The Sneakers That Have Kate Middleton's Royal Stamp of Approval, From A to Z

Kate Middleton might be known for her gorgeous coats and couture gowns, but that doesn't mean that she doesn't like to dress down from time to time. Over the years, the duchess has worn a multitude of outfits that probably weren't queen approved, showing us that she certainly isn't too princess-like to play sports. If there's one thing that we've noticed, it's that her sneaker collection is totally on point. From her simple go-to Superga style to bolder of-the-moment choices, read on to see all the times Kate's given us major trainer envy.

All About Photographer Terry Richardson, the Accused Sexual Predator Banned From Vogue

Photographer Terry Richardson, 52, has been a fashion fixture since the '90s, when he began shooting magazine spreads and campaigns, many of which you might consider "racy." Nevertheless, he succeeded in the industry (many people refer to him as "Uncle Terry"), booking deals with popular brands like Marc Jacobs, Tom Ford, and Diesel and working with high-profile celebrities like Kylie Jenner, Lady Gaga, Bella Hadid, and Miley Cyrus.

But throughout his career, models have made sexual allegations against Richardson, sharing stories about inappropriate behavior on set. It's only now that Terry has reportedly become the focus of an NYPD investigation. In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal, Condé Nast officially banned Richardson and his work from its publications, including Vogue, GQ, and Glamour. The company's Vice President and Chief Operating Officer James Woolhouse reportedly sent an email on Monday, Oct. 23, that said:

I am writing to you on an important matter. Condé Nast would like to no longer work with the photographer Terry Richardson. Any shoots that have been commission[ed] or any shoots that have been completed but not yet published, should be killed and substituted with other material. Please could you confirm that this policy will be actioned in your market effective immediately. Thank you for your support in this matter.

This news has since been confirmed by Fashionista, leaving us, and hopefully many, a little more satisfied. Since the time the report circulated, Valentino, Bulgari, and Diesel have all released statements declaring they would no longer work with him. Considering how many models have come forward with Cameron Russell's encouragement, utilizing the hashtag #MyJobShouldNotIncludeAbuse, finally taking action against an individual like Richardson might at least bring some relief. Until more agencies follow suit and the investigation is carried out, read on to brush up on a few fast facts about Terry Richardson.

Margot Robbie's Red Carpet Looks Have All Been So Unbelievably Chic, We Can't Even Pick a Favorite

Margot Robbie could walk onto a red carpet in denim cutoffs and a white tank - she'd still be the sexiest one in the room. The 27-year-old Australian actress emits an inimitable glow even in black and white, but that doesn't mean she keeps all her outfits simple. In fact, some of Margot's very first looks are still imprinted in our minds, like the embellished Gucci sheath she wore to her first Golden Globes in 2014.

Since then, she's come a long way, working with stylist Kate Young to turn up in stunning looks from Versace, Prada, and Calvin Klein at events. Whether Margot's letting a design in a bright shade speak for itself or playing up a romantic silhouette with drool-worthy jewels, she always stays true to her signature sexy style, and we just can't stop staring. Read on to catch up and zoom in on some of her standout looks in light of her upcoming appearances this award season.

Meghan Markle's Worn This Hat So Many Times, We Can Hardly Imagine Her Trading It For a Fascinator

A brief scroll through Meghan Markle's Instagram feed doesn't only confirm the bouquet she'll probably carry on her wedding day or that she loves to travel - it also brings to light a few of her key accessories. While entry to the royal court might secure her access to a few tiaras and mandate she wear a fascinator for public events, it seems like Meghan already has a favorite accessory: her Madewell fedora, which she's been wearing on vacation since at least 2015. Ahead, you can see just how effortlessly she styles it, then shop similar versions (sadly, Madewell's is no longer in stock, though J.Crew offers a close alternative). Will she pack this baby with her for Kensington Palace? Only time will tell . . .

Kendall Jenner Wore an Impossibly Cropped Crop Top Under Her New Year's Suit

When taking in Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid's New Year's Eve snaps, you might first be struck by Bella's buckle-front, satin bustier top or her diamond choker. But Kendall's bold move was a little less obvious, albeit just as noteworthy. The supermodel slipped into a power suit and sneakers and drew attention to her ultracropped crop top with a fanny pack swung over her shoulder.

Her friends posted additional pictures that confirmed Kendall wasn't wearing a bra, her secret sauce for sex appeal being a flash of underboob. It seems like making a statement with a look-at-me top was the way to go this holiday season - just check out Emily Ratajkowski's plunging lace bodysuit for proof. Ahead, see a few more angles of Kendall's outfit, then shop inspired slashed tees if you're ready to work this daring trend yourself.

Meghan Markle's Always Wearing These Bracelets You Rarely See on the Royals

A brief scroll through Meghan Markle's Instagram confirms she's a fan of bangles. At least she was. When she stepped out with Prince Harry at the 2017 Invictus Games, Meghan was only wearing one single, delicate gold chain around her wrist, along with a few dainty rings. But rewind to her earlier days, and Meghan was stacking plenty of baubles on her arm. She even traded her more personalized set for an ornate trio at a cocktail party in 2012.

While this might not be a styling trick you've employed in awhile, we like that Meghan stayed true to her taste and wore the same bracelets for so many years. The British trove of jewelry includes plenty of prized gemstones, diamonds, and tiaras that have been passed down for generations, but nothing so effortless as a bangle. Nevertheless, we're admiring all the times Meghan showed them off ahead and shopping for some similar iterations still available now.

This Makeup Artist Paints Geodes On Her Body, and The Results Are Mesmerizing

It's no secret that we're pretty obsessed with all things geode, as you might have noticed by our nails or lips over the past year or so. It's a trend that shows no signs of dying down, and we're still in love with the colorful crystals. However, this time, the designs are on the body instead.

Self-taught makeup artist Katy Tolj has created the most incredible geode body art using makeup, and you'll be scrolling through her colorful series for hours.

Katy takes her inspiration from geodes and crystals because of how unique the structures are. She told POPSUGAR that "ever since I was little, I've been so intrigued by [crystals], the shapes and colors." Katy also told us that she wanted to create a SFX cut-up arm look that wasn't gory, and make it into a beautiful geode.

Arms are Katy's specialty, but she's also done a full face of crystal art and wants to expand to her legs. We're pretty sure that if we had one of these, we'd never shower again.

She uses Lime Crime Diamond Crushers ($18), an array of chunky glitters (she couldn't pick a favorite!), and Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Foundation ($37) to create a flawless base.

We're wondering what she'll do next. Geode eye makeup? Full body geode? We approve of both, naturally.

Ahead, see some of our favorite geode creations. BRB while we book a trip to Australia for an appointment with Katy.

What I Learned From Not Wearing Makeup For 2 Months

I've had the travel bug for as long as I can remember; I just can't stay put for too long. Last year, before I'd even finished the last of my university work, I'd jetted off to the USA to stay with family for six weeks. From there, my boyfriend and I traveled around Southeast Asia, part backpacking, part nice (budget) holiday-ing. I'd managed to pack up my belongings in a bag of a similar size to the one I now carry to work every day. I'd also packed less makeup and skin care for the trip than I use in a single day at home.

I packed only six items: cleanser, exfoliator, moisturizer, SPF, shampoo, and mascara. That's it. I'd recently had an HD Brows treatment (which included tinting), so I didn't need to worry about them. I didn't even take conditioner or hair oil (though I later regretted this and bought some on my travels). To say I packed light is an understatement.

Over the first few days, I missed my acid toner, mists, and array of concealers to rid my blemishes and dark circles. But surprisingly, after the initial shock of only having minimal products, I actually forgot about my lack of beauty products and didn't miss having those extra steps in my day.

Although I've been blessed with a quite a good complexion, I still have my skin hangups. Right now I could tell you exactly where all my skin concerns are (two spots by my nose, a scar on my left jaw, and a weird blackhead on my left cheek). I stare at them every time I do my skincare routine, wishing them away. But I actually can't tell you if my skin was particularly good or bad when I was traveling, because I didn't notice it, nor did I care. I didn't have the time (nor energy) for a 15-minute skincare routine, which is one of my favorite things at home.

My skin has definitely benefited from using an array of products, and I don't think I could ever have such a minimal routine long term. However, I have learned that giving my skin a break also gave me a break from obsessing over every blemish and imperfection. It also made me appreciate makeup. When I did decide to wear a slick of mascara once or twice in the evening, I felt great - like really great. I was amazed what such a tiny amount of product could do as a confidence booster. Never underestimate the power of mascara!

Now, I'm not saying that you shouldn't ever think about skin care again. Although there is more to life than beauty products, I strive for perfect skin and I really enjoy trying different products to find what works for me. But, there are no benefits to scrutinizing your every blemish in the mirror twice (or more) a day, because it probably isn't doing you or your skin any good. Sometimes, the basics are all you need. Embrace your natural beauty and enjoy those no-makeup moments as much as the makeup moments.

Let Us Now Praise Meghan Markle's Natural, Curly Hair

Image Source: Getty / Chris Jackson

While we await the royal wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in May 2018, beauty girls are left dreaming of all the ways the actress could wear her always-gorgeous hair. While Meghan's go-to is a soft, straight blowout (much like her future sister-in-law, Kate Middleton), the Daily Mail dug up some old high school yearbook photos of Meghan that are making us hope that the soon-to-be royal will wear her naturally curly hair down the aisle.

Yup, back in 1998, the (likely) future duchess was known as Rachel Markle, a 17-year-old student at LA's (all-girls!) Immaculate Heart High. While the thought of the entire world seeing your junior year class picture might make you break out in hives, our girl was predictably working it with a fresh face and voluminous natural curls. And Twitter is LIVING FOR IT.

"We got curls in the royal palace y'all!!!" Twitter user Kamie Crawford wrote. "Starting a petition to get Meghan to wear a fresh wash & go around the palace." Where do we sign?

Safe to say, we're f*cking thrilled that the royal family will soon include a woman with beautiful, natural curls. We're crossing our fingers that Meghan reps them next Spring while walking down the aisle of St. George's Chapel, even if she's pretty much always seen in public with straight hair. Perhaps it's a long shot, but hey, so is marrying a prince.

North West Adorably Nails Her First Session as an Aspiring Makeup Artist

North West is a girl with a dream! Over the weekend, Kim shared North's "first glam session" on her Instagram story, where we saw her gorgeous, colorful spread of Maybelline and ColourPop x My Little Pony products.

Earlier this year, Kim said that her daughter is obsessed with makeup brushes and is fascinated when Kim gets her hair blown out. But now, we're seeing North's passion for products in action, and makeup must be in her blood because she's definitely got skills. We just have one question: where are the Kylie Cosmetics lip kits and KKW Beauty contour kits?!

Read on to see North's "butterfly look," and gush over her adorable personalized makeup case. From now on, we're calling her Nori MUA.

Here Are the Exact Beauty Products Meghan Markle Uses - Including a $14 Perfume!

We've now spent over a decade admiring Kate Middleton's effortless approach to makeup and hoarding the products she reportedly loves (feel old yet?). Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially engaged, we're just as interested in learning what lives in the Suits actress's beauty bag.

Fact: it's impossible for Meghan to look anything less than perfect. From her positively glowing skin to her trademark long, wavy hair, the perhaps future duchess certainly looks the part of a royal. And, as Today reported, that Markle approach to makeup is actually pretty affordable. In fact, you may already have a pack of her go-to cleansing wipes at home.

And if you want to smell like her (hey, do you), you won't have to shell out nearly $200 as you would to replicate Princess Diana's signature scent. No, it costs a mere $14 to emulate eau de Meghan. Ahead, find out exactly how you can do that, along with other makeup, hair, and skincare products that she's put her royal seal of approval on.

The 3 Products That Cleared Up My Hormonal Acne Scars

I had clear, porcelain, glowing skin during those memorable teenage years when many adolescents suffer from acne flare-ups and cystic pimples. I never even used skincare products - not a drop. I remember how lucky I felt to not have to suffer through the emotional stress and embarrassment of having a face covered in craters, redness, hyperpigmentation, and dry, flaky skin . . . until it happened to me.

Around the time I attended college, I started noticing small breakouts along my entire jawline. I had no idea why. I wasn't doing anything different than I had been doing my whole life. And ironically, the more I took care of my skin, the more acne I got. I was embarrassed and depressed. Naturally, I ran to the local pharmacy and purchased some products recommended by my acne-prone friends, but with no results. If anything, my skin looked and felt worse. That's when I got serious and made an appointment with a dermatologist, who put me on topical and oral medications to treat my acne, which turned out to be hormonal due to the fact I had stopped taking birth control.

As Debra Wattenberg, MD, explained, "Hormonal acne tends to develop post-teenage years, and it is commonly distributed along the jawline, neck, and cheeks. It often presents with cysts that are caused by fluctuations in hormones . . . specifically increases in androgens like testosterone."

"Irregular menses, discontinuation of birth control pills, and menopause can all cause hormonal acne," she continued. "Treatment often requires oral medication because the cysts which develop from hormonal acne are deep and hard to treat. I commonly recommend antibiotics, birth control pills, and anti-androgens like Spironolactone."

Unfortunately, that's not the happy ending I would have liked. Although my acne was slowly clearing up, it had left behind terrible scars, known as hyperpigmentation and discoloration in the skin. Hyperpigmentation and scarring are caused from excessive picking at areas of irritation, picking pimples the wrong way, and picking away at pimples as they are healing.

I struggled to find the solution to correct my damaged skin. I tried all the top picks for scarring, but none worked. I was left feeling hopeless that my skin would ever be the same.

After months of research on vitamin C, turmeric, retinoids, and product testing, I finally found my skincare saviors. These three have worked their magic to completely clear my hyperpigmentation, scarring, and redness. This product combination is a skincare miracle worker like one I have never experienced before:

Peter Thomas Roth Acne Clearing Wash is formulated with two percent salicylic acid, which helps eliminate the breakout cycle while removing excess oil, makeup, and bacteria. It soothes and conditions the skin with allantoin and pro vitamin B5, leaving it thoroughly clean and residue-free!

"Salicylic acid helps to destroy the attachments between skin cells," Dr. Wattenberg explained. "It destroys the desmosome and therefore allows exfoliation of the skin and helps to unclog pores. It also has anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin C is an antioxidant and helps to destroy free radicals. It decreases inflammation from acne and helps to reduce redness and scarring. It also can help to reduce pigmentation. Rose is used to hydrate the skin; it's an emollient and it has some anti-inflammatory properties to decrease the chance for discoloration."

Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum is packed with ingredients to brighten and antioxidants to reverse surface damage. I mix it with the superfood-rich Skin & Lab Red Serum (a Korean-beauty staple), and my skin looks and feels better than it did in 2008. Wattenberg explained, "These products work to exfoliate the skin, thereby increasing cell turnover, preventing pigmentation, erythema, and scarring. The anti-inflammatory effects of the vitamin C prevent the erythema. Salicylic acid can dissolve the keratin plug that causes a blackhead. It dissolves oil and dead skin cells, making pores look smaller. It also decreases oil production because it's lipophilic and has the ability to penetrate the pore, destroy the oil, and unclog the pore."

I wish I could tell you that the road to finding the products that work best for your skin ailments is quick and easy, pain-free, and at times not emotionally draining. Luckily, you're one step closer to trying something that your skin and soul will thank you for; trust me!

Brie vs. Camembert: What's the Difference?

While both brie and camembert are cow's milk cheeses, are soft-ripening, and have a white, flowery rind, the two aren't interchangeable. So the next time you are at the store and must choose between brie or camembert, here's what you need to know.

  • Production: During the cheese-making process, cream is added to brie, but in camembert, it is not; as a result, brie is 60 percent milk fat, while camembert is only 45 percent. In addition, camembert uses stronger lactic starters that are inoculated into the cheese mold five times, contributing to a stronger-flavored cheese. Brie's lactic starters are only put into the cheese mold once, therefore the cheese is milder.
  • Outer appearance: The diameters of brie and camembert cheese molds are different. (Notice the Saint André brie to the left appears taller and smaller than the flat, round Ile de France camembert to the right. The camembert cheese mold has a specific size and weight of 250 grams.
  • Inner appearance: Brie tends to have a whitish inside, while camembert has a deeper yellowish color. A very ripe camembert will have runny insides; most versions of brie in America, however, are stabilized, meaning the cheese's center will have a firm texture that will never turn runny.
  • Smell and taste: Brie has a light, buttery scent and flavor with a salty finish. Camembert can be on the funkier side and smell earthy and barnyard-y like mushrooms or hay, with an intensely savory, umami flavor.
  • Affinage: Brie is made to be consumed immediately. While Americans tend to eat cheeses on the younger side, in France, most will practice affinage, or the art of ripening cheese, and will wait for six or eight weeks before cutting into a wheel of gooey, ripened camembert.

Which do you prefer: brie or camembert?

This Is Not a Joke: Taco Bell Is Introducing Nacho Fries For Just $1!

Fries and nacho cheese go together like, well, most things and nacho cheese, and Taco Bell is finally adding a menu item that combines the two. That's right, people: Taco Bell is introducing Nacho Fries! The fast-food restaurant's new Nacho Fries will debut nationwide on Jan. 25, and to make matters even more exciting, they'll only cost you $1. This sure-to-be-addictive new side features french fries "with bold Mexican seasoning" served with "a dippable side of warm nacho cheese," according to Taco Bell. The fries will also be served Supreme for $2.49 or Bell Grande for $3.49, topped with add-ons including beef, pico de gallo, nacho cheese, and sour cream. No offense, tortilla chips, but these fries might have you beat.

Taco Bell tested Nacho Fries at the beginning of last year in Irvine, CA, and left the rest of the country drooling over the possibility of trying them. Now, Taco Bell aficionados across the nation can add these to their orders for a limited time. This might be the best news you'll hear all day!

Brace Yourself - Cheese Is Now a Popular Tea Topping

Some people love their tea with a little milk and honey. Others take their tea with cream and sugar. Me? I love it with cheese. That's right, I said it. Cheese.

Wait, don't run off. I promise you cheese tea is a real thing and tastes nothing like what you think it does. Right now you might be imagining a piping hot cup of tea topped with curdling fondue, or perhaps a mug of tea spiraled with a mountain of canned squeeze cheese, but you'd be wrong. Cheese tea is nothing like that. In fact, it's got more in common with cheesecake or a milkshake than it does pizza.

Cheese tea, which originated in Taiwan and worked its way through Asia before gaining popularity in the US, began as tea topped with cheese powder. Yet like all great culinary inventions, it has evolved over time and now consists of a cup of tea topped with a thick layer of creamy foam. The foam is typically made from a mixture of cream cheese, whipped cream, and milk. It's akin to a lightly whipped, cheesecake-flavored milkshake sitting delicately on top of your brew, and it's ready to become your next Instagrammable drink (seriously, prepare to get lost in the mesmerizing collection of photos on the #cheesetea hashtag).

The drink has been popping up in US boba shops over the last couple of years, and a cult following has been steadily growing. But if you still can't get into the idea of pairing cheese with your tea, then perhaps the next evolution will strike your fancy.

"The only way to taste the flavors as they blend together is to drink it like a beer."

I frequently order "cheese" tea from Enough Tea & Coffee in San Francisco, and I spoke with the shop's owner, Kris Wang, to hear about her rendition that I can't get enough of. She's decided to forgo the cheese completely and offers a Sea Salt Mousse Tea ($5, pictured above) instead. Much like regular cheese tea, Wang's offering has a delicious dairy foam atop freshly brewed iced tea, with the choice of black, green, or oolong tea. However, Wang, a culinary school graduate, has applied her skills and created a version that does not use any cheese. The result is a lightly sweetened cold iced tea topped with a slightly thick, sweet, and salty whip. It's a major upgrade from the whipped cream you might be used to.

When I asked about what Wang thought of the cheese-tea trend taking on America, she laughed and said that it's great but that she's worried people won't drink it correctly. She says the only way to taste the flavors as they blend together is to drink it like a beer. So whether you get your hands on a cheese tea or a cheese-free one, take off the lid, put down the straw, and cheers!

11 Modifications You Didn't Know You Could Make at Starbucks

Whether you're more of an iced-coffee or grande-nonfat-mocha-no-whip type of Starbucks customer, there are easy ways to customize your drink to match your preference. While you might not find these modifications on the menu, that doesn't mean you can't make them at the register. Here's what to keep in mind the next time you find yourself in line at Starbucks and want a drink that's specifically tailored to your needs.

  1. Ask for light ice.
Not enough liquid and too much ice in your drink? Ask for light ice next time and you'll get more of the drink itself.
  2. Order your latte extra hot.
Ever feel like your hot coffee is cold by the time you get to the office? You can order your latte "extra hot" at the register, and the barista will steam the milk longer to increase the temperature.
  3. Specify unsweetened.
Certain Starbucks drinks are sneakily sweetened, including the iced coffee, iced teas, and the Green Tea Latte. For example, Starbucks's matcha powder contains sugar, and the Green Tea Latte typically has more sugar added to it. The iced coffee already comes with two pumps of Classic, aka simple syrup, so if you order it with two pumps, you're actually getting four. The default for a tall iced tea drink is three pumps of classic. If you'd rather have unsweetened drinks, be sure to specify that when you order.
  4. Customize your milk preference.
ICYMI, Starbucks has almond milk and coconut milk! There's also soy milk as another dairy-free option. Starbucks uses 2 percent milk in all drinks unless you specify otherwise, so speak up if you want whole milk, nonfat, or plant-based milk.
  5. Order a tall coffee in a grande cup.
Certain baristas might discourage this, but it's a common thing to order. To avoid wasting coffee by pouring out enough for milk, just order a smaller size coffee in a cup the next size up. This will give you more space than asking for "room."
  6. Order the "short" size.
Did you know a size smaller than the tall exists at Starbucks? While not listed on most menus, there is a size called the short, which is eight ounces and costs $2 for a drip coffee.
  7. Ask for no water for a stronger tea flavor.
Starbucks adds water to the cup of any iced tea drink to dilute it, so ask for no water if you want a stronger flavor.
  8. Ask for an extra shot.
Tall lattes come with one shot of espresso, grande espresso drinks come with two, and venti drinks come with two (hot) or three (iced). If it's just one of those days and you need an extra boost of caffeine, you can add another shot to any drink for 60 cents.
  9. Specify the number of syrup pumps.
When you order any drink that comes with a syrup flavor, a tall will have three, a grande will have four, and a venti will have five or six, depending on hot or iced, respectively. You can either add more for no extra cost or ask for fewer pumps if you want it less sweet.
  10. Ask for a different kind of sweetener.
You can ask for syrups, sugar, raw sugar, honey, Sweet and Low, Equal, or Splenda in any drink. You can also inquire about the sugar-free syrup options, like raspberry and vanilla, as well as the seasonal syrup options like peppermint.
  11. Order hot tea over ice.
If you're in the mood for a green tea or herbal tea but would rather have it cold than hot, you can ask for it served on ice. The barista will steep the tea and pour it in a plastic cup filled with ice, which takes about five minutes.

In the Slender Man Trailer, the Internet's Creepiest Horror Story Comes to Life

It's been nearly a decade since the Slender Man first haunted the internet on a viral creepy web forum, and now he's coming to the big screen. Like, say, stab themselves in the eye with a scalpel during science class. In a mix of other chilling horror movies that at are slated for 2018, this one certainly stands out.

Everyone Is Returning For Netflix's Bright Sequel Except For 1 Major Player

Netflix's Bright wasn't even out yet when the streaming giant decided to grant it a sequel, which was a surprising move for a number of reasons. Not only did Suicide Squad director David Ayer's gritty, supernatural action film - which cost a reported $90 million to make - get eviscerated by pretty much every critic following its release, but Netflix's move to build a movie franchise has never been done before.

The supernatural action film written by Max Landis takes place in an alternate version of LA where orcs, fairies, and elves live alongside humans. When a pair of mismatched cops team up - Daryl Ward (Will Smith), a human man, and Nick Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), an orc - the unlikely partners have to overcome their differences to keep one magic wand from getting into the hands of an evil elf (Noomi Rapace). Prime fantasy franchise material, right? Not so much. Reviews cited the film's shallow mythology and poorly executed racial allegory as its weak points, but that being said, Bright's Rotten Tomatoes score hints at a pretty sizable disparity between the critics' opinion and the audience's (26 percent vs. 89 percent).

Nevertheless, a Bright sequel is already underway with Smith, Ayer, and Edgerton fully on board. Landis, however, is out, with Ayer taking over both writing and directing duties. Netflix reportedly has an $8-billion budget and an 80-movie slate scheduled for 2018, making it clear that the streaming service is staking its claim in the movie industry. In fact, the Bright sequel will mark the first streaming franchise in history. At a UBS media conference in early December, it was revealed that the big-budget action film is just the tip of the iceberg for Netflix. The company's content boss, Ted Sarandos, said Bright will join four other large-scale properties that will arrive in 2018.

To celebrate the official confirmation of Bright 2, Netflix released a "leaked" orc audition tape. Check it out ahead!

This Man Lost $3,200 on Jeopardy For Mispronouncing "Gangsta's Paradise"

A man named Nick got hit with a savage blow on Jeopardy! when he lost thousands of dollars for saying "gangster" instead of "gangsta" in an answer about a Coolio song. The hilarious clip showing the moment from the episode is going viral on Twitter, and more than 2 million people have watched Nick's total go from $12,000 to $8,800 when host Alex Trebek explains the retraction after Nick's answer was initially counted correct. The clue in the Music and Literature Before and After Category was, "A song by Coolio from Dangerous Minds goes back in time to become a 1667 John Milton classic." The contestant responds with the play on words, "What is Gangster's Paradise Lost?"

After the contestant got credit for the answer, Alex said, "Our judges have reevaluated one of your responses a few moments ago. You said 'gangster's' instead of 'gangsta's' on that song by Coolio, so we take $3,200 away from you, so you are now in second place." Womp womp. Watch the awkward exchange play out for yourself above!

Grown-ish: Where You've Seen the Actor Who Plays Aaron

Fans of ABC's Black-ish are in for a treat with Grown-ish, a spinoff that follows the Johnsons' eldest daughter, Zoey, as she embarks on her collegiate career. The first two episodes premiered on Wednesday (Jan. 3), establishing an eclectic group of friends for Zoey - a ragtag group of students from her midnight digital marketing class, taught by Black-ish holdover Charlie Telphy, who happens to be Zoey's dad Dre's best friend and coworker.

But one particular friend in this modern-day Breakfast Club catches Zoey's eye . . . and he should definitely be catching your eye as well. Politically "woke" student Aaron is being set up as Zoey's potential love interest, and Trevor Jackson is a name you're going to want to remember.

The Indianapolis native is only 21 years old, but he already has an impressively long résumé. Jackson broke into show business at age 8 when he won the role of Young Simba in the national touring company of The Lion King. When his time on the tour ended, Jackson worked on Broadway and also logged a couple of guest-starring roles on Cold Case, Harry's Law, and Austin & Ally before landing a recurring role on Syfy's original series Eureka.

By the time he was 16, Jackson was starring in a Disney Channel original movie, Let It Shine, and signed with Atlantic Records, releasing an EP in 2013, an iTunes album in 2015, and later a YouTube channel to showcase his musical talents. He is also active with several charities, including the Ronald McDonald House, NBA Cares, and Snoop Dogg's "No Guns Allowed" campaign.

In 2016, Jackson was cast as the son of Regina King and Andre Benjamin in the second season of ABC Emmy-winning drama American Crime, earning praise as the captain of the basketball team who is implicated in an assault case.

Now on Grown-ish, he looks to be the object of Zoey's affections, though he seems far too involved with his political activism to regard her as anything more than a buddy. Guess we'll see if she can get him to sit up and take notice of her.

Yes, That's a Different Actress Playing Zoey's New BFF on Grown-ish

If you're a Black-ish fan, chances are you were super excited to tune in to the debut of its spinoff, Grown-ish, on Freeform on Jan. 3, as it sends Dre and Bow's eldest child, Zoey, off to college. But if you were left scratching your head about Zoey's new BFF, Nomi, don't worry - here's why she looked a little different than in the spinoff episode from season three.

When producers are planning a spinoff series, they'll oftentimes employ the use of a "backdoor pilot," which means they introduce the spinoff in an episode of the main show in the season prior to when the spinoff is going to launch. In Grown-ish's case, this was the episode titled "Liberal Arts," where a pre-frosh Zoey visits the California University campus and meets a few of the people who are going to be part of her spinoff world.

One of those people is Miriam, played in the backdoor pilot by Mallory Sparks. She's a white Jewish freshman who isn't great at picking up on social cues and is proud of the fact that she has had a few sexual experiences with black guys. She is established as Zoey's potential new best friend in the backdoor pilot, but is nowhere to be seen in the first two episodes of Grown-ish. Instead, Zoey meets Nomi, a white Jewish freshman who hasn't yet come out to her family as bisexual.

It's not that unusual for a show to recast a role or two between making the pilot and premiering the series, but this one maybe could have been explained a little better, though maybe the writers are banking on nobody remembering Miriam enough for it to make a difference. Either way, if you like Nomi, you should definitely check out actress Emily Arlook's other projects from before Grown-ish.

The 27-year-old Los Angeles native appeared in a couple rom-coms - Just Add Water and Valentine's Day - before landing a recurring role on Lisa Kudrow and Dan Bucatinsky's web comedy Sh*tty Boyfriends. From there, she went on to appear on MTV's comedy Mary + Jane, Amazon's drama Hand of God, and NBC's hit The Good Place.

But if Grown-ish takes off, it could be a breakout role for Arlook!

All the Marvel Characters Who Are For SURE in Avengers: Infinity War

This week, the internet promptly descended into chaos when Marvel dropped the first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War. While there are plenty of details to parse out from the 2-minute teaser, there's also a fun game to play: how many Marvel characters can you count before the screen smashes to black? In 2016, the writers revealed that there are up to 67 "available" characters that have appeared in prior Marvel movies, and that's not even counting the new characters they might introduce. While the writers said not all of these heroes will appear, it's still safe to assume the number will be very large. Here's who we spotted in just the first trailer alone.

Meryl Streep Says Dustin Hoffman "Overstepped" During Infamous Kramer vs. Kramer Slap Scene

Over the past few months, Hollywood has been hit with wave after wave of disturbing rape and sexual assault claims lauded against some of the movie industry's biggest players. The repeated claims birthed the #MeToo movement, which Meryl Streep recently opened up about during an interview with The New York Times. The conversation about Hollywood's toxic history naturally led to the accusations against Streep's Kramer vs. Kramer costar Dustin Hoffman, who is accused of exposing himself to a minor and assaulting two women. New York Times journalist Cara Buckley specifically asked Streep if she "had problems" with the actor and if he really slapped her during a scene in the pair's Oscar-winning divorce drama.

"That was when we were making Kramer vs. Kramer. This is tricky because when you're an actor, you're in a scene, you have to feel free," Streep said. "I'm sure that I have inadvertently hurt people in physical scenes. But there's a certain amount of forgiveness in that. But this was my first movie, and it was my first take in my first movie, and he just slapped me. And you see it in the movie. It was overstepping. But I think those things are being corrected in this moment. And they're not politically corrected; they're fixed. They will be fixed, because people won't accept it anymore. So that's a good thing."

Streep's comment on Hoffman's behavior comes after a recently resurfaced 1979 interview with Time, in which Streep recalled Hoffman groping her breast the first time they met. Her representative later noted that The Graduate star apologized to Streep, and they settled the matter. Fortunately the Mamma Mia actress has dedicated herself to lifting up the #MeToo movement and helping to stamp out some of the movie industry's more insidious habits.

"I do think if the world is going to go on, we have to find out a way to work together, and know that it's better for men if they respect us deeply as equals."

This Is Who Jimmy Kimmel Thinks Will Win The Bachelor (and Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s Heart)

The Bachelor premiered on Jan. 1, but Jimmy Kimmel already has a guess at which lady will steal Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart. During Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday, the host grilled the 36-year-old race car driver about who he picks. While Luyendyk didn't budge, he did admit that he fell in love with two women this season. With this tidbit of information, Kimmel predicted that he will actually fall for Bekah M. (who is nearly 15 years his junior) and Becca K. This wouldn't be the first time Kimmel has correctly guessed a winner. Not only did he predict that Nick Viall would pick Vanessa last season, but he also said that JoJo Fletcher would end up Jordan Rodgers on The Bachelorette. Guess we'll just have to wait and see if he's right this time around.
