The Harrowing Real-Life Kidnapping Behind Trust and All the Money in the World

A scandal involving the Getty family has been the subject of Hollywood fascination as of late. All the Money in the World quickly garnered Oscar attention when it hit theaters in December, and now the same story is being played out on FX's TV series, Trust. And yet, many people still don't know the true story behind the film.

In All the Money in the World, Michelle Williams (as Gail Harris), Christopher Plummer (as J. Paul Getty), Mark Wahlberg (as Fletcher Chase), and Charlie Plummer (as John Paul Getty III) bring to life the tale of John Paul Getty III's kidnapping and his mother's attempt to get his billionaire grandfather to pay the ransom. While the movie is great, the true story is equally as fascinating. So, here's how it all went down:

The Family

When John Paul Getty III (who went by Paul) was kidnapped, his grandfather was the wealthiest man in the history of the world. According to People, Jean Paul Getty (who went by J.Paul Getty) was a millionaire by the young age of 25, which he originally earned from oil. The Getty family began in oil, and when Jean took over the business, he acquired a lot of American oil companies, which began his initial rise to fortune.

The bulk of his fortune was made when J. Paul (pictured above) made a deal with the Saudis to purchase land near the Kuwait border, which eventually led to the discovery of one of the largest oil reserves in the world. This discovery and the oil production that followed made Jean into the world's first billionaire.

J. Paul was married five times and had five sons and 14 grandchildren. Despite his massive fortune, he rarely gave any of his money to anyone, including charities and his children. The mogul did eventually bring his son John Paul Getty Jr. in on the oil business and moved him and his family to Rome to head up Getty Oil Italiana. Sadly, John Paul Jr. got into drugs in Morrocco, which led to his wife, Gail Harris, divorcing him and raising their son, Paul, in Rome on her own.

The Kidnapping

In 1973, when Gail and Paul were living in Rome, Paul (pictured below) was kidnapped by Italian gangsters who knew his name and wanted a massive payout. While the details around how he was kidnapped are a little sparse, we know that he was taken in the summer of 1973 in a van and that there was a ransom note.

"Dear Mother: I have fallen into the hands of kidnappers. Don't let me be killed! Make sure that the police do not interfere. You must absolutely not take this as a joke . . . Don't give publicity to my kidnapping," read the letter, which was originally published in Time's July 30, 1973, issue.

He was reportedly held in different hideaways, including a cave, over the next couple of months. He never actually saw the kidnappers, who wore masks, and wasn't able to identify the men when he later attended the trial. Ten days after the kidnappers first alerted Gail that they had taken her son, they made their demands for approximately $17 million.

What the kidnappers didn't know is that Gail and Paul didn't have access to the Getty fortune and that Paul's grandfather wasn't one to give away money, even to save his grandson's life.

The Waiting Game

When Paul was first kidnapped, his grandfather didn't believe it. He reportedly thought that Paul was staging the whole thing in order to extort money from him and he wouldn't help his son and daughter-in-law get their son back. Gail never gave up, but tried - and eventually succeeded - to get the kidnappers' ransom number down from its original price.

At the time, J. Paul said during a press conference that, "If I pay one penny ransom, I'll have 14 kidnapped grandchildren." He wasn't prepared to give a penny to save his grandson, and after four months of being held captive, the kidnappers took it a step further. They sent his severed ear to an Italian newspaper with a new note.

"This is Paul's ear. If we don't get some money within 10 days, then the other ear will arrive. In other words, he will arrive in little bits," the letter said along with the new asking price of $3.2 million.

It took a while, but eventually the head of the family did step in and negotiate with the kidnappers to bring the ransom down. He agreed to pay $2.9 million toward saving his grandson, with $2.2 million coming without strings attached, and then gave the rest to his son as a loan, which he had to pay interest on (four percent). Clearly, the billionaire wasn't prepared to lose a giant sum of money - even in the name of family.

The Aftermath

After the money was sent to the kidnappers, Paul was taken to a gas station and recovered on Dec. 15, 1973. According to The New York Times, Paul called to thank his grandfather for eventually paying for his release, but he refused to come to the phone.

As for the kidnappers, nine were arrested, but most were released because of the lack of evidence. Two of them were, however, convicted and imprisoned, although most of the money was never retrieved.

Paul got married young (to Gisela Martine Zacher, pictured below) and had his one and only child at the age of 18. He did become an actor, which was one of his dreams, but in 1981, he suffered a stroke after a drug overdose, which left him quadriplegic and partially blind. He divorced in 1993 and died in 2011 after years of illness. He was only 54 years old. (His son, Balthazar Getty, also became an actor.)

J. Paul Getty died in 1976 in England and is buried at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles. Despite having his son and grandson go through so much trauma, when J.Paul died, he only left John Paul Jr. $500 and left Paul nothing - he was disqualified from having a stake in his grandfather's trust once he wed at 18 years old.

The Getty family was greatly affected by this kidnapping, and the only good thing to come from it was that Paul and his mother Gail's relationship grew stronger, and she watched out for him and took care of him until his death.

Who Is Offset? Meet the Rapper Who Stole Cardi B's Heart, and Then Some

On Saturday, Cardi B confirmed her pregnancy to the world while performing on Saturday Night Live for the first time. The 25-year-old Bronx rapper is expecting her first child with rapper Offset, best known as a member of the hip-hop group Migos. While fans have come to know a lot about the outspoken rapstress, there's still a lot most don't know about the father-to-be. Keep reading to discover five quick facts about the Georgia native.

  1. Offset is his stage name. Don't expect to see Offset on their child's birth certificate. In fact, Offset's real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus.
  2. He's 26 years old. The hip-hop/trap rapper was born on Dec. 14, 1991.
  3. He began dating Cardi in 2017. In October of that year, Offset proposed to her during a live performance in Philadelphia. She said yes.
  4. He has three other children. Offset is the father of two sons, Jordan and Kody, and a daughter, Kalea Marie.
  5. He has been accused of cheating on Cardi on numerous occasions. Cardi seemed to address the rumors during a live performance in December by quoting a lyric from Beyoncé's Lemonade album, saying, "I let a n***a know though, you do that sh*t again, you gon' lose your wife!" Her song, "Be Careful," off her debut album Invasion of Privacy is also rumored to be a response to the cheating allegations.

Kay Cannon's Blockers Is the Unexpectedly Feminist Teen Comedy We've Been Waiting For

Image Source: Getty / Rich Polk

At first glance, Blockers has all the trappings of teen comedies we've seen 100 times before. Raunchy one-liners? Check. Trippy drug experiences? Check. A teenager's quest to lose their virginity? Check. John Cena chugging a beer using his . . . butt? Yeah, check. Only this time we're not watching a group of young men come of age, and Blockers definitely isn't another formulaic teen comedy. In the hands of director Kay Cannon, the film evolves into something that's a little bit more meaningful, a lot more feminist, and yes - truly f*cking hilarious.

That shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who's been paying attention to Cannon's highly successful career thus far. After spending years working behind the scenes as a writer and producer on Tina Fey's NBC comedy 30 Rock, Cannon penned the screenplay for a little movie called Pitch Perfect. Not only was an insanely popular, female-led musical comedy franchise launched, but so was Cannon's desire to tell stories that celebrate women.

"When I did Pitch Perfect, I just wanted to tell a story," Cannon tells me during a recent interview ahead of the Blockers premiere. "The story is all female groups are underdogs in the a capella world. That's where the story lived, right? For me, I was writing a sports comedy, sort of a Bad News Bears. Then when Pitch Perfect had this success and was touted as this female empowered movie about female friendship . . . in my mind, I'd had blinders on and I was just focused on telling a funny story with funny characters, because I'm a woman who knows a lot of other women who are funny. That's what I like, that's what I know."

"The ideas that I'm most drawn to are centered around women."

From there Cannon worked on comedies like New Girl and Cristela, both of which prominently feature female characters, as well as the next two Pitch Perfect films. She also served as an executive producer and showrunner on Netflix's Girlboss, an ambitious ode to bold women based on Nasty Gal founder Sophia Amoruso's meteoric rise to e-commerce fame that ultimately didn't pan out (it was canceled by the streaming giant after one season). All of this is to say that Blockers, with its unexpectedly feminist point of view, could not have ended up with a more perfect director.

For anyone who opted out of watching Cena's beer stunt in the trailer, Blockers follows three overprotective parents - played by Cena, Leslie Mann, and Ike Barinholtz, who should be cast together in every movie from now on - who join forces to keep their three daughters from losing their respective virginities on prom night. A plot like this could easily veer into territory ripe with the misogynistic sentiment that young women shouldn't be so forward when it comes to having sex for the first time, but time and time again, the film upends stereotypes you didn't even realize were there to begin with.

The screenplay was written by two men - Brian Kehoe and Jim Kehoe - and Cannon's addition to the project ensured Blockers had a necessary female voice.

"Brian and Jim took the project as far as they could in terms of their perspective. We had men writing the script and all the producers were male, but luckily for me, and rightly so, they said 'We can't be the ones in charge of this project, we need the female perspective,'" Cannon explained. There are countless ways this shines through, but maybe none are as important as the authentic bond between the film's three young stars: Kathryn Newton (Big Little Lies), Geraldine Viswanathan (Janet King), and Gideon Adlon (American Crime).

"It was important to me that the girls had something, that each one was very individual and had different motives for why they wanted to lose their virginity. I wanted them to be really, truly best friends. Once in a while I'd get a note like, 'What are the three girls like to everyone else in high school?' and just said 'I don't care!'" Cannon says. "I don't need to see if they're popular or not. They're best friends together, and that's their world. I felt like that was very true to how I grew up. I just wanted to make sure, in terms of the story having a female perspective, that all angles of this subject were tackled."

"That's what young women are asking both their parents and society: Why are you so afraid of me making the choice to have a sex life?"

The subject of feminism comes up in two key scenes that explicitly discuss the bias against a woman choosing to lose her virginity as opposed to a man - one is traditionally derided, whereas the latter is celebrated. In the first, Mann's character Lisa goes head-to-head with another mother who tries to stop the trio with a laundry list of why what they're doing is so wrong and anti-feminist. While what she's saying rings true, it feels more like she's reading from a dusty college textbook she pulled off the shelf than having a realistic conversation. Instead, the feminist message at the heart of Blockers is best summed up in a far subtler exchange between father and daughter pair Kayla (Viswanathan) and Mitchell (Cena).

Kayla turns to him and asks a seemingly simple question: "What's so bad about sex?" Stumped, all he can say is "I don't know." That, there, is the essence of the film, and it ended up being the moment I thought about most after I watched Blockers for myself (the butt chugging was a close second). When I mention it to Cannon, she immediately gets excited, revealing that she had to fight to keep it in the movie at all.

"I think that's one of the most important lines in the whole movie. At one point I had gotten a note to cut that line and I said no, because that's the crux of it. For her to ask why sex is so bad and he can't come up with an answer . . . he just wants to be a great dad, and he's figuring it out, too. I love that," she says. "I'm glad you connected with that, because that's the big question that you want to ask. It's loaded, but that's what young women are asking both their parents and society: why are you so afraid of me making the choice to have a sex life? You just assume it's going to be bad, you just assume it's going to strip me of my innocence, when in fact it can be something great."

For every flipped car, fiery explosion, and fedora joke is a thoughtful scene about consent, sexuality, and the crucial importance of female friendship, which is more relevant than ever these days. Of all the films out right now, Blockers has the most potential to be the one where people walk into the theater and leave an hour and a half later having genuinely learned something. Fortunately, Cannon doesn't have plans to stop bringing stories like these to screens near you anytime soon.

"I feel that it's so important to tell underserved stories, and of course there are so many underserved stories that are centered around women. I think we're awesome!" Cannon says with a laugh. "Those stories should be told."

Blockers hits theaters on April 6.

Watch the First Episode of Sandra Oh's New BBC America Series, Killing Eve, Right Here

What if you were put in charge of tracking down a violent killer, but in the process found that you and the killer became equally obsessed with each other, suddenly finding yourself amid the ultimate game of cat and mouse? That's the basic premise behind BBC America's highly anticipated new show, Killing Eve - and let's be honest: we already love it based on its plot alone.

Here's the thing, though: the show also stars the oh-so-delightful Sandra Oh of Grey's Anatomy fame. In her big return to the small screen, Oh plays the MI5 officer who's the "good" part of the fierce female pair at the heart of the series, alongside up-and-coming actress Jodie Comer (Doctor Foster), who plays the baddie.

We're so sure that it's going to be a big hit that we're bringing the show directly to you for a change. Yes, that's right: we've paired with BBC America to bring you the first episode, which you can stream in all its glory below. Be sure to watch the rest of the series as it airs on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. - though once you've watched it, it's going to be hard not to obsessively follow what may or may not happen next.

In News That, Well, Sucks: Everything Sucks! Canceled by Netflix After 1 Season

One of the most promising original TV series to come out of Netflix lately was Everything Sucks!, which was certainly not a description of the show itself. It definitely does not suck. In fact, in what is kind of a metaphor for navigating high school, which is what the show is about, the first season starts out a little awkward and unsure and blossoms into something really beautiful by the last episode.

By season's end, almost every character is in a really lovely place, while at the same time being in a bit of limbo (whether they know it or not). Kate (played by Peyton Kennedy in what is a beautiful heartbreaking performance) has finally had her first kiss with a girl while she explores her sexuality ("Best night ever!" she exclaims), but she hasn't told her dad yet, and she's obviously very nervous about opening up to him about being gay.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like we're going to be getting resolutions to those stories anytime soon. In a surprising move, Netflix has canceled Everything Sucks! after just one season.

The show got relatively positive reviews from critics, with a running theme being that the show finishes strong. As Variety's Maureen Ryan writes, "It's not a spoiler to say I'm glad I stuck with it - and let's hope it has an even more solid and confident second season, if Netflix decides to order one."

While we initially hoped that the good buzz would mean more things to come from the series, it seems Netflix is staying true to its mission to refine the large amount of scripted original shows on its slate.

"We're super proud of the show we made - and very proud that it found an audience of very passionate fans, for many of whom it became an important personal touchstone: either reflecting their current life, or an echo of their own teenage years," said executive producer Jeff Pinker. "We are grateful to Netflix for the opportunity, but are very disheartened we won't be continuing to tell these stories."

It's a disappointing move for a few reasons. Not only was the show reminiscent of Paul Feig and Judd Apatow's iconic one-season series Freaks and Geeks, but it leaves off on a bit of a cliffhanger. We have to find out what happens to Oliver after he runs off to New York City to be an actor, what's going to come of Emaline and Kate's budding romance, how McQuaid will react after catching the two girls kissing (because he thought Emaline liked him), and if Leslie and Tyler are going to join forces as nerds in love!

See? There's a lot happening. Season two might not happen at Netflix, but maybe a different network will step in to save us all from an Everything Sucks!-less future.

Run For Your Lives - A Horrifying New Trailer For The First Purge Is Here

A teaser trailer for The First Purge was released on the same day as President Trump's State of the Union Address, and it couldn't have been more fitting. Dwayne Johnson Reveals the Reason He and His Girlfriend of 10 Years Haven't Gotten Married

Dwayne Johnson has been dating 33-year-old singer Lauren Hashian since 2008, but he's in no rush to get married. While promoting his latest film, Rampage, the 45-year-old actor opened up about his future wedding plans to ET. "We were going to get married in the Spring and we got pregnant," Dwayne revealed. "Lauren felt like, well, you know, mama [doesn't want] to take pictures being pregnant in a wedding dress, so we're just going to wait and not quite sure when, but I know it's going to happen."

Dwayne and Lauren are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Jasmine and are expecting another baby girl later this month. However, Dwayne says he still doesn't know how soon after her arrival he and Lauren will tie the knot. "I don't know if it's shortly [after the baby comes], because right now after this we shoot Jungle Cruise with Emily Blunt and then I go on to shoot the Hobbs movie and we're just trying to figure out where we can put it in," Dwayne said. "The great thing with Lauren is she's such a rockstar. She's just like, 'It's alright, whenever it's going to happen we're going to make it work.' I mean, she's saying that now. A year from now she's going to be like, 'Hey!'"

This would be Lauren's first marriage and Dwayne's second since he was married to his college sweetheart and now-manager, Dany Garcia. Dwayne and Dany also share 16-year-old daughter Simone Johnson.

Killing Eve Has Already Been Renewed For Season 2, So You Can Relax Now

It probably won't even take you until the end of the thrilling first episode of BBC America's Killing Eve to realize that it's your new TV obsession. After all, it has everything you could want in a spy thriller: Grey's Anatomy's Sandra Oh as a slightly spazzy and absolutely brilliant MI5 officer, a psychopathic assassin for her to hunt down (Doctor Foster's Jodie Comer), some seriously fantastic coats, and more than a few top-notch accents. Fortunately, we have good news: Killing Eve, which hails from the mind of Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, has already been renewed for season two.

"This show has the thunder of women on both sides of the chase in Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer and, importantly, behind the camera with the lavishly brilliant Phoebe Waller-Bridge," BBC America president Sarah Barnett said of the show's early renewal on April 5. "The early response to Killing Eve has been incredible - for that reason, as well as the fact that we wholeheartedly love this original, funny, thrillingly entertaining series, we are delighted to move ahead with a second season before we even premiere."

This means that Waller-Bridge could have season two on the air hopefully by the same time next year, which is excellent news considering we can already tell we won't be able to stomach a cliffhanger for much longer than that.

This Viral Video Shows the Ridiculous Way 4 Teens Removed a Rat From Their House

What should you do if you discover a rat in your house? Record it for social media, of course. At least that's what these four college students from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh thought to do once they came up with a "ridiculous" plan to get the pesky rodent out of their bathroom.

In the seven-second clip uploaded by Twitter user Jody Mackin, the clever group of girls set up a blockade near the bathroom's exit using a mop bucket. Once the large rat came running out of the bathroom, one girl knocked it down a flight of steps using a mop. At landing, the rat attempted to make a getaway back into the house before another girl swiftly sent it flying out onto the street using a broom. Mackin's tweet now has more than 104,000 retweets and over 184,000 "likes" on Twitter at press time.

Many Twitter users shared their reactions to the insane video, with some empathizing with the rat:

While others weren't so forgiving, even praising the teens for their flawless execution.

This Optical Illusion Is Making Us Question Our Eyesight

A bizarre and maddening optical illusion recently went viral on Twitter and has left people (ourselves included) booking appointments with their optometrists. Twitter user Will Kerslake first shared the illusion on Sept. 11. The picture features a repeated gray pattern and 12 black dots strategically placed throughout the grid. If you look at the design, however, it's practically impossible to see all of the dots at once, as your eyes will only pick up a few at a time. Pretty frustrating, right? Try it for yourself below.

The illusion is referred to as Ninio's extinction illusion, named after French scientist Jacques Ninio. This is how it works: the eye is stimulated by a few of the dots in clusters at a time and effectively ignores the rest. So if your eye is focusing on the top right corner, you'll see the dots and the rest of the image will appear to be homogeneous, like an uninterrupted continuation of the gray lines.

Naturally, the internet is freaking out. Look ahead for some choice reactions.

Jenna Dewan's Wedding Dress Was an Actual Fairy Tale, and You Bet It Lives On

Jenna Dewan married Channing Tatum in Malibu, CA, in July 2009, but her Reem Acra wedding gown - a fluffy dream of a dress with a tiered tulle skirt and sequined bodice - would still be appropriate for a magical ceremony today. In fact, it might be hard to tell, but Jenna's look had a peach-pink tinge, proving she was no typical bride. Jenna chose such a voluminous look fit for a princess as she and Channing organized fairy-tale themed nuptials, and two flower girls even wore fairy wings!

Reem Acra spoke about the couture design he crafted for the star to People, stating, "I loved working with Jenna. She is so fresh and young. Her input on what she envisioned for her gown was essential and I am thrilled to have made her dream wedding gown come true."

Jenna has confirmed she's saving red carpet gowns for her daughter Everly, and apparently her wedding dress is included in that glamorous roundup. (We only hope Jenna owns enough garment bags and trunks!) While Jenna and Channing announced their split in April 2018, you can take a look back at the design Jenna wore, complete with a floor-grazing veil, right next to Channing's spiffy Giorgio Armani suit.

Princess Victoria Got to Shop This H&M Dress Before the Rest of Us, That Lucky Duck

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden arrived glowing to a WaterAid seminarium in Stockholm, and hello, if it wasn't the emerald silk of her dress that contributed to her shine! "I mean, really, what incredible designer piece is she wearing?!" we wondered. Get this: it's from H&M's 2018 Conscious collection, which is made from recycled materials and available in stores and online April 19. So she's the first one to debut this floral number, and she pulled off the task quite well.

The stylish royal completed her outfit with a matching leather clutch, a thin belt, and neutral pumps, giving her midi the spotlight. We definitely don't blame her, and while you're probably guessing we're jealous she got first dibs, we're even more grateful to Princess Victoria. Now we know exactly which item is first on our list for when the line launches. If you can't wait until then, read ahead to shop similar stunning options.

Everything You Need to Know About Marc Jacobs's Fiancé, Char Defrancesco

He's managed to capture the heart of fashion MVP Marc Jacobs, but who exactly is Char Defrancesco? In addition to his newly minted title of "fiancé," the California native has held several roles, including model, actor, and candle maker. Aside from having received the proposal of our dreams in the form of a flash mob at Chipotle, here's everything you need to know about Marc's main man.

Swiss born Char - or Charly - is no stranger to the fashion industry. After studying political science at UCLA, he opened his own men's retail store, then followed up its closing with a modeling stint in New York, a gig redesigning closets back in LA, and an appearance on the Netflix series Sense8. Once he met Marc, the pair began traveling the world, leaving less time for Char to take on projects and inspiring him to follow a passion for candle making he had nurtured in LA. Today, that passion has come to fruition with Lit by Char, a line of "bougie" scented candles Defrancesco sells online for anywhere from $24 to $64.

When he's not lighting up the world with scented luxury, Char is jet setting with Marc and documenting their life together - a life full of Insta-worthy moments, including flying on a private plane with Game of Thrones star Gwendoline Christie, engaging in an arm wrestling match at Kate Moss's birthday party, and sitting front row at Fashion Week alongside Lil' Kim. You know, real low key stuff.

Now, with a wedding on the way, we're going to be following along closely with the adventures of Marc and Char, and dreaming about scoring an invite to what promises to be the fashion nuptials of the decade. Until then, click through to check out some of the pair's most fabulous moments.

Selena Gomez Proudly Wore a Sexy String Bikini, and It's Empowering as Heck

Selena Gomez has been the talk of the town lately, and not just because of her recent break from boyfriend Justin Bieber. The starlet has been living life to the fullest in one amazing outfit after the next. After showing off her street style chops in a denim-on-denim look and a cozy blue cardigan, Selena took a much-needed vacation in Sydney, Australia.

The singer caught some rays with friends on a luxury yacht while wearing a sexy string bikini. Selena used one of our favorite swimwear hacks by mixing an orange bikini top with a pair of cheeky black bottoms. Selena proudly posted an Instagram video with a powerful caption calling out society's beauty norms. Read on to see all angles of her string bikini, and buy similar versions of her swimsuit ahead.

Alessandra Ambrosio's Bikini Is Cute, but You'll Fall Madly in Love With Her Cover-Up

Like her Instagram hashtag says, Alessandra Ambrosio is #foreveronvacation. The model has worn swimsuit after swimsuit while in Hawaii and showed no signs of stopping anytime soon. While taking a stroll on the beach, Alessandra rocked a red two-piece. Though the hue was similar to her past one-piece and bandeau bikini, the scoop design made this particular swimsuit feel completely new. It helped that she also chose a gorgeous breezy floral cover-up to complete her beach attire. The red prints matched perfectly with her tiny bikini. Read on to see her full look, then shop similar pieces for your own vacation.

Marc Jacobs Proposed to His Boyfriend in a Chipotle, and It's Even Better Than You Imagine

Pulling off a surprise proposal might not be easy, but Marc Jacobs certainly managed to astonish his better half. On Wednesday, the designer organized a flash mob inside a Chipotle restaurant, where a group of people danced to Prince's hit song "Kiss." As the fun moment was ending, Marc got down on one knee and asked his boyfriend, former model, candle maker, and actor Charly Defrancesco, to marry him.

Luckily, everything was caught on camera and shared on Instagram. "And this happened…'Charly Defrancesco will you marry me?' #flashmobatchipotle #moves," writes the designer. "Thank you everyone for making this happen. And to my Ride or Die fiancé @chardefrancesco I LOVE YOU."

Marc and Charly first struck a romance a couple of years ago, and we've loved following their adventures on social media. As we wait for what will undoubtedly be a very fashionable wedding, read on to get a look at the sweet video.

It's Hard to Miss Kourtney Kardashian on a Bike When She's Wearing This Romantic Bikini

Kourtney Kardashian usually packs a sultry swimsuit or two for vacations, but not this time around. The star took a bike ride, while on an island somewhere, and wore a boho-inspired bikini. At first glance, the two-piece looked like an actual clothing set, but if you look at it more closely, it's definitely a romantic and unusual crochet bikini. The top featured an off-the-shoulder fit and the bottoms were high-waisted to show off Kourtney's curves.

Her swimsuit is the type to make you search high and low for it. And luckily, we found it! Created by She Made Me, the crochet bikini is still available to shop - just in case you want to channel Kourtney's style. Read on to see her biking look, then shop her exact bikini, plus similar styles, below.

Demi Lovato's Denim Jacket Has a Message All Her Fans Should Know - Read It

Just in case you didn't know, Demi Lovato is a babe. It said so right on her jacket. The star dashed out of No Vacancy in Hollywood after celebrating a friend's birthday, but before she made it into her car, we got a full glimpse of her outfit. For the celebration, Demi wore a ripped denim jacket by Forte dei Marmi Couture ($483). On the back, in glittery purple letters, was the word "Babe."

To add even more pops of color to her look, Demi sported a pair of sherbet sneakers from Stella McCartney. The dad-like kicks are very trendy for Spring and matched her off-white crossbody bag - a must have street wear item.

If you thought Demi's outfit was just some casual one in passing, hopefully this just proved you wrong. The singer has major style, which we think can also be attributed to her stylist, Law Roach. He works with stars such as Zendaya and Ariana Grande, so Demi, naturally, is another perfect match. Ahead, take a look at her full ensemble, then shop Demi's design and more outerwear with just as much flavor.

I Finally Gave Mom Jeans a Try, and I Have to Admit, I Didn't Hate Them

Like most people, I basically live in jeans. From skinny jeans to ankle-length baby blues, I pride myself on trying (and loving) all styles except one: mom jeans. With its superhigh waist, loose crotch, and tapered legs, this style just never seemed that appealing to me. First of all, I have hips, so I tend to stick to jeans that I know will look good on my body, and second, they're called "mom jeans" - not exactly the most compelling selling point.

But since the '90s are making a comeback and countless fashion girls can't get enough of them, I figured what the heck, let's give this trend a try. (Worst-case scenario, I'll just tell everyone I was trying to reenact the infamous SNL skit where Tina Fey and Amy Poehler prance around in hilariously bad jeans.) So, with this mission in mind, I slipped into a pair of vintage-hued DSTLD Mom Jeans ($105) to see what all the hype was about.

Much to my surprise, when I wore the jeans, I realized there's nothing really "mom-like" about this style. Contrary to popular belief, these high-waisted jeans didn't make me look frumpy or give me a flat butt. In fact, the stretchy texture hugged my curves perfectly, while the rips around the knees made the style look less outdated. Since I'm not a fan of tapered-leg jeans, I cuffed the bottoms to give them a more contemporary feel. Scroll on to see how I styled the jeans for three different occasions: everyday wear, brunch, and date night.

Amal Clooney's Date-Night Shoes Double as Pants - Yes, They Go That High

Amal and George Clooney are calling NYC home for the time being. Weeks after attending the March For Our Lives, the duo was spotted going on several dinner dates. Each time, Amal dressed to impress and showed off her stylish wardrobe - particularly her coats. After rocking this leopard trench and a twill Alexander Wang piece, she brought out her brightest outerwear yet.

It was a yellow coat from Lanvin's Pre-Fall '18 collection. Amal lit up the night in the sunny hue, and it was definitely fitting for Spring. Before you get too distracted by the lemon hue, however, you'll notice her insane pair of stiletto thigh-high boots. They wrapped her svelte legs perfectly and looked both chic and sexy. Scroll through to see Amal's outfit in full, then shop similar boots for your own dinner dates.

This Is the Perfume You Should Be Wearing, According to Your Zodiac Sign

I plan my relationships, career, and life in general around the zodiac, because I am millennial scum. Just kidding - the horoscope is just fun, y'all. Perhaps you share a similar love of your star sign so much that you want to smell like it. If so, congratulations! One fragrance brand makes perfumes for all 12 zodiac signs.

The label is called Zodica Perfumery, and it just might become your latest obsession. Whether you're an Aquarius, Virgo, Leo, or anyone in between, you can pick up a bottle ($75) or spritzer ($40) of what the universe (or more specifically the fragrance chemists at Zodica) thinks you should be wearing.

Every scent is anchored by a one-word "intention" that inspired the different notes. For instance, Capricorn's theme is "Hustle," so it contains spicy whiffs of white tea, yuzu, mandarin, clementine, white lavender, fresh sage, water lotus, and musk to keep you on your toes. Meanwhile, "Charm" is the name of the game for Libras, whose flirty scent is made of Georgia peach, tropical mango, ripe raspberry, and jasmine. If you're a Scorpio, you're encouraged to let your "Passion" run wild via smells like patchouli, must, pomegranate, apricot, tuberose, and sandalwood.

What's more, each perfume comes with a poem that the brand encourages you to "speak when wearing [the fragrance] to unleash the inspired intention into the universe." This is all in an effort to "mindfully manifest your day." Someone call Marky Mark and also the Funky Bunch, because I am feeling the good vibes right now.

Sarah Jessica Parker Swears By This Laura Mercier Eyeliner, and the Color Is Absolutely Wild

Source: Getty / Valerie Macon/AFP

Sarah Jessica Parker is practically an icon of all things: TV, movies, fashion, and beauty, just to name a few. So when the 53-year-old actress dropped the name of her go-to eyeliner during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen back in February, you best believe I scrambled to take notes and prepared to make a purchase. Sarah revealed that she "always" carries Laura Mercier's Caviar Stick Eye Color ($29) in the shade Jungle and "basically doesn't wear anything else" on her lids. That deep green hue must be why her stunning blue eyes always seem to pop!

The creamy eye color can be used on the waterline or all over the lid to achieve a smoky glow. Plus, it's available in a variety of colors and finishes for a daytime or evening look. Thanks for yet another stellar tip, SJP, your beauty moments always bring a smile to my face.
