1 Woman Made Custom Outfits For Her Family's Disney Vacation - and They Blow T-Shirts Out of the Water
Sheridan O'Hea, a 20-year-old fashion student from New Jersey, sure knows how to put her sewing talents to good use. In a now-viral Reddit thread, she shared a few photos of matching outfits she handcrafted for her family's annual trip to Disney World, and holy sh*t are they good! Sheridan first became interested in fashion when her grandpa taught her to sew at 8 or 9 years old, and while she admits she didn't do much of it outside of the classroom, she felt inspired thinking about her upcoming family vacation.
"By the end of July I realized that my Disney vacation was coming up soon and my mom was nagging me to get us matching T-shirts like we do every year," Sheridan told POPSUGAR. "I decided that this year would be different. I didn't want to be like any other family with obnoxious T-shirts. I wanted obnoxious outfits. Handmade obnoxious outfits."
She swung by her local craft store to pick up some supplies, and she admits that she already had a few ideas in mind.
"I went to JOANN Fabric and went straight to the Disney section," she said. "I picked out this fabric specifically because I loved the old movie poster design and I thought it was definitely one of the more eye-catching fabrics, which is exactly what I needed. I had a couple ideas of what to make for my family, but I knew that my boyfriend and brother would love their own button-down shirts."
"I decided that this year would be different. I didn't want to be like any other family with obnoxious T-shirts. I wanted obnoxious outfits. Handmade obnoxious outfits."
Sheridan wanted the outfits to come out perfectly. She dedicated all the time she wasn't at work to her ambitious project for a solid week - and despite the time crunch, her effort paid off in spades. Judging by the photos, her family clearly loved her designs.
"I'm so thankful of all of the love I got from my family," she said. "No way was I expecting such feedback for my designs. They are truly my biggest supporters. My mom has always begged me to make her something and I finally did. I was hesitant to make anything for anyone else because I was always so hard on myself about whether or not they would like or wear it."

Everything You Need to Know About Adenomyosis
Gabrielle Union has never been shy when it comes to sharing her fertility struggles with her fans. At a recent event, she gave even more insight to some of the challenges she faced - including the details of her adenomyosis diagnosis.
"Fertility is not an older women issue, it is an issue period," the 45-year-old said during a BlogHer conference in New York City. "Towards the end of my fertility journey, I finally got some answers, because everyone had just sort of chalked it up to 'You're a career woman, you've prioritized your career, you waiting too long and now you're just too old to have a kid. And that's on you for wanting a career.'"
But Gabrielle's case is especially unusual given the age at which she was diagnosed, as it usually affects middle-aged women: "The reality is I actually have adenomyosis," she said. "There is nothing you can do about adenomyosis. The gag is that I had adenomyosis in my early 20s."
Never heard of adenomyosis before? You're not alone. Scroll through to see exactly how it can affect women and how you can treat the condition.
Trump Called Omarosa a "Dog," and Pete Souza Had a Perfect, Scalding Response
Donald Trump, if you play with fire, you are going to get burned . . . by Pete Souza. The former White House photographer has a whole archive of Obama photos he uses as his own personal set of matches. Following Trump's Aug. 14 tweet calling former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman a "dog," Souza is showing the current president what an actual pupper looks like - with a photo featuring none other than beloved Portuguese Water Dog and former Woofer in Chief Bo Obama. "A real dog waiting for a real president," Souza wrote alongside the picture.

- Pete Souza (@PeteSouza) August 14, 2018
Manigault-Newman is making the rounds timed to the release of her tell-all book, Unhinged, and Trump's Aug. 14 tweet referring to her as an animal has sparked widespread outrage. With Manigault-Newman exposing Trump's alleged use of the n-word and other derogatory racial slurs on a long-rumored recording from The Apprentice, Souza truly has us longing for the Obama glory days.
When you give a crazed, crying lowlife a break, and give her a job at the White House, I guess it just didn't work out. Good work by General Kelly for quickly firing that dog!
- Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 14, 2018
Making matters worse, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders now says that she "can't guarantee" we'll never hear a recording of Trump saying the "n-word." In the same Aug. 14 press conference, she also claimed that Trump's comments referring to Manigault-Newman as an animal have "absolutely nothing to do with race and everything to do with the president calling out someone's lack of integrity."
Souza's latest dig was just that: his latest. He constantly fires back at whatever Trump's latest abhorrent, headline-making move is with a reminder of what the presidency used to look like when Obama was in office. Whether it's a photo of Michelle and Barack's loving embrace after Trump said he wasn't buying Melania a birthday present or a reminder of what "animals" actually look like with a photo of zebras after Trump referred to immigrants as such, Souza never strays away from a blatant call-out.
If the current news cycle has you utterly disgusted, might we suggest basking in these photos of Bo and Sunny Obama with the former first family.

20 Years Later, and We Still Want to Raid Charlotte's Sex and the City Wardrobe
When it comes to Sex and the City's iconic style moments, you may have been a fan of Carrie's head-turning outfits, Samantha's skin-tight ensembles, and Miranda's boss-lady power suits, but Charlotte's chic feminine and preppy looks should not be overlooked. While the other girls were trendsetters of their time, Charlotte's classic all-American wardrobe is still very much in style, more than two decades later.
Not only was her style timeless and attainable, but women everywhere are still finding sartorial inspiration from her looks. The show's stylist, Patricia Field, told us, "Charlotte is the girl that every guy wants to take home to mother. As such, I tended to dress her in silhouettes that gave a nod to the '50s." Because Charlotte always wore such classic and timeless pieces, her style has truly stood the test of time, perhaps better than the rest, and we have the proof. Click through to see some of her chicest moments from both the films and the show.

Meet Bachelor in Paradise's New Bartender: Yuki Kimura
Bachelor Winter Games came and went so quickly that we wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people missed it. If that's the case for you, you might be wondering who this Yuki character is on Bachelor in Paradise and why she's so beloved by all the other contestants. We're here to fill you in.
Winter Games was a play on the Olympics, which was airing at the same time and the perfect excuse to introduce a diverse crowd of Bachelor Nation characters to the US audience. People from everywhere joined together to find love (and ski terribly), including Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Australia, and Japan, which is where Yuki is from.
Yuki - who was on Japan's first season of The Bachelor - was not only a contestant favorite on Winter Games but a fan favorite, as well. She came in with a bubbly spirit and a true desire to find a partner, but it just didn't pan out for her on the season, and she ended up leaving a little early. Clearly, producers heard the cries for more Yuki, and they brought her back to Bachelor in Paradise as a bartender with Wells. Whatever shenanigans those two get into it, we know that it's gonna be good TV.

Bachelor in Paradise: What You Need to Know About New Girl Jenna
She showed up on Bachelor in Paradise with rose gold hair and automatically clicked with Jordan Kimball - say hello to Jenna Cooper! It looks like we'll have to keep an eye on the 28-year-old this season, but before we do, here's what we know about her.
Jenna was on season 22 of The Bachelor to compete for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart. Although she wasn't one of the final women, you can't forget her big smile - or maybe you just can't forget that she jokingly said that she would drink her pee for Arie. You know, whichever.
She was a social media manager while on Arie's season but has since become the founder of the Rose Gold Club in Raleigh, NC. The club is for women "who are interested in developing relationships through becoming more involved in the social scene," according to its description. After you apply and become a member, you get access to special events, meetups, and discounts (50 percent off on spray tans, anyone?).
We don't know how Jenna's love story ends on Bachelor in Paradise, but we do know that even if she doesn't leave with a man, she left with some girlfriends.

Blue, Rumi, and Sir Make Cute Cameos in Beyoncé's Vogue Shoot Video
Beyoncé covers Vogue's September issue for the second time, and in her accompanying interview, the singer got real about motherhood, body acceptance, and diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry. After the jaw-dropping issue was unveiled, Vogue also released a behind-the-scenes video from Beyoncé's statement-making photo shoot, which was shot by 23-year-old Tyler Mitchell.
The clip starts with a sweet cameo from Beyoncé and JAY-Z's 6-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who promises to "zoom in" for some pictures. The vintage-inspired video shows bits and pieces of Beyoncé posing in regal headwear and floral crowns while also giving a few glimpses of 1-year-old twins Rumi and Sir. Don't Blink! Bachelor in Paradise Will Be Over Before You Know It
The only thing that holds us over in between The Bachelorette and The Bachelor is Bachelor in Paradise. (OK, last year we also got Bachelor Winter Games, which is where we met the new bartender in Paradise.) The premise of the summertime lovefest is vastly different from the original titles, but it's filled with just as much, if not more, drama and tears. But with two two-hour episodes every week, we've doubled our commitment. Although we love the series, we do miss having an extra free evening in our schedules. This brings us to the question: how many episodes did we commit to?
Season five will have 11 episodes, according to IMDb. The final episode will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 11, which means that you'll have sat through six weeks (22 hours) of this beautiful mess. For comparison, season four had nine episodes and season three also had 11.
Previews lead us to believe that one of the season's supposed villains, Krystal Nielson, gets a marriage proposal. So yeah, you'll want to stick around until the last episode.
Greta Gerwig's Little Women Remake Is Already Shaping Up to Have the Best Cast
Greta Gerwig is picking up steam on her next project, which will see her dusting off a true classic: the Oscar nominee has signed on to direct a new adaptation of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women.
If you missed it in high school English, Little Women follows four sisters - Amy, Jo, Beth, and Meg - who live with their mother in Massachusetts during the Civil War era. Their father is away, working as a chaplain in the war, and the family learns to lean on one another while spending their first holiday without him. The novel has been adapted for film six times, as well as having inspired TV musicals, plays, and even operas.
Gerwig was originally on board to write the movie but has since taken over as director, with a pretty impressive cast reportedly in talks (*cough* MERYL! *cough*). Keep reading to see who might be playing the beloved characters in Gerwig's Little Women.
Castle Rock Gets the Green Light for a Second Season of Thoroughly Messing With Our Minds
Hulu's original series Castle Rock is coming back for another season! The J.J. Abrams-produced anthology drama will return with an entirely new story for its second season, a brand of storytelling that is new to the streaming service.
The show is the second Stephen King-inspired series on Hulu after 11.22.63, which is based on the novel of the same name. According to Hulu, the adaptation became the most successful first-season Hulu Original within the first day of its release, in regard to consumption and reach. Castle Rock has also scored among the highest view-through rates for a Hulu Original since in its first and second weeks since its debut.
The sinister first season follows Henry Deaver (André Holland) as he investigates an eerie appearance in King's titular fictional town and meets an interesting group of characters along the way. On top of a great performance from Holland, the show's cast features Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, Scott Glenn, Jane Levy, and Terry O'Quinn.
If you've yet to catch up on Castle Rock, there's still plenty of time - the first season is currently airing on Hulu, with new episodes added every Wednesday.
A Bunch of Pictures of Kristen Bell Living Her Sexiest (and Somehow Still Relatable) Life
Kristen Bell is not only refreshingly candid and unabashedly emotional - she's also a total stunner. The 38-year-old actress, singer, and mother of two might be a total sweetheart (and the voice of everyone's favorite socially awkward princess), but her gorgeous smile is only made better by her incredibly hot figure. Here are 50 of Kristen's hottest red carpet moments. You're one lucky man, Dax Shepard.
Every Inmate Who Has Left Litchfield on Orange Is the New Black
Warning: spoilers ahead for season six!
For many of the inmates on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black, things only seem to go from bad to worse. In fact, the newest season of the prison-based dramedy sees multiple inmates gain additional years on their sentences. Taystee, in particular, is being punished for a crime she didn't commit.
Even prison release doesn't necessarily bring freedom for the Litchfield inmates. After what could have been a successful escape, Pennsatucky turns herself in, deciding she actually wants to finish her original sentence instead of running from the law. And Blanca's early release ends in her being led to an ICE bus, in a truly heartbreaking turn of events.
Still, there are some inmates who've left Litchfield and are now in the outside world, for better or worse. Aleida, for example, is trying to make ends meet to get her children back by any means necessary. And now that Piper has been released, she seems to have more options ahead of her than her fellow ex-convicts.
In case you need a refresher, here's a list of everyone who's left Litchfield's minimum- and maximum-security facilities over the show's six seasons. (This includes inmates who have escaped or been released, not the ones who've died under the prison's watch.)

Can You Really Get "Addicted" to Tattoos?
When celebrity piercer Brian Keith Thompson started getting tattoos in the late 1990s, his family sat him down for an intervention. "They were concerned that I was covering large portions of my body," he told POPSUGAR. Later, he was arrested, and even the jaded detectives who booked him offered words of warning. "They were like, 'Dude, what are you doing with those big tattoos? You're never going to be able to get a job. You're going to be an outcast.'" For Thompson, that was precisely the point. The former Marine had always felt a little different and somewhat off. Repeatedly covering his body in ink was a way to express that with the world.
Monami Frost, a Liverpool, England-based clothing designer, agreed. The entrepreneur is covered in tattoos mostly done by her husband, artist Anrijs Straume. "I feel very strange having blank skin," she said. "When I get a new tattoo, I feel like I'm coming home and becoming more of who I am."
Both Thompson and Frost consider their tattoo collecting a hobby. But could it be an addiction?
Not exactly, NYC neuropsychologist Dr. Sanam Hafeez said. However, the rush some people feel after getting inked is more than just a placebo. "Getting a tattoo can activate nerve endings or pleasure centers in the brain," Hafeez said. "It might also trigger an after-sensation that feels like a sense of achievement or accomplishment. That can feel like a 'reward' to some, and they can begin to associate the pleasant feeling with the experience."
"It feels like an active choice."
That sensation can keep people coming back to tattoo parlor chairs, especially when coupled with the fact that the art makes some people feel like they have control over their own bodies. According to Hafeez, "Getting inked feels like an active choice." That said, Hafeez noted that tattoo ink itself contains no addictive ingredients.
By definition, you can't get addicted to tattoos, because you can't become totally dependent on them for survival. While you don't run the risk of ink taking over your life, that doesn't mean that the decision to subject yourself to the process should be taken lightly. Even though Thompson runs a tattoo parlor, he admitted to regularly talking customers out of the process. "A neck tattoo that says 'F*ck the world' may look great if you're on a billboard promoting your latest album, but it's not going to do well if you want to be an officer in the US Marine Corp," he said. "If a client works in a more conservative industry, I definitely encourage them to put some thought into a more discreet tattoo placement."
While tattoos are becoming more mainstream, that's not reason alone to get one. "If you only want a tattoo because it's trendy right now, I would recommend that you hold off," Thompson advised. "But if you want to get a tattoo because your heart can't live without it, then it would never be a mistake."
1 Woman's Lash Extensions Were Glued on With Super Glue - and the Results Are Scary
Imagine this: you go into the local beauty salon to get a fresh set of eyelash extensions, only to leave with your eyes glued shut. Scary, right?
This was the reality for one woman, who then had to get her lashes completely removed. According to the owner of Fara Beauty Salon in Thailand, one client came into the salon with her eyes sealed shut following the application of lash extensions with super glue to get them removed. In a video posted to Facebook (which you can watch ahead), the technician shows her removal process, where she applied an oil to break down the glue, and then picked out each individual lash. The end result left the client's eyes severely inflamed and the lengthy lashes she'd hope for were stumpy and melted off.
First, let's address the obvious: super glue and lash extensions do not mix. "Damage to the natural lashes is the result of improper application, or the stylist not selecting the correct type of lash for an existing one," said Clementina Richardson, celebrity lash expert and founder of Envious Lashes. She added that extensions should only be attached to the natural lash, not the skin, one strand at a time.
When it comes to the type of glue used for your lashes, Richardson stressed that medical-grade adhesive is the best. "This is not something you can buy in a drugstore or a beauty supply store," she said. "Some adhesives dry clumpy and are visible, those are ones to avoid. Do not use crazy glue, hair glue, or any other glue, that is a big no-no."
No matter how much time lash extensions save you in your beauty routine, safety should be your number one concern. That means ensuring you're going to a licensed technician at a reputable salon. "Do not go for the cheapest price, take the time to do your homework," she said.
The bottom line: lash extensions are a lot easier to eff up than they are to get right, so do your research before you take the plunge.

Why Doing a Boudoir Photo Shoot in Lingerie Was the Ultimate Form of Self-Care For Me
I've spent most of my life battling body-image issues and insecurities about my figure. I'm 5'1 and have a naturally stocky build with broad shoulders. One ex-boyfriend and his entire family used to call me Stumps because of my "big thighs." He also once told me I look like a running back because I'm so short and stout. I'm sure you can imagine how I wasn't too pleased to receive that kind of feedback from a guy who was supposed to be my greatest support.
Having been teased at school for many years as well, I entered my adult years with some emotional baggage. But the last few years have helped me regain my confidence, and I owe a lot of that to my dedication to fitness and clean eating.
Self-care practices also played a huge role in my growth of self-confidence and body acceptance. From meditating daily to journaling to attending wellness retreats, I've found all sorts of ways to take care of my mind as well as my body. One unexpected thing I did this year that contributed to better self-care was participate in a boudoir photo shoot.
It sounds strange, but posing in lingerie was an incredible way to heal my past wounds and feel stronger and more beautiful than ever. I worked with Tonhya Wysong, a professional photographer who created the project La Femme Forte, an initiative that's dedicated to helping women feel more confident in their bodies. This is how La Femme Forte acted as the ultimate self-care for me.
Love Island Is Your Next Reality Obsession - Don't Even Try to Fight It
CBS is the original home of American reality TV, as the network that brought us such icons as Survivor and Big Brother. In recent years, though, it's ceded its throne to a slew of talent- and dating-based reality competitions. With the announcement that the network has acquired the rights to Love Island, however, it looks like the Eye network is back with a vengeance! If you're wondering if this show is for you - or what all the fuss is about - we've got all the info you need.
The Premise
No, it's not a remake of The Love Boat but set on an island. Essentially, it's a bit of a blend between Survivor and The Bachelor. Contestants are sent to a tropical island for the duration of the show, where they have to pair up in order to avoid elimination. Episodes revolve around a wide variety of tasks, from strategy games to romantic ones. All the while, home audiences vote live on eliminations. It's an import from the UK's ITV2 network, where it's aired five seasons and counting.
Watch If You Like . . .
Would you enjoy Love Island? Well, that depends. Do you have very strong opinions about who gets the roses on The Bachelor, and then follow your faves over to Bachelor in Paradise? Do you secretly (or not-so-secretly) love the cheesy competitions on Big Brother? Do you love voting for your favorites on The Voice and Dancing With the Stars? Do you still miss the beloved reality shows Paradise Hotel and Temptation Island?
If any of these are a "yes" for you, then Love Island might be for you! Although there's a "game" component to the show, it's the "finding love" part that's the main focus - think Bachelor in Paradise or Are You The One?.
Why People Are Buzzing
At first glance, it might seem like Love Island is just another in a long line of dating reality shows. We've got plenty of those, so what sets this one apart? According to David George, CEO of ITV's American branch, it's the show's unique blend of romance, strategy, and audience interactivity. Have you ever wanted to "vote off" that one really annoying contestant on The Bachelorette? This show gives you a chance to do something pretty similar, with audiences voting on some of the eliminations.
"As a format, Love Island breaks the mold with high levels of viewer interactivity and participation that influence the content of the show in a way that's extremely addictive."
Besides the format of the show, it's coming to America with a history that's nothing to sniff at. The British version has lasted for five seasons, with more to come, and is the most-watched program in ITV2's history. (It's also on several nights a week, so it's quite a time investment.) Contestants on the UK version have become pop culture celebrities, and watching the show live has become something of a national phenomenon. It's easy to imagine American audiences reacting the same way!
A debut for Love Island has yet to be announced. In the meantime, you can catch up on the UK version, streaming now on Hulu.
The Fitness Mantra You Can Borrow From the Notorious RBG
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg may be 85, but she still makes fitness a priority. Even though she has one of the most demanding jobs there is, Justice Ginsburg works out twice a week with her personal trainer Bryant Johnson, ACE, MFT, author of The RBG Workout and member of The Vitamin Shoppe Wellness Council.
Her workouts focus on strength and flexibility, but just because she's 85 doesn't mean they are easy - Stephen Colbert even had a tough time keeping up. And while it would be easy for Justice Ginsburg to skip her workouts, Bryant told POPSUGAR that she has a mantra that keeps her motivated.
"My mantra for the justice is to 'just show up,'" he said. "When it comes to working out, showing up is part of the battle. The justice always shows up for training and gives it her very best. One time she told me she left a White House dinner early to make it to our training session."
She's had this same work ethic for the 19 years they've been training together. She went from barely being able to do a push-up on her knees when they first started to doing 20 full push-ups in a row. She also does planks, pistol squats, leg lifts, and bench squats with a medicine ball.
"No matter what your situation is, small gains can lead to big victories," Bryant said. "The justice has faced every challenge, from fighting cancer two times to working one of the most challenging jobs there is, and she always makes time to work out and give it her all."
Justice Ginsburg is all the fitspo we need to hit the gym and crush it!
Jillian Michaels Says You Should Lift Weights This Often For Fat Loss
You may have heard your fair share of claims that weightlifting can speed up fat loss and help you lean out faster. Well, that's not a myth. We confirmed with Jillian Michaels, health and fitness expert and creator of the My Fitness by Jillian Michaels App, and she agreed that lifting weights can help you efficiently shed fat.
"Lifting weights absolutely speeds fat loss because it burns more calories during and after your workout if done right," Jillian told POPSUGAR. Part of doing your workout the right way is doing "circuit training with HIIT intervals included in that circuit," according to Jillian. You can include both strength training and cardio into a circuit like this, ensuring you make the most of your time.
But here's the million-dollar question: how many times a week should you strength train to see positive results? "Women should lift four times a week if possible," Jillian explained. "Train each muscle twice a week with two days of rest between training days."
This is the example Jillian gave us. On Mondays and Thursdays, work on muscle groups that are primarily responsible for pushing movements, like "chest, triceps, shoulders, quads, and obliques." Then focus on the "pulling" parts of the body, such as your back, biceps, hamstrings, and upper and lower abs on Wednesdays and Fridays.
If you have no idea where to start or you don't know how to do basic exercises, consider working with a trainer for a few sessions. For more inspiration, here are some workouts to get you started.
66 Positive Things You Should Be Saying to Your Child
In a world where saying "no" is usually a lot easier than saying "yes," it is important to bring up children who don't feel that negativity has a higher value than positivity. Encouraging words can have a truly lasting effect on your kiddos years and years after you've said them, so we should choose to use phrases that will make them feel good about themselves inside and out, things that will stick with them as words that got them through tough times.
Whether you want to tell them how great they were at their soccer game, or how much you love spending time with them, here are 66 positive and encouraging things to say to your child on a daily basis.

The Wife: Glenn Glose and Jonathan Pryce Take Down Christian Slater in This Exclusive Clip
The more Glenn Close we have on our screens, the better, which is why we're so excited for The Wife. The upcoming drama stars Close as Joan Castleman, who's headed to Stockholm with her husband, Joe (Game of Thrones alum Jonathan Pryce), where he's set to receive the Nobel Prize for Literature. Of course, the trip begins to dredge up doubts for Joan about the choices she's made over the course of her marriage, which has always required her to play second fiddle. In the exclusive clip above, Joe and Joan tussle with Christian Slater's overeager author Nathaniel on a plane, which should give you a good taste for what the rest of the movie entails.
The Wife hits theaters on Aug. 17.

This Is the Face of a Girl Who Just Ordered $350 Worth of Toys From Her Mom's Amazon Account
My badass little cousin ordered $300 worth of toys w/o my aunt & uncle knowing. This is a picture of how everyone found out. pic.twitter.com/wHWVhsMBYI

We've all heard of kids ordering stuff from their parents' Amazon Prime accounts, but it's often just a false alarm – shipments thwarted in the nick of time. That wasn't the case for Caitlin, a cunning six-year-old in Arizona who, after being allowed to order one Barbie doll for her birthday, asked her parents if she could log back on to the site to see when her gift would arrive.
That's when the little girl helped herself to dozens of toys, video games, and board games.
"My badass little cousin ordered $300 worth of toys without my aunt and uncle knowing," the girl's older cousin, Ria Diyaolu, wrote on Twitter alongside a photo of "how everyone found out." It showed a man unloading several large boxes off a delivery van and onto the driveway of the girl's home. Caitlin, standing next to the stack of packages that were literally as tall her her, had quite the expression on her face as her mom looked on.
"She is a scammer in training," she joked on Twitter.
Turns out, when her mom checked her Amazon account, she found three pages worth of items totaling $350. "She knew exactly what she was doing when she did it," her older cousin, Ria Diyaolu, told Buzzfeed. "I was so surprised that a 6-year-old knew how to do one-click, next-day shipping."
Parents, this is your final warning.
Gabrielle Union "Finally Got Some Answers" About Her Infertility Struggles
In her book We're Going to Need More Wine, Gabrielle Union opened up about her infertility struggles and shared that she's had "eight or nine miscarriages" throughout her marriage with Dwyane Wade. The revelation that those losses meant something more than the fact that she was trying to conceive in her early 40s led Gabrielle to speak more candidly about her fertility journey, and she's continuing to do so now.
"Fertility is not an older women issue, it is an issue, period," she said during the 2018 BlogHer conference in New York City. "Towards the end of my fertility journey, I finally got some answers, because everyone had just sort of chalked it up to 'You're a career woman, you've prioritized your career, you waiting too long and now you're just too old to have a kid. And that's on you for wanting a career.'"
It turns out Gabrielle has been diagnosed with a condition called adenomyosis. "There is nothing you can do about adenomyosis. The gag is that I had adenomyosis in my early 20s," she said.
Doctors don't know the exact cause of adenomyosis, but according to the Mayo Clinic, the condition occurs "when the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows into the muscular wall of the uterus . . . An enlarged uterus and painful, heavy periods can result." Adenomyosis is considered to be a form of endometriosis, which can often result in infertility.
How 3 Celebrity Makeup Artists Would Spend $20 on Beauty Products
While it's fun to covet Cardi B's $295 makeup routine or the $401 worth of beauty products Nicki Minaj wore on her recent album cover, you probably have rent to pay and Uber rides to cancel. If you can't drop triple the price of your air-conditioning bill on makeup, you might rely on your trusty drugstore beauty aisle.
That said, the stacked shelves of your drugstore can be an intimidating place. Rather than wander the maze of $7 foundations and $4 lipsticks forever, you can opt for the following items celebrity makeup artists rely on when they're feeling thrifty.
Melanie Griffith Reflects on Her High-Profile Marriages: "I Love Them All So Much"
Melanie Griffith isn't interested in getting married again, but she also doesn't wish her three ex-husbands any ill will. The 61-year-old actress recently opened up about marriage - and divorce - in a candid interview for the September 2018 issue of InStyle. "All of my husbands, my three husbands - I love them all so much, and we're all very close," she said.
Melanie famously married Don Johnson for six months when she was 18, and the couple later remarried a decade later following her split from Steven Bauer. Despite the ups and downs of their relationship, Melanie said it was meant to be for one special reason: her daughter Dakota Johnson. "It was sort of a natural karmic thing for us to get back together and to have Dakota," Melanie said. "She was meant to come into the world, if you think about it."
Melanie also remembers her marriage to Antonio Banderas with fondness. She said marrying the actor and sharing a daughter with him, Stella del Carmen Banderas, was "more exciting than playing a part in a story." Melanie added, "You have to live your life and not just play somebody else all the time. And how can you play somebody else if you don't live your own life?"
Antonio shared a similar sentiment in an interview with People earlier this year. "Even if we are divorced, she is my family and I will love her until the day I die," he said. "We have been in contact all these years and we managed to do a separation that is very elegant."
As for the future, Melanie thinks her married days are behind her. "I really don't think it's relevant for anyone anymore," she said. "But especially if you're 60 and you have four kids and you're living the life you've always wanted. Then why get married?"
I'm a Trainer, and This Is the Exercise I Do to Strengthen My Back and Legs
Image Source: POPSUGAR Photography / Rima Brindamour
If I had to choose my favorite body part to train during workouts, it would be my legs. This probably stems from my background in soccer and track and field, but I can't help but love that burning feeling I get after doing walking lunges, sprints, and power cleans.
A few weeks ago, I took a HIIT class and decided to skip the kettlebell swings due to a nagging lower-back injury and do kettlebell deadlifts instead. During my second set of deadlifts, the instructor came over to me and told me to try a narrow stance deadlift. As soon as I completed my first rep, I felt my entire posterior chain light up, especially my hamstrings and butt.
I was extremely sore two days after my workout and couldn't figure out why, and then it hit me: it was the narrow stance deadlifts. It was a hurt-so-good feeling, which is why I'm sharing this move with all of you. Get ready to strengthen your back, glutes, core, and hamstrings with this deadlift variation.

Here's how to do it:
- Select a medium to heavy kettlebell; 15 kilograms (about 33 pounds) should be a good start, but feel free to go lighter or heavier. There should be about half a foot of space in between your feet.
- With your core engaged and your back flat, grip the handle of the kettlebell with both hands, holding it in front of you with your arms fully extended.
- Engage your core as you shift your hips backward, like you were going to sit in a chair, lowering the kettlebell down to the ground. Be sure not to round your back.
- Still engaging your core, drive through your heels and squeeze your glutes as you lift up.
- This counts as one rep. Complete three sets of eight reps.
The Details of JFK's "Affair" With Marilyn Monroe Are Way More Chill Than We've Been Told
Marilyn Monroe was one of the most glamorous and sought-after stars of her time. John F. Kennedy was, well, the president of the United States. After Marilyn performed a steamy rendition of "Happy Birthday" at the commander-in-chief's 45th birthday party in May 1962, rumors of an affair were propelled - and those rumors have persisted throughout history, even though details of an ongoing relationship between the two are actually pretty scarce.
The first time Marilyn and JFK were confirmed to have been at the same place at the same time was at the April in Paris Ball on April 11, 1957, at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in NYC; Marilyn was there with her then-husband, playwright Arthur Miller, while John attended with his wife, Jackie, and his sister, Eunice Kennedy Shriver. Both of them were photographed extensively throughout the night, but no meeting between them took place at that event. It's more likely that John and Marilyn first met at a dinner party hosted by actor Peter Lawford in 1961. Peter was married to John's sister Patricia, whom Marilyn became friends with while filming Let's Make Love. They also had a mutual friend in Frank Sinatra, who was a member of the Rat Pack with Peter and who briefly dated Marilyn after her divorce from Arthur Miller.
Multiple Marilyn historians, including respected biographer Donald Spoto, who wrote the 1993 book Marilyn Monroe: The Biography, allege that the most plausible time that Marilyn and JFK could have had a sexual encounter was during a party at Bing Crosby's home in Palm Springs, CA, on March 24, 1962. Marilyn's masseur and close friend Ralph Roberts told Spoto that he received a call from the actress asking him for massage techniques for muscles of the back, and that he "heard a distinctive Boston accent in the background" before Marilyn handed the phone to President Kennedy. Ralph Roberts added, "Marilyn told me that this night in March was the only time of her 'affair' with JFK. A great many people thought, after that weekend, that there was more to it. But Marilyn gave me the impression that it was not a major event for either of them: it happened once, that weekend, and that was that."
"Marilyn loved the secrecy and the drama of it, but Kennedy was not the kind of man she wanted to spend her life with, and she made that very clear."
Donald Spoto also wrote, "No serious biographer can maintain the existence of an affair between Marilyn and the Kennedys. All we can say for sure is that the actress and the President have met four times, between October 1961 and August 1962, and it was during one of those meetings, that they called to a friendly relation of Marilyn from a bedroom. Shortly after, Marilyn confided this sexual relation to her close relatives, insisting about the fact that their affair ended there." The late actress Susan Strasberg, whose father Lee was Marilyn's acting coach and who considered Marilyn to be "a surrogate sister," wrote in an unfinished memoir that Marilyn did spend that night with the president, but denied any sort of ongoing affair. "It was OK to sleep with a charismatic president," Strasberg said, adding that "Marilyn loved the secrecy and the drama of it, but Kennedy was not the kind of man she wanted to spend her life with, and she made that very clear." It was reportedly that night at Crosby's home that John asked Marilyn to perform at his upcoming birthday party at Madison Square Garden.

On May 19, 1962, Marilyn, clad in a curve-hugging sequined dress, sang a breathy rendition of the song for JFK (on his request, mind you). While rumors of an affair ran rampant after the event - and pictures have been doctored over time to show them together - the only photographic evidence of them that exists is a shot of Marilyn, John, and Bobby Kennedy having a conversation during a party at the home of movie executive Arthur Krim after she performed.
Less than three months after the famous performance, Marilyn would be dead from an accidental overdose of barbiturates, leaving behind a lifetime of unconfirmed rumors of a relationship between her and the president (not to mention his possible involvement in her death). Despite the fact that JFK's philandering ways were well known, it's most likely that his connection with Marilyn was just a dalliance and nothing more than a one-night stand. Was it salacious? Yes. But was it the torrid, persisting affair that we've been told it was? All signs point to "nah."
