8 Things You Need to Do Before Selling Your iPhone

Ready to trade in your old iPhone for the new one? Before you do, take a look at this checklist to make sure you've deleted all important data from your iPhone. Don't leave anything behind!

  1. Back up your iPhone.
  2. Remove photos from Camera Roll. Connect the device to your computer and open Image Capture or iPhoto. Select all photos and then click Import All. In iPhoto, choose to "delete photos from your iPhone" after importing. In Image Capture, if the "Delete Items After Downloading" option no longer appears, try this: turn off "Photos" in iCloud on your Mac and iPhone, then restart both devices, and you should see the delete button.
  3. Turn iMessage off. Open the Settings app > Messages > iMessage > switch to off.
  4. Turn FaceTime off. Open the Settings app > FaceTime > switch to off.
  5. Disable your iCloud account. Open the Settings app > iCloud > tap "Sign Out."
  6. Log out of Apple ID. Open the Settings app >App and iTunes Stores > tap Apple ID and sign out.
  7. Restore to factory settings. Open the Settings app > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
  8. Unregister your device at supportprofile.apple.com.
  9. Call your carrier and ask them to disassociate the device from your account.

An important tip! Whatever you do, don't manually delete contacts, photo streams, calendars, or reminders while logged in to your iCloud account. This will also delete the content from the iCloud servers and your iCloud-connected devices (like your iPad or laptop).

Another important tip! If your phone accidentally runs out of battery during the "restore to factory settings" step, use iTunes to erase data. Connect the device to your computer, then restore the backup. Connect your phone to power, go to Settings app > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings again.

OK, but seriously, this is the last important tip! You can erase your device remotely. If you set up Find My iPhone, sign into icloud.com/#find, then click on All Devices and select the phone you want to erase. In the info window, click "Erase iPhone." You'll need to enter your Apple ID password.

How I Turned My Ikea Couch Into a $10,000 Designer Sofa

I don't believe you grow out of Ikea past the age of 25. I love the Swedish brand's minimalist aesthetic. And since I like to mix things up, the price point works for a design commitment-phobe like me. Despite my Ikea love, after three years, my Karlstad sofa started to look a bit sad. Since the low-profile sofa fit perfectly in my open living room, I decided to give it a designer-couch makeover instead of replacing it.

This Raleigh Sectional from Design Within Reach (pictured above) served as my inspiration. The walnut frame matched the midcentury vibe I strive for, and the light fabric color would add to the airy look in my bright living space. That sofa retails for as much as $10,000. I knew I could DIY the look for less. Read on for how I did it.

What No One Tells You About the KonMari Method

I'm an evangelist for Marie Kondo, the Japanese organizational guru whose unique tidying techniques have become a worldwide sensation. I've read both of her books and completed the full decluttering/reorganizing program in six months. In the last year, it has been my favorite thing to bring up to my friends, co-workers, heck, even distant cousins. I am obsessed, because it really has transformed my living space and shattered many of my bad habits related to tidying. Some people aren't convinced and steadfastly refuse to KonMari their home. Me, on the other hand, I'm a fervent believer, because I learned so much. Here are my greatest takeaways based on my experience.

Lesson 1: Getting rid of everything that doesn't "spark joy" is really liberating.

I know this sounds extreme, and I know some people claim there is room for regret with all the purging that happens, but not me. It was a chance to get rid of that set of lamps I always loathed, the antler candelabras and other ridiculous items I never used and somehow casually inherited, and the piles of unread books that bubbled up anxiety and regret every time I looked at them. Getting rid of all the extra junk felt so empowering and liberating, and it paved the way to celebrating and cherishing the few items I really love.

Lesson 2: Scaling back on my possessions made it easy to move.

I completed the KonMari Method while I was living in a dark studio apartment with views of white concrete walls. I had been there five years and felt the itch to move, but I didn't know how I was going to do it in crazy-expensive San Francisco. That same week, I ran into my landlord. She was trying to fill an empty unit, and on a whim, I asked to see it. One week later, I signed the lease and moved in to a beautiful, spacious, sunny apartment overlooking a courtyard and five-story-tall avocado tree. This was a month ago. Never in my wildest imagination could I have done such a thing had I not purged myself of all the extra stuff I had accumulated in my 10 years of adult living.

Lesson 3: I became confident about my sense of design (for the first time!).

My mom is an interior designer (her San Francisco apartment was even featured on POPSUGAR!). She's a pro at organizing spaces, filling them with bold colors, fabulous pieces of furniture, and thought-provoking accessories. Before Kondo, I felt completely reliant on my mom for anything and everything related to interior design and would avoid moving or getting rid of anything, even silly junk. But afterward, I realize I actually have a distinct design style, separate from my mom's. I love sparkly metallics against whites and light browns. I like my cookbooks to be color-coded like a rainbow. I carefully potted my own succulent arrangements to perch on sunny spots around the house. I prefer my kitchen and bathroom to be stark clean and shine brilliantly white.

Lesson 4: I feel relaxed and joyful in my home.

In her first title, The Life‑Changing Magic of Tidying Up, Kondo says, "When you put your house in order, you put your affairs and your past in order, too." It's true. The hardest part of the KonMari Method is purging keepsakes that hold a lot of emotional significance like old love letters and, for me, hundreds of pages of notes from my favorite professor's classes in college and all my ballet clothes, including my first set of point shoes. It's painful to say goodbye to these things, yes, but something sort of woo-woo happens when they become out of sight. Before, my house was a dark, heavy place filled to the brim with stuff from my past. After, it became a light, bright place with no history and no regrets. As Kondo puts it, it's a space that's "A detachment from the past. Not fearing the future." And now, every time I walk into my apartment, I'm filled with relaxation and joy. Imagine that!

The Truth About Getting Your Home Renovated on Property Brothers

We would be lying if we said that in all the hours of Property Brothers watching we have under our tool belts, we hadn't pretended it was us on screen. It's nearly impossible not to imagine what it would be like to create our dream home with Drew and Jonathan; what outdated house would we have Drew put an offer in on? How many walls would we demand Jonathan knock down to create our open concept living area? What personalized wall art project would the brothers thoughtfully surprise us with? Would we meddle during the renovations? Cry at the reveal? The only way to know is to be on the show, and now we know exactly what producers look for when picking the homeowners. Think you have what it takes to be cast on Property Brothers? Keep reading to find out.

You Must . . .

  1. Have a Sidekick

No solo Sallys allowed. They want a dynamic duo, be it you and your spouse, partner, friend, whatever.

  2. Have a Reno Budget of at Least $65,000 USD

Jonathan might be a magician, but he still needs some moolah to work his magic.

  3. Pick the Four Rooms You Want Made Over

With a six- to seven-week shooting schedule, they don't have time to gut whole houses! Applicants must pick four rooms they want their renovation budget to cover.

  4. Decide Between Renovating the Kitchen or the Bathroom - Not Both

You can't have it all. You must pick between these two expensive and time-consuming house hot spots.

  5. Throw In a 25 Percent Contingency Fee

Things inevitably go wrong (leaky roof, termite infestation, bad electrical wiring) and when they do, the Property Brothers want a homeowner who can survive the unbudgeted overages.

  6. Tell Them What House You're Already Looking At

The application asks you to give the address of a house you're interested in and even provides a space for you to tell them when you're closing on a house if you've already purchased one.

  7. Be Free to Film Eight Weekdays

If you want to be on the Property Brothers, you better make time for them - they need you to be available to shoot for eight days total over the course of six to seven weeks.

  8. Make Quick Decisions

Dilly-dalliers need not apply; the Property Brothers are busy and they need to keep your reno moving along.

  9. Have Funding Already Lined Up

No point in casting you if you can't actually purchase a home. They want to know exactly how you're going to finance this major purchase.

4 Ways Decluttering Will Improve Your Health

Medical professionals and organizers alike believe that a cluttered home is not just an aesthetic problem - it can lead to very real health issues like insomnia, weight gain, anxiety, and depression. Done & Done NYC has worked with many clients who experience health symptoms related to a messy house and a messy mind. Based on our extensive experience, we have zeroed in on the biggest problem areas in your home, and can teach you how to clear harmful clutter.

1. Cluttered surfaces can create anxiety.

The Problem: Surfaces covered in papers, makeup, clothes, and dishes create a sense of visual chaos.

How it affects you health: You will almost certainly have trouble finding what you need, which can lead to the stressful experience of rushing out of the house every morning. Do you lose important things, like your car keys or work documents in your own home? Increased stress levels can raise your cortisol levels and increase your risk of cardiovascular issues and anxiety and insomnia. It will make you more distracted and less productive. It can also spread stress to your roommates, family members, and co-workers, which can lead to interpersonal conflicts.

The Solution: Schedule a weekend to declutter your home. Purge your closet, open the mail that's piling up, and buy some attractive bins to keep items by category like makeup, office supplies, and other items. Then, establish an ironclad daily routine. Kate's Pawlowski, cofounder of Done & Done NYC, suggests, "after having coffee, spend five minutes on each of the following tasks: clearing tables, loading the dishwasher, fold clothes, make your bed. This way, you will never have to return to a messy house after a long work day, and prevent a clutter relapse by letting things pile up."

2. Messy, unfinished projects can lead to depression.

The Problem: Your knitting is in a knotted pile on the floor of your bedroom. Or you started crafting, but halfway through had to leave to go out. That was six months ago and you still haven't picked it back up!

How it affects your health: The feeling of never finishing a project can reinforce negative beliefs about ourselves that affect our self-esteem. These hobbies are important to our creative lives and should be outlets for our creativity, not a drain on our energy.

The Solution: Create a dedicated workspace for your projects. If you don't have the space for a desk and storage, then organize each project into bins and stack them in a closet. The objective is to centralize your projects in one place so they don't spill all over your house. If you are in the middle of one right now, and don't have the time or willingness to finish: give yourself permission to throw it away, and start again another time. Remember: hobbies are supposed to be pleasurable and stress relieving!

3. A chaotic bedroom can prevent a good night's sleep.

The Problem: Your bedroom doubles as your living room and home office, and the floor is a stew of papers, clothes, and blankets.

How it affects your health: Even if you're not conscious of it, a cluttered bedroom can make you restless and keyed up before bed. Insomnia can reinforce anxiety and leave you lethargic all day long.

The Solution: If possible, take all nonsleep related things out of the bedroom. Your laptop should live in your office or in your living room, as should all work and creative things. Fold your clothes neatly in your closet to keep your floor clear. Kate even keeps her phone in her living room at all times, so she isn't tempted to scroll through her Instagram feed before bed. Make a rule about what goes in your bedroom and keep it totally analog: a good book, a cup of herbal tea, and a snuggly blanket (or snuggle buddy!).

4. Holding onto things you don't use can lead to weight gain.

The Problem: You feel so overwhelmed at home that your meals are a mad dash to the fridge. You have so much on your mind, carving out the time to go to the gym isn't an option. Sitting down to a peaceful meditation in the morning? Please.

How it affects your health: You may not think that clutter, meditation, and weight gain are related, but they definitely are. Peter Walsh, fellow professional organizer, argues that the stress of a cluttered home can elevate certain hormones that cause your body to hold onto excess weight. Not to mention that a calm mind is more in tune with the body, and is apt to choose healthier foods.

The Solution: Once you're finished with your living room and bedroom clear out, move onto your kitchen. Organize your refrigerator into sections. Proteins such as meat and tofu can go on one shelf, vegetables and fruits in the drawer, milk and yogurt on the shelf. Being able to see what's in your fridge will let you shop smarter when at the grocery store, so you always have what you need. Also, your newly organized home will give you the mental clarity to truly be able to ask yourself, "What do I want to eat?" Meals are no longer acts of hurried desperation, but thoughtful and mindful experiences.

Change doesn't happen overnight. Be kind to yourself during this process - you are trying your best! And so am I, imperfectly.

If there are rules that you as a renter must follow, make it these 10 commandments. Because, while paying your rent on time is important, so too is making sure your place is personalized and stylish. Working within the boundaries of your landlord, it's little things like a new light fixture that will make an impact without costing a lot of time or money. And, the best part about this entire list is that you'll leave with your security deposit intact once it's time to move up and on.

You'd Never Guess That the Inside of This Yurt in Malibu Looked Like This

One of the many reasons I love staying at Airbnbs over hotels is that you're able to experience unique accommodations unlike any other. One particular listing I'll be adding to my Airbnb Wish List is the Malibu Yurt Retreat that's surrounded by 180 degrees of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy.

By the looks of its exterior, you'd never guess that the unassuming yurt included a loft bed, a kitchen, an en-suite bathroom and shower, a TV, a couch, and more inside. And since it's located on an organic citrus farm, guests can even enjoy farm-to-table meals homecooked by the hosts themselves. The beach is also conveniently located just two miles away.

At a reasonable price of $135 per night, the Malibu Yurt offers a rare experience that over 500 guests have rated and loved. See the awesome photos ahead!

A Look at Disney World's Ticket Price History Will Make You Miss the Good Old Days

As Disney park admission costs continue to rise nearly every year, it's hard to imagine a time when tickets were reasonably affordable. There's even been speculation that the increase could be an attempt to curb overcrowding issues.

Since opening its gates in 1971, Walt Disney World tickets have gone from $3.50 - crazy, right? - to now $99 (value price) to $119 (peak price). Take a look at how costs have changed over the years, according to data from AllEars.net.

Between 1971 and 1981

Single-day tickets: $3.50 to $13.25

Between 1982 and 1986

Single-day tickets: $13.25 to $26
Annual passes: $100 to $155

Between 1987 and 1996

Single-day tickets: $28 to $39.75
Annual passes: $165 to $288

Between 1998 and 2005

Single-day tickets: $42 to $59.75
Annual passes: $288 to $395

Between 2006 and 2011

Single-day tickets: $63 to $85
Annual passes: $415 to $519

  • 2012: $89 / $574
  • 2013: $90 to $95 / $609
  • 2014: $94 to $99 / $634
  • 2015: $97 to $105 / $659
  • 2016: $105 to $124 / $749
  • 2017: $107 to $124 / $779
  • 2018: $99 to $119 / $779

The largest spike in single-day costs occurred in 2016 with a $19 increase in its peak prices, while 2012 was the year of the highest increase in annual pass prices. Annual passes did also go up by $90 in 2015, but that was when the Annual Pass became the Platinum Pass and the Premium Annual Pass became the Platinum Plus Pass. To see the full breakdown by year, check out the comprehensive chart on AllEars.net.

It actually looks like single-day ticket prices have slightly lowered this year in comparison to 2016 and 2017 costs! Though Disney World tickets will probably never be as reasonable as they once were, there are definitely ways to visit on a budget.

A Case For Why Taking "Too Many" Photos Is Actually a Way to Live in the Moment

I can't count the amount of times I've been shooting a photograph and tripped, knocked into a pole, or straight up fell down. Most of my travels are spent behind the lens of my camera, attempting to capture the world in a permanent way. And for each time I embarrassingly injure myself by not being completely aware of my surroundings, I'm actually doing it in pursuit of being completely aware of my surroundings.

Some argue that when you take photos or post on Instagram, you're not living in the moment. This argument comes mostly into play when you're traveling. I've had complete strangers tell me to get my DSLR away from my face and look at the landscape, event, person, or whatever is going on, with my own eyes. Think pieces will tell you that next time you travel, you shouldn't take any photos, and instead, try to be present. Even my boyfriend has questioned why I can't just enjoy an instance without opening the camera app on my phone.

I am one to argue that I am at my most present when my finger is on the shutter button of my camera. I take photographs because, in the moment, I am most at awe with what I've witnessed and need to preserve that memory forever. And better yet, because I took those photos, I then get to relive that memory later when I'm viewing the photos on my computer as I choose the best ones to edit in Lightroom for publication on my portfolio or blog.

Telling photographers to leave our cameras behind or "pay attention" is counterintuitive to how we see the world and wish to remember it.

In the film, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, a Life Magazine photographer waits on top of a mountain in the Himalayas for a snow leopard he's been waiting to shoot to appear. When the big cat finally appears for the perfect one-in-a-million-shot, he does not take a photograph and instead just sits there and watches it through his lens. Walter Mitty asks him why he didn't take a photo and the photographer utters the famous quote, "Beautiful things don't ask for attention," and adds that if he really loves a moment, he doesn't take a photo of it and just wants to stay there in the moment.

While I agree with the sentiment of this . . . I would just take the photo. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing beautiful things and finding a way to latch onto them forever. The artist, journalist, creator, and intuitive being inside of me feels that there is no disconnect between what I see with my eyes than when reality and my vision is separated by a lens. The photographer Marc Riboud once said, "Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second," and I wholeheartedly agree. I savor the reality I'm seeing and I just happen to use a mechanic instrument to steal it.

Perhaps someday I'll test the theory of using just the recall of the most inner parts of my brain to extract memories of my adventures. Often I wish I could be someone who can do that at will and stand and stare at something with no desire to tarnish the space with the click of the shutter. However, at this time in my life, this incessant need to press a button to capture an image is an odd addiction that I have no desire to break and don't feel the need to apologize for.

In your quest to find out what being present actually means to you, know that for some, we can be pulled out of a moment over panic that we forgot our camera at home or our phone is about to die. Some of us are photographers who make a living or thrive artistically off lugging our heavy equipment along with us to our destinations. Telling us to leave our cameras behind or "pay attention" sans lens is counterintuitive to how we see the world and wish to remember it.

8 At-Home Remedies Your Grandma Swears by That Actually Work

Readers, it's time to thank your grandma. Those crazy Latin at-home remedies she showered on you when you were under the weather might have actually worked. In fact, Dr. Keith Roach, associate professor of clinical medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, says that even the rituals that don't have any scientific backing could work - just because you believe in them. "The placebo effect is powerful," he said.

While there are certain Latin cures the doctor advises you should skip when you're sick (like anything involving raw egg, which can carry salmonella, or a shot of alcohol, which can actually be dangerous to your liver during certain illnesses), he weighed in on why some of the most popular get-better-soon treatments that your grandma used actually, truly work. Keep reading to find the list, then check out the family beauty treatments that you should be trying.

Macarons: Don't Confuse Them With Macaroons

It's high time we set the record straight: the word "macaron" is not an alternate spelling of macaroon. In fact, the two terms refer to distinctly different things. Both macarons and macaroons are confections, and both names are derived from ammaccare, which is Italian for "to crush" - but that's where the similarities end.

A macaron specifically refers to a meringue-based cookie made with almond flour, egg whites, and granulated and powdered sugar, then filled with buttercream, ganache or fruit curd. The delicate treat has a crunchy exterior and a weightless interior with a soft ending that's almost nougatlike in its chewiness. To add to the confusion, it's often called a French macaroon.

In contrast, the word macaroon is a generic phrase that is applied to a number of small, sweet confections. Mostly, the term is equated with the moist and dense coconut macaroon, which is composed of egg whites, sugar, and dried coconut, often piped with a star-shaped tip, and sometimes dipped in chocolate. The coconut macaroon, or congolais, as it's known in France, is frequently served during Passover because it contains no flour.

If Bourne Identity and The Disaster Artist Had a Baby, It Would Be This New HBO Show

Bill Hader's return to TV isn't exactly what we expected, but we're here for it regardless. The Saturday Night Live alum has a new show coming to HBO on March 25 called Barry, and it definitely has one of the network's more oddball premises. The comedy follows Hader's Barry, a talented hitman from the Midwest whose life feels unfulfilled. Fortunately, he stumbles upon his true passion in life - acting - when he relocates to Los Angeles and starts taking theater classes from a man named Cousineau (Henry Winkler). Barry also stars Stephen Root and Sarah Goldberg, whom you can catch a glimpse of in the trailer above!

Timothée Chalamet Met Angelina Jolie, Then Jennifer Aniston Right After, Freaked Out Accordingly

Award-season darling and Call Me by Your Name breakout star Timothée Chalamet had a great night at the Golden Globes, even if he did lose the best actor in a drama award to Gary Oldman. Chalamet is still pretty new to the awards circuit, and as he told Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, he and his sister were psyched to be meeting celebrities - particularly Angelina Jolie . . . then Jennifer Aniston, in quick succession. It was a situation that had us all in kind of a tizzy, and Chalamet had the exact reaction you probably would have too - namely, a freak-out that he re-created for Jimmy, asking, "Which side are we on?!" Chalamet's story is so endearing; it's just another reason to adore the up-and-comer.

Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman Have Settled Their Divorce

Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman have reached a settlement in their divorce, TMZ confirmed on Wednesday. The same day they posted a video of the movie mogul getting slapped in the face at a Scottsdale, AZ restaurant, the outlet shared details of the dissolution of his marriage. TMZ reports that the couple "hashed out both a property settlement agreement and a custody arrangement" concerning their two children, 7-year-old daughter India and 4-year-old son Dashiell. The settlement also takes into account their prenup, which allows for more spousal support since their marriage crossed the 10-year mark; Chapman and Weinstein tied the knot in December 2007. Now that the settlement as been agreed upon, a formal divorce petition is likely soon to follow.

In the wake of the multiple sexual harassment and assault allegations made against Weinstein in October, Georgina Chapman announced her plans to leave her husband. In a statement, the Marchesa designer wrote, "My heart breaks for all the women who have suffered tremendous pain because of these unforgivable actions. I have chosen to leave my husband. Caring for my young children is my first priority and I ask the media for privacy at this time."

Serena Williams's Daughter, Alexis Olympia, Is Serving Cuteness in Her Vogue Debut

Serena Williams is known for being a powerful force on the tennis court, but these days, the competitive sports player is channeling her softer side, thanks to motherhood. The 36-year-old Grand Slam champion and her daughter, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. are the cover stars of Vogue's February issue, and to say they're both serving up cuteness would be an understatement. Serena has shared glimpses of how her life has changed since giving birth in September, and now she's opening up about why she's "so glad" she's raising a baby girl.

"I think sometimes women limit themselves," Serena told the fashion magazine. "I'm not sure why we think that way, but I know that we're sometimes taught to not dream as big as men, not to believe we can be a president or a CEO, when in the same household, a male child is told he can be anything he wants. I'm so glad I had a daughter. I want to teach her that there are no limits." Preach, Serena!

See the cutest photos from their adorable family photo shoot, which included a guest appearance from Serena's sisters, Venus Williams and Lyndrea and Isha Price, and Serena's mom, Oracene, ahead.

Meet the Star-Studded Cast of The Goldfinch Movie Adaptation

Donna Tartt's 2013 bestseller, The Goldfinch, will be adapted into a movie in 2019, and right on schedule, the film is amassing a star-studded cast. The latest star to be added to the tale of a young man who steals the titular painting is Luke Wilson, who joins previously cast stars like Ansel Elgort and Sarah Paulson. We previously learned that Brooklyn's John Crowley would direct, and while we daydreamed about who could star, here's the real cast of the big-screen version.

She's Coming Out: Diana Ross Is Looking Fabulous at 73 on the Beach in Hawaii

If we didn't know any better, we'd say Diana Ross has found the fountain of youth! The 73-year-old music superstar is currently enjoying a family vacation in Oahu, HI, and on Tuesday, she hit the beach with some of her children and grandchildren - including daughter Rhonda Ross and son Ross Naess and his family. Clad in a frilly red swimsuit and big black sunglasses (she obviously didn't get Kanye West's memo), Diana looked fabulous as she soaked up the sun and walked along the beach.

Diana certainly seems to be living her best life lately. Not only was she honored with a lifetime achievement award at the American Music Awards this past November, but over the weekend, she and her son Evan hit up The Abbey nightclub in LA, where Diana got on stage and danced to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough." All we have to say about that is, "Yasss, queen!"

Proof That Not Even Harry Potter Glasses Can Make Cillian Murphy Unattractive

The following contains light spoilers for Peaky Blinders.

Just when we thought that Peaky Blinders's Tommy Shelby couldn't get any finer than his usual "moody and grieving, but still dapper and dangerous" look, season four of the British gangster series - now streaming on Netflix - added a whole new element to the character's look that has fans everywhere thanking their lucky stars. It might seem counterintuitive that putting something in front of dashing Shelby actor Cillian Murphy's piercing blue eyes would somehow make them even more soulful, but a pair of round-framed spectacles in the new season has achieved precisely that.

While the style of eyewear might be a bit Harry Potter-esque on anybody else, the glasses suit Tommy's old-school style and "business first" attitude perfectly. He doesn't wear his best new accessory in every scene of season four, but fans can't get enough of the scenes when he does! We've rounded up some of the best moments featuring Tommy's glasses for your enjoyment; don't say we never did anything for you.

Norman Reedus Is Not Cool With Carl's Death on The Walking Dead: "Who's Left?"

If you're all caught up on the bleak apocalyptic world of The Walking Dead, then you've probably been forced to come to terms with one upsetting reality: Carl's imminent death. The upsetting twist had the internet spiraling with grief and shock. Even the father of Chandler Riggs, the actor who plays Carl Grimes, couldn't help but voice his frustration with the creators, the show, and even the AMC network when it came to the character's fate. And it doesn't stop there. It turns out even members of the cast are feeling extremely disappointed.

"When you lose those key members, it's such a big blow to the show . . . Who's left?"

In the January issue of Entertainment Weekly, Norman Reedus (who plays Daryl) is not shy about sharing his thoughts on the matter. If you ask him, Carl's exit from the show isn't just a difficult thing to come to terms with - Reedus thinks the show won't be the same without the character around. "The people that started this show, to me, are the heart of the show. When you lose those key members, it's such a big blow to the show, and to the fans, and to us that are there," Reedus told EW. "Who's left? There's only a few of us left out of all those people. If you wanted to turn it into a totally different show, you get rid of those people. But if you want to hold on to what made the show special, you've got to be very careful what you do with those people."

Like it or not, the reality is Carl will die when the show returns on Feb. 25. The question then becomes: how will they handle such a delicate and sensitive situation? While Reedus didn't really give any details pertaining to the send-off itself, he dropped a few hints about what the episode as a whole will accomplish. "He's definitely leaving behind a really long-lasting legacy," Reedus explained, "which was the coolest part about playing those final moments - knowing that Carl was going to have such a lasting impact on the story."

At this point, we'll just have to sit tight and wait until the doomed hour approaches.

Helen Mirren's New Horror Movie Is Based on a True Story, and the Trailer Is TERRIFYING

Usually Helen Mirren terrifies me with just how good of an actress she is, but in Winchester, it looks like she's just plain terrifying. The legendary actress stars in the upcoming horror film, which centers around a real-life haunted house outside of San Francisco, alongside Jason Clarke and Sarah Snook. Mirren plays eccentric firearm heiress Sarah Winchester, who not only believes she's being haunted by the souls of people murdered by Winchester rifles, but also ordered that the construction on her massive house never stop - builders were there 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for decades.

Is it merely the physical manifestation of one woman's madness, or something more sinister? Doctor Eric Price (Clarke) decides to find out, whether the vengeful ghosts who might live there want him to or not. Check out the latest trailer for Winchester above, before it hits theaters on Feb. 2, 2018.

Trevor Jackson is currently stealing hearts as Aaron Jackson on Freeform's college series Grown-ish, but quite a few people were initially hesitant to admit their crush on the former Disney actor. "Trevor Jackson looks kinda hot. I feel like a cougar saying that," one person tweeted during show's premiere. "Wait [Trevor] is how old?" another person asked. We can confirm Trevor is 21 years old. He was born on Aug. 30, 1996, which means he's grown - no ish about it. It also means you're allowed to thirst over him without feeling guilty. We've rounded up 15 photos of Trevor being a walking hottie for your viewing pleasure ahead.

Prince Charles Wanted These Names For William and Harry, but Diana Called Them "Too Old"

Princess Diana and Prince Charles didn't agree on a lot of things during their tumultuous 10-year marriage, and, perhaps quite relatably, baby names was one of them. Like most expectant parents, Charles and Diana had different ideas about what to name their children, but unlike most expectant parents, they were obligated to give their offspring strong, regal names that would sound good with a king or queen title in front of them. The British nobility routinely follow tradition when it comes to picking out names for royal babies, often referencing monarchs of the past - which is why you'll see a number of Georges, Philips, Henrys, Elizabeths, and Victorias in the family tree.

When Diana gave birth to her first son in June 1982, he was given the name William Arthur Philip Louis; two years later, Prince Harry was christened Henry Charles Albert David. In a recorded interview that would go on to be published in the controversial 1992 book Diana: Her Story by Andrew Morton, Diana admitted that she picked the first names for both of her newborn sons after nixing the ones Charles had in mind. When asked, "Who chose [Harry's] name?," Diana said, "I did," adding, "I chose William and Harry, but Charles did the rest." She went on: "He wanted Albert and Arthur, and I said no. Too old!" She may have been on to something, but William could always choose a different regnal name when he becomes king - even Prince Charles, who was christened Charles Philip Arthur George, is expected to be known as King George VII when he takes the throne. William also paid homage to both of his parents with the names of his two children: George Alexander Louis and Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

Diana also revealed the heartbreaking comment that Charles made shortly after Harry's birth: "His first comment was, 'Oh God, it's a boy,'" Diana said. "His second: 'And he's even got red hair.'" Charles was vocal about his desire for a daughter and reportedly told Diana's mother at Harry's christening, "We were so disappointed - we thought it would be a girl." Wonder what names they would have picked out for a little princess?

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and fiancé Jason Statham welcomed their first child, son Jack Oscar Statham, in June 2017, and the model and actress was back in a bikini for a steamy beach photo shoot in the Bahamas. On Tuesday, the English stunner was spotted striking a series of poses in several different swimsuits, looking hotter than ever and getting playful for the cameras. Brace Yourself: Queenie and Jim Hopper - Er, Alison Sudol and David Harbour - May Be Dating

There were tons of celebrity couples who turned the Golden Globes into their own personal date night on Sunday, but one couple who caught our eye in particular was David Harbour and Alison Sudol. OK, technically they haven't officially confirmed that they're together yet, but the pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Not only did the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them actress accompany the Stranger Things actor on the red carpet, but the two could not stop giggling and giving each other heart eyes throughout the night. To top things off, Queenie and Jim Hopper - er, Alison and David - popped up at Netflix's Golden Globes afterparty together, and let's just say they looked pretty cozy. Not to mention, they also attended the annual BAFTA Tea Party in LA just the day before. Hmm . . .

While not much is known about Alison's love life, David was last linked to Julia Stiles in 2012. We guess only time will tell if these two are the real deal.

25 Tweets That Accurately Sum Up the Dramatic Season Premiere of America's Next Top Model

America's Next Top Model has returned for season 24, but this time the revival of the iconic reality show isn't messing around. Season 23 host Rita Ora has been replaced by the show's long-reigning queen Tyra Banks (we can't believe they ever even tried a season of ANTM without her, to be honest), and the contestants are more diverse than ever. There's a 42-year-old grandmother (yes, really), curvier girls, and - of course - a white Trump supporter solely on the show to stir up drama and ratings. Needless to say, Twitter had a lot to say about the premiere.

Kate Middleton Greets Some Very Excited Kids During Her First Public Engagement of 2018

Hot on the heels of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first royal engagement of 2018, Kate Middleton also stepped out for her first official outing of the year, a day after she celebrated her 36th birthday. Dressed in a chic navy double-breasted coat, the duchess, who is currently pregnant with her third child, visited the Reach Academy in Feltham, London. She was there on behalf of the children's mental health charity Place2Be, for which she's been a patron for a number of years.

Kate waved as she greeted pupils from the school before bending down to chat with some of the youngest children (and a very cute dog). She then headed inside where she participated in art activities with a group of children and listened to news on how the teachers and staff work closely with parents to ensure there's a close link between home and school.
