on things on Wednesday by changing the lyrics to "The Boyega Is Mine" and fighting over John Boyega with Transparent actor Jeffrey Tambor. There really are no words, so just take it all in right now.
Matthew McConaughey's Dazed and Confused Audition Is Everything You Want It to Be
Let us not forget: before Matthew McConaughey creeped us out in True Detective, charmed us in a slew of romantic comedies, and took home an Academy Award, he starred in a little coming-of-age film called Dazed and Confused. In celebration of The Criterion Collection's release of the 1993 Richard Linklater film, the company released Matthew's epic audition tape. It's everything you want it to be, as he completely embodies Texan slacker Dave Wooderson and delivers two of his infamous lines: "It'd be a lot cooler if you did" and "That's what I love about these high school girls, man. I get older - they stay the same age." Watch the video above now, and be prepared to crack a huge smile.

I Made Dirt-Cheap Meals For a Week, and Here’s How I Survived
One day, while feeling particularly dismal about spending yet another $100 on groceries for the week in San Francisco, I read a post that forever changed my outlook on food expenditures: "This Story of How 1 Woman Saved $30,000 in 8 Months Will Motivate You (and Crack You Up!)." I laughed! I cried! It motivated me to get to work. While dumpster diving won't be my method of saving money on food, I had a profound realization: my fridge, pantry, and freezer probably contained enough food to feed me for "free" for at least several weeks, so I set out to only eat from items I already owned. The reserves lasted me well over a week, and in all honesty, I'm still working on clearing it out. Check yours and you'll likely discover an astonishing amount of food that's gathering dust and ice chips. Like me, you may have avoided this food for months. But, when I challenged myself to be creative, I came up with some tasty ways to straight-up survive off of it. You will too, once you read my tips.
Dry vs. Dehydrated Skin: Which Do You Really Have?
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Maria del Rio
Dry skin and dehydrated skin are the same, right? Wrong. The two are very different when it comes to skin care, though you can even have both dry and dehydrated skin at the same time. The approach to resolving these skin care issues is important, as you might be using products for dry skin when yours is actually dehydrated (or vice versa), which just aggravates your skin care woes. Confused yet? Don't be, we spoke to Bioderma's skin care expert, Emilie Montassier, to give us all facts and science for the best skin solutions yet.
How Dry and Dehydrated Skins Differ
Dry skin is a skin type (much like oily or combination skin) that is caused due to lack of lipids. Montassier says the "main issue here is that the skin barrier is impaired," meaning the lipid levels are lacking causing severe dryness (not an ideal skin situation!) "Dry skin can be dehydrated, whereas dehydrated skin is not necessarily dry but could also be oily or combination" Montassier clarifies. Dehydrated skin is very different, noting that "we can't consider dehydrated skin as a skin type but more as a temporary state," it lacks water both internally and externally. Dehydrated skin is "a very common problem affecting all genders and skin types."
Causes
As previously mentioned, dry skin is caused by a loss of lipids due to a problem with the skins barrier so "the skin loses more water than usual and also becomes dehydrated." Dry skin can be worsened by using the wrong skin care, likewise not using any skin care at all can have a big impact on your skin health. Hormonal changes can also wreak havoc on the skin. Genetics can play a role in skin types too; some people are prone to dry skin more than others. Whereas, dehydrated skin is caused by a "mix of internal and external factors such as environment (wind and cold), social factors (smoking and alcohol), and emotional factors (stress)." Keep your showers at a reasonable heat and the central heating down, and both your bank account and skin will thank you for it. Another main factor contributing to dehydrated skin is lack of hydration inside the body: not drinking enough water! It is the most overused skin care tip but most important. Your skin needs internal hydration to externally benefit from it.
Symptoms
"Dry skin suffers from possible itching, discomfort, scales, roughness, and even cracks in the skin." Sufferers may also find that it is irritated easily, even from the most gentle products. Montassier highlights that dehydrated skin symptoms often leave the skin in a state of "tightness, discomfort, loss of radiance, increased facial lines, and cause trouble for biological functions such as the bodies healing process." You may also find that your skin feels dehydrated but can also look oily, and you may still get breakouts despite the tight feeling. You might also find that your makeup becomes patchy throughout the day.
Products
Bioderma's Atoderm range is perfect for those with dry to very dry skin as it "supplies the lack of lipids and helps the skin to produce its own lipids thanks to the products Skin Protect complex, which also rehydrates the skin." Montassier recommends using a "daily gentle cleanser that increases lipid levels, like the Atoderm Shower Gel ($20) and Oil. ($11)" The Atoderm Moisturising Cream will "act on lipids and water levels." All products from the Atoderm range are suitable for face and body from birth.
For dehydrated skin, Montassier recommends using the Hydrabio Range due to the Aquagenium patent inside. She recommends using the Hydrabio Serum ($25) underneath the Hydrabio Eau de Soin to "fight daily pollution and fix makeup."

Leslie Jones Freaks the F*ck Out After a Game of Thrones Cast Member Surprises Her
You might think you're a big Game of Thrones fan, but few people can compare to the enthusiasm displayed by Leslie Jones each Sunday. The Saturday Night Live comedian stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday for episode two of their "Game of Jones" segment, which proved once again that there is truly nothing more enjoyable than watching Jones lose her damn mind over the show. She and Meyers watched season seven episode "The Spoils of War" together, where she had some incredible observations about Game of Thrones characters:
- "Bronn is the dude in the hood who knows where all the $1 cigarettes are."
- "Man, he's high. Always out here by the tree. Spaced out. What is you smokin', Bran?"
- "Theon is a coward. He's a coward! I don't care if you got no dick. You did wrong!"
- "Varys is like the girlfriend who you don't really know if she's your homegirl or not. One minute she's supporting you and got your back, but the next minute you hear about some bullsh*t she said to someone else about you."
After making her comment about Varys, the late-night host gave her the mother of all surprises when he brought out real-life Varys, actor Conleth Hill, to watch the rest of the episode with them. Helpful tip while you're watching: don't drink anything, because you'll immediately spit it out from laughing so hard.
The Details About Princess Diana's Untimely Death Are Still Shocking, Almost 20 Years Later
Image Source: Getty / Anwar Hussein
Princess Diana passed away in a tragic car accident in August 1997, and it's hard to believe that she's been gone for almost 20 years. The fascinating royal, whose beautiful legacy is constantly carried out by her two children, Prince William and Prince Harry, was only 36 years old when she died. After vacationing with her partner, Dodi Fayed, on his father's yacht on the French and Italian Riviera, the couple stopped in Paris on their way back to London. They had only planned on staying for one night, but everything changed shortly after midnight on Aug. 31, 1997. Diana and Dodi left the Hôtel Ritz and were being driven to Dodi's father's nearby apartment by Henri Paul, the hotel's deputy head of security. In order to avoid the paparazzi, Diana, who was one of the most photographed people in the world at the time, had a decoy vehicle leave from the hotel's main entrance while the black 1994 Mercedes-Benz S280 she was in left from the back of the hotel. Diana and Dodi sat in the back, while Trevor Rees-Jones, Dodi's bodyguard, was in the front passenger seat.
Just three minutes after leaving the hotel, Henri entered the Alma underpass, the embankment road along the River Seine, to avoid approaching paparazzi. He then lost control of the car, which was reportedly traveling at 65 mph (the speed limit inside the tunnel is 30 mph), and smashed into the 13th pillar of the tunnel. None of the passengers were wearing seat belts. Dodi and Henri were killed instantly, Trevor suffered serious facial injuries from the air bags (he is the sole survivor of the crash), and Diana was extracted from the car and treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. After undergoing surgery, doctors discovered massive internal injuries, including a large tear in her superior pulmonary vein where it enters the heart. She was pronounced dead less than two hours later. It was later revealed that Henri, the driver of the car, had a blood-alcohol level three times the French legal limit at the time of the crash.

Since Diana's tragic death, the public's love for her hasn't wavered. In the years after 2.5 billion people tuned in to watch her funeral, Prince William and Prince Harry have continued their mother's charity work. In addition to opening up about how "angry" they were after her death, the two royals have made sure that her policy of caring for those who need it most is still met. Prince Harry has also said that he hopes his mother is proud of the work they're doing, and we're sure she is.

Everything We Know About the Remake of Stephen King's Masterpiece, It
Eight years after first announcing plans to revive Stephen King's It, the remake is on the calendar, release date and all. As the literary horror classic (about an ancient evil entity that most often takes the form of an clown) crawls along toward its release, we're scrounging up as many details as possible. By the time the new adaptation drops, nearly 27 years will have passed since the novel first came to life in the form of an ABC special - which, coincidentally, is almost exactly how long Pennywise the Clown lies dormant in the novel before rising again to start a new reign of terror. With It looming ominously in our cinematic future, it's high time we unearth exactly what you're in for.
Yes, Mark Zuckerberg Hired a Former Hillary Clinton Staffer, but He's Not Running For President
Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Facebook who's currently on a tour of the US to meet with real, everyday Americans, is not running for president. Sure, there's a super PAC that really wants him to run, and he continues to hire former political strategists like Joel Benenson, a former Hillary Clinton pollster. But despite his many photo ops, the man is not gearing up for a presidential run. If anything, Zuckerberg will set his sights on a more achievable local contest, such as San Francisco's mayoral race in 2019.
Why does everyone think Zuckerberg is running for president?
Currently, Zuckerberg has three former political strategists working for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, an organization he founded with his wife that's devoted to "advancing human potential and promoting equality." Benenson and his company, Benenson Strategy Group, will join the organization as consultants for a single project. He'll be working with former President Barack Obama's 2008 campaign manager, David Plouffe, who serves as the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative's president of policy and advocacy, and Amy Dudley, the former communications adviser to Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia. Zuckerberg's personal photographer is also Charles Ommanney, who served as photographer for the George W. Bush and Obama campaigns.
Outside of these hires, Zuckerberg's tour of the US has also produced numerous campaign-trail-style photos, such as gutting a fish with Alaskan locals, hanging out with truck drivers in Iowa, and grabbing Iftar dinner with Somali refugees in Minneapolis. All of the photos capture Zuckerberg looking normal and having fun, though in reality there are several rules one must adhere to when meeting Zuckerberg, so it's unlikely things were as tranquil as they seem. The giddy earnestness captured in these moments serves to reveal a different side to Zuckerberg, one that's grounded outside of Silicon Valley and CEO meetings, putting him smack-dab in the minds of "normal" people who exist in the US, those who most likely use Facebook every day.
Why would Zuckerberg run for a local race first?
Zuckerberg believes in the power of community, or so he insinuated at the Facebook Community Summit in June. This sentiment is also reflected in Facebook's new mission statement: "Give people the power to build community and bring the world closer together." It's therefore more likely that he'd pin his hopes on local races, where he can talk to the community both directly and through Facebook groups. Besides, if Zuckerberg were to run locally, he'd have an easier time convincing people to vote for him. His audience, after all, includes people who live nearby and work in tech companies themselves.
Most importantly, the 2020 presidential race is going to be a total rat race. Contenders are already contemplating throwing their hats into the ring, and President Donald Trump has even started to fundraise. Zuckerberg wouldn't bet his future on such convoluted odds.
What race would he run for?
Zuckerberg could start small, run for a seat on San Francisco's Board of Supervisors, but he'll most likely go for something like the 2019 San Francisco mayoral race. Sure, Zuckerberg will face a ton of critics, especially among those who oppose the tech shuttle buses or the pricing out of locals in the housing market due to companies like Facebook. But, if current San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee won reelection despite these valid criticisms, what's to stop constituents from voting in someone like Zuckerberg?
So for now, keep an eye on Zuckerberg's tour of America and his earnest Facebook Live videos. It's still too early for us to predict that Zuckerberg will relocate the White House to Palo Alto someday, but you heard it here first.

If Kendall Jenner's Summer Dress Was in Your Closet, You'd Wear It to Every Party
At first glance, Kendall Jenner's minidress is kind of a mystery. Is it all one piece or an outfit combination the supermodel threw together at the last second, before she headed out the door to her sister Kylie's birthday party? When she was standing alongside the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner pack, Kendall's look definitely stood out as the ultimate party dress.
Sure it was short, and Kendall amped up the sexy factor with a pair of heels, but it also looked movable and comfortable thanks to the sleeveless sweater top. Since we might even style this number with a pair of sneakers for Sunday brunch, we made it our task to re-create the ensemble. Read on to zoom in on the details, then see how you can simply add a crochet bralette or crop top to your favorite slitted LBD to steal the show with very little effort.

Beyoncé Has Curves For Days While Catching a Kendrick Lamar Concert
Beyoncé has curves for days, and she isn't afraid to flaunt them. Nearly two months after giving birth to twins Rumi and Sir, the singer, who is also mom to Blue Ivy, took some time off from baby duty to attend Kendrick Lamar's concert in LA on Sunday. Of course, in true Beyoncé form, the night wouldn't be complete without an impromptu photo shoot. Rocking a pair of black daisy dukes and a cropped yellow t-shirt, Queen Bey showed off her toned legs and flat stomach as she posed for the camera. Seriously, get ready to have your jaw drop to the floor.
This Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Music Video Stars David Hasselhoff and It's Just . . . Wow
Up until this moment, I had no idea how badly I needed a music video starring David Hasselhoff and the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 cast in my life. Luckily the movie's director, James Gunn, did us all a favor by convincing the Hollywood powers that be to let him make one, and it's incredible. The gloriously cheesy, trippy video (directed by David Yarovesky) features a song titled "Guardians Inferno," as well as appearances from franchise stars Zoe Saldana, Sean Gunn, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, and Karen Gillan, all of whom are decked out in some hilarious '70s costumes (and really bad wigs).
Exclusive: Chris Pratt Is Exactly the Guy You Want Him to Be Behind the Scenes of Guardians 2
Gunn briefly pops up in the clip himself, as does Jimmy Kimmel Live's Guillermo Rodriguez, Marvel legend Stan Lee, and, of course, Hasselhoff. The Baywatch icon belts out the song before closing the video with some sage advice ("Just remember, in these times of hardship: We. Are. Groot."). Gunn also wrangled Star Lord (aka Chris Pratt) for a breathless appearance at the end of the video, so check it out above to see if you can spot him!
10 Struggles of Being a Latinx Who Doesn't Speak Spanish
A Latinx who doesn't speak Spanish: for some, it's like spotting a unicorn. No, actually, not really (contrary to the reactions you might get upon sharing this detail about yourself with people), it's reported that the number of Latinx who only speak English is increasing.
You know that your identity as a Latinx is not tied to your language skills, but some you encounter might have a few issues with that, responding with surprise and perhaps maybe even one or two rude comments. If you're a Latinx who only speaks English, read ahead for some struggles you might recognize very well.
These Cross-Stitch Hoops Perfectly Capture Your Most Subversive Salty Thoughts
Home decor embellished with words and phrases tends to be a bit, well, cutesy. That's why we were tickled to see artisans take cross-stitch hoops - an old-fashioned and traditionally proper style of decor - and sew subversive sayings onto them. It would be so easy to glance at these handmade works of art mounted on a wall or resting on a shelf and not notice their hilariously salty messages. But it's so much more fun when you look closely and take notice. Check out our favorites ahead, and then decide which one you'll boldly hang on your wall!
These Photos of a "Pink Rainbow" Will Make You Believe in Real Magic
Rainbows are associated with a slew of beautiful colors - but pink isn't one of them. So when a pink rainbow showed up around Bristol, England, recently, it definitely stopped people in their tracks.
According to BBC, the optical illusion of a pink rainbow is created when a regular rainbow and a pink sunset happen to occur at the same time. The phenomenon is rare but undeniably stunning. Those in the area took to Instagram to share images of the beautiful moment - see the photos ahead.

There are some brides who ask guests to unplug at their wedding, and some who ask guests to go all out with the photo snapping and sharing. Instead of the more standard conventions you've probably seen all over the place, we bring you 21 unique, creative ideas you haven't thought of. Yes! Brand New Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Goodies Will Be in Grocery Stores Soon!
Starbucks wants everyone to forget about Summer and embrace the impending Fall months, and to do that, it's already rolling out pumpkin spice products in grocery stores. Yes, I am serious. Brand new for this season are the ready to drink Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Flavored Ground Coffee. Both options will be available at your local grocery store starting later this month.
The new Pumpkin Spice Latte is just like what you'll find in coffee shops - coffee with cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove spices, and milk. Earlier this year, Starbucks launched the bottled iced latte line that it continues to add to seasonally, so naturally PSL would be a wise choice for the collection.
The ground coffee, like the latte, will have the same flavor notes - pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg - and is the lightest roast Starbucks offers. In addition to the brand-new pumpkin goodies, grocery stores will also carry returning favorites like Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Caffe Latte K-Cup Pods, Starbucks Iced Espresso Classics Pumpkin Spice Latte, Starbucks Via Instant Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Chilled Coffee Drinks.
So while we don't know yet when the real-deal PSL will be back in Starbucks stores, we do know we can get our hands on the next best thing in grocery stores very soon . . . who's excited?

Kate Middleton and Princess Diana Received This 1 Piece of Jewelry More Precious Than Diamonds
Just like the late Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton owns plenty of precious diamond jewels and tiaras. While many of them have been physically passed down from Queen Elizabeth II or Princess Diana, who wore her fair share of bling, there were times Kate and Diana forwent gemstones and pearls for a simple engraved pendant.
Diana's circle plate was etched with "William" and was a gift from Prince Charles after the birth of their son in 1982. Meanwhile, it's reported that Pippa bought Kate her own version from London boutique Merci Maman, confirmed on a company blog post:
"Family was one of the closest things to Diana's heart so it's no surprise that this shone through in her jewelery, featuring personalized pieces and meaningful charms . . . In 2013, Pippa Middleton continued this family tradition by giving her sister Kate, The Duchess of Cambridge, our Personalized Duchess Necklace to celebrate the birth of Prince George. Featuring a hand-engraved disc with the Prince's full name, a small boy charm and a heart engraved with a 'W' to represent Prince William."
Read on to get a closer look at both sentimental chains on Kate and Diana, then shop the exact design should you want to start the trend in your own family.
Zendaya's Sparkly Pink Suit Is From an Awesome Brand You Didn't Know Existed
When Zendaya stepped onto the carpet at the Variety Power of Young Hollywood event in LA, we were blown away by her ombré-effect, crystal-covered suit that came in the sprightly color of millennial pink. Of course, this is our usual reaction upon spotting Zendaya. The 20-year-old works with stylist Law Roach, who also comes up with outfits equally as eye-catching for Celine Dion. For this particular evening, Roach tapped Italian brand Vivetta for Zendaya's scene-stealing separates, capping them off with a pair of Ruthie Davis heels and Effy Jewelry rings.
Zendaya wore the look with confidence, as she does all her wow-worthy ensembles. Vivetta has been around since 2009, but upon first glance, we might have guessed Zendaya's sparkly suit was by Gucci or Prada. When you read on, you can zoom in on all the design's little details, then find similarly playful, spunky pieces from the label you might only be getting to know just now.
When It Comes to Handbags, Royals Love Toting Around This Sleek, Classic Style
If there's one thing the princesses and queens have in common, it's their affinity for a good, structured handbag. The royals each have their own power-woman version in a range of colors. Kate Middleton keeps a Victoria Beckham satchel in her bag rotation while Queen Letizia favors an all-black Hugo Boss accessory for serious meetings. This everyday tote is so versatile, we even spotted royals carrying them to Fashion Week. You'll easily recognize this classic style once you see it. Ahead, see how your favorite ladies wore their bags and then invest in similar structured versions we picked out.
The 5 Biggest Mistakes You Make When Getting in Shape For Summer
It's the end of July and the sun is out! It's natural to start thinking about a few weeks by the beach, hot weather, and, invariably, the thought of being "ready" for Summer creeps in, whatever that means. As a trainer, I believe that we should feel comfortable and happy all the time - body positivity is very important! But I also know that being healthy and feeling good is important too. And, yes, some women want to look good by losing weight or toning up - and that's OK! The problem lies in equating looking good with being slim. This constant pursuit of trying to look our best can be stressful, so instead, focus on feeling your best by eliminating these quick fixes from your life and focusing on sustainable changes.
1. Crash dieting
You know the drill. That blissful upcoming beach vacation, where cocktails and sunshine are imminent. You panic and decide to starve yourself in the hope that you'll lose weight quickly, but, well, you can guess the results: you lose couple of pounds, feel awful, and just want to stuff your face full of doughnuts. Crash diets never work.
The emergency fix? Replace refined carbs with leafy greens. After a week of replacing carbs with healthy veggies, not only you will feel lighter and less hungry between meals, but your cravings for sweets and snacks will diminish.
2. Body sculpting
It's not unheard of to want toned thighs, slimmer arms, and a flat belly, but trying to spot tone is a huge waste of time. When done alone, isolated exercises rarely trigger the results you want.
The emergency fix? Stick with big, compound exercises that work the whole body like squats, push-ups, or deadlifts. Focus on intensity and make these part of a well-rounded fitness routine. Your muscles will respond by becoming stronger and more toned, and you'll also feel more energized.
3. Only doing cardio
In general, too much cardio is not the most effective way to get fit. Exercise should be about making your body adapt, and too much cardio prevents your body from making lean muscle. Without strength training, you miss out on building long, lean, and toned limbs.
The emergency fix? When doing cardio, focus on high-intensity interval training. Hill sprints, kettlebell swings, and jumping rope will burn fat while also building - and maintaining - lean muscle. You can also pack in an intense workout in only 10 to 20 minutes, which is a huge bonus if you find an hour on a treadmill or elliptical boring.
4. Too much of the same thing
Your body adapts to exercise quickly, and when it gets used to the same routine over and over, fat loss and muscle toning taper off.
The emergency fix? Mix it up and try something new. Sure, it might be a bit awkward, but ask anyone about their first yoga class. It's likely that they couldn't get into Downward Dog without a bit of a struggle either. However, the challenge and learning process of something new makes your body work harder, resulting in a boost to your fitness.
5. Worrying about the idea of a "bikini body"
Putting effort into something and not seeing results straight away is very, very frustrating. You begin to wonder if there's any point and you start to doubt yourself. All this results in extra stress. And how does your body react to this? By demanding comfort food and lazy days in.
The emergency fix? This is the time to remember that every body is a "bikini body." It's more important to feel good about yourself and focus on the benefits of being healthy and happy all year round. Turn your personal body positivity up to full volume and remember that being healthy is a state of mind not defined by a two-piece outfit.

Giada De Laurentiis Reveals the 1 Surprising Ingredient She Adds to Pasta
Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis is known for celebrating her Italian heritage through her cooking. So naturally, she was the perfect woman to host the New York Wine and Food Festival's Italian Table event in New York City.

I caught up with her inside the Giada Vegas booth to chat about pasta, the importance of learning how to cook "lemon spaghetti" (which somehow sounds so much more enticing when she says it with her Italian accent), and the basic supplies to keep stocked for quality Italian fare. Giada's booth was swarmed with crowds all night long, where she was busy personally handing out her delicious muffuletta sandwich to throngs of devoted fans. Seriously, I'll be thinking about that sandwich for at least the rest of the week.

On the 1 Surprising Ingredient She Adds to Pasta
"Chocolate! Short rib with chocolate. I'm actually making it tomorrow night for dinner."
On the 5 Staples She Thinks Everybody Should Keep Stocked in Their Pantry
"Pasta, jarred tomato sauce, whatever kind you like. I like Rao's or Mutti, but Mutti is harder to find. Garlic, olive oil, and red pepper flakes."
On Her Favorite Go-To Breakfast on Busy Days
"I do brown rice, with olive oil and salt. I like a carb for breakfast, and I like a savory breakfast. If you start your day with sugar, you're jacked for the rest of the day. I get up really early in the morning, so I need a carbohydrate. So I'll do 1/4 cup of brown rice, with warm olive oil and salt. At my restaurant I do oatmeal, olive oil, salt, and marcona almonds for protein."
Rihanna Has Had Just as Many Transformations as She Has Hit Singles
There are so many things to love about Rihanna: her nonstop hits, her impeccable style, her unapologetic, carefree personality - and she's only gotten better. Over the years, the 29-year-old singer has kept us on our toes with her many transformations, both musically and sartorially, and we can't get enough. From her Good Girl Gone Bad days to now, it's clear Rihanna has been work, work, working the industry for quite some time now.
Guys, There Are Only 9 Episodes Left of Game of Thrones EVER
This season of Game of Thrones is already one of the best - with it being the second-to-last season, sh*t's been going down, but I think all of the exciting events are kind of distracting from us from something truly heartbreaking: the show is almost over FOREVER. Last year we learned that the final two seasons would consist of 13 episodes; seven for the current seventh season, and a paltry six for the final season.
So let me remind you how few episodes we actually have left: nine. Nine! Nine. That's right, this weekend's episode will be the fifth episode of season seven, then two more after it. Three total left until we're Game of Thrones-less for another entire year. But that's not even as sad as the fact that when season eight is finally back in 2018, there will be fewer episodes in the season than ever before, and on top of that, it will be the last season ever. I guess we still have those spinoffs to look forward to, but still: it's appropriate to start the despairing now.
