What It's Really Like to Quit Your Job, Drop Everything, and Move to Hawaii

It's not hard to sit back and fantasize about leaving for a tropical escape when the weather gets moody and work deadlines are overwhelming. But actually making the move? Well, it's a heck of a lot more difficult.

Somewhere along the way, this fantasy became my necessity. I needed a shift and a change in pace after a long, tough year of health issues. So after some soul-searching, I bought myself a one-way ticket, quit my job, and moved out of my apartment. I said goodbye, San Francisco - and ALOHA, Hawaii!

The first few days were a vacation with my sister and my partner on the island with me - we joined my sister's friends for nights out to dive bars and house parties, rang in the new year at a Gatsby-themed soiree, soaked up plenty of sun on the beach, and drank too many mai tais. We spent the night at a trendy hotel in Waikiki and spent too much money on expensive appetizers. I got my honorary first sunburn.

Vacation life, ya know?

Having my dear friends visit was such a blessing!

I was quick to discover island living is not always sunshine and coconuts. Once my friends left, I was alone back at the house with myself, my thoughts, and one very fuzzy golden retriever. I realized that with the bustle of Christmas festivities and hours spent packing my life into boxes for storage, I hadn't really been alone alone in a while. When the outdoor voices quieted, the weight of the past two months' worth of big moments and big decisions let themselves be felt in their entirety.

San Francisco was my home for two years. I had made best friends that became family; I loved my job and the people I worked with; I was dating someone I loved; I had an adorable bedroom with old hardwood floors and a bay window. But even though the outside looked so picturesque, on the inside, I was slowly recovering from my mental illness - a wrestle with chronic depression and generalized anxiety - and the hustle of city living wasn't helping.

I had turned to the island of Oahu for an escape, a hope for a fresh start somewhere among the turquoise waters and sugary sand.

The truth is, no matter where you are in the world, your feelings still follow. Your story still has its past. Insecurities still exist. The questions and the fears and the hurt are still there. I couldn't 100 percent expect my struggles, my heartache, and missing my dear friends, old coworkers, and yes, even the city disappear in a bubble of beach happiness. I couldn't find healing instantaneously.

During my first few weeks on the island, I quickly learned that while moving can never be completely running away, I don't think it should be. Hawaii, while a gorgeous spot to lose oneself in a beach vacation, became my sacred, quiet place for processing and restoration. I had to remind myself this wasn't vacation - this was real life, my life, and I chose it. It was a dream 10 years in the making, and it was here.

It took a few 10-hour nights of sleep, unpacked suitcases, and pictures hung on walls for a comfortable reality to set in. I wasn't alone - I was a phone call away from those I love, a few steps from a welcoming roommate, an hour's drive from the North Shore and another dear friend on it.

But most of all, I was here - with me, myself, and I.

So far, this new chapter has been all about taking a long, sandy stroll back to myself, and I'm OK with it. Let the adventure continue.

This Target-Exclusive Ben & Jerry's Flavor Is Inspired by Camping (but It's Not Too In-Tents)

Speaking as a person who is constantly on the lookout for yet another reason to go to Target, this Ben & Jerry's news is extra exciting: you can reportedly only get the brand's latest flavor at Target stores, so if you want to taste it, you'll just have to make a Target run. (But don't worry, you're only going "for one thing" - what could possibly go wrong?) The flavor sounds worth the trip, too: it's called Glampfire Trail Mix, and according to the ice cream company, it's loaded with all the fixings of a decadent Glamping trip snack.

"Inspired by glampfire tales of outdoorsy getaways filled with indoorsy perks, our trail mix is uber-chocolaty, nutty, marshmallowed-&-pretzeled, so you can get lost in the dessert without leaving the yurt," reads the flavor description, which notes the flavor as a chocolate ice cream filled with pretzels, marshmallows, and fudge-covered almonds.

Junk food Instagrammer CandyHunting reports that Glampfire Trail Mix is a Target-exclusive flavor, so be sure to swing by the frozen section during your next shopping trip. And don't worry - if there's no Target near you, Ben & Jerry's has another new flavor, Gimme S'more, that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth!

The Fates Have Spoken, and Starbucks's Crystal Ball Frappuccino Is a Real Winner

Starbucks's latest concoction is here, y'all, and dare I say this is the best of the fun Frappuccino flavors yet? The Crystal Ball Frappuccino is available now through March 26, and trust me when I say this is one you don't want to miss, despite some of the mixed emotions the drink is garnering.

The Crystal Ball Frappuccino starts with a crème Frappuccino base that is infused with peach flavor and turquoise sparkles that create an enchanting marbling effect - just like a crystal ball, get it? But the real magic happens when the peach-flavored whipped cream is sprinkled with candy gems. The sprinkles will read your fortune, so to speak. If the sprinkles turn blue, you're destined for adventure. If they turn green, you may just get lucky. And if you get purple sprinkles, wonder and enchantment are headed your way.

Truly, this is probably my favorite Frappuccino Starbucks has ever pulled together, solely because of its simplicity and rich peach flavor. As a self-proclaimed peach fanatic, this one hits the mark. The drink tastes like a straight-up peaches-and-cream smoothie, and while mine wasn't as brightly colored as some of the photos I've seen, I didn't feel like it was missing anything.

As for my sprinkles, I got green, so if you'll excuse me, I'm about to go buy seven lucky lottery tickets and start planning my next vacation.

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Taylor Swift's "J" Necklace - You Know the One

Taylor Swift has been notoriously private about her romance with boyfriend Joe Alwyn, but it seems like she is getting more comfortable showing her love for him - at least through fashion. For months now, it seems every time we see a new photo or video of the singer, she's wearing a silver Tiffany & Co. pendant necklace engraved with the letter "J." The songstress even references wearing the sentimental piece in her song "Call It What You Want" with the lyrics "I want to wear his initial/On a chain round my neck/chain round my neck/Not because he owns me/But 'cause he really knows me."

Since putting it on over a year ago, Taylor has worn the versatile design with practically everything. Lily Aldridge Commanded Everyone's Attention at the Pool in This Red Swimsuit

Former Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley might have shared this swimwear secret with fellow model Lily Aldridge: where to find a cute terry cloth swimsuit. Rosie first wore this brown one-piece from Hunza G, and now Lily's chosen the same brand too, rocking not one but two different items from the swim label.

While on vacation, Lily snapped herself chilling poolside in an orange bikini. We immediately took note of the material - terry cloth isn't a common find! - and thought it was perfect for vacation. Before we even had time to scoop up her exact piece, however, Lily debuted another one-shoulder Hunza G swimsuit. This one was nearly identical to Rosie's, save for the red hue. Lucky for you, both of Lily's swimsuits are still available to shop ahead. And if you're looking for similar pieces, we have some options, too.

Um, Miley Cyrus's Cheeky Jumpsuit Is Meant to Be Seen From Behind

After taking the stage with Elton John at the Grammys in a Disney-worthy gown, Miley Cyrus found another way to pay tribute to the legendary singer. Miley, who was performing at a concert honoring Elton, posted a couple of pictures on Instagram wearing an ensemble that was inspired by the singer's iconic style. She wore a sequinned long-sleeved jumpsuit by August Getty Atelier. Her matching belt had the letter "E" written on the buckle, and she finished off her cheeky ensemble with a pair of thigh-high silver boots. Keep reading to have a look at her sequined outfit and buy similar versions of her entire look.

The Biggest Trend in Street Style May Just Be Coordinating Outfits With Your BFF

Showing up to an event in the same outfit as someone else was once the worst fashion faux pas you could commit. But apparently "twinning" is the trend, according to street style stars. Whether it was pals Aimee Song and Camila Coelho wearing the exact same Tibi dress or European bloggers Caroline Daur and Helena Bordon showing up to an event in coordinated black and yellow outfits, eerily similar looks were spotted all over the streets of Fashion Week.

While we aren't sure if these matching moments were done on purpose or they involved making the best out of an embarrassing situation, duos seriously OWNED their matchy-matchy looks. Read through to see all the look-alike ensembles, and let us know - would you dress in sync with your BFF?

You May Want to Sit Near the AC Before Looking at Ashley Graham's 21 Hottest Bikinigrams

It's no secret that Ashley Graham can rock the hell out of, well . . . just about anything. Whether it's a skintight dress, a simple pair of leggings, or a leg-baring miniskirt, she's always down to put her curves on display, and the same holds true when she strips down in a swimsuit. The supermodel has a knack for finding the most flattering swimwear on the face of the planet, likely because many of the suits she wears are from her Swimsuits For All collection (which you should most definitely check out if you haven't).

Ashley has a dizzying number of swimsuits in her closet, but all of her two-pieces have one major thing in common: they flaunt and accentuate her curves rather than hide them, and gosh darn, we're so here for it! If you're in the mood for a dose of body positivity, scope out Ashley's hottest bikinigrams ahead and then admire her best one-piece looks right after. You may want to grab a squeegee and some Windex because these snaps are so sexy, they just might fog up your screen.

Kate Middleton Wore Skinny Jeans For Her Final Outing Before Giving Birth - Right On!

Kate Middleton may be giving birth next month, but she's been keeping very busy with her royal appearances and events. She attended the St. Patrick's Day parade in a deep green outfit, attended a symposium at the Royal Society of Medicine wearing a light green coat, and finally accompanied Prince William to a SportsAid event.

Kate opted for a casual outfit for the occasion, leaving her cream Goat coat open to reveal a floral Hobbs top and black skinny jeans. This laid-back combination is far from the formal style she usually goes for, and we can't help but wonder whether slim-fit denim and an undone jacket are notes Kate picked up from her soon to be royal sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.

The duchess is said to be helping Meghan adjust to royal life, and it looks like the two might be exchanging tips. Despite Kate's simple basics (and being eight months pregnant!), Kate still stepped into high heels. I guess we can't expect anything less from a princess. Get a closer look at Kate's ensemble ahead, and shop some inspired pieces.

No Wonder Kate Wasley Is in the SI Swimsuit Issue - She Has Stellar Taste in Bikinis IRL

Y'all, Kate Wasley is a total babe and the total package. Even though the Australian curve model broke onto the scene a mere two years ago, she already earned one of the coveted spots in Sports Illustrated's 2018 Swimsuit Issue, and it's easy to see why. Kate has become a champion of body-positivity, regularly inspiring her social media followers to live their happiest and healthiest lives no matter what size they are. She was the first-ever curve model for Lorna Jane Active, and somehow also has time to be a badass certified personal trainer on the side. Oh, and did we mention she has great taste in swimwear even when she's not posing for Sports Illustrated?

Whether she's sporting a plunging one-piece while soaking in the sun or keeping it simple in a black triangle bikini, Kate is always down to show off her glorious curves, and we are so here for it. Get a taste of Kate's swimsuit style by scrolling through the 'grams ahead. Is she a freakin' bombshell or what?!

Angelina Jolie Just Went Grocery Shopping in Our Dream "Incognito" Sunglasses

Angelina Jolie may not always aim to appear so glamorous, especially when she's just wearing neutral basics and grocery shopping with her children. Nevertheless, a black, floor-length trench coat, trousers, and oversize sunglasses do the trick. Now, Angelina owns a long list of designer shades, but this studded Fendi pair ($325) with tortoise rims and faded lenses are the perfect shape.

These are a touch retro and large enough to shield the paparazzi (or, in our case, passersby we might be trying to avoid). Grocery shopping is a private activity, no? We don't blame Angelina for keeping on such a chic accessory to scan the aisles. Ahead, you can scoop up Angelina's exact sunglasses, or similar ones that fit the bill.

We can name so many of the singer's flawless fashion moments off the top of our heads, and they include everything from gowns with dramatic trains to mosaic-embellished over-the-knee boots and sequined suits. Have You Noticed Gigi Hadid's Handbags Are Getting Smaller and Smaller?

You may have noticed Gigi Hadid has downsized when it comes to her handbags. It all started when she carried mini Stalvey bags one after the next, and now Gigi shows no signs of stopping. The model has completely ditched her big totes and satchels for dainty box clutches and wristlets. Sometimes, she even skips carrying a bag altogether and simply holds her phone. While many of us can't imagine going through the day without our trusty totes (where do we put our gum and tissues?), Gigi's teaching us it's OK to be a minimalist. See how she's pulled off the look so far, then shop some mini bag selections below.

Every Gal's Got That Dress That Makes Them "Ooh" and "Ahh" - This Is Michelle Obama's

Michelle Obama's fresh Spring dress is not like the rest of them. It's the type that makes you want to zoom in close and investigate, seeing that it's printed with a map and features scripture all along the skirt. Phrases like "Sensibility," "Obedience," and "Sincerity" can be made out if you examine the details - and those words are stronger than your average floral print, eh?

Michelle's design is by Gucci, and she wore it to attend BET's Leading Women Defined event, where she was interviewed by Valerie Jarrett on stage. It makes for quite the memorable number, which is why we thought right back to Michelle's appearance on The Ellen Show in September 2016, when she first debuted this flashy yellow midi.

While it's no longer available to shop, we're feeling the "make them look twice" vibes Michelle's emitting, so we rounded up a bunch of dresses with patterns so striking, we'd like to study them with binoculars. Read on to scoop one up for your own wardrobe.

I Survived Breastfeeding My Preemie in the NICU

An entire month before my due date, I found myself being rushed to the hospital. My baby-to-be had reached a stagnant weight and was no longer growing, and she would need to be admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit right after I gave birth. To say I was an emotional train wreck is a serious understatement.

I quickly learned that having a premature baby in the NICU meant that I couldn't do a lot of things. I couldn't hold my daughter, cuddle her, or soothe her in my arms. I couldn't get alone time with her or share those special bonding moments new moms dream about. Since her lungs weren't fully developed, she needed to remain on oxygen until they became stable enough for her to breathe on her own. The doctors didn't know when that would be, so they informed me she would need a feeding tube until further notice. It also meant she would be staying in the NICU for an indefinite period of time.

One of those nurses even told me I should just stop trying altogether, which made me want to succeed even more.

I felt like breastfeeding her was all I had left to cling to. That was the end goal I became focused on. Until I could actually breastfeed her, though, I had to pump. A lot. Every hour that wasn't spent in the car driving to and from the hospital to visit her, I was pumping. This might seem a little excessive (trust me - it felt that way, too), but it was the only way to establish my milk supply and make it last since my daughter couldn't actually breastfeed on her own yet. I was awake all the time, and barely sane.

Between these never-ending pumping sessions were the best parts of my days. I would wash up, put on my latex gloves and scrubs (something all visitors have to do to reduce the germs that pass through the NICU), and go visit Grace. I always did the same thing, which was pull up a chair next to her isolette - basically a small, glass incubator - and read her books, sing her songs, or reach through the armholes just to hold her tiny, precious hand. She made all the trouble of pumping and everything else worth it. It was on day five of her NICU stay that I was told her feeding and oxygen tubes would finally be removed. To celebrate, the nurse gave me the OK to hold her for the very first time since she was born. We stayed that way for hours, until the lactation consultant from the hospital showed up in all of her angelic glory.

The moment I was waiting for was here: we would finally get to breastfeed! As much as Grace tried, though, she was still so weak and fragile. Every time she would finally start to latch on to my nipple and start sucking, she would either fall asleep or lose control and fall off - not to mention the cords and IVs I had to navigate around every time I had contact with her. I'll admit, being on the hormonal rollercoaster ride that happens postpregnancy got the better of me for a little bit. I felt like I had failed her, and almost every part of me wanted to give up. But I couldn't . . . I wouldn't. I loved her too much to just throw in the towel that easily. And while I had absolutely no problem formula-feeding or even pumping and feeding her through a bottle, I wasn't ready to let go of my breastfeeding journey just yet.

Grace and I worked with that angelic lactation consultant every day. It wasn't always easy, especially when a few of the nurses got annoyed that I would be keeping Grace out of her isolette for so long to try to breastfeed. I would quietly listen on as the lactation consultant stressed the importance of skin-to-skin contact and the benefits of breastfeeding to the nurses, who would then voice their concerns that preemies aren't supposed to be exposed to the outside world and germs often. One of those nurses even told me I should just stop trying altogether, which made me want to succeed even more. Regardless of anyone's opinion, it really felt like Grace and I were a team. If she could latch on and remain awake, I was happy. If she needed to be bottle-fed with my pumped breast milk that day, I was happy. Most importantly, I felt like even if we just made it that much farther, we could make it through anything.

Our breakthrough came on the second-to-last day of Grace's 10-day NICU stay. She had been moved up to intensive care and into an open crib. She had lost weight, making her a total of 4 pounds 12 ounces, but she was still healthy and thriving. Her lungs were doing great, and everything was looking up. It all felt too good to be true, but to make it even better, she had finally completed a breastfeeding session, emptying one breast, then the other. Little did I know this would be just one of many. I ended up breastfeeding Grace exclusively until her first birthday, and I enjoyed every single moment of it . . . especially since I knew how hard it was to get there.

15 Foods Experts Say You Don't Have to Buy Organic If You're on a Tight Budget

With widespread knowledge about the benefits of shopping organic as well as the dangers of pesticides, it's hard not to feel guilty when reaching for nonorganic groceries to save money. Luckily, the following produce items - deemed the Clean 15 by the Environmental Working Group - are perfectly safe and healthy to eat when grown nonorganically.

Elizabeth Caton, brand and nutrition manager at Guiding Stars, points out that while the following foods have very little pesticide residue in their edible portions, they're still grown with pesticides. If you prefer to remain conscious of pesticide use in general, she suggests buying organic foods "to protect yourself, farmers/growers, the environment, or a combination of these." But if you're on a tight budget, these foods make it possible to eat well and save a few dollars.

Based on Last Year's Trends, These 30 Names Will Be Among the Most Popular of 2018

Although the top five baby names for both boys and girls have remained basically unchanged for the last few years (hello, Emma and Liam!), according to some of the more lower-ranking most popular baby names listed for 2017, we think there will be a few monikers that may just upset the top slots in 2018. A Letter to the Person Sitting in Front of My Son on the Airplane

Editor's note: this post has been updated from its original version.

Sir,

I apologize for my son pushing your seat. Traveling can be stressful, and I know that it's annoying. But with all due respect, would you please sit back down and mind your own business? What gave you the right to discipline my 3-year-old son? I am his mother, and I'm pretty sure that's my job.

The first mistake you made was calling him "sweetheart." I get that he has long hair, but he's not a girl. The second mistake you made was bringing too much attention to the situation. You have poked the bear, and he now thinks it's funny to kick your seat. The third mistake you made was pissing ME off by addressing him and not me - your only hope.

He's been flying since he was 4 months old (32 different planes to be exact), and he's usually a trooper. Since his legs have grown longer, I've found it somewhat difficult to keep them off the seat in front of him. Holding them for two hours is usually the best course of action, but it's not the most practical. I occasionally need to remove them to do other things. Maybe now I should just order a Bloody Mary and relax. Boy, wouldn't that be a dream.

It's been a long holiday weekend. Over Thanksgiving, washing the dishes after dinner was my only time to relax. How was your Thanksgiving holiday? My holiday was spent tending to my child's needs (and tantrums). I don't know your story or your past, but let me assume for a second that in your younger years, you flew with a toddler. Can you try to remember how difficult that was?

I've spent the past four hours lugging around his 34-pound body and a seven-pound car seat. Not only do I have his stroller to keep up with, but I also have his backpack, his snacks, his pillow, my computer, my purse, his iPad, and our boarding passes. I've had to visit the disgusting airport restroom 10 times to ensure he doesn't wet himself on the plane. I encountered dirty looks and stares while pleading with him to stop screaming "Jingle Bells" at the top of his lungs. My only chance to get him to eat something nutritious today was to bribe him with ice cream, which I never allow and now realize wasn't the best idea.

After boarding the plane with my son, I hoped and prayed for a tiny break. I even thought that break might come in the form of the person sitting in front of him showing me some compassion in my vulnerable, stressful situation. Instead of that break, however, I got YOU: rude, unsympathetic curmudgeon. Our plane hadn't even taken off yet, and everyone was still getting settled. I could have easily diffused the seat-pushing situation had you let me handle it. You never gave me a chance. As a parent, that is disrespectful.

When you first stood up, I was caught off guard. I even took away his iPad in an attempt to discipline him. But after I had a second to think, I was pissed at you and myself. Instead of punishing him, I should have defended him. Had you and your older son not conveniently been bumped up to first class (because our flight was overbooked), I would have. I hope that next time you decide to stick your nose where it doesn't belong, you will think twice. So, thank you for adding stress to my already nerve-racking day.

From,
A Protective and Tired Mother

PS - And to the woman who was also sitting in the row in front of my son, thank you for not being like the man above. Your kindness and humanity were a breath of fresh air. My son had kicked your seat multiple times, and yet you smiled. I was worried when you first stood up that, once again, I would be scorned. He has acrobatic feet, a larger-than-life personality, and an ear-piercing roar. I was pleasantly surprised when you wanted to see his "adorable face," as you so pleasantly put it. The way you delicately tickled his feet made him giggle.

I want you to know that you are my hero. Not only did you take a mountain of stress off my shoulders, but you also renewed my faith in people. Going forward in life, I will think of you often and remember how you treated my son. I'll remember that for every crotchety, intolerant person who rolls their eyes, there are also people like you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

The 1 Car Seat Rule Even the Most Safety-Conscious Parent Doesn't Know

Most newer car and car seat models use the LATCH system (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children), but even the most safety-conscious of parents may be misusing the simple car seat installation method. The LATCH system attaches the car seat to the vehicle through anchor points installed in the car and connectors on the car seat, which makes for easy installation and can eliminate potential errors resulting from installing a car seat with a seat belt. However, many parents don't know that the 65-pound weight limit for using the LATCH system includes the weight of your child as well as the weight of the car seat itself (most average between 20-25 pounds).

We spoke with Sarah Tilton, Britax's Child Passenger Safety Technician and Chair of the National Child Passenger Safety Board, who confirmed LATCH weight limit guidelines for us. "Very often we see a misuse with LATCH systems as families don't know that they have a total weight capacity," she told POPSUGAR. "Your car seat plus your child cannot weight more than 65 pounds. There's a label on the side of every car seat manufactured since 2014 that tells you what that child's weight capacity is for lower anchors."

Kate Koch-Sundquist, mom and Parent.co editor, is a self-proclaimed "car-seat safety fanatic," but even she was unaware of this common and dangerous mistake.

If there's one thing I'm crazy about, it's my kids' safety. That's why I was surprised – no, shocked – to discover that a car seat safety rule exists that I didn't know about. As a result, I was unknowingly putting my son in an unsafe position. . . . At 45 pounds, my 5-year-old is still in a five-point harness car seat, which he will probably be in until he gets his driver's license. (Is there a rule about driving from a car seat?) Up until today, his car seat was secured using the LATCH system. I had never even noticed the sticker on the side which specifies that the LATCH system is for use up to 40 pounds only. I guess I'm not perfect after all.

If you, too, find you're making this error - or want to avoid doing so in the future - be sure to check the sticker on your child's car seat to find the maximum weight limit for installing that car seat with LATCH. Once your child has reached capacity, consult your vehicle owner's manual and car seat user guide to ensure you're correctly installing your child's seat using a seat belt and tether.

Rejoice, Sassenachs: Outlander Execs "Have No Doubt" There Will Be a Fifth Season

Few things can cure the Droughtlander we're currently experiencing as we eagerly await season four of Outlander, but the latest news about Starz's time-traveling drama might come close.

At the For Your Consideration: Outlander panel in LA on Sunday, executive producer Ronald D. Moore had an exciting tidbit to share with the audience. Even though season four has yet to hit our TV screens, Moore confirmed that season five is already in the works, according to Entertainment Weekly. Now, Starz hasn't officially renewed it, but Moore mentioned that's only because the "usual negotiations and conversations" have been delaying things. That being said, Moore declared it's pretty much a done deal. "We are certainly going to do it," he said. "I have no doubt we are doing a season five."

You hear that, Sassenachs? More near-death experiences for Claire and Jamie are in our future! Outlander is based on Diana Gabaldon's bestselling book series of the same name, with season four presumably following book four, Drums of Autumn, and season five taking on the story in the fifth book, The Fiery Cross. However, Moore mentioned that the way the show goes about adapting Gabaldon's work might change as they move forward.

"Every year we approach it fresh," he explained to EW. "Should we keep it a book a season? We've done that up until now. But we've talked about splitting books, and we've talked about combining them. We want to be free in the writers' room to pick and choose and do what feels most comfortable that year."

Season four is still in production, but don't worry - we have plenty of ways for you to keep your mind busy until Outlander returns.

This Scene From Spider-Man 3 With "Realistic" Audio Will Make You Violently Uncomfortable

In today's "This Fills Me With So Much Secondhand Embarrassment I Need to Leave the Room" news, an old, remixed clip from Spider-Man 3 is once again making the rounds on the internet.

Now, while Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy holds a very special place in my heart, I've long been of the opinion that the third film's detour into Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) becoming a "cool" guy after coming into contact with Venom is a campy misstep. Case in point: a scene where Peter struts his stuff on the streets of New York City, pointing finger guns at the women he passes as jazzy music plays in the background.

I truly thought there was no possible way to make the scene more uncomfortable, but now I know I was wrong. Horribly, painfully wrong. Some poor, twisted soul went ahead and replaced the music in the background with "realistic" audio (think: snapping, grunts), and it's enough to make you wish Sandman would appear and put you out of your misery.

12 Photos That Show Just How Much Memphis (and the World) Mourned When Elvis Presley Died

This August will mark the 41st anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, and the world is still mourning one of music's biggest losses to this day. Elvis passed away at age 42 when he suffered a heart attack on Aug. 16, 1977, and his funeral was held in his adopted hometown of Memphis just two days later. President Jimmy Carter issued a statement that said Elvis "permanently changed the face of American popular culture," and thousands of mourners flocked to the streets to pay their respects as his casket was driven through town. While an estimated 80,000 people turned up to watch the processional route to Forest Hill Cemetery, more than 30,000 fans attended a public viewing of Elvis's casket at his Graceland home, which was ordered by his father, Vernon. Elvis was buried next to his beloved mother, Gladys, but they were both later reburied at Graceland. Keep reading to see how the world mourned his heartbreaking death 40 years ago.

Renée Zellweger Is a Carbon Copy of Judy Garland in New Biopic Photo

Hollywood legend Judy Garland is officially getting the biopic treatment, and we already have our first look at the film. On Monday, the film's Twitter account announced that principal photography had started in London. The account also posted our first glimpse at the film's star, Renée Zellweger, in full costume. You have to admit, the resemblance is pretty striking.

According to Deadline, the new film will follow the icon as she performs her final concerts. "Set in winter 1968, the story takes place 30 years after Garland played the iconic role of Dorothy in The Wizard Of Oz. When she arrives in Swinging London to prepare for a sell-out run at The Talk of the Town, she battles with management, charms musicians, and reminisces with friends and adoring fans." Deadline also reports that the film will include renditions of Garland's most iconic songs, including "Over the Rainbow."

In addition to Zellweger, a lot of other star players are already committed to the cast: Finn Wittrock will play Mickey Deans, who was Garland's fifth husband. Jessie Buckley is on board as Rosalyn Wilder, the production assistant who helped Garland during her final concerts. Michael Gambon and Rupert Goold are reportedly in the cast as well, though their exact roles are not confirmed. While Judy does not have an official release date, it seems the production timeline wouldn't allow for a premiere until 2019. Stay tuned!

The Stranger Things Cast Can Probably Buy Their Own Island Now Thanks to Huge Raises

If you need a lesson in knowing your worth, let the cast of Stranger Things show you how it's done. After two wildly successful seasons, the show's lead child and adult stars sat down to renegotiate their salaries going into season three, and their raises are reportedly enough to buy Eggos from now until . . . well, basically forever.

Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Noah Schnapp, and Caleb McLaughlin are all receiving the most dramatic raises, according to Deadline, mostly due to the fact they were all virtual unknowns heading into season one. While they started with an estimated $30,000 per episode for the first two seasons, their new fee is rumored to be somewhere between $200,000 and $250,000 per episode. Brown, who is basically the poster child for Stranger Things at this point thanks to her role as Eleven, is expected to make even more than her male costars.

Before you start to worry about Joyce Byers or Jim Hopper, don't - Winona Ryder and David Harbour are also getting significant pay bumps. Since both of them had established careers when they were hired for season one, their pay per episode is reportedly nearing $350,000 an episode. Do you know how many hidden cabins in the woods that could buy?! Fellow Stranger Things series regulars, like Charlie Heaton and Natalia Dyer, will approach the $100,000 to $150,000 range with their salary increases.

Looks like fighting the Demogorgon was worth it after all. Very worth it.

Randall, Jack, or Rebecca? It's Time to Cast Your Vote For the Best This Is Us Character

As with every complicated, loving family, we all have a favorite. Such is true for the Pearson family on This Is Us. My pick would be Randall Pearson, played by Sterling K. Brown, but there are many people who would probably consider sacrificing themselves in that house fire if it meant sparing Jack's (Milo Ventimiglia) life. Whether you're team Randall, Kevin (Justin Hartley), or Kate (Chrissy Metz), it's time to decide once and for all who's the best This Is Us character. Don't worry: Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson), Toby (Chris Sullivan), and Miguel (Jon Huertas) - or as we like to call them, "the other Big Three" - are also on our list. Be sure to vote up for your favorite and refresh the page to see who's winning.

Beatles Legend Ringo Starr Receives a Special Honor - and New Title - From Prince William

Following his St. Patrick's Day celebration with Kate Middleton over the weekend, Prince William got back to business when he hosted the Investiture ceremony at Buckingham Palace on Tuesday. The knighting ceremony - which recognizes people around the world who have made special contributions to society - honored Beatles drummer Ringo Starr (whose real name is Richard Starkey), as well as author Michael Morpurgo, rugby player Sam Warburton, author Jilly Cooper, and Sheffield Council's Anne Shaw.

After receiving the honor from William, the former Beatle joked that he would wear the insignia "at breakfast." As for his new "sir" title, the musician joked, "It's new, and I don't know how to use it properly. But I expect you to use it."

Ringo was recognized for his contributions to the music industry after working alongside his Beatles bandmates Paul McCartney, John Lennon, and George Harrison for many years. "It's an honor and a pleasure to be considered and acknowledged for my music and my charity work, both of which I love," Ringo said of the honor in December. Fun fact: Paul was also knighted by Queen Elizabeth II back in March 1997.

Ever Hear of Operation London Bridge? It's Code For a Major Royal Event

If you've ever wondered what happens when Queen Elizabeth II dies, then you're not alone. Although it is a morbid thought and many Brits (and Americans, for that matter) believe in the "Long live the Queen!" chant, one day the current monarch will pass away, and when she does, Operation London Bridge goes into full effect!

We know what you're thinking: what on earth is Operation London Bridge? The good news is we actually know what this relatively secret operation is and what happens when it is put into motion, and of course we're giving you the breakdown to help you keep calm and carry on.

When King George VI (Queen Elizabeth's father) died, he had a code phrase to signal that he was gone but not to alert the people of Britain right away. It was "Hyde Park Corner," and the current monarch, aka the queen, will have one of her own when the time comes. According to The Guardian, it is "London Bridge is down," and the first person of political clout to be called and told the code phrase will be the prime minister, after the queen's private secretary, Sir Christopher Geidt.

The words, although simple and seemingly harmless, will signify that the queen has passed away and will then launch the rest of the royal family and the powers in politics to put into action Operation London Bridge, The Independent reported last year. This operation will eventually lead to the queen's funeral, and even though it'll be a sad day, it's one that everyone in the queen's circle is prepared for . . . at least when it comes to the plan of execution.

After the prime minister is notified, the Foreign Office's Global Response Centre (which is in an undisclosed area of London) will tell the 15 governments that the queen also rules. It will then spread to 36 other nations of the Commonwealth to which Her Majesty has been a symbolic figurehead.

The world leaders, ambassadors, governors general, and more are then notified. Only then does the news spread to the general public through a newsflash to the Press Association and global media outlets. It will hit the presses through BBC first when it comes to media outlets in the UK, because it is always the first to learn of royal deaths. At the same moment that it hits the presses, the announcement will be posted outside of Buckingham Palace - on the gates - keeping with tradition.

According to reports, there are numerous publications that already have stories about the queen's death ready to go, and they even have royal experts on contract to speak about the occasion. Once all of these things take place, Britain will go into mourning. Prince Charles will become King Charles beginning the next morning at 11 a.m., and the UK will have a very different head of the country.

"It will be 10 days of sorrow and spectacle in which, rather like the dazzling mirror of the monarchy itself, we will revel in who we were and avoid the question of what we have become," The Guardian reported.

What's even more interesting is that before the queen is officially laid to rest and buried, her coffin will "lie in state" for four full days. The funeral is set for 12 days after her death and will take place at Westminster Abbey. Talk about a whirlwind!

While Operation London Bridge is most likely the plan of action when Her Majesty passes, Buckingham Palace hasn't commented on The Guardian's story, nor has it laid out funeral plans for when it happens . . . at least not publicly.

17 Photos of Elvis and Priscilla Presley That Will Have You Humming "Love Me Tender"

Elvis Presley was a rock 'n' roll superstar by the time he met 14-year-old Priscilla Ann Wagner Beaulieu during a party at his home in Bad Nauheim, Germany. Despite being 10 years her senior, the two struck up a close friendship that, over time, blossomed into love. In May 1967, when Priscilla was 21, they tied the knot in a 10-minute ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas; photos from their laid-back wedding would go on to become some of the most iconic images of the couple (if not only because of Priscilla's bangin' hair and makeup).

In February 1968, nine months to the day of their wedding, Elvis and "Cilla" welcomed their first and only child, Lisa Marie. Elvis was, by all accounts, a doting and loving dad who spoiled his little girl rotten. But plagued by the singer's drug addiction and infidelity, the relationship began to crumble. The couple separated in early 1972, and their divorce was finalized in October 1973. The 72-year-old actress opened up about her decision to split from Elvis in a 2016 interview, revealing that they "truly lived in a bubble" and that she "just kind of followed what he did." "I needed to find out what the world was like," Priscilla said. "I didn't really know who I was." The two still had a lot of love for each other, though - they even left the courthouse holding hands. Look back on Elvis and Priscilla's nostalgic relationship in these sweet photos.

Ellen Pompeo on Those Grey's Anatomy Exits: "Don't Pit Women Against Each Other"

This week, Ellen Pompeo aka TV's highest-paid actress stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to discuss her monumental career as Grey's Anatomy's title character, Meredith Grey. Pompeo talked a lot about her interview with The Hollywood Reporter, in which she recalls the moment she realized she was making less than her male costar, despite being the show's most crucial character. "I think there are certain moments where it's important to be really truthful about our pain, and about our struggles," she said. "Sometimes, you have to go through painful things to be an example."

During the chat, Pompeo also addressed the brewing drama surrounding a recent Grey's Anatomy announcement that not one but two fan favorites will leave at the end of season 14: Sarah Drew and Jessica Capshaw, who play April and Arizona. Statements from the cast and crew insisted it was a creative decision, but many fans seemed to believe that Drew and Capshaw are leaving to help cover Pompeo's high salary. The star immediately responded to the rumors on Twitter, saying they are entirely untrue. On Ellen, Pompeo doubled down again.

"It's absolutely not true. I mean, I'm not involved in these kinds of decisions," Pompeo told DeGeneres. Instead, she blamed the exits on the characters, saying that the writers had run out of stories for April and Arizona. "It's always sad when we lose people, for whatever reason. Whether they want to go or they don't want to go, it doesn't make it any easier." Pompeo concluded, saying, "It's important for us to not pit women against each other and to really dispel the notion that women are always victims . . . we're very strong, and we're capable of many, many things." And you know, that's totally fair. I still don't want April to die, though. Just saying.

The Details Surrounding Elvis Presley's Death Will Still Upset You Nearly 40 Years Later

It's hard to believe it's been nearly 41 years since Elvis Presley died. The rock and roll legend was just 42 years old when he tragically passed away on Aug. 16, 1977. Elvis was in one of the bathrooms of his Graceland mansion in Memphis, TN, when he suffered a heart attack and collapsed on the floor at approximately 2 p.m. He was later found face down in front of the toilet and rushed to Baptist Memorial Hospital, where doctors tried to resuscitate him. After several failed attempts, Elvis was pronounced dead an hour later and his body was shipped to the morgue, where an autopsy was conducted that same afternoon.

Just three days later, a coroner's report was released, revealing that Elvis's cause of death was "hypertensive cardiovascular disease with atherosclerotic heart disease," also known as a heart attack. However, two months later, a toxicology report found 14 drugs in Elvis's system, including morphine, methaqualone, and codeine at 10 times the therapeutic drug level. Elvis's personal doctor, Dr. George Nichopoulos, remained adamant that Elvis died from natural causes and not a drug overdose, but because of the toxicology report results, the Tennessee Board of Health began an investigation into Elvis's death and Dr. Nichopoulos.

Once the investigation was complete, evidence showed that Dr. Nichopoulos wrote Elvis prescriptions for at least 8,805 pills, tablets, vials, and injectables from January 1977 to August 1977. Dr. Nichopoulos claimed he only did so because Elvis was hooked on painkillers, and therefore this was the only way to keep him away from other dangerous drugs. In 1980, he was charged with prescribing excessive amounts of drugs to Elvis and other patients. He was later acquitted of all charges, but in 1995, the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners revoked his medical license. He later passed away at age 88 in February 2016.

While Elvis's official cause of death was ruled a heart attack, there are still several theories surrounding his death. One of them is that he's not actually dead and that he faked his own death in order to live a private life. In fact, some people claim to have spotted him at his 82nd birthday celebration in Graceland earlier this year, and there's even a Facebook group dedicated to keeping track of all of his reported sightings. No matter what you believe, the one thing we can all agree on is that Elvis was an icon who died too soon.
