MAC Just Launched a Whole Freakin' Rainbow of Holographic Lip Glosses; RIP Paycheck

Holy sh*t, guys - MAC Cosmetics just released an entire line of holographic lip glosses, and I can practically hear my paycheck begging for mercy in the distance. The cult brand's new Grand Illusion Glossy Liquid Lipcolours are about as shiny as it gets, offering a futuristic luster that'll leave you hypnotized. When Lil Mama sang about her lip gloss being so "poppin'" that it caused the boys at school to stop by her locker back in 2007, I'm pretty sure she was somehow foreshadowing this new MAC line.

The Grand Illusion glosses come in 14 colors from all over the spectrum, with standout shades including Space Bubble, a luscious blackberry red, and Broken Halo, an opalescent silver. Each $21 tube is "packed with iridescent pearls and megawatt color," and OMG, let's just get to those shades already, shall we? Read on to shop all 14 dazzlingly gorgeous lip glosses, and kindly pardon me while I go make a teeny-tiny tombstone for my credit card after buying every single one.

We promise, filling your shopping cart has never felt like such a fairy tale.

LaCroix Hair Is a Thing, Because of Course It Is

With only 54 days left in the year, we've reached peak 2017. That's because LaCroix hair is officially a thing, and honestly, I'm a little shocked it took this long for Instagram's most famous beauty trend (rainbow hair) to get it on with the app's soft drink of choice.

LaCroix hair comes courtesy of a project the brand Scruples Hair Care dreamed up with eight stylists. The theme of the looks is titled LaCroix Before Boys, and it should probably be your new life motto. (That rhyming catchphrase also ends the age-old debate on how the drink should be pronounced - it's La-CROY, people.)

Even if you don't drink sparkling water, you'll love the looks, which are rainbow-hair perfect. So crack open a fizzy Pamplemousse and take a gander at the most #millennial thing you'll see all day.

4 Mistakes to Avoid When Working Out Postpartum

As a Pilates instructor and the owner of a health and wellness company for over a decade, I've helped many clients recover from a myriad of issues and injuries, some so severe they required surgery. As you'd expect in these cases, my clients were kept informed before, during, and after a procedure by their doctors, were prescribed physical therapy, and were given an abundance of information on how to properly build back strength.

The one exception was when a client would give birth. Even in the best-case scenario, a woman might face stretching, swelling, tearing, and cutting, yet two to six weeks later she can be cleared for exercise with little to no guidance on how to properly rehabilitate postpartum.

We don't expect the body to "self-heal" after any other major surgery or physical event, so why do we assume this should happen after birth?

Mothers face many physical issues during recovery from birth. Hormonal changes, like elevated levels of relaxin, a hormone that loosens ligaments and joints to aid in delivery, can cause balance issues and an overall clumsy feeling for moms. Gestational weight gain and increased breast size leave many women hunched over, leading to poor posture and balance and muscle aches and pains.

Plus, most moms will also suffer from weakened or damaged abdominal, lower-back, and pelvic muscles, which can play a role in incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. It's obvious that giving birth is a major life and medical event, and recovering from it should be addressed as seriously as recovering from trauma.

Mistakes to Avoid During Postpartum Recovery

Jumping back into intense exercise too quickly. Many moms return to high-impact cardio and heavy lifting without thinking about what their new bodies can handle. New mothers who were avid runners or even CrossFit enthusiasts prepregnancy are more susceptible to joint injury during these exercises due to elevated levels of relaxin.

Building abdominal pressure. Traditional crunches, planks, and intense core exercises can worsen diastasis recti, increasing the likelihood of lower-back and bladder issues postpartum.

Poor diet. Nutrition plays a role not only in weight gain or loss, but also in energy, mood, sleep, and muscle recovery. Too often, busy new moms go for the fast and easy food choice, without thinking about the nutritional content and consequences.

Doing nothing. Immediately after birth, your body will need time to rest and recharge before you can start an exercise regime. However, once your medical professional has given you the go-ahead to start moving, the right exercises and stretches will help aid in your recovery efforts and provide clear benefits over a sedentary lifestyle.

Tips For Safely and Slowly Recovering From Birth

Try low-impact cardio for heart health. When adjusting back into a heart-healthy routine, moms should stick to low-impact cardiovascular exercise during the first few months postpartum. Walking, swimming, cycling, and elliptical trainers are generally preferred to exercises involving jumping and pounding that can lead to joint damage. Start out with five to 10 minutes a day, and build up to 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise, five times a week, to keep your heart and lungs healthy.

Be careful about your core exercise. Focus on simple abdominal exercises targeting your obliques, lower back, transverse abdominals, pelvic floor, and hips without increasing abdominal pressure. Pilates and yoga-based poses will improve overall core strength and balance postpartum.

Load up on nutrient-dense foods. Continue a healthy diet with energy-rich foods, accompanied by plenty of fluids. According to nutritionist and registered dietician Hawley Poinsett, MS, LD, the main nutrients that are of concern in the first year after childbirth are calcium, iron, fiber, and fluids.

Prioritize your health. It's important for moms to practice self-care and secure "me time" whenever possible during the postpartum period. Don't be afraid to ask for help from family, neighbors, and friends when it comes to a support system and securing child care. With help, a couple of minutes a day for exercise can go a long way for a new mom in jump-starting the healing process. Recent studies even show that exercise and meditation may reduce the risk of postpartum depression.

Laura Arndt has a B.S. in exercise science and over 12 years' experience as a certified mat Pilates instructor, certified strength and conditioning specialist, and certified personal trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Laura is the CEO of Matriarc, a health and wellness company for moms, with an app for postpartum recovery coming in 2018. Find her on FB or email Laura at Matriarcapp@gmail.com for more information.

Can Sweet Potatoes Help You Lose Weight?

If your exposure to sweet potatoes is limited to the Thanksgiving table or your favorite diner's healthier french fry option, now's the time to open your eyes to the weight-loss wonders of the tuber. Here are three reasons sweet potatoes help you drop pounds.

They're naturally sweet: No refined sugar overload here - sweet potatoes make for a healthy, lower-calorie treat. Satisfy any morning sweet/salty cravings with these sweet potato apple pancakes, and get your healthy dessert fill with these sweet potato desserts.

They regulate blood sugar: Sweet potatoes may have their fair share of carbs (about 33 grams per cup), but they contain a compound that increases levels of adiponectin, the blood-sugar regulating hormone, in the body. Sweet potatoes have a relatively low glycemic index rating (50), which can also help prevent blood sugar spikes after you eat. Regulated blood sugar levels can help get rid of those sugary cravings you get when your levels dip. And while studies have been conflicting, some research has shown that low-glycemic foods stay in your digestive tract longer, helping you control your appetite. To maintain sweet potatoes' low-glycemic properties, boil or steam them instead of roasting them (which destroys some of these properties).

They contain fiber: High-fiber foods are another foolproof way to control hunger. Fiber helps you feel fuller for longer, and one medium sweet potato (about one cup) contains four grams of the nutrient.

Sweet potatoes don't just help you trim your waistline, however. They're powerful sources of vitamin A, which helps boost immunity and promotes good eye, skin, and bone health, as well as high levels of anti-inflammatory antioxidants. Regardless of whether you're trying to lose weight or not, sweet potatoes' seemingly superfood status isn't a license to order all the sweet potato fries you want - a 2011 study found that those deep-fried sweet potato fries may not be as healthy as you think!

Here's What - and When - to Eat Before Working Out

When it comes to working out, it's important to feel energized, but it's not always as simple as grabbing a snack on your way out the door. Eating too close to exercise is a recipe for discomfort, but heading to the gym hungry isn't ideal either.

To learn how to maximize the potential of a workout, I spoke with nutritionist Heidi Skolnik, MS, CDN, FACSM, and author of Nutrient Timing for Peak Performance ($20) to find out what to eat and when before heading to the gym.

Here's What Happens If You Lose Too Much Weight Too Fast

Going on a diet is tough work and requires lots of motivation and effort. That being said, it's important to be careful with how much you're losing each week and what actions you're taking to get results. If you embark on an extreme diet plan, you may be putting your body at a disservice. It may even drive you to quit early, thereby gaining back whatever you lost. (And maybe more.)

Good news - we had Christopher Hollingsworth, MD, from NYC Surgical Associates explain what can happen if you see the scale dip too low, too quickly. He also provided us with a few tips for losing weight the right way - as well as keeping it off.

What's A Good Amount To Lose?

Instead of thinking about weight loss in pounds, Dr. Hollingsworth recommends looking at the percent of bodyweight lost. A safe metric to aim for is a loss of five to 10 percent of your bodyweight over a three-month period. Anything more than that puts you at "risk for having some problems associated with weight loss," he says. "Once you have lost more than 10 percent of your bodyweight within three months, you are most likely going to have significant issues."

Dr. Hollingsworth's approach is different than the popular opinion of losing up to two pounds per week. He says it's important to keep in mind that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to determine the specific number of pounds since everyone is different. For instance, when keeping bodyweight percentage in mind, the healthy weight loss range will be larger for an overweight individual than someone who is not considered overweight.

He also believes that looking at weekly weight loss isn't always the best indicator, which is why he focuses on a three-month window. "When running a caloric deficit to lose weight, your average trend over a month is important, but targeting weekly goals can be unfairly discouraging if results are not seen."

What Happens If You Lose Too Much

According to Dr.Hollingsworth, there are many side effects that can happen when you drop too much weight in a short period of time. You might experience constipation, diarrhea, nausea, or abdominal pain. "Your intestine is used to handling different types and amounts of food, so it goes through an initial adjustment period," he says. "If there's less food to push through or fewer fats and oils to lubricate the passageway, you decrease the amount of salivation that would aid in stimulating the gut for a smooth digestion"

What's more, you might also experience headaches and mood swings. "Headaches come from running a prolonged caloric deficit, as your body switches to a different form of metabolism while you are fasting or crash-dieting," says Hollingsworth. "Your body starts oxidizing fats, and even breaking down muscle to convert these energy sources into a usable energy form called ketone bodies. During the period where your body is switching from using glucose to ketone bodies, it transiently uses another form of stored energy called glycogen that is good for meeting short-term energy requirements," he says.

But once glycogen stores are depleted, your insulin and adrenaline levels fluctuate and your brain is starved for a short period until the ketones kick in, he says. When this happens, you can easily get a headache or mood swings as nasty side effects due to change in hormones. (And, this pretty much sums up the the Ketogenic Diet, if you're curious.)

If those mood swings aren't bad enough during the daytime - they might be even worse due to a lack of sleep that can happen when you're losing too much weight on a restrictive diet and fitness plan. "Sleep is disturbed because of fluctuating stress hormones, including cortisol, insulin and adrenaline. Your body is using these hormones to fine tune your metabolism to compensate for fasting, but these hormones can mess with your sleep-wake cycle, as well as make you feel bad in general," Hollingsworth explains.

In more extreme cases, malnutrition can result and lead to a host of symptoms like dizziness, decreased energy, and swelling of the body. This will also put you at risk for developing secondary conditions like anemia, muscle wasting, and brittle hair.

The Takeaway

To avoid these pitfalls, it's important to do your research and talk to a doctor before making any major diet changes. During your diet, keep track of how your body feels. If you constantly feel sluggish or unwell, add in additional complex carbs to see if that makes a difference. This is even more important if you're also working out - you want adequate fuel to accomplish and recover from workouts.

Lastly, remember that weight can shift based on what you eat, how much you sleep, how stressed you are, and other factors, he says. So, don't get too caught up in it and let it derail your progress.

"Your body weight is good to assess in regards to the general trend, but it is not something to target from day to day, because it is susceptible to fluctuation based on temperature, fluid intake, and exercise," he says.

She mixes salvaged wood pieces, flea market finds, and industrial-chic accents to cultivate her uniquely polished yet homespun look. Here's farmhouse-inspired home decor that will make any house as picture perfect as the Gaines's. Keep it for yourself or gift it to the Fixer Upper fanatic in your life.

From bouncy curls and shags to metallic everything, the fabulous decade is being emulated in every way makeup enthusiasts can imagine. Lately, we've noticed that people are straight up turning their lips into disco balls - and we are living, nay, stayin' alive for it.

We first noticed the look on Jazmina Daniel, who wrote on Instagram that she was inspired to jump on the mirror train after receiving a package that included silver reflective paper. According to Daniel, "I cut it out to the shape of my lips and glued it on with some lash glue."

This tin foil-esque look is a cool departure from the gold lamé we've been seeing and loving on beauty junkies this Fall. Plus, reflective lips turn you into a walking, talking mirror compact that your friends will appreciate anytime they need a touch-up (or have kale stuck in their teeth).

After Waving to the Same Kids Every Week, 2 Garbage Men Received a Heartbreaking Note

Thursdays were a very special day for the Evenson family because it was the day the garbage men came, but once their 3-year-old daughter Rosie was diagnosed with cancer, their schedules inevitably changed. Over the last year or so, Angie Evenson's three daughters gathered by the window every Thursday and waited for the garbage men to come by to wave hello, and Brandon Olsen and Taylor Fritz eagerly waved back to the girls.

But in November of last year, the men received a note from the family that broke their hearts. The note explained that Rosie had been diagnosed with stage four kidney cancer, and though some of her treatments had been scheduled on Thursdays, the family hadn't forgotten about them.

Olsen was so upset when he read the letter that he knew he had to do something to help. With three children of his own, he couldn't help but sympathize with the Evenson family. "This family forever changed my life - I read the note and was in tears," Olsen told Today. "Being a father, it's scary to think, 'What if it were me in that situation?'"

Olsen and Fritz approached their boss at Hometown Sanitation and asked if they could offer the family one of the employee benefits they receive - free trash pick-up service for a year - and the company delivered a letter to the Evenson family, seen below.

"Please accept our gift of free garbage service for you through the end of 2017," the note read. "We know that expenses will add up as you make trips for this needed treatment, and hope that not having this one bill to deal with helps, even if just a little. As parents ourselves, we can only imagine what this is like for you. We want to wish you the best of luck as you fight on and battle through. Best wishes for a successful treatment and recovery. Stay strong, fight hard, stick together."

The letter and kind gift are helping the Evenson family smile and be thankful during such a hard time. The family has started a GoFundMe page to further help with Rosie's treatment expenses.

How to Get Taylor Swift's Perfect Armpits

Taylor Swift has garnered millions of followers for her catchy musical hits, celebrity feuds, ever-changing beauty looks, and . . . her armpits. Yes, there is an entire Subreddit devoted to the singer's underarms. Why have fanatics honed in on such a small part of her anatomy? Well, they do look pretty soft and smooth. Taylor obviously doesn't have any issues with dark spots or shaving scars. Grooming your underarms is a tedious task that must be done, but using better techniques for more effective results can make it a little more bearable.

  • Hold it: Shave your armpits as late into your shower as possible. The warm water helps soften the coarse hair in this area, so shaving will be a little easier.
  • Scrub-a-dub: Make sure you remove all traces of your deodorant with a thorough washing. You might also want to consider exfoliating with a body scrub like The Body Shop Mango Scrub ($24) for a more even shave. (Do this before flicking the Gillette, of course.)
  • Up, down, and all around: I prefer using a razor with multiple blades, because with more blades working, it gets the job done a lot faster. That and you don't have to shave an already-sensitive area over and over. After lathering up with a great shaving cream, lift the arm high and start shaving. Shave up, down, and side to side. Keeping the skin taut will result in a closer shave, so pull your skin however it needs to go to create an even surface. Rinsing the blade off after every other stroke or so will also keep the razor nice and unclogged.
  • Minirazor: If you encounter an area that's difficult to maneuver around or if you discover you've missed a few hairs, a minirazor should do the trick. Try Noxzema Razors For Women ($3).
  • Don't be dull: It should go without saying, but make sure your razor isn't dull. Check out these tips for extending the life of your razor, and happy - or at least less tedious - shaving!

How I Kicked My 20-Year-Long Nail-Biting Habit For Good

"I feel sorry for your fingers." Those were the six words that came out of the woman's mouth when she took my hands to try and bless them with a manicure for my wedding. Can I get an ouch?

As painful as that sentence was to take in - especially so close to my big day - truth be told, it was just what I needed to hear to recognize how out of control my nail-biting habit had become. See, I've been a nail-biter for 20-some long years. Looking back, I can't recall how this grotesque, compulsive habit even started, but it's one that has followed me well into adulthood.

It's embarrassing, to say the least - and honestly, I don't think many people realized how much the constant urge to pick, pull, or bite at my fingernails consumed me. But really, that was my goal, because every time I'd shred my cuticles to the point where they'd be dripping with blood - gross, I know - I'd hide each wounded finger so no one would notice. Because what sane person nips at their nail (and the skin around it) until red liquid oozes out, right? To make matters worse, I would feel strangely satisfied each time this happened.

If you are also a chronic nail-biter, I'm hoping you can relate. (By hoping, what I really mean is: please tell me you've experienced similar scenarios so I don't feel too crazy.) And if by chance you are nodding your head in agreement, please know that I, too, feel your pain. What's more? I've got good news for you.

After years of searching high and low for an effective nail-biting solution - and literally trying every single program under the sun - I finally found a method that actually worked. Although it was one of the hardest challenges I've endured, I'm confident that if I can nip this nasty habit in the bud, anyone can.

So if you're ready to quit biting your nails once and for all - and, let's be real, who isn't? - your guide to beautiful hands awaits ahead!

I Traded Up For the Apple TV 4K and Here's Why I'll Never Go Back

Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Chelsea Hassler

I got my first Apple TV as a present; I was still working in television at the time, and my boss presented it to me as a (very, very generous) holiday gift. The supersleek, supermysterious object would quickly become something that I could not picture my life without. Not only did I use the second-generation device a lot for work, but it also meant that I no longer had to squint at my teeny-tiny laptop screen when I wanted to watch something on Netflix or Hulu, opening the floodgates of binge-watching that would remain constant for years to come. In the seven years that my Apple TV and I cohabitated together, I lived in three different boroughs of New York City, saw partners and friends come and go, and changed my career several times over. It was just in September of this year, 2017, that I tried its much, much younger sibling - the Apple TV 4K - and knew it was time to update my trusty partner in crime.

To be clear, I hadn't ever even considered upgrading my old device. It worked perfectly, so why would I bother? But when I unboxed the 4K and got it up and running, I realized the light years of tech I had been missing out on. Therefore my experience isn't one shaded by a side-by-side comparison, a judgment of what sets it above and beyond its competitors (or, for that matter, not). Instead, it's one of awe and wonder - and of falling back in love with TV all over again thanks to the help of a device that's roughly the size of a thick slice of bread.

Ahead, you'll find some of my favorite functions of the Apple TV 4K. And if you're in the market for a more thoughtful way to streamline all the many ways we get our entertainment these days and for things to be a little bit simpler in several of the most intuitive yet impossible ways, I promise you won't be disappointed by the Apple TV 4K.

The TV App

I'd always been curious about that "TV" app that appeared on my iPhone at some point over the last year, and as soon as I got started with iOS 11 and my new Apple TV, everything sort of just fell into place. It's basically where you can find everything you're looking for, all in one easy-to-find place. Once you've signed in with iOS 11, it pulls together all of your apps (like Hulu, Showtime, and HBO) and you can also add in your cable subscription to gain access to all of the programming on apps like CBS, The CW, and more. And once you watch something - or leave off halfway through an episode - it puts it in there for easy access to pick up exactly where you left off on any other Apple device.

For me, the best thing about this is the fact that it eliminates having to search for the latest episodes and where you can stream them - it puts them right in front of your face where you quite literally can't miss it, and you can essentially just live in the "watch now" section of Apple TV if you want to. For full instructions on how to set this up and get going, head on over to Apple to read more and know that I am not exaggerating when I say that it has eliminated hours of searching from my life and I couldn't be more stoked about it.

Siri

When I said that I wasn't looking to highlight specific features that are new only to this device, I was very much referring to Siri, who honestly blows my mind (even now!). A recent convert to voice control, it almost feels like Siri was made explicitly to make browsing more easy - and to make it so that when you lose the remote control, you've always got the ability to control your TV via your mouth. Siri can do lots of things, though, and isn't just limited to "pause" or "play."

You can ask Siri to find the most recent episode of a TV show or pick up where you left off on a movie. You can rewind a couple minutes or a couple seconds, or search through what's available in the massive libraries of the streaming giants for a specific moment in time that you just have to watch again. Say "What did they say?" and she'll skip back 15 seconds in time and throw some captions up on the screen for that scene. Ask her "Who stars in this?" and she'll give you an IMDB-style rundown on the bottom of your TV screen, no iPhone required! Oh, and if you're indecisive (like me), she can also tell you what to watch based on what Apple sees as trending at that moment in time.

4K and HDR

I'd be lying if I said that I could tell the difference between 4K and regular TV before I got the Apple TV. But I had the pleasure of hooking my box up to a real, legit 4K TV and all I can say is: holy sh*t. It's like being in an adventure that requires no glasses or special devices to traverse, and the colors are mindblowingly vivid. I'm almost - almost! - tempted to upgrade my old TV, but as the saying goes, I'm probably better taking one step at a time. And it can cost you a bit more money (Netflix has a "premium" plan that features 4K movies in all their glory), so it may not be for everyone. But if you do have a 4K TV, do yourself a favor and get an Apple TV. I promise it won't disappoint you. Even the screensaver that comes up when you've been idle too long has been upgraded to a beautiful, crystal-clear set of images that will leave you transfixed as you listen to music or talk on the phone.

And a Few More Things

Apple recently changed its movie rental period to a whopping 48 hours (!), which means that instead of only having a night to watch a movie, you can make a weekend out of it - and it makes the rental fee feel a lot better from where I stand. And when you don't feel like watching a movie, there's also a whole host of beautiful, addictive games that have been brought into the device, which means you can play the things you love most as well as a bunch of new TV-native apps via your tiny Apple remote (or, if you're fancy, via a control which you can purchase separately). I would be remiss if I didn't mention just how smoothly the interface works. No more loading screens and clunky click-throughs - everything about using the Apple TV feels crisper, snazzier, and, frankly, more enjoyable than ever before. And finally, one of the features I love the most: since the Apple ecosystem is so efficient, I don't have to get rid of my old Apple TV. Instead, I moved it into my bedroom, which means I can pick up exactly where I left off in the living room. It may be a whole lot more rickety, but it's the sign of true progress. Apple has clearly got one eye on making all of your devices, old and new, work together - and I couldn't be happier with the result so far.

20 Things That Happen When You Stay at a Sandals Resort

Whether you're 9 years old or 90 years old, you've probably seen an ad for Sandals Resorts. (Think iconic cursive logo set against a beachy backdrop.) While it may seem like a massive operation, the all-inclusive chain remains intimate and family-owned, just like when it was founded in 1981.

Today, the company boasts five brands and 24 properties throughout the Caribbean, including places like the Bahamas, Jamaica, and most recently, Grenada. Sandals invited me to visit their newest resort - formally called Sandals LaSource Grenada - in late April to find out what the property is actually like beyond the commercials. The place is as beautiful as you can imagine, and the clientele ranged from couple friends in their late 20s and 30s to elderly pairs celebrating their decades-long anniversaries.

Although Sandals often offers sales, prices aren't exactly cheap - you'll most likely drop more than $1,000 per night. If you're thinking of staying at a Sandals resort anytime soon, here's what you can expect.

This Photo Series Shows How Adopting a Dog Totally "Changes" a Family For the Better

When photographer Anna Angenend finally caved and rescued a dog from San Antonio Pet's Alive shelter that her daughter Mia had been begging for, she wasn't sure what she'd be in for once Lucy got home. But after a brief learning curve, something amazing happened: Mia and her pup became best friends for life. Anna put her photography skills to the test by capturing some of her favorite moments between Mia and Lucy in a beyond adorable photo series called "Life With Lucy." Although it's seriously the purest thing you'll ever see, it wasn't all sunshine and roses in the beginning.

"Lucy chewed EVERYTHING at first. That was a battle for Mia, because she sacrificed a few toys, and I lost all my patio furniture," Anna told POPSUGAR. "Eventually I learned the best hacks to get pet stains out of the carpet (vinegar and baking soda) and how to get her to stop chewing. We all learned and grew together, and it got easier. I also learned that it takes about two hours at the dog park to completely wear out Lucy, then she would come home and be calm and tired the rest of the day."

In some cases, getting a new pet can be almost as stressful as having a newborn, but now Anna can't picture her life without Lucy:

"It's changed me. I am a neat freak and never imagined I would be OK with having everything in home home getting dog hair on it. But I don't care; it's worth it. It's kind of like parenting to me; it has it's challenges, but it's well worth it in the happiness and memories it brings you. I'm amazed at how much personality a dog has. She is a part of our family, she brings us all joy, she is protective and kind. When my husband comes home from work, Lucy will practically knock us over so she can greet him first."

And the biggest blessing of all for Anna? Seeing her little girl with her furry friend. "Mia doesn't have a sibling (yet), so Lucy is her constant playmate, cuddle bug, and her go-to gal pal to get into trouble with. Lucy gets very jealous when she sees Mia petting other dogs, and she will run over to Mia and make sure she gets some attention."

We Will Never Get Over Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI's Wedding

On May 22, 2004, we were glued to our television, hoping to get a glimpse of Letizia Ortiz, now the queen of Spain, in her gorgeous wedding gown. Even in our craziest Disney-princess-inspired dreams, we could have never imagined the stunning silk-woven dress and 15-foot train designed by couturier Manuel Pertegaz. The way it wrapped the stylish bride's slim body and moved as she walked down the aisle to meet then-Prince Felipe VI at the altar left us in awe.

Twelve years later, we're not over that moment and often find ourselves looking back at photos of the big day when the oh-so-in-love royals tied the knot at the Cathedral Santa María la Real de la Almudena in Madrid, Spain. Now, you can do the same - just keep scrolling to relive the event.

230 of the Best Collaboration Products MAC Has Ever Created

I have a good reason for keeping a MAC Cosmetics store on speed dial. When you're as obsessed with the brand's products as I am, you know that its collaborations are highly coveted . . . and that they sell out fast.

Though MAC has been around since 1984, the launches consistently surprise and excite the company's millions of fans. Its creative partnerships - and brilliant packaging - with fashion designers, cartoon characters, and celebrities cause multiple shopping frenzies throughout the year. (Permanently etched in my brain: the memory of aggressively shoving other beauty junkies aside, pleading with a sales associate to give me the store's last tube of Candy Yum Yum lipstick in 2012.) Believe it or not, MAC releases more than 10 partnership lines annually. The beauty empire has put out over 100 collaborations since its inception, starting with its very first Viva Glam spokesperson, drag icon RuPaul.

The first partnership product I ever snagged from one of the brand's counters was the Mothbrown shadow from the Barbie Loves MAC collection. I still consider this item to be one of my prized possessions, using the violet-tinged taupe only on special occasions.

If you're also a MAC fanatic, join me as I reminisce over some of the most memorable collections of all time. From Hello Kitty to Giambattista Valli and every collection in between, there are hundreds of beautiful, brilliant products to ogle over. These items are all tragically limited edition (many of them being discontinued), but there could still be hope! MAC has been known to resurrect fan favorites, so maybe you'll be able to shop one of these wondrous formulas in the future.

The Punisher: If You Skipped Daredevil, Read This or You'll Be Confused

Have you started watching Netflix's The Punisher series and found yourself trying to remember exactly how the winsome journalist named Karen is connected to our intrepid antihero, Frank Castle? Never fear - we can help.

Karen Page, played by Deborah Ann Woll of True Blood, is from Daredevil. She originally works as a secretary at Union Allied Construction, meeting Foggy Nelson and Matt Murdock when they represent her over bogus murder charges. Page is being framed because she's a potential whistleblower for UAC's money-laundering activities. When Nelson and Murdock get her cleared of all charges, Page begins working as a paralegal for them.

As she continues to investigate UAC's criminal dealings, Page begins working with Ben Urich of the New York Bulletin. This eventually lands her a job at the newspaper, though that is months later, when she begins investigating the real story behind Frank Castle's killing spree. Page is disgusted that none of the stories about his crimes mention that the mobsters he's killing were responsible for murdering his wife and children, so she sets out to find out why and discovers that some higher-ups in New York City went to great lengths to cover up what happened to the Castle family.

Page and Castle forge an unlikely connection when he's on trial for his crimes, and she's one of his few advocates. She shows him a kindness and sympathy that few others do and that, coupled with the great onscreen chemistry Woll and Bernthal have together, has led to a vocal contingent of fans who heartily ship "Kastle."

Now on The Punisher, Frank is embroiled in a conspiracy bigger than he ever could have guessed, going back to the tours of duty he served in the Middle East. As he investigates who is really responsible for his family's death, Karen keeps appearing to try to talk him back from the ledge. At one point, she begs him to stop all the killing so that there's something left of him - because if he continues down this path, he may disappear altogether into the darkness. They share some lovely moments together in The Punisher, which are sure to have the Kastle contingent cheering.

But fans shouldn't get too excited about "Kastle" just yet. As Woll told Harper's Bazaar, there is something to be said for a platonic friendship between a man and a woman on screen.

"Jon and I certainly feel that there's room within that story to go there. But I also think as a woman, not every relationship with a man in the story has to be romantic," said Woll. "Frank's whole plot line is about avenging the murders of his wife and children, who he loved desperately, and until he comes to some closure with that, I don't know that Karen can really step on those toes. I do think that there's affection and longing between them, and just how that manifests, we'll just have to see."

How Many Hours of Sleep You Need Based on Your Zodiac Sign

You may be a night owl or an early riser, but turns out, the stars might have some say in what sleeping patterns you exhibit. And no matter if you're fighting your sign's natural tendencies or not, there might just be a certain number of hours of nightly shut-eye that can keep your body balanced and well, based on the zodiac. (And, get this: the way you meditate for balance is also influenced by your zodiac sign.)

Of course, you're better off listening to your body and the stars here - even if that means hitting the hay earlier than you'd like in order to secure those extra minutes - as you might find yourself getting more sick, tired, or hostile if you're skimping on those zzz's. (And those around you will probably urge you to get some rest, as well.)

Goods news - we found out how many hours you need each night based on your sign in order to avoid being that angry, bitter customer waiting in line at Starbucks on your morning commute. Here, astrologer Joshua MacGuire shares his tips. It's pretty important to follow, as lack of sleep can damage your health long-term.
