Beyoncé Just Made a Target Run Look Like a Red Carpet Event - and Scene!
Beyoncé may enjoy shopping for too-good-to-be-true bargains at Target just like the rest of us, but she doesn't necessarily dress like the chain store's typical clientele. While most of us wear sweats or an old pair of leggings when we head to the mega-retailer, the songstress managed to make a low-key Target run look like a red carpet event. Queen Bey perused the store's aisles in an off-the-shoulder polka dot top by Self Portrait ($410), cuffed boyfriend jeans, and a pair of sleek sunglasses.
But it was her fancy footwear that really stole the show. While daughter Blue Ivy smartly opted for a pair of comfy New Balance sneakers for the shopping trip, Beyoncé teetered around in a pair of red high heels that featured feather embellishments at the back. If you are as obsessed with the whimsical shoes as we are, shop our roundup of red feathered footwear, below.

13 Beauty Problems Only Half-Asian, Half-Caucasian Women Will Understand
Growing up as hapa - meaning "mixed race" in Hawaii and half-Asian, half-white in my circles - comes with its own set of problems. I'm not just talking about when I had to check "other" under the race box during standardized tests: I'm talking about beauty problems. There are many misconceptions when it comes to being hapa, and I'm here to set the record straight.
A little background: my father is Chinese, and my mother is Irish, and I've found it difficult to find the balance between being too white and too Asian. There were only about five Asians in my entire graduating high school class, and because of the lack of diversity, I thought you had to be blond and Caucasian to be beautiful. When I got to college, Asian students made up about 40 percent of the student population. Although it was great to see more diversity on campus, I didn't feel like I fit in with that cultural group either. After a lot of soul (and family-tree) searching, I really started to embrace being biracial. How lucky am I that I get to feel connected to both my Chinese and Irish side?
Even though I'm so grateful that I get the best of both worlds, there are still day-to-day annoyances, from finding the right makeup to having strangers tell you the most absurd and ignorant things. I'm sure you can relate to at least one of these beauty struggles.
This Smurf-Blue Mask Will Transform the Texture of Your Skin
The volatile weather in New York City is wreaking havoc on my complexion; I've been breaking out in small bumps, and my normally well-hydrated skin is developing small dry patches all over. I turned to the Sephora Beauty Insider Community to see if I could find a solution to my troubled skin and saw that many people were suggesting the Herbivore Blue Tansy Resurfacing Clarity Mask ($48).
The mask contains blue tansy oil (Moroccan chamomile), a strong anti-inflammatory that soothes irritated and red skin - something most of us could really use during the harsh Winter months. However, the real heroes in this azure elixir are the white willow bark and fruit enzymes. White willow bark is a natural beta hydroxy acid, a chemical exfoliant more commonly known as salicylic acid. This ingredient smooths the texture of your skin and battles acne. The fruit enzymes act as a natural alpha hydroxy acid, which helps to exfoliate and resurface your skin.
I decided to give the mask a try and spread the gel-like product over my freshly washed skin. After leaving it on for 15 minutes and experiencing a light tingling sensation, I rinsed my face. I continued to use the mask every other day for a week and was amazed by how quickly it improved my weather-worn skin. After experiencing these impressive results, the mask has become a must have in my medicine cabinet each time my complexion becomes irritated.
This $40 Flat Iron Is a Bestseller on Amazon - Just Ask the 30,000 Reviewers Who Love It
Finding high-quality heating tools that don't cost a fortune is no easy feat. That's where this HSI Professional Glider Flat Iron ($40) comes in. It's a bestselling beauty product on Amazon, and for good reason. Over 30,000 customers have reviewed it, and 70 percent of them gave the product five stars - that's insanely good.
The iron even comes with a heat-protecting glove, travel bag, and argan oil. Buyers say that their tresses are left incredibly shiny and smooth. "High quality ceramic plates use eight HeatBalance micro-sensors to regulate the temperature and evenly distribute heat so fewer passes are needed on your precious hair," the product description states.
The straightener can get as hot as 450 degrees, and the one-inch plate is skinny enough to work with any hair length. You can even use it on bangs.
"In love with this flat iron!" one reviewer said. "Even my hair stylist wanted to steal it. The packaging was elegant and detailed, I loved every aspect of it. I've had it for the last month and it's been nothing short of perfect, it even makes these amazing curls!"

9 Cannabis Skincare Products Guaranteed to Make Your Skin Dope
If you haven't heard about CBD in skin care, get ready to. Topicals using cannabis are being used for everything from muscle pain to acne, and there are results to back their efficacy. Clinical research by the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology and the National Center for Biotechnology Information show evidence that cannabinoids have antiaging and antioxidant properties. These studies also confirm that cannabinoids are responsible for lipid production and, therefore, for regulating conditions such as dry skin or acne.
So if you're looking to incorporate CBD into your skin routine, where should you start?
First of all: not all products calling themselves "CBD skin care" are the same. Some products only use hemp oil, which is legal in all 50 states. Others use pure CBD oil, which has even more medicinal properties, but no psychoactive effects (read: it won't get you high). Others contain THC and/or are transdermal, which means they cross the skin barrier to enter your system and will make you feel high. I've tried to clarify which is which for each product, but all the items I've included here are on the more medicinal end, and you'll need to live in a state where it's legal to purchase them.
These are my picks for some natural vegan cannabis skincare products to get you started.
8 Great Moisturizers That Are Positively Packed With Good Stuff
As temperatures drop, air humidity takes a significant dip and, combined with cold winds, hot showers, and indoor heaters, can cause skin to become red, parched, and itchy (ouch!).
"If there is enough inflammation and compromise to the skin barrier, eczema can also be triggered or worsen. It's important that a Winter regimen focus not only on moisturizing, but keeping the skin barrier healthy," says Dr. Melissa Kanchanapoomi Levin, a board-certified dermatologist in NYC.
The key to treating dry skin in the Winter comes down to two ingredient categories: occlusives and humectants.
"Occlusives are ingredients that coat the skin's surface to prevent water from evaporating from the skin's surface, similar to plastic wrap," Dr. Kanchanapoomi Levin explains. "Examples of occlusives are petrolatum, oils, lanolin, and silicones. Humectants are ingredients that bind water and draw water into themselves and onto the surface of the skin, causing the skin to plump up a little bit. Common humectants are glycerin, propylene glycol, urea, and hyaluronic acid."
Click through for eight hydrating creams that contain some of these hero ingredients and beyond for getting back on the moisture track.
7 Halal Nail Polishes That Are Changing the Game For Muslim Women
Fashion brands are finally recognizing the buying power of millennial Muslim women; some are even catering to the market by introducing hijab clothing lines. The beauty industry has also taken notice, and there's been a bit of a revolutionary progression with nail polishes that has changed the game completely for Muslim women.
If you have no idea what I'm talking about, let me break down what nail polish can possibly have to do with being a Muslim. In the religion of Islam, followers are to pray five times a day, and the first step in praying is ablution or cleansing oneself thoroughly with water. Water is unable to permeate traditional nail polish, and because it creates a barrier, the nails aren't considered clean enough to pray with. Therefore, the majority of Muslim women who pray regularly tend to refrain from using any type of nail polish.
Halal nail polish formula is water- and air-permeable, making it much easier for women to perform ablution and prayers. This development has been a real game changer for Muslim women across the globe!
Check out the latest brands making headway with new technologies that are allowing Muslim women to finally get their nails done.
We're Bitten - Oops - We Mean Smitten With Beyoncé's Drastic Dark Lipstick
As the world continues to be transfixed by the ongoing investigation into which actress bit Beyoncé at a recent party, another mystery is consuming us: what lipstick does she wear? I Finally Found the 1 Acne Spot Treatment That Works on My Problematic Skin
I've suffered from hormonal cystic acne since I hit puberty, and those huge, painful, and embarrassing blemishes have never stopped stressing me out. Finally, after 15 years and the help of a dermatologist, I have clear skin. But that doesn't mean I don't suffer from a breakout every now and then. I often feel those pesky, painful pimples under my skin before they're even noticeable, and I want to fight them before they get bigger. From the classic myth of using toothpaste as a spot treatment to rubbing a piece of aspirin on my skin (I know, but I was desperate at the time), these kooky hacks never did it for me. Then, a little over a year ago, I found a spot treatment product that finally does what it promises to: Mario Badescu Drying Lotion ($17).
I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but I discovered this amazing product by watching Kylie Jenner's Snapchat. (This was before the launch of her own cosmetic line, when she used to show more of her own skincare routine.) Little did I know that the small pink bottle was a total cult classic. I went and bought it immediately. That night before bed, I followed the instructions and used a cotton swab to dab the pink lotion on every little bump I could find. I woke up the next day and there was no trace of the lotion or of a blemish. At last, a product that I saw results with. I've been addicted ever since.
If you're wondering what makes this treatment so special, it's the pink substance itself: the calamine lotion. (Yes, that's the same lotion that you may have used if you've ever suffered from poison ivy or insect bites as a kid.) This soothing lotion is mixed with acne-fighting ingredients like salicylic acid and sulfur, which work together to dry out clogged pores, kill bacteria, and diminish your spots. If you've been searching for the right spot treatment for you, this one is definitely worth a try.

4 Steps to Fuss-Free Curls, From a Curly Haired Stylist
Now more than ever, women are embracing their natural curl pattern. We've gotten rid of the poker-straight hair and bounced back into style with our luscious curls . . . finally! We're not just talking about one particular curl pattern; we're talking about tightly wound, free-flowing, playfully wavy curls that are full of life, color, and you know, frizz.
As a hairstylist and curly girl myself, I still struggle with frizz. There's nothing wrong with slightly unkempt hair if styled correctly. So what's the secret? Styling your hair when it's sopping wet. Yup, dripping wet. Here are a few foolproof tips from a pro that'll give you a fuss-free look whether your hair is tightly coiled or loosely waved.
Step 1: Success Starts in the Shower
Shampoo and condition hair with sulfate-free products. The ingredient responsible for creating the perfect lather you so desire (sodium laureth sulfate) does not add nutrients to your strands. In fact, it's damaging your hair by stripping away all of its natural oils. Curly hair is drier than any other hair type so retaining moisture is essential to maintaining healthy, shiny looking hair.
Leave in a drop of conditioner to keep it from drying out. To detangle, rake your fingers through your hair; or invest in a Wet Brush ($18) to help detangle without destroying strands. Squeeze out excess moisture, but don't towel-dry.
Step 2: Prep Like a Pro
The next step is the most crucial part of curly hair success, so listen up. While your hair is dripping wet, apply your antifrizz products. Today's style groomers are so lightweight that they give a springiness to your curls without heaviness, which is always a great thing. These products are some of the best on the market, and I recommend them to clients all the time.
- For naturally wavy hair, choose a curl enhancer like Ouidad PlayCurl Curl Amplifying Foam ($26)
- For thick, curly hair, try Ouidad Climate Control Humidity Gel ($26) or Curl Friends High Humidity Gel ($29) paired with DevaCurl SuperCream ($28)
- For fine, curly hair, use Carol's Daughter Mirabelle Plum Styling Mousse ($10) paired with DevaCurl Light Defining Gel ($22)
Step 3: The Set Up
Starting at the crown, gather hair into sections to ensure the product is being evenly distributed. In the palm of your hand, blend equal amounts of each product and finger rake it through curls. Give some sections a calm tug, and let them fall where they will. Twist others tightly into corkscrews or loosely into flowing ribbons if you're feeling fancy - no need to pin or clip, just let it rock out. This method adds more dimension to curls that'll frame your face.
Next, flip head over and pat lightly with a microfiber towel to press out moisture without disturbing freshly styled curls. DO NOT touch hair until it is completely dry. If you diffuse, I recommend only diffusing partially then air-drying the rest - you want your curls to blossom.
Step 4: The Finishing Touches
When hair is completely dry, add a little oil (jojoba, coconut, or sweet almond) to your fingers, and gently break up curls. This will soften hair and add more shine. It's not a comb out, but more of an unfurling. Tresses should look and feel bouncy. Don't use a brush unless you want instant frizz, #Facts.
To revive and add bounce to second- or third-day curls, spritz with a curl renewer, such as John Frieda Curl Reviver ($7).
What Does Laser Hair Removal Really Cost? (It's Worth Every Penny)
Bare skin season is creeping up on us fast, which means that all of our skin clearing, toning, and smoothing starts now. Of all the services needed for a head-to-toe smooth, expect to dish out a pretty penny on laser hair removal. If it's any comfort, know this: not having to shave every day makes it totally worth it. While waxing and other hair removal methods may cost significantly less, you'll see a greater return on your investment if you opt for the longer lasting laser fix.
Andréa and Liza Young, sisters and co-owners of BEAM Laser Spa in New York, shared all the deets on how much you'll need, plus how to save.
1. Expect to Pay Per Part
There's a wide range in pricing between laser hair removal providers. Generally, larger body parts cost more than smaller body parts. This is because larger areas, for example full legs or a man's back, use up more time and more of the consumables needed for treatments. At BEAM, the least expensive area, the upper lip, is $100 per session, while larger areas such as full legs are $600 per session. They also offer packages which give a bit of a price break. Many other established and reputable laser hair removal businesses have similar pricing.
2. Know What You're Paying For
Pricing typically correlates with the overall quality of the service. This encompasses the type of equipment, whether it's purchased new from the manufacturer or from an "underground" (read: black market) source, the amount of training and experience of the providers, and the professionalism of the business. Consumers obviously may not know these factors upfront, but the price will often reflect it - so be cautious if the service seems like a steal.
3. Ways to Save
Most laser businesses offer a price incentive for purchased packages, so look for options that offer at least one session free or a seasonal promotion. At BEAM, packages of six are priced at the cost of five single sessions. After your sixth session, maintenance prices are significantly lower, but it all depends on how often you prefer touch-ups, and you must complete a full series before qualifying for maintenance pricing.
4. If It's Priced Really Low, Proceed With Caution
Sales and promotions per se are not bad, however Andréa and Liza strongly advise against purchasing from providers who offer laser hair removal prices that are on par with waxing services. Lower prices may signal that some corners are being cut. The actual machines may be outdated, the specialists not as thoroughly trained, or worst of all, the sterilization and hygiene practices may not be efficient - scary, and not worth the risks.
Be savvy when choosing a laser hair removal provider, and do not use price as the only deciding factor. Choosing based on price may leave you in an un-established, fly-by-night operation that doesn't have the experience, attention to sterilization, or proper equipment necessary to provide a safe and effective treatment.
5. Put Your Money Where Your Hair Is
Laser hair removal has a much higher return on investment than a lifetime of waxing. Treatments may cost more upfront, but usually pay for themselves in two to three years worth of waxing, making for a smarter investment with longer term results. The average cost of a lifetime of shaving is roughly $10,000, and the average cost of a lifetime of waxing is roughly $23,000, so the numbers speak for themselves.
6. All in Now, No Worries Later
Results are variable when dealing with a biological process, namely body hair growth. Clients may expect 75-80 percent reduction over 6-12 sessions, with some areas needing periodic yearly maintenance. Compare that to the daily hassle of shaving or weekly waxing sessions, and it's pretty much a no-brainer.
The 1 Foundation That Covered My Hives After an Allergic Reaction
A few weeks ago, I had an allergic reaction to a medication and woke up covered in hives from head to toe. I was completely freaked out that my usually clear skin had been taken over by large, red, splotchy bumps. I cried on the phone to my mom, sulked, and hid from the world.
When I realized I could no longer be a hermit (I'm a busy woman!), I panicked. I didn't want anyone, even my roommate, to see me like this. Eventually, I knew I had to stop being dramatic and accept my fate: I had to go out into public. In an effort to look less like a leper, I turned to Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation ($40), which promised to cover hyperpigmentation and redness, and prayed that it would cover my rash.
I grabbed my trusted Beautyblender ($20) and started dotting the liquid on my face, trying not to cry. To my surprise, it completely covered the hundreds of hives that had conquered my complexion. Although I still had a skin texture I can only describe as lumpy, I felt so much better. I thanked the makeup gods (and Huda Kattan) that this had worked, put on a hoodie, and went out in public for the first time in days.
Since then, my hives have thankfully gone away and I am no longer sick. However, my devotion to Huda's foundation is still going strong. The formula is silky-smooth, packed with pigment, and doesn't fade throughout the day. If it can cover hives, it can definitely handle my ordinary breakouts. I recently wore it for a photo shoot, and my skin looks incredible in the photos.
While I hope I never have hives again, at least I now know what product I can turn to in a skin emergency.
15 Quotes That'll Inspire You to Go Makeup Free
The beauty community has certainly made a place for itself on Instagram. Over the years, it's increasingly evolved into a digital wonderland of fierce makeup lewks, product haul videos, shelfies, and tutorials. It's also a space where makeup lovers can convene to sound off, share their thoughts about new launches, or even inspire the rest of the community. Sometimes that means talking about your acne, lamenting about your psoriasis, sharing makeup fails, or baring your naked face to the world in a defiant burst of confidence. And sometimes inspiring others is as simple as dropping a thought-provoking, humorous, or #girlpower-inciting quote about going makeup free.

Jesse McCartney's New Song Will Make You Feel Like It's 2004 Again (No, Really)
Jesse McCartney is back! After four years, the singer and actor returned this week with his new acoustic tune "Better With You" to soothe my (ahem . . . beautiful) soul all over again. He's been known for his catchy pop songs since his career started in the late '90s (never forget those Dream Street days), and his comeback proves that McCartney still knows what works: romance.
McCartney revealed in a recent interview with Paper that this new single is most reminiscent of his fan-favorite "Beautiful Soul" and has a "nostalgic sound." While the general theme of his songs stays the same, his music has definitely matured over time. He describes "Better With You" as a "hopeful, uplifting message" - also known as a pop single that I can shamelessly keep on repeat, even as an adult. Someone call my 2004 self, because she's going to want to hear this.

The Details of Sharon Tate's Gruesome Murder Will Stick With You in the Worst Possible Way
Actress Sharon Tate was only 26 years old when her life and career were tragically cut short in one of the most brutal murders in Hollywood history. On Aug. 8, 1969, the stunning Valley of the Dolls star - who was married to film director Roman Polanski and eight and a half months pregnant with their son - was spending time with friends at 10050 Cielo Drive, the secluded home she and Roman shared in LA's Benedict Canyon. Roman was off in London filming The Day of the Dolphin, so he asked their close pals Wojciech Frykowski and Folger's Coffee heiress Abigail Folger to stay at the house with his pregnant wife until he flew back to LA on Aug. 12. The trio had dinner at Sharon's favorite restaurant, El Coyote, along with celebrity hairstylist Jay Sebring. They returned to the house around 10:30 p.m.
Shortly after midnight on Aug. 9, the house was broken into by four members of Charles Manson's "family": Tex Watson, Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Linda Kasabian, who were instructed by the cult leader to go to "that house where [record producer Terry Melcher] used to live" (Manson, a wannabe rock star, had tried unsuccessfully to get a record deal from Melcher, who used to rent the house on Cielo Drive) and "totally destroy everyone in [it], as gruesome as you can." The members followed direction, and what happened next would horrify the seasoned homicide detectives who worked the case.
Watson entered the home and encountered Frykowski, who was sleeping on the living room couch. He immediately kicked him in the head, and when Frykowski asked who he was and what he was doing there, Watson said, "I'm the devil, and I'm here to do the devil's business." He forced the others into the room and tied Tate and Sebring together by their necks with rope, slinging it over the ceiling beams. When Sebring protested the rough treatment of pregnant Tate, Watson shot him. As Folger and Frykowski were repeatedly stabbed - 28 and 51 times, respectively - Tate was inside, pleading with the deranged murderers to be allowed to live and give birth to her baby; she even offered herself as a hostage. While it isn't known whether Watson or Atkins killed Tate, she was stabbed 16 times while allegedly crying out, "Mother . . . mother . . . "
As they left for Cielo Drive that day, Manson told Atkins and Krenwinkle, both just 21 years old, to "leave a sign . . . something witchy" after the murders. Using a towel, Atkins wrote "pig" on the front door of the house in Tate's blood. The bodies were discovered by Tate's housekeeper, Winifred Chapman, as she arrived at the home for work. Tate was found on her left side in the fetal position, wearing a floral bra and matching underwear. The white nylon rope was around her neck, and still tied to Sebring, who lay about four feet away. There was an X cut onto her stomach. At the time of her horrific and infamous death, Tate was a wife, an expectant mother, and one of Hollywood's most promising rising stars.
Roseanne: The Mind-Blowing Connection DJ's Wife Has to the Original Series
The Roseanne reboot is paying tribute to the original in more ways than one. In case you weren't aware, DJ Conner (Michael Fishman) is all grown up and married in the revival. He also has a biracial daughter, played by 8-year-old Jayden Rey, but details about her mother have mostly been kept under wraps. In the premiere episode, however, we are given a major clue about DJ's wife that will make fans of the original series want to stick around for future episodes.
For starters, we learn that DJ has served in the army in Syria when Jackie (Laurie Metcalf) welcomes him back home and thanks him for his service. She also asks him about his wife, who it's revealed is still serving overseas. Later on, Roseanne (Roseanne Barr) casually mentions DJ's wife, Geena, during prayer. If you remember the classic 1994 episode "White Men Can't Kiss" from the original Roseanne, then that name should ring a bell.
The plot revolves around younger DJ feeling conflicted about participating in a school play because he's uncomfortable kissing his black classmate, played by Rae'Ven Larrymore Kelly. Guess what her name is? Geena Williams! Whitney Cummings, executive producer and co-showrunner for the show, recently confirmed that the character is in fact an homage to the original. "One of my favorite episodes of the show was when DJ wouldn't kiss the girl at the school play, so imagine my delight when we decided that once they became adults, DJ married her," she wrote introducing their daughter, Mary Conner (Rey).
This time around, Geena will be played by The Mindy Project's Xosha Roquemore. The Easter egg is a sweet way to bridge the gap between fans who watched the original and newer viewers who will be delighted to embrace the storyline of an interracial marriage and biracial child on TV. Way to go, Roseanne!
Roseanne Barr's Political Views Aren't as Simple as You Think
No one can accuse Roseanne Barr of not being an original. The woman went from creating a trailblazing, feminist comedy in the form of Roseanne to running for president to rebooting that same sitcom, but this time with her lead character as a staunch Donald Trump supporter.
In the premiere of the reboot, Roseanne Conner declares that she voted for Trump because he promised jobs. It's a moment that's meant to showcase the point of view of white, working-class Americans, but it focuses on the economy while ignoring Trump's polarizing social views. Is Roseanne Barr, the fiery supporter of women's and gay rights in the '90s, truly a Republican? If that question were easy to answer, then it wouldn't be about Roseanne.
One thing is certain: she's definitely a Trump supporter. Roseanne hasn't been shy about discussing the fact that she voted for the president in the 2016 election. During the show's recent panel at the Television Critics Association tour, she reportedly said he was "the lesser of two evils," according to IndieWire. She also admitted that she doesn't always agree with his point of view, but ultimately she wanted Roseanne the character to continue to reflect the working-class people - many of whom voted for Trump.
However, Roseanne isn't so quick to label herself a Republican. When she ran for president in 2012, the actor ran first as part of the Green party before switching to the Peace and Freedom party. When she talks about politics, she often speaks of the need for people to take a middle-of-the-road approach. According to Just Jared, in December she tweeted, "When the narrative gets too righty, run to the middle. When the narrative gets too lefty, run to the middle. HOW TO SAVE AMERICA. you're welcome! #MiddleWay."
In the same series of tweets, Roseanne also wrote,
"4 those who wonder-back in the day when I was called a 'liberal' by journalists, I used to answer - 'I'm not a Liberal, I'm a radical' & I still am - I voted Trump 2 shake up the status quo & the staid establishment"
During a 2016 interview with the Los Angeles Times, Roseanne shared that she grew up in a household of socialists. Yes, socialists. And her family's tendency to talk passionately about politics has remained with her. In the same interview, she even accused Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders of borrowing heavily from her presidential campaign - namely her socialist leanings. As far as she was concerned then and now, she would make a better president than any of them. It's a bold statement, but not a surprising one coming from the always opinionated actor.
Much like her personality, Roseanne's political beliefs can't be summed up neatly as either Republican or Democrat. She seems to see herself as a true radical . . . just one who happened to vote for Trump.
Angelina Jolie Reportedly Has a New Man in Her Life Following Brad Pitt Split
Angelina Jolie is reportedly dating again following her split from Brad Pitt in September 2016. According to Entertainment Tonight, the actress is "seeing a handsome, older-looking man who is a real estate agent." While he isn't "a celebrity or high profile in any way," Angelina is choosing to keep their romance low-key. "Angie was in a very bad place after [her] split [from Brad]," a source told the publication. "Just having another adult to spend time with has been helpful."
However, another source tells People that Angelina isn't ready to jump back into the dating pool just yet. "She is absolutely not seeing anyone and will not be," the insider said. "She will focus only on their children and being with them. She has no interest in dating at all."
While it's unclear if Angelina has moved on with another man, Brad is also seeing other people. Though he's very private about his love life, the actor is reportedly casually dating women who aren't in the public eye. Even though Brad and Angelina aren't in serious relationships at the moment, it's highly unlikely the former couple will ever reconcile. "People talk about them reuniting, but it will never happen," the source added. "Things between Brad and Angie really ended poorly, and while they've attempted therapy with the [six] children [they share], they can barely be in the same room together."
The couple threw everyone for a loop when Angelina filed for divorce after 11 years of being together. Since then, the actress has been throwing herself into her work and keeping her children close. Aside from gushing about motherhood in interviews, Angelina has brought her six children along for various events within the past year.
Age Investigation: How Old Is the Cast of Roseanne?
When a show comes back after 20 years off the air, you might expect things to look quite a bit different. But when Roseanne returned to ABC for the first time since 1997, it was kind of spooky how little everything had changed.
The set was able to be re-created - because obviously the set designers are amazing - and the old love-with-a-side-of-sarcasm wit was in abundance. But the actors have barely changed either. Sure, some of the older cast members, like Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, and Laurie Metcalf, are getting on into their 60s. But Sara Gilbert, Lecy Goranson, and Sarah Chalke look like they've hardly aged a day, and Michael Fishman has only changed because he's grown about two feet since the show went off the air.
So in case you're curious, here is how old the cast of Roseanne is in real life.
Wow, Sara Gilbert Has Been Crazy-Busy Since Roseanne Ended
Roseanne returned to the air on Tuesday with two back-to-back episodes titled "Twenty Years to Life" and "Dress to Impress," both of which were strong offerings - it really feels as though the show didn't miss a step in the 20 years since it went off the air.
For those of you who are either new to Roseanne or were perhaps wondering how it's possible that middle Conner child Darlene looks almost exactly the same two decades later, the actress playing her is in fact Sara Gilbert from the original cast. Gilbert basically broke into show business on Roseanne, which began its original run when she was just 13 years old - but what a breakout role. The show was heralded with both big ratings and critical acclaim and earned Gilbert two Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
After Roseanne went off the air in 1997, Gilbert was a bit quiet on the acting scene for a while, appearing in smaller roles in the films High Fidelity and Riding in Cars With Boys and in the TV show 24. Then, in 2004, she landed a recurring role on ER, which she followed up with a recurring role on her Roseanne costar Johnny Galecki's hit sitcom, The Big Bang Theory.
Since 2010, she has been one of five cohosts on CBS's daytime show The Talk, which she also created and executive produces. And the Roseanne revival is largely due to Gilbert staging a mini reunion with TV dad John Goodman on her talk show. It went so well and got such a positive response that it snowballed into a revival that features the entire original cast.
But never one to be too "idle," Gilbert is pulling triple duty on TV this Spring. In addition to Roseanne and The Talk, she is also appearing in a recurring role on Living Biblically, the new CBS sitcom executive produced by Galecki. Gilbert and Galecki famously are very good friends off screen; he will be making an appearance in one Roseanne episode this Spring as Darlene's estranged husband, David Healy.
While the two did date briefly at one time, Gilbert has been married to Linda Perry (yes, the lead singer of 4 Non Blondes) since 2014, giving birth to their daughter in 2015; she also has two children from her previous relationship with Allison Adler. And, fun fact: Gilbert's older half-sister is Melissa Gilbert of Little House on the Prairie fame.
Chrissy Teigen Is Officially Consumed by the Mystery of Who Bit Beyoncé: "It's Not Me, Is It?"
Much like the rest of the world, Chrissy Teigen is fascinated with the ongoing investigation into which actress bit Beyoncé's face at a recent party. Unlike most people, however, Chrissy knows exactly who it is. After Tiffany Haddish shared the unbelievable anecdote in an interview with GQ, Chrissy did a little sleuthing on her own and has since confirmed that she has cracked the case, tweeting, "My initial guess was wrong."
The topic naturally came up again when the 32-year-old multihyphenate appeared on NBC's Today. After confirming that the bite did indeed take place, Chrissy said, "Listen, I think we've all done things under the influence." She went on to stress that the culprit caught her by surprise: "It's not who I thought, I will say. The problem is, I love everybody involved so I'm like zipped."
Though she wouldn't divulge who did it, Chrissy joked that she started to get paranoid and wonder if she herself bit Beyoncé. "If I had a dollar for every time that I had a few glasses of wine or something and would have done something like that," Chrissy said. "I asked John [Legend] yesterday, I was like, 'It's not me, is it?'" Watch the hysterical interview above.
Riverdale's Upcoming Musical Episode About Carrie Already Sounds Bloody Brilliant
Have you secretly been missing Archie Andrews's jam sessions on Riverdale this season? Well, you're in luck, because the series is dedicating an entire episode to music. Following in the footsteps of other popular CW shows like Supergirl and The Flash, the drama is getting its very own musical episode. And that's not even the best part! The episode, titled "A Night to Remember," will have a horror twist, as the Riverdale High drama department puts on Carrie: The Musical for their Spring production. See the details we have about the episode below, including quotes about what's to come, straight from the cast.
1. The Cast
While Archie and Betty will take on the roles of Tommy Ross and Sue Snell, Cheryl will star as the one and only Carrie White. Honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way. Not to mention, Alice Cooper will be playing her controlling mother, Mrs. White! The show's executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa gave a sneak peek at the rest of the cast list on Twitter.
Dream episode of #Riverdale coming up! "CARRIE: The Musical" is happening!!! pic.twitter.com/sn80HFLzfv
- RobertoAguirreSacasa (@WriterRAS) January 24, 2018
2. The Music
The special episode will feature 11 songs performed by the cast. Sadly, Jughead will not be lending his voice for the production. During a press screening, executive producer Aguirre-Sacasa confirmed that Cole Sprouse would not be singing in the episode.
3. It's a "Tragedy"
During PaleyFest, the cast revealed there is plenty of drama in store. "The drama of this episode is . . . more than just a drama," KJ Apa (Archie) explained to us during an interview. "It's a tragedy. It's a true tragedy." Sprouse reiterated Apa's sentiments, adding that the episode would be a bit of an emotional roller coaster. "I like this episode because it's jovial and it can be fun, and it can be a breath of fresh air for people who have been watching a debilitating series of events for these characters," he said. "But we still find a way to pick you up and slam you back down."
4. There Will Be Blood
It certainly sounds like our favorite characters will be put through the ringer. Even though it's a "light, musical episode," Marisol Nichols (Hermione) told us on the PaleyFest red carpet that "the characters are going to fall from grace" and "redeem themselves" during the episode. "And it's Carrie," she added. "At the end of the day, you're going to see a bucket full of blood. I don't think it gets more tragic that."
5. The Air Date
You can catch all the fun when the episode airs on April 18.
Claire Foy Says She's "Not Surprised" by The Crown's Gender Pay Gap Controversy
The Queen has spoken, and she doesn't sound pleased.
Claire Foy, leading lady of The Crown, has finally broken her silence regarding the recent gender pay gap controversy involving her and onscreen husband Matt Smith, who it was revealed was paid more for season one of the Netflix royal drama by the producers of the show earlier this month.
"I'm surprised because I'm at the center of it, and anything that I'm at the center of like that is very, very odd, and feels very, very out of ordinary," the Unsane actress said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. "But I'm not [surprised about the interest in the story] in the sense that it was a female-led drama. I'm not surprised that people saw [the story] and went, 'Oh, that's a bit odd.' But I know that Matt feels the same that I do, that it's odd to find yourself at the center [of a story] that you didn't particularly ask for."
Apparently Smith was offered more going into the first season due to his Doctor Who fame, but producer Suzanne Mackie said it was a mistake that won't soon be repeated, noting that "Going forward, no one gets paid more than the queen." Despite that admission, the news quickly went viral, and Left Bank pictures - which produces The Crown and is in charge of negotiating salaries - issued an apology to both Foy and Smith for getting them involved in "a media storm" they never asked to be a part of.
Foy's season one costar Jared Harris slammed the controversy as "an embarrassment" for Left Bank, and a petition calling for Smith to donate his salary to Time's Up was even started after news of the gender pay gap went public. Fortunately it seems the production company is attempting to make amends for their sexist mistake.
"We understand and appreciate the conversation which is rightly being played out across society and we are absolutely united with the fight for fair pay, free of gender bias and for a rebalancing of the industry's treatment of women, both those in front of the camera and for those behind the scenes," the company explained in their apology. "We all have a responsibility to do what we can to ensure that these issues are tackled, and as a leading production company we want to make our contribution to the debate. So, we are now going to be in talks with the TimesUp UK campaign and ERA 50:50; organizations which are working to ensure all women have a voice."
Here's Exactly How Dan's "Silly" Death Is Addressed in the Roseanne Reboot
Light spoilers for Roseanne below, if you're worried about that kind of thing!
The Roseanne reboot already had people talking when photos were released from the set that seemed to confirm John Goodman would reprise his role as Dan Conner, but the details of exactly how the show would address Dan's resurrection after killing off his character in the original series finale was kept under wraps . . . until now. After watching the premiere episode, we can confirm exactly how Roseanne addresses what Goodman once referred to as the "silly" and "irrelevant" death of his beloved character.
To refresh your memory, Dan suffers a fatal heart attack at Darlene (Sara Gilbert) and David's (Johnny Galecki) wedding in season nine of the show. Although he is alive in the 10th and final season (he also has an affair), Roseanne later reveals that Dan was dead all along in the series finale, having passed away from the heart attack.
The elephant in the room is immediately addressed in the first few minutes of the reboot, as we find Roseanne in bed with Dan, who's wearing a CPAP mask. "I thought you were dead!" Roseanne shouts after calling out to him a few times and waking him from his slumber. "I was sleeping! Why does everyone always think I'm dead?" Dan quips, before Roseanne responds, "You looked happy - I thought maybe you moved on."
It all happens in such a casual - yet hilarious - way that it's almost hard to be upset at the writers for bringing him back from the dead in such a nonchalant manner. Sometimes the best way to address an awkward situation is with laughter, and the show does just that with Dan's bizarre death. Later on in the episode, there's another joke made by Dan about how Roseanne's book, which we learn she was writing in the original series finale, would have sold more copies if she wouldn't have killed off the most interesting character.
With the topic of Dan's death out of the way early on, the show is able to dive into touchy subjects like politics, surrogacy, and gender identity and quickly remind us why it was once the show that topped TV's must-watch list.

Bet You Forgot About Angelina Jolie's Other Famous Flings
Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016, and the news was met with millions of dropped jaws (including George Clooney's). While Brad and Angie's romance began on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith back in 2004, the stunning actress has a list of ex-lovers that includes Billy Bob Thornton, Colin Farrell, and model/actress Jenny Shimizu, whom she worked with on the movie Foxfire in 1996. New reports claim that the sultry star is having a low-key romance with a real estate agent, but we're looking back on who Angelina has loved (and lost) over the years.
Will Laura Dern Make a Cameo in Jurassic World 3? Here's What Jeff Goldblum Had to Say
Please never stop talking, Jeff Goldblum. While sitting down on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Monday night, the 65-year-old actor and man of my dreams spoke about the upcoming Jurassic World movie and his role in the trilogy. Yes, trilogy. The second film, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, hits theaters on June 22, and there's still a third in the works! During his appearance on the show, a caller asked about what he's doing in the sequel and if Laura Dern will appear in it as well.
Goldblum and Dern costarred in the original 1993 Jurassic Park movie and then dated from 1995 through 1997. So, will the two appear together again in the third movie, which is set to premiere in 2021? "I can't divulge anything, but maybe, maybe, maybe," he said mysteriously, adding that in the third film, "some people may or may not be in." We're just wondering what's worse: dinosaurs or the suburban mothers of Monterey in Big Little Lies? Watch the clip above to see what Goldblum had to say about his role in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and then check out all the details about the upcoming movie here.
There's a Pretty Horrific True Story Behind Ridley Scott's Chilling New Show, The Terror
The premise for Ridley Scott's new show on AMC, The Terror, is the stuff of frigid nightmares: two technologically advanced Royal Navy ships sail from England to the Arctic in an attempt to finally discover a navigable passage through the Northwest Passage in the 1800s but end up stuck in the North Atlantic, turning their journey into an icy, survivalist hell. Oh, and lest you think it's just a colder version of Master and Commander, there's also a bloodthirsty monster roaming around. See what we mean about nightmares?
While the supernatural twist in The Terror is a haunting one, what's even more, well, terrifying is that the show - which is adapted from Dan Simmons's acclaimed historical novel of the same name - is actually based on a true story. Apparently the truth is not only stranger than fiction, but also far more horrific.
Although the true story of the two ill-fated ships, the H.M.S. Erebus and H.M.S. Terror (most ominous ship names of all time? Jeeze!), lacks the appearance of a vengeful ice monster, they indeed got stuck in the North Atlantic ice in 1845 while on a similar mission to explore the Northwest Passage. Not only that, but the major players are also the same: Captain John Franklin and Francis Crozier, who are portrayed in The Terror by Ciarán Hinds and Jared Harris, were the real leaders of the doomed 19th century sea voyage.
There were 129 members of the expedition, all of whom disappeared virtually without a trace. The only clue as to their whereabouts other than a few skeletons was the wreckage of the two ships, which wasn't actually uncovered until more than 150 years later. Rumors about what could've happened to the men swirled for decades, which is what no doubt inspired Simmons's occult version of the strange tale.
So, what really happened to the men of the H.M.S. Erebus and H.M.S. Terror?
In May of 1845, Franklin and Crozier navigated the two ships from the UK to the Arctic's Northwest Passage along with their officers and crew. Franklin, though respected, was nearing 60 years old and wasn't the Navy's first choice; instead it wanted famed explorer William Parry or Naval officer James Clark Ross, both of whom refused to go. Eventually Franklin was given the post, and Crozier, an officer from Ireland who'd successfully journeyed to Antarctica with Ross, was dubbed his second in command. They were last seen by European whalers in Baffin Bay - an area between Greenland and Canada - awaiting good conditions to enter the Arctic labyrinth, as The Terror notes in its chilling title card. Then they vanished, despite Franklin and Crozier's experience.
Given their high-profile voyage, multiple search parties were sent out when no word had been received from the men by 1847. Over the next 12 years, more expeditions traveled in the Erebus and Terror's footsteps in hopes of finding any scrap of information, with the British government offering significant reward money for anyone who could find them. In 1852, Admiral Edward Belcher's search party on the H.M.S Resolute got stuck in the ice, but it ended up being fortuitous - they found another search party led by Robert McClure, who left on a mission years earlier and was presumed dead. In his attempts to escape the ice and find rescue, McClure accidentally ended up discovering and crossing the Northwest Passage, and when they all made it back to England, he was given a knighthood for his groundbreaking achievement.
Finally, an 1859 search party led by the Irish explorer Francis McClintock and sent by Franklin's second wife, Lady Jane Franklin, discovered a few skeletons of crew members, as well as written accounts of what happened during the expedition up to 1848. You don't need to read it for yourself to deduce that surviving freezing temperatures with a dwindling food supply and no chance of rescue likely made for a harrowing few years.
According to the diary, the ships got stuck in the ice in September 1846, and a little over a year and a half later, Sir Franklin and 23 other men had died. The men who were still alive decided that their best bet was to travel south on foot. The freezing journey proved too difficult, and the remaining men died after resorting to cannibalism. The latter gruesome claim was later supported when Canadian archaeologists stumbled upon the wreck of the Erebus in 2014 while searching for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 in the Queen Maud Gulf and within it found human remains with knife marks on the bones.
As for the Terror, the wreckage was found in 2016, marking 168 years after it set out on its voyage to the Arctic. It was "found in pristine condition at the bottom of an Arctic bay" by a team from the charitable Arctic Research Foundation, according to The Guardian. All three masts were broken but still standing, and almost all the hatches had everything still stowed.
It's an eerie conclusion to the Arctic mystery that had been plaguing archaeologists and historians alike for years. There's still no word on whether or not the remains of a giant, angry Inuit spirit monster were found in the wreckage of either ship, but fortunately that's why we have The Terror. The 10-episode series, which premiered on March 26, promises plenty of gory thrills and chills in your future. You better buckle - and bundle - up.
