It's Official: These Are the 11 Editor-Approved Candles You Need For Fall 2018

Bye Summer, we're so over you. But really - it's time to get into full-on Fall mode. One of our favorite ways to be in the seasonal spirit is with candles. Here at POPSUGAR, we're totally obsessed, so we curated the very best options you should buy this Autumn. Whether you love a classic pumpkin scent or notes of cedar and vanilla, we've got the picks you'll want to light up every night. Now all you need is a cozy blanket and a hot toddy.

The Secret to My Easiest Move Ever

Since graduating from college, I have moved nine times - twice cross-country - and I get better at it every time. I achieved a new personal best with my recent move, and I did it without a single cardboard box. Instead, I rented reusable plastic bins from a company called BungoBox and eliminated one of the most stressful parts of the process. Here's why it was awesome.

I Cut Out Cardboard

One of my least favorite parts about moving is procuring boxes. In the weeks leading up to a move, I become a crazy cardboard scavenger, visiting liquor stores, grocery stores, and sidewalks on recycling day to collect as many boxes as possible. I will do anything to avoid paying money for a cardboard box, though I usually end up having to buy some anyway. As someone who is eco-conscious and abhors waste, it pains me to break down all those good boxes and recycle them after a move. Using plastic bins also removed the need for tape, since the lids lock when closed. All I had to buy was bubble wrap and packing paper.

It Saved Time

We researched several bin companies available in our area, including JuggleBox, BoxUp, and Bin-It. We ultimately chose BungoBox because it's available in 13 markets across the US and it offered extralarge boxes. Companies vary based on location, so I urge you to research the offerings in your local market.

Some companies allow you to keep the boxes for one week, while others offer two weeks for a higher price. All of them give you an estimate of the number of bins you'll need based on your apartment size, and we ended up having a near-perfect amount of boxes.

The bins were delivered to my apartment before the move and picked up when I was done. You can keep the bins for one to two weeks around your moving date. I opted to keep mine for a little longer before the move than after. The company also provides wheeled carts so you can move the boxes around as you pack and stickers so you can label them.

The Price Was Right

The four companies I researched offered similar pricing. Quotes vary depending on how many boxes you need, what size box you want, and how long you keep them, but the general range was $150 to $300 for a two-bedroom apartment. We rented a mix of large and extralarge boxes for two weeks, and the cost was around $200, including delivery and pickup.

Renting bins from BungoBox was more expensive than scavenging for cardboard boxes but still very affordable - especially compared to buying cardboard boxes, which can become absurdly expensive. BungoBox estimates that customers save as much as 50 percent versus buying cardboard boxes.

I Couldn't Procrastinate

Because you only rent the boxes for a maximum of two weeks, your move doesn't drag on forever. Renting bins forces you to pack and unpack quickly, which I considered a gift. I speak from experience when I say that if you start packing too soon for a move, it feels endless, and unpacking quickly allows you to feel settled faster than if you leave boxes piled up for months.

The Pros Outweighed the Cons

As long as you can deal with the two-week window, renting bins makes for a far more enjoyable moving experience than using cardboard. It's better for the environment and cuts out a huge, unpleasant step in the moving process.

The only downside is that BungoBox offered only large and extralarge bins. Because the bins are heavier than cardboard, they are very heavy when full. I felt bad for my movers. Were I to do it again, I'd choose a bin rental company that offers a wider variety of sizes. But I'm definitely going the reusable bin route from now on.

Does Tia Find Love on Bachelor in Paradise? Here’s What We Know

You know Tia Booth as the sweet girl from Arkansas who also happens to be best friends with Bachelor alumna Raven Gates. You also know her as the girl who dated Colton Underwood from Becca Kufrin's season of The Bachelorette. Well, we haven't seen the last of Tia, because she's part of the cast on season five of Bachelor in Paradise! But does she find love?

The promo video for the season showed that not only do Tia and Colton talk about their relationship, but Tia hits it off with Chris Randone, who is also from Becca's season.

"Chris seems cool, so far. But there's still so many people that can come down," Tia said during the first episode. "I feel like there is gonna be someone better."

And by someone "better," she meant Colton. It's no secret that Tia hoped he would show up in paradise, and she said how she wanted nothing more than to see him. So when she received the first date card, she was not happy since the guy she wanted to go out with most wasn't there.

Instead, she decided to ask Chris on the date and the two hit it off - complete with a makeout under fireworks. "Yeah, I think there will be more kisses in our future," she said. "Colton who? We don't know him."

In true ABC fashion, nothing stays perfect for long. Just five hours after Tia and Chris got home from their date, who shows up in paradise but Colton himself . . . with a date card. When Chris Harrison asked if he was there for Tia, he said, "I'm here to see if there's anything for me out there. It could be Tia, it could not be Tia." Despite that, he asked her on the date and the two talked about giving their relationship another shot. Cue the romantic boat and jet ski rides - and plenty of kissing.

It looks like we have a serious love triangle on our hands. But Tia, Colton, and Chris all follow each other on Instagram, a pure indication that they don't hate each other's guts, so maybe this doesn't end that badly?

Personally, I don't think it's going to work out with either of the men. Whether she hits it off with someone else in paradise is up in the air, but sheesh, she just needs someone so she can double date with Raven already!

House of Cards: We Finally Know When to Expect the Final Season

We've been eager to hear when the sixth and final season of Netflix's hit political drama House of Cards would debut. Finally, we've received an official confirmation of the premiere date as well as who will be leading the series, and we'll give you a hint: it definitely isn't Kevin Spacey.

During the 2018 Oscars, a teaser trailer aired confirming that the latest season would be coming this Fall, and on Aug. 7 a brand new poster featuring leading lady Robin Wright revealed that the series will return on Nov. 2. That's not too far of a wait, right?

If you still find yourself longing for a first look at the new political figures played by Greg Kinnear and Diane Lane, there are a few things House of Cards fans should check out in the meantime. For starters, watch the nail-biting trailer for a closer look into the final season, spearheaded by the powerful girl boss Claire Underwood (Wright). Could there be a female-fueled spinoff in the works? We can hope, but we'll have to stay tuned to find out.

The 1 Thing Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank Have in Common With Harry and Meghan

Prince William and Kate Middleton may rarely show PDA, but Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank clearly have no problem flaunting their love for one another. Just like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Eugenie and Jack - who are set to tie the knot on Oct. 12 - always seem to make it a point to hold hands and exchange loving looks during public events. Given that Eugenie is ninth in line for the throne, there isn't as much pressure on the royal to keep things professional, and after all, Jack has already gotten "Granny's" approval. Take a look at some of Eugenie and Jack's sweetest PDA moments ahead.

Legacies: You'll Totally Recognize the Setting for the Vampire Diaries Spinoff

We already know that the new CW show, Legacies, is a continuation of the stories told in The Vampire Diaries and its first spinoff, The Originals. But how close to home do we get for this new series, which premieres on Oct. 25? According to creator Julie Plec, the answer is very. On Monday, she told journalists at the Television Critics Association's Summer press tour that the new show's prime setting is at a school that's "off old Miller Road, on the edge of Mystic Falls, where the locals think it's a troubled school for rich kids. But inside are a wonderful cast of characters of young supernatural beings."

For those well-initiated with our favorite fictitious Virginia small town, note that there will still be a Miss Mystic Falls pageant and a Founder's Day celebration. Steven R. McQueen will return as Jeremy Gilbert for one episode and Matt Donovan (Zach Roerig) is still the town sheriff. Most importantly, the show centers on The Vampire Diaries' Alaric Saltzman (Matt Davis), the headmaster at the (ahem) Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted - where he not only oversees The Originals' Hope Mikaelson (Danielle Rose Russell) but his own twin daughters and a bunch of other brooding teen supernaturals.

There are plenty of other Easter eggs for fans of the other two series, but Plec says there's still enough fresh material for newbies to experience what she calls "TVDU" (That would be The Vampire Diaries Universe. Duh).

"For the most part, the mythology is a new mythology," she says. "A lot of the supernatural beings that we'll be opening our doors to are things that you never would have seen on The Vampire Diaries. You don't need to know anything other than kind of just have a love for teen soap and/or like creatures of the night."

So will the kids at Salvatore School have any run-ins with the townies at Mystic Falls High?

"The single most important rule (at this school) is don't fraternize with the locals and don't let anybody in on the secret of who you are or what you can do," Plec says. "In the second episode, we [have] this annual flag football for charity against the local school. And they just they have to lose every year . . . But this bully and this mean girl are just poking and poking and poking . . . And [things] of course, go terribly wrong."

A Comprehensive History of Demi Moore's Many Loves

Being friends with an ex may not be easy, but Demi Moore recently proved that it is, in fact, possible. The actress participated in Bruce Willis's Comedy Central roast last month, and in addition to delivering some pretty intense burns about the actor's career, she also called Bruce one of her "top three husbands." So, who else has Demi been married to? From actors to musicians to a martial arts instructor, take a look at Demi's past romances ahead.

Even at Just 5 Minutes, This Short Cloverfield Film Is Pretty Damn Good

Remember how Netflix dropped The Cloverfield Paradox out of nowhere after the Super Bowl this year? And how it was kind of a confusing mess that barely connected to 2008's Cloverfield? At the time, the takeaway seemed to be that another decent movie in the Cloverfield universe was just not meant to happen. Yes, 10 Cloverfield Lane was a solid entry, but neither film really captured the raw excitement of the first entry into the "franchise." And just when we were about to give up hope, a new addition has suddenly emerged.

Megan is a short film that is not technically part of the Cloverfield canon, at least not yet. That's because it's more of a fan's dedication to the lore of the series than it is an addition with a J.J. Abrams stamp of approval. Megan is directed by Greg Strasz, with writing and story credits by Giuseppe Mercadante, Jean de Meuron, and Strasz himself. At this point, it's merely a "proof of concept" piece, meaning the short clip is meant to demonstrate how effectively the story could function as a feature-length film. But with such a unique take on the franchise and a captivating introduction, we're hoping it gets the big-screen treatment it deserves.

Brace Yourself DC Fans: A Member of the Bat Family Is Officially Joining the Arrowverse

The CW's Arrowverse just keeps getting bigger. Originally announced as the special guest for the network's four-way DC series crossover event in the Fall, Batwoman is now the star of a series in development for The CW. The series is slated for a potential release in 2019 and helmed by the mastermind of DC's small-screen universe, Greg Berlanti. On Aug. 7, it was announced that Ruby Rose would don the cowl and take on the role of the Arrowverse's Batwoman. The series will be joining the squad of popular DC series at The CW, which includes Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, and Black Lightning.

According to the show's official logline, Batwoman tells the story of Kate Kane, who, "armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city's criminal resurgence. But don't call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham's symbol of hope."

Rose's Batwoman will be the first time that the character has appeared on any screen, so an entire series about her is amazing! The Vampire Diaries's Caroline Dries has been tapped to write the script and executive produce along with Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns. Batwoman is the third member of the Bat family to get an onscreen adaptation, after Batman himself and Batgirl, whose standalone film is currently under development with Joss Whedon signed on to write, direct, and produce the film.

Here's How to Pronounce Garrett Yrigoyen's Last Name, Because We Know You're Wondering

First came Luyendyk, then Yrigoyen, so if there's one thing we hope for Becca Kufrin and her future, it's that she keeps her last name. The season finale of The Bachelorette proved to be incredibly emotional (fine, you were right, Chris Harrison), and while we're still mourning her breakup with runner-up Blake, it's time to come to terms with the fact that Becca will (hopefully) one day marry Garrett Yrigoyen, and boy, that's a mouthful.

Becca and her fiancé Garrett appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live following the airing of the finale, and Jimmy wasted no time before asking Garrett the important questions, like how it feels being in public together, what their future plans are, and how the hell do you pronounce his last name. With that big smile on his face, Garrett explains it's "Yer-goy-en."

"You're not going to take that name, are you?" Jimmy asked, to which Becca responded, "We've talked about maybe hyphenating it, but that's 'Kufrin-Yrigoyen,' I don't think our kids are going to be able to pronounce that." Forget about your kids, we can't even pronounce that! Check out the clip below, and then see the photos that prove this might have been the sexiest season of The Bachelorette ever.

Bachelor in Paradise: What to Know About the Love Triangle Between Tia, Colton, and Becca

We were fascinated when we realized there was a love triangle between former Bachelor contestant Tia Booth, recent Bachelorette Becca Kufrin (who is friends with Booth after competing for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart), and Colton Underwood, Becca's (former) potential suitor. All has been explained, in vivid detail, on The Bachelorette, but in case you're headed into Bachelor in Paradise without any knowledge of the drama, here's a crash course.

How Tia and Colton Met

These two met on Instagram after Colton went for his screening interview for The Bachelorette. It's rumored that ABC execs asked Colton which of three women he preferred and showed him a picture of two women and Tia. Not only did he pick Tia, but he followed her on Instagram. She followed back, and one DM convo later, the two of them were meeting up for a very "special" weekend.

Then Arie changed his mind about Becca, broke her heart on national television, and every other contestant in the running to be the next Bachelorette was no longer important as Bachelor Nation rallied for Becca and her happy ending. Colton gets cast, Tia has to hang on the sidelines, and the couple go their separate ways . . . so we thought.

The Reveal

Not wanting to hide anything from Becca, Colton was pretty upfront about his relationship with Tia. While he told Becca really early on into the process (the second episode!) that he knew Tia and they had a "thing," he assured her that he was there for the right reasons and his feelings for Tia weren't an issue.

The End For Colton and Becca

Everything seemed to be going along well for Becca and Colton - dude made it to the top four! However, during a little girl time, Tia dropped a bombshell: she still had feelings for Colton and wanted the chance to explore them.

Becca decided to cut Colton loose in an ultimate showing of girl code. It may have changed the course of her life, but hey, she's engaged and happy. In fact, this little blip on the radar actually didn't seem to put a strain on the relationship between Becca and Tia, as the night after the elimination, Becca took to Instagram to defend her friend and her decision.

It seems that all is well in Bachelorette Nation . . . or not.

A Trip to Paradise

Well, if we thought a love triangle behind us, we were totally wrong. While Tia and Colton are both ready to ship off to paradise, it turns out there is another suitor there who is ready to capture Tia's heart: Chris Randone. Chris is from the same season of The Bachelorette and was present for conversations about Colton and Tia's previous relationship. In the promos, we can see him telling the camera that "Tia's put the Colton situation behind her, and I keep falling in love with her more and more every single day."

Let's do the damn thing.

What Is Going On? Kourtney Kardashian's BF Caught Cozying Up to a Mystery Woman in Mexico

Hold up - did Kourtney Kardashian and Younes Bendjima break up? On Tuesday, TMZ published photos of the 25-year-old model getting cozy with a mystery girl on the beach in Tulum, Mexico, and from the looks of it, Kourtney is nowhere in sight. The pair was seen playfully wrestling on the sand with Younes's arms wrapped around the woman, and at one point, he even lifted her up. Hmm? It's also worth noting that Kourtney and Younes are no longer following each other on Instagram, however, Younes's last post is a photo of him and Kourtney in Italy. Interesting. The woman has since been identified as Jordan Ozuna, and she's previously dated Tyga and Justin Bieber.

Shortly after the photos surfaced, Younes addressed the split rumors on his Instagram stories. "They really want me to be the bad guy," he wrote. "F*ck your Hollywood bullsh*t (can't have fun with your friends no more)."

Jordan also released a statement of her own to E! News. "Younes and I are not involved romantically at all. We were both invited to Mexico for a mutual friend's birthday party with 13 other people," she explained. "It was nothing more than friends having fun at the beach. No, we aren't romantically involved in any way, shape or form."

Kourtney and Younes first struck up a romance in December 2016 after meeting in Paris. Throughout their relationship, they shared a bevy of sweet moments together, including romantic getaways and PDA-filled date nights. However, it seems their relationship has come to an end. According to E! News, Kourtney and Younes initially "decided to take time apart but ultimately it led to a split." "They have been having ups and downs for the past month," a source added. "There was a huge chance they were going to get back together and they were working on things. But now that these photos surfaced, things are definitely over."

If Bachelor in Paradise Starts Right After The Bachelorette, When Do They Even Film It?

And just like that, another season of The Bachelorette has come to a superdramatic, tear-filled, hyperventilating close. We'll never forget the antics from Becca's season - Jean Blanc's rescinded "falling in love with you," David and Jordan's heated two-on-one, all the heartbreaking goodbyes - but we're so ready for some spectacular Bachelor in Paradise antics.

For those curious about when and how long Bachelor in Paradise actually filmed, you may be surprised to learn that production's been wrapped up for over a month now. According to a Twitter post by director Mike Fleiss, filming began on June 8, 2018, and wrapped up the last week of June.

We know what you're thinking: how are a bunch of couples supposed to emerge "marriage ready" with less than a month of dating time? And what about the guys who are fresh off of getting rejected by the latest Bachelorette, like Colton? Historically speaking, there have been a lot of fizzled BIP flames, but there must be something about a steamy three-week vacation that can produce some relationship success. Carly and Evan, Tanner and Jade - and by some extension Ashley and Jared - are proof of that.

Whether solid couples emerge this go-around or not, we're positive we'll get our fill of entertainment in the coming weeks.

We Cannot Stop Drooling Over the Changing Table Joanna Gaines Has in Her Nursery

If you've ever been in a nursery room, no matter how hard the parents try to decorate it in a tasteful way, chances are the changing table is one of those things that leaves a lot to be desired. They're usually a solid color - gray, maybe white - but definitely not something you'd ogle. It's just a place to put a baby when it's time to change a diaper.

But then we caught wind of Joanna Gaines's nursery and realized that you actually can have a chic changing table. In fact, one so chic that we'd want to put it in our bedroom to store everyday knickknacks in. If you've been staring at her nursery room photo in hopes of creating a similar one for your little bundle, we found the wicker table where Crew gets his diapers changed.

Let's Settle This Once and For All: Is the Magic Eraser Nontoxic or Not?

If your goal is to have a tidy house without all the constant scrubbing, then finding effective tools is obviously a top priority. But rather than trying to squeeze dozens of toxic cleaning products under your sink, opt for something that can tackle more than one kind of mess - like scuffed-up baseboards, dirty sneakers, and stained clothing - sans the risk. Enter the Magic Eraser ($8), an ordinary-looking sponge that, despite a few rumors, is actually nontoxic.

The confusion started back in 2006 when there were whispers that Magic Erasers were going to be banned from stores because they contained traces of formaldehyde, you know, the same substance that's used to embalm dead bodies. But according to a statement from Procter & Gamble, the company that manufactures the product, formaldehyde isn't an ingredient in Magic Erasers:

Be assured Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is completely safe when used according to directions, and poses no health risks or safety concerns . . . The ingredients in Magic Eraser have been safely and commonly used for many years in a wide range of household products. Formaldehyde is not and has never been an ingredient in Magic Eraser. One ingredient in Magic Eraser (formaldehyde-melamine-sodium bisulfite copolymer) contains the word "formaldehyde" in its chemical name. However, this ingredient is not formaldehyde and poses no health or safety risks. (Think of this name like "sodium chloride", which is table salt. Sodium by itself can be dangerous, but sodium chloride - salt - is safe.)

In reality, the main ingredient in the product is melamine foam, a mixture of carbon, hydrogen, and nitrogen that was created in the 1830s to make plastics and laminates. Apparently, this particular ingredient is what makes it so effective. "Its microstructure becomes almost as hard as glass - causing it to act like a SUPER-fine sandpaper on stains," according to a post by One Good Thing. "The abrasive foam loosens up dirt and grime, and the open microstructure of the foam sucks it in and traps it there."

Although we can confirm that this nifty little sponge is, in fact, nontoxic, it's important to treat it like any other cleaning product. Don't let kids or pets play with it - in case they end up swallowing a piece of it - and be sure to keep it far, far away from your skin. Happy cleaning!

Thanks to these insulated containers and lunch boxes, you can ensure your child has a warm (or fresh and cold, minus the condensation) meal by the time their lunch hour rolls around.

To the Mom Who Thinks She's Losing Herself in Motherhood, You'll Be OK

I'm watching my daughter's gymnastics class when I see it: a small but totally noticeable spot of crusted poop on my arm. And that's when I know, because I didn't even notice it until this moment, even though it's been hours since I was assaulted by my son's diaper explosion. Yep, I have officially left the building, and in my place is this mom person I've become.

I briefly consider creating a symbol for myself like the one Prince used when he became the artist formerly known as. But then my daughter is calling and waving frantically for me to watch her perform her bajillionth forward roll. So, yet again, I'm pulled away from my thoughts and sucked back into mommy world, a place I seldom leave.

I say this with complete sincerity and I want all my fellow overwhelmed, frustrated, unshowered mamas out there to really hear me: everything will be OK.

Need more evidence that motherhood has hijacked all aspects of my life? I'm typing this with one hand while I breastfeed my son. I only found time to do 12 minutes of a 17-minute yoga video this morning. I haven't been on a date with my husband since Obama was in office. His first term. It sucks. Yet, and I say this with complete sincerity and I want all my fellow overwhelmed, frustrated, unshowered mamas out there to really hear me: I know everything will be OK.

Why? Because this isn't my first ride on the crazy, all-encompassing roller coaster of motherhood. I've been mothering for 10 years. Four kids and countless moments of sheer desperation later and I can finally take a deep breath and actually believe the following phrase, which I want everyone to repeat after me: "It gets better." Go ahead. Try saying it in your head, or out loud if you don't care that people around you might suspect you're talking to yourself. If you have kids attached to you, they won't think anything of it.

I know what you're thinking: "Didn't you just describe a scenario where you have poop on your arm and absolutely no life?" I did, in fact. The thing is, it gets better, and then it gets hard again. The challenges of motherhood come in waves. You're in the trenches, then you're surfing past everyone else struggling to collapse strollers and eating cold, leftover chicken nuggets for dinner, feeling invincible. There are days I know I got this! I'm rocking a Starbucks iced coffee and clothes that actually match, I had time to do my yoga (all 17 minutes of it), and I talked on the phone with an old friend for an entire episode of Shimmer and Shine. Other days, I'm that mom; the one with the messy bun and spit-up-stained maternity tank top who clearly hasn't slept more than four hours in a row for months, whose kids are all whining about wanting more fruit snacks.

My point is this: if you're the fruit snacks mom today, or this week or this month or this year, it's OK. It gets better. Maybe it'll get better for a few hours, or a whole day. Maybe it'll get better long enough for you to catch your breath and get your eyebrows waxed. Maybe it's going to suck for a while. Just know you aren't alone, and we've all been there. You can do this. You are still in there, you just had to take a back seat to motherhood for a hot minute.

Oh, and if you see a mom who looks like she hasn't been there, she's just surfing today. Let her enjoy it. She'll be back in a fruit snacks phase soon enough.

20 Things Teachers Want Parents to Know Ahead of a New School Year

The first day of school is always exciting for kids (Reunited with friends! Fresh school supplies! New shoes!), but it also marks the beginning of a stressful period for parents and teachers. From parent-teacher conferences to endless permission slips to packed schedules, it can be hard to juggle it all for everyone involved. And from a teacher's perspective, I can personally say that while we love our work and find tremendous value in it, we get burned out sometimes, too. But in the end, teachers' and parents' goals align - we all want our students to learn and have a great experience while we avoid unnecessary frustration. To help, here are 20 things teachers want parents to know ahead of the new year.

Don't Overlook This 1 Thing That Might Help Kids Finally Sleep Better

As someone who unknowingly grew up with anxiety and panic, I didn't develop coping tools until much later in life when I could understand behaviors and treat them. As a child, though, my parents and I didn't know much about mental health (no one did back then), let alone did we have products like weighted blankets on the market.

Now, there are a flurry of brands deeply committed to helping families, couples, and children learn how to calm down, relax, and, ultimately, sleep. By way of weighted blankets, which use weights to apply firm and constant pressure, anxious children, kids with autism, and just anyone who has trouble falling asleep at night can benefit from cozying up underneath one. The hug-like sensation stimulates the production of serotonin and endorphins, two naturally occurring calming chemicals in the body.

Weighted blankets don't have to be limited to just sleep time, though; they can be used at any point of the day. See our top picks, and remember that if you're giving one to a child to use, they should be strong enough to push it off themselves without assistance. If you're not sure, consult with a pediatrician before leaving a child unattended with one.

Life Hack: You Can Cook Frozen Chicken in Your Instant Pot - and It Only Takes 12 Minutes!

Proud owner of an Instant Pot? Then you're probably aware of the fact that this handy-dandy contraption can make just about anything - including yogurt and wine - if you're game. But for busy parents everywhere, the Instant Pot can be a big lifesaver as far as dinner is concerned. Why? Because you can actually cook frozen chicken in it on the days you forgot to take it out of the freezer before leaving the house.

Luckily, taking your chicken from its frozen state to something you can actually work with takes much less time than we originally thought. Although your exact cook time will depend on the amount of meat you're trying to defrost, it usually takes anywhere between 10 and 12 minutes to completely defrost a couple of average-sized chicken breasts. If you prefer your chicken more firm or have plans to shred it, simply program your Instant Pot to 12 minutes on the manual setting and get started on the rest of your meal.

And if you're really in a rush, try adding a 1/2 a cup of water or broth per two pounds of frozen chicken to speed the process up. It's also possible to kill two birds with one stone (pun intended!) by adding salt and pepper - or any seasoning of your choice - into the pot along with your favorite marinade. Just be sure the chicken's temperature is above 165 degrees Fahrenheit or that it's not pink in the middle once you release the pressure and pull it out of the pot.

Could it get any easier than that? We think not!

The Biggest Ingredient in Beauty Has Been in Your Glass This Whole Time

Water. Agua. The good ol' H-2-O. It keeps you alive, makes up for 60 percent of your bodyweight, and remains the annoyingly consistent "beauty secret" behind every celebrity's near-perfect skin. Now, it's dripping from your kitchen faucet into beauty products at an alarmingly fast rate.

To be clear, the concept of a "beauty water" isn't entirely new - face mists have been around longer than any Kardashian relationship - but what is shifting is the way that people are using them. Self-tanning water? That exists. Hair waters? Check, check. More and more brands are finding ways to infuse the life-giving liquid into its formulas so you can experience the hydrating benefits from head to toe.

Ready to look (and feel) like a tall glass of water? Dive right in, ahead.

After a Makeup Artist Used This Concealer on Me, I Bought It That Day - Bye, Dark Circles

You could call me a bit of a concealer snob. I have tried tons of different options, always hunting for a choice that meets my high standards. I want something that hides dark circles, covers acne, and stays on all day long. I found my new favorite when a makeup artist applied this Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer Crème ($26) to my face for a shoot.

As soon as my full face of makeup was on, I audibly gasped. I looked wide awake and airbrushed. The concealer had covered all of my blemishes without making me look cakey - a tricky task. It melted into my skin for a natural-looking finish. But then came the real task - would the formula actually stay on all day long?

I was filming a video under hot lights for hours, and frankly, I was sweating a lot. The makeup artist never had to give my skin a touch-up. I stayed camera-ready all day long. I learned that the product is made with complexion-brightening pigments and hydrating ingredients that make the formula crease-proof. I noticed that my skin didn't feel dry when I wiped away my makeup later on.

After just one day, I was so impressed that I immediately ordered the concealer online from Sephora. Thankfully, the product comes in an extensive range of shades so that most skin tones can have a perfect match. If you're in the market for a new option, I highly recommend this pick.

Prince Harry Had the Sweetest Reaction to Meghan Markle's Wedding Day Makeup

If you still find yourself double tapping photos of Meghan Markle's wedding day makeup, you aren't the only fan: Prince Harry also loved the Duchess of Sussex's makeup.

Her makeup artist and longtime friend Daniel Martin told InStyle that Prince Harry was especially smitten by his bride's natural beauty on their wedding day. "After the ceremony Harry kept saying thank you," he said. "He was thanking me for making her look like herself."

For the couple's ceremony, Markle wore soft, neutral makeup that let her natural freckles shine through. In a previous interview, Markle's former makeup artist, Lydia Sellers, revealed that the duchess's number one request in the chair is to make sure her freckles are "peeking through." So it's no surprise that Martin and Markle went for glowing, lit-from-within makeup for her nuptials.

If you, too, have a minimalist beauty approach, take it from the Duchess of Sussex herself: don't be afraid to let your natural beauty take front and center on your wedding day - turns out, it pays off.

Kat Edison's Curly Hair Is the Real Star of The Bold Type

While Freeform's The Bold Type touches on important topics like body positivity, race, and women's health, the show also makes representation a huge priority. Kat Edison (played by Aisha Dee) graces our TV screens with different natural hairstyles every episode, adding to the laundry list of reasons it's worth watching.

From casual topknots to slicked-back ponytails, Edison continues to serve looks each season - whether she's simultaneously figuring out her sexuality or discussing her biracial identity. It's refreshing to see someone with thick, curly hair on television, especially when it's a powerful black woman in the workplace. Not once in the show is she judged nor discriminated against for embracing her natural hair, which feels especially important at a time when women of color are continually ridiculed for it in society. Although hair isn't the focus on the show, it's a small detail that makes a huge impact for viewers.

So for anyone who understands the struggle of maintaining your natural texture (or simply just fighting the urge not to wrap it into a pineapple every day), we've rounded up Edison's best hair looks on the show. It might just spark some new hair ideas along the way.

Why Do We Open Our Mouths When We Apply Mascara?

Watch even the most graceful person apply mascara, and nine times out of 10, their mouth will drop open as if you just asked them the square root of pi. Since the reason why is less universally understood, we asked Blanca Cobb, a body language expert.

"The open mouth phenomenon is a subconscious action," she told POPSUGAR. "You don't realize that you're doing it." Though the contortion might look weird, it actually serves a purpose. Anyone who has ever accidentally shoved a mascara wand to their eyelid knows that's not an optimal outcome, so when we put on mascara, we try to keep our eyes as open and still as possible. "Two different nerves control the muscles that open and close your mouth and upper eyelids, and those nerves are located close together on your body," Cobb said. "The leading theory for why your mouth opens while you apply mascara is because those nerves are cross-firing."

Once you learn how to apply mascara that way, it can be tough to consciously undo the act. "It's reinforced behavior," Cobb said. "You just sense that it works, so you continue to put mascara on that way." The more you know.

Charmed Stars Not Swayed by Holly Marie Combs's Comments: "She Would See It and Like It"

Not everyone is excited about The CW's decision to reboot Charmed, the late '90s and early aughts tribute to sisterly love and witchcraft.

Some fans were irked that the writers' new characters seemed to be trying too hard to champion diversity since the three multiethnic leads are now playing women who were Caucasian in the original series. And others, like first series star Holly Marie Combs, brought up another issue: is it ageist to reboot a series that just ended in 2006 and not cast the original's stars?

"I will never understand what is fierce, funny, or feminist in creating a show that basically says the original actresses are too old to do a job they did 12 years ago," Combs wrote to a journalist earlier this year. For their part, the cast of the new Charmed are not letting these comments get them down.

"I think that we've collectively made a decision to focus on [the fact that this] is such a great place to be and to create this show with people who I love," Melonie Diaz, who plays middle sister Mel in this version, told journalists on Monday during the show's Summer Television Critics Association press day.

Sarah Jeffrey, who plays youngest sister Maggie, adds that "we understand that it's such a sacred thing to so many people; not only the cast but the fans" and that she and the others involved now are "very gracious and grateful" for that. Madeleine Mantock, who plays eldest sister Macy, says she understands Combs's attachment to the show and that she hopes "she would see it and like it."

So will any original cast members appear in the new version of Charmed? "There's always multi verses, and you never know," teased executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman.

Charmed premieres on Oct. 14 on The CW.

Garrett Yrigoyen's Job Before Starring on The Bachelorette May Surprise You

Garrett Yrigoyen may be the man who finally stole Becca Kufrin's heart on The Bachelorette, but he wasn't always a reality TV star. Prior to being cast on the ABC show, the 29-year-old from Reno, NV, was a medical sales rep. Between his disturbing Instagram controversy and the fact that he received the first impression rose, Garrett was a highly talked about contestant from the beginning. But now that there are wedding bells for him and Becca, and we've learned even more about his divorce and former relationship, it's time to look a bit more into his job before he hit the small screen.

Garrett absolutely tested our true investigation skills with his lack of LinkedIn account and a simple "medical sales rep" on his ABC bio, but we dug deeper. According to ZoomInfo, a database filled with employee information, Garrett is a Distal Extremities Surgical Technology Consultant at Arthrex, which is an international global medical device company with offices in Reno.

Although he didn't pursue his baseball dreams as third baseman following his college athletics career, he still enjoys outdoor hobbies like fishing and snowshoeing. Becca got a taste of Garrett's outdoorsy upbringing when she met his family during hometown dates in the small town of Manteca, CA. Check out everything we know about Garrett's new Instagram account, and see what the couple had to say about his scandal during the After the Final Rose special.
