Everyone Is Talking About Cardi B's Super Bowl Ad, But We're Distracted by Gordon Ramsay

Do you ever look at your Amazon Echo and wish that Alexa had a bit more personality? Like, instead of calmly saying, "OK, now playing songs by The Weeknd from Spotify in the bedroom," perhaps she could exclaim: "OKURRRRR, girlfriend, I know what you're up to!" Well, that's a reality that Amazon's star-studded Super Bowl commercial wants you to imagine - if Alexa lost her voice and needed a little help from some famous friends. Between Cardi B, Rebel Wilson, Anthony Hopkins, and the ever-charming Gordon Ramsay, the range of potential Alexa personalities in the ad is downright hilarious.

Though the commercial isn't actually promising celebrity voices for your Echo, fans would definitely spring for a new device if it meant having their favorite stars as household assistants.

Except Anthony Hopkins, perhaps. Westworld and Silence of the Lambs taught people better than to trust his voice.

Press play above to watch the full commercial before it airs during the Super Bowl, then see how it compares to the other celebrity-packed commercial that's breaking the internet.

I mean, just look at them! They clearly make each other incredibly happy, and just listen to the way they talk about each other. Have you ever heard anything cuter? The First Trailer For Station 19 Has Sex, Drama, and . . . Meredith Grey?

Did you know that three blocks down from the hospital we know and love on Grey's Anatomy is a firehouse teeming with sexy, life-saving firefighters? Well, if you weren't aware of that already, you will be after watching the first trailer for Station 19, the Grey's spinoff.

Connecting the two shows is Dr. Ben Warren (Jason George), who decides to leave Grey Sloan Memorial to become a firefighter. Now, a few weeks after obsessing over some telling photos from the pilot, the trailer has given us an even better sense of what to expect. Rosewood's Jaina Lee Ortiz leads the diverse cast as Andy Herrera, a firefighter who steps up to lead her firehouse after the chief, her own father, suffers a serious injury on the job. The trailer teases a steamy romance (and potentially a love triangle involving Andy and her coworkers), a deadly rescue mission during a fire, and a cameo from Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) herself.

The 10-episode spinoff will have a special two-hour premiere on March 22 before moving to its regular slot on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET, starting March 29. In the meantime, watch the trailer above!

Ellen DeGeneres Was Moved to Tears by Wife Portia de Rossi's Profound Birthday Gift

Ellen DeGeneres recently celebrated her 60th birthday on the set of her widely beloved talk show. The star-studded episode featured appearances by Michelle Obama, Jimmy Kimmel, Chance the Rapper, and more. While the talk show host was touched by her guests' many kind words and gifts, the most emotional moment naturally came when her wife, Portia de Rossi, surprised her.

Portia appeared on the show to give Ellen her birthday gift and the second she turned the corner, Ellen was already emotional. "This gift had to be really special and it had to represent who you are and what you really care about - not just now but what you've always cared about," Portia said.

Portia then revealed a little-known fact about her wife: Ellen's longtime hero is Dian Fossey, a conservationist who specialized in gorilla research up until her tragic murder in 1985. In honor of Ellen's admiration of Dian, Portia established The Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund in Rwanda. The campus will serve as a center for tourism, education, and scientific research. In addition, Portia also set up The Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund.

Through tears, Ellen said, "It's the best gift." Adding, "When we got married, Portia's line was, 'It's good to be loved. It's profound to be understood.' She understands me because that is the best gift that anybody could have given me."

The Mysterious Details Surrounding Natalie Wood's Death Will Make You Angry 36 Years Later

Natalie Wood was one of the brightest Hollywood stars in the '70s. She solidified herself as a serious actress with appearances in movies like West Side Story and Rebel Without a Cause, but her life was tragically cut short when she mysteriously drowned while boating with her husband, Robert Wagner, at age 43 on Nov. 28, 1981. The couple had gone sailing for the weekend around Catalina Island on their 60-foot yacht, Splendour, with Natalie's Brainstorm costar Christopher Walken and captain Dennis Davern. Authorities found Natalie's body one mile south of the Splendour yacht, off an isolated cove called Blue Cavern Point. She was wearing a flannel nightgown, wool socks, and a down-filled jacket.

After an autopsy was conducted, authorities revealed that Natalie's arms had been covered in bruises, a scratch was found on her neck, and she had abrasions on her face. They also believed that all of those injuries had occurred prior to her drowning. Robert told the police that Natalie had gone to bed before him and he didn't notice she was missing until he went to their bedroom sometime after midnight and noticed she wasn't there. Because they found alcohol and two types of medication in her system, authorities ruled her cause of death as an "accidental drowning."

The case was later reopened in November 2011 after Dennis alleged that Robert was responsible for Natalie's death and revealed that he "made mistakes by not telling the honest truth in a police report." In an interview with the Today show, Dennis said that Robert and Natalie had gotten into a fight on the night of her death and that Robert and he had agreed on what they would tell police. Following multiple investigations, LA's chief medical examiner changed Natalie's cause of death to "drowning and other undetermined factors" nine months later. While Robert was never found guilty, he did admit that he and Natalie fought the night that she died in his 2008 memoir. "Nobody knows," he wrote. "There are only two possibilities; either she was trying to get away from the argument, or she was trying to tie the dinghy. But the bottom line is that nobody knows exactly what happened."

Christopher also spoke out about the case in November 2011, telling Playboy magazine, "What happened that night only she knows, because she was alone. She had gone to bed before us, and her room was at the back. A dinghy was bouncing against the side of the boat, and I think she went out to move it. There was a ski ramp that was partially in the water. It was slippery - I had walked on it myself. She had told me she couldn't swim. In fact, they had to cut a swimming scene from [Brainstorm]. She was probably half asleep, and she was wearing a coat."

Fast forward to present day, and police are now naming Robert a person of interest. "As we've investigated the case over the last six years, I think he's more of a person of interest now," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Lieutenant John Corina told 48 Hours correspondent Erin Moriarty in a new interview. "I mean, we know now that he was the last person to be with Natalie before she disappeared." Natalie left two daughters behind, Natasha and Courtney, whom she shared with Robert, and was buried on Dec. 2, 1981, at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery in LA.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Light Up London on Their Chic and Charitable Night Out

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a glamorous pair as they arrived at the Endeavour Fund Awards at Goldsmith's Hall in London on Thursday evening. Harry looked handsome in a blue suit, while Meghan stunned in a black pantsuit by Alexander McQueen and white blouse. The award ceremony is organized by The Endeavour Fund, which was set up in 2012 by Prince Harry and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge with the aim of supporting the recovery of wounded, injured, and sick servicemen and women, encouraging them to rediscover their self-belief through sport and adventure. The awards celebrate the achievements of people who have taken part in such endeavors in 2017.

Ahead of the ceremony, Harry and Meghan met some of the worthy nominees and also chatted to adventurer and author Levison Wood, a former serviceman himself, who was recently announced as the first ever ambassador of the fund. As always, the engaged couple looked relaxed and happy to be in each other's company, getting us even more excited for their upcoming wedding.

How the New Purge Movie Is Going in a Completely New Direction

In January, we beheld the trailer for The First Purge. Set up like an "inspiring" political video, the 30-second video talks about making our country great again with one "new" solution. It's enough to reel in (and creep out) pretty much any horror fan. Are you curious about what's in store when we return to this bleak, fractured world that's bubbling over with anarchy? We're breaking down the plot.

Luckily, Universal Pictures has already revealed a few choice details about the project. "Behind every tradition lies a revolution. Next Independence Day, witness the rise of our country's 12 hours of annual lawlessness," the synopsis reads. "Welcome to the movement that began as a simple experiment: The First Purge." At this point, it's clear that the fourth film is actually traveling back in time. We're getting a prequel! But before you assume we're seeing pretty much the same thing for the fourth time in a row, there's one ace in the hole that makes this a bit different. According to the plan for this first purge, it's just a small experiment in one city.

"To push the crime rate below one percent for the rest of the year, the New Founding Fathers of America (NFFA) test a sociological theory that vents aggression for one night in one isolated community," the short summary continues. "But when the violence of oppressors meets the rage of the marginalized, the contagion will explode from the trial-city borders and spread across the nation." When it comes to The First Purge, we're seeing, more or less, the first sparks of the revolution. And with the Trumpian undertones in the first teaser and poster, we're sure this will hit very close to home. Maybe a little too close.

The First Purge hits theaters on July 4.

If There Was an Award For Sexiest Celebrity BFFs, Tom Hardy and Leonardo DiCaprio Would Win

When it comes to celebrity bromances, none of them compare to Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy's friendship. The two first met on the set of their 2010 film Inception, and have been pals ever since. In addition to starring together in 2015's The Revenant, Leo and Tom always seem to have the best time together. Leo even gave his "brother Tom" a sweet shout-out in his 2016 Oscars speech, saying, "Tom, your fierce talent onscreen can only be surpassed by your friendship offscreen." As if that wasn't cute enough, Tom recently honored his friend by getting a tattoo that reads "Leo knows all" on his bicep after losing a bet. Now that's a true friend!

These Grey's Anatomy Quotes Have Me More Worried For Bailey Than Ever

The bomb dropped out of nowhere. After last week's harrowing Grey's Anatomy episode, which reunited April with her ex and touched on police brutality, we got a preview for the next new episode. Bailey's in the hospital, and she reveals she's having a heart attack. As an avid fan, it's hard not to go into high alert. Is Bailey on her way out? Is she going to die?! With the loss of so many core favorites over the years, we're just not sure our hearts can take more hurt.

Just ahead of the episode in question, star Chandra Wilson talked to Entertainment Weekly about Bailey's potential exit. "Let's say Bailey has been stressed," she said. "Is Bailey leaving? I think this is the right thing to say: Bailey's been stressed and needs to take care of herself." She needs to take care of herself?! As in, she's really unhealthy and her heart is about to murder her? Or as in, this is going to be a wake-up call for her? We need answers.

"What we really wanted to talk about in this episode, especially for women, is heart disease, how it manifests, how much of a killer of women it is, and how to be taken seriously when you walk into an emergency room situation so that you can be properly diagnosed and properly treated," Wilson explained. "That's the thing that was always at the forefront of each of the scenes that we went into, and the performance, as well as the conversations that Bailey was having with each of the characters."

Well, given the fact that the CDC says heart disease is the leading cause of death for women and is responsible for one in four female deaths, things are not looking good. Grey's Anatomy, are you about to kill off Bailey so we all wake up to the reality of this bleak Earth?! There's one other thing that has us worried: not only will the episode center around Bailey, but it will fill in her background in a way the show has never done before.

"There are things that get revealed in this episode about Bailey's upbringing, that make you understand the person that you've been seeing since the pilot," Wilson teased. "Where she's coming from, why she behaves the way she behaves, the kind of relationships that she has with her family, the kind of relationships she has with patients, the driven, professional woman that she is - you get a glimpse of where the seed of her comes from."

I don't know about you, but it sure sounds like this kind of character homage would be part of a very appropriate send-off. I swear, if I have to watch this incredible woman die with my own two eyes, I will be very upset.

It's Illegal to Cross America's Second Tallest Bridge For Good Reason (but People Still Do)

Almost 350 feet above the Skokomish River stands the Vance Creek Bridge, the second tallest trestle bridge in the country. There are no guard rails and no safety nets, and the decaying wood of the structure isn't exactly reassuring. Still, the views from the stunning bridge have made it a popular destination for adventurers and Instagrammers alike, and looking at the images, it's easy to see why.

Less than a two-hour drive from Seattle and situated along the Vance Creek Viaduct Trail, the Vance Creek Railway Bridge - which was built in 1929 - spans 422 feet across. It was built originally so trains and timber companies could access Washington's forests but fell into disuse in the 1970s. Though it's on private property - and potentially dangerous considering its age and state of disrepair - hikers flock to the man-made wonder to marvel at both the bridge and the incredible views from it. On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Rainier if you're brave enough to make it to the center.

While undoubtedly breathtaking, it may be better to view the bridge from afar to ensure your safety, and also because in the past, tickets have been given for trespassing.

Everyone Can Fly First Class in Their Lifetime: Here's How

If you're flying to a different country, first class is the way to go. Fold-flat seats, top-shelf cocktails, chef-curated fare, and other luxuries await. Rather than arriving sleep-deprived and a little disheveled, your international vacation begins rested, fed, and ready to tackle the sights.

But let's cut to the chase - first-class tickets are also incredibly expensive. We're talking typical fares ranging anywhere from $3,000 up to $10,000+ for a round-trip flight. So unless you're a celebrity or international businessperson, you might think seat 1A is simply out of reach. But fear not! Luckily, it is possible to snag a first-class seat without burning thousands of dollars. With some help from travel experts, here are our tips for securing a first-class travel experience without maxing out your credit card. Another glass of Champagne, please?

  1. Miles, miles, miles. Save them! You can find excellent deals on first-class seats with miles. Even if you're not an avid traveler, it is possible to rack up enough miles over time. Remember that with most airlines, your miles will expire if there isn't any account activity in a predetermined amount of time. If you fly at least once or twice a year, you'll be good to go. To avoid the risk all together, consider an airline without a mileage expiration date (like Delta).
  2. Get carded. Consider a travel credit card with a generous sign-up bonus. Saving 120,000 miles for a round-trip first-class ticket to Europe might sound steep if you don't fly a lot, but when you get half of them simply by signing up, it feels much more attainable.
  3. Hunt for special offers. Most credit cards will run temporary promotions that double (or more) the standard sign-up bonus. And don't limit your search to only airline credit cards. Many cards have partnerships with airlines and will allow you to transfer your points into miles. Some even offer airport lounge access - totally worth it if you're a frequent flier.
  4. Can I charge that? Amie O'Shaughnessy, founder and CEO of Ciao Bambino, reminds travelers that unexpected things can be charged. "Choose the card that has the most airline relationships and at least offers one-to-one conversions for points to miles, and charge everything on it. Property tax, DMV fee, doctors, home and personal service providers - everyone takes cards these days, so take advantage of that. Miles can accumulate fast."
  5. Make a transfer. Check to see if your current credit card allows you transfer points into miles. Clem Bason, CEO of goSeek.com and the former president of Hotwire, advises researching the transfer policies first, as it's favorable for some airlines and less so for others.
  6. Get creative with Google Flights. Rob Harper of Costa Rican Vacations suggests opening up your search to find the best deal. "Rather than selecting an arrival city, search best price on business/first class by selecting the region. For example, if you're heading to Spain, rather than searching for business class flights to Madrid or Barcelona, use the "Search Europe" feature to see if you can simply get to the continent on a cheaper first-class rate. Then, you can just take a 'puddle jumper' to your primary destination."
  7. Keep your eye on the deals. Bason recommends regularly checking for sales year round. "The big international airlines typically have [sales] once or twice a year. American and British Airways are famous for it. When those airlines launch the fare sale, use Google Flights to scan travel dates to find the best prices."
  8. Go through a travel agent. Alex Dalton of Travel With Alex, Inc. advises, "Look for an agency that has a preferred relationship with a consolidator that does international first-class travel. They have access to deals that can blow away published fares. The consolidator won't work with the public, so you have to use a travel agent to get those deals."
  9. Go cruising. If you're planning on setting sail once you arrive at your destination, ask the cruise line if they can offer any special rates on first-class airfare. Dalton adds, "The cruise lines strike deals with airlines to get reduced business and first-class tickets to sell to their clients that sail with them."
  10. When all else fails, just ask! Mery Calderon of Kuoda Travel encourages travelers to remember the power of a smile. "If you're a frequent flyer on a particular airline, but don't have top status, try your luck at asking! Show up early, look presentable, and request a complimentary upgrade. A sunny attitude and little luck can go a long way (and yes, it does happen!)."

These 23 Secrets From a Former Disney World Employee Will Make Your Jaw Hit the Floor

Is Disney really all it's cracked up to be? Believe it or not, you'll be hard-pressed to find many former or current employees who don't have good things to say - for the most part. Either there's something in the water, or the company truly is great at what it does (we'll go with the latter). A former Walt Disney World employee did an AMA on Reddit that answered some pretty interesting questions - from people having sex in the parks to what really goes on behind the scenes. Spoiler alert: Disney World might actually be the Most Magical Place on Earth.

1. How many people approximately does Disney employ in Florida?

"On average, 75,000."

2. How seriously do they take costume and characters staying on?

"As a character performer, you could get fired for breaking character on stage."

3. Do those who are in the Mickey Mouse costumes and etc learn how to write their autographs as identical as possible?

"Yes, that's a requirement."

4. You get free tickets?

"I had a 'Self Admission Pass' that could get me into the parks for free whenever I wanted. I also earned three guest passes for every 150 hours I worked."

5. How do the character actors cope in the big suits when it is completely normal for the temperature to be pushing 100 degrees?

"If they're outside, They run on a 30 minutes on/30 minutes off schedule. If it's higher than 90 degrees outside, they're only in the costume for 20 minutes at a time."

6. I've had sex at Disneyland as a guest, and expect it would be easier for an employee. As a cast member, how many escapades were you able to get away with?

"The attractions all have cameras on them, so I assure you, some cast member saw everything you did. I actually never had sex in the parks, but I've heard some hilarious stories."

7. Do you miss working there? What's one of your more memorable moments (good or bad)?

"I miss it very much. I had a lot of memorable moments, but if I could pick a favorite, it would be a few nights before I left. I went to see Illuminations with all of my (attractions) coworkers from EPCOT. Our leader let us up onto one of the balconies in Italy to watch, which is a spot that not even guests get to go. I had become really close friends with these people."

8. Is Vista Way still called Vista Lay?

"Yes."

9. How aggressively do they update rides/walkways? Like from large scale rides to small details inside the park.

"It depends on what you mean by 'update'. The attractions have repairs/renovations done to them at least once a year. Every attraction has an opening checklist to be completed every morning, and a closing checklist to be completed every night. The items on any checklist usually relate to safety and show (everything should look the way it's supposed to). If even one of the items on the opening checklist doesn't pass, the attraction won't open until it's fixed."

10. Are there any stereotypes of people that play certain roles?

"I've met a lot of really sweet Rapunzels. Elsa is stuck up. Anna is also a sweetheart. Ariel is a mix. Tinker Bell is also really sweet. Oh and Tiana is always sarcastic and the very few Elena's that I met were such sweethearts and very friendly."

11. If you had a season pass and were forced to spend a year there, how would you plan out your stay as a guest/prisoner at Disney World?

"This would be the coolest thing ever because that means I could spend an entire year in Disney World and do whatever I want without consequences. I'd mess with people so much. Like I'd switch all the dolls in Small World around to all the wrong countries. I'd try to trick character performers into wearing mismatched costumes. I'd figure out how the interactive attractions work (Turtle Talk with Crush, Monsters Inc Laugh Floor) and use those to prank people. Stuff like that. As far as where I live, I'd probably figure out how to set up a permanent camp somewhere in Disney's Animal Kingdom, since that's the most I would be able to afford."

12. How accurate is Swoozie's diaries of an ex-Disney employee stories on YouTube?

"Mostly accurate. Keep in mind, he's a storyteller, so a lot of what he says is exaggerated since it makes for a better story."

13. Have you ever seen someone do anything terrible to the food that worked there?

"I never did, actually. Disney is very strict about food safety. Coordinators/leaders are watching the kitchen at all times, and there are cameras everywhere. I once got in trouble for eating a single french fry in front of people."

14. Did you serve alcohol there? Follow up, any funny stories of drunk parents and their embarrassed kids?

"Duh. Actually, I worked in EPCOT, which most Disney cast members have nicknamed 'the drunk park'. EPCOT houses the world showcase (alcohol from every corner of the world, pretty much), and hosts the annual International Food & Wine Festival. I had to deal with drunk guests on a daily basis, and I have two pretty funny stories pertaining to drunk guests:

1. I worked at a restaurant called the Electric Umbrella in EPCOT. One day, I was working at the counter, and a middle-aged man came up and bought a can of Bud Light. I opened one and handed it too him, and he chugged the entire thing in front of me, then handed it back and asked me to throw it out. A few minutes later, he came back and did the same thing. This happened two more times, then about 30 minutes later, I looked across the restaurant and saw his wife (I assume) yelling at him in front of their kids.

2. An extremely inebriated guest was trying to find Test Track. I spent 15 minutes (I counted) trying to explain to him that the ride he was looking for was right behind him."

15. What was the work culture there like? Any difference between lower-level and higher-level employees in attitude?

"I'm speaking from my own personal experience here, since every role is going to have a different feel to it. Most of the people that I worked with were super into their job. Disney trains us to treat everything as if it were one big show, so we just tried to make it fun. Everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy being at work.

There were a ton of strictly enforced rules and guidelines we had to follow, concerning everything from how you dress to how you have to act when you're 'on stage' (on stage means anywhere that you can be seen by guests). The leaders and coordinators usually had more of a stick up their rear end about these kinds of things, but I never had many problems with them. Part-time and full-time employees have a tendency to look down on/be condescending towards interns, but that doesn't always happen."

16. My sister worked for the Mouse and was treated horribly, especially when it came to housing where she was living with four people in a two-bedroom apartment, how was your experience?

"I had an amazing experience. Everyone seems to have a different experience when they come to work for Disney. It all depends on your perspective I guess. My experience with housing was pretty great, and I'm actually still friends with most of my roommates. I lived in two different apartment during my time there: the first was a one-bedroom three-person in Chatham Square, the next was also a one-bedroom three-person in Patterson Court."

17. Did you save any money while working at Disney? I've heard that they don't let you eat outside food, make you live in certain places, etc. so that in the end you don't really make any money.

"Those rumors are pretty exaggerated. Disney does offer housing to their interns, but they give you the option to live off-site. You can eat wherever you want. The last part is true though. By the end of my internship I broke even with my money."

18. If a person in a costume suffers a heart attack, stroke, etc. in the park, are they just dragged off somewhere?

"Disney has plans in place for situations like that. I'm not allowed to say what they are, but they do have policies in place."

19. So you aren't an ex-employee, then? Barring a lifetime NDA, pretty sure you're allowed to talk about them now that you've left.

"I am, but I don't want to jeopardize my chance of working for them again in the future. Disney keeps tabs on people that used to work for them, almost like a creepy ex-boyfriend/girlfriend."

20. Have you ever seen/interacted with someone famous or prestigious at the park?

"Neil Patrick Harris and Chris Evans. I found out that I'm a few inches taller than Chris, which made me feel really good. Like, I can tell people I'm taller than Captain America."

21. Do they really have underground tunnels for employees?

"Yes, but only at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. They're called the 'Utilidor' because Disney loves making new words for things."

22. Did your dreams come true?

"Yes, all of them. Even the weird ones."

23. Was it the happiest place on earth?

"Yes."

The US Orders Extra Screenings on Flights From 5 Middle Eastern Countries

Last year, flights from the Middle East headed to the US were subject to extra security measures. More in-depth screenings and even a laptop ban (which has since been reversed) meant longer lines at airports, and though it seemed that advanced security was coming to a halt, an emergency order from the US issued on Jan. 22 points in a different direction.

According to the emergency order, additional cargo screenings will be required on flights from the UAE, Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar to the US. Issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), the order is a response to "persistent threats to aviation."

In an official statement, TSA said that the five countries "demonstrated intent by terrorists groups to attack aviation from them." TSA even cited a number of airlines: EgyptAir, Royal Jordanian, Saudia, Qatar Airways, Emirates, and Etihad.

"TSA looks at threats emanating from each country uniquely, and cannot provide specific information about those threats, but after analyzing evaluated intelligence, we determined that we needed to expand the (air cargo advance screening) program within each of them at this time," the emergency order stated.

WTF Is a Salt Room, and How Can It Help Your Anxiety?

It started with a way to relieve stress and heal the body and mind - salt soaks, saltwater from the ocean, and then the rising popularity of Himalayan salt lamps. My sister, who apparently thinks I'm so stressed all the time (I'm not, I just have an intense personality), actually bought me three salt lamps for Christmas two years in a row. But it seems that during the last year or so, the existence of salt caves and grottos have been popping up as attractions or even in spas as ways to heal and recharge.

Himalayan Salt, which these caves/rooms are made from, is a natural anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral, antifungal, and antimicrobial, which can have appeal to those looking for natural remedies. Halotherapy, or salt therapy, has been around for years (there is one location in Poland that dates back to the 12th century!) as a way to open the nasal passageways. The therapy now has the added benefit of relaxation, and it has been making its way into mainstream wellness treatments during the past few years.

"Halotherapy is about balancing and healing ourselves on a molecular level," Christina Hammarberg, CEO of Channeled Messages by Christina, a company that focuses on intuitive therapy and energy therapy, told POPSUGAR during a phone interview. "Salt, which is a crystal, is known for its cleansing and healing properties because it naturally releases negative ions into the environment. To keep your body, mind, and aura in balance, it's important to regularly counteract those positive ions with negative ones. Spending time outside is a great way to do that, but for most of that, it's not possible. That's what makes salt lamps, salt soaks, and salt immersion so beneficial," she explained.

The experience at a salt immersion venue is not always the same. At some venues, such as the Montauk Salt Cave in Montauk, NY, visitors are placed into a zero-gravity chair or may opt to sit directly on the salt floor. At spas around the country, rooms are built with salt-based floor, walls, and seating areas. In all of these venues, however, there are no electronics allowed and no talking allowed. Many play soothing music to inspire meditation, deep breathing exercises, or even sleeping.

Becky Martino, director of marketing and sales at Las Vegas, NV-based Canyon Ranch SpaClub at The Venetian Las Vegas, told POPSUGAR in an email that the salt grotto at the spa has been growing in popularity because guests are looking for holistic or organic ways to promote healing and relaxation, while going back to the basics and back to nature.

"More people are seeking out salt rooms in an effort to holistically rejuvenate and seek ways to relieve the body of stress-induced ailments, to relieve respiratory conditions, clear skin, and boost immunity," she said.

According to Martino, salt rooms, grottos, and caves can promote a healthy blood sugar level; relieve anxiety and stress; help battle insomnia; help improve digestion and relieve acid reflux; and boost bone strength.

If you're intrigued, Martino suggests scheduling between 25 and 45 minutes for your time in a salt room. This will give you enough time to relax and will have the maximum effect on your system. In addition, leaving your electronics safely locked up and giving yourself the time to meditate, think, or even sleep will also make the experience more enjoyable. Martino also suggests enjoying a salt room made from 100 percent pure Himalayan crystal salt, which is considered the purest and most beneficial salt ever discovered on earth, containing 84 naturally occurring minerals and salts.

"Salt therapy has been known to help regulate brain function resulting in a calmer state of relaxation, encourage deeper sleep, decrease blood pressure, and boost immunity. Resonating at the Earth's frequency, Himalayan salt balances and neutralizes the ill effects of the toxic frequencies we live with every day," she said.

However, while salt rooms can help ease certain conditions, it is not a replacement for regular medical treatment, said Daniel La, M.D., physician at Plainview, NY-based Prohealth.

"Salt therapy may help with relaxation or may help to relieve stress, but it shouldn't be used in place of proper medical attention," he said, noting that conditions may worsen if gone untreated by a licensed physician.

Anyone Else Notice Kate Middleton's Dress Color of Choice on the Royal Tour?

After two fashion-filled days in Sweden, Kate Middleton has touched down in snowy Norway. For the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge chose a beautiful Séraphine lace dress ($224) in her favorite color, which she paired with a pair of Tod's Suede block heel pumps and a Catherine Walker coat.

Between her more casual outfits and gorgeous evening gowns, it seems that Kate and her stylist have been having a lot of fun lately. While the duchess has been sticking to her favorite maternity brands, she's also been trying shorter silhouettes and more daring patterns, giving moms-to-be plenty of inspiration. Read on to get another look at her outfit, then shop similar versions of her sold-out dress.

Paris Hilton Casually Impersonates Kim Kardashian in the New Yeezy Campaign, Because Why Not?

After Kim Kardashian and Kanye West released Yeezy season six images via Kim's Instagram in December 2017, the duo teamed up for another drop of pics, which were posted right before the official collection launch. This series, however, involves everyone from Paris Hilton (Kim's former boss) to Sarah Snyder (Jaden Smith's ex and model) impersonating Kim in the exact same poses.

Of course, everyone's got their tight spandex on in shades of camel and gray, and they're stepping out of cars or skirting the paparazzi with dad sneakers and seemingly dangerous heels on display. Whether Kanye is actually trying to show off his new clothes or offering a message to us all (IDK maybe, "my wife is a goddess and you shall all bow down to her style"?), we can't know for sure. But it's probably a little bit of both. Read on to see the shoot that everybody's talking about.

Kate Upton's #MeToo Tweet Alludes to Sexual Misconduct by Guess Cofounder Paul Marciano

Kate Upton, along with notable models like Hailey Baldwin and Gigi Hadid, has starred in Guess campaigns. Jennifer Lopez was just crowned the oldest Guess Girl ever (she's the face of the brand's Spring '18 campaign). But now, Kate is speaking out against Paul Marciano, a cofounder of the company. On Jan. 31, Kate wrote on Twitter, "It's disappointing that such an iconic women's brand @GUESS is still empowering Paul Marciano as their creative director #metoo."

The hashtag #MeToo started after the Harvey Weinstein scandal as a way for women to share their own stories of being sexually harassed in order to highlight the magnitude of the problem. Though Kate doesn't specify what, or if, Paul did anything to her personally or to other models, she did reshare the same message on her Instagram account. We have reached out to Guess for a comment on the controversy.

Someone Put Kate Middleton in a Disney Movie Right Now, Her Cape Dress Is So Freakin' Regal

Hopefully you're not tired of combing through Kate Middleton's Sweden and Norway tour outfits yet, because we have another stunner. The Duchess of Cambridge concluded her first day in Norway, with Prince William at her side, by attending a dinner at the Royal Palace in Oslo.

For a formal attire, Kate turned to fashion house favorite Alexander McQueen. She wore a pale pink gown with a crystal embellished, sheer cape that draped to the ground, but it was her jewels that stole the show. The glittery design around her neckline matched the shimmer from her accessories. The royal wore a pair of the queen's sparkling pendant earrings along with the queen's bracelet, which was a wedding gift from Prince Philip.

To make the bracelet even more swoon-worthy, it was encrusted with diamonds from a tiara, which belonged to Philip's mother. Between the dreamy dress and the precious diamonds, it was hard to tell what we loved the most about Kate's look! Read on for a glimpse of Kate's fancy ensemble, then shop similar gowns.

Kate Middleton Had a Beautiful Tweed Dress Hiding Underneath Her Coat

For day two of the royal tour of Sweden and Norway, Kate Middleton made a public appearance in a red and white Catherine Walker coat. The royal waved to the crowd before meeting with academics to discuss Sweden's approach to managing mental health. Once inside, Kate slipped off her outerwear to reveal a luxe tweed dress. The mini came from Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall '17 collection and was made of a metallic wool blend. Gold yarn was woven to create a rich texture, which echoed the iconic tweed designs from Chanel (funnily enough, Kate was carrying her Chanel bag).

The dress did hit above Kate's knees, but it felt modest thanks to long sleeves. Kate finished off her look with her quilted purse, In2Design pearl earrings, and Tod's fringe pumps that she's worn before. If anyone needs a style lesson on how to dress modestly but still look fashion forward, Kate's here to provide the perfect example. Read on to see her entire outfit, then shop similar tweed pieces for your own closet.

Angelina Jolie Is Wearing the 1 Off-the-Shoulder Work Dress You Can Get Away With

During her trip to Paris, Angelina Jolie found time to take her children to the Louvre, meet with French First Lady Brigitte Macron, equipped with a sophisticated Louis Vuitton bag, and step out for some shopping. Afterward, the actress and Special Envoy for the United Nations hightailed it to Brussels, where she addressed a press conference at NATO headquarters. Can you say "boss lady"?

For the latter occasion, Angelina wore a dress so fitting with her signature style, we figured it was custom. Her black sheath boasted an off-the-shoulder neckline that was completely appropriate for a work event. The hemline fell below her knees, and the design featured three-quarter sleeves. Angelina completed her look with simple pumps, subtle jewels, and, on her way in, a roomy cloak and Fendi bag. Ahead, catch a glimpse of Angelina's smart attire for a day on the job, then shop very similar pieces that we found.

Your Eyes Might Not Be Ready to Check Out Jennifer Lopez's Dress - It's That Fabulous

Jennifer Lopez made history as the oldest Guess Girl ever at 48. She's the face of the brand's Spring '18 campaign, and a party was held in her honor on Jan. 31. (Guess is currently under fire over sexual misconduct allegations against cofounder Paul Marciano.) The star, along with her beau, Alex Rodriguez, aka ARod, attended the special event and was dressed to impress.

Jennifer walked the red carpet in a body-hugging blue dress with a corset-like structure that gave the look a sexy vibe. She draped herself in a luxurious furry coat, and to top it off, she accessorized with a variety of rings, a diamond necklace, and Christian Louboutin heels. Jennifer resembled a modern-day Cinderella, and it'll be hard to argue with that when you see her entire ensemble ahead. Then, if you're feeling inspired, shop similar dresses equipped with a corset-style bustier.

In another interesting turn of events, Meghan wasn't the only one wearing McQueen on this particular evening, as Kate Middleton was spotted in an ethereal white gown by the designer as well - albeit on her royal tour in Oslo.
