What on Earth Is in Starbucks's Crystal Ball Frappuccino? We Have Your Answer

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past week, you're likely well aware that Starbucks is releasing a Crystal Ball Frappuccino that's sure to go just as viral as that Unicorn Frapp did last year. As soon as the news of this limited-edition beverage leaked, the entire internet collectively freaked out as baristas graciously teased the world with plenty of sneak peeks.

So, what's this mystical, Instagram-worthy drink made of? We touched base with a Starbucks representative to get the lowdown, and they described it as "a crème-based Frappuccino infused with peach flavor and turquoise sparkles that create an enchanting marbling effect." Oh, and it's topped with peach-flavored whipped cream, too. It looks like Starbucks is super excited about peach-growing season, and we're totally not opposed. This sugary concoction sounds effing delicious, and it looks like baristas agree that the taste is out of this world.

Besides the marbled look of the beverage itself, perhaps the most magical aspect of this frozen treat is the colorful candy "gems" sprinkled on top of the whipped cream. The Starbucks rep told us how every customer's Frapp will either be topped with blue, green, or purple candy bits, and each color signifies a different fortune. The blue gems mean you're "destined for adventure," while the green ones are a sign of good luck. And the purple candy gems? Those denote that "magic, wonder, and enchantment are headed your way." The baristas decide what color of candy sparkles you'll get, so your fate is up to them. *Cue dramatic music*

Starbucks's Crystal Ball Frappuccino is here for a good time, not a long time, as it will only be available from March 22 to March 26 while supplies last. Get ready for some long lines, fellow Frapp addicts, because this one's sure to be pretty darn popular.

Here's How to Convert Slow-Cooker Recipes to Your Instant Pot

Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Anna Monette Roberts

The Instant Pot and the slow cooker may look alike, but they function a lot differently. The name of each appliance says it all - slow-cooked food takes hours, while the Instant Pot knocks it out quickly. So when you're converting a slow-cooker recipe to an Instant Pot, there are a few things to consider. Keep these conversions in mind the next time you whip out your Instant Pot for a quick and easy dinner.

1. Lower the Meat-Cooking Time

One of the best things about the Instant Pot is its ability to cook meat insanely fast - even when frozen. If you're converting meat from a slow cooker to an Instant Pot, follow this rule: if the meat dish cooks in eight hours on low or four hours on high in the slow cooker, it will cook in 25-30 minutes in the Instant Pot. Make sure the Instant Pot setting reads "sealing" and not "venting" to ensure it's cooked properly. The "meat/stew" button is great for red meat recipes like bolognese, and the "poultry" button can be used for chicken dishes like garlic chicken soup. If you're cooking meat from frozen in an Instant Pot, just add five or 10 more minutes to the total cook time until it's done.

2. Add More Liquid

Instant Pots need more liquid to function properly, so if your recipe doesn't already call for at least a cup of liquid (such as broth or water), add it.

3. Skip Certain Ingredients

A pressure cooker or Instant Pot won't handle certain ingredients the same way a slow cooker would. If you're making an Instant Pot meal with milk or dairy, don't add it in the beginning. It can be stirred in or simmered at the end, but it won't cook successfully under pressure. If you're using a thickener, such as a cornstarch slurry, whisk it in at the end as well.

If you have even more specific questions about your recipe, follow this complete guide to converting slow-cooker recipes to an Instant Pot.

The Internet Is Spiraling Out of Control Over This Ravioli and Uncrustables Debate

A ravioli is a classic Italian stuffed pasta made by filling two sheets of pasta with cheese or meat, and an Uncrustable is a frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the crust, often eaten by children. These are two very different foods, but believe it or not, the internet is debating if they are one in the same, and I and my great-great grandmother from Parma, Italy, (RIP) are heated.

It appears this all started when someone was perusing the Wikipedia page for a sealed crustless sandwich (you OK?) and discovered its "type" is categorized as "ravioli (debated)." The original Tumblr post got people talking, and the highly controversial debate has made its way to Twitter, and let's just say things are getting ugly. Sane pasta-lovers of the world are agreeing that calling Uncrustables ravioli is an abomination, while others are going so far as to say that even Pop-Tarts technically count as ravioli, to which I say, excuse me?

These tweets are proof that the ravioli debate has gotten out of control. Take a look at the insanity below, and then choose a side in our very important poll. Meanwhile, I'll be enjoying actual ravioli recipes - the ones that go great with parmesan cheese, as all ravioli should, with the exception of dessert ravioli . . . but that's a story for another time.

How I Turned My Ikea Couch Into a $10,000 Designer Sofa

I don't believe you grow out of Ikea past the age of 25. I love the Swedish brand's minimalist aesthetic. And since I like to mix things up, the price point works for a design commitment-phobe like me. Despite my Ikea love, after three years, my Karlstad sofa started to look a bit sad. Since the low-profile sofa fit perfectly in my open living room, I decided to give it a designer-couch makeover instead of replacing it.

This Raleigh Sectional from Design Within Reach (pictured above) served as my inspiration. The walnut frame matched the midcentury vibe I strive for, and the light fabric color would add to the airy look in my bright living space. That sofa retails for as much as $10,000. I knew I could DIY the look for less. Read on for how I did it.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Peanut Butter Is Now a Thing - Plus 2 Other Cereal Flavors!

When it comes to a quick breakfast, I have two standards: peanut butter on toast or cereal with milk. But now, thanks to some absolutely glorious news, that's all about to change! On this, the most glorious day of my breakfast-loving life, I discovered that there is peanut butter out there that's inspired by all of my favorite cereals, from Cinnamon Toast Crunch to Fruity Pebbles. According to Instagram snack blogger Junk Banter, The Peanut Principle's three cereal-infused flavors of peanut butter contain actual bits of popular breakfast cereals.

Available for $8 each, the three Cereously Good Peanut Butter flavors include Cocoa Puffed Rice, Fruity Crisps, and Cinnamon Crisps cereals. Per Junk Banter's taste test, the Fruity Crisps flavor is surprisingly delicious, Cinnamon Crisps is (predictably) awesome, and the Cocoa Puffed Rice leaves something to be desired . . . but, of course, we want to judge it for ourselves! Check out the photos of each flavor, and buy your own cereal peanut butter below.

Tyler Florence's Hack Will Forever Change the Way You Make Mashed Potatoes

Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Nicole Perry

Food Network chef Tyler Florence shared his mashed potatoes recipe with us, and I immediately had to try it. Traditionally, potatoes are cooked in water before being mashed together with butter and cream (or milk). However, Tyler suggests cooking the potatoes in the cream itself, so no potato-y flavor is lost. He explains, "Potatoes have a really delicate, beautiful minerality to their flavor profile, and when you cook potatoes in water and you pour that water down the drain, you've extracted all the flavor of the potato. So what I do with mashed potatoes - because you finish them with cream and butter anyway, right? - is I'll take that same cream and butter and add that to the potatoes and cook the potatoes in cream and butter." Would that actually work? Would it actually taste good? I had to find out.

Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Anna Monette Roberts

As Tyler instructed, I added "cold, peeled, chopped potatoes, cream, butter, and olive oil" to a pan. He also told us, "I like garlic. I like sage and rosemary flavor combinations, and a little bit of thyme." To my pot of 3 pounds of potatoes, I added enough half and half to just barely cover the potatoes. Frankly, I was scared about using straight cream, which is why I deviated slightly from his instruction. I then added about 3 tablespoons of salted butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. I added a few cloves of peeled garlic and half a bunch each of sage, rosemary, and thyme. I also included a significant amount of salt (at least a teaspoon) so the potatoes could absorb some of the flavor while cooking. I covered the pot and allowed it to simmer on medium until the potatoes became fork tender, about 20 minutes. The aroma in my kitchen was unbelievable.

Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Anna Monette Roberts

Here's what Tyler told us to do next: "When the potatoes are tender, I put a bowl on the counter and a colander inside that bowl. I pour the potatoes through the colander, and the cream will collect on the bottom. Then I'll put the potatoes back into the pot and take the potato-infused garlic cream and fold that back into the potatoes, and it's the most incredible flavor profile. It's the best mashed potato you'll ever taste in your entire life." And so, I did just that. I drained the potatoes, collecting the rich liquid while discarding the herb stems. I then mashed the potatoes, adding back in the liquid until I created velvety smooth mashed potatoes with little specks of garlic and herbs. I salted and peppered to taste and served up with my lemon-garlic-parsley roast turkey and gravy. These mashed potatoes are pure heaven. I can now agree with Tyler's affirmation; they really are the best mashed potatoes I've ever tasted in my entire life. And even though I was scared it would be a huge flop, I'm never going back to any other method again.

The $80 Area Rug That Made Me Forget I Hate My Ugly Brown Carpet

I live in a rent-controlled apartment in San Francisco, which is basically the equivalent of winning the lottery, and while I want to say I'm lucky for finding the unit, sometimes my carpet makes me think otherwise. My landlord hasn't updated a single fixture or appliance since, like, the '90s (even the fridge), and the apartment is covered in dirty brown carpet that has become so matted throughout the years that I wouldn't dare walk on it without socks or slippers. In addition, all of my walls are a very nonappealing dark beige that hurts to look at. It's worth it because the rent is cheap.

This year, I've been on a mission to debrown my space and make it feel cleaner by investing in a some new pieces. I purchased some cool wall art and covered my also brown sofa in fluffy blankets, but the one thing I spent forever looking for was the perfect area rug.

I searched numerous places both in person and online. I felt like all the colors and patterns I saw would make my space look even darker or more cluttered. I always caught myself eyeing white rugs, but thought, "No, that's crazy - I can't have a white rug".

Once day while browsing on Amazon, I came across this ivory Safavieh California Shag ($81) and it caught my eye. I decided to give it a try because it was affordable and I knew I could return it if I had to.

After getting it delivered to my front door within just a few days, I was instantly impressed by the quality. It's thick, fluffy, soft, and, most importantly, bright. Within seconds, my living room felt like a whole new space. The light from my bay windows reflected perfectly onto the fuzzy surface to create a fresh new feel.

The upkeep has been much easier than I thought, too. I have a shoe-free home, which helps keeps dirt at bay, and the rug's material is easy to vacuum. The real seller is the price tag because at the end of the day, if it gets ruined, I know it didn't cost me a fortune.

The Best Decor Shops For 20-Somethings

Take it from me, being in your 20s and decor shopping for a new home is downright hard. We millennials are always on the hunt for the coolest, most unique pieces of furniture, but we don't want to shell out a bunch of money for those pieces.

How do you get your home to look magazine-chic without appearing too stuffy or, well, too grown-up? The truth of the matter is that you just have to invest in some quality pieces, but there's lots of playful stuff out there you can get for affordable prices as well. We have discovered all of the great decor stores for 30-somethings, but there are plenty of great sites for 20-somethings, too. Whether you're looking for pieces that will last a lifetime or fun items that fulfill your trend-hunting addiction, we've got all of the stores covered.

Starbucks Fans Have Some, Um . . . FEELINGS About the Crystal Ball Frappuccino

Gather round, children, for a tale about the days of old. And by "old," I mean wayyyyy back in 2017 when Starbucks introduced a little thing called the Unicorn Frappuccino. The blue and pink drink quickly took over the cultural conversation, compelling people to visit the coffee chain in droves for a taste of its fantasy-creature-inspired flavor - which was, weirdly, quite sour - and of course, trendy Instagram photos. And now, Starbucks is introducing a new drink with similar potential to captivate the brand's loyal customers: the Crystal Ball Frappuccino, which hits participating locations on March 22.

But memories of the long lines and general Instagram-fueled chaos of the Unicorn Frappuccino are inspiring reactions across the board. From those who are scared to enter a Starbucks for the period when the Crystal Ball concoction will be available to those curious folks who'll be first in line, Starbucks fans have all sorts of feelings about the limited-time drink! Read some of the funniest reactions from fans and baristas, then read about what the Crystal Ball Frappuccino looks and tastes like.

Some Disney Fans Are So Obsessed With This Popcorn Bucket, They Use It as a Purse

When you close your eyes and imagine Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you probably envision the sound of laughter, the sweet smell of churros or chocolate, and colorful clusters of Disney's iconic Mickey Mouse balloons. These balloons are almost as vital to the Disneyland skyline as Sleeping Beauty's castle, so it makes sense that Disney would find a way to transform them into a more permanent piece of memorabilia for park guests. During Disneyland's 24-hour 60th anniversary celebration in 2015, balloon-shaped collectible popcorn buckets were sold to lucky attendees . . . but now, they're back for the general public and better than ever!

Disney fanatics aren't walking - they're sprinting to buy their own Mickey balloon popcorn buckets at both Disneyland and WDW's Magic Kingdom. There is a regular option, which is a plastic balloon-shaped bucket with a matching handle, and there's also a special yellow version with a blue cross-body strap. The latter is extra popular, with Disney fans even joking that they'll use it as a purse after eating the popcorn!

You can find your own at various stands throughout both parks, priced at $15 each. And if you're confused about how to actually eat the popcorn inside, don't worry; there's a small door on the back of Mickey's balloon head where you can access your snack. Check out these photos of the bucket and you'll see why everybody's rushing to get one for themselves!

13 Top Tips For Traveling on Public Transport in London

Planning a trip to London? Don't get caught out spending too much on transport, or using the wrong routes. These tips will ensure you ride the tube (and the bus, and the train) like a Londoner.

Contactless Is Cheapest

Unless you're staying for a month or more, the cheapest and most convenient way to pay for travel is to use a Contactless card, like your debit or credit card. Just tap it on the yellow readers found on tube barriers, train and tram platforms, and buses. Travel will be capped to the same as a daily and weekly (Mon-Sun) travelcard for the zones you travel through. An Oyster card (a special card from Transport for London that you can top up with cash or load with a travelcard) is only capped daily at the moment, so it can work out more expensive over a week. However, if you're traveling from abroad it may be a worthwhile investment to avoid any foreign transaction fees on your debit or credit card. You can buy one from any station, for a refundable deposit around $6.

Don't Pay For More Zones Than You Need

If you're buying a travelcard, don't be fooled into spending a fortune on a zone 1-6 card "just in case". Unless you're planning to visit somewhere like Hampton Court Palace, it's highly unlikely you'll ever leave zones 1 and 2. Tourist favorites like Hampstead Heath, Notting Hill and Portobello, and Camden Market are all within zones 1 and 2.

Learn When to Tap Out

On the tube, DLR, and trains, you'll need to tap out as well as tapping in with your card. If you forget to do this, you could be overcharged for your journey. However, you don't have to tap out on London buses or the Croydon tramlink, as the fee for each journey is the same no matter how long you ride.

In Central London, It Can Be Faster to Walk

The tube map doesn't show the distance between stations accurately, and some tube stations are much closer than you think. This includes one of the most popular tourists journeys in London: Leicester Square to Covent Garden. You can walk this journey in minutes by heading down Long Acre, and it's much quicker than navigating the two busy tube stations (one of which has a notoriously busy and temperamental lift). Another famously close pairing is Charing Cross and Embankment. TFL has now produced a brilliant walking tube map that shows the average walking time between stations.

Don't Forget That Your Ticket Goes Beyond Just the Tube

A travelcard or PAYG Oyster or contactless card will let you travel on multiple forms of London transport, not just the tube. Sometimes getting a train can be quicker - want to go to Borough Market from the West End? A train from Charing Cross to London Bridge might be faster than trying to find a connection to the Jubilee or Northern line. You may be able to get to Richmond on a train from Waterloo in a fraction of the time it would take to ride the District Line. And don't forget buses: they'll allow you to see where you're going and get your bearings in a way the tube never will.

Some Bus Routes Make Great Budget Tours

I'm a huge London bus advocate. When I first moved to London, I didn't even pay for a travelcard, I just got a bus pass! It helped me learn the layout of the city and discover all manner of shortcuts I'd never know otherwise. If you don't fancy or can't afford an open-top bus tour, ride the top deck of a London bus and take in the sights for $2! There are loads of options, but I'd recommend two to start you off: the 10 from Hammersmith takes in Kensington, Knightsbridge, Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, and Oxford Street. The 88 takes you from Camden Town down into central London, via Trafalgar Square, through beautiful Westminster down to Pimlico for the Tate Britain. Jump off there for a spot of art or stay on until Clapham Common for my favorite South London secret, gelato at Nardulli's.

London Buses Are Cash Free

Another reason to embrace contactless payment: you can no longer pay your fare in cash on the bus. You'll need to tap in on one of the card readers. The new hopper fare means if you transfer between multiple buses (or trams) within an hour, you'll only get charged once (but remember to still tap in each time), which is a bonus given that it's not unknown for them to change their destination after you've got on!

Be Careful Where You Stand

If you want to ingratiate yourself with the locals, learn the rules of public transport. Always stand on the right on escalators at stations: this allows people to rush past on the left. This is an actual rule, not just British politeness! When you get to your platform be sure to move along, don't gather at the entrance blocking other people. There are tube maps all the way along the platform if you're unsure where you're going. On buses, don't stand in the doorway, either at the exit or by the driver, for obvious reasons!

Don't Get Caught Out at the Airport

If you're flying into London, check the airport website for travel information before you set off. Though there may be Oyster barriers at airport train stations, not all routes to and from airports accept Oyster / Contactless for payment, and most airports have two train options, a more expensive "express" train and a cheaper but slower stopping service. You'll need the right ticket for the train you're on or you could face a big fine. London Heathrow is the only airport with a tube station.

Avoid Peak Time If You Can

The commuting hours of 8-9.30 and 5-7pm are very, very busy and if you're not used to the scrum, it can be overwhelming. Commuters have little time for tourists who hold them up on their way to work / home. Try to organize your day so you don't need to use the busiest stations during these times (think mainline rail connections and hubs where multiple lines meet like Oxford Circus, Leicester Square, and Bank). The worst thing you can do in the early evening is make short trips in the center of town (Oxford Circus to Piccadilly Circus, for example) in large groups, or with piles of bulky shopping bags. Walk, wait a bit or take a bus if you can!

Don't Stand in Stupid Places

Trains and tube carriages and buses get busy. Even if it's quiet when you get on, it won't last. Move down, take seats if they're available, and for the love of Prince Harry, please don't lean your entire body against the poles that are designed for people to hold on to!

Shhhh!

Though most people will happily help you if you have a question about your journey, in general Londoners aren't exactly chatty on public transport. You'll recognize them by their headphones, or the fact their head is stuck in a book or a newspaper. Sorry if you think that's rude, but it's just the way things are! The worst thing you can do is engage a Londoner in what you think is a friendly conversation about how busy and hot the tube is and how you "can't believe" they use it every day at rush hour.

Keep a Lid on Your Booze

There aren't many places you can't drink alcohol in London, but public transport is one of them. New rules came into place a few years ago, which mean you can get fined for carrying open bottles of alcohol on tubes and buses. Plenty of folks still take their chances, but it's probably not worth the risk. Save it until you get off the tube or bus and head for the nearest pub! The rules on trains are slightly different and vary depending on the operator.

The Completely Addictive Method of Grilling Steak

The reverse sear method for cooking steak is arguably one of the best indoor techniques, and a similar concept can be applied when grilling steak outdoors on a charcoal grill. Instead of slow-cooking in the oven, the steak is first smoked (positioned away from the charcoal), and instead of searing on a skillet, the steak is finished directly over the charcoal for just a few minutes on each side. You're left with perfectly juicy steak and a crisp exterior, no burnt bits or accidental overcooking. You can do this, grill master, you.

Here's what you'll need:

  • A charcoal grill
  • Hardwood lump charcoal
  • Gelled alcohol
  • Stick lighter
  • Barbecue tongs
  • Mesquite wood chunks (or any other type)
  • 2 (12-ounce) strip steaks (at least 1-inch thick)
  • Ghee or clarified butter
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's Kids Pick Out Their Own Outfits: "I Let Them Win That Battle"

It sounds like Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are superchill parents to daughters, Esmeralda, 4, and Amada, 2 - at least when it comes to what they wear. The 44-year-old fashion mogul recently spoke to E! News about picking her battles with her daughters.

"Thank God there's no fashion talk. But I let them wear whatever they want," she said while promoting The Eva Mendes Collection for New York & Company. "They have the right . . . [if] they want to wear jammies all day or if they want to go in a costume to the market, I let them do that stuff. I let them win that battle. That's the easy one. I'm trying to get them to eat broccoli. That's the one I want to win. They can wear whatever they want."

Even though Eva is busy parenting two toddlers, she doesn't let that stop her from always looking put together. "Even though I have less time to think about what I'm wearing for my day or how to put something together, I think of it more in a sense of even if I'm not with my kids, I'm always representing them. It's always on my mind," she said. "I'm somebody's mother, and I need to act accordingly. There's an intense amount of pressure that I feel, but it's good pressure."

Britney Spears Seemingly Rewinds Time to Look Like Her Early-2000s Self in New Kenzo Ads

Britney Spears has been in the business for over 26 years, but you would never guess it looking at her latest photos. The Princess of Pop is the new face of Kenzo's new La Collection Memento N°2 line, and she is somehow looking younger than ever. Perhaps it's the youthful clothing, or maybe it's a healthy dose of airbrushing, but Britney doesn't look like she has aged one bit since her heyday in the early 2000s.

The campaign images were shot by Peter Lindbergh and feature Britney sporting cropped hoodies, trucker hats, and plenty of denim pieces that look like they are straight from the Brit-Brit archives. "I was really flattered when Kenzo approached me to be the face of their line. I love the brand, and with denim being a big part of this collection, it made it that much more appealing to me since denim is such a part of my own style," said Britney in a press release.

The nostalgia-based collection uses references from the brand's storied history, as well as Britney's own well-documented wardrobe. Her infamous head-to-toe denim look from the 2001 American Music Awards seems to have been given a modern upgrade in the campaign images, as the mother-of-two posed in a full-denim look comprised of a bikini, cropped jacket, baseball hat, and over-the-knee boots in one of the snaps.

Since the collection is all about fun throwbacks, Britney is the perfect person to be the face of the campaign, especially since the images make her look like she's been frozen in time. Click through to see all of Britney's Kenzo ads, and let us know how you think the 36-year-old keeps turning back the clock.

Don't Be Fooled, Jennifer Aniston's Street Style Game Is Sexy as Hell

Kate Middleton's New Maternity Coat Says, "Goodbye Winter, Hellooo Spring!"

Kate Middleton shows no sign of slowing down her royal engagements ahead of the birth of her third child next month. She stepped out on behalf of The Royal Foundation to attend a symposium at the Royal Society of Medicine in London wearing a bespoke green coat by Jenny Packham with bow detailing and a matching green dress.

She teamed her accessories with neutral heels and her signature clutch. The duchess opted for a brighter Spring color to replace the blue hues she's been wearing during her pregnancy; perhaps she's got green on the brain after sporting it during the St. Patrick's Day parade . . . or maybe she ditched the blue after people began to wonder if she was hinting at the sex of the impending arrival!

We Might Be More Focused on Princess Eugenie's Wedding Guest Dress Than Her Own Bridal Gown

As a member of the British royal family, Princess Eugenie has access to many designers, but that hasn't stopped her from rewearing her favorite looks multiple times. She famously recycled a printed Erdem dress for her engagement photos, and she shopped her closet once again as she attended the royal wedding of Prince Christian of Hanover and Alessandra de Osma.

While in Peru for the lavish nuptials, Princess Eugenie chose a gorgeous printed, cold-shoulder dress by Peter Pilotto that she was first spotted in leaving the Chiltern Firehouse in London in late 2017. She attended the wedding festivities with her sister, Princess Beatrice, who also stepped out in a repeated look.

Princess Beatrice opted for a navy and gold embellished Tommy Hilfiger gown, which she first wore to the 2016 Angel Ball. While Princess Beatrice's frock is already sold out, you can still shop Princess Eugenie's exact dress ahead, as well as similar cold-shoulder silhouettes.

Ashley Graham Just Signed a Huge Revlon Contract - Here's Why It's Such a Big Deal

Image Source: Getty / Daniel Zuchnik

Congratulations are in order for Ashley Graham! The gorgeous model just signed her first beauty contract as part of Revlon's "Live Boldly" campaign, and it's a groundbreaking deal, not only for the model, but for the entire beauty industry. Ashley has played a big role in the fashion world for years, posing for Sports Illustrated's Swim Issue and stunning on the cover of Vogue, but being one of the first curve models to lock down a major beauty contract had her in tears.

"Historically, curvy girls are not given beauty contacts," she told WWD. "It's kind of groundbreaking, because in my generation of models, this hasn't happened yet. This is one of those moments where I'm over the moon, I cried a little."

Ashley joins Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot and models Adwoa Aboah, Imaan Hammam, and Raquel Zimmermann in the new campaign.

"You've been slowly seeing [curvy] models pop up in makeup campaigns, but you haven't heard of any actually signing contracts, and I think it's because [companies] just want to get their feet wet. It's like, 'Hmmm, let's try this bold curvy thing now and see if it's real or see if it's a trend,'" Ashley said. "The average American woman is a size 14 and if you ask me, lipstick does not have a size." And let's be real: Ashley can rock a red lip like a boss.

My Husband Will Just Have to Deal With This "F*cking Terrifying" Mask, Because It Works

If you're looking for a mask that will soothe your skin while openly repelling any and all love interests, man, have I got the product for you. While Dr. Jart's Shake and Shot Mask has been all the rage lately, I still hadn't gotten my hands on its predecessor, the original Rubber Mask. As a lover of all temporarily horrifying skincare treatments, I longed to try it.

After reviewing the options - the sunshine yellow Bright Lover, the slate gray Clear Skin Lover, and the bubblegum pink Firm Lover - I settled on the most popular version, the baby blue Hydration Lover ($12). Each type of mask contains slightly different ingredients targeted to treat your skin's specific needs, and my skin is constantly lacking in moisture.

The mask is basically a two-step process, consisting of a concentrated serum layered under a Goodnight Mommy-esque "rubber" mask. I washed my face with some gentle cleanser before applying the clear serum, which comes in a pack with the mask. The Hydration Mask's serum features a Keratin complex, which supposedly helps with moisture retention and skin's elasticity.

The mask itself may look and feel like rubber, but it's actually composed of good-for-your-skin stuff like seaweed extract (which contains vitamin C) and brown algae. It's broken into two pieces that you smooth over the top and bottom halves of your face. You will likely have some parts overlapping, and a little bit over your hairline. I did appreciate that it wasn't one big sheet; as one size often does not fit all when it comes to faces!

I set a timer for 20 minutes, and waited for my husband to find me. Eventually he wandered in and, spooked, exclaimed, "Well, that's f*cking terrifying."

After washing it off, I felt and saw little difference - until the next day. My skin looked brighter and clearer, and felt, dare I say, quenched. The mask isn't reusable (please don't try to dry it out and wear it again, weirdo), so I'm considering trying another version. If the Hydration Lover zapped my blooming blemishes, what wonders could the Clear Skin Lover do?!

I'll leave you with this image. Use it to scare your children at will.

Cruelty-Free Mascaras That Even Lash Extension Addicts Will Love

If you're thinking of transitioning your beauty routine to cruelty-free, we're here to help. There's no reason that cosmetics brands need to test on animals (it's not required by law in the United States), and many of your favorite brands have sworn off testing on our furry friends. Most beauty junkies don't want to sacrifice makeup quality – especially when it comes to getting long, thick, voluminous lashes - and you don't have to.

We've rounded up some of the blackest, thickest, most incredible mascaras on the market that all happen to be 100 percent cruelty-free. Keep reading to find your next go-to mascara without harming any animals.

The Cher Horowitz-Approved Makeup Shade That's Currently Dominating Instagram

Just take a look at a Glossier product, and you'll know that millennial pink isn't going anywhere anytime soon. However, to paraphrase the great Cher Horowitz, "May I please remind you it does not say 'RSVP' on the list of hot new Instagram beauty trends."

I use that quote from Clueless because Gen Z yellow, millennial pink's underdog younger cousin, is currently all over Instagram - and it's hard not to compare the shade to Cher's iconic plaid suit. This hue has been a fashion trend since last Summer, when Man Repeller coined the term. Now that hue, previously reserved for clothes (see: Greta Gerwig's daffodil gown at the 2018 Oscars), has moved north to infiltrate our makeup. And we are all about it!

Read on to see our favorite Gen Z yellow makeup looks.

These 22 Cruelty-Free Lipsticks Are Perfect For Animal-Lovers

You might think it's difficult or expensive to use cruelty-free makeup products, but there are actually many brands you already love that don't test on animals. Animal testing is cruel and incredibly unnecessary (there's no law in the United States requiring it), so making the decision to go cruelty-free is important to many animal-lovers.

If you're searching for a new lipstick, check out the incredible picks ahead, starting at just $2. Each one is packed with pigment, comfortable on the lips, and completely cruelty-free. It's proof that you can shop for ethical beauty products at any price point.

7 Halal Nail Polishes That Are Changing the Game For Muslim Women

Fashion brands are finally recognizing the buying power of millennial Muslim women; some are even catering to the market by introducing hijab clothing lines. The beauty industry has also taken notice, and there's been a bit of a revolutionary progression with nail polishes that has changed the game completely for Muslim women.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, let me break down what nail polish can possibly have to do with being a Muslim. In the religion of Islam, followers are to pray five times a day, and the first step in praying is ablution or cleansing oneself thoroughly with water. Water is unable to permeate traditional nail polish, and because it creates a barrier, the nails aren't considered clean enough to pray with. Therefore, the majority of Muslim women who pray regularly tend to refrain from using any type of nail polish.

Halal nail polish formula is water- and air-permeable, making it much easier for women to perform ablution and prayers. This development has been a real game changer for Muslim women across the globe!

Check out the latest brands making headway with new technologies that are allowing Muslim women to finally get their nails done.

This Dry Shampoo Trick Will Change How You Use It Forever

We all know how useful dry shampoo is for giving hair a much-needed refresh. Whether your fringe is looking a little lackluster or you underestimated just how quickly your bouncy blow-dry would go flat, a quick spritz of your favorite brand, and your hair is back to its beautiful best.

But there's a secret trick to making it work even better. Though a dry shampoo moment often comes when you wake up late or underestimate how long you can go between washes, if you know already that you're not going to have the time or inclination to wash and dry your hair one morning (and let's face it, after that third glass of Chardonnay, you know) then try this trick: spritz your dry shampoo into your hair before you go to bed.

This way, it'll have all night to work its magic and settle in. You can be more generous too. By letting it soak up excess oil overnight, you get less of the powdery feel and residue that sometimes comes with newly spritzed hair (especially on darker hair colors), but you'll still add volume and remove any excess grease. And while I'm sure loads of you have been doing this forever, this newly discovered trick has been a recent game-changer for me, allowing me to eke an extra day out of each blow-dry without it looking really obvious that I've reached for the powder!

Dry shampoo shouldn't be used as an alternative to actually washing your hair when it needs it, but few of us should be shampooing every day. Whether it's your hair type or environmental factors causing flat, lackluster locks, anything that can be done to make the in-between days look better is a bonus. Here's to great looking hair with minimal effort!

Royally Obsessed: Kate Middleton's Go-To Lipsticks

Look at any photograph of Kate Middleton and - we can say with utmost confidence - you'll see her sporting a sheer, natural-leaning lipstick. The truth is that bright reds, hot pinks, and daring purples or blues are not the go-to for this Duchess. Instead, she opts for neutral pinks, creamy nudes, and, if she's feeling bold, a deeper, more prominent mauve.

We're showcasing three of her go-to lip shades here and also giving you product suggestions that'll help you re-create her lip looks - including info on one lipstick we know she wears, for sure.

15 Quotes That'll Inspire You to Go Makeup Free

The beauty community has certainly made a place for itself on Instagram. Over the years, it's increasingly evolved into a digital wonderland of fierce makeup lewks, product haul videos, shelfies, and tutorials. It's also a space where makeup lovers can convene to sound off, share their thoughts about new launches, or even inspire the rest of the community. Sometimes that means talking about your acne, lamenting about your psoriasis, sharing makeup fails, or baring your naked face to the world in a defiant burst of confidence. And sometimes inspiring others is as simple as dropping a thought-provoking, humorous, or #girlpower-inciting quote about going makeup free.
