Is This Baby Photo Internet Trend Innocent or Too Suggestive?
Even before the internet popularized the peach emoji to insinuate a derrière, there was an association between the two. Butts do resemble peaches; it's undeniable. When Japanese photo-printing company Kodomono launched a social media campaign that asked Instagramers to post pictures of peaches over their babies' bare bums, people's reactions were mixed. Some invoked Kim Kardashian, while others took the trend for what it is: adorable. Or apparently others have never noticed the likeness.
While the viral trend is a little cheeky, Kim Kardashian can hardly be associated with all things peaches. Nor are all butts sexualized. Sure, sometimes there are racy behind photos, but that doesn't make these any less innocent - or reminiscent of Kim Kardashian. Kodomono has evidently just taken advantage of an adored and enduring cliché to promote its brand. Peach on!
Kesha's Rainbow Is Full of Bangers and Hymns, and It May Be the Most Important Album of the Year
Kesha's legal battle didn't just capture headlines and our collective attention as she fought to be released by her label to avoid working with the man who had allegedly sexually assaulted her. It threatened to define her - and overshadow her career. Now, despite the legal setbacks in her case, Kesha has earned an incredible triumph with the release of her new album, Rainbow. It's officially Kesha's third studio album, but there's something so phoenix-like about it; this is the Kesha we know, and yet it's a side we hadn't necessarily seen this clearly yet, at least musically.
With Rainbow, the talented songwriter has possibly delivered the album of her career with tracks that are vulnerable, honest, cathartic, and yes, total bangers. The range and variety of the tracks are impressive, but even more so is the fact that it's still a completely cohesive album. But enough about how incredible the album is on the whole - let's talk about which songs truly make Rainbow one of 2017's best albums.
"Bastards"
"Don't let the bastards get you down," Kesha sings, as much for you as for herself. The opening track is a low-key f*ck you anthem and reminder to keep your head up. It's the perfect way to kick off this collection of her work.
"Hymn"
Another song that offers comfort and camaraderie, "Hymn," rallies the hopeless to become hopeful - and with Kesha's raw vocals (and bangin' chorus), it succeeds.
"Praying"
Kesha's first single off of Rainbow may be the most direct missive about her very public personal struggle with Dr. Luke. Even without context, this song is a goosebump-inciting, satisfying ballad that you have to turn all the way up.
"Woman"
You don't have to be a "motherf*ckin' WOMAN" to love this song, but goddamn, if you are, this is your new mantra. It's powerful, rocking, and so much fun, and if you're like me, you haven't been able to stop playing it since the single came out.
"Rainbow"
Kesha's title track has a lot to live up to, and it does. Neither the album's loudest roar (that'd be "Woman") nor the most mournful exhale (that's "Praying"), it instead has its own subtle beauty. It's stunning without being too showy.
"Godzilla"
Accompanied by just a guitar, Kesha takes a metaphor that's almost silly and makes it a brilliantly searing satire (that's also really fun to sing along to).
"Spaceship"
The final track has old-school country twang with old-school country heartbreak behind it. She's given us everything with this album, she seems to say, but also communicates that the more we take, the more she grows.
The 1 Tragic Callback You Missed on This Week's Game of Thrones
While the other major Game of Thrones characters have been preparing themselves for the danger that lies ahead of them, Sam has been at the Citadel all season, studying to become maester of the Night's Watch. But he appears to have a change of heart in the fifth episode, when he packs up and leaves the Citadel, citing that he's "tired of reading about the accomplishments of better men." His parting words probably rang familiar for some people, as that line was actually a callback to something his father, Randyll Tarly - one of two casualties in the latest episode - once told him.
Back in season six, in a scene that it still hurts to watch, Sam's father rips into him not only because he returns from Castle Black with Gilly, a wildling girl, but also because of his decision to journey to the Citadel to study to become a maester. Randyll holds nothing back as he expresses his disappointment in Sam, calling him a coward and practically disowning him because of how much Sam's choices differ from those of his father and brother.
Though spending time at the Citadel sounds like a less-than-heroic storyline, it should be noted that, despite what his father makes of it in season six, Sam's time in Oldtown is way more important to the overall storyline. His main reason for studying to become a grand maester is so that he can read up on more information about the White Walkers as they slowly make their way past the Wall - and there's definitely not a better place for him to do that than a giant library.
Though the maesters at the Citadel weren't exactly very helpful during his quest for knowledge, hopefully Sam's decision to leave doesn't deter him from what he came to do there in the first place. It'd be sad to see him actually discourage himself and believe his father's harsh words.
How Cersei's "Good" News May Finally Turn Her Into the Mad Queen
Sometimes you can see a Game of Thrones twist coming years before it actually happens. Come on . . . was anyone really surprised when Jon Snow's parents were revealed in season six? Cersei's pregnancy is not one of those twists. In Sunday night's episode, "Eastwatch," Qyburn confirms Cersei is pregnant and tactfully offers her something to deal with the issue, but she declines. Does that mean Cersei is really expecting again? Almost certainly, but it may not be good news for the queen.
There is a palpable shift in Cersei's attitude in this episode. She actually allows her little brother Tyrion into the castle to meet with Jaime, and she is entertaining the thought of speaking with Daenerys. Suddenly, Cersei sees a future for herself and Jaime that is a happy one. The joy on her face when she tells Jaime the world will know he's the father of her child is real. After losing her three children, the Lannister Queen now has a reason to hope for a new beginning, but allowing herself to hope could be her downfall.
Maggy's prophecy still looms over Cersei's story. The wood witch from season five promises a young Cersei that she will have three children and "gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds." The deaths of Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen all come to pass just as Maggy predicts. There's no mention of a fourth child, which suggests Cersei will not carry this baby to term. That begs the question: why bother making Cersei pregnant at all? And the answer is simple enough: to finally push her fully over the edge.
Ever since she blew up the Great Sept of Baelor, fans have been predicting that Cersei would become the Mad Queen. So far, she's been stable enough. She certainly wants to destroy Daenerys's army, and her goal of uniting the realm to make sure the Dragon Queen doesn't take her position of power remains her focus. All of her interactions with Jaime suggest she wants to build a world where no one can tell them what they can and cannot do anymore. They are lions, after all, and she's heeding her father's advice about not worrying about the opinions of the sheep. As ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, she is finally in a position in which she doesn't have to answer to anyone, and that's all Cersei has ever wanted.
Now that she has a new baby on the way, Cersei has even more of a reason to seek peace with Daenerys. In her mind, she can finally have a happy ending, but if that beautiful image in her head is destroyed, so will be the last vestiges of her humanity. Right now, Jaime and the baby are keeping her grounded. But if Jon succeeds in bringing a White Walker to King's Landing, then Jaime may be inclined to join the fight to stop the fall of Westeros. Cersei doesn't warn her brother never to betray her again for no reason. One way or another, Cersei seems destined to lose Jaime, and this reality compounded with a miscarriage could push her over the edge.
Her children are everything to her, and she has yet to truly grieve over Tommen. Losing a fourth child could be her undoing and lead to the birth of the true Mad Queen. If Cersei's hope for the future is crushed, then she will be more than happy to watch the world burn around her. In fact, she may once again light the match.
This Is How Old Elvis Presley Would Be Today
It's been almost 40 years since we lost Elvis Presley, and the upcoming anniversary of his death has sparked renewed interest in his life. One question that people always seem to ask is how old the rock and roll superstar would be now. Elvis was born on Jan. 8, 1935, in Tupelo, MS, to parents Gladys and Vernon Presley, and he was 42 years old when he tragically passed away from a heart attack on Aug. 16, 1977. This means Elvis would be 82 years old if he were alive.
Elvis usually celebrated his birthdays quietly with friends at his Graceland mansion in Memphis, TN, and since his passing, the Memphis and Shelby County Mayors have continued the tradition by holding an annual party called the Elvis Birthday Proclamation Ceremony on Jan. 8.

Diana's Age When She Married Prince Charles Might Make You Feel Uncomfortable
It's hard to forget the momentous occasion that was Princess Diana and Prince Charles's wedding. The two tied the knot in a ceremony only fit for royalty in July 1981 with an estimated 750 million people watching around the world. While there were hints leading up to their wedding that showed cracks in the fairy tale the public wanted to believe was coming true, everyone seemed genuinely happy and excited for the new addition to the royal family. During ABC's recent The Story of Diana: Part One special, historians and those closest to the royal family spoke about Charles's journey to find a wife.
While he spent a few years being a playboy, he knew he "needed to find a virgin" to marry, and that meant he had to look for someone young. The prince had already had a relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles (then Camilla Shand), which meant she basically ruled herself out as a possibility because they had already slept together. Charles then began dating Diana after breaking up with her older sister. While they seemed to enjoy each other's company, they had only gone on 12 dates before he proposed. The prince thought he had found the right virginal and impressionable woman to make his princess and told friends that he would learn to love Diana in time.
Charles was 32 years old when they tied the knot, while Diana had only just turned 20. The age difference, as well as Charles's frequent questionable behavior, soon got in the way. They two went on to have an extremely tumultuous relationship before Queen Elizabeth II ordered them to get a divorce. While large age differences are nothing new in Hollywood (and are never a big deal), the fact that the prince wanted someone he could easily influence is a bit off-putting.

This Fiery Dance to Harry Styles's "Kiwi" Is Giving Us So Much Life Right Now
The best song on Harry Styles by Harry Styles is "Kiwi," no doubt, according to me. I fully intend to rage when I hear it live when Harry goes on tour this Fall, and now I know exactly what moves to learn and bust out at the concerts, thanks to choreographer Galen Hooks. She and the rest of this talented crew at LA's Millennium Dance Complex just dropped this sexy routine, and as a fan of Harry's, it has me wishing that he had some ability to dance so he could join in. However, as danceable as "Kiwi" is - he's screaming about having babies and it's no one else's business, after all - I feel pretty confident that Harry won't be trying any of Galen's choreography anytime soon. It's no matter: we have this video, as well as others from the talented dancers at Millennium, to get us on our feet.

What Happened on Game of Thrones This Week? 30 Seriously Insane Things, For Starters
Major Game of Thrones spoilers below!
Warning: you might have trouble breathing after watching the fifth episode of Game of Thrones season seven, because it's one INSANE ride. Although "Eastwatch" doesn't have quite as much firepower as "The Spoils of War," it manages to squeeze in, oh, about a million bombshells. From the truth about Jon Snow's parentage and a jaw-dropping pregnancy announcement to the fact that a certain character is incredibly hot now, the episode is action-packed, to say the least. Relive each and every shocking moment below to help you prepare for what's coming next week.
Robert Pattinson Might Not Be a Vampire Anymore, but We're Still Thirsty For Him
It's the (breaking) dawn of a new Robert Pattinson era, and the actor is honestly looking better than ever. Following his massive Twilight stardom, Rob starred in a few high-profile movies while managing to slowly fade from the forefront of the spotlight. But so far in 2017, he seems to be going out and about more as he promotes his upcoming project, Good Time. And it's been a good time, indeed. Aside from giving us sweet glimpses of his romance with FKA Twigs, the 31-year-old has been heating up the red carpet with his smoldering good looks, effortlessly sexy style, and yes, his perfectly tousled head of hair. We're only halfway through the year, but it's clear that 2017 is going to be a big one for Robert.
Game of Thrones: What Gilly's Discovery About Jon Snow Actually Means
Jon Snow is a bastard no more. At least that seems to be the takeaway from Gilly's exploration of High Septon Maynard's diary. In between counting the number of steps in the Citadel and keeping a record of all of his bowel movements, the High Septon also slips in a tiny but important detail about Prince Rhaegar. According to the diary, Daenerys's brother had his first marriage annulled in Dorne so that he would be free to marry another woman. Unfortunately, Sam has an outburst before Gilly can officially read off the name of Rhaegar's second wife, but it's safe to say that he legally weds Lyanna Stark before she gives birth to their son, who grows up to be Jon Snow. This is a major moment for Game of Thrones, and it positions Jon to be a true threat to Daenerys's claim to the Iron Throne before the series ends.
Neither Gilly nor Sam grasps the importance of this passage. The information is offered up for the audience alone, although there is a small chance one of them will remember Rhaegar's story once the truth of Jon's parentage comes out. And, hey, Sam takes quite a few books from the Citadel before he packs up with Gilly and Little Sam to head back to Jon's side . . . High Septon Maynard's diary of exposition might be among them.
Gilly's innocent question - "What does 'annulment' mean?" - changes everything for the show's key players. Let's take a closer look at what Jon's legitimacy means for Game of Thrones moving forward.
Jon Snow Is the Rightful King of Westeros
His entire life, Jon has been known as Ned Stark's bastard. That title made him the man he is today, but it turns out everything he bases his identity on is wrong. His parents are Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, and he's their true-born son. That makes Jon the rightful King of Westeros. As Rhaegar's only living son, the rules of succession dictate that the Iron Throne is Jon's by right. Daenerys is Rhaegar's sister and has a lesser claim than her brother's legitimate son, according to the laws of the Seven Kingdoms.
Whether or not Jon wants to wear the crown is an entirely different question, and it's one he may have to ponder at some point. There's no way to know how Jon will react when the truth of his parentage is revealed to him. To learn that he's neither Ned's son nor a bastard is sure to leave him wondering exactly what kind of life he could have had. It may also make him contemplate the good he could do for Westeros if he accepts his fate as the true ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.
Daenerys Is Not Next in Line For the Throne
Daenerys's actions since the death of her brother, Viserys, have all been based on the presumption that she is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. She believes she is the last Targaryen in the world and the throne is her birthright. The truth is now much more complicated. She is a Targaryen, but she has no more right to rule the Seven Kingdoms than Cersei, at least not in the eyes of the law. As Rhaegar's legitimate son, Jon comes before her in the line of succession.
Just because the law isn't on her side doesn't mean Daenerys will simply give up on her goal of leading Westeros. She's still the Mother of Dragons, the Breaker of Chains, and the Unburnt - and she's unlikely to step aside for her nephew or any other person who challenges her claim.
Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen's Story Is Way Less Bleak
Robert's Rebellion is based on the belief that Rhaegar stole Lyanna, raped her, and then held her captive in the Tower of Joy. Season six of Game of Thrones takes fans into the tower to witness the birth of Jon and the death of Lyanna, but the scenes reveal little about her relationship with Rhaegar, aside from her desire for Ned to protect their son. Thanks to Gilly, it now seems the circumstances surrounding Lyanna and Rhaegar's story are much happier, even though the ending remains heartbreaking.
The two likely fell in love during the Tourney at Harrenhal. From that, fans can infer that Lyanna ran away with Rhaegar willingly and was not taken against her will, as Robert believed. Everything that is known about the prince suggests he was a good and kind man who was nothing like his father. As for Lyanna, she is always described as headstrong and as a woman who knew her own mind. She surely wanted to marry Rhaegar as much as he wanted to marry her.
A New Targaryen Alliance
Ultimately, Gilly's revelation points toward a new beginning for House Targaryen. For centuries, the Targaryens wed one another. Daenerys and Jon are already showing a growing fondness for each other; they may fall in love before they find out they are related. If they do, it would make the road to their becoming allies bonded by marriage much smoother in the long run, and it would eliminate any need for in-fighting over who should rule the Seven Kingdoms. Shouldn't the last two Targaryens rule side by side? Remember: there's nothing sadder than a Targaryen alone in the world, because history proves they have always been stronger together.
Hold On, When Did Jon and The Hound Meet?
Game of Thrones has been working with a massive cast for the entirety of the show's run, and the past few episodes have brought together a ton of characters who have yet to share camera time with one another. So as season seven comes to an end, it was only a matter of time before the show reintroduced a few familiar faces to build up the most important storyline of them all. When Jon leaves Dragonstone in Sunday's episode, he comes face to face with The Hound (and the Brotherhood Without Banners) back in Winterfell. It's quick, but he mentions upon his arrival that he has met The Hound before.
It's not exactly clear when Jon and The Hound managed to cross paths with each other, especially considering that Clegane spent a large chunk of time wandering about the country with Arya after fleeing King's Landing during the War of the Five Kings. But it's likely that Jon remembers The Hound from Robert Baratheon's visit to Winterfell at the very beginning of the series. If you can recall, Clegane was at one point a part of the king's entourage, and when Robert takes the initial trip to the Stark family stronghold, Clegane was more than likely right by his side.
Though the two likely wouldn't have been on the best of terms in seasons past, they're both fighting on the same side as the current season comes to an end - though it isn't all the way clear what the Brotherhood's intentions actually are. Alongside Ser Davos, Jorah Mormont, Gendry, and the rest of the Brotherhood, they'll be taking on the White Walkers next week during a battle that's been teased all season. There's no telling how it'll go, but it's definitely a showdown that we wouldn't want to miss.
The Best Photos From the Teen Choice Awards, aka Summer's Coolest Party
The 2017 Teen Choice Awards went down in LA on Sunday night, and you better believe they were fun, fun, fun. Some of your favorite Hollywood stars descended on USC Galen Center to accept surfboard awards (how fun and usable is that?). YouTube star Logan Paul, the little actors on This Is Us, and Lori Loughlin and her daughters were just a few who attended, and it was all just too cute. Keep reading to see the night's best pictures!
Here's Why Gendry Looks So Familiar on Game of Thrones
A familiar face came back into play on Sunday's Game of Thrones in the form of Gendry, who hasn't been seen on the show since the finale of season three. But we always suspected he'd return eventually, because he sort of has a claim to the Iron Throne. Also because he's kind of awesome.
In the first season of Game of Thrones, Ned Stark realizes that his late friend Jon Arryn was tracking down King Robert Baratheon's bastards because he realized the true parentage of Robert's three "legitimate" children (read: Jaime Lannister was actually their father) and that the Lannisters were killing off any Baratheon bastards who might usurp Joffrey's claim to the throne.
When smithy Tobho Mott, whom Gendry works for, sees the writing on the wall that Gendry's days are surely numbered after Ned's beheading, he sends the boy away. Gendry decides to join the Night's Watch and is part of Yoren's party of recruits that includes Arya Stark. Gendry befriends Arya, helping defend her and Hot Pie against the bullies in the group.
The Gold Cloaks pursue Gendry and attack their group, but Arya manages to protect him, claiming another dead boy was actually Gendry and that since he was dead, the Gold Cloaks's business is finished. Arya, Gendry, and Hot Pie escape death and are put to work at Harrenhal at the command of Tywin Lannister.
When Arya, Hot Pie, and Gendry eventually escape Harrenhal, they are captured by the Brotherhood Without Banners. Hot Pie takes up work at the Inn at the Crossroads, while Gendry works as a smithy for the Brotherhood. He considers them the only family he's ever known . . . until they turn him over to Melisandre for some gold; hence, his reticence to trust them in this latest episode. Seriously, would you trust a bunch of guys who sold you out to be sacrificed to the Lord of Light?
And that's exactly what Melisandre is planning at the time. She believes Stannis Baratheon needs a blood sacrifice of someone with king's blood in order to win the War of the Five Kings, so she takes Gendry back to Dragonstone and seduces him in order to prove his blood magic to Stannis, because leeches (containing Gendry's blood) that represent Joffrey, Balon Greyjoy, and Robb Stark are thrown into the fire and Robb Stark dies at the Red Wedding shortly thereafter.
Ser Davos, however, thinks Melisandre's magic is nonsense and doesn't believe in sacrificing an innocent boy, so he smuggles Gendry out of Dragonstone and sends him off into the sea, rowing for King's Landing - which is why Davos's greeting to Gendry of "Thought you might still be rowing!" is a delightful wink and nod to the fans, since the last time anyone saw Gendry on the show was when he was rowing out into the sea.
So Gendry is back, and while we don't think he's going to end up as a ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, it's wonderful to see him and Jon Snow bond over being the bastard sons of two noblemen who were best friends. (Yes, we all know Jon Snow isn't really a bastard, but they don't know that yet.)
Now Robert's son and Ned's son - plus Jorah Mormont, Tormund Giantsbane, and several other free men - are headed north of the Wall to bring back a White Walker in order to prove to Cersei (and Daenerys, honestly) that there is a credible (and terrifying) threat marching on them from the North. It's a fun payoff for all of us, especially because back in season three Gendry and Arya had a bit of a spark and by now might be a perfect match . . . when all these mortal enemies are properly removed, of course.
Game of Thrones: 3 Possible Places Sam Could Be Heading
We see Sam go through a lot working at the Citadel on Game of Thrones. He empties bedpans, scrapes greyscale off people's bodies, and realizes he is working for a bunch of men who don't know what they're talking about. So in "Eastwatch," it's not totally surprising that he decides to pack up his family and leave. But where is he going? The answer isn't given . . . but there are a few options.
1. Back to The Wall
Sam says before leaving the Citadel, "I'm tired of reading about the achievements of better men." (It's a callback to something his father, Randyll Tarly, said to him.) He obviously aspires to be a "better man," even though he already has an impressive record with killing a White Walker and discovering how to kill more. It would make sense for Sam to return, in hopes of going back to fight with the knowledge he has now.
2. Dragonstone
In "Dragonstone," we see Sam discover in a book that there is dragonglass in Dragonstone that could kill White Walkers. He tells Jon Snow this and now his men are mining it. But it's possible Sam will go there to help Jon further.
3. Horn Hill
This last theory is a stretch, but Sam could be returning home to Horn Hill. We see in this episode that his father and brother, Dickon, are killed by Daenerys for not bending the knee. Sam is now the last man of his house, although he isn't well liked. Someone could tell him the news about his father and brother along the way, and he could change his destination to Horn Hill.
Tonight's Game of Thrones Didn't Go How Jorah Planned, and Fans LOVED It
The following contains spoilers for Game of Thrones season seven.
Well, nobody can ever accuse Game of Thrones's most lovable right-hand man, Ser Jorah Mormont, of disloyalty again. The banished knight literally sheds his own (greyscale-infected) skin to return to serve Daenerys Targaryen in season seven, and when they finally reunite, it's not quite what fans were expecting.
After Jorah declares, "I return to your service, my queen. If you'll have me," many expected the knight and his dragon queen to kiss, since he's harbored a not-so-secret love for her since the beginning of the series. However, now that Daenerys and Jon Snow appear to be connecting on more than just an aunt-and-secret-nephew level, it seems that Jorah and Dany (still) won't work out romantically. The two do share a long hug, however, with Jon glowering jealously in the background.
Now that Jon and Jorah are off to work together Beyond the Wall, only time will tell if their shared romantic interest will result in a rivalry. In the meantime, lose yourself in the oh-so-extra reactions from series fans who can't stop laughing about Jorah's long-awaited return to the friend zone!
Jennifer Lopez Has Walked Down the Aisle 3 Times
Jennifer Lopez has admitted that "she is a love addict" who has a "fear" of being on her own. It's no wonder she has been married a few times and has been in several other long-term relationships. Who remembers when she almost tied the knot with Ben Affleck? We sure do!
The 47-year-old has pretty much been in and out of a relationship since 1997, and there's nothing wrong with that; more power to her. She's a woman that knows what she wants and goes after it - she's the one who asked current boyfriend ARod out on a date. We are taking a moment to look back at the men for whom she has walked down the aisle.
Could the Letter Arya Found Be the End of Sansa on Game of Thrones?
It seems like Arya Stark has been at Winterfell for only a day on Game of Thrones, but she is already on to Sansa and Littlefinger. In "Eastwatch," Arya observes that Sansa doesn't really defend Jon Snow to his critics in Winterfell, and she also takes note of Sansa's suspicious relationship with Littlefinger. This leads to Arya coming across something that makes Sansa look even more untrustworthy.
After trailing Littlefinger, Arya breaks into his room and reads a scroll that was hidden in the mattress. But because everything is moving so fast, you might have missed what, exactly, was in it. Sadly, things aren't looking good for Arya and Sansa's relationship.
The letter is actually from season one, when Cersei forced Sansa to write Robb and Catelyn Stark to break some big news and urge them to come to King's Landing. It reads:
Robb, I write to you with a heavy heart. Our good king Robert is dead, killed from wounds he took in a boar hunt. Father has been charged with treason. He conspired with Robert's brothers against my beloved Joffrey and tried to steal his throne. The Lannisters are treating me very well and provide me with every comfort. I beg you: come to King's Landing, swear fealty to King Joffrey and prevent any strife between the great houses of Lannister and Stark. Your faithfull sister, Sansa.
It's obviously a trap. This didn't work originally, and Robb and Catelyn knew it was a sign that Sansa was being held hostage by Cersei. However, Arya is already suspicious of her sister, and this could drive a greater wedge between them.
"OH SH*T" and Other Reactions We Had to Jon Snow Meeting Drogon on Game of Thrones
This post contains spoilers for Game of Thrones season seven.
It happened: Jon Snow came face to face with one of Daenerys Targaryen's dragons on Game of Thrones, and the internet couldn't handle it. After consistent buildup throughout the series that Jon Snow is, in fact, a Targaryen, the true sign of it all came as the King of the North went face-to-face with Drogon, Daenerys's largest dragon, after they returned from a bloody, smoky attack on the Lannisters. Although Jon immediately dropped to the ground after Drogon flew over him in "The Queen's Justice," this was the first time the two interacted with one another, and it immediately gave us chills.
With Drogon just inches away from Jon, we knew this could go in two totally opposite directions: the dragon could've opened his mouth and erased Jon with a breath of fire, or it would be an emotional exchange that would give everyone goosebumps. Well, it was the latter, and the connection between Jon and Drogon is fierce. Jon comes insanely close to Drogon and rubs the dragon in an awestruck, holy f*ck kind of way. Our goosebumps pretty much turned into dragon scales. Will Jon be one of the "three heads" to ride a dragon? Only time will tell, but for now, check out some of the most spot-on reactions to Jon meeting the dragon, then prepare to freak out over next week's episode - we can't wait!
Pictures of Charlottesville United in Mourning Are Heartbreaking and Hopeful
As the nation reeled over the white supremacist and neo-Nazi march that took place on Aug. 11 and 12 and left three dead in Charlottesville, VA, those who remained came together as a community.
People held hands and hugged at the site where 20-year-old James Alex Fields Jr. drove into a crowd of protesters and killed 32-year-old Heather Heyer. It was not the only one in the nation; many vigils were held across the US as well as counterprotests.
Ahead, see photos of the powerful vigil.
Which Is Which? 4 Ways to Tell Cole and Dylan Sprouse Apart
If you watched the Disney Channel as a kid in the '00s, you probably remember Cole and Dylan Sprouse from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The brothers were born on Aug. 2, 1992, and are identical twins, but that still doesn't mean they are carbon copies of each other. In fact, Dylan is the older brother since he was born first. While it's certainly easier to tell them apart now thanks to Cole's dark hairdo, there was a time when it was almost impossible. Here are the easiest ways to tell the Sprouse twins apart.
18 (Mostly Thirsty) Reactions to You Know Who's Sexy Game of Thrones Return
Warning: Spoilers for Game of Thrones below!
The fifth episode of Game of Thrones season seven, "Eastwatch," is notable for many reasons, but chief among them is how f*cking hot Gendry is. The long-awaited return of Robert Baratheon's bastard had fans drooling from the moment Ser Davos first spots him working as a blacksmith in Flea Bottom to the scene when he bashes some heads in with a massive hammer. Enjoy each and every one of Twitter's hilarious(ly thirsty) reactions to Gendry's reappearance below.
This 1 Goes Out to Game of Thrones Fans Losing It Over That Jon Snow Reveal
This post contains spoilers for season seven of Game of Thrones.
Game of Thrones fans have been awaiting the official unveiling of supposed bastard Jon Snow's parentage for years; for some book readers, it's even been decades. And in the most recent episode of the series, a major tease for the anticipated reveal of Jon's claim to the Iron Throne was dropped in a serious way.
Naturally, everybody freaked out when Gilly told Sam about a certain maester's record of an annulment between Rhaegar Targaryen and his wife, and the subsequent new marriage that the maester officiated for the dragon prince. After all, if Rhaegar annulled his vows to Elia Martell and married Lyanna Stark before Jon's birth, it means that he's not a bastard at all - Jon Snow is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, with a claim even stronger than Daenerys Targaryen's. Damn Sam for ruining the official reveal!
Guess we'll have to wait until the next episode to find out if Jon's claim is true, and if anyone will ever learn the truth. In the meantime, bask in the over-the-top reactions from Game of Thrones fans who would bend the knee for Jon freakin' TARGARYEN in a heartbeat.

Jon Snow Runs For His Freakin' Life in the Preview For Next Week's Game of Thrones
We really weren't prepared for Game of Thrones season seven. The season's fiery fourth episode was followed by "Eastwatch," which basically dropped a major bombshell in every scene. Season seven's sixth episode looks just as insane, with the preview containing glimpses of Beric Dondarrion's flaming sword (AHHHH!), serious drama at Winterfell (AHHHH!), and Jon Snow running like hell from the Night King (AHHHHHHH!). Check it out above.
Mom's Plea to Keep Sick Kids at Home - Even If You Don't Think They're Contagious
Keep sick kids home
Update: The original Imgur post has since been removed.
Original: After a holiday dinner with family turned into a potentially life-threatening infection for her little girl, one mom is speaking out to warn all parents.
"Please. If your child has a cold, or a flu, or an upper respiratory infection, please keep them home and take care of them," Imgur user LauraCorreadaSilva shared along with a photo of her toddler in the intensive care unit. Chloe ended up hospitalized after playing with her cousin who was sick yet still came over for Christmas dinner.
According to the upset mom, her brother claimed that his daughter had a lung infection but wasn't contagious. Chloe quickly developed respiratory syncytial virus infection and the 3-year-old already suffers from asthma. Her mom shared that RSV can be very dangerous for kids with preexisting lung conditions and she is now on antibiotics and a breathing machine with her arm bandaged to keep the toddler from pulling out her IV.
Laura wrote that Chloe is fully vaccinated for her age. She explained that she's sharing her family's story to hopefully prevent others from going through what her daughter is experiencing and "as a warning that even though you may think your kid isn't contagious this can be the outcome."
Kesha Tears Up While Reading a Letter to Her Younger Self: "There Is Beauty After the Storm"
Kesha has come a long way since her chart-topping single "Tik Tok." While her journey to stardom has been filled with uphill battles, including her ongoing legal battle against record producer Dr. Luke, the "Learn to Let Go" singer is now insisting on finding happiness again. In a segment on CBS This Morning, the 30-year-old wrote a moving and heartfelt letter to her younger self about the pressures of fame, being her true authentic self, and finding the rainbow after a storm. You will no doubt openly weep over her powerful words about self-love and acceptance. Read her full message below:
Dear Kesha,
At this very moment, you may be wondering if it was really a good idea to drop out of high school and move to LA with nothing but your grandpa's Lincoln town car and a demo tape.
I've got good news and I've got bad news, and I know you're a tad impatient so we'll start with the good news. You made it! And thank God because the best plan B we ever came up with was waitressing and we will soon find out that is not really our forte.
The bad news is, you nearly killed yourself on the road to success, fueled by fear of failure, crippling anxiety, and insecurity. You will become severely bulimic and anorexic and the worse your disease gets, the more praise you will get from some people in your industry. And this will really, really mess with your head. But when you're trying to live up to an unrealistic expectation, it's never going to be good enough. No matter what you do.
Right now, you're killing it on Myspace, but beware because the internet will get way less innocent real fast. Just save yourself some anxiety and a few years' worth of therapy and just skip the comment section. Skip it all together. It's a breeding ground for negativity and hate. And don't let people scare and shame you into changing the things about yourself that make you unique and interesting. Those are the qualities that will make your life so magical. That bad girl, I don't give a sh*t attitude, it'll work for a while, and you will get a dollar sign tattooed on your hand that will last forever probably. But the truth is, you don't need to put on an act. You can just be Kesha Rose Sebert and guess what? Apparently that's good enough.
People will listen to your music and come to your shows as long as the art is honest and good and you're just being yourself. You're still in a society that worships photoshopped super models. We all still feel the pressure to look like them because that's a symptom of a society that emphasizes all the wrong things and this will be an everyday struggle -- and you must be strong 'cause over time you will gain confidence and you will learn that words and art do matter.
You will meet kids who tell you that they struggle with many of the same things you've struggled with, or more. And they're gonna tell you that your music helped save their life, and that will change you. You're gonna learn that art can heal people.
I know you are very inspired by Bob Dylan and he's your favorite. Bob Dylan is one of the reasons you play music and one day you're gonna meet him and you're going to weep hysterical happy tears at the thought of it.
One day you're gonna write a song called "Rainbow" and you're gonna be really proud of it because there is light and beauty after the storm, no matter how hard things get. You're going to write this song so you remember to make it through. You're going to remind yourself to love yourself and if you have truth in your heart, there will always be a rainbow at the end of the storm.

Chris Pratt Attends the Teen Choice Awards 1 Week After Announcing Separation
Chris Pratt announced his split from wife Anna Faris last week, but that didn't stop him from honoring his commitment to attend the Teen Choice Awards in LA on Sunday. A few hours after stepping out without his wedding ring, the actor took home the award for choice sci-fi movie actor for his role as Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. After accepting his surfboard on stage from Millie Bobby Brown, Maddie Ziegler, and Grace VanderWaal, Chris kept things short and sweet as he thanked God and the movie's director, James Gunn, for blessing him with such an iconic role. He also goofed around with Judd Apatow backstage after his speech. Chris didn't walk the red carpet at the beginning of the night and he wasn't spotted in the audience outside of the moment he won, but we'll take what we can get!
Vanessa Hudgens's Speech at the Teen Choice Awards Will Make You Feel Less Alone
Vanessa Hudgens braved through her sickness to deliver an empowering speech at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards. The 28-year-old actress, who took home a #SeeHer surfboard award for her charity work and activism for equal rights, opened up about her journey to womanhood. "I'm not gonna lie, when I was 25, I felt like I had it all figured out," she confessed. "And then I woke up at 27 and I realized that I had no idea who I was, what I stood for, and what I wanted."
Although Vanessa referred to that time in her life as "terrifying," she also said she found it to be humbling. "I look back on that moment really grateful because it pushed me to dig deeper and figure out what type of woman I wanted to become."
The actress ended her speech with a powerful message for her younger fans. "I think it is so important for us to lean into our individuality and to embrace our weirdness," she continued. "To not be afraid of being different, because God made you you for a reason. So know that in your heart, you are enough. And the more you lean into that, the brighter you will shine." Yep, we're crying too.
Zendaya Uses the Teen Choice Awards to Tell Young People to Stop All the Hate
Zendaya took home the award (er, surfboard) for choice Summer movie actress for her role in Spider-Man: Homecoming at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night, and she made sure to use her time on stage very wisely. The 20-year-old actress, who stunned on the red carpet, spoke directly to every young person watching and addressed the horrifying violence that occurred in Charlottesville, VA, over the weekend.
"With all the injustice and the hatred, not only in the world but in our country . . . I need you to be educated, I need you to listen, I need you to pay attention," she said. "I need you go ahead and understand that you have a voice and it's OK to use it when you see something bad happening. So make sure you do not let people tell you what you think you should feel. You're the future leaders of the world . . . you're the future presidents, the future senators. You are the future, so take that very, very seriously." Well said, Zendaya.
What Is Game of Thrones' Joffrey Doing Now? Basically Just Chilling
Everyone knows that watching Game of Thrones can cause severe stress (Drogon better be fine!), but one more thing it can also cause? Pure fiery fits of anger. These fits were more frequent during earlier seasons when King Joffrey was around (sorry we're not sorry he was poisoned to death). While Joffrey was one of the most hated characters we can ever remember being on the small screen, it turns out that the actor who played him, Jack Gleeson, couldn't be more different.
Since the 25-year-old Irish actor left the show in 2014, he's remained pretty much out of the spotlight, and it seems like that's where he wants to stay. Jack announced his retirement from acting shortly before his time on Game of Thrones came to an end, telling the Irish Independent, "The lifestyle that comes with being an actor in a successful TV show isn't something I gravitate towards." He went on to study theology and philosophy at Trinity College in Dublin after the show, and he appears to still be living a low-key and normal life in the Irish capital. He's popped up at a few fan conventions over the last two years to surprise his fans, but you're probably more likely to find him in a Dublin pub than on a red carpet.
sometimes I wonder if Jack Gleeson secretly wears his Miss Westeros sash at home #kingjoffrey #GameOfThrones http://pic.twitter.com/MISe82Gu6q

What Happened on Game of Thrones This Week? 30 Seriously Insane Things, For Starters
Major Game of Thrones spoilers below!
Warning: you might having trouble breathing after watching the fifth episode of Game of Thrones season seven, because it's one INSANE ride. Although "Eastwatch" doesn't have quite as much firepower as "The Spoils of War," it manages to squeeze in, oh, about a million bombshells. From the truth about Jon Snow's parentage and a jaw-dropping pregnancy announcement, to the fact a certain character is incredibly hot now, the episode is action-packed, to say the least. Re-live each and every shocking moment below to help you prepare for what's coming next week.
Game of Thrones: What Gilly's Discovery About Jon Snow Actually Means
Jon Snow is a bastard no more. At least that seems to be the takeaway of Gilly's exploration of High Septon Maynard's diary. In between counting the number of steps in the Citadel and keeping a record of all of his bowel movements, the High Septon also slips in a tiny but important detail about Prince Rhaegar. According to the diary, Daenerys's brother has his first marriage annulled in Dorne so that he can be free to marry another woman.
And, hey, Sam takes quite a few books from the Citadel before he packs up with Gilly and baby Sam to head back to Jon's side . .
As Rhaegar's only living son, the rules of secession dictate that the Iron Throne is Jon's by right.
As for Lyanna, she is always described as headstrong and as a woman who knows her own mind.
