As President Donald Trump prepared to take office on Inauguration Day, Barack Obama quietly vacated the West Wing. But Obama left something behind during his exit: a letter, one that traditionally passes between two presidents as the highest office in the land changes hands. "We just went to the Oval Office and found this beautiful letter from President Obama. It was really very nice of him to do that," Trump bragged to the press several days later, adding, "We won't even tell the press what's in that letter."

Trump's Latest Speech Left the Entire Internet Confused as F*ck
On April 2, Melania Trump hosted 2018's annual Easter Egg Roll on the South Lawn of the White House. Just before the festivities got underway, her husband took the floor to address the crowd - and that's when things went from zero to incoherent real quick. Stranger Things Is Teaming Up With Halloween Horror Nights, and I'm Ready to Get SPOOKED
Attention, all Hawkins guys and gals: Universal Studios and Netflix are teaming up to bring us the ultimate Upside Down experience during Halloween Horror Nights. If you're a Stranger Things fanatic who's already digging for season three spoilers, it's time to grab your Eggos and go.
Starting Sept. 14 in Hollywood and Orlando (and Sept. 28 in Singapore) guests will be transported to their favorite locations from the series via mazes such as "the menacing Hawkins National Laboratory, under the U.S. Department of Energy, to the Byers home adorned with an erratic display of flashing Christmas lights and the eerie Upside Down woods oozing a shower of floating orb-like spores," according to the press release. Roseanne: Shameless Isn't the Only Place You've Seen Harris
Roseanne returned to ABC this Spring with record-breaking ratings and lots of old fans excited to see their favorite characters back. However, the original cast may not be the only familiar faces to pop up on your TV screen in the revival.
Harris Conner-Healy, the sassy daughter of Darlene Conner (played by Sara Gilbert) and David Healy (played by Big Bang Theory's Johnny Galecki), may also spark your memory. NBA Analyst Rosalyn Gold-Onwude Launches $1 Million Sports Scholarship For Young Women of Color
NBA analyst Rosalyn Gold-Onwude - affectionately known as "Ros" - is on fire. In addition to landing an international broadcasting gig with Turner Sports and covering NCAA Championship games throughout March Madness, Ros is also making sure to give back to those in need.
As a former member of the Stanford women's basketball team and Pac-10 Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Ros knows a thing or two about owning the court and passing the ball - which is why she recently teamed up with the social-impact nonprofit Kick'n It For a Cause and Yellowbrick to launch a $1 million scholarship program for young minority women who are interested in pursuing careers in the fields of sports, footwear, fashion, and beauty. "We want a hands-on experience where they can also come away with something practical, and we're targeting those that need it most," Ros told POPSUGAR earlier this year.

Its new scholarship initiative promises to ensure that "all students, regardless of their socioeconomic background, can benefit." "I truly believe that a student's personal passion and hustle - rather than financial resources - should determine how far they can go."

The two look so eerily similar that many fans are wondering if they're related in real life. Alas, the answer is no - though that would be super cool if they were.
Gilbert is from a show-business family. Her grandfather Harry Crane was the cocreator of a little show called The Honeymooners, and two of her four older half-siblings, Melissa Gilbert and Jonathan Gilbert, were stars of Little House on the Prairie. She is best known for Roseanne, but Gilbert also appeared on Welcome to New York, ER, and The Big Bang Theory, and she cohosts The Talk on CBS.
Kenney, on the other hand, is the only actor in her immediate family. She burst onto the acting scene at just 12 years old when she was cast as the fourth Gallagher child, Debbie, on Showtime's hit show Shameless. Other than Shameless and Roseanne, Kenney hasn't really been involved in many big projects. She only just turned 18 in 2017, though, so we suspect we'll be seeing this talented young woman for a long time to come.
The Official Westworld Trailer Is a Gory, Deeply Unnerving Look at Season 2
"The reckoning is here."
With that chilling line, the latest trailer for season two of Westworld officially has us on edge. The beautiful but deeply unsettling footage follows the HBO drama's Super Bowl Sunday spot and the first trailer's Comic-Con debut back in 2017. Although the new trailer lacks a stripped-down, piano version of Kanye West's "Runaway" ominously playing in the background like the previous clip, it does give us a glimpse into how Dolores, Teddy, Maeve, and Bernard are dealing with their newfound consciousness and the Man in Black. Spoiler alert: it doesn't look good for the humans.
Between the robot bulls demolishing the theme park's offices (and some unfortunate people inside), some terrifying new "hosts," and Dolores and Teddy murdering some people on horseback (maybe some of the wealthy investors at the party in season one?), it looks like there's definitely going to be enough action to keep us all entertained when the show returns on April 22. Remember Dirty John? The Podcast Is Becoming a TV Show With Eric Bana and Connie Britton
Saying Dirty John transfixed listeners when it was first released last year is a massive understatement. The one-season true-crime podcast followed Debra Newell, a wealthy 59-year-old interior designer, as she fell for John Meehan, a 55-year-old anesthesiologist with a dubious past, a penchant for lying, and a dangerous temper. Due to its immediate popularity, it was later revealed that the podcast would be adapted into a television series. Now, Connie Britton has been announced as its star.
According to Deadline, the 51-year-old Friday Night Lights and Nashville actress will be portraying Newell in the two-season Dirty John series on Bravo. Not only that, but the series has also found its titular Dirty John: King Arthur: Legend of the Sword's Eric Bana! We have no doubt the Australian actor will bring the perfect blend of charm and creepiness to the role. As far as what's happening behind the scenes, the series will be written by Alexandra Cunningham, who previously worked on Desperate Housewives and Rome. Cunningham will also serve as an executive producer alongside Britton.

What We Know About Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston's Apple TV Series
We must have done something good in a past life, because Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston are starring in a TV show together. After a "multiple-outlet bidding war," the series has officially found a home at Apple. And that's not even the best part! The untitled drama, which will reportedly "focus on a New York morning show," has also been picked up for two seasons, with 20 episodes overall.
After "creative differences" with House of Cards producer Jay Carson, Bates Motel's Kerry Ehrin will take over as showrunner, with Witherspoon, Aniston, and Steve Kloves serving as executive producers. Brian Stelter's book, Top of the Morning: Inside the Cutthroat World of Morning TV, will also play a small role in the writing. The series will mark the first time Aniston and Witherspoon - who are close friends IRL - have worked together since the Legally Blonde actress guest-starred on Friends as Rachel Green's sister Jill.
Witherspoon has already made her triumphant return to the small screen with her work in Big Little Lies, which earned her an Emmy nomination for outstanding lead actress. Aniston hasn't been on TV since the end of Friends in 2004, but she told Variety that she's "thought about it a lot. That's where the work is. That's where the quality is. At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time."
Ever Hear of Operation London Bridge? It's Code For a Major Royal Event
If you've ever wondered what happens when Queen Elizabeth II dies, then you're not alone. Although it is a morbid thought and many Brits (and Americans, for that matter) believe in the "Long live the Queen!" chant, one day the current monarch will pass away, and when she does, Operation London Bridge goes into full effect!
We know what you're thinking: what on earth is Operation London Bridge? The good news is we actually know what this relatively secret operation is and what happens when it is put into motion, and of course we're giving you the breakdown to help you keep calm and carry on.
When King George VI (Queen Elizabeth's father) died, he had a code phrase to signal that he was gone but not to alert the people of Britain right away. It was "Hyde Park Corner," and the current monarch, aka the queen, will have one of her own when the time comes. According to The Guardian, it is "London Bridge is down," and the first person of political clout to be called and told the code phrase will be the prime minister, after the queen's private secretary, Sir Christopher Geidt.
The words, although simple and seemingly harmless, will signify that the queen has passed away and will then launch the rest of the royal family and the powers in politics to put into action Operation London Bridge, The Independent reported last year. This operation will eventually lead to the queen's funeral, and even though it'll be a sad day, it's one that everyone in the queen's circle is prepared for . . . at least when it comes to the plan of execution.
After the prime minister is notified, the Foreign Office's Global Response Centre (which is in an undisclosed area of London) will tell the 15 governments that the queen also rules. It will then spread to 36 other nations of the Commonwealth to which Her Majesty has been a symbolic figurehead.
The world leaders, ambassadors, governors general, and more are then notified. Only then does the news spread to the general public through a newsflash to the Press Association and global media outlets. It will hit the presses through BBC first when it comes to media outlets in the UK, because it is always the first to learn of royal deaths. At the same moment that it hits the presses, the announcement will be posted outside of Buckingham Palace - on the gates - keeping with tradition.
According to reports, there are numerous publications that already have stories about the queen's death ready to go, and they even have royal experts on contract to speak about the occasion. Once all of these things take place, Britain will go into mourning. Prince Charles will become King Charles beginning the next morning at 11 a.m., and the UK will have a very different head of the country.
"It will be 10 days of sorrow and spectacle in which, rather like the dazzling mirror of the monarchy itself, we will revel in who we were and avoid the question of what we have become," The Guardian reported.
What's even more interesting is that before the queen is officially laid to rest and buried, her coffin will "lie in state" for four full days. The funeral is set for 12 days after her death and will take place at Westminster Abbey. Talk about a whirlwind!
While Operation London Bridge is most likely the plan of action when Her Majesty passes, Buckingham Palace hasn't commented on The Guardian's story, nor has it laid out funeral plans for when it happens . . . at least not publicly.

The Weeknd dropped his new EP My Dear Melancholy last week, and it definitely got people talking. Not only did he come out swinging against ex Selena Gomez, but there's one lyric in particular in "Call Out My Name" where The Weeknd seems to suggest that he was going to donate one of his kidneys to save Selena's life. The lyric goes: "I said I didn't feel nothing, baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life." Given that Selena underwent her kidney transplant surgery in the Summer of 2017 when she and The Weeknd were still together, it seems like that's what he's alluding to here.
Well, don't believe everything you hear. According to ET, The Weeknd was never on Selena's donor list. "It's just a lyric, and he knew it would strum up attention and that people would interpret it exactly as they have, but he was never actually going to donate his kidney to Selena," a source told the publication. "Sure, he was her boyfriend at the time, so it perhaps crossed his mind to get tested to see if he was a match - which is incredibly rare - but it never got anywhere close to actually happening."
While Selena never asked a "single person in my life" to donate their kidney to her, Selena's close friend, Francia Rasia, actually volunteered. "Selena would never, ever have asked [The Weeknd]," the insider added. "She wouldn't have even wanted him to even entertain the idea! It was difficult enough for her to allow a lifelong friend to do it, but a new boyfriend? No way."

Mario Dedivanovic Talks His Upcoming KKW Beauty Collab and the Makeup Trend of the Year
Mario Dedivanovic and Kim Kardashian met on a photo shoot during the first season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians in 2008, and they've been working together ever since. In the decade since they met, Kim has become one of the most recognizable faces in the world, and Mario is one of the most sought-after makeup artists in the industry (with 4.5 million Instagram followers).
In honor of their 10-year collaboration and friendship, the KKW Beauty x Mario line has finally come to fruition - and we're guessing it will be well worth the wait based off the gorgeous images Kim and Mario have posted on social media. POPSUGAR chatted with the iconic Master Class educator to find out all the details about this collaboration, which will become available on April 5.
The collection is inspired by Kim's ever-changing style, and some of her and Mario's favorite makeup moments throughout their time together. "I basically pulled tons of our looks and our favorites and [picked] colors so that you can basically re-create any Kim-and-Mario look from the past 10 years," Mario told POPSUGAR.
Unfortunately, Mario's favorite Kim look of all time isn't even documented. "My absolute favorite would probably be the look that I did for her wedding to Kanye West, but there's no clear color images of that look because they were never released. But it was such a beautiful, classic, perfect Kim K. makeup look."
When Kim started working on KKW Beauty, she immediately told Mario she'd like him to be her first brand collaboration. It was originally going to launch in October (because they're both Libras), but the collection wasn't perfect. The launch continued to be pushed back and then conveniently was ready in time to be released exactly 10 years from the day they met.
"Right now, there's this trend in the industry where people are just trying to get this crazy-intense pigment, but I feel like that kind of backfires sometimes."
Snapshots of the collection have already been circulating on Instagram thanks to the duo, and the boldest color of the collection is Libra, an electric blue shade. "A few of our favorite looks have been using blue eye shadow over the years, so I created the most stunning, gorgeous blue eye shadow that goes well with the other shades. I think it will be a really big trend in 2018."

The singular lipstick in the collection, Classic K, is the hue Mario used to have to mix several colors together to achieve for Kim. "I've always used about three or four lipsticks in this palette that I have, and I always mix them to create one color. So what I did is that I created that color in the lipstick tube," he said.
Mario even shared some expert tips on how to use the lip products in an unexpected way - on the eyes. "I love to take a little bit of the lipstick and apply it on the center of the lids; it has a beautiful satin texture, and it it gives a beautiful glow to the lid. You can [also] apply a little of the gloss onto the lids, which I do with Kim all the time. We always do, like, a glossy lid."
As a makeup artist, Mario has high standards for the products he uses. For eye shadow, Mario is surprisingly not a fan of formulas that are saturated with color. "There's a lot that I look for, like a great formula. But I don't like it to be too hyperpigmented, because then it becomes tricky when you're playing with it," Mario explained. "Right now, there's this trend in the industry where people are just trying to get this crazy-intense pigment, but I feel like that kind of backfires sometimes. It's a little too difficult to work with for the everyday woman."
Mario set out to make a collection that both professionals and amateur makeup-lovers can lust after. "When I created the eye shadow palette, I made sure that the products are very user-friendly and that you can apply a little bit and get the effect that you want, but you can also layer it and really get intensity. But I also think about makeup artists who will know how to use and perfect it."

While eating at night won't cause weight gain, eating a large meal that makes you exceed your daily calorie intake will. If you want to drop pounds, try this tactic: make lunch and breakfast your largest meals of the day, and make dinner a smaller meal (about 25 percent of your daily calories). Consuming more before a light dinner ensures you have enough time to burn all those calories.
If you're used to eating big meals at night and are at a loss for what to make, here's a two-week (14-day) dinner plan - all recipes are vegetarian and around 300 calories. And since meat-free meals are chock-full of fiber, you'll feel full longer, which is one way to prevent weight gain from late-night snacking. Oh My Quad! This Leg-Toning Exercise Is Good
Tina Turner has some of the best legs to walk this earth (so good, they're reportedly insured for $3.2 million). What exactly makes them great? The definition that is apparent from her quads all the way down to her calves. The four muscles that make up your quadriceps are the vastus lateralis, vastus medialis, vastus intermedius, and the rectus femoris. They start at the top of your pelvis and thighbone, then come together in a tendon surrounding the kneecap and attach to your shinbone.
Taking up a majority of your leg muscles, the quadriceps are not only nice to look at, but are an essential muscle group used in everyday activities like running. A great way to train your quads is by doing single-leg leg extensions.
Here's how to do it:
- Select your desired weight on the weight stack and insert the pin. A good weight to start with for beginners is five pounds. If you're more advanced, try 10 to 17.5 pounds.
- Start in a seated position on the machine with your back flat against the backrest and your legs underneath the pad. Make any necessary adjustments to the pad so that it's right above your ankle.
- With your right leg still bent at a 90-degree angle, grip the side handles while maintaining a relaxed upper-body position.
- Using your left quadriceps, begin to extend your left leg until it is fully extended. Hold for one second.
- Slowly lower back down to your start position.
- That's one rep.
- Repeat for three sets of eight for each leg.
*To modify this exercise, extend both legs at the same time and increase the weight to 20 to 30 pounds.
How Long Should You Wait to Work Out After Eating?
How you space out meals during the course of the day might not make a big difference in the calorie department, but it has huge implications on your workout performance. Not only can ineffectively fueling your body hinder your performance, but also, eating too much before exercise can interfere with your goals. When it comes to eating before exercise, it's all about timing.
No matter what time of day you choose to exercise, make sure to plan your workout two to three hours after your meal. Going overboard with too much food right before a workout will leave you feeling sluggish and can lead to stomach discomfort. The last thing you want is your workout habits to hinder your digestion process.
If it's been a few hours since your last meal, then most experts agree that you should eat a small snack one hour before your workout to properly fuel your body. A combination of carbs and a little protein, all under 200 calories, will do the trick. The Workout
Do each exercise for 40 seconds, resting 20 seconds between each one. Repeat the sequence once.
Plank to Pike
- Start in a plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders. Do not allow your lower back to arch. Keep your feet, pelvis, and shoulders in one long line.
- On an exhale, pull your abs deeply to your spine and use your abs to fold your body in half, shifting forward slightly onto your toes as your glutes raise into the air. Your back will become perpendicular to the floor, like a handstand. Allow your head to fall between your arms, keeping your neck long and in line with your spine.
- Lower yourself back into a plank position and do not allow your pelvis to sag below your shoulders for one rep. Repeat.
Alternating V-Up
- Lie face up with arms and legs extended and resting on the floor. Keep abs tight and lift your right hand to meet your left toe above your torso.
- Lower your arm and leg back to the floor. Repeat on the opposite side for one rep. Continue, alternating sides.
Side Plank With Knee Drive
- Begin in a side elbow plank with your left arm down and your right hand extended above your head, bicep by the ear.
- Keeping your torso stable and your waist lifted, bring your right leg up toward your shoulder to lightly tap your right elbow. Lengthen your right leg back to the starting position to complete one rep.
- Do this for 40 seconds; repeat on the opposite side.
Bear Plank With Shoulder Tap
- Start in a tabletop position. Engage your core and lift your knees to hover one inch above the ground.
- Keeping your hips level, tap your right hand to your left shoulder. Slowly lower back to start.
- Repeat on the opposite side for one rep. Continue, alternating sides.
