Disney Fans Are Going to FREAK Out Over This Bride's Shoes at Her Disney World Wedding

Three years after meeting at work, Sean proposed to Vanessa on Valentine's Day. The holiday wasn't a big deal to either of them, so Sean popped the question in their new home with a dozen red roses. As you can guess by now, she said "yes."

As huge Disney fans, the couple planned a semi destination wedding at Disney's Yacht Club Resort in Florida, where they live. They wanted to make the trip worth it to their 130 guests, and Disney World was the perfect place that could double as a family vacation for everyone. To play up the resort's beach and nautical themes in the Spring, Sean and Vanessa incorporated details like seashells and rope with a color scheme of mint, light blue, and coral - and, of course, Disney!

To keep costs down, the couple also tackled many DIY projects. They created their own table numbers and holders, "lobster trap" card box, menu, thank-you cards, guestbook, and even the flower girl's Minnie Mouse-shaped bouquet.

One of the most memorable moments at the wedding was when Mickey and Minnie made a surprise appearance. "It was hard to keep the surprise, but we knew a Walt Disney World wedding would not be complete without Mickey and Minnie - it was our one nonnegotiable!" Vanessa told their photographer. "The look on our guests' faces - both adults and children - made it very much worth it."

See their beautiful photos!

This Heartbreaking Theory Might Explain Why Snape Was Mean to Neville Longbottom

It's no secret that Severus Snape picks on Neville Longbottom a lot. However, while some fans of the series might've dismissed it due to Snape's overall sour attitude, one fan theory suggests a darker and sadder reason for why Snape acted the way he did.

The theory starts with the prophecy made by Professor Trelawney, which was revealed in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The prophecy boils down to either Neville or Harry being the chosen one to "vanquish the Dark Lord." Voldemort chose the Potters, killing Lily, the one person Snape loved. The theory, posted by Reddit user OrgasmicSarcasmic, suggests that Snape treats Neville so poorly because he's a reminder that Alice Longbottom is alive (though tortured into insanity) while Lily isn't. You can read it ahead.

I just realized this about Snape and Neville from harrypotter

A thread on Quora suggests something similar. Quora user Sahil Juneja believes that Neville represents Snape's "living embodiment of guilt" and everything he did to unintentionally cause the death of Lily.

Pretty sad, right? Oh, Snape, your love of Lily was so much bigger than any of us knew.

Staring at Screens All Day Is Damaging Your Eyes - Here's How to Protect Them

In the words of Madonna, "I'm a digital girl in a digital world." Digital devices have allowed us to connect with people all over the world, but there are a few downsides to consider, like digital eye strain. If you've ever suffered from discomfort after using a digital device for longer than two hours, chances are you're experiencing digital eye strain. The Vision Council found that more than 83 percent of Americans report using digital devices for more than two hours a day, with more than half of the same group using two devices simultaneously and experiencing digital eye strain. If completely disconnecting is not an option, here are some tips to consider to protect your eyes from strain.

Remember to Blink

"When you look at a screen you're so involved that you forget to blink. The blink rate goes from 15 times a minute to five or seven times per minute," said ophthalmologist Dr. Matthew Gardiner. Blinking helps keep the front of your eye surface moist.

Follow the 20-20-20 Rule

The 20-20-20 rule is easy to implement daily. Take a 20-second break from your screen every 20 minutes and look at something 20 feet away.

Adjust Your Workspace

The Vision Council recommends positioning yourself at arm's distance away from your computer monitor. Another tip is to lower your monitor. You want the center of the monitor to be about four to eight inches below eye level and around 20 to 28 inches from the eyes. Position your monitor to avoid glare from overhead light and windows.

Increase the Text Size

Another quick fix is to increase the text size on your devices, as this will help define the content on the screen.

Reduce Glare

Using softer lighting on your devices and matte filters will reduce the glare on tablets, phones, and computers.

Check Your Prescription

Discomfort could be caused by not having the right prescription for your glasses! Be sure to get a comprehensive eye exam every one to two years.

You Know You're One of These Types of Texters

Roseanne's Cast and Crew Were "Always on Edge" About Roseanne Barr Going Off Track

The sudden cancellation of Roseanne because of Roseanne Barr's racist tweets may have come as a shock to fans, the cast, and crew of the show, but according to People there was a certain awareness that things could take a turn for the worst.

"Everyone is upset for the cast and the crew, but there was always a feeling that something was going to happen," an ABC source told People. "There was always a heightened awareness with her, and we were always on edge about her going off track."

Well, Barr's racist tweets about former Obama aide Valerie Jarrett certainly were the final "off track" straw for ABC, as the network canceled the show hours after she pressed send. The ABC source revealed they were holding their breath for Barr to eventually slip up, but her offensive and inappropriate tweets were entirely unexpected.

"Did we think she would say something like that? No. But then it all fell apart," the source reportedly said.

While the cast and crew are, sadly, left to deal with the repercussions of Barr's actions, many fans (and even Jimmy Kimmel!) have solutions to share that could revive the show without Barr herself. Hopefully, one of these ideas can help put back together the pieces that fell apart for the rest of the Conner family.

SNL's Pete Davidson Debuts 2 Tattoos Inspired by Ariana Grande - See the Pics!

Pete Davidson is making his feelings for Ariana Grande known - with permanent tattoos, that is. The couple, who recently confirmed their romance with a Harry Potter-themed Instagram photo, appears to be more than just "casually dating" as initial reports suggested. On Saturday, Los Angeles tattoo artist London Reese shared photos of Pete's new ink which features an image of the black bunny mask the "No Tears Left to Cry" singer wore on the cover of her 2016 album, Dangerous Woman, and her initials on his right thumb.

The bold move comes just days after the 24-year-old Saturday Night Live star called out critics who disagreed with the couple's sudden pairing. "[I've] been hearing a lot of 'people with [borderline personality disorder] can't be in relationships' talk," Pete wrote on Instagram. "I just wanna let you know that's not true. Just because someone has a mental illness does not mean they can't be happy and in a relationship. It also doesn't mean that person makes the relationship toxic." See the other photo of Ariana's initials tatted on Pete's thumb ahead.

Benedict Cumberbatch, Real-Life Superhero, Saves a Cyclist From a Vicious Attack in London

Benedict Cumberbatch, star of Marvel's Doctor Strange and Avengers: Infinity War proved his superhero status was the real deal when he saved a cyclist from four muggers recently.

According to The Sun, the 41-year-old actor spotted the attack happening while riding in an Uber on Marylebone High Street in central London. Witnesses at the scene said Benedict sprang into action after jumping out of the car, shouting "leave him alone!"

The actor faced off with the muggers who assaulted the food-delivery cyclist with a bottle. Although one of the attackers attempted to land a punch on the star, Benedict was able to thwart off the assailants. The Uber driver, Manuel Dias, confirmed the story to the outlet, saying, "The cyclist was lucky; Benedict's a superhero."

Manuel continued, "He seemed to know exactly what he was doing. He was very brave." Benedict reportedly asked the cyclist how he was feeling after the scary incident and hugged him after he was assured that he was OK. "Benedict was courageous, brave and selfless," Manuel shared. "If he hadn't stepped in, the cyclist could have been seriously injured."

Benedict doesn't consider himself a hero, though. "I did it out of, well, I had to, you know . . ." he told the outlet. A humble superhero? We've decided to stan forever.

The Bachelorette's Garrett Apologizes For Racist Instagram Likes: "I Take Full Responsibility"

The Bachelorette's 14th season has already been mired in controversy. Shortly after its premiere on May 28, the reality show found itself with more drama on its hands than usual when deeply troubling social media posts linked to one of Becca Kufrin's suitors (and the season's likely winner) Garrett Yrigoyen were uncovered.

Screenshots of Garrett's account "liking" photos from right-wing Instagram pages mocking immigrants, feminists, Parkland high school student David Hogg, and transgender people were sent to former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey, who shared them on Twitter. A scandal quickly erupted, and Becca has since asked fans to "be open" about the entire situation. "I want them to go through this season with me and watch my love story unfold with all of these men," Becca told Entertainment Tonight. "I did things in the past that I'm sure [weren't] the best [things], but I just want people to stay open-minded to everyone."

Now, Garrett has finally addressed the social media posts himself. In a lengthy apology shared via his new Instagram account on May 31, Garrett said he was sorry to those he offended and promised Bachelor Nation that the "likes" are not a true representation of who he is. You can read his apology in full ahead:

"To those who I have hurt and offended: This is all new to me. I went on The Bachelorette for the adventure and possibility of falling in love, not fame. I did not know what to expect once the show aired. I am sorry to those who I offended and I also take full responsibly for my 'likes' on Instagram that were hurtful and offensive. garrett_yrigs12 was my former Instagram handle and I decided to take it down and start fresh because I have learned an extremely valuable lesson and am taking steps to grow, become more educated, and be a better version of myself.

I am not perfect, and I will never be anywhere close, but now I will always be more informed and aware of what I am liking and supporting, not just on Instagram, but in life. I never realized the power behind a mindless tap on Instagram and how it bears so much weight on people's lives. I did not mean any harm by any of it. My Instagram 'likes' were not a true reflection of me and my morals.

I am not the negative labels people are associating me with. For those who do know me, I am a sincere, genuine, loving, lighthearted, open-minded and non-judgmental individual. I like to make new friends with anyone I meet and want everyone to find their happiness. I love to laugh often and enjoy seeing others do the same. I hope that some day you can get to know the real me and the man that I am. Let my mistakes be a lesson for those who mindlessly double tap images, memes and videos on any social media content that could be many things including hurtful, degrading, and dehumanizing.

I do not want my social media to define who I am, and I will take better care moving forward to support all walks of life. Again, I sincerely apologize and am sorry of any hurt, damage, or offense I may have caused."

Whether you buy his apology or not, it looks like Garrett - who won Becca's first impression rose in the premiere - will be sticking around The Bachelorette for quite some time.

This 1 Detail From Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Wedding Is Guaranteed to Make You Giggle

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony on May 19, before changing into gorgeous black-tie outfits and partying the night away with 200 guests. Between the giggling guests, the emotional speeches, and a very special performance given by Elton John, it sounds like the reception was one hell of a party, and every little detail was planned to perfection - down to the theme of the wedding tables.

According to Janina Gavankar, who is a close friend to Meghan, each table was named for a food that is pronounced differently on either side of the Atlantic. "Potato, potato, tomato, tomato, oregano, oregano," she told Town & Country. "It was so sweet. There were so many nods to the beautiful mashup of two cultures."

Of course, it wasn't the only way Meghan made sure to bring a little bit of her American background into her big day. In addition to wearing a modern, chic gown, she honored her side of the family with gospel songs, an American bishop, and so much more.

10 Family Sitcoms You Should Watch Instead of the Roseanne Reboot

In theory, ABC's reboot of Roseanne seemed like a good idea: a nostalgic reunion of a beloved cast, family-oriented storylines unafraid of exploring politics, and a production team boasting the comedic talents of Wanda Sykes and Whitney Cummings. But in reality, bringing the '90s sitcom back from the dead was always going to fail because of one important factor: Roseanne Barr.

While Roseanne Conner might have originally had liberal-leaning views and embraced her LGBTQ+ friends, Barr has made a habit of spewing racist ideas and fact-free conspiracy theories on Twitter over the years. Those qualities resulted in a revamped version of her character, one who supports Donald Trump and fears her Muslim neighbors. ABC finally said enough was enough on May 29 when the network abruptly canceled the series after Barr shared a particularly racist tweet, which she later blamed on taking Ambien.

Fans have been quick to share their sadness over the loss of the revival, and even came up with ideas of how to continue the show without Barr, but the truth of the matter is that we never needed a Roseanne reboot to begin with. There are tons of other series currently on the air that offer thoughtful, nuanced takes on issues like politics, family, gender, and race without needing to also mock other, more diverse shows or cater to the Islamophobic views of its star.

So, if you're in the market for a TV show that's like Roseanne but isn't Roseanne, you've come to the right place.

Netflix's Evil Genius Might Be Getting a Sequel, and We're Freaking Out

Warning: The following contains spoilers for Netflix's Evil Genius.

When the four-part Netflix docuseries Evil Genius premiered on May 11, there was no stopping us (and a whole lot of people on Twitter) from carving out time to watch it. The gripping documentary investigates the 2003 Erie, PA, Pizza Bomber bank heist and murder. Apparently four parts weren't enough, because a sequel might be coming if directors Barbara Schroeder and Trey Borzillieri get their way.

"We would love to do another deep dive into the characters in here, to reveal new information," Schroeder told The Wrap. "We could do a Good Genius, too."

The series starts when Brian Wells, a pizza delivery man, walks into a bank with a shotgun disguised as a cane and a homemade bomb locked around his neck, and passes a note to the bank teller with instructions to give him $250,000 in cash. Instead he walks out with $8,000, all the bank had on hand, and not long afterwards Wells is apprehended by the Erie police. They handcuff him and leave him sitting in the middle of a road as they observe from afar, for fear the bomb might explode. Although he continuously begs for help, the cops are extremely suspicious, and within the hour the bomb goes off - instantly killing Wells.

Soon after the explosion, the cops discover a series of extremely meticulous written instructions that Wells was supposed to follow, and the hunt for the titular "evil genius" behind the crime begins. It dives deep into the lives of the brilliant-but-murderous Marjorie Diehl-Armstrong, her ex-fiancé Bill Rothstein, and everyone else involved in this heinous crime.

At the end of the four hour-long episodes, there are still so many questions left unanswered: Was Wells involved? Did Armstrong and Rothstein plan the whole thing together? Was the bomb ever supposed to be real in the first place? These are all things that could get answered if Netflix greenlights a sequel, so fingers crossed.

The Queer Eye Guys Teamed Up With Betty Who For a Fierce New Music Video

The first season of Netflix's Queer Eye reboot not only packs a seriously emotional punch (we're still freaking out about Tom and Abby!), but it also boasts a pretty killer soundtrack. The show's theme song, "All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)," was originally done by the music group Wildlife, but in honor of the upcoming second season, singer Betty Who reimagined the tune, and it's pure pop perfection.

To celebrate the new edition of the song, Betty joined the Queer Eye cast - Bobby Berk, Karamo Brown, Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness - in a colorful music video that will both quench your Queer Eye thirst and leave you intensely thirsty (Antoni is wearing a crop top and Jonathan's hair-whipping skills are on full display, FYI). Kanye West Seemingly Confirms Khloé and Tristan's Relationship Status in New Song

As he often does, Kanye West is getting personal. The 40-year-old rapper released his eighth studio album, Ye, on June 1 following a listening party in Jackson Hole, WY, the previous evening. The vulnerable album touches on topics such as his marriage, mental health, and family. Kanye also dropped an unexpected reference to the cheating allegations against Tristan Thompson and his relationship with Khloé Kardashian since the birth of their daughter, True.

On "All Mine," the third track off the newly released album, West raps, "All these thots on Christian Mingle / Almost what got Tristan single / If you don't ball like him or Kobe / Guarantee that bitch gonna leave you." Here, West is seemingly referring to how Tristan's alleged affairs almost ended his relationship, were it not for his talent or success.

Kardashian and Thompson have yet to comment on the status of their relationship since the scandal, but the 33-year-old reality star was reportedly "devastated" by the news. Her sister, Kim Kardashian, later appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she described Thompson's actions as "so f*cked up" and a "sad situation all over." At the time, however, she wasn't able to state whether the couple was still together and instead said her younger sister is just trying to focus on motherhood.

While we shouldn't take West's lyrics as an official confirmation of the couple's reconciliation, the implication is that the relationship isn't entirely over. In early May, the couple was spotted out together at a restaurant in Cleveland, and she even attended his basketball game the following day. Her appearances were met with reports that the two are "fully back together," however, there's no way of knowing until they comment on the matter themselves . . . or West beats them to it.

I've Spent a Year Searching For My Forever Mascara - Here's Everything I Learned

Up until a year ago, I had been wearing the same drugstore mascara that I discovered in high school. I purchased tube after tube for over a decade, trusting the formula to make my stick-straight Asian eyelashes look long, thick, and, most importantly, dramatically curled. Accompanied by a good dose of eyeliner along my top and bottom lash line, the mascara looked fantastic. I had no complaints.

But when I hit my mid-20s, my approach to makeup shifted - I grew more comfortable and confident in my own skin and started to appreciate a less-is-more beauty look. As someone who previously balked at the thought of leaving the house without wearing a full face of makeup, I found myself going out more and more frequently with just my lashes and eyebrows done. And I soon discovered that without the buffer of eyeliner, my previously trusty mascara would end up tragically transferred onto my lower lash line (where I would normally apply eyeliner) by the end of the day.

Disappointed, I set out to find a new everyday mascara - one that would still hold an aggressive curl, minus the raccoon eyes. Little did I know, it was a process, and one I wasn't exactly prepared for. One year and 10 tubes of mascara later, I still haven't discovered a worthy replacement, but I have discovered some eye-opening (literally) things along the way.

If you're on the hunt for your own forever mascara, learn from my mistakes and read on for seven tips I picked up that'll help make your search easier than mine.

1. Take product reviews, testimonials, and suggestions from others with a grain of salt

Nothing will derail a meeting faster than telling a conference room full of beauty editors that you're looking for a new mascara. As soon as I casually mentioned it to my colleagues here at POPSUGAR, the suggestions came pouring in. And with plenty of impressive before-and-after photos to go off of, I had a running start.

But after trying the third tube that came highly recommended, I realized that what was working for my fellow mascara-lovers was definitely not working for me and I couldn't rely solely on word-of-mouth, popularity, or photos, no matter how jaw-dropping. Now, I do my own extensive research on a potential brand and product and remind myself to give every product a fair chance, whether or not it's been highly touted by others.

2. Don't write off a mascara after the first try

Whether it's the way you wield the wand, the passing of time, or even the formula's exposure to air, your second experience with a mascara can differ drastically from the first. When I first applied a popular mascara, I found that the formula weighed down my lashes and deflated the curl. A few weeks later, I decided to give the same mascara another try and was pleasantly surprised to see that somehow the formula held a curl much better the second time around. With every new tube, I now make a point to apply the product on at least three different occasions before formulating a definitive opinion on it.

3. Standard and waterproof formulas are different, even for the same mascara

The name and packaging may be the same (save for a small "waterproof" label), but that doesn't mean the formulas are. After interrogating my sister on how her lashes always look so amazing, she suggested I use her go-to mascara. After trying a tube for myself, I was disappointed to discover that what delivered long and thick lashes with an impressive curl on her fell completely flat on me.

The one small, but significant, detail? She uses the waterproof version. Sure enough, after swapping my standard formula for the waterproof one, my lashes held a curl for longer. If you think about it, standard mascara formulas need to be chemically altered to withstand water, so there's a high chance they're developed differently - which means they'll most likely interact with your lashes differently as a result.

4. Ensure everything else in your makeup routine stays consistent

Don't follow my lead and start experimenting with a new liquid liner at the same time that you're experimenting with a new mascara. Since your lashes can be affected by everything from the eyelash curler you use to the order in which you apply your products, you'll want to keep the makeup you're wearing around your eyes the same in order to quickly determine whether the mascara is right for you.

5. A coat is not created equal across mascaras

With my previous drugstore go-to, I was used to swiping on coat after coat after coat in rapid succession to achieve the mega volume I liked. Once I started wielding different wands, it quickly became clear that I needed to change up my application technique depending on the mascara. Sometimes all I needed was one lighthanded coat, while other times, the mascara called for three coats (along with drying time between each) to achieve the same effect.

6. Don't assume mascara will look the same once it dries

You'd think that the eyelashes you see in the mirror directly after applying mascara would be the same eyelashes you see an hour later, right? Not necessarily. After applying a new mascara for the first time, I was happy with the results. But a mere few moments later, I glanced in the mirror and was disappointed to discover my curl had completely deflated as the formula had dried.

7. It takes a lot of time, money, and patience

Patience is really the key word for me here. I'm not one to let beauty products go to waste, so over the course of the year, I found myself trying to finish a tube of mascara before moving on to the next one, even if I didn't love it (or even like it). But that just means that once I finally discover The One, I know I'll appreciate it that much more. After all, confidence-boosting lashes are worth it!

Is Retinol the Answer to All of Your Complexion Concerns?

To many skin care-obsessed women, retinol is considered liquid gold. It's known as a superb antiaging product because of its ability to decrease fine lines and wrinkles, but this ingredient can actually do much more. A great retinol product will plump and smooth while improving skin's elasticity, stimulating collagen, exfoliating, and evening its tone. Retinol also goes a long way in preventing and erasing sun damage.

There are two routes you can take when it comes to incorporating retinol into your regimen. It can be purchased over the counter or prescribed by a doctor. I spoke to a few skin care experts to break down everything you need to know about this quasi-miracle ingredient so you can figure out which route and products might be the best for you.

I'm Super Allergic to Dust and This Is the Only Air Purifier That Helps Clear My Sinuses

OK, let me start by saying I have two major problems in life. One: I'm super allergic to dust. Two: I live a very old, dusty apartment with 15-year-old carpet that has only god knows what packed into it. I guess allergies are like wine because they seem to develop with age. Every year I grow older, I spend more time blowing my nose and popping antihistamines. This past year, I had one of worst allergy attacks ever. I spent weeks being the annoying coughing girl at my office. After deciding I was most likely allergic to my house, I made the commitment to buying an air purifier. After tons of research, this Blueair Classic 203 Slim Air Purification System ($199) was my winner. Now I can't imagine living without it.

In my hunt, I discovered that it's important for allergy suffers to get a purifier with HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) technology. This one had it. The brand boasts that it also helps the filtration capture 99.97 percent of airborne pollutants, including allergens, mold, dust, pet dander, smoke particles, and pollen. It comes with three fan speeds. I normally keep it on low, but if I'm cleaning my house, I'll put it up to its max strength to make sure it sucks up all those particles. The best feature: it's so quiet, I don't hear any noise!

I purchased the 203 model, which works great for a small space, like my bedroom. If you need something larger, it also comes in 405 and 605 models that can handle up to 775 square feet.

New to line is this Blueair Classic 203 Slim Wifi Enabled Air Purification System ($329), which can connect your Alexa or Echo device.

Whether you suffer from allergies or not, this powerhouse machine will make your space feel fresher than ever.

Carnitas, Al Pastor, Barbacoa: Here's the 411 on Mexican Meats

The beer-drinking backdrop of a hot afternoon or evening would pair perfectly with a festive Mexican feast of tacos and grilled meats. But with a menagerie of Spanish monikers from carnitas to carne asada, taco meat terminology can get a bit confusing. Here's the breakdown of Mexican meats:

  • Carne asada: Grilled, marinated pieces of beef (typically sirloin or rib) served inside burritos and tacos.
  • Carnitas: Shoulder of pork that's been seasoned, braised until tender with lard and herbs (oregano, marjoram, bay leaves, garlic), pulled apart, and then oven-roasted until slightly crisp, then eaten alone or used as a filling for tacos, tamales, tortas, and burritos.
  • Al pastor: Crisp-thin shavings of vertical spit-roasted pork, marinated with guajillo chiles and achiote, then served on tortillas. Pastor means "shepherd," the name given to Lebanese merchants who immigrated to Mexico City in the early 1900s, bringing the concept of shawarma with them.
  • Cochinita pibil: Whole suckling pig or pork shoulder that's marinated in citrus with achiote, then wrapped in banana leaves and roasted. Historically, it's buried in a pit with a fire at the bottom.
  • Barbacoa: Traditionally, beef cheek and head that's covered in leaves from the maguey plant, then slow cooked over a wood fire in a pit in the ground. In America today, it also refers to spicy, shredded, slow-braised beef that's been made tender, then pulled apart.

Got all that? What Mexican meat goes in between your tortillas?

Not Sure What Wine to Grab From Trader Joe's? Here Are 16 Tasty Options

While Trader Joe's may be the best thing in the world for great bargains, healthy options, unique foods, and really fun people-watching, the store also carries a wide variety of wines. From red blends to Champagne, its wine selection can meet the needs of any dinner party, brunch, or night in.

Also a big win? The price. The bottles are usually a bargain, and although you may be going for something a little bit finer, there is just something about grabbing a bottle of Two Buck Chuck for good measure that makes the college kid in me smile. (OK, I still drink it sometimes and I'm well into my 30s.) Check out our definitive list of the best bottles of wine you can find at Trader Joe's.
